Great pizza

By ardy71 |

Tried it for the good reviews, and unusual toppings. Got the happy hour specials, still more than enough to eat. Took a while, and didn't seem that busy. Other than that, great meal.

Excellent

By FreeBacon |

Excellent service, food, drinks. Lauren was great. Came back for a second time without hesitation. Enjoy

Nice Pizza Bar

By degreenwood |

A great place in a cozy atmosphere for pizza and a beer. Came here for lunch and was happy to find good pizza and a quiet, relaxing place to enjoy it in. A good find.

Great Pizza

By David C |

We loved the pizza. Wife and older child had the salad and Mac n cheese. Good all the way around. We had the pizza con carne. Excellent

Great Ambience

By clau8am |

Went for drinks and the place has a good bar ambience, drinks were excellent and for an amazing price compared to other places around.

Great Pizza, pasta and service!

By Erin T |

Delicious spicy (not really) pasta and artichoke dip! Pizzas are greasy and yummo! Service was impeccable and the ambiance was like place all the way! We ate before happy hour and it was my sons birthday, he really enjoyed it! Loved the old brick walls and the windows open with greenery, artwork was funky and bathroom was a dark ally experience!

Happy hour!!!

By glfseattle |

This is a hidden gem of a dive bar hidden within a pikes market alley. The happy hour is good with great mini Pizzas. It's a great haunt used mostly by locals and its right next to the pike place brewery.

Best pizza just off the ferry

By 491aimel |

We stop here every time we take the ferry to the city & are on foot. The wood fire pizza is delicious & always reasonably priced. The Brie & the hummus plates are also fantastic if you are sharing a pizza with a small group! Definitely recommended!

Couldn't get past the unfriendly host to taste the food

By Nicole L |

We read a review and were intrigued so we stopped in around 5pm to check out the menu. The host was quite standoffish but we ignored the lack of friendliness and told him we would be back later for dinner. It would have been nice if he had suggested we make reservations, because when we showed up around 7pm he told us his waiting list was too long and there was no point in us trying to put our name down. I think it's important for the business owner to know what kind of service his staff is giving to prospective and existing clients. Needless to say, we won't be back!

YUM

By A S |

The Alibi Room is located right by the famous gum wall! We’d been walking all day and were starving so we were very excited to sink our teeth into this haunt! We really enjoyed the Bruschetta and the Marghertia pizza. Great service!

Great Service

By Tom H |

A large group of friends visited the Alibi Room for drinks and snacks. The bar tender was great and helped us with drinks and food. The bar has an eclectic atmosphere and is a fun place to visit. Highly recommended.

My favorite hideout at the Market

By Michelle W |

An oasis of quiet normalcy tucked in the corner of the Pike Place Market. Decent food and an engaging staff with a decent price point for food and drinks. If I were back at the market, I would end up here. They have options for gluten free guests as well.

Most Excellent Pizza & Fun Atmosphere

By kathleentbikeandski |

Great place to go for some fun Seattle Night Life, and of course a walk thru the Famous Seattle Gum wall is an added benefit! We ate here before heading across the alley to Unexpected Productions for some comedy. The pizza here was amazing. We had a gluten free person among us and the pizza did not disappoint. The portions are definitely shareable, as we ordered way too much. Would recommend the Green Eggs and Ham Pie - Delish! Desserts are a must as well... we ordered 3!

This is your alibi

By Erik S |

Secreted away opposite the gum wall in Seattle’s Pike Place Market, this is a small restaurant by day and a dive bar by night. The furnishings are cheap and dark, with pop art by local artists on the walls. The food is excellent, from the pizzas to the sandwiches. The hummus is a favorite. I am partial to their cocktail, The Governor. Prices are shockingly reasonable given the area. Weekend days in particular, they are always quiet 12 to 3 or so, while the rest of the market is packed. Sneak over here. You have an Alibi. Highly recommended.

Fantastic pizza crust

By 16deemc |

The pizza was amazing & portions were perfect. We each ordered a different pizza type & shared. The Mac & cheese was amazing !!! Prices were good & waitstaff was friendly.

Cool Dive, Great Pies

By Bill W |

Great bar with a good drink selection. The wood fired pizza is excellent and enough for two. Very busy for Friday happy hour.

Hard to find, but can't be beat!

By Alice D |

We went to the Alibi Room on a recommendation from a local couple while visiting West Seattle. (It's amazing what you learn when you talk to people!) They told us the best pizza was at the Alibi Room, but that it was literally a whole in the wall...in the gum wall. Once you get past that icky thing, you walk into a cool, dark place with amazing pizza. We were so hungry and started with bruschetta and then moved on to their meat pizza. It has a great tender crust. That with glasses of wine satisfied us. It was nice to be in the middle of Pike Place, but yet off the beaten path. (Yes, the bathroom and the journey to get to it are interesting, but that adds to the fun!)

Great Little Escape

By stefani b |

Tucked in the heart of the crazy , I stopped in for a cold beer and bite to my surprise its quiet and dark so its relaxing , sat by the open window. Ordered a Stella and a mini size Ham , Pineapple and Gorgonzola... just the way I like it super thin crust nice perfect amount of topping. Service was friendly

Great pizza!

By roxycape |

I realize that this isn’t that much of a hidden gem, but I still appreciate that it takes some effort to find this restaurant in the Market. The beer/wine list was good and the pizza was great! They’re open late which is a plus in a town that on a weeknight tends to shut down early in this neighborhood. It is LOUD and small so expect that you will be sitting at a table the size of a postage stamp and yelling at your dining mates but the experience is totally worth it!

too expensive

By Maya G |

margarita pizza, very simple tomato and cheese, not bad but at 28 dollars (taxes included of course!!) it's really excessive!

Great pizza!

By Claire F |

Tucked away to the side of Pike Place is the Alibi Room. If you want different go here. It’s dim lit, with an array of tables, stool and high tables, great music (not so great toilets - they’re clean but cold and basic). Staff are friendly greet on arrival and show you to a table. The pizzas are cooked to the side of the bar fresh to order! We had a small starter and shared a pizza it tasted amazing! The wine washed down well with it too. Very cosy place gets busy quickly. Definitely recommend eating here!

Horrifying Bathroom. Good pizza.

By Dan C |

We found this "hole in the wall" trendy pizza joint while checking out the Seattle Gum Wall. Our group shared a coue flat bread pizzas which were all huge! We thought we could eat 4 for our group of 4, but were glad we only ordered 2 pizzas. They were delicious and huge. The bathroom itself is worth checking out this place. It was horrifying and sketchy (and resembled the bathroom in Saw). I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. Either way, when you're by the Pike Place Market, check out this interesting spot!

Great service, decent pizza

By B B |

Heard this place was cool w/ live music and good pizza. No live music (at least on Tuesday), pizza was good but seemed like something was missing, however, the servers were very nice/attentive/professional- great job! It was close to Public Market and an easy place to find - glad I checked it out. Would be exponentially better with an acoustic set or two-

A Treasure in Downtown Seattle

By knysmth |

Small hole in the wall off by the infamous gum wall. My friend and I created our own pizza option and the pizza came out fast and delicious! We were so happy with how they made it and the crust was fantastic. It reminded us of a far better version of MOD Pizza. The Bruschetta was also delectable and nicely priced during their happy hour (which is fairly longer than an hour if I remember.) I was blown away by the fast service and amazing food. Also loved that it's right below Pike Place Market so we could walk around and look at all the merchants! Great location and food!

Stop here and get the pizza!

By L. . |

Amazing hole in the wall discovery. Stopped in a whim and wasn't disappointed. Place is loud, but oh well it's the vibe. Great prices considering your in tourist central Food is fantastic! and great selection of drinks.

Hidden and busy

By KestasKS |

We had walk with friends thru downtown after a dinner. We found this place by chance at the end of the market place. Lots of young people. Good service. It was a good place to have a shot after dinner, talk nothing with friends and listen to music. Interior is a bit run down.

Don't blink or you'll miss it

By ivanhoe |

Located in the alley with a little black sign, we walked right by. It's a small bar environment with decent thin crust pizza and good salad.

Everything was amazing

By mr_yummm |

Service: The service was nice, personal (but not too much), and helpful Atmosphere: The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, a little dark though Meal: The meal was the best part, the appetizers were so good I almost couldn't eat my pizza. The bread on the appetizers steals the show, especially on the bruschetta and the hummus. When I got to the pizza it was fine, but was a little disappointing after the appetizers. All in all: It was a great first night and welcome to Seattle, I recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for a good dinner.

fun spot for drinks and reading scripts

By mardi c |

in case you didn't know, at the front here, are hollywood scripts for various movies. sit and ponder the words, tom skerrit and beyond. Fun staff, and fun art. Boy I'd like to show here someday. You can't go wrong up in here, and you can feel like a local as well. I enjoyed this moment in this dark and foreboding spot, surrounded by people who clearly love the written words of a movie script.

Awesome time. Great drinks

By bullet45 |

It’s a local bar that treats the outsiders like kings and queens. Our bartender was Kirstin and pointed us to the places to be and go. Highly recommended when at the market. By the gun wall.

Gourmet pizzas, hip place

By ricandary |

I love the Alibi at pike market. It has a full bar. Children can't stay past 8 pm. We have celebrated many occasions at the Alibi. Birthdays, new years Eve dinner, anniversary. The pizzas are to die for. There are other menu items and bar food. This place is right across the famous gum wall. One of the owners, Sam, is a great person.

Great late night pizza

By Caseyy214 |

Bodie gave us great service and pizza was amazing. Husband ordered the pepperoni and I had the margherita pizza. Only reason for the 4 stars was the older gentleman in the lower bar turning up the music toward the end of our stay when only one other couple was there. Much too loud for the room and made conversation difficult, it was perfect when we first got there. Really ruined the ambiance unfortunately (the upper bar music noise level was much better), and took the rest of our pizza to go.

Yum!

By Vanessa M |

The Alibi room is a hidden gem. Great atmosphere and delicious food on offer. Everything on the menu sounds delicious and we couldn’t decide what to choose, so we decided to Build a Pie with our favourite toppings. Yum!!! Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great pizza (carry-out)

By Hayden2184 |

Ordered a pizza and salad for carry out after a long day of traveling. Order was ready very quickly. Food was very good. Great location!

Hideaway and Pizza out

By Bryan Lussier |

This amazing hole in the wall serves artisan pizza at a great value. Alibi has a great comfortable atmosphere that's perfect whether your are ending or just beginning your night. Dine with locals at this locale that features local wine and beers. I strongly recommend the Grapes and Bleu Cheese which features bleu cheese, grapes, balsamic, and arugula. Or the Truffle Tre Fungi with an Oregon Pinot Noir. Can't make up your mind? You can always order a half and half.

Popped in for a drink

By MGCMGF |

Our hotel recommended this place. Glad they did as a cute little pub/bar. We were there when they were serving thier happy hour menu. Nice friendly team here and good mix of people. The food we ordered was very tasty. The toilets are quite grungy and could do with a makeover. Overall, glad we did visit the bar.

Fab pizza, friendly staff

By Jane M |

We found this fabulous pizza restaurant by reading reviews on Tripadvisor, emailed today (Saturday!) to see if we could get a table this evening and were amazed when they replied to say yes. Really friendly staff, great buzzy atmosphere and delicious pizza (not too doughy, plenty of great toppings). Lovely husband had the Rainier lager, very reasonably priced at $5 for a pint, and I had a zingy Moscow Mule. We highly recommend this gem and will try to return when we come back to Seattle in a week or so.

A hip cafe/bar

By Dianne O |

Recommended to me by a local, I enjoyed a Tuesday lunch at Alibi Room which is in Pike Street while on a my visit to Seattle. Alibi is a small cafe/bar tucked away off an alley they call gum alley. I nearly missed it as the alley was closed for cleaning. The atmosphere is cosy and warm. The pizzas were outstanding, in fact I don't think I've eaten better. Service was friendly and prompt. This is definitely worth a visit.

Hard to find

By Tom H |

I'm not sure how we found this hidden gem, but it's just down an alley from the gum wall. Dark but cozy with a great, friendly, knowledgeable waitress. Known for its pizza, we came for cocktails and were not disappointed. It's busy but quiet so you can talk to friends at a table. Interesting place.

Great atmosphere and food

By Alan Blakeney |

Googled pizza nearby and ended up here. It was awesome. We had the Rustini and it was great. Service was very good. Goaatmatmosphere also

Great tasty pizza and gluten free option

By Wise14u |

Love love loved this pizza. Great tasty crust. Just the right amount of sauce. Great cheese blend. Great service. Must be Covid vaccinated and show card to enter which is nice. Tasty focaccia and olive starter was unique and delicious. Waitress was so funny and fun. Had a great experience here! Full bar, credit cards accepted.

Amazing Hidden Gem! Excellent service from the bartenders and delicious food!

By Michelle M |

This is the first place I would go back to if I was in Seattle again. The bartender was so friendly. I sat at the bar by myself but was surrounded by people who were kind and fun. The music was incredible and just a perfect vibe. Since I was by myself I did a call zone and it was so delicious! I highly recommend everything about this place!

Awesome Happy Hour!

By worldtravel1936 |

The selection is great, the prices even better in this hidden gem off 'gum alley' in the Pike Market Place.

Great hidden spot, top notch pizza

By Jcox7483 |

We actually sought out Alibi Room for their gluten free pizza for my wife but if you’re just exploring the market it’s just down a staircase and on the gum wall. It’s a little hidden which keeps it a little quieter than the insanity that can be at the market sometimes. The food is great; the crust is light and the toppings are high quality. The gluten free pizza is also really good; nearly tasting like their regular pizzas. Happy hour from 11:30 - 6:00 includes a smaller size pizza and low price drafts of good beers. Regular menu is also available.

Great pizza

By Jenny G |

Food was really good but service was really slow. Friendly but never offered drink refills and we had to find the server to get a check. The grunge style is pretty cool

Unique find near Pike Place Market

By twowisekids |

Small restaurant and bar off Post Alley. It is in a little alcove amongst the gum wall. Service was wonderful. Pizza was fabulous!!

Last meal in Seattle

By Jasmine R |

Wow! What a great last meal for us on our anniversary trip! My husband and I shared a caprese salad and pepperoni pizza which were very good. The environment is so much fun with the dining area and full bar very open. The service is great and the food is fantastic! Nice little hidden gem in Pike Place Market by the Gum Wall!

Hidden Gem

By Russ P |

Most people have no idea this place exists. Near the gum wall in the market, it looks kind of dark and seedy but it’s very comfortable and easy going. Very nice staff. If you go around the dinner hour you might have to wait 30 minutes or more for pizza. Not a place for fine dining but I like it!

Very good spot along the Gum Wall

By gordonc11 |

We had a Thursday night dinner at the Alibi Room. The decor could probably best be described as "rustic." It's in the "gum wall" alley area. We had our beer and a 1/2 & 1/2 pizza that was plenty for the two of us. Our server, Ashley, was friendly and courteous. The pizza was very good and we enjoyed our dining experience at the Alibi Room. One of the really nice things was the absence of those onerous surcharges that some restaurants are charging these days.

Excellent!

By 2diane144 |

We hosted a party for 50 people in the private dining area and were pleasantly surprised to have our own bartender, great service, and delicious food. The cost was very reasonable and everyone enjoyed themselves. The restaurant even helped us outsource dessert, since they don't offer this on their private dining menu. Genuine people, delicious food, and a great location right in Pike Market, by the Gum Wall on Post Alley.

Yummy thin crust pizza, great staff

By lisamariesmith5 |

Cool, old school pizza place. Great staff. Variety of options on the menu. Had the fig, goat cheese prosciutto pizza and really enjoyed it.

By georgie4009 |

Excellent food if you can find it in Post Alley. It was recommended to us by family that lives in the area. It's a little hideaway with fabulous food. We stopped in for lunch. We were so happy we did!! We had flatbreads and beer! Very very good!

Love the pepperoni pizza

By Lisa A |

We're told about this place by another restaurant closing up for night...it's was so good! We ordered a Caesar salad & pepperoni pizza which was so yummmy! Our waitress was very sweet & served us quickly. I'll visit again when in Seattle.

Very Nice, Convenient Dark Bar

By David M |

Stopped in on a visit to the recently renovated "Gum Wall" (just across the alley). Had a couple drinks. Liked the staff and the drinks. Very friendly. Quite a fun atmosphere. Didn't try the pizza, although it looked quite good. Funky, very cool place. Well worth a visit.

Love This Place

By BMacSeattle |

The location of this place in the alley suggests that this might be a dive bar, but that's the beauty of it. Its a really nice, friendly place that serves great drinks and delicious food offerings. I've been here a handful of times and each time was cool. The pizza and salads are great. Depending on when you go it may be hard to get a seat but have a drink by the bar and something will open up in no time. Great place to meet up with a colleague after work or just a general night out.

Hidden gem

By beblunt08 |

This is a great place to grab lunch when visiting Pikes Place. It is hidden in the ally next to the gum wall.

Hidden Gem

By travelerplus2 |

This is a hidden gem at Pikes Place Market, right on the gum wall, but hardly anyone inside for lunch. We came right from the plane, and were happy there was no wait for lunch. The pizza was delicious, thin crust with many unique varieties, or build your own. You can get a smaller, individual size before 6pm which was nice to try the different varieties.

The best Pizza west of Salt Lake City

By Marc H |

Great Pizza with home made dough, authentic insalata caprese, delicious hummus and pita bread. Great variety of drinks. Super nice Service! It's an oasis found by chance as walking by the Gum Wall. Don't miss it, it's just awesome!

Hidden Treasure

By PamelaLynn1957 |

Find the "Gum Wall" at Seattle's Pike Place Market and you'll find "Alibi", an irresistible "hole in the wall". We walked in and discovered we were the only women in the place, but it's dark, speakeasy vibe was too irresistible to ignore. Delicious pizza and exceptional wine and service. Price was good too. If you want a local experience, this is it.

Great place in a charming building

By get_with_it |

Ate here on a Thursday night as a couple. We arrived around 7:30 and there was only one table for two left which we got. The restaurant was quite noisy but in a good way. Server quickly brought us water and menus. We saw what others were having and settled on sharing an appetizer and pizza. Both came quickly and were delicious. I would eat here again without hesitation.

Ok for a beer

By Mark C |

We just came here for a drink. It's a bit dark and dingy. Beer was fine, but the choice was not that wide. The food didn't look up to much. Not a bad place, but on a nice day somewhere with some outside space, or at least an outlook, would probably have suited us better.

Happy Hour Value

By rolsar |

We went to Alibi to grab a bite after visiting the Great Wheel. It's a bit hard to find, tucked away in the alley with the Gum Walls south of Pikes Market. It's dark, secluded, and has a delicious and affordable happy hour menu! The restrooms were a bit unkempt.

A little loud, a little dark

By Peter P |

Found this restaurant off of Post Alley's Gum Wall. We ordered some drinks, bruschetta for an appetizer, and two pizzas (one with sausage and basil and the other was the vegan pie). All the food was good and the server was really helpful with the menu. Only complaint is that it was a little too loud and a little too dark.

Do yourself a favor - don't walk past this place!

By groovygoolie |

If you are visiting Pike Place Mkt and/or the gum wall -- do not pass this place by! It is easy to just pass it up, or assume it's a dive bar, etc...but do yourself a favor and pop in here for some great pizza and maybe a beer. The ambiance is great and its a gem of a place to relax and regroup for continued city exploration!

A wonderful and fun pizza joint under Pike Place Market!

By Texas_Traveler71 |

We simply loved the Alibi Room when we visited last summer. Our family of four had a wonderful lunch and though the pizza was just superb! The fun, somewhat hidden, location adds to the ambiance of this great place! You walk right out their front door and your at the gum wall. Such a fun and tasty place!

Nice little spot

By Johns55belair |

Went to dinner there with my wife.as others said, small poorly lite place.but food was good with a really relaxed enviroment.staff were awesome.they played some nice old classic rock, like led zeppelin,ac,/,dc and van halen.kind of place to just hang out it.highly recommend.

Hidden gem

By Karen M |

A friend recommended this and met us there by the gum wall. It was quite a pleasant surprise. The pizza smells wonderful just walking in the door. We chose a selection of appetizers and pizza to share for lunch. Every single item was delectable. I highly recommend this little gem adjacent to Pike Place market.

Alibi Room Restaurant and Bar next to "Gum Alley" Pike Market

By Debi S |

Great Seattle atmosphere even with-out a view. A bit dark, lots of wood, almost looks closed from outside their door. Just off the alley where everyone sticks their gum on the brick buildings lining the street. Almost art. And gross. So go check that craziness out then step in to Alibi. On a Sunday afternoon we enjoyed a craft beer, fantastic new type of Old fashioned and a delicious Malbec. Something for everybody. Not needing a meal, just a nice snack, we enjoyed the Brie, apple slices drizzled with honey. not just any honey, it was so fresh and flavorful. With some foccausia toasty triangles. Also an olive tapenade with same bread. Great service. Fun little break.

Best GF Crust

By Megan H |

Best gluten free crust ever! Also, their meat pizza has chorizo and it’s awesome. Definitely something to add to your trip as you go by the Gum Wall, too.

My what Big Pies they have!!

By Bridstow |

We had just arrived in Seattle after a 10 hour flight, dropped our bags of at our apartment and walked downtown. Our mission was to find somewhere to eat that would enable us to quickly dispel thoughts of airline food and keep us awake until bedtime - a Pacific Time. Having visited the city numerous times we headed for Pike Place. After looking at a number of options we were drawn to some colourful and artistically decorated walls - and yes it is chewing gum of every imaginable colour that adorns them. This lead us to the Alibi Room that on entering was dimly lit, busy and noisey due to a large group of young colourfully dressed women who appeared to having a great time celebrating something! We were shown to the table next to them where we didn't need much time to order a long overdue drink. The next decision didn't need much thought either having seen the menu - it had to be pie or is it pizza? We checked whether one was big enough for two and were told "it should be plenty". That turned out to be an understatement! The pie was massive it would have made a great substitute in emergency for a manhole cover. Still our taste buds having been rendered dormant by the airline were rejuvenated on mere sight of the pie. There is a great selection of pies to choose from or you can build your own. Gluten free pie crusts are available The welcome, atmosphere, service and food was all outstanding and provided a a great first evening in Seattle and our holiday.

A hidden gem!

By Reed |

Wow! Usually places like this in the heart of a tourist attraction aren’t great, Alibi Room is an exception to that rule. Located in the smelly “gum wall” area of the market, Alibi Room is a small joint that has surprisingly good food! We took advantage of their excellent happy hour menu which includes $6 apps and pizzas. We sampled the goat cheese, the hummus and the bruschetta for apps and all were great. The 1/2 priced pizzas are “mini” pizzas but plenty good sized after the apps. The dough was flavorful and chewy and the toppings were fresh and it was perfectly cooked! Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town - in an area filled with a lot of tourist traps, this was a gem.

This is a great pizza and dive bar

By Gesina Pagan |

This is a great pizza and bar joint hidden away in the gum wall alley. They had amazing HH pizzas and the service was good. They allow minors until 8pm which is rare for Seattle. 5 stars for a dive bar pizza joint

No ghosts, but good pizza

By Julie J |

We went here after reading of it's haunted reputation. We saw no ghosts (although the trip downstairs to the bathroom explained why people think it's haunted) but we did get great, friendly service and had a really top-notch pizza with our cocktails. I recommend it if passing the Gum Wall won't ruin your appetite, lol.

A Seattle Must Do!!!

By kmichelle84 |

We started off our bachelorette party with lunch at the Alibi Room before heading out on the town. After the end of the weekend everyone still talked about how great the service and the pizza was. By far it was our favorite spot in Seattle for our bachelorette party. My favorite pizza was the Grapes and Bleu Cheese. They have an amazing happy hour, half-off pizzas!

Great Bar; Tucked away in Post Alley

By Sherry H |

This is a great little bar tucked away in Post Alley (right across from Gum Wall). Definitely stop in and have a nice cocktail; the drink menu has lots of good choices. We ordered a wood fired pizza; it was AMAZING. Give this place a look see...you won't be disappointed.

Small, hidden but good

By law92284 |

My son and I stopped in last week for dinner on a cold, dreary night. The pizza and salads were great, and service was good. No pretense, no frills, just good food.

Just a great place for pizza. The Mac and cheese was super. The appetizer for meats and cheese was great. Going back for sure.

Locals enjoying the ambiance of Seattle

By TravelT |

Enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere and really tasty, fresh food. The appetizers and pizza were made with fresh ingredients. The pizza toppings were super fresh! The service was prompt and friendly. Fun, comfortable atmosphere. Just behind him wall.

Late night saviour

By Beverly K |

Delicious find In Pike Place Market for a late night meal. Local beers on tap. Delicious. Excellent serving staff. Would definitely return and recommend.

Bday getaway

By Yjenny33 |

Came on a Sunday night after the Super Bowl. Was not too busy. Sat down right away and was quickly approached by our waitress. It may seem intimate because of the lighting, but it is actually a low down key hangout. For dinner we had the Truffle tre Fungi. Good pizza and good size for 2 people. It is a good place to stop by for a drink and a quick bite.

Late night pizza near gum wall

By William Stu W |

We were looking for a place to have some food following a Seattle Mariners game and chanced upon the Alibi Room. They have an eclectic variety of pizza; we had grapes and blue cheese - fabulous.

Hideaway

By Cindy G |

Truly a secret hideaway. Turn directly away from the gum wall. A nice adult corner of the market with good casual food and underground DJ'a

Nice Happy Hour!

By TahitiZ |

We were looking for a place to have a drink after our gourmet walking food tour and we wandered past the gum wall and into the Alibi Room. The bar is a bit dark and had a unusual smell. My husband thought it might be cheese, which would make sense as they were serving tons of pizza. There was a happy hour going on during our visit and well drinks were $4.75 and tap beer $4.50. The small bar was busy and our server was attentive. Nice stop for a drink but I might have to check out the pizza next time!

Only place for late night food in downtown Pikes area

By bruce p |

This is located by Pike's Market down the stairs and one of the alleys. You really going to know what you're looking for to find this place. It is the only place to get late night food in downtown Pike Market area. They specialize in pizza and it is a bar so you can get drinks. Service wasn't very friendly or prompt. Food was okay. All in all it's what you'd expect for a late night pizza joint bar.

Brew & Pizza

By I_Relax |

Just a chill place. If you’re at the gum wall you have to stop by for a brew, or two or more, and a pizza. The crew is always great.

Oh ya a local gang at Pikes market!!!

By glfseattle |

This is a great five bar next to the gum wall in a below market level alley (need I say more?). Go for happy hour and enjoy great Pizza at a baron price. The atmosphere is great (it's not a place for views except on the inside :). It's a comfortable place and as a local I enjoy the food, staff and random patrons.

Great local dive in Pike Place!!

By JOEG47Seattle |

Heard about this place from a friend. It is located on Post alley right in the middle of the gum wall area. Very understated entry. Inside was awesome. Amazing service (thanks Evelyn) with great drinks and food. Nailed the caesar salad and pizza. Quick without being pushy. Pretty affordable for the area. Great vibe. Definitely will be on the rotation and is a solid recommendation.

Best Pizza in Seattle

By Bigdog313 |

This is a hidden gem. A little hard to find on the West side of the Gum Wall. Small sign over hidden doorway but worth the hunt. Recomended to me by hotel doorman. Great Pizza And light bar food. Fun bartender in interesting setting.

A little hidden gem

By Kate Rothwell |

We went to Alibi for the second time the other night. It was out first time having food, and it did not disappoint. We stumbled upon Alibi on one of our Seattle trips in the past and just went in for a drink. The atmosphere was really nice and welcoming so we decided to go back for dinner. We did a half and half pizza and the cookie dessert. The food was delicious, there wasn’t a scrap left on the plates. The waitress was nice enough to let us know that their pizza serve 2/3 people, as we were ordering one each, so we opted for half and half. This was the perfect amount. Their cocktail menu is also very extensive, with great options. I had the Moscow Mule, and I would highly recommend. Overall the atmosphere in Alibi is really nice, chilled and cosy, with great food and very good service!

Great hangout near Market!

This spot is located near the Gum Wall. The vibe inside is cool and the happy hour isn't bad either. The fire grilled pizza was haut enough for two and rather good! Worth a stop and off the beaten path enough to feel local.

Great Pizza and great service

By Yvesg |

This is a great place to have a beer and a yummy pizza. Yes this is not a typical upscale restaurant, this is just like a local bar and for what it serve its worth it to try it.

Good value, Excellent food!

By elm7501 |

A local recommended this place and we loved it! Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but great small ambience on the inside and the food was great! We got pizza and salad!!

Quick drink at the gum wall

By PNW Guys |

At the bottom of a long staircase at the entrance of pike market is a unique little bar. Dark, cozy, and delicious. The menu is a surprisingly diverse item. The mushroom pizza it out of this world. That and a mule was a great break from the bustling market.

Good spot

By Global680244 |

Great beer, great pizza and good service. This place stands out as being a bit different from other downtown locations.

Great Service, Margaritas and Pizza!

By Cindy G |

The Alibi Room was located near the "famous" Gum Wall. We had great service, margaritas, and pizza. The atmosphere was clean, inviting, relaxing, and genuinely pleasant. We will go back the next time we are in Seattle.

Different

By Gary J |

We ate here after reading TA reviews and weren't disappointed. It's very dark in the bar but it's obviously popular as it was pretty busy. We had the spicy Mac n Cheese which was delicious.

Great thin crust pizza in Pike Place!

By Kendu24 |

I had my eye on this place from the beginning of our vaca time in Seattle. Knowing that our visit would be dominated by great, fresh seafood, I knew we would need a break. We weren't disappointed. Crust, sauce, cheese and toppings were perfectly balanced. That combo equates to a great tasting pie! This spot could (or was) have been a priori speakeasy, based on its location, but that is part of the charm. Also, the staff is very attentive and spot on on doing their duties (the place is small enough to watch them all). Great location (located in gum alley), away from the bustle of the market. I would definitely recommend!

Excellent experience!

By Lisa Z |

Great pizza and cocktails! This was a fun evening for us and we would definitely eat here again. We shared a Ceasar salad and a large pizza, plus cocktails. Everything was excellent and the service was great.

Good Food, Terrible Service

By JO2017 |

If this review was based strictly on the food, I would give this place 4 or 5 stars. However, I wouldn't recommend it, due to the very rude, disrespectful, unfriendly and inattentive service. The quality of service tends to be particularly poor when eating in the bar area. I would strongly recommend eating at their Greenwood location instead.

Excellent option for late dinner

By 83SK |

We went to a concert and looked for dinner options available at 10pm. This place was recommended by another employee restaurant (that was already closed at that time) and even though the way to get there looked sketchy, it was totally safe and well worth it. You have to go through the gum wall and it's right over there. Gluten free crust option available made my visit! Rustic pizza was amazing too. Totally recommend it!

Late dinner

By Wperume |

Very good base pizza. Crust and sauce were classic. If you like lots of interesting toppings, then this is your place. Good beer. A little dark and busy. Interesting atmosphere.

A Happy hour well spent !!

By Prateek M |

Went there will a couple of friends for Lunch. Location: The restaurant's gate is right there in the (in)famous bubblegum wall near the Pike Place Market. Very easy to locate. Ambience: A relatively small place with nice wooden furniture with lighting slightly on the darker side. Food: We ordered a crab-dip for the starters with a couple of drinks. The bread-sticks were garlic'y' and the crab dip itself was delicious. Perfectly complemented our drinks. For the main course we ordered a large pizza with blue cheese, berries and rocket leaves. I usually don't eat pizza with sweet toppings but this one just worked and tasted quite good. Service: The service was quite prompt Price: For a starter, 3-4 drinks and a pizza we paid around $55-$60 which was slightly on the expensive side for me

Old School Bar

By Mike O |

Nice and cozy old school bar located on Post alley, aka Ghost Alley, The alibi Room is a nice escape from the Pikes Place crowds. Wether just a cocktail or some lunch you cannot go wrong. With excellent service and some good drinks they provide a nice resting spot. It is directly across from the Gum Wall.

Great food, fun ambiance, great service

By quakigotu |

Found this place at the advice of a local and was not disappointed. It's tucked away right by the gum wall and is great to enjoy a late night dinner and drinks. They make killer pizza and have a great cocktail selection. The service was on point and they gave us more recommendations which resulted in an interesting night!

If you’re near Pike Street try this place

By Mragan22 |

This intimate restaurant is just below the famous Pike Street Market “fish throw”. Their pizza was terrific. Very good service. Try the Ranier beer.

Great pizza and happy hour

By hawktraveler8 |

This is right by the gum wall and was recommended to us by another bartender. We shared a pizza and had a few happy hour drinks one afternoon. Nice and relaxing; friendly customer service.

Excellent pizza

By chr2222 |

The Alibi room has excellent pizza and a charming ambiance. Near the wall of chewing gum, it's a good place to meet with friends and family, and to enjoy good food and drink.

Dark little hole in the wall

By Jennifer M |

This place is the perfect dark little hole in the wall. It’s near the gum wall alley. Down the stairs from the pig statue in the front entrance of Pike Place Market. We went for happy hour and a quick bite to eat. I only had gin and tonics and my friend had a salad. Both were good. And because we’re old, we went home early.

Amazing!

By SpicyMomma86 |

The service was amazing and the food was even better! We got the chicken jalapeño pizza to split. It was like the best street tacos on bread I've ever had! They don't have ranch but they have the most amazing blue cheese I've ever tasted! Went perfect with the pizza!

Think speakeasy

By JDrisk |

This little hidden eatery is dark and small; has a retro vibe. We only had cocktails and an appetizer but the pizza that was being served around us, smelled and looked incredible! What we order was great! The place was hopping and fun!

Calzones

By Rachael B |

Came here for dinner while at the pikes place market. My friend and I both got calzones which were reasonably priced. They will turn any of the pizzas into a calzone so we got the Margarita Pizza and the spinach, mushroom, and feta Pizza. One person can eat a whole calzone. Service was good and the atmosphere is friendly.

Dark and Mysteriously Fun

By Pat P |

First of all, we loved the name of the place! It is tucked away in the twists and turns of Pike Place Market. It's dark ambiance suggests the guilty pleasure of needing an alibi and having this eatery serve as such! We had drinks and a pizza. Both were good. By the time we left the place was very crowded, showing that it is a well known alibi for many! I'd go again.

Hidden Gem!

By S46MACKY |

This place was definitely a hidden gem. Located down the alley where the gum wall is, you might miss it if you blink. They had great local beers and delicious pizzas. The happy hour was really well priced and I was very pleased with my meal. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quick place to grab a bite and a beer while you are out exploring.

Mixed emotions

By Melon |

The hostess was less than pleasant, simply advised us, over her shoulder, to seat ourselves, as she continued her more important personal conversation. Once seated, we waited to be acknowledged, then finally received menus after asking for them. We ordered the Ginger Paloma, which was delicious. However, the wait staff never came back to ask if we wanted anything else. The bathroom was sketchy, but in a thriller movie sort of way. Not sure if that's good or bad, you decide. You will never run out of TP, which is a good thing. So in closing, good drink, crap service, endless TP.

Very good pizza

By joy12Blairsville_GA |

Was visiting Pike Place Market for the first time and had been told by a girlfriend that we "had" to have a meal at The Alibi Room. I'm so glad she recommended it. After mixing with the crowds on the busy streets and stores of the Market it was a very welcome relief to have a nice meal and to sit a spell. My husband and I shared a pizza which was cooked in a brick oven in a small area beside the bar and in view of the main dining area. Very tasty with a crispy crust. The restaurant is on a street called Post Alley which was made with cobblestones from the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, brought to Seattle on lumber ships that were using the stones and rubble for ballast. The restaurant and bar is dark with exposed bricks and beams and very interesting in itself. Great pizza and service.

Really great food!

By bmcosu |

The Alibi Room was perfect for what we were looking for- really good food at a reasonable price. We got the classic, pepperoni with cheese. It was delicious- the crust was crispy and the pepperoni was great. Service was good as well. We loved the atmosphere, too.

Great Pizza, Great venue

By Greg S |

This was a very lovely place , clean and tidy , the atmosphere was great our Aussie Accent gave us away and we made new friends quickly, the pizzas here were delicious and happy to recommend

Dark little corner tucked away...

By Wanderer |

Friend showed me this place for lunch. Its right next to the gum wall which I'm always in awe of as I walk by and obviously missed this place thats been right in front of my face for 39 years! Happy hour starts at noon and runs to 6 PM. That worked out as I got a medium sized pizza for $6 and it was wood fired and tasty good! You wont find that value many places in Seattle. Great little nook that I'll be heading back to for dinner.

NOT a Tourist Spot.

By Steve D |

Asked for recommendation for a “locals” spot downtown Seattle and was directed here. When I found out it was in Pikes Place Market I argued saying I didn’t want a tourist trap - I wanted a Locals place. Go they said - so I went. Hard to find unless directed (down alley by chewing gum and just a doorway on the right) - small - dark - mostly empty (diners were separated so they had space). Had their all meat pizza. Very Very Good. But their Mac’nCheese..... Out of This World - made there (not some canned / boxed mess) with tons of cheese - and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper for just a little kick. Good bar - Fantastic Service - and best of all, no obnoxious tourists I was in Seattle for 8 days - ate here two nights in a row. So if you are a tourist looking for a place to eat - stay away - let’s keep this place a locals secret.

Great Pizza and Atmosphere

By gary c |

We had a team dinner the first night in Seattle and we went to the Alibi Room near Pikes Market. It was really good. We had several pizza and they were great. I had a wedge salad and it was really good. A lot of us had Washington wines, especially from the Yakima Valley and they were super. Our server was the best as there were about 20 of us at a big table. Service really was super and it really was just a cool place to hang out, watch people, eat good food, and have some super drinks!!!!! It’s located at Pike’s Market!!!!

Cool, eclectic place for a cocktail

By Ron W |

Stopped in at the Alibi Room a couple of times during a recent visit to Seattle. A great bar located near Pike Market, down the alley with the Gum Wall. The space, while not big, was ample enough for a couple or a group to socialize, grab a drink or a bite to eat. Muted lighting, cool and a little eclectic. Bartenders know their stuff and can mix up any concoction you desire. The only drawback is hiking down the stairs to get to the bathroom. My son had a broken foot and it was a struggle for him to get up and down the stairs. Overall, Loved it.

Nice place

By Brandy D |

We had the brie and apple plate, as well as a hummus plate. VERY VERY Good. Could not stop eating.,,

Great lunch and service

By atank81 |

We came across this place last time we were in Seattle and had their pizza. This time we decided to stop in again for lunch after walking up from the aquarium. Feels like a local spot even being near the market and the gum wall. This time we had their lunch special sandwhiches. I had the meatball and my husband had the Italian. I loved mine and my husband loved his. Service was great. Overall an enjoyable lunch and break from the walking and tourist crowds

Hidden Gem with great pizza!

By Sandi H |

We were looking for something different and we certainly found it, but not without a little help. We found this place on google and after walking around Pikes Place Market, we could not find it. We called and found out that we were standing on the floor above it. There is really no signage telling you that it is there, but it is well worth finding. The pizza is incredible!

Pizza!

By Cassidy144 |

Stopped by late night for drinks and ended up ordering a pizza with chorizo and roasted potato. Divine! My husband declared it the best pizza he'd ever eaten-- in any country. Wow! High praise indeed for this dark, hidden cellar's wood-fired pies. Do check out the Alibi Room-- the owner was tending bar the night we were there, and he was so friendly and full of great stories and tips. Fun, random fact: don't miss the Hollywood scripts by the front door-- left over from the previous (actor) owners. This is really a cool spot.

Delicious pizza

By 491aimel |

This is a great place for affordable wood fire pizza & casual bar. Within walking distance of the ferry terminal and right next to the gum wall & Pike Place Market. I've dined here 4 times and had a consistently positive experience - even now include this place when showing out of town friends & family the Seattle area. No matter someone's dietary limitations you can get affordable tasty food. The hummus plate is awesome here and for gluten sensitive- just ask for all veggies and no pita & the wait staff is flexible & happy to accommodate. The Brie plate is also wonderful & can be made without bread upon request. I brought my 15-year-old niece here for lunch & she loved 'building her own pizza'- which was positively delicious. The brick walls, tiny windows & local art on the walls gives it a real 'speak easy feel'. Brought my husband here mid day after going to the art museum and could experience the darker romantic atmosphere even at noon. I love this place and it is now a staple on my Seattle visits. Give it a try on your next visit!

A great find!

By Emma O |

Loved this little dark, back alley pizza place. Had a really cool vibe, great music, and the service and pizzas were awesome. So glad we found this place, given its location I am surprised it wasn't packed out but also really glad that it wasn't!

Amazing!

By Cale L |

First night ever I visited Seattle, my girlfriend and I ate a sushi feast and then went for a long walk and stumbled upon Alibi Room.. We went in for drinks, which were fantastic... And while I was sitting at the bar with her I smelled the most AMAZING smells.. I looked over to see that there are two guys in a tiny kitchen with a wood fired oven cranking out artisanal pizza.. I wasn't anywhere NEAR hungry, but I wanted one bad. I told my girlfriend that we were coming there for dinner the next day. We did.. The pizza I got had pear, prosciutto and Gorgonzola cheese and some fresh baby arugula topping it.. Wow.. Just so darn good.. Their specialty drink menu is fantastic too.. Go.. Eat... Enjoy

What I can remember, we had fun! When in Seattle you need to try Everything once! Good drinks, food....

Great lunch - great pizza

By Mark N |

Frequent visitor but first time for lunch. Just from a 10 hour intercontinental flight straight to the alibi room. Great lunch!

That s My Alibi

By Pat McCabe |

Alibi Room is a hidden gem atthe Market Place Excellent Service and Great Pizza God lol for meeting people

Great Little Place Downstairs

By redhead_roaming |

I've been here on two separate occasions - alumni meeting and clubbing - both downstairs. The people are very nice and friendly. The stairs are unfortunate if you've been drinking but it's a smaller intimate space to have fun. I've never eaten there/hung out upstairs but it seems really nice. The music was great. The location is a little difficult if you're not familiar - down the alley of the gum wall.

Dark and moody and yummy

By Shawna B |

Our first trip to Seattle was filled with recommendations from friends, and this little pizza place was one of the best. It’s a “blink and you miss it” type of establishment, one that you pretty much have to be looking for. The hardest part was deciding which pizza to order. Because we were hungry after a day of walking, we started off with a delicious salad. Plenty of seating inside, it’s larger than it looks. We'll definitely go back the next time we’re in Seattle.

Quick bite to eat

By wakelang |

Located right near Gum Wall in Post Alley. We had pizza and salad. The crust was fresh. Pizza was pretty good. Salad was also fresh. Dark inside. It has a bar. Friendly waitress.

Funky Hideaway Bar with Great Pizza

By GEMWorking |

The concierge at our hotel recommended this place for a late night pizza dinner. It was a dark bar tucked away in/under the market area. We enjoyed the change of pace and the Pizza was very good. If you're in the area looking for somewhere to go late night check it out.

Tucked away and mostly locals

By Helmut |

A friend dragged me into the Alibi Room. I was surprised to find a bar in the middle of Pike Place Market that was not overrun with tourists. You enter via the chewing gum alley, by the way. Drinks were average (as I would expect from any bar) and ambience nice. But not a place I would make a detour for.

Cool bar tucked away in Post Alley

By Kim W |

This is right where the famous Gum wall is. It's small pub with really good food. Bartender very friendly & they played awesome music.

Proper Bar in Seattle.

By My views |

A proper bar in Seattle. Step inside and you can feel this place has a real bar feel with all the charm of a well run establishment. We unexpectedly caught the tail end of Happy Hour and I enjoyed a couple of jars of very nice ale. We sat at the bar and exchanged pleasantries with our ‘neighbours’ just like it always happens when you speak English in an American bar. Whisky and Whiskey lovers would appreciate the good range of Scottish Whisky and Irish Whiskeys.

Great cocktails

By Roxy_Calgary |

On a work trip with customers and after taking them to the gum wall stopped in for drinks. The drinks were great but the appetizers we had were amazing. We enjoyed the crab dip and roasted garlic. Next time will be back for their pizza. Great atmosphere!

Dark hole in the Wall

By Amy G |

Bar and restaurant off alley... beside the gum wall in pike place market. You can Go down stairs by fish market right inside the main pike place market entrance..look for sign by stairs. We went in for quick drink at the gorgeous wooden bar. Watched them make wood fired pizza. Lots of people there eating so assume food was good..sure smelled like it.

Really good pizza

By Tanya B |

Small, quaint restaurant/bar with great pizza. We ordered a 1/2 Sausage & Basil and 1/2 Pine & Swine pizza. It was really good pizza. Fast service and good drinks. My husband was really, really hungry so he also ordered a Meatball sandwich, which came with a really good salad that I had the pleasure of eating. Really good. I would recommend this place for a great drink and pizza.

Late Night Availability

By Douglas B |

We arrived at Seattle airport around 7:00 p.m. and at the downtown hotel around 8:00 p.m. Walked around a bit to find something to eat. Only place we could find open after 9:00 p.m. was the Alibi Room, recommended by a couple of police officers guarding Pike Place Market. What a wonderfully pleasant surprise. Food was awesome and a real rustic atmosphere.

Great venue, Great Pizza, Great atmosphere

By happy_traveller5791 |

Right in the tourist area of pike place market but not mad busy like some places. Dimly lit and atmospheric with great music playing. Pizza were tasty and good size - nice thin and crispy base like in Italy! Def worth the visit.

I would drive 100 miles for this pizza!!!

By Laurie A |

The Goat Cheese, Prosciutto and Arugula pizza and Gluten Free Pepperoni Pizza were a highlight of our trip. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for a great dinner at the Alibi Room, Seattle!

Hidden Gem

By SHAWNA B |

Fast and reliable service. Great beer selection. Interesting pizza options but they work. If you can push your way past the dumb people outside taking pictures of the gross Gum Wall it's worth it!

Terrific evening

By jdcos |

Family ate here Sunday evening prior to the improv show across the alley at Unexpected Productions. It was a great atmosphere in the dark but quiet lost alley with all the hustle and bustle above us in the pike place market. The pizza was awesome and there was great service. I was surprised to see that their happy hour extended to weekends, including Sundays since I typically come into the city on Sundays. I have lived here for 30 years and upset I did not discover this place sooner.

Great place for a beer, food and conversation!

By JrMushroom |

I met up with an old friend here the other month, I had forgotten about it until now. It was that good! It is just up "gum alley"- and you may need a beer just to get over that! A great selection of beer, good atmosphere and pizza. A good local spot.

Late night hunger!!

By gosainofficial |

If you are searching for great pizza n food late night, its the best place to be!! The pizza were awesome!! Also we were able to find the gum wall🙂

Very yummy pizza

By FuzzyBeaver |

This restaurant is easy to miss hidden in an alley adjacent to Pike Place but is worth finding for their pizza. It is just a short distance from the gum wall. They have a wood-burning oven and use very high quality ingredients. They have a great selection of beers and wines by the glass. Definitely worth a visit if you want good food and a a not-too-touristy place. Check Google maps or their website for current open hours.

Late night dinner

By Chasesunrise |

My wife and I ( recently married ) checked in to our Hotel and went to the bar for a drink. The Bar Attendant recommended Alibi Room for great staff, drinks and food.. Local knowledge payed off! Great service and awesome food ! Well priced wines you won't go wrong here! If you want a place were the locals visit and you won't see many tourists this is your place! Make sure you bring some Crewing gum to leave on the wall outside the Alibi Room.

Great different option in the market area

By pikagrass |

I really liked the Alibi room. I've been to the market 100's of times and never stopped in. Frankly, I didn't even know it was there. It's by the gum wall, which I avoid but the bar seems to largely avoid the standard market traffic. We stopped in for an afternoon drink and were pleasantly surprised. The bar is clean and has an inviting atmosphere. In fact, one wouldn't even know this was adjoining the market from inside. It has a dark tavern like feel and nice fixtures etc. The bartender was friendly and attentive and the drinks were solid. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the food, but the pizza honestly looked fresh and amazing! I'll be back to try a pizza. It definitely got busy as the day wore on but seemed more of a local crowd than walk by tourists, which I appreciated. Definitely give this place a shot if you want something a little different in the market area.

Great 'za!

By Nicolle Z |

A hole in the wall - dingy, dark, small. BUT GREAT PIZZA! I think this must be where the locals go. Staff and service were great and it wasn't too crowded.

pizza and night club

By Tobbs V |

the pizza at this place is very delicious. a bit dark for my taste, not much lighting. like all the other reviews, this place is kinda hidden. it was sketchy to go down a semi-dark alley to find this place. then seeing the gum alley/wall. the biggest surprise is that, there's a basement level which is a dance floor and dj.

What a find! (For us, being our first time)

By Tim98166 |

I am sure the Alibi Room has been there for a very long time, and we have walked by it many, many times. But this last weekend we went! What a cool place. Laid back atmosphere, kinda dark, kinda rustic. Not too big, and not too small. Great jazz playing Sunday afternoon on their sound system, which by the looks of it, it is more then just background music when they want it to be real. The waitress was excellent! I asked her for her favorite 3 things, and that is what we ordered - all great! Throw in a couple of Manny's Pale Ales, and that was tops! The pizza looks great - we had the "Green Eggs and Ham" which has an egg on it that ends up looking like a fried egg, then it has pesto (the green) along with thin ham. Very yummy! We also had the apples/brie and flat bread (i think it was flatbread) - That was very good too, The apples very thinly sliced with a thin caramel-like drizzle on them. Then the spicy mac-n-cheese. We ordered all 3 but should have stuck to 2 as it was a lot of food. And it was Happy hour too! Woo Hoo!

Food was good but couldn't get past the smell

By Keedran T |

The restaurant was hard to find, but once we did the food was good. Happy hour mini pizzas were good. Muffuletta sandwich was good but not near an original. My big beef was the place smelled AWFUL. Hard to eat in a place with this smell. Plus they charge you for every side etc. you order. Side of ranch? $1. Refill on a kids drink? $1. Service was insanely slow.

Hidden Gem Underneath Pike Street Market

By djcollie03 |

I make Alibi Room a stop every time I'm in Seattle. It's hidden in an alley underneath Pike Street Market next to the Gum Wall. Cool dark atmosphere with great beer selection and really good food. Definitely a hidden gem and worth checking out. Good way to get away from the big crowds at the Market and recharge.

Fantastic Cozy Bar

By LonePalm07 |

The Alibi Room is great, it's located in the same alley as the gum wall and it could be hard to find if your not paying attention. Definitely stop in for a drink and if your hungry their pizzas are very good. Make sure you get the pizza that has the arugula on it. When most things around Pikes Place are closed later in the evening this is the place to go.

Excellent pizza, great service

By ajs4travel |

Pizza place right below Pike Place market, small dark & cozy. We had the andouille & peppers pizza and Kilt-Lifter draft beer, both very good. This was recommended by local vendors and well-founded as we discovered. Wood-fired oven, crust was just right.

Vacation

By frankvasz |

We were in Seattle for a few days and happened to stop by alibi room they had some great pizza and calzones. Met some good regulars and the bartenders were friendly. Enjoyed our time out there. I would recommend that you stop on in if you are in town. Enjoy.

Delicious, underrated pizza spot

By United_Chick |

We came across this restaurant after some online reviews. It can be hard to find. It's across from the gum wall. Just keep walking down the alley until you get to a door that I think is barely marked. The inside is dark, even in the middle of the day, but it's super cool. Everything is dark wood and there's some hipster art on the wall. Service was quick and everyone was attentive if not overly friendly. The menu is pretty large for a pizza joint. A lot of very unusual toppings. Three of us ended up splitting two pizzas and a couple of appetizers. The pizzas are thin crust and on the smaller side, but they're perfectly cooked and have rich toppings so you're not left hungry. They also had a good happy hour and a solid beer selection with both local craft options as well as the usual American pilsners. It seems like this spot isn't hyped enough. It's a nice break from all the seafood restaurants and I'd definitely recommend it.

Cozy Dark Bar to Meet a Sweetie

By K C |

We were checking out the gum wall, when I saw this little hole in the wall. This place is pretty cool for being on an alley. A bit dark, but cool and comfortable. Good selection of beer and booze, friendly bartender and the cutest barmaid... Definitely something to do again.

Great spot

By Laesmith26 |

Friend of a friend recommended this place, and after a little difficulty finding the spot (it's right off gum alley) we were glad we did. It's a rustic little bar with a really cool vibe. We shared a large salad and pizza with two glasses of wine in happy hour. The staff were lovely and the food was made right in front of us, was fresh and tasty. Couldn't have asked for more- worth a visit!

Character

By Dana S |

This place has character and an original ambiance. We had a pizza that was tasty and original. Service staff was efficient for a hopping little place.

Great Pizza

By Bridstow |

We had been to Alibi Room once before and enjoyed a great pizza. The restaurant is accessed through its main door across from Seattle's famous gum wall. This was a late evening visit. Arriving at around 10:00pm we were informed that there was about a 20 minute wait for a table. Given a great experience last time we chose to sit and eat at the bar rather than go elsewhere or wait. We ordered an Andouille Sausage & Peppers Pizza that was freshly cooked in the restaurants brick oven. It was well worth the wait and went well with our cold Budweiser and Hoeggarden beers. This is a vibrant, thriving and friendly restaurant that opens from 12:00pm to 2:00am. The kitchen is open until 1:00am. Happy Hour is 12:00pm to 6:00pm. It was the only restaurant we visited that asked to see our ID on entry. We'll be back.

Great pizza and atmosphere

By Jeff L |

The Alibi Room had great happy hour specials...a mini signature pie for half...plus the location was right by the market. I heard about the gum wall, but had no idea that the Alibi Room was right off that "attraction". Service was great, as was the food. Seattle food is much more expensive than at home, so it was good to find a reasonable value. So good, that we visited twice during our trip.
