Àma is one of those rare spots that makes you forget where you are — the atmosphere is transportive, evoking a breezy, coastal vibe that feels miles away from Philly. It’s intimate without being cramped, and the setting is effortlessly stylish but still laid-back. The food is fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with care. Everything we tried was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor, but the salsa flight really stood out — each one unique, balanced, and totally worth ordering (especially if you’re a chips-and-salsa person like me). Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, adding to the relaxed, welcoming vibe of the entire experience. Àma feels special but unfussy — the kind of place you could go for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or just a good meal when you want to feel like you’ve gotten away without leaving the city.
An exquisite Mexican experience
AMÁ is THE consummate Mexican experience for anyone loving Mexican cuisine. They have THE BEST in the tri-state area. Our family had several of their dishes and cocktails and all were supreme and sublime. The staff are fantastic and the owners come to guest tables to assure all is great. The establishment is well decorated and meticulously clean and authentic. Cris Mata, Roberto Medina Frankie Ramirez and Veronica Ramirez, the owners, hit a grand slam with this Mexican cuisine and atmosphere!!!!!!
