Whether you like sushi or not, the food here is awesome. Hiro and his staff at the sushi bar give excellent recommendations and the sushi they make is the best anywhere. Their chicken teriyaki and tempura are wonderful too...seasoned just right and never greasy. The hardest thing about coming here is deciding what to have...everything is good. We have been coming here for many years, and every time someone visits us, we bring them here. No one is ever disappointed.

I have eaten here 4 times now at happy hour, and the sushi is excellent! The quality is very fresh and they have very good spicy roll's. Highly recommend.

Walked in off the street without reading any prior reviews or making a reservation. The staff were courteous and helpful. I took the easy option of Shrimp tempura and Chicken Teriyaki and wasn't disappointed. Everyone in the place seemed to be getting the shrimp, but reading the reviews I understand why. I am in Rancho Bernardo relatively often on business, and will certainly make repeat visits here, and next time will be more adventurous. Akai Hana deserves its overall rating of 4.5 stars

Delicious Japanese cuisine in a nice quiet ambiance. Traditional Japanese favorites are available. I lived in Japan for 1.5 years and whenever I feel homesick, I scurry on over there for some treats. My kids love it, my husband never complains, and the service is usually good. If you have a lot of little ones, request one of the small private rooms so you don't disturb other guests. They do close early which is the only detriment.

We've been coming here about once a week for the past 10 years or so. Their combo platters with tuna or salmon, plus California sushi, plus tempura, plus salad are not only good, but an outstanding value! Their standout California sushi is made fresh with real, not fake, crab meat. It's a nice and friendly neighborhood atmosphere in Rancho Bernardo. Love their plum wine as well. Highly recommend it.

This is my 2nd visit in the past month to Akai Hana. I discovered they have a Happy Hour Mon-Fri from 5:00 - 6:30. California Rolls for $3, Spicy Crunch Roll for $7.50 (normally $11.50) and a 16 oz Sapporo beer for $3.00. Great place!

My friend recommended this sushi place to me so while we were in Rancho Bernardo we thought we would give it a try. My friends and I ordered three rolls from the menu for lunch along with a nice cup of hot tea. The waitress was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will definitely be going back.

The service and food were normal, the prices were high, but the thing that drove me crazy was the waiter, he forced me to tip them more. I have never seen such bad behavior!!!

We lived in San Diego and loved the sushi at Akai Hana. We recently were visiting and made it our first stop for food. We told Hiro san to make us whatever he wanted. He made the "best" sushi. We sit at the bar and like to watch him. It's like watching an artist create.

Great service and great sushi. The guys behind the sushi bar were very entertaining and helpful!

Looking for great lunch fare - must stop. Reasonable cost, tasty Japanese choices, good understated service. A bit hard to find in shopping center, worth the effort. Lunch "box" complete with "rolls" of choice, tempura veggies, soup, salad - practice your chopsticks technique.

Recently moved to this area and was excited to see a Japanese restaurant close by. The reviews looked good so we gave it a shot. Our first impression was that the interior seemed run down. We were seated in an awkward back room and waited for a bit to be taken care of. Food was good, but not good enough to make you forget the atmosphere. The sushi was by far the best part, even though it was just slightly above average. We will probably go back again, but will probably go straight to the sushi bar.

Been to Akai Hana three times so far, and it's always fresh and flavorful. Service was consistently good as well. It gets busy, so plan ahead. Try the hand rolls.

average, expensive too much wasabi, marginal service, in need of update. Too many better alternatives, like RB sushi and Love Boat that are better

I've never had a bad meal here. Their SX Ball is a unique and wonderful treat. The menu is extremely varied and service is terrific. I've been going there on road trips for several years and they have had the same sushi makers forever. That is part of the quality of the food.

We have been going here for 20+ years and have yet to find any place better. The rolls are tasty and innovative; the beef negima and gyoza are great appetizers; and the tempura is light and not greasy. It is hard to beat.

We have been to this restaurant only because I like the chilean sea bass and the crab stuffed mushroom appetizer. We manage to find 20% coupon that keeps us going there. This restaurant has been around for very long time. The service was ok, but the waitress forgot the appetizer ordered. They do have a private room that one can reserve for $10.

My dad has been going to this place for years, and I've been lucky enough to accompany him a few times when I was in town. I am very picky about my sushi, but this place never disappoints. The fish is obviously very fresh! One of the best chefs works at the smaller sushi bar. His stories make the experience even better, and he often brings special items back from his fishing trips. I've never been disappointed here!

Akai Hana is located in the Rancho Bernardo Plaza. The restaurant is fairly large and not fancy. There is seating at two bars for sushi. We arrived early, around 5:30 on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was already busy. We started with a small bottle of sake while we looked over the menu. There is a wide selection with lots of sushi, sashimi and tempura. We went for the tempura, shrimp and vegetables, and a teriyaki steak on the side. The food was terrific as was the service. When we left around 6:45, the waiting area was packed. Get there early or make a reservation.

We along with our friends really love sushi. Akai Hana is one of those special places where the food and service are always superior. Our first choice is usually sitting at one of the two sushi bars. But depending on the size of your group they can be easily be seated and accomodated in the dining room. The fish is super fresh with many choices coming in from Japan and other noted areas. We highly recommend this sushi restaurant for those looking for consistently high quality sushi with fine service.

Great sushi, but if you sit at Mr Nakamura's sushi bar and ask for omakase, it's easily the best sushi in all of SD. As a fisherman and sushi chef for many decades, his creations are better than any other sushi chef around (and I've eaten at most of the places on the top 30 list).

This used to be called Shien of Osaka and you can see that name as subtitle on they sign still.com do check out this reviews too. They have good sushi and cooked food. It odd probably the most established Japanese restaurant in the area and you will not get much beer unless you go to convoy area

good selection of food and also wine was very good friendly and homey feeling. sushi was excellent and good warm dishes also

We finally visited this restaurant after hearing about it and peering in the window when walking by, promising ourselves we should try it one day. Our overall outcome -- it was OK, probably wouldn't return. VERY BUSY SATURDAY, SERVICE SLOW The Saturday night we were there, they were run-off-their-feet-busy and service was slow. We waited about 10-15 mins for a table inside as it was too cold to sit outside, but there is plenty of outdoor seating. We were sat near the door, not in the most atmospheric area of the restaurant and a cold breeze was uncomfortably chilly on the knees. MENU WAS HARD TO CHOOSE FROM FOR US The menu was a little difficult for us to choose from -- they offer a lot of combinations which seemed like huge plates of food. They didn't seem to have something as simple as a salmon roll. We ordered a simple seaweed salad, a sushi roll and then a specialty roll that the table next to us had that wasn't on the menu. Turns out we didn't care for that roll as it had crunchy pieces of salmon skin. We didn't think the sushi was particularly above and beyond other places we frequent. WAITRESS WAS RUSHED OFF HER FEET The waitress was so rushed and service was slow that it made for somewhat of a tense, unpleasant, unpersonable experience. Not sure if this is often the case or we hit it on an unusually busy night. LOCAL REGULARS The tables were busy with mostly what seemed like local regulars from the surrounding RB senior community. NOT AS UPSCALE AS I'D THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE The decor is somewhat traditionally Japanese, but the restaurant felt kind of chopped up with a strange layout and not terribly aesthetically pleasing, maybe slightly dated. Plenty of parking in the strip mall. If you found this review useful, please click the thank button. Happy travels.

Here's a place with awesome sushi and excellent service. Lots of choices with fresh fish always stocked. We had the monday night roll, kitchen sink, tuna sashimi, oysters from Washington, soft shell crab and more. There is a regular menu and many specialities - just ask and your choices will be prepared. I highly recommend that you sit at one of the two sushi bars for a great experience. You will find it a memorable dinner and want to return. A true neighborhood place.

This lace has been in Rancho Bernardo for a very long time. The quality is always great, you need to make reservations at times since it is very popular and it can get packed. Service is slow on busy days but the food is always good. Family oriented and very popular for lunch. I always Enjoy this place.

My family and I have been dining at Akai Hana for years and it is consistently good. The restaurant is always clean and they allow reservations which means I have never waited for a table. The service is attentive and friendly, the prices are reasonable for the food quality and quantity and it is a very family-friendly place. If you are looking for a high-end Japanese restaurant with amazing sushi, this is not the place; however if you just want a good meal without breaking the bank, Akai Hana is the way to go! Make a reservation, even if it's the same day - this place gets busy!

The rolls were amazing, if interested in avocado and eel, I would definitely recommend the half dragon roll. the gyoza was really good too.

This sushi restaurant is the best I have found in the local area. It's my go-to place for when I want a good sushi dinner. The omakase here is great too if you're at the chef's area.

My wife and I had dinner here. This has been our favorite sushi place for a long time. I love the spicy albacore sashimi and my wife loves the tempura. The food is always fresh and the service is friendly.

We have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and it's about time that we did a review on our very favorite place to eat.... We always go to the sushi bar for dinner and have been treated to the most remarkable fresh, generous and delicious sushi anywhere! We have had the opportunity to eat sushi at Nobu in several places, Tokyo, Perth, LA...Alai Hana has them beat!!! We are thankful for the years of wonderful fish, the warm and welcoming staff and to especially to Hiro, who no longer even has to ask what we want, he makes our meal without even asking what it is that we want...he knows.

If you have a craving for some fine Asian cuisine then Akai Hana is a place you should definitely try. The sushi is delectable and the service is awesome. I've had pretty much everyrhing on the menu and now when i go I just tell the sushi what make me whatever you want and I'm never disappointed. No pressure roll rocks!

I have been coming to Akai Hana since 2007 when I am in town on business. it has always been some of the best sushi I have eaten. I have traveled many times to japan and live in Los Angeles where great sushi is everywhere. Akai Hana is on par and, if you ask the sushi chefs to make you their special private menu items, even better sometimes. Highly recommend and will be back.

See the review for Shien of Osaka. It is the same excellent restaurant with a different name. Everything here is excellent and the staff is especially friendly and knowledgeable.

The sushi here is amazing. We have been coming here for years. Sit at the sushi bar if you can or get your food to go. The service at the tables is unbelievablely bad. They expanded the restaurant to much larger than it's original size but didn't increase the kitchen. We have waited an hour for menus. But, the sushi is worth it if you sit at the bar!!!

a little pricey, but great sushi, excellent service, and nice ambience.

We visited there first time in almost four years and found they started rich happy hours from 5:00 to 6:30. We reserved a table at 6:00 and thought it was early enough to do keep a table in a week day. But the restaurant was totally full when we arrived at quoter to six. We came to know the reason why it was so popular when we saw the menu and learned about the happy hours. We ordered Otsumami and drinks from happy hours menu and those were so cheap and good enough to fill our stomach. But we decided to spend saved money to order a couple of Nigiri at market price which we'd never ordered before. We were lucky that we could make reservation though we called them one hours before.

This place has the best sushi I have been to and get the capaccio salmon it is very good. try to get a seat at the bar you get a better experience

Tip: Always call a few hours in advanced during weekends especially for dinner to make reservations as this is a very popular restaurant in Rancho Bernardo. Top notched authentic Japanese food especially sushi rolls and sashimi’s made with the freshest ingredients. Even their California rolls are made with real crab meat! (Most other places use imitation crab meat) Dinner combo’s are tasty and of good value. Portions are generous. Good service. We always have a great dining experience here.

Sushi was wondeful - fresh, well-presented and flavorful. Hot appetizers also excellent. Tried edamame (yes, it can come out wrong) which was perfectly steamed with the right amount of bite, and gyoza. Waitress more interested in discussing her personal issues with the manager than concentrating on her tables, but overall we'd go back.

even the take out presentation was great and of course, the sushi is delicious and fresh

Akai Hana has been around for a long time. They serve standard Japanese food - sushi, teriyaki, tempura etc. Nothing exciting. Food is average. Its reliable but nothing to write home about.

Amazing sushi and amazing sushi chef/owner. The rolls are delicious and the cooked food as delicious too. The place needs some upgrades but is very clean and the service at front also good

Fresh and generous portions of sashimi are served here. Sushi rolls are very tasty. Love the creativity of the rolls available. Service is really good too. Not the cheapest place, but if you can splurge, you won't regret it. Decor is a little outdated but that's ok because all you're looking at is your food as it comes to you, no time to pay attention to your surroundings. We come here with friends frequently. Recently brought our adult children and they said "it's the best they've ever had". Highly recommend if your in San Diego. Oh BTW, ask for the Peter Hand Roll. Not on the menu. It's AMAZING!!!!!!

This place has been in Rancho Bernardo serving the public forever and still does a great job. The sushi is fresh and really good. You have both the traditional sushi and innovative new options. The waitstaff is wonderful. They treat you like family.

The lunch specials are great. Nice selection of sushi rolls at a reasonable price to share as a table or for an individual meal.

I have been eating here for well over 20 years. The sushi is some of the best anywhere & would highly recommend anyone take the time and spend a little money on a fine sushi meal here!

I have been a customer of Akai Hana for over 25 years. I've always had only the best experience with their sushi. I've always taken my kids there and now that they're adults they also continue to go there. I've recommended this place as the only place that I've never had a bad piece of sushi year after year. Today, I am sorry to say, I ordered nigiri sushi to go and got bad sushi. The Hamachi (yellow tail) was OLD, past due, obviously the manager Nakamura didn't want to throw it out and tried to squeeze another nickel out of bad fish. This is a major problem with most sushi places, but not Akai Hana, UNTIL TODAY. When I called and spoke to his daughter, Emily, I asked to be refunded the total amount of my meal for ruining my meal. She said that they would only refund the Hamachi. I told her of my 25 years as a customer and how I had always recommended them as the place which NEVER screwed up with old sushi, and that their reputation hung in the balance. I told her that I'd spent thousands of dollars there over 25 years. She said that she and her dad would "not fold" and that they would only refund the price of the Hamachi. I told her that this was unacceptable and that they were penney wise and pound foolish. I knew this would be the case as I got into it with her father years ago about a ten dollar charge which I found insulting and he said I only had to pay five dollars. I refused to go there for years, but felt like I was screwing myself because it was the BEST place to rely on for the best sushi. I will NEVER return as long Nakamura is in charge. He now serves bad sushi and has not the intelligence or insight to understand that he needed to do anything he could to keep me as a customer. The full refund was to be symbolic, I don't need the money, but he and his daughter fail to realize that they have ruined their reputation and their intrangicense has not only cost him a loyal customer, but anyone else that I can influence. They are no longer pristine, and they refuse to take responsibility for serving bad sushi. Go at your own risk. Personally, I, my family, and my friends will never go there again!

We have been here many times. This restaurant always has the best sushi and Japanese food. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming. It is our go-to restaurant for Japanese food in the Rancho Bernardo area.

Akai Hana is a small neighborhood Japanese restaurant that serves delicious food and amazing sushi and the service is top notch. I believe it is one of the best sushi restaurants we have been to and highly recommend the place. The tempura and teriyaki dishes are excellent and the plates come with salad and California rolls along with Miso Soup. It is a very good value. The sushi is prepared by professional sushi chefs and we have been sitting with Hiro for many years and the fish is always excellent.

I have tried shrimp tempura all over trying to find a place that makes it as good as Akai Hana. There is even an Akai Hana in Goodyear, AZ and they don’t come close. The tempura here is twice as large and the dipping sauce (whatever it’s called) has SO much more flavor. My favorite is the Tuesday special of shrimp tempura and teriyaki chicken. It comes with rice and salad. I love the mayonnaise based dressing and my husband always asks for an extra serving. I’d add a picture, but I always eat it so fast I forget to take one! We have been going here since 1985 and even though we moved to Arizona, we still eat here every time we visit California.

I enjoy sitting at the counter. You watch them making you dinner. The chef is very friendly. The sushi is very fresh and good.

This restaurant, bar none, is the best Japanese restaurant around. They have two sushi bars inside with interactive sushi chef's. they are fun and experienced. Being there is fun, as well as a culinary delight. You can't miss by dining here. There is also a sit-down restaurant atmosphere with tables in the rest of the restaurant. the service is great as well. Try the Spicy-Sweet Crunchy Tuna roll. Once you eat it, you are addicted to it. Everything is fresh and has great taste. I keep going back...There isn't anything more I can say about it, except, if you don't go there, you are missing the treat of a lifetime. Enjoy!!

I visit this place at least twice a month for lunch. Love that it is close to home :) I have never had a bad experience with food or wait staff. Lunch is the definite frugal way to go!

This place has the best sushi you can find anywhere. I would recommend sitting up at the bar. They can make any role that you want just let him know what you like and they will make you up one.

Akai Hana is the longest running Japanese restaurant in the Rancho Bernardo area. There are a few sushi restaurant around but they have more cooked food option. It is quite busy at lunch time and has a good lunch menu. The food is pretty good but not great. However there is no better in the area unless you go down to Convoy area. If you come do park near the post office side as it is easier.

Went with colleagues for dinner. Typical Japanese food catered more for Americans with huge sushi roll. Not much options for Vegetarian though the waitress was very helpful to ensure tofu dishes came without the bonito flakes and also boiled spinach to go along with rice. Sashimi and sushi is pretty decent as with the kara age. The Tempura dish was pretty ok.

We eat here every few months and it is our "go to" place for sushi. They have a wide selection and it is always very tasty. It is also often very busy which attests to its consistent popularity. Very reasonably prices as well.

Best sushi ever eaten outside Japan. Great ambiance, real sushi bar, if you arr around Rancho Bernardo, take the time to visit.

This place has the best prepared sushi I have ever eaten. Go to Hiro and have him make one of his special rolls. Monday Night Roll is incredible. Great service and fresh fish.

This is one of my favorite local Japanese restaurants. We eat here about once a month. My family and I typically order both sushi and a dinner combination (teriyaki and tempura for my son). They use real crab here, so the rolls are delicious. They are also very family friendly, so my 4 year old son really likes coming here.

Comfortable place for a casual Japanese dinner. Clean, good service, generous portions. Look for coupons. They often offer 20% off

Visiting from London, UK, we are very well travelled discerning foodies. This sushi was hands down best sushi either of us have ever had and the most enjoyable meal we've also eaten in our fortnight here - including some pretty expensive seafood places and the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The sushi was so fresh, generous and delicious plus great service too. We sat at the sushi bar and had a sashimi platter, tempura rolls and rainbow rolls. I only wished my stomach was larger so I could have tried more dishes! Wish we could take this restaurant home. If we lived here this would be a favourite haunt of ours (;

Sadly, so many Japanese-styled restaurants have an American influence on the service and the food. Not so, in the case of Akai Hana. The food and the service was authentic and enjoyable. Not the easiest place to find as it is tucked behind a post office building in a small food court not visible from the parking lot. There is a seating selection of the patio (adjacent to other restaurants), one of two separate dining rooms, or the fairly small counter (not conducive to conversation but great for chef watching). The four of us sat at a corner window table and were amazed by the size of the portions (which tend to the smaller size in many Japanese restaurants). Especially the sashimi plate (medium) was outstanding - the fish of the freshest, most succulent, and a serving to satisfy the healthiest of appetites. The rice was perfectly cooked and the standard miso soup was typical.

Arrive by 5 PM and sit at the Sushi Bar for the best Sushi you've experienced in San Diego! If you prefer restaurant dining, you're in for a treat as well. It is usually very busy, so make a reservation for the restaurant. No reservations taken for the Sushi Bar.

Had been some time since I visited. Back then the place was called Shien of Osaka and it was smaller, more intimate, and to my taste more desirable - because it had more character. Now it seems spread out with no rhyme nor reason, expanded into nooks and crannies here and there, crammed with people. I found it chaotic with little character. (We were right next to a utilitarian station, but after waiting 45 minutes to be seated we decided to take what we got.) I have always used the food, charm and character of this restaurant as a standard, but last night changed my perspective. It took some time before we spoke to our waiter, but one of the folks at reception brought our beverages, so we had something to keep us going until he showed up - with his great smile and cheeky attitude. I called ahead to make reservations and got a time for 7:45 PM, which to their credited was pretty close to the time we were seated. But they were slammed and rushed, and it just doesn't "digest" well for me to be in such a chaotic environment eating. In my book expensive translates to relaxing. My sushi was prime! It tasted so good I wanted more but had no room to put it. I did consider forcing the issue because it was tasty. I don't know if I want to go back because of the chaos, but the sushi was delish!

This place is nestled in at the back of a huge strip, part of 4 large buildings. It is at K11 spot towards the back next to a few other international cuisine eateries. They open at 11:30 (holiday hours sign). I arrived 10 minutes early. They were not open yet, they were cleaning the windows. Finally, they opened and we entered. Not long after, a few other customers came and we all started ordering. The food came it quick. They were ready for us. The food was presented in a very colorful manner. We also had hot matcha and miso soup before our lunch arrived. Our server was very friendly and helpful and even recommended entrees to us for our lunch. Even though the tables were close to each other, it was not noisy. It was a good dining experience.

I lived in the area 10 years ago and Shien of Osaka was my absolute favorite. Have had some good sushi across the country but nothing compares. I was apprehensive when i saw the name had changed but went anyway. I was ecstatic to see some of the same Sushi Chefs and my favorite (Albacore Special) still on the picture menu. It tasted even better than i remembered! Definitely recommend!!!

Stopped in with another couple on a Saturday night. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. We ordered a variety of sushi rolls and our friends ordered sashimi. Everyone was happy with the freshness/quality of the fish. Considering how crowded the restaurant was, the food was prepared and served pretty fast. We did have a minor issue with getting our server to remove the empty plates but will chalk that up to how busy she was with other tables. We have a couple of other places we would like to try, however I can see us returning to Akai Hana.

Very good sushi. Enjoyed the sushi bar very enjoyable. Everyone was very friendly service at sushi bar was great.

We love the sushi & usually the service, but we had a bad experience here. My husband asked our server, Jenny, if she had tried a certain item and she said “no, I can’t afford it.” That made us feel very self-conscious about ordering to say the least. Then she came back multiple times to try to get us to order more food. She was so unpleasant that I cant believe she can keep a job serving tables. The other times we’ve eaten here the service was impeccable. If we ever return, we’ll be sure to avoid this women!

The location of this restaurant in a mall doesn't scream good food but Akai Hana is a solid Japanese restaurant with a large selection of sushi, sashimi, and well-prepared entres such as tempura and teiryaki salmon and chicken. I would have preferred my sashimi to be sliced a bit thinner but it tasted fresh. The service was excellent, especially with our large group of 33, all ordering individual dinners and drinks with separate checks. Might be the first Japanese restaurant we've been to with draft Japanese beer.

very unique sushi rolls !!! a more intimate restaurant/sushi bar. not loud at all. good for families too. good sushi restaurants are hard to find. i suggest giving this one a try. a bit pricey but worth it.

It had been a long time since we had visited this restaurant, and now we remember why. We arrived around 530 pm on a week night so we were there before any crowds. We were taken to a back room where parts of the ceiling were falling down....and seated. We sat and sat and sat....finally a waitress came to our table and took our order. We ordered an appetizer and two beers and our meal. Two other tables were seated in the meantime- one table immediately had the attention of our waitress, she devoted the rest of the night to them. Meanwhile, our table had no service we still did not receive our drinks, water, nothing......my daughter stopped a different waitress and asked if we could possibly get our beers or appetizer, water or ? (I should have mentioned that while sitting we noticed their staff basically circling the restaurant but no one was actually working. The busser carried a tray and walked around and around in a circle......finally our waitress came back with our beer and we asked of our appetizer- Oh! She then came back to our table with our meal but still no appetizer (vegetable tempura)....One of our meals was tempura udon which had sat so long under a light that the shrimp was soggily sitting (looked disgusting) and completely unrecognizable.... we did get our sushi (which was extremely average, small pieces, overpriced)- STILL no appetizer. When we flagged down our waitress and asked yet once again for the appetizer I asked if my daughter could perhaps get two different shrimp for her udon- we gave her the other two on a plate. She left, came back slammed a plate down and said "next time order it on the side!" This was not our first japanese restaurant experience. We are aware the shrimp comes in the udon- that was not our point- it was inedible as it had sat so long in hot broth, tough, gross, etc. We waited and got our appetizer and the bill came with it. Never asked if we would perhaps like more water, more beer, more food, HOWEVER, once I paid with my bill she hovered around the table wanting to pick it up.....I should also mention that in the meantime, the other table seated next to us was also asking other servers for help as the server in our area was non existent. As we were getting up from the table again the server appeared and grabbed the bill/monies. Apparently she thought we were going to dine and ditch? It was the oddest thing we have ever seen. We will never, ever return to this restaurant. At one time we actually ate here once a week. The place has gone down hill drastically with service and up keep. There are WAY too many options for sushi. This should not be one of them.

My family and I have been coming to this place for over 21 years, the food quality is always excellent. The staff has also been working here for over 21 years , so they have the customer service well polished. Among the top sushi/Japanese food places in all of San Diego by far!!
Best sushi anywhere!
A no frills sushi restaurant in an upscale strip mall. I would've never stopped here had it not come recommended and I *must* pay that forward! Hands down, the best sushi and sashimi I've ever had anywhere. Highly highly recommended!! 10 stars if I could!
