Good food/spotty service

By Francine N |

This place is not located convenient to the craziness of all the parks but worth the drive if you have a car. We went mid-afternoon, the place was fairly empty. The salsa was excellent served with warm chips. All the food was all very good, hot and fresh but service was where they dropped the ball. We had to continually ask/remind them of things we ordered and find them in order for them to follow through. We just found it frustrating and because of this they lost a better rating. Maybe it was an off day, but If you have patience and don’t mind dealing with less then average service, then I’d highly recommend it.

Great family meal

By Sherry |

Absolutely amazing family meal at Agave Azul. Food, atmosphere and service were incredible. Our server Luana was great - very helpful and knowledgeable. We were a little intimidated by the menu and she gave us some good recommendations and even let us try a sample before ordering. The food came very quickly and it was delicious. We had the street corn to start and then chicken fajitas, enchiladas al mole and birria tacos as mains, then churros for dessert - all dishes were great. The watermelon and pineapple margaritas were also both super tasty. Highly recommend!

Uber Eats great tacos and chips!

By Elizabeth S |

Great food, delivered via uber eats, loved the queso and tacos! I do think this would have been better in person, but what isn’t, will make sure to visit the restaurant next time.

Best Mexican food in town.

By Cpeebles7 |

We went to Agave this week. I had the Mexican street corn as well as the shrimp rice bowl. Both were incredible. Roberto was our server and taught us all about tequila. He was super informative. He also makes incredible margaritas.

Highly recommend

Great local Mexican Restaurant

By mstanco |

We were a party of eight and we were seated at a long table in the newly renovated dining area. Food was excellent, service was excellent. It was our first night of our family reunion and everything was perfect!

great food and drinks just lately poor service dont know if it is new management

By camiloduque127 |

everything in the menu is absolutely delicioso just poor management take a long time to bring food even when the restaurant is empty ive been there many times all types of different hours and the inconsistency on the pricing need to improve. they use to have mariachis they no longer have i think this made them unique and attrack more people they use to be my favorite in the area about 10 of us from work will dine at this restaurant but the service has gotten so poor we had to find another place to eat and drink

YUM

By Laurens Travels |

I had been following this restaurant for months on Instagram and finally said, that’s it I’m going now! My husband and I were seated right away, which he was worried wouldn’t happen on a Friday night. Our food was amazing and the Como la Flor margarita I got was really tasty too. Will definitely be coming back to try more off the menu.

Great food great service

Great food and great service. We ordered the Carne Asada tacos which were delicious and fajitas. The cheese dip was great as well.

I expected more!

By Luciana P |

Nice restaurant with good service, but I found the food untasteful. For the taste I would not come back, I expected more. I was a little disappointed!

Hair in the Drink, Help Nowhere in Sight – A Service Meltdown at Agave Azul

By Josh E |

This was hands down one of the most disappointing dining experiences my family and I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, things felt off. The restaurant was barely busy, yet we waited about 10 minutes just to be seated. Once we sat down, it took nearly 10 more minutes for our server, Jameel G., to even acknowledge us. In that time, we’d already picked out our appetizers and entrées—still no water, no check-in, nothing. We had to flag down other staff members just to ask if someone was assigned to our table. When the server finally appeared, he dropped off chips, poured water, took the appetizer order, and disappeared again. He returned after our appetizer arrived, only to quickly pass by with a “how’s everything?” and vanish once more. It felt like we were on our own the entire time. Then, things got worse. My daughter found a piece of hair in her drink. We tried to bring it to a manager’s attention—but couldn’t even locate one. After a few minutes, we asked a staff member to notify the manager, who was apparently standing up front. It still took another 5 minutes before he came over. When he finally arrived, he apologized and said he’d “take care of us.” But it felt more like a scripted performance than real hospitality. Suddenly, the whole staff came alive—busboys cleaning, the server reappearing—because the manager was watching. But once he left, it was back to neglect. Even at the end, our server refused to refill our water. No apology. No real effort to make things right. Just pulled out his handheld payment device, processed our bill, and walked away. I think the expectation was because he was standing there, I'd be pressured into tipping him the suggested 20-25%. There was a 15% discount applied to our $68.35 check, totaling $11.32—but that small comp did not begin to make up for the lack of care and the unsanitary experience. Date of visit: May 24, 2025 Check #275 | Table 17 | Server: Jameel G.

Delicious Mexican food

By CMOMOM |

The guacamole was so delicious, we ate here twice in five days! We thoroughly enjoyed the queso, as well. The service was excellent, and the ambiance quite nice. We had been missing good Mexican food (we're from Texas), and this hit the spot in a big, big way. Highly recommend it!

Great Mexican Restaurant

By Lizzie Explorer |

I recently visited Agave Azul With my family. I enjoyed the modern atmosphere, the friendly staff and the great food. I had the Margarita Chicken. I will definitely go back to try other dishes on their menu.

The Absolute Best

By Kelly C. |

Service. Drinks. Food. Everything was absolutely excellent. I'm glad I don't live in town, or else I'd probably end up here every day! Will absolutely go out of my way to come back next time I'm in town. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!

Another Gem! Especially after park visit!

By Bill G |

We were looking for some real food after visiting Universal Studios all day. Then we stumbled into this place. It was great from the tortilla soup to the margaritas. Toss in some carnitas with rice and beans. All were delicious and just what we needed. Worth hitting when in Orlando near The parks!

Good food, great service!

By Fredrique G |

Great service, and good food and drinks! The fish in the fish tacos were a little salty, and the shrimp in the mojo shrimp could have actually used some of those tacos’ salt, but everything else (shrimp burrito) was delicious. Yesenia was an excellent waitress - very friendly, attentive, and warm!

Best Mexican food in Orlando

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Orlando. It’s not even close. It is always fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend

Excellente

By MrsHodor |

My only experience with Mexican food is what we've cooked from home from a cookbook. Everything here was great! We had six different mains and all loved them. Chicken and shrimp quesadillas were delicious! Five stars.

Salsa Nightmare

By GreyTravelor |

Where to start....My wife and I were in town visiting our son and his girlfriend. They were excited about taking us out to Agave (our treat). Our server was was sweet but not skilled. We received our appetizers and dinner before our drinks. The food was typical mall mediocre Mexican which is OK since we're in Mickey land. All would have been fine if the waitress had not overstocked our dishes when cleaning the table dumping two half full salsa dishes on the floor sending red sauce all over my son's pants and brand new Converses which were stained and ruined. A disaster but accidents happen. The waitress was apologetic and the staff cleaned up but to my dismay management was unresponsive. Rather than an offer to pickup or reduce a $200 bill or pay for dry cleaning, crickets. My son thought that he could clean up the shoes but after a salvage operatio back home, the salsa left an orange tint on the white surfaces. Not a good look. While I respect ny son's decision not to make a fuss, I remain upset that management stood by without an offer to make even the smallest of amends. So, if you like mall food and good Mojitos, this is the place unless you get showered in salsa.

Weigh the food.

By Emi T |

Very bad food service, wise meat, bad smell, very wet rice, in another dish, the meat season was sweet and at the same time spicy, also the meat had a very bad taste, it was bad taste, everything was bad and the delay was an hour to bring the food, the service was not very good, I do not recommend this lousy restaurant, in everything we went with my family, very badly we wanted to vomit, the living room had a very bad smell, it was the worst way to get there.

OMG

By Jackew |

Well two years in a row and gets better everyone time. If we lucky enough to visits Universal Studios again, we will make it again!

Birthday Dinner

By Carolyn Vega-Melendez |

My family and I were able to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday at this restaurant. A party of 20, they placed us in their private room and were assigned an amazingly attentive waitress by the name of Dulce. We thank her and the restaurant for the wonderful service and the great food and drinks.

Great dinner

By NOTOLD |

Great dinner! Stopped here a few years ago and had dinner, returned again and the food was just as good as the last time I was there!

The food is excellent and the attention amazing, the Margarita of patch very good

By Sightsee06708978248 |

Very good service and excellent service, food and excellent prices 👌 rich really, no delays , really excellent service

Lunch prices half of evening prices!

By David H |

First off the atmosphere was on point, compared to traditional Mexican restaurants setting it’s a step up. We stopped by because we wanted good food and had 4 kids with us trip advisor said it was #2 in the area we were at. Well looking on trip advisor the menu price it looked ok. When we get there the menu price was different. Trip advisor only shows the lunch menu naughty, naughty trip advisor. We stayed anyway. No way our kids eat full entrees, so we ordered a 2 Tamale plate with rice beans, three enchiladas, two nacho plates guacamole, jalapeño, and sour cream. We ordered one nacho with meat on the side because we have 1 vegetarian. They put chicken and ground beef on the tacos he looked before he ate so we sent that back and they gave him a new one. Food looked beautiful. I knew we were gonna stay after I tried the chips and salsa. The salsa was slamming no bitter after taste. The tamales were moist and came with red and green sauce. The enchiladas were cheese, chicken, beef, came with side of guacamole, and enchilada sauce on the side. They made them look classy. The guacamole was great. The enchilada sauce was so good they could make a drink of it. I’ll make it a point to come by for lunch. You just have to try this place. The bill was $56 for four plate and fed 6 easy. Only water to drink. ?Yes on a budget!

Had to wait an hour for seating but it was worth the wait

By Richard G |

Group of 7 on a Friday night, After an hour of waiting we were seated The service was attentive and excellent. The food was excellent and the serving sizes were large. If you are in the area and like "Mexican" food this is a must try place You have the option to eat inside or on the patio. They also offer free valet parking.

Absolutely delicious!

By Shea S |

Agave is my all-time favorite Mexican restaurant. Absolutely beautiful interior decorations with delicious food. The servers are all so kind and the service is QUICK. 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Best Mexican Food in Orlando

By 7rave1er |

First, the frozen house margaritas are blue and strong. Order 2 at your own risk. The stuffed jalapenos are an excellent appetizer but can vary from mild to super spicy. But order them anyway. The cheese, chicken or beef enchiladas are authentic Mexico. And the spinach or shrimp enchiladas are a delicious twist. Then there are the tacos. If you can't find some you like, you don't like tacos. But I think my favorite dish is the Mahi Fernandez.

WOW SO GOOD! DIANA IS THE BEST!

By Jerichicks123 |

Had a delicious meal and fabulous service! The owner stopped by our table and our waitress was attentive and kind! It felt like we were sitting at their home! The food was EXCELLENT. 5 stars.

A Mexican Delight Close to Universal Studios

By Johnny |

The place is packed with people like us looking for a delicious Mexican treat, we found it. The restaurant is spacious and vibrant. We were welcomed with a big smile and swiftly were shown to our table. The server was very attentive and efficient throughout our dinner. The food was delicious and the portions were reasonable. Overall a great experience and it is close to Universal Studios where we were staying.

Great food and awesome service

Great food and awesome service , Thanks Luis for your attentions. Recommended , ask for Luis , great server!

Great Mexican

By KevinL41872 |

So, great! I've been here before and did not review it at the time, but I'm happy to now. What a great place. Definitely, an upbeat vibe welcomes you to this traditional and new style Mexican restaurant. Very lively music and colors within the restaurant, although the bathroom is all black. It is interesting :). Guacamole here is very good. Chips and salsa pair nicely. I have eaten the birria brisket 2x and love them. Little Pacifico to wash it down. Prices are good, service is okay and food taste was great. Definately recommended.

Don’t go during busy hours

By Leonardo |

My title is that because I wait ed in line for 45 minutes to wait another 45 minutes for my food. The food was pretty good, just don’t go at it’s busiest or you’ll have an experience just like mine, don’t ruin it for yourself, y’all stay safe.

Great food and experience. Excellent and quick service, their Margaritas are awesome, made with fresh ingredients. The food is all amazing.

The best Mexican restaurant ever

By Melafont |

I was given the name of this restaurant years ago by my cousin who lived in Orlando. It is by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I dream of the guacamole at this restaurant. The margaritas are made from scratch and are the best I’ve ever had. There is generally a long wait here especially on the weekends but it’s worth it.

Excellent food and service.

By Shelly |

Excellent food and service. Our wait staff were very attentive and informative, our waiter recommended the carnitas and we were not disappointed. The pork was tender and flavorful. The salsa was also superb. We highly recommend the carnitas platter.

Must eat there and try “birria”.

By Sergio C |

Family was so hungry, after too many hours traveling we need something to eat, we found this restaurante In TripAdvisor, certainly has a very hood rank. Excellent choice, food was delicious, service expedite, reasonable prices. Nice menu and drinks. Clean. You must go…

Amazing food

By NOTOLD |

Great service, friendly staff, clean and modern look with great lighting. Found this by searching for Mexican restaurants near me, and it did not disappoint. One of the best steak burritos, Food was hot and service was fast. It filled in quickly with patrons. Loved the spoon in the queso dip.

Very Good Seafood Choices!!

By hsbvim |

Our server said "It must be seafood night!" when the three of us each chose a seafood dish at Agave Azul. We dined on a weeknight and were lucky to be able to get outdoor seating on a very pleasant evening. My wife ordered the Yucatan Shrimp Tacos, and I ordered Mahi Fernandez (Center Cut Mahi • Serrano Lime • Blackened Shrimp • Guacamole • Cilantro Rice • Black Beans • Salsa De Arbol). We both thought our dishes tasted fresh and delicious. We would highly recommend either, although I would be partial to the latter, because the cook on the mahi was outstanding. Service was a little off, but it could have been due to them being fairly busy that evening. All in all, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.

Exceptional Fresh Food

By Casey722 |

First time here and definitely won’t be our last! Our server Carolina gave us fantastic recommendations. We had a Jalapeño appetizer, Monterey Tacos and a Chimichanga. The steak in our tacos was exceptional with a crust on the outside and juicy inside. Everything from the guacamole, salsa, etc. was very fresh and seemed to be made from scratch. Would highly recommend eating here.

Needs some personal management.

By MagicKirin |

I went there for dinner and sat at the bar. The portions were small compared to most Mexican restaurants that I have been to. For some reason the server did not give me chips and salsa although others did get. it.

Flavorful food and yummy drinks!!

By Areliz R |

My family and I Loved the great speedy friendly service and amazing flavorful food. And the Frozen Margarita wow... Great spot!!

Strange decor

By Gladtobethere |

The decor is a conversation point and has little to do with the excellence of this eatery. Never found such fantastic Mexican food; every dish out standing. Could not be more impressed with the food and also the generous pour of tequila straight up.

WOW! SO, So good

By michigander311 |

Another great job by previous TripAdvisor reviewers. We were staying in Clermont and faced the traffic to find this restaurant. We were immediately seated and well cared for during our visit. The chips and salsa were very good. The Ceviche was Absolutely spot on and delicious. We each had a different entree, and there were no complaints. Huge servings, and great decor too! I've eaten a lot of Mexican food, all around the country, and this is certainly worth several return visits. Fully wheelchair accessible, but a little tight in some spots, due to the popularity of the place. We did have to ask one gentleman to move his chair a bit, and no concerns, everybody was in a good mood with all the great food!

Okay, no need to repeat

By skd22 |

It was very cold and loud in the restaurant so we chose to sit outside even though it wasn't very warm the evening we dined. Our waitress was very friendly, from Brazil, and gave recommendations of things to try. Our drinks were good. The food was ok, nothing exceptional. They were very busy. We did notice a couple outside wait for at least 15 minutes for an Uber. If you don't have a car, this might be an issue.

Delicious!

By Chloe Thomas |

Agave Azul is better than your topical Mexican restaurant! The guacamole is out of this world and so is the chicken taco salad. Loved being able to sit outside.

Exquisite Daisies

By carmenarrietau |

The classic cocktail margaritas are very good. I ate a divine salad. My friends ate tacos. Excellent service. We went Wednesday. Too bad it closes early.

Food is always good

By Sandi B |

We love to come to Agave Azul every time we come to Orlando to visit our nephew. It has become our tradition. The food is very good! The portions are very generous and you certainly don't leave hungry! Atmosphere is casual, yet nice. Service is very good and waitstaff is attentive.

5☆ Lunch

By Not Karen |

Expected the food to be good, but it was delicious!! Best Mexican food and service!! Sorry no pictures, we were hungry. We had the Jalapeno appetizer, very tasty. Our Entrees were Spicy Chorizo tacos and Enchiladas Verde. Best Chorizo I have ever had this side of South Texas! Chicken enchiladas were perfectly prepared and amazing flavor! Dont miss the hot picante. Cant wait to come back!

Food hit or miss

By pamey25 |

Mixed reviews so wanted to try for myself. Sat outside even though it was hot they do have multiple fans going so you don’t even feel it. I got the tostadas tinga and it was gross the chicken was watered down with no favor at all so didn’t even eat that(did take it off the bill). My husband got the quesadilla Vercruz which was good so I ate some of his with the chips and salsa that they give you. My kids enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. Drinks were good! Service was great! So overall depends on what you order I guess but wouldn’t go back there are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in Orlando!!!

The Carnitas are a Revelation!

By Jennifer S |

This was a hidden treasure in a strip mall and desert of chains. We asked the front desk for a recommendation. They asked our preferences, we replied "just good food". That's what we got. We've gone back on each trip to Orlando since, not to mention recommended to others heading south. It's behind the Chick-fila. Don't miss out!

Delicious tacos!

By Keep_A_Happy_Wife |

The food was absolutely delicious. My wife had the group tacos and I had the birria tacos. Both were fantastic and full of flavor. I had the basis margarita and it was good (not great). Chips and salsa were outstanding. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable but worked the upsell pretty hard. All in all, I’d highly recommend.

Wonderful Restaurant and Food

By Rich F |

Fantastic Mexican meals and excellent cocktails. The Chicken tortilla soup is a must, and the Carnitas are my go-to meat meal. Service is very courteous and prompt.

Wonderful food and service!

By TK |

Visited the restaurant at the Kirkman road location. What an excellent experience! Food and service were wonderful! Ate at an outdoor table. For appetizers we had the chips and queso w ground beef and a shrimp ceviche—great! Main entrees: Husband had carne asada, my son and I had tacos—-me steak, him shrimp. All were excellent! Prices were great and service was exceptional! We will be back!

Very disappointed

By Carrie S |

Being a local and regular at this restaurant I was highly disappointed when a group of friends and I visited for a birthday dinner. I went to my server (that you can tell was stretched thin) to ask if they could bring out a birthday dessert that I would gladly pay for. When nothing came we went to another server and informed them, again nothing came. FINALLY I went to a manager and nothing. A manager! What kind of restaurant forgets to bring out a simple dessert after informing half the staff? We will not be back.

Really good food, really great service, zero COVID safety precautions

By aplamo |

The staff was excellent - warm, knowledgeable, friendly. The food was very good - (refried beans are definitely home made and excellent, mole sauce was very good which is rare, even had some unusual/cool fusion options). But if you have any concerns about COVID, I would strongly suggest you wait until you’re comfortable going to a place with zero precautions. No masks for staff, no distancing, didn’t even offer hand sanitizer at the door. Coming from out of state, we were really surprised.

Excellent service and food

By Taisha V |

First time going to this restaurant and definitely going back again the food was excellent and the service was great loved the vibes and the music , great job !

Great experience

By Katie H |

Exceptional Mexican food. Best I have ever had! Friendly staff, neat atmosphere and will definitely go back when I m in Orlando again.

Terrible service

By Matt W |

My family has patronized this location at least two times every month for a couple of years. Most of the time, food is on point and service is good. However, yesterday it was terrible. Wife's food was cold and mine was not even what I ordered. This after waiting a very long time. Since our server was missing in action, another floor attendant got a supervisor. He basically apologized say he had new people. I get that part but don't let "new" people on the floor w/o someone shadowing them. LOCAL Customers pay for an "expected" level of service and food quality. You did NOT deliver yesterday.

Best Margaritas Ever!!!

By Delores H |

Loved this upscale Mexican restaurant. The margaritas were excellent! Chips and salsa was extremely tasty! I had a grilled chicken meal with guac and salsa and tortillas. So so good. The service was excellent. Atmosphere was trendy. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. When we go back to Florida we will definitely head back to Agave Azul!!!

A Good Taste of Mexico!

By citizen0103 |

First, our server Andrea was super nice! The place doesn’t have an authentic Mexican feel, but the food is very Good. The friend calamari was delicious. One of the best. The guacamole was fresh and had a lot of flavor. We had the carnitas tacos and the whole plate was delicious! Looking forward to going back!

Dinner

Ate here our first night at Universal Studios. Typical Mexican restaurant with some outdoor seating in a strip mall setting. We took a Lyft from our hotel as the roads in this area don't seem "pedestrian friendly". Very quick service. Prices reasonable.

Excellent Experience and Food

By Todd F |

We had family in from out of town and were looking for a new place to dine. We found Agave Azul from an internet search, and went because of the good reviews we found. We were NOT disappointed! The food was excellent, the drinks were very good and the staff was super friendly. The Manager even came to our table to be sure we were having a good time. We have already decided that the next time we have guests, we are taking them here.

Great restaurant in Orlando!

This restaurant was superb! The food was delivered quick and very good! In fact- delicious! Atmosphere was great and service was one of the best! Definitely a 5 star restaurant!

Best margaritas in town

By Naomi P |

Really wanted to gatekeep this restaurant longer, but it’s already popular with 3 other locations across Orlando. Best margaritas in town and delicious food.

Excellent food.

By bjmilligan8 |

Tried this restaurant with the family. The food was authentic Mexican. Best I have had in years. Service was fast and efficient. We were quickly seated even on a Friday night. Would highly recommend this place.

Unforgettable!

By EdinOrlando |

We lived in Texas for 10 years, and I’ve travelled in Mexico for business and pleasure perhaps 30 or 40 times. It means I’ve had plenty of opportunity to experience excellent and not so good Mexican and TexMex food. After trying several so called “Mexican” restaurants in our 24 years in Orlando, several years ago we chose Agave Azul (Metrowest) as our “go to” place both for the good food and the pleasant ambiance. That’s all in the past. A couple of months ago we went went with friends and found the renovated store impossibly loud. I decided to deviate from my usual Mahi Fernandez and ordered something that turned out to be an inedible concoction in a bowl. We, along with the same friends, gave the Agave a second chance today. Big mistake. The noise level was unbearable, and although under threat of leaving, they seated us in a side room with only two other patrons and no piped-in music, we could still hardly have a conversation. The food. We found a totally new menu with no Mahi Fernandez. It has been dropped, the apologetic server said. So my wife and I opted to share an order of Fajitas. Now, you can’t ruin Fajitas, right? Fajitas is one of the simplest dishes in TexMex cuisine. Thin strips of marinaded steak meat, grilled, and served with roasted green papers and caramelizad onions. It usually comes with pico de gallo, frijoles refritos and guacamole on the side, to mix to one’s taste in a rolled-up tortilla. Did I say that no one could ruin fajitas? Wrong! The meat was as tough as it could be. It was smeared with an indescribable, unpalatable sauce. The usual add-ons plus some grated cheese came on a salad size plate. There was no more than a spoonful of each item. And the tortillas? We were served 3! Yes, 3 tortillas, and when I asked for more we were charged for them. I really can’t go on. What a horrendous experience! However, the place was full: go figure!

To Go Fave

By Suz Travels Where The Food Is Fab |

We were stuck in for the night and decided to order for delivery. It was superb! Everything was packaged well, made to order, and arrived warm. The soup was a bit on the garlic side, but was filled with veggies and flavor. The enchiladas were so good, saucy and fresh. The flautas were cooked perfectly, stuffed with moist chicken. The tacos were excellent!

Very good food and interior design

By Joe R |

I had the margarita chicken and it was very good. The interior design was very nice and I actually really liked the bathroom. It was clean and had a lockable door. The staff was really nice and our server Camila was very helpful and pleasant. The chips and guacamole were also good

Return visit

By Rgbox |

Couldn’t fault this place. Had a meal here when we visited in October 18, really enjoyed it once again, tequila chicken & chicken with spinach enchiladas and the margaritas lovely. The chips & salsa they give you when you arrive is a nice touch the salsa is really good

Amazing

By Helen T |

Wow! Awesome meal and great service. A true gem of a restaurant. The food is authentic and margaritas are really good. Great family place.

After Universal

By danimal_002 |

We visited Agave Azul Cocina Mexicana after a day at Universal Studios. The food was excellent. After we sat down we immediately got chips and salsa. We were almost finished with our chips before our waitress came by and brought water and took our drink order. It took another 10 minutes before she brought our beer and margaritas. She was very nice but was not a very good waitress. That is why I didn’t give this restaurant 5 stars.

Excellent from start to finish

By Travellingdoc |

Came across this place by chance. Sat outside as there are gas warmers. Had the casa agave which was massive and tasted great. The La Flaca was good, slightly on the sweater side. The ceviche Crudo was excellent and light- Fresh and nice blend of taste. The Chicken tacos was good the very nice beans and rice to accompany. The Scrimp Bowl was again excellent very large size prawns and rice, beans and veg- the only time we didn’t eat was the fajita with cheese in it( was too filling). Cheesecake Frito was very good- Filo pastry with cream cheese in it, deep fried with Demerara sauce , bananas- excellent desert to have. Service was very nice as ambience.

A Must-Visit for Mexican Cuisine Lovers

By IslandGirl874 |

We had such an amazing meal at Agave Azul! To start, the chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, and the guacamole and street corn were outstanding—full of flavor and beautifully presented. For our entrees, we tried the street taqueros with carne asada and the tuna tostadas. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and bold, authentic flavors. The service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal, making the experience even better. The restaurant is a bit on the noisy side, without being to overwhelming. Overall, a wonderful dining experience—we’ll definitely be back!

We are regulars here so my review will be succinct. Good food, good service, good margaritas. Start with chips and salsa. Chips are always fresh and crisp and the salsa is good. Sometimes spicy than others, always with too many onions for my dining partner. My go to dish is the Tijuana Tostadas appetizer with carne asada. Always very good. My companion had Tex Mex Tacos and there was nothing left on the plate but some white rice and cilantro. My big margarita was worth the price. This is a good neighborhood restaurant. Nothing spectacular that I have found but value for the price.

Bring back the BURRITO LOCO!

By Lamar S |

They used to have the best burrito in Orlando. But they updated the menu and took off the Burrito Loco. I have been going here since they first open on Kirkman. They need to bring back the Burrito Loco.

Great food. Good prices.

By Rockabird |

We stopped here for lunch and it couldn't have been a better choice. We had the guacamole, veggie burrito, and tacos. We would definitely go there again!

Avoid

By Int |

Prices of food and drink is way up and QUALITY AT AGAVE FOR FOOD IS GONE DOWN. There used to have good guacamole now it’s premade and it doesn’t taste the same. I ordered agave burrito and my family ordered fajitas and in burrito has barely cheese on the top and hardly any chicken, beef was too chewy. I know there are better mom and pop Mexican restaurants you can get better food.

10/5 stars! BEST Mexican food ever!!!

By Hailie S |

If I could I would give this place 10/5 stars. We love Mexican food and are kinda snobs about it, but this is hands down the BEST Mexican food you will ever have!!! The chimichanga is DELICIOUS!!!

Date Night

By Simply Wanda |

We have been several times to Agave Azul and it never disappoints. They have recently remolded the place and it looks great. The food is authentic for a food chain and it is a perfect place for date night. Cost: $$ Service: Excellent. Food: Delicious. We had the made to order guacamole, chicken corn tacos, and enchiladas. Drinks: Reasonable priced and delicious No wait the night we went. They have outdoor seating which is perfect if the weather is not to hot.

Good food, reasonable prices, nice outdoor seating

By Reviewer_name |

We were staying at Universal and wanted to eat dinner outside the parks. We found Agave Azul a short drive away. It's tucked into a stripmall so depending on which way you come into the lot you may need to drive around a bit to find it. It was worth the effort though. We sat outside. Service was friendly and reasonably attentive. Food was very tasty from the burrito to their specialties. We liked it so much we ate there again the next night.

Authentic with a modern twist. Manny is amazing!!

By Araisk |

The service is top notch the moment you walk through the door. Manny was very knowledgeable about the menu as well as the drink. The chicken tinga tostadas are spectacular as well as the passion fruit margarita. Will definitely be back!!

Wonderful authentic food!!

By David C |

We found this place thanks to TripAdvisor. Ignore the negative comments about the decor, etc. I would rather have great food and a dated atmosphere than a snappy interior and horrible food. They have a good selection of tequila. Anyone that comes here and complains about the wine selection should try going to an Italian restaurant and ask about their tequila selection. We will definitely return next time we are in town.

Excellent food, and lovely staff.

By jacqueline s |

Lovely restaurant. The decor is classy, the server was very helpful and friendly, and the food amazing! All very tasty, excellent portions, and great value.

Awesome Food!! Great Place. Very Poor Customer Service.

By Go Couple Travel |

Awesome Food!! Love the place and Vibes. Unfortunately very poor Customer Service starting when they greet you at the entrance and from the server. (Not from all of the Staff) It was our first time visiting with my family and we were very disappointed by the person who greet us at the entrance. Just because of that I had a bad taste all night. Food was so Great though. Server seems to be nice, but not with very good Customer Service either. 😟

Great Mexican food

By sfchang |

I can’t say if it is authentic or not, but based on people eating there and the crowd on a Tuesday evening, it was really really good food. We had chimichangas, mole enchiladas, and tamales. They were all great tasting and so filling. The corn chips with salsa that was provided as snacks were so good! Margaritas! Very nice! Waiter was was also very helpful, friendly and so nice. This place is only a short drive from Universal. Was told the area is not that safe, but it doesn’t look like it from the outside and the surrounding shops. Better be safe anyway!

Excellent Staff

By Taze |

Agave is a nice Mexican Restaurant, with authentic recipes, not Tex Mex. The prices are good and the portions decent, we had chicken tortilla soup which was a little sweet for too much tomato was added, fried shredded beef tacos, were really good, mixed fajitas of chicken, shrimp and beef were ok. The meat was not so soft. The mixed drinks are very good. Recommended for families or couples, its clean, nicely decorated and the staff is very nice, there's a lady from Honduras, one from Venezuela and Leandro the Cuban Bartender.

Only outside seating due to Covid restrictions

By kelchick |

This restaurant is in a plaza so there’s nothing nice about sitting on the sidewalk in 95 degree weather under a canopy. Salsa and chips were complimentary. We had the $7 queso dip which was white like Velveeta cheese Don’t bother. We both had the $16 Chile relleno and it was ok. There were two egg washed rellenos with the usually yelllow rice and beans. They have draft beer but we were told the taps weren’t working. No happy hour. There are lots of other places to try like Roccos Tacos or Chuys which are better

Best guacamole EVER!

By Brenda S |

Best guacamole EVER! And incredibly good food all around. Their salsa is delicious, tacos are superb (hubs had al pastor), love the chicken enchiladas, and the service was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

Great food!

By Robin L |

We went to the airport location. We were staying at a nearby hotel with shuttle service to this restaurant. Food, margaritas and service were excellent! We had the Birria tacos and shrimp quesadilla.

Fantastic food!

By Roland M |

The most authentic Mexican restaurant in the Orlando area. Not only the food is great but the price is very reasonable. Be prepared to find the place packed of people.

Impressed

By awesom35 |

We visited this restaurant straight from Yelp for mother’s day. The reviews were mixed, but those who have it a 5 were on the spot. Great service, great meals, drinks & atmosphere. We had a Margarita & Mule. We also had Ceviche Mahi appetizer , Mahi tacos & salmon asado. The salmon did lack a bit of flavor, yet the tacos & Ceviche were amazingly tasty. The decor & atmosphere are chic, the bar is cool & the bathrooms are clean & greatly decorated. Although this Restautant is out of our way, we are certain to return.

Nice place, good service, good food. Mexican restaurant with a little of a sports bar, large selection of liquor.

Terrible Service

By Kristie C |

Host does not have a clue what is going on. Hardly anyone speaks english. Laz is a terrible manager and can't handle his staff.

Not plastic Mexican from a national restaurant chain.

By William E |

Occasionally I'd rate this a 5, but the service can sometimes really slip. Often the servers don't speak English well enough to really understand what you're trying to say. The food--WONDERFUL!!! Some of the best Carnitas I've ever eaten. Fajitas are devine. Chicken Tortilla soup is a meal unless you stay with the smaller portion. Chips are never greasy, and HOT salsa is available if you and your tender gringo lips can stand the heat. We've eaten here many, many times. It's been recently remodeled, they've added more tables for outside dining, and it is always immaculately clean, including the restrooms. They have a full service bar and serve a giant Margarita that could serve as a fish bowl for a half dozen gold fish. Oh, and I neglected to say that the majority of diners are usually not gringos but rather hispanic...which tells me everything I need to know about a Mexican restaurant.

Very Good Value Family Mexican

By Blueday500 |

I hope I am reviewing the new restaurant in Winter Garden 34787 as it hasn’t been open for long but is very busy always. Mexican food style is very good with large portions and friendly service. Prices are reasonable and the building is new and very clean and nice to sit in. There is also a large amount of outside tables which I recommend if it isn’t too hot. Busy car park but spaces available. Not sure they needed to add the Valet parking for a family market Mexican restaurant but it’s a trend and I just don’t think it’s necessary for valet to take up unused spaces which just makes it harder to park

Perfect

By mail4cindyr |

Every aspect of the experience was well thought out. The decor is cute and mixes traditional tile/ brick with modern mirrors and paintings. The street corn was delicious and had a citrusy zest to it. The goat cheese stuffed jalapeños were also wrapped in bacon. They offered a great balance with a bit of heat and balsamic glaze. The chicken mole enchiladas were tender and packed with shredded chicken. The mole sauce was thick and chocolates. The birria tacos were tender and served with a fresh consumme for dipping. It was a wonderful meal that left no room for dessert!

Highly overrated - wouldn't go back...

By Cohibaba |

Brought 7 of us for dinner - menu selection is broad as well as drink and margarita selection. However, prices were high and drinks were mostly ice. Ambiance is more like a quick sit-down Mexican food diner than fine eating establishment. Food seemed hurriedly put together and without presentation. Dinner entree's were haphazardly made, and many of ours were cold upon arrival. This is even after having to wait more than 30 min for our food.... After requesting assistance, manager never came to rectify situation. Don't waste your time here - there are MANY other better Mexican restaurants in Orlando...

Best ever

By JW2715 |

Went to the one in Winter Park. Good vegetarian options. Only problem is they charge way too much for sodas. Alternative is to order water. Food is terrific!

Good food and quick service

By kpb2424 |

After a long drive from Atlanta, this was a great find. Service was fast and we enjoyed the carne asada tacos, carnitas, nachos and enchiladas. The salsa served with tacos was perfect and spicy! Some outdoor seating which would have been nice but we didn’t want to wait. We will definitely be back!

Great place for eat and relax with a good margarita

By Jafar C |

This is a excellent choice for people that loves Mexican food and drinks as well, highly recommended the carnitas. The service is excellent and the place super cool

Good food GREAT price

By andyboz1970 |

By far one of the best places to get a good taste of Hispanic food. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. I highly recommend the chicken and rice bowl!!! Only issue I have is they didn’t have my go to Tequila Casa Noble Anejo (or the extra Anejo) they had the Blanco and Respisado but not my Anejo. No worries I hope to see it there next time I visit. Looking forward to the one opening out in Windermere, that way I can walk home after a few Pacifico’s and Casa Noble Anejos. Hahaha

Delish Mexican meal quality food & drinks!

By Racquel Bialik U |

Amazing food, atmosphere & service!! Carlos was our waiter and he was great! Birria tacos were delish!! Will be back ASAP!

Great spot, don't miss. Hidden Gem!

By Louco1999 |

Old Fashioned was delicious and on point! Spinach Portabello Enchilada's was fantastic! Highly recommend. The service was great too. Love the atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Enjoy!

Agave Azul Review. Recommended

By R M |

The food and the service was amazing. I ordered birria tacos and it was delicious. I truly recommend this place if you’re looking for Mexican food.

Great food and margaritas. Too noisy!!!!

By Hugh G |

We have been to the Winter Park location twice. The food and margaritas are very good. The problem is it is impossible to carry on a conversation with out shouting. This is not our idea of a relaxed conversation. Seating outside its best when the weather is good. It would very easy to solve this problem by adding soft sound absorbing materials on walls and ceiling. We could be regular customer if this issue was resolved.

Should be number 1 on Trip Advisor

By RealChefReviewer |

Wanted to find a place away from the tourist traps. This place was amazing! Food was perfect in every way. Can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in Orlando.

Very nice dinner

By Kim |

We had a wonderful dinner (with delicious margaritas!) with our family last week. We all split the special which had grilled octopus, salmon, shrimp and veggies. Super delicious and very nice service and presentation. The margaritas were delicious, too. It wasn't cheap, but it was good.

Love this place!

By MikeyMikeyATL |

Run! Don't walk to this awesome Mexican restaurant. The food was stellar and the drinks were awesome. Angel at the bar was just an amazing bartender and Julio had such charm.

Terrible Food & Service

By GirlSGM |

First of all, it's the most I've ever paid for Mexican food. The food was the worse I've had. My enchiladas were ground beef & it reminded me of sloppy joe texture. But it didn't taste anywhere near as good. 2nd of all, our server never checked on us during our meal. Our food was cold. So disappointing. 3rd, Thankfully, we are only visiting and don't have to worried about authentic Mexican food. Paying $4.00 for an unsweetened ice tea, are u kidding me. The value for the money just isn't there.

Used to be good - Not any more!

By Bulldog R |

Our family used to come here 3-4 times a month. We had not been in awhile, so we decided to go. They have redecorated and the décor looked very nice. They sat us right away (about 9pm on a Thursday) as it was not too crowded. Someone brought us chips and salsa but then we waited 15 minutes and no one came. A large table of 8-10 sat down at the table beside us and they received drinks and were giving their order. I went to the front and asked what we needed to do to get waited on. The young man said he would get someone. As i walked back our waitress (Valencia) showed up. She took our drink orders and left. Very curt and very short. We also asked for queso and guac. She came back with the queso and half our drink order. I asked for the other drinks and she said she forgot but would bring them back with the guac. She came back about 10 minutes later with the kids drinks and guac. She took our order. again, no smiles, no friendliness at all. Very cold. A server came with our food about 10 minutes later. Way too fast for fresh food. My daughter's cheeseburger was upside down on her plate. My burrito was microwaved (burning hot on inside and lukewarm on outside. My son's refried beans were lukewarm also. Valencia came back by when we were done and asked how the food was and if we needed refills. Our kids got a refill. The food has went down hill, the customer service was awful, and i see why it was not busy. With the change in the décor, so went the prices and changes to the menu. I would not go back. They have lost a local customer in me and everyone i talk to. Very disappointing.

Great food - loud atmosphere

By Brian S |

Food was amazing, it was just loud inside the restaurant so we moved outside and it was delightful - fajitas were amazing and Salsa tasted freshly made

Fresh food and drinks. Great service.

By Arstrazz |

Loved the bar staff at our visit. Our bartender made good tequila and drink recommendations for us and the team worked so well together to take care of everything. Drinks were fresh and delicious as was the food. Would definitely visit more if we were local!

First time visit

By eshaynes |

First time we went but it won’t be the last time. We loved the guacamole and chips so delicious. Also had the watermelon margarita (Rico Suave!) and it was the best I ever had! I had the chimichangas and husband had the shrimp enchiladas. The portion included salad and rice and we were both very satisfied with the quality and freshness. Great service and a super nice atmosphere inside where we sat along a really cool “waterfall wall”. There was also an outside area with several tables under cover. The bar looked very adequately stocked with various tequilas and was a nice size. Overall this was a fantastic experience!

Good Option for Mexican Food

By Mark C |

In the mood for Mexican on a wet Florida evening. The decor and ambiance threw us off as there is a need to upgrade. Tape covering holes in seats, dirty carpet... we were concerned but hungry. Guacamole Fuego was supposedly hot, there was flavor perhaps more heat would have been nice. The food: Mexican Burrito, Chicken and Spinach Enchiladas along with Chipotle Chicken were all good. Prices very reasonable - family friendly. Wine list was limited, better selection of beer. Service was pleasant and efficient.

Authentic Mexican food

By trendyn51372 |

Excellent food! I had a burrito with shrimp & it was smothered in queso. Delicious! The service was good too!

Really good!

By screened |

The food here was some of the my favorite while on vacation. The service was also good. I would eat here all the time if I lived in the area.

Place is a bit loud with music, food and service is great!

By Vlovetotravel |

The place has LOUD music and if you are looking for not so loud music go elsewhere. We were seated in far end of the restaurant and it was tolerable. I asked the wait staff if it could be lowered and they said No. Ambiance: 5/5 Food: Delicious Presentation:5/5 Waitress: her name was Alexis and Excellent service . Owner also came and enquired if we were satisfied with our food and service. Wait time for food: Acceptable normal wait. We ordered chicken fajitas No steak and tres leches for desert. Both dishes were delicious.

So good!

By Shannon |

Our family ate at Agave Azul based on reviews and it did not disappoint! The 4 of us were seated right away, even though they were rather busy. I don't remember the specific dishes we had but everything we had was so good! Even the frozen strawberry margarita was delicious! Service was good, atmosphere was nice enough for date night but not so fancy that we felt out of place with our 2 kids. My only complaint is that it was freezing inside! Seriously, we ate and got out of there! oh well....I'd go back, but might bring a sweater next time!

Great service, excellent food,

By Pabony |

Great service, excellent food, best Mexican restaurant in Florida. Staff very friendly and informative in regards to the menu. Highly recommended If your coming to Orlando and want to have Mexican Food.

Great experience - would definitely recommend

By cindy M |

Excellent food. Enjoyed the enchiladas mole, chicken and spinach enchiladas, mahi tacos and ahi seviche stack. Great margaritas and churros for dessert

Remodeled & Beautiful

By crackers11 |

The newly remodeled restaurant looks amazing! The food is just as amazing as ever! We have always recieved great service. Great options for for vegetarians.

Mystified by good reviews

By oldskoollondon |

Sought this place out on the back of great reviews. Inside was too cold, outside where we sat was a bit depressing. Service was unfriendly and food was deeply average. Kids quesadillas tasted weird and the chimichanga was just a slop. This isn’t ‘modern Mexican’ as per some of the reviews; this is basic, poor Tex Mex in a below average setting.

Go for appetizers and cocktails only

By TNMoniz |

This started out really promising. We had some amazing appetizers- guac was yummy, street corn was delicious and the jalapeños wrapped in bacon were mouth watering. We washed all of this down with a selection of freshly made margaritas. Then the main courses came and they were so disappointing - felt like Taco Bell quality food. Would go again for apps and drinks but would skip the mains all together. Fajitas were bland, enchiladas were lack luster and the carne asada was super dry.

Lunch with Friends

By Bill S |

A fantastic find. The food was great and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We came in for a late lunch and they let us linger afterwards to talk.

Great place to get some delicious Mexican food!

By Steven C |

Family went here based on TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed! The guacamole was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal. My kids, who can be quite picky, finished all their food and loved it. The service was great too. We wish we wouldn't have waited until our last night in Orlando to eat there, because we would have went back for sure!

Great place to eat while visiting Universal Studios

By Hvacguy77 |

Visited Universal Studios in August 2019 and found this restaurant which was about a 10 min drive away. Food was amazing, good portions, and staff was exceptional. So good, we can back a second time before leaving. If looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, it's a must to try and won't be disappointed.

Excellent Mexican Restaurant

By Rafael C |

This restaurant is very clean. The staff is great. They serve you with great attitude. They answer any questions you have for your selection of food. The food taste great. I recommend the quesadillas, they are phenomenal. Don’t leave Orlando without visiting this restaurant if you like Mexican food.

Excellent food.

By Foster S |

Fresh clean atmosphere, pleasant staff and fantastic flavors! We will be back next time we are in the area. Excellent!!

Amazing Food!

By A and Z |

The atmosphere is modern and hip with good loud music! We ordered the Chicken Fajitas and it came with 3 flour tortillas and added extra chicken. It came with the fillings of salsa, gaucamole, shredded lettuce, Mexican flavours rice, sour cream, refried beans, etc. Honestly, the portions were huge that 3 people could have shared this. You can order extra flour tortillas when you run out for the price of $1.50. We also ordered the Mahi Fernandez and it came with a centre cut of Mahi Mahi fish with white rice and refried beans. Great dish but it could have been more excellent if we substituted the white rice and refried beans for the Mexican flavoured rice which was really moist. The food was delicious, flavourful, and authentic. For dessert, we ordered Churros which came with caramel and chocolate sauce. It was the best Churros we have ever eaten! Our server Eddie M was the best! Best service and efficient. In fact, we observed that all servers and hostesses were well organized and efficient and they were on the ball! They accept reservations of 7 people or above. Well worth coming here!

Best Mexican in Orlando

By Enrique F |

The best Food, ambiance, drinks, employees. The best kept secret of the restaurants is the manager, super friendly harder worker manager that I ever seen. Owners take notice, make sure the manager is happy$$, I will make him my business partner in a new Mexican Rest

Bird for dinner anyone?

By Amy B |

Loved the restaurant and the food is really delicious. Prices aren’t bad. But I could only give the review a 3/5 stars due to the bird they let have dinner at the restaurant. They walked right by our table with the bird on their shoulder. Literally could have pooped on my food.

Worth the Trip

By Tammy M |

Located in a strip plaza, has outdoor seating, nice lounge/bar area with high top seating. Great specials on Taco Tuesday - chips, food and Margarita all tasted great! Would definite come back.

Best Mexican food!

By BBGRL |

Everything I had was perfect! From the tamales, guacamole, flautas, to the bananas foster cheesecake ( wasn’t what I was expecting- an actual slice of cheesecake with toppings) regardless, it was excellent! I will definitely go back again and again.

Large Party

By Gpartyof3 |

We love Agave Azul! They don't take reservations or call ahead but our party of 14 was seated immediately...that was a pleasant surprise since it was a Saturday night! We had some pretty big Mexican food critics in our group and everyone loved Agave Azul. Friendly staff, great drinks, very reasonable prices!

Great dining experience!

By kirs10sambor |

We have been meaning to try this place for a while, and finally got there the other night for dinner. Wow! The food was fantastic, the restaurant is newly renovated and very clean, and the wait staff was good (very attentive) and it is well worth the value. It was a great dining experience overall and we will certainly be back.

Great Service and Delicious Food

By Olga T |

Great service by the staff, very courteous and attentive. A lot of variety in their menu and great taste. I called for reservations and accommodated our group of friends in a very nice area. Danny Manager very attentive and Valencia, server, excellent service! We'll be back for sure!

Absolutely amazing service, food, and drinks

By Dane T |

This place was amazing in every way, friendly people, great drinks and amazing food. Was down visiting friends and theme parks and wish we had a place half this good back where I am from. Everybody enjoyed all their food and the shared appetizers. It will be a must visit each time we are in the area.

An Incredible Find!

By PAboyinFL |

Discovered Agave Azul by searching food near us on a stay in Orlando. The restaurant is bright and clean, the wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. The menu offers a good selection of mexican dishes that go beyond the traditional offerings. Drinks are generous as are the food portions.

Delicious food!

By William G |

Doesn’t look like a traditional Mexican restaurant, it that is not a bad thing. Was very nice inside and had plenty of seating outside. Out waiter, and most of the others as well, seemed very distant, but they made up for it in their efficiency of getting you taken care of. As soon as a glass or plate was done, it was gone. They brought and replaced everything quickly. Food prices were good and the food was excellent. My wife had the make your own meal. She got 3 items: taco, tostada, and tamale. She loved all 3 and they were pretty big. She also got a guacamole, and while it was a little pricey, she loved it. I got the enchiladas which came 4 to a plate. One each bean, cheese, beef, and shredded chicken. Was very tasty. The chips were warm on good and the salsa was a little spicey (how I like it) and tasted great. Prices were solid. Would recommend this place.

Gracias Amigos!!!

By William E |

Agave is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Orlando. We prefer the location on Kirkman Road but have dined at all of them. The location near the airport is our least favorite. The menu is excellent. The service is usually pretty good. The bar drinks are usually quite good.

Absolutely YUM

By IzzyGentry |

I am very very picky about cultural food especially mexican. This food was flavorful, great presentation and appreciated portions. The facility was clean and beautiful. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It's family friendly. The prices were absolutely affordable. I recommend ordering Churros at the end of your meal. They have a good margarita selection. One thing I'll say was there was no reservations and they made a big deal about your entire party being present. However, we were able to get a table right away.

A must visit restaurant!

By Shanna E |

The food was amazing and the service was great. You got a lot of food for the price too making it great value for money! We were able to sit on the outdoor decking and take advantage of the warm weather without being in direct sunlight. If you are craving authentic Mexican food in Orlando, this is absolutely the place to go!

COCINA MEXICANA

By Ramesh P |

We 1st.time tried dinner over there. It was awesome start with Chips and salsa also had hot salsa which was very good.we were about 20 people and people order different things like Enchilada,Tostada,Chimmy changa but I tried Fahita Vegan that was best with nicely grilled Vegetables.

Excellent

By Rgbox |

Just love the food here, from the chips & salsa to the margarita chicken, guacamole and the margaritas just superb, not surprising this restaurant is busy even early on in the evening. Will definitely return when we visit again in October 👋🍸

Rough start but got better.

By janabm81 |

Went to Agave Azul due to the great reviews. We did not find it to live up to the hype. First, even though we were seated quickly it took my husband tracking down a manager to get a waiter after sitting there for almost 15 minutes. Now the manager and waiter were very apologetic and gave us each a drink on the house so all is forgiven there. On to the food. I ordered the Carne Asada that while cooked the way I specified it did lack seasoning and they don't put salt and pepper on the table so I just coated it in salsa and it was fine. My husband had the carnitas tacos. Now I understand they're supposed to be like street tacos so they don't come with all the fillings that others might but for the price we expected more than 3 itty bitty snack sized tacos and again the taste was average and on the bland side. Would I eat here again? Maybe. Would I order the same thing? Probably not.

Amazing Mexican food

By Alan S |

The food was excellent The chips and salsa. The burrito and the shrimp bowl. Excellent service by our waitress. Need to try

Agave Azul

By Cory B |

Amazing food and service excellent - our new favorite Mexican restaurant near Orlando Convention Centers

Delicious!

By deborah v |

The food was delicious. Atmosphere very pleasant and service excellent! I highly recommend the street corn appetizer (off the cob) and the tortilla soup. Definitely going to be a repeat

Authentic and Delicious

By Leah M |

Everything on the menu was delicious and everybody in my party was satisfied. There was nothing that wasn’t tasty. Our only criticism of this wonderful restaurant was the noise level. It’s beautifully appointed inside but with tile floors and walls and exposed ceiling- there really isn’t any sound absorber. So go for the food, not for conversation.

Lovely

By Eric C |

Great Mexican food. All dishes excellent. Service very friendly and well paced. Great variety on the menu that allows one to explore beyond the standard Mexican dishes one gets used to.

Agave Azul the place to go!!!

By Jaime V |

Had a great time at Agave Azul…… I have been in many restaurants around the world and Agave Azul stand up high as one of the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been. The food is excellent and you will realize that every dish is prepared with the best ingredients and best culinary knowledge that you can imagine and on top the service is spectacular, everybody is very attentive and friendly, make you feel a lot of love and care!!! A must place to go in Orlando for great food, drinks and new friends at AGAVE AZUL!!!!

Excellent Food and Service
