Great finding

By Giselle M |

On my last trip to Miami I visited Aladdin, the food was delicious, we ordered lentil soup, shawarma platter and kebab. For desert we had a tasty pistacchio baclawa. It’s been a longtime no eating mideastern food so I was gladly surprised. The owner was super helpful on choosing from de menu. The market is really good, we had some tea and pinenuts ( so hard to find)

THE BEST IN SOUTH FLORIDA A MUST EAT

We finally stopped in to this place after many months of saying we should and when we did it was AMAZING and well worth it! The staff is beyond friendly the place is spotless clean but most of all the food is AMAZING! Fresh, tasty and large portions for a good price and well worth it. We HIGHLY recommend that you stop in to eat and to buy items you can not find any place else. There is not enogh space here for us to RAVE over this place, you MUST take the time to stop in and try the food, it is WELL WORTH it!

It's hard nowadays to find real food at a reasonable price - Aladdin Market and Grill has you covered

I eat out a bit more than I'd like. It's challenging to find a restaurant that actually follows a recipe to cook authentic dishes on their premises. By the above statement I mean, the cooks in the kitchen aren't just cutting open a bag and warming your entree items up in a microwave. Thank goodness for small authentic restaurants like Aladdin Market & Grill. I visited today for the first time, I wanted something light. I had a gyro salad, hummus with warm pita bread, and lentil soup. I was so pleased with my lunch I wanted to order more food, but I was already stuffed. LOL! The meal was fresh and delicious. Good food at reasonable prices. A warm friendly atmosphere. And if you're a cook and need a Meditteranean spice to complete your dish, they probably have it. Today was my first time but it will not be my last. Go check them out!

TRY THE PLATTERS

My wife and I had occasion to be in the area, so we stopped in for lunch. Not too busy. We shared two platters: one with chicken and the other without meat. We thereby sampled many items. Very tasty. Plenty of food. Reasonably priced. Very good service.

A "Can't Miss" restaurant for Mediterranean Dining

What a delightful, hidden treasure Aladdin Market and Grill is. Voted as one of the Top 10 restaurants in Miami, I stumbled upon it while spending a week in Kendall getting a house ready to sell. Out of the 5 days I stayed, I ate there 3 times. I returned two weeks later with my wife and stayed for 4 days and we also ate there 3 times. The meals are excellent and prepared when ordered. Everything tastes fresh, everything is tasty and delicious, and everything I ate made me want to come back to try other dishes (which I did). I ate kababs (chicken and beef), shawarma platter with baba ghanoush and had their Greek salad. The owner makes a fantastic garnish salad that she calls 'pickles' given their dill flavor. They are made from cabbage, carrot and turnips and absolutely mouth-watering. The market-restaurant is very clean; the staff and owner are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The prices are modest and the amount of food served is ample. If you enjoy Mediterranean food or would like to try it, you cannot afford to miss a meal at Aladdin Market and Grill.

Quick Stop!

Today I decided to stop by and have a look at this store that sells Arab products, food, and drinks, which is close to my work. It's a shame that I went after eating because the food they in here looked and smelled divine. The service was wonderful. Soon I will return to try their food and I will tell you how it was. Thank you!

All our wishes were granted at the Aladdin Market and Grill

After seeing this restaurant on a Miami PBS show called “Check Please, South Florida”, my wife and I decided to try it- and we are so glad we did. The husband and wife owners make you feel right at home when you sit down. The waitress was also so friendly and welcoming. We shared a Greek salad, which had just the right amount of dressing and olives and feta, and was so large we had to take half of it home. We then shared a Combo platter which had falafels, kibbeh, and grape leaves served with pita bread and hummus. I’m not sure what all the ingredients were but I know they were delicious. Finally, make sure you save room for the Knafeh desert. Again, not sure all the ingredients but it was unlike any desert dish I’ve ever had and it was fantastic! It was a circular dish of melted cheese covered by spun pastry with a honey like topping. Amazing - and again too much to finish in one sitting so we took half of it home. I can’t say enough good things about the Aladdin Market and Grill. If you live in or around Miami, or you’re driving up the FL Turnpike from the Keys, I implore you to stop at Aladdin’s and have a meal and take home something from their store. You won’t be disappointed.

Great food, great spot

We are repeat customers and once again had a great lunch with four adults, starting with the stuffed grape leaves and flatbread with cheese and za’atar spice. We were all pleased with that start! The mains were equally fresh and delicious: gyro platter, chicken shawarma wrap, etc. all great! The service was nice, the owner stopped by to check on us. Very pleasant experience!!

Great Mediterranean market and grill restaurant. Baba is off the chain, but can’t compare to the piping hot kibbeh! Great pride taken by family owned restaurant! Chefs are husband and wife team bringing their family recipes to Miami! Must try ...

Not at all what we were expecting!

By Miamismile |

I was so disappointed with our lunch today. First the the waitress says their “special” for an appetizer is stuffed pepper. She explained that consist of one pepper. My sister-in-law was not that hungry so she said she will order a stuffed pepper. When served, it was two large stuffed peppers and at $25.50 a plate for the supposed “ appetizer “ I think she should have explained. The peppers had very little flavor to it. My brother and I had ordered wraps and a salad. The lunch for 3 was over $104 with tip. Expensive & not worth the money. It would have been nice if the waitress was a little more honest. All she did was laugh and said “The food will last for days”.

This place is a great place to go for Mediterranean cuisine, a welcome addition to the Kendall area. Food is absolutely fabulous with reasonable prices. Service is also great and very friendly. We have tried several dishes and all have been good. Recommended for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Delicious, high-quality food with friendly and precise service!

While staying at an Airbnb nearby in April 2025, our family of seven ordered takeout from Aladdin Grill for dinner. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant to place our order, we felt like dear guests. The manager, Selim, personally welcomed us, guiding us through the menu with recommendations on dishes, sides, and appetizers. His warm, friendly conversation made the experience even more enjoyable. Despite us asking for delivery at 9pm - restaurant closing time — it was graciously accommodated and Selim personally delivered the food, right on time. This was an awesome service! The food impressed us with its flavor, freshness, and overall quality. We started with maza combos. Each of five mazas was perfectly prepared. A standout was the cauliflower salad maza, an uncommon but delightful addition to typical Mediterranean fare. The kebabs were tender and perfectly spiced, with the kafta kebab distinguished by its coarse texture, bold seasoning, and flavor, adding a unique touch beyond usual kafta kebab taste. We highly recommend Aladdin Grill if you are in the area and looking for a high quality Mediterranean cuisine. It fully deserves its high review rating! Thank you Aladdin Grill and Selim for an exceptional meal and seamless delivery! Food ordered: Beef Shawarma with Fava Bean Salad and House Salad Kafta Kabbab with Sweet Potato Salad and Tzatziki Chicken Kabbab with French Fries Kabbab Combos with House Salad, Tzatziki, Hummus, Eggplant Salad, French Fries, Fava Bean Salad, Sweet Potato Salad 2 Maza combo platters with five mazas each

The food was very flavorful, fresh, and tasty. We ordered two Falafel Platters and a Kibeh platter to go. The pitas arrived hot. The falafels were very fresh and the food was tasty. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

I Wish This Restaurant Was in MY Town!

The day after I left Miami I was still thinking about our meal here. The outdoor sitting area is especially comfortable and fun, and the staff is friendly, welcoming and attentive. But of course, the best thing about Aladdin Market & Grill is the food. Freshly made falafel, wonderful hummus, delicious fava bean salad, tasty sauces, fresh stuffed grape leaves and, of course, pita bread for everything. Be sure to check out the desserts inside before you get too full. I wish this place was in my area, because I'd use them to make platters for every party.
