AltaToro was a one of the few restaurant experiences where the food matched the aesthetics!!! The marrying of flavors reflected the balanced pairing of sweet, sour and salt I've only experienced when visiting Central and South America. Our party went with the tapas. Started with guacamole. It was perfect! Lime juice, avocados, salt clearly mixed not mashed for a creamy dip with beveled avocado chunks. The garnish of onion gave a pickled bite. The chip were served tostada style giving us the satisfying experience of snapping our own chips. The flautas stuffed with ahi tuna was plated with crema and black bean puree was gourmet experience and was the perfect herald of freshness and authenticity. Pair it with the seasonal frozen Margarita composed of pomegranate and pineapple. No fruit overpowered the other and delightfully shone through. Next we went with the cerviche and were no disappointed at all! It was served with Leche de trige. The cilantro infused oil provided the herbal zip that slighlty curbed the bright citrus. It was served with crispy thin plantain chips. The dish made us for get we were dining in a landlocked city. The drinks were exceptional. La Llorona -lovely mix of mezcal and aperol with a pleasantly intense smokey finish. Amor Latino- my favorite of the night! A coconut water, lime and tequila elixir not easily replicated I'm sure. We also had steak tar-tar with taro crisps, beef empanandas and patatas bravas. All were splendid! The service was next level. Uriel was well verse in all things AltaToro and guided use throught the resturant's offerings with sincerity. He was the sole reason we opted for desert. The tequila ice cream and coconut bread pudding. The art installation of a wide towering was an event in itself! Every time you took it in you discovered a new detail. The entire experience was delightful. Thanks Yawl!

Thanksgiving brunch… so wonderful! The staff…WONDERFUL!!! The food….OUTSTANDING. There was such an array of food that was so good. Impressed by the food but the staff was fantastic!!!!! If we needed it, it was there! I saw what I think were maybe managers hustling along with all staff to make sure all of us had a fantastic Thanksgiving dining experience. What slso impressed me…our reservation was early so we got I and got seated but I noted that even as we were leaving there wa nobody hanging around waiting to be seated !!! Great Efficiency!!!! Great Staff!! Great Food ! Plus the tree in the dining room offered excellent photo ops!!!tThank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving dining experience!

Great new restaurant in Midtown Atlanta, Mariah was our awesome server. With flamenco 💃 entertainment, great unique drinks, avocado Margarita, yummy 😋 and also great food. We had the charcuterie, Gambas and Octopus, all were fantastic but the octopus was perfection.

Came on a whim. Definitely make reservations if coming for dinner or coming on the weekend. They have valet right in front or you can park on the street one block away. Started with the guacamole and the beef empanadas. Both were fresh and very good. The only suggestion I'd give is to serve the guac with more tortilla chips, since it's a big serving of guac. Five tortillas just weren't enough, and they do charge you if you request more. For entrees I had the Pollo al Horno(Chicken Mole), and my wife had the Toro Burger. Both dishes were very good. Her burger was huge, and she couldn't finish it in one sitting, so she took home leftovers. Drinks were very good, and they had live entertainment, with fire twirlers and tap dancers while a guy played electric guitar. I'd definitely come back, especially to try the brunch.

This was such an amazing experience for my 30th birthday! From start to finish all I could say was WOW! To start the hostess was very kind and quick in adding an additional person to our table when my sister surprised me with a visit! Then the outside waiting area/bar is such a nice place to take pictures with plenty of seating while our table got ready! Did I mention this place is locally owned by an ATL native? (There's so few of us left and this person GETS it) Our server Ana was AMAZING she gave great suggestions for the table and was very knowledgeable about the flavors and taste of the menu to help us decide on what to get! Pro tip: get the mussels and order extra bread! The sauce on them should be bottled and sold its so good! Speaking of which, the food here is some of the best latin food I've had in the city! So fresh so flavorful and unique! There wasn't anything that we had that we didn't really just gush over! They have live dancers performing traditional latin dances and fire work which is such a nice flare to have on a night out in Atlanta! The staff was so kind they brought out a delicious tres' leche cake with a candle for my birthday which really just kissed the night to perfection! I can't wait to come back again for the food, fun and people there!

Ambiance is astonishing, very colorful. Food is the best Latin food we had, love entertainment and staff are extremely friendly. Prices are very affordable. We will be back!!

This place is spectacular! The first impression you get from the ambient music, to the dim lighting, to the art work, is absolutely breath-taking dare I say sensual. The craft-cocktails have variety and finesse! I had the Amazon Reign that had a pink peppercorn syrup and gin. Delightful and refreshing! The server was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend some great dishes. They even have Argentinian Steaks! The food is well prepared and flavorful. From the empanadas, to the pulpo, to the Wagyu. Even the dessert selection is incredible. I had the Cinco Leches and I was scrapping my plate it was so good! The live entertainment was stunning. I've never seen Flamenco live and always wanted to. Unexpected but a happy surprise. As a Latino, I approve! It was also great to have staff that spoke Spanish. Having an upscale restaurant that native Spanish speakers can go to is such a treat to have in the Midtown area. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Excellent, creative, fun Latin fusion! Perfect Latin fusion fair with creative dishes. Yummy starters include ceviche with passion fruit sauce, empanadas, guacamole and sautéed scallops. Excellent main dishes halibut, herb crusted lamp chops and filet. Healthy options available for vegetarians too! Great salads. Servers and fire dancers were an added bonus because they were fun and very friendly/helpful. (Managers could be friendlier.) Overall restaurant ambiance beautiful and eclectic. $25 fee for bringing our own birthday cake a bit ridiculous! Parking convenient $4 Parking fee expected but offers convenience to customers. Our total experience for party of 8 was amazing!

Lamb chops is really good! It’s pleasant when food is great but also treatment. They accomodate my dog special request so he also enjoyed the food. Thank you

The food was delishious and decor is beautiful but service was ok at best... the waitress didn't really check on us , we sat without water as we came for about 15 minutes and then we only saw her when the food was brought in... the table beside us had different server who was way more attentive...

This is a lovely restaurant for dinner and drinks in Midtown! I really enjoyed the drink called Amor Latino, as well as the ambience! The guac is delicious, the empanadas are perfect , and the tamales are my fav! I also enjoyed the live performers ; they have really good flamenco dancer as well as fire performers!. I definitely recommend this restaurant, its beautiful! They offer valet parking as well

My husband and I are honestly shocked that this place is rated a 4.7. Not only was the food mediocre, but the menu contains misleading claims, and when we brought this up, there was absolutely no accountability or acknowledgment from management. Let’s start with the food: • The ceviche was overwhelmingly acidic—so much so that it drowned out any potential spice or flavor. • The mussels tasted off, almost as if they weren’t fresh. • The branzino tacos, which came highly recommended, were a disappointment. The fish was overcooked, and the tacos were smothered in a slaw that lacked any seasoning or balance. We travel often, dine globally, and cook at a high level ourselves—so we’re not new to flavor. And unfortunately, there just wasn’t any excitement or finesse in what we were served. But the real issue was with the drinks. The menu advertises cocktails made with fresh lime juice, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, etc. That’s simply not true. When we asked, we were told the bar uses concentrated juice. Why not just say “lime juice” or “lemon juice” on the menu? Why intentionally mislead customers by labeling it fresh? When we raised our concern with the manager, they didn’t seem to understand why this was an issue and said that due to the volume of guests, they couldn’t possibly use fresh juice. If that’s the case, it should be accurately reflected on the menu—because right now, it’s misleading. Overall, the experience lacked integrity, both in flavor and in honesty. We won’t be returning.

Guacamole was exceptional! CAME WITH THE BEST CORN TORTILLAS I HAVE EVER HAD! Good reasonable priced wine selection. I had Vinho verde. The grilled salmon with sunchoke purée were very good fresh and great taste. I was there on a Saturday Brunch so it was slow but the service was good. Great location in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.

Amazing new spot in Midtown! The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. The whole restaurant is covered in custom artwork and the live entertainment is a nice touch. Atlanta needed a place like this! Can’t wait to come back!
What a great time!
Great space for Business dinners with some flare! (And fire :)) We enjoyed a number of appetizers, the ceviche and guacamole were huge hits. For mains we largely shared the seafood paella, the tuna was also a hit. The atmosphere is unique, with great service, knowledgeable staff and plenty of variety. The real star was the Coconut Cinco Leches… run, don’t walk and get this! The most perfect balance of delicate sweetness, smooth and creamy with the most incredible texture… we ordered extra after we inhaled the first ones.
