Great place a meal and drink. Service was excellent, thank you Max. Music was just right, great play list. Food and drinks were on point. I’ll be back for sure.

Cold food. Sent it back. Came back one minute later cold. They didn’t even try to hear it up. Appetizers and main meal came out at same time. Server had 6 top and could care less about taking care of us. Told me they deducted a meal for our trouble and got the check and no meal was deducted. Manager stopped by even though server told him what was going on twice. Will NEVER go back!!!

Lovely outdoor dining with nice menu selections. Max provided excellent service. Good vibe.great place for people watching.

Stopped by today and had a really lovely lunch. The food and drinks were delicious and hit the spot. Our server Max made great suggestions, was attentive, providing impeccable service. We appreciated the thoughtful details of the restaurant and the presentation of the meal.

1- small margaritas that at $20 not even really. Just fake juice. Had the fajitas only like 6 small pieces of meat rest was peppers and onion.

We came here to celebrate our friend’s birthday and we had a complaint. The drinks weren’t filled fully, but then Armando, the manager showed up and took care of us. Armando went above and beyond by offering to our birthday friend a Cadillac Margarita complementarily Cheers to Armando and Alma restaurant’s team

The place is an excellent choice of Mexican food. All very rich dishes and excellent service. Very nice atmosphere.

My family and I were on an all day tour of Los Angeles when we were told we only had an hour to grab lunch at the Farmers Market. We tried to get in a couple of places but most of the restaurants had a wait. We walked up toe Alma’s and they were about to seat us upstairs which was wonderful since it was 100 degrees outside. Our server was Roberto. What a nice man. We explained how we only had 40 minutes to order, eat and pay. He assured us he could handle the assignment, and he did. There were two menus on the table, the regular menu and a brunch menu. My daughter and I ordered off the brunch menu, waffles and French toast. I am only sorry we didn’t take pictures because the dishes were beautifully arranged when they came to the table. And boy were they delicious. Other family members ordered tacos, Huevos Con Chorizo, and Carnitas. Everything was wonderful. I have to say my youngest (and picky-east) fell in love with the refried beans. She said they were so creamy. I only wish we lived closer so that we could come back weekly.

Came here after a hike up the Hollywood sign and the frozen margarita was JUST WHAT WE NEEDED! Food was great, our server, Max, was so attentive and made our experience even better. Sat by the waterfall at the grove , was a lovely way to spend lunch in LA.

Max is the best server! We really enjoyed our leisurely lunch. Order the Churros they are delicious! Quierme much is a great drink

Food was all cold very bland and they have so many up charges. The only good thing was the salsa. Over priced and the service was horrible too No wonder the restaurant was empty

Alma was a beautiful venue with great service and delicious food. A must when visiting the grove or staying in Hollywood.

Service by Bri and Armando was great. Big shout-out to them for the recommendations and conversation. Great patio, good view of the fountains. Enchiladas are 🫠 so good. Love the salsa. Honestly, just the chips and salsa taste and flavor were good enough to be a meal

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food. Flavor that will make you look around to say Wow!!!! Service that is only seen is luxury hotels. Music that makes you feel like home. The variety of drinks to fulfill all backgrounds. The decor of beautiful Mexico. Then this is it. You don’t need to look more. I love this restaurant and it’s other chains.

Stopped here for dinner after a day of exploration. The food was absolutely delicious (especially the enmoladas, enchiladas, guacamole, and churros) and the drinks were good as well. The service was fast and the waitstaff were personable. The prices are on the higher end, but given the location it is to be expected especially since the quality of food is decently high.

We came for my grandma’s birthday and are so happy to have to have chosen this restaurant! Max our server was so kind, and had the best energy! He was helpful with our food decisions and at the end brought us an amazing cake for my grandma and sang so wonderfully! Our seating was great and the weather was perfect. A perfect day at the grove with my family!

Dined here tonight on a business trip while out running errands. Service was great. Outdoor covid-resistant dining. And wow were the chicken fajitas great! Fresh tender tortillas. Flavorful and fresh fillings without a hint of sogginess. Outstanding.

Very buzzy restaurant, but for a lunch it's perfect, especially if you are craving for Mexican food like we were. The menu is great and you can find all the usual Mexican dishes. The service is great. The place is very noisy but this is Mexico! We enjoyed the lunch anyway.

This is simply a heads up for people stopping in for a coffee so that you don’t make the same mistake I did. I stopped into Alma at the Grove with my daughter for a double espresso, standing at the bar. I didn’t check the menu, and after the two coffees, the bill for two double espressos was $34.17. It’s more than i could ever imagine for 2 coffees, and I travel globally and live overseas. Just be careful if you go there, and check the prices before you commit.

As Los Angeles residents for decades, my wife and I have experienced a variety of Mexican restaurants. Some become favorites, others peak and fade. We have been deprived of top-notch Mexican food UNTIL The other day strolling through The Grove we discovered Alma. We'll be returning to Alma for the next decade, at least. Beyond a beautiful setting and a very competent and attentive waitstaff, the food was magnificent. We had beef and pork tacos, accompanied by rice and beans. Delicious. Alma has large wine, beer and dessert list also. We'll be back!
