If I could give more stars

By Mrs.Pretty L |

If I could give more stars I would. Me and my family members stopped here to eat. We were just exploring the resort , so we decided to sit and eat. 1st off, our waitress Pamela was the absolute best. Although we all didn't know what we wanted at the time, she was extremely patient with us and keep checking on us to make sure we were ok. Her hospitality was so welcoming and hopefully her boss give her a raise for being such a hard worker. The food was great as well. We all still had left overs and no one had any complaints about their food. Keep up the great work. I will definitely recommend this place to all of my family members, friends and clients.

Back for Breakfast @ NYNY America!

By Charles K |

Even though I wa staying across the street @ MGM Grand, I simply HAD to stop by and get breakfast here. It's my Vegas tradition because America does breakfast SO well. It has a sophisticated NYC diner vibe and I went to College there SO it's a trip down memory lane. Unfortunately since the reopening, it NO longer is open 24/7. As a matter of fact, it's open only 7 AM to 3 PM which means NO dinner. The donut shop ALSO closes as well SO NO late night snacks! The menu was cut down from the regular offerings SO NO LOX was available which really disappointed me. However, I had the Eggs Benedict LONG ago SO I had it instead. Excellent choice as there was PLENTY to eat with 2 jumbo poached eggs served with Canadian bacon over and English muffin smothered in a light lemon Hollandaise sauce. Some crispy hashed browns on the side with a glass of juice and a pot of coffee and I was set until dinner. It's DEFINITELY the breakfast place at this end of the Vegas strip as far as I'm concerned.

Great French toast and donuts

By Tony B |

The title says it. The pancakes, bacon, and turkey club are all good, but do not stand out. The French toast is amazing. Their donuts are *really* good, especially the chocolate cake donut (chocolate on chocolate). The staff were consistently very good, which made them a 5 star instead of a 4 star.

Great food

By MrsToastie |

This restaurant is located in the New York New York Hotel where we were staying so we visited it twice. Our first night we ate here for convenience & had a sandwich. It was really good & the place has a nice diner atmosphere with a massive hanging map of America from the ceiling. You can't really see the seating from outside & it was enormous inside. We visited on our last night & had the rib eye steak deal on offer for $21.95. It was a massive steak & delicious. Service was quick. Would recommend it. We also had cake from the outside takeaway part. Also great 😁

By NitroDog |

My wife and I dined here for lunch. Located at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. She had the ham steak and eggs with hashbrowns and toast. I had an excellent Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. Yum. Excellent service. I will return very soon. I added photos of our visit.

Excellent Vegas Breakfast

By Amy B |

Fantastic food and reasonable prices. We are breakfast here twice during our recent stay. The service was outstanding both times, and the donuts are the best I’ve ever had.

Late night menu should offer more choices!!

By Travelz1129 |

We dined here twice July/Aug 2022, late at night, after 3:00am. Servers were very friendly, food delicious and reasonably priced. My only suggestion is to offer a larger menu with more choices during the late night hours. The current overnight menu is very brief. Thank you!!

Come to America for their ribeye steak promotion.

By George L |

We come to America for their ribeye steak promotion for those who enjoys a good steak dinner offered during certain hours of the day. Our waiter was a bit slow in service but extremely nice.

Good breakfast

By Val |

We enjoyed this breakfast improved French rather than 100% American. The setting is friendly the staff also. Good value for money

Preston Duke/server

By Lisa H |

Preston Duke was a terrific server. The restaurant is under construction and was horribly noisy.. Preston found us a table further from the noise and was very kind and helpful. He's a top notch employee

tasty pancakes!

By hayley_golden |

Hubby and I really enjoyed our breakfast here. Arrived super early, so not too busy. The choc chip pancakes were to die for - but what a massive portion!! All very reasonably priced too - would recommend.

Underwhelming

By Nicole P |

We planned to go here before we even arrived in Vegas because of the gigantic map of America on the ceiling - sadly, it was underwhelming along with the food. Everything was average. Customer service was good but very slow. Appeared to be only one person delivering orders to tables. Skip the donuts - they had virtually no flavor at all.

By NitroDog |

My wife and I dined here for dinner at the bar. She had the BBQ Rib Dinner with corn on the cob and baked beans. Very large portion. I had the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. YUM! The food and service were excellent. One of the best values on the Las Vegas Strip. Management should be proud!

Not Impressed at all

By Mike J |

Went there for breakfast and it wasn't very good. It's pretty hard to screw up breakfast but they managed. The coffee was like warm soapy water, my wife ordered her eggs over-easy but the top was all raw with clear slime. She couldn't eat them. And her shredded potatoes were also raw in the middle. The toast for both of us came white, it was warm but you would never know it was in a toaster. It was quite bad, they didn't get much right, EXCEPT the bill. it wasn't high but for what we received it should have been free. The one good thing was the entire staff were very polite and friendly which to me, makes up for the horrible breakfast.

great breakfast

By MIKE B |

we dined for our first breakfast. Brett our waiter was friendly, efficient and on top of things. The floor managers were also on site to make sure all was the best.

Good breakfast choice

By SJ |

Came for breakfast and enjoyed. Small queue to get in as it was a busy weekend, but the line moved quickly. Service was good and we enjoyed the food. Lovely coffee and lots of it, really needed after a night’s gambling! Wasn’t too expensive and would recommend definitely. Open 24hrs too.

Excellent food & service! Open 24 and great people watching

By misspatrick1977 |

Husband and I stopped for early breakfast. We grabbed two seats at the bar. Server was super friendly and kept refilling our water glasses. We split omelet with ham, shrooms, and onion along with a side of biscuit & gravy. Two of us split all this and still couldn't finish it all. Food came out quickly and price was very reasonable for vegas. Located inside NYNY.

Exceptional customer service.

By Livetotravel |

Fantastic customer service, we popped in for brunch sat a little while ordered drinks and then food, we had waited about 35 minutes and no drinks had arrived we thought they would come with the food no big deal we were happy chatting away 10 minutes later our drinks arrived, our food arrived not long after that, the food was hot fresh, very tasty and yes large, we didn't think much to the very slow service as we could see how busy they were, once we finished up the manager came over to say they had wavered the check as our server had noticed how long we had waited. We were shocked to say the least! We thanked her and left an extra tip. We wanted to say Thank you to the server and the manager can't remember her name but we know it began with an A your manager will remember we are sure. It was so nice to know that there is still good customer service and nice people still working in Vegas,we felt nickel and dimed a lot on this visit with poor service as an added extra! I will be staying at New York new york in June with a friend and hopefully with my husband in September we will definitely be visiting "America" again Once again thank you for exceptional service 😊 ❀

worst food ever had at America

By Brenda L |

I always go to America Restaurant because I loved the food. HOWEVER, this last trip it was terrible every day. I went for breakfast, dinner and lunch. The last day was the worst. I asked for eggs over medium, bacon, toast and hashbrowns. The eggs came out with the white clear and yuck. The hashbrowns were so overcooked they were uneatable. The toast was stale and cold. I sent it back and got hard eggs so overcooked uneatable. I just left at that point. Hire a cook who actually wants the job it is obvious the people in the kitchen hate their job. sorry I really bragged about this restaurant to hubby, now on our next trip we will not eat at America.

OUR DAILY STOP

By RON B |

Having tried Dennys and not being impressed we tried the breakfast here and decided it was going to be our daily start to the day. Breafast menu was good and a reasonable price considering we were in LV. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful. If staying in the hotel worth visiting here to eat.

Not impressed with food

By Kel7278 |

We were seated promptly (around 10:30pm) by a very courteous hostess. Our waitress, Jennifer I believe was her name, was very sweet and was honest when we asked about the ribs. She went back to the kitchen to ask our question instead of just making up an answer or saying I don't know. My hubby tried the BBQ rib plate. The ribs were fall off the bone but he did not care for the sauce so that kind of ruined it for him. The sides weren't the best either. I had the grilled chicken wrap and the chicken seemed old and not tasty. I ate only half of it. I would not return for lunch or dinner but maybe breakfast would be ok. I think our waitress was stuck working the whole restaurant by herself but still provided us with excellent service so that's the reason for the 3 stars, would have been lower.

Good food.

By John |

Interesting that we had to wait for a table for 2 around 3:00 in the afternoon when there were not more than 5 tables seated . Service was lacking but friendly. Food was very good
we both had Philly cheese steak sandwich. I would certainly go back.

Breakfast!

By Laney64 |

This is a typical American diner. Queue for breakfast wasn’t too long and coffee served as soon as we sat down. Did have to wait a while for food but when it arrived it was good. If you are looking for a big breakfast, plenty of coffee and value for money then head to America in New York New York hotel and casino.

No consistency

By Seymour B |

Had one appetizing breakfast and today was worse than terrible. Ordered an omelet, hash browns and toast. Hash browns today were two preformed patties borrowed from McD's and deep fried to a cinder block crunch all the way thru. The omelet was folded up like a burrito and the american cheese was a kraft single slapped on top. Voila! I've had meals like that before, it's not "come and get it," more like "try and eat it and live"! Had to over-rate at one star. John

Solid Breakfast

By IrishRover |

Its been a main stay at NY New York. Nice selections and breakfast is available anytime. The doughnuts are a go to if your night turns into the next morning. If you are looking for comfort food and typical American Fare its worth the try

Photos added. Rib Eye Steak Special + More

By NitroDog |

Located in New York-New York Hotel & Casino. Open 24/7. My wife and I both had an Iced Tea. She had the Chopped Cobb Salad that she enjoyed. I had the Rib Eye Steak Special. It came with a Baked Potato and Veggies. It no longer comes with a dinner salad, so they need to remove that from the photos advertising this special. The food and service were great on this visit and will return again soon. I added several photos.

Photos added. Excellent Dinner after Knights Game

By NitroDog |

Located in the New York-New York Hotel & Casino. Open 24/7. My wife and I dined here after a Vegas Golden Knights game. We split the Cobb Salad and a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich with great fries. We dined at the bar. The food and service were excellent. I will return again very soon. Photos added.

Open 24 / 7

By What We Found Travelling |

We loved this place as it was open 24 / 7. We ate here a couple of time & the food was adequate. Massive venue with a fantastic fitout. Prices are very reasonable for Las Vegas. Only negative was they don’t serve real coffee. You’ll have to go to Starbucks for that. They had no issues allowing us to dine in with our Starbucks coffee.

Terrible experience

By FermanaghGirl |

We came for dinner while on the strip. I ordered chicken fried steak. It was mushy and horrible. It was supposed to come with a vegetable but it didn’t. My husband ordered fish and chips. The fish was undercooked and inedible. The server didn’t refresh our drinks and when she came to give us the bill, she could see that our plates had barely been touched but didn’t ask if everything was ok. We waited a long time for her to come back with change. Would never come here again

Photos added. Another excellent lunch

By NitroDog |

My wife and I dined here for lunch. The bartender recognized us and gave us the military discount without us having to mention it. We both ordered an ice tea with lunch. And we both ordered the ham steak and eggs. Yum. I will return soon. Management should be very proud. Many photos added.

Delicious food and great staff.

By Irishsky14 |

Why are there not more reviews of this place? We loved it and are here 3 times during our stay the first night we got there I had the steak special for $24.99 it was delicious I made the mistake of adding onion rings and mac and cheese and there was for too much food it could have fed 4 people easily. The staff were attentive and it has good decor ohhh and the coffee was good too so yes I would definitely visit on my next trip.

Great gluten free choice

By Kaela |

Ate here for brunch after an early morning arrival to our stay at NYNY and we were pleasantly surprised! Expected it to be very generic diner-style food but we were really happy with the options and everything was delicious. Especially happy with the amount of gluten free options for my husband who has an intolerance. Drinks were great too! Would recommend.

Not great

By Elise W |

Not great, standard breakfast fare. Crazy loud noises above (maybe the roller coaster?) that was awful while hungover! Denny’s is across the street, about the same level of food but cheaper so I’d go there instead.

Great breakfast

By Rob S |

Great food, atmosphere and service. My whole family loved it. I ordered California eggs Benedict, wife orderd an omelet, son got pancakes and daughter ordered egg sandwich. Highly recommended.

A great breakfast option

By JGMcG |

We stayed at New York New York and visited America 3/4 times for breakfast during our stay. Each time we had a good experience and would recommend America. The service was always good and fairly quick, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Blueberry Pancakes and the Steak and Eggs. The massive map of America hanging over the restaurant was also pretty cool to look at whilst enjoying a meal. Very reasonable prices too.

Great place

By dennis K |

My mom and I have the best experience here every time we eat here freddy usually always waits on us I feel he's the best and Kelly is a great general Manger great service food and prices

Horrible Service

By Staci H |

This restaurant is located on the ground floor of the New York New York hotel. It’s open 24 hours a day
that’s the only saving grace. We waited 40 minutes for our food only to be told that that they were out of the dish that we ordered. The manger comped the meal, which was great
but when the waitress (who had a bad attitude) came out with the replacement meal it slipped out of her hands and she dropped it all over my husband’s clothes! Would have been better ordering room service
.

Wonderful Breakfast

By Robyne S |

Birthday weekend celebration in Las Vegas. My husband chose this place due to its vicinity to MGM grand. Walked straight across to entrance of NY NY. Reservations made and quick seating. I ordered waffle and bacon with fruit. Husband ordered chicken (tenders â˜č) & waffles. As others have said food is slow getting to the table but it is hot when it gets there and we enjoyed our breakfast. I would return. Awesome waitstaff, nice, friendly and clean.

It was fine.

By Amy H |

We waited a few minutes to be seated and few more minutes for drink order. This was 8:00pm on a Sunday. My daughter and I split the chicken quesadilla and an order of french fries. My mother had a slice of the strawberry cheesecake. It was fine. Not the best snack on this trip. Service was good. The next morning, the line was out the door, so maybe breakfast is their thing. The huge ceiling map of America art is something to see.

What a really good place!

By Poolboy314 |

What a really good place! My stepson ordered a sandwich that came out really hot to the touch. He really liked it. My wife got blueberry pancakes hash browns and bacon! She ate the whole thing! I got steak and eggs and hash browns with toast. I was full and everything tasted great! Hash browns weren’t over salted. Waitress was nice too( being how we were in New York) wink wink!

False advertisement

By SGTL |

We were very hungry and we saw this place had $16.95 ribeye steak meals and the picture looked bomb. Well, that was false advertising. The steak we received was really thin and overcooked and we all asked for it medium rare. It came very well done. The sides were good and the service was alright. It was midnight and no one was in there and it took about 45 to get food. I might come back if everything was closed and this was an only option.

Nice Basic US Food with even some vegan options

By Vanessa Philipp... M |

open 24h nice staff, ask for Diamond - she is a total sweatheart Been there for breakfast everyday for 5 days as a vegan. It is obviously impossible to find healthy food on this menu, BUT if you are OK with processed vegan delights, you can have your pick between a Vegan Burrito, vegan Quesadillas, Fittata, vegan Eggs with Sausages and an Avocado Toast. There is refill black coffee and iced tap water. The restaurant has this HUGE ceiling high 3-D map of the USA and all its states that can be interesting to look at.

Not great.

By McAllisterandCo |

This restaurant has great ratings on trip advisor but it did not meet our expectations at all. We visited late at night after a show. The late night food was terrible! The service was good but the offering was not. We did not visit during the day time service hours but we’d presumed as the venue was 24/7 the offer would be as good wherever we visited.

Does not disappoint!

By AmberMum |

So solid! Every trip to Vegas over the past 19 years has included AT LEAST one stop in America. With a solid American menu, this place has something for everyone in your party. Couple that with fantastic service and we’ve always been willing to return. Nestled in the heart of New York-New York, this cafe is open 24 hours, so it was the perfect stop for us prior to an early bus trip to the Hoover Dam. In the center of the restaurant, a giant map of the United States hangs, complete with various decorations for notable spots around the country. Overall, one of our favorite Las Vegas stops - we’ll be back!

Always happy here

By blacksheepfan |

We have stayed at NY NY a few times over the last few years. This restaurant is a wonderful place to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If there is a line to get in, don't worry the line moves pretty quickly. The dining area is huge and the tables are comfortable with plenty of room for your group and all the food you order. The décor here is really something. There is a huge map of America that is 3-D and shows every state and what that state is known for. There are a lot of pictures and large post card art adorning the walls. The service is fast and friendly...and most importantly, the food, it is amazingly delicious! The menu is huge with something for everyone. We've had omlettes, breakfast sandwiches, waffles...all delicious. We like that you get a carafe of coffee at your table so that you don't have to wait for refills. We love this restaurant!

Good food, Great Prices

By Tim H |

Located at the back of the New York, New York casino floor. America is open 24 hours a day. It has more of a cafeteria selection of entrees. They serve breakfast anytime, along with lunch and dinner. The prices are VERY reasonable, especially compared to other strip prices. It’s not fancy, but the food is great and the service was very good.

Great for Breakfast-Open 24 Hours!

By desvw1029 |

We ate breakfast here twice. Good selection, decent atmosphere. Open 24 hours is a huge bonus for those of us east coasters up early in the AM! Nothing like a 7am mimosa :) Affordably priced and well located in hotel.

Great breakfast

By DCJC |

We had both breakfast and donuts on separate mornings while staying at New York New York hotel and casino. The donuts were good, but a little pricey and we have had better. The breakfast menu had a large selection and was delicious. Highly recommend for breakfast, but you can skip the donuts.

America's Ribeye Special isn't so special

By George L |

We've come by when visiting for a few years. This past visit was a disappointment. Their Ribeye Special for USD 16.95 was currently running from 1700 til close due to COVID. Before this special ran 1600-1900 and 0000-0400 when it was open 24/7. We order one to share. The ribeye was noticeably much thinner than in the past. We asked for medium-rare. Part of it was medium-rare, but as I progressed eating it, it was medium well, dry, a disappointment. We were offered to redo the steak, I declined, then offered one of their donuts which I also declined. I wanted my order to be done right the first time.

Bakery at the Front of the Restaurant

By MinnieM1928 |

We had their prime rib special for dinner, and for the price it was very good. To start we had the chicken wings, and the only negative was while we were still eating our appetiser our main meals came out and we were not ready for them. I wish that restaurants would not bring out your mains until you are ready, but this was the only negative. We also went here one morning for breakfast as we were staying in the New York New York and we enjoyed our breakfast here.

Basic but decent

By Jogor172 |

Went for a late night dine in. Basic food. Service was fast and good, and food was fresh. Nothing out of the ordinary. If you’re looking for normal breakfast items. Breakfast is served 24 hours.

Disappointing

By Motomom27 |

We aren't foodies so we didn'texpect to be amazed. It's diner fare. Food is okay. My husband had a philly and said it was extremely dry. The french fries are large and plentiful. Waitress was not very attentive as she allowed my husbands glass to empty and never bothered to check on us. She forgot my side of gravy. I finally made eye contact with her in order to get that. We never returned for a second meal.

Great staff

By Farmgirl11515 |

The staff here at this restaurant is amazing. Very detail oriented. Extremely friendly. And they you serve breakfast 24 hours. That’s a big deal for my family. It’s in the Hotel at New York New York Casino. I’d recommend for everybody. Nothing fancy just clean efficient moderate priced.

Stodgy on a plate

By D Mac |

Just had the most awful pizza. Base was ok but centre uncooked. Place was very quiet but still the waiter forgot our drinks. I tried to separate the base from the uncooked but it was just a mess on a plate then to cap it all the waiter asked if I wanted to box it!!! Just for balance my daughter enjoyed her Philly steak.

Great for breakfast

By golfaben |

Visited several times for breakfast. Always left full up and satisfied. Nice choice for breakfast and not too expensive. Highly recommend the omelette

America for their rib eye special

By George L |

We come to America when we come to Las Vegas for their rib eye special during certain hours that's offered. The service was on the slow side but extremely friendly service, I was impressed how nice our server was. The ribeye was good with a baked potato and steamed vegetables.

Underwhelming Experience

By therealS1 |

I had high hopes for this restaurant after reading some of the previous reviews. While the atmosphere and prices were good, the lack of attentive service and food taste was underwhelming. The restaurant was maybe 20% occupied, yet trying to get the attention of a server was difficult.

Terrific Restaurant!

By Meyerblings |

Had dinner at America on Saturday night at 9:30pm. This restaurant is open 24 hours and is terrific, what a great restaurant to have inside your hotel if you’re staying at New York New York. Our server was fantastic, so friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. My turkey clubhouse sandwich was delicious, very large, shared it with my husband. He had the Western omelette with shredded hash browns and toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and very nice presentation. Prices are extremely reasonable. Will visit again one day!

Really good breakfast

By iowawestfamily |

We were pleasantly surprised at the tiny breakfast here. Our favorites were the breakfast sandwich, burrito and omelets. We ended up eating breakfast several times here during our stay!

Nice breakfast

By Jordan H |

My wife and I came here for breakfast on our first morning in Vegas. There was a ten person queue which went down very quickly and we were seated within 5 minutes. The staff were extremely friendly and we got our food without waiting long. My wife ordered pancakes with chocolate sauce and bananas, I ordered NY breakfast sandwich. Both very good and the pancakes especially were big portions. Overall came to around $45.

Stunning Food and Staff

By MarkA |

We ate here almost every morning on our recent trip to Las Vegas for my 60th birthday. The choice of food particularly for breakfast was amazing, and there’s nothing like a cup of their coffee to start the day. I always picked their corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and two rounds of sourdough toast. The portions were that generous, that a serving would get you through to tea time, no problem. The staff work incredibly hard as it is always so very busy. I’d like to mention two people in particular who stood out from the rest: - Christine on the front desk - a lovely lady who showed us to our seats, and took a genuine interest in what we had been up to every day, especially my sky jump off the top of the stratosphere! Cesar - A lovely young man who took our orders and was always ready to greet you with a smile each morning, and who again, asked us about our plans for the day ahead and what we did the previous day I’m so pleased we found this restaurant and would visit again without hesitation

Typical American breakfast restaurant located in New York New York Hotel

By Fraser66 |

This isn't a bad restaurant it's just compared to the very good restaurants in Vegas it's not up there. The staff her are very good and deserve for the rating to be higher. Food was average. We stayed in New York New York so perfect for breakfast

Photos added. What happened?

By NitroDog |

I dined here for breakfast solo on this visit. I have eaten here perhaps a hundred times over the years. The portion sizes have been reduced. The Chicken Fried Steak is basically inedible. You can not cut it with a steak knife. The Fried Chicken Sandwich has been changed and it is not good. On this visit I went with a simple Ham Steak and Eggs. The portion size has been greatly reduced. The fries and toast were good. I sat at the bar and the service was very good. This used to be my go-to 24/7 restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. I will give it a break. Things need to get back to normal. Photos added of my visit.

Great food, awesome service!

By Chantale P |

Awesome service from Parker! Not so busy so quick service. Food is always good and reasonably priced! Had the steak special for $21.95 - was awesome! Second night had the club sandwich- very good!

Great restaurant

By Tim B |

All the restaurants in Excalibur, except for Johnny Rockets were closed. This is where we had breakfast for 3 days. Atmosphere of the restaurant is great, as is the service and the food. Food selection is good too. We really liked this place.

Ate breakfast there for 2 mornings...Good choice but slightly pricey!

By 121jah |

On our first morning we had the all you can eat pancakes which was really good value, but the secound moring we chose 2 different breakfast off the menu which were OK but slight over priced for what you got. Would eat there again though.

Exceedingly Slow Kitchen Combined with Exceedingly Poor Food

By King Dog |

Waited over 15 minutes for the waitress to initially come to our table and then waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive once we ordered. Waited another 15 minutes to get out bill after we finished. And, the place wasn't crowded at all. The food was fast-food-restaurant-quality, if that. A friendly and apologetic waitress was appreciated but doesn't change the fact that this was not a functioning restaurant when we were there. This is a worthless and pathetic excuse for a dining establishment. Go hungry, instead. You'll be happier.

Super fast service and amazing food!

By Ben |

Was in a bit of a rush due to a flight out of Vegas later that night. Stopped here for dinner and had incredibly fast service. The pancakes were awesome!!

Great service, great food

By Sally J |

First time visiting after many trips to Vegas. There is always a queue (now I know why) but this time walking past there wasn't. Got seated within a few minutes in a booth, we do love a booth. Our server, I think her name was Italiana, was super friendly & attentive. I had orange juice, coffee, steak & eggs, hubby had coffee & eggs benidict. Everything was tasty & we will definitely be back when we visit in September.

Great Restaurant

By Maps563745 |

America Restaurant in the NY NY Hotel in Las Vegas is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It has a good variety of food to choice from, good prices, tasty donuts in the front case and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Eaten there several times and always had a great experience.

$13 for horrendous coffee

By JoeMasseria |

Waitress was a bit loud with her service but overall it was fine and she was working hard. I went for eggs royale - the salmon looked more like ham with texture to match. I’d never had hash browns like this before but maybe this is the original recipe. Definitely not for me. The breakfast prices themselves seemed competitive for Vegas until I saw the bill for the filter coffee. It was basically lukewarm water with cube of oxo gravy thrown in. After having breakfast at the aria the following day at virtually a similar price, I realize I’m not being harsh with this review score.

Excellent

By Flore6566 |

Finally a restaurant offering good gastronomy at very affordable Awards. Burger salads etc. hearty. Kindness of the staff with little care. And all this in a great atmosphere that changes fast food around every corner of this city

Photos added. Excellent lunch

By NitroDog |

Located in New York-New York Hotel & Casino. My wife and I dined here for lunch. I had an excellent Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. My wife had the Chicken Caesar Salad. Excellent service. I will return, very soon.

Breakfast was average

By elf.dmf |

I had breakfast at America this morning while my husband was in a conference. 10am, the line was only a 5 minute wait. As I waited, I looked at the donuts thinking yum they look delish, wonder if they are all-looks or no taste
I did not try them but after my breakfast was over, I bet the later. My server Abril was great, wish I could say the same about the food. I ordered the ham & cheddar omelette w/GF toast. My omelette was cooked fine but very little cheese, I’d say a sprinkling of cheese. No cheese in the omelette, just a small handful sprinkled on top, and maybe a tablespoon of ham, maybe. So basically it was eggs. The potatoes that came with it, were the typical frozen cubes that were overcooked and cold. I didn’t complain, they were full tables and I didn’t want to wait so I just pushed them aside. My iced tea was great and full of ice like I asked. She gave me a to-go cup w/lid with a fresh tea so that was nice. My bill was $26 plus tip. Price was great, service was great, food was below average. Like other poster mentioned, the restaurant is undergoing renovations and it was noisy so for a couple reasons, I wouldn’t go back.

Best Value In Vegas

By Rachel C |

This is by far the best value to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Many options to choose from. I had the ham and cheese omelet which was excellent and comes with hashbrowns and toast. Very attentive waitstaff. We made reservation at breakfast and did not have to wait int he long line. Lines throughout the day not much at all of a wait.

Great cakes

Want normal food?

By Vaneadvisor |

Do you know when you want to eat normal food? Like a salad and a fish... without too much spices and not too much fat. It's right here! Great service, good cost-effectiveness and open 24h. Stay inside the New York New York hotel. Just don't order the Benedict eggs, as it comes without Dutch sauce, so it's basically a fried egg.

Still decent food

By Donald S |

Been several years since we ate here last. The food is still very good, but the prices have definitely increased. We each had the Cobb salad and it was very good. I would come back.

Average

I wanted a cheap and quick breakfast so decided to pop along to America. The service is ok the food is ok, it won’t be the best food you eat in Vegas but it will fill you up. It’s better than a few other places nearby and does have a massive menu to choose from. I wouldn’t rush back but I would come back.

America in New York New York

By mike |

What a difference 8 years make , this used to be one of our favourites in Las Vegas we just went and the service was really bad and slow took over 1hr 30 to have lunch we waited 20s to be able to even pay when talked to a manger about she just grunted and looked at us . The service here used to be top notch now it’s terrible

My wife and I dined here for dinner. Located at the New York-New York Resort & Casino. I had the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. My wife had the Ham Steak, Over-Hard Eggs and fries. The service was excellent on this visit and I will return very soon. I added many photos of our visit.

10 Years in the Making!

By Corinna H |

This was the first place we ate when we got into Vegas. I had chicken and my friend had nachos. It’s just a super homey kinda spot. As we sat down we realized we had sat in that EXACT spot 10 years ago the last time we had been to Vegas together!! As we sat eating and drinking we could not have found a better place to start our adventure in Vegas again! Everything was as good as it had been 10 years ago, actually, it was even better!!

Located in New York-New York Hotel & Casino. My wife and I dined here for dinner and sat at the bar. We both ordered an Iced Tea. My wife had a Cheeseburger with fries and I had the Cobb Salad. Yummy and great dressing. The food and service were great on this visit. They give a 10% discount to veterans and "locals". I added many photos and will return again soon.

Good food

By shebrat10 |

We had desert at the small station in front of the restaurant it's self the first night. The day we left we had breakfast in the restaurant. It was very good. With both the quick serve station in front and the full serve restaurant in back they have everything covered for food.

Overpriced

By Gizmo311 |

Very convenient location inside NYNY Casino. Breakfast was OK, service was fine, but just be aware that it is pricey. Breakfast for two, with taxes and tip, will run you over $50. Plenty of other options for breakfast in the area unless you are crunched for time like we were.

Great Place To Eat!

By David M |

Very full menu and great service. Food was great as well. Decent pricing for inside a Vegas strip casino restaurant.

Yummy

By Sam M |

We came here every single morning on our holiday and I was blown away by how nice it was. The food is good, the service is wonderful, the staff are lovely and I highly recommend this place if you're staying in this hotel. We came once for dinner and I had no changes on my review, it was all still the same and I can't thank the staff enough! I hope I can come back again one day

Friendly service, good atmosphere, average food, high price.

By Rick K |

We had breakfast here in August. The food was pretty average and the cost was a little on the high side for the quantity and quality. It was roomier than eating at Denny's, but to be honest, the food wasn't really any better, but it cost a lot more. We would probably skip eating here in the future.

Good service, great food

By Tvler8 |

The America restaurant is located in the NYNY Hotel / Casino. The staff are super friendly. The portions are large. Nice family restaurant

I dined here solo at the bar for lunch. Located in the New York-New York Hotel & Casino. Open 24/7. I had an excellent Fried Chicken Sandwich with yummy fries. Excellent service. Locals and Vets get 10% off. Great value for a resort on the Strip. I will return.

Enjoyed

By Kassi S |

We enjoyed the ribeye special and our waitress Wanda! Wanda was funny and super helpful—best waitress we had in Vegas! Casual dinner, good food.

Ate here for an easy departure day breakfast. Despite a short line, got seated quickly. Our server was very cheery, although I had to ask for a drink refill. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet which was a disappointment, hardly any ham. I-hop has better omelets. My sourdough toast was better than my omelet. My daughter had the American breakfast and she said everything was good. I stole some bacon and it was good bacon. This restaurant was fine for what it was, convenient in the lobby, but wasn’t great.

Wouldn’t bother

By Kate T |

Was made fun of by the staff for ordering a shandy because they didn’t understand what it was. They said we don’t make those types of drinks here - didn’t even stay because the staff were so rude about it

My wife and I dined here for lunch on two visits. I always order the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. YUM! My wife ordered a Ham and Eggs Breakfast on the first visit and a Cobb Salad on the second. Excellent food and service. We sat at the bar on both visits. Management should be very proud. I added 14 photos of our visits.

Your Standard Breakfast Items

By ScottRoby |

It was your basic Denny's style place for breakfast. It had a little bit of a wait which wasn't unexpected. The service was slow to get to us initially but I think the server was just coming on and we were sat before he was ready. Once he came by, things rolled by pretty quickly. I don't think there was anything especially remarkable about the food but it was good and it did the job.

Will go back on our next trip

By lauriemc1973 |

We had reservations and were seated right away. The tables were all socially distanced and everyone wore masks except when actively eating or drinking. Service was great and food arrived very quick and the portions were large I would definitely come back again

Great Bar and Restaurant

By Tom and Anne H |

We went here a few times during our Las Vegas stay. We were staying at the MGM Grand over the road, so this place was much more reasonably priced to drink and eat than some of the places in the MGM Grand, so we stopped here for a night cap a few nights and for snacks. Staff were all lovely. Recommend eating and drinking here.

Good Diner Food - Kid Friendly

By whitney353 |

Our family of three (2 adults/1 child) enjoyed our meal. Everything was tasty, like good diner food. Husband had the meatloaf, I had the grownup grilled cheese, and our daughter a kid’s cheeseburger. The french fries were addicting! This was not fancy, but for the price and break from casino-centered seating, we would recommend.

Horrible Service

By Julie |

I was here with my grandma and it was just me and her. We were sat right away; however, we sat at the table waiting for a server for over 15 minutes just to get drinks. Even after the 15 minutes no one showed up, so we decided to leave. On top of that there were two other groups of people that were sat and served right away. I would not recommend.

Fraudulent Charges

By Curious57724048153 |

On December 24, 2024, my wife and I ate at America in the NYNY. The next day, we noticed eight fraudulent charges on the credit card I used at America, in addition to the charge for America. That card was only used there, on that day, and nowhere else. And, all of the fraudulent charges were made that same day. It seems that America has a security problem and is unable/unwilling to keep customers’ credit card data secure. I followed up with Jodi (manager?). She was useless. She claimed she had to wait until accounting (why?) personnel returned from their holiday break on January 1, 2025. When she contacted me, her response was that it wasn’t their fault (i.e., too bad, too sad for you). We won’t be eating at America again.

Good meals at good prices

By starketcher |

This restaurant was a good surprise for us. We stayed at NYNY, so very convenient & good food. Between breakfasts & dinner, we ate there about 6 times over our 8 day stay. I ordered their special rib-eye & baked potato deal thinking I’d give it a shot, but didn’t expect much due to the price. It was really good & I ordered it for another meal. Wait staff was excellent. Two waiters, Cesar & John stood out with exceptional service.

Good breakfeast

By shubsens |

Had breakfast here and it was good quality for a good price. We had the standard breakfast and everything was good. We didnt feel ripped off and got a good breakfast for a fair price even though we were on the strip. We would eat here again.

Every morning I went there for coffee. The America staff were very friendly. Was easy to find. Restaurant was clean and inviting.

Appropriately priced large portions

By TracyLee7 |

The breakfast my husband had this morning was delicious. Vegas food prices have gotten extremely costly. This restaurant in my opinion is priced appropriately and they give you large portions. We had dinner here a few days ago. For my husband and I this is a deal.

My Favorite Place for Breakfasts in Vegas!! Great food, Generous Portions, Fair Price!!

By Daniel E S |

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast in Vegas!! BIG breakfast (even very shareable) at a reasonable price. Service is decent. Food is delicious! Bartenders are great.. and managers are so nice! EVERYTIME I go to Vegas, I eat a few breakfasts at NYNY (even if I stay at MGM Grand, Park, Luxor, or the other south Strip hotels because it's WORTH the walk!! The country-fried steak is awesome, omelets are delicious, eggs benedict are great, hashbrowns, pancakes... it's ALL great!

Try to get past the donuts!

By David S |

America is the restaurant located near the front desk of New York New York. While it’s open 24 hours, I’ve only eaten breakfast there. If you pass by quickly you might think it’s just a donut shop because the bakery section is out front. The donuts are very good (try the cinnamon roll and the maple bar for sure!) and the coffee’s fine. If you do get past the donuts sit down in the surprisingly large dining room and have the blueberry pancakes. Seriously

have the blueberry pancakes! For $13.95 they are a “bargain” in Vegas and ohhhhh so good. Service has always been excellent. No trip to Vegas is complete until I’ve stopped by once or twice for breakfast.

Worth the wait

By ksufan88 |

We stopped in here on a Saturday morning around 10 AM and waited around 20 minutes for a table. Their extensive menu is available online. My wife selected the chocolate chip pancakes and was excited to see that there were chocolate chips inside the pancakes as well as on top. The serving size was very large (four large pancakes) so she only finished half of her meal. I really enjoyed my Bagel mania sandwich which was scrambled eggs, ham, cheese and bacon on a grilled bagel and was served with a side of hash browns. It was very tasty and filling. Our friends split the banana Nutella pancakes which looked awesome!

Kid friendly but bland

By kbjb2020 |

Okay price, decent portion but horrible food, avoid if you can. Also, they don’t know what English tea is. Only my young teens liked their meals but you can’t really mess up regulars waffles and pancakes.. nothing special.

Not like it used to be.

By Helen Frances B |

We have been coming here for years and it’s nowhere near as good. Are here 3 times in the hope it was a one off but it wasn’t. Service slow, food cold, Eggs Benedict was cold, but husband ate out of politeness, then we tried the pasta one night and I made him send that back as it was cold. We hope to visit again when we are back in vegas in 2 years

Great value breakfast spot!

By Deb P |

Great value breakfast spot & very convenient as we were staying in NYNY! We had visited a more upscale restaurant the previously morning, and honestly the food, service, and experience was much better here.

Great food and fun atmosphere

By jellogirl |

We stopped in for lunch on a week day. It wasn't very busy and our food came fairly quickly. My little boy gobbled up his pancakes and said they were the best! I tried a chicken wrap and my husband had a chicken sandwich. We also got their giant pretzel with cheese sauce and mustard sauce. The food was great quality and the service was good as well. We loved looking around at all the pictures and the huge map of the United States. It was a great visit.

Located in New York-New York on the Las Vegas Strip. My wife and I dined here for lunch and sat at the bar. She ordered the Ham Steak, Over Hard Eggs, Fries and Toast. I had the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich with Fries. The kitchen keeps overcooking the chicken. This has happened on the past few visits. I really like that sandwich. The service at the bar was excellent. I added photos and will return again.

Rude waitress Gloria

By Madam Chincha |

We stayed in Vegas for 4 days. On our last night, we came back to our rooms from antelope canyon trip. We felt hungry so look online for any 24 hr restaurant. Found America at New york New york. It was Gloria (waitress) assigned to serve us. When we were ordering, Some of my friends ask nicely if she could replace the fries to onion rings, baked potato to mashed potato. She replied NO, it is what it is in there. So we said ok. When she brought the coffee my friend ordered she almost threw it in the table. so we ignore pretended everything is fine. After we were one with our orders. she never came back to us. It was the guy from the kitchen who served us our food. There was no cuttleries at all. She was just hanging around by the bar. When she go near our table she keeps talking to the caucasian guests so pleasantly. She even laughed so loud. She was so rude to us. When we ask for the bill. She let us wait for so long untill i approached diffrent waiter just to help us so we can catch our flight back to canada. After i approached different server, that server told the mgr if im not mistaken. Gloria later on came to us to give us the bill. I told her separate bill, She rudely told us NO jus one bill. SO we insisted separate and she yelled saying OK ANOTHER !) MINUTES. GLORIA(latenight server) shouldn't be in customer service field. She is rude, arrogant, The way we saw it SHE is so lazy and racist. It so unfair to those worker in that restaurant that are really working hard just like the kitchen guy that just suppose to hand all those orders to GLORIA but he was the who did her job. Im just wondering how AMERICA can tolerate this kind of behaviour. She shouldnt judge people base on looks. We are asians but that doesnt mean we dont have money to pay for our food, We visit vegas regularly to gamble. We will never go back to this restaurant.

Very good place for a diner or lunch.

By revrick33 |

We went in while we walked aroung hotel. The food was so reasonable for Vegas. Food quality was really good and our waitress was outstanding. We wish we had found this earlier in our trip. Recommend this one.

My wife and I dined here for breakfast. We each ordered an Iced Tea. We both ordered the same thing. Ham and eggs. We both wanted french fries in place of the hash browns. One plate came with hash browns and the other with soggy fries. My wife ordered her eggs over hard and they came out over easy. The toast is always excellent. The service was very good. Very good prices for the Las Vegas Strip. I added photos and will give it another chance.

Food and service as bad as each other

By Julien T |

One experiment, but it'll be the last one for us. Worst meal I've had in two weeks in the States. Already 45 minutes waiting to be served while the restaurant was empty... Then we ask for a blue steak it arrived burned charred on the outside (all black what not a joke or an exaggeration, and rosé inside) . When we asked for parmesan (for a chicken with parmesan that was served without parmesan) it took 20 minutes to bring it.... So not good on food, not good on service, I put two stars instead of one just because the scenery was nice.

Breakfast Chronicles: Mixed Bag of Flavors and Service

By veronak |

The food was just okay. We went on Thanksgiving, and the service was super slow, even though the place wasn't busy. I had the usual American pancakes, and my partner had French toast. We might give it another try despite the slow service.

Located at New York-New York Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. My wife and I dined here for Lunch at the bar. My wife had a very large Cobb Salad that had more topping than lettuce. I had the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich with excellent fries. The service was great as usual. This restaurant has some of the lowest prices for quality food on the Strip. Management should be proud. I will return soon.

Brilliant

By Mark S |

Fantastic Visit, service was brilliant and they server braydon was on point the whole time. Never felt rushed and very accommodating

What a great restaurant----and a must see USA map covering the whole restaurant

By suedo66 |

My wife and I were going to the Terry Fader show at the New York New York casino---needed a meal and lucked into a great place---nice menu---reasonable prices--good service--and even had a few selections for my very picky vegan wife. They also have a must see USA map that covers the whole restaurant--I mean it's maybe 150 feet long--each state has items on it that represent that state--great stop

Reasonable breakfast

By MartynGTravels |

Came in for a breakfast, it is reasonably priced and the food was acceptable. Hash Browns a little undercooked, biscuits and gravy were good though. I wouldn't rush here if not staying locally, but the value is the driver here - a similar breakfast to their $15-$16 options can cost you $25+ in other Vegas venues...

Love love love

By Connie B |

America is always one of our favorite places to eat when we come to Vegas!! We love the food, service and atmosphere!! The sautéed seasonal vegetables are AMAZING!!

Great Steak @$19.99

By carmelwish |

Steak was great. Hit the spot. Came with baked potato and veggies. Seated right away. Service excellent

Great place for food

By ne_quine |

Given we were staying at NYNY this was an obvious place to stop by for breakfast. They do do some sort of breakfast buffet but it isn't really like the ones you see elsewhere. On my first visit I had one an omelette and I like that they have 'make your own' ones so you can select your own fillings rather than have one of the set options. The omelette was very tasty and came with breakfast potatoes and a side of toast. On my second visit I had the pancakes which was delicious although I couldn't finish the serving as they gave you 4 very large pancakes. Service both times was very prompt and I left with a very full stomach!

New Year's Morning

By Terryclare C |

Wonderful staff friendly and super fast ordering. Coffee was great brought us a jug to serve ourselves. The ham steak breakfast was so huge husband had to take back to hotel.

Definitely try eating here!

By Mark062017 |

We ate breakfast here one morning, and the line was really long and moved slow. The food was good, so we returned for dinner. There was no line and it was almost empty. The food was good, and the service was great.

Excellent breakfast

By Kenny L |

Excellent service and atmosphere. Had breakfast and sat in a booth. Service was spot on. Had the omelette and coffee along with some toast. Very tasty and plentiful. Tried to go back the next day but there was a computer glitch so has to diene elsewhere. Can’t go wrong for breakfast and would have loved to have had an evening meal, but did it have the time.

Second visit, there will be returning for more

By lougpe |

We were in Vegas for 4 days, we came here on our first morning and everything was outstanding, the food, the service and the setting. We returned as we knew we couldn't go wrong here and we were right, service again outstanding and the food delicious. Food is reasonably priced especially compared to other places we visited. A definite must do

Bakery at the Front of the Restaurant

By MinnieM1928 |

We didn't eat in the restaurant but grabbed a fruit tart from the bakery at the front and ate in the Greenwich Village street area in the hotel where there is lots of seating. It was a nice fruit tart and not too overpriced. We would eat in the restaurant next time as there was always a queue in the mornings for breakfast and it looks nice in there.

Easy going and welcoming place

By stevebintley |

Decent restaurant, particularly given its open 24 hours. Sitting at the bar for breakfast is great since you get instant service and the TVs above let you catch up on European sport, with the staff willing to change channels if you want! There’s a good range of food on the menu and the portion sizes are good for the prices. I never had a problem with the serving times but did over hear other diners having to chase occasionally, so maybe it’s hit and miss, but with the relaxing environment it shouldn’t be an issue. The staff are willing to tweak the dishes to suit so for an easy breakfast I certainly recommend.

Amazing Food and Customer Service

By Elizabeth S |

Lots of options to choose from and moderately priced. The quality of the food and customer service is top notch! We stayed at Caesars Palace but had our meals at America in New York New York. I highly recommend!

Just ok

By LuxeGirlNYC |

I heard a lot of good things about America but I thought it was slightly below average at best. I ordered a burger and it was just ok. The waitress was very friendly and service was fast but it also wasn't very busy when I was there. I truly don't have a reason to go back.

Great food great service, great prices!

By Glo |

We had breakfast twice and dinner one. There was a line for breakfast so we chose to be seated at the bar. It was a great choice. Our food was hot, cooked to perfection. The portions were more than adequate. The best part of our experience was the breakfast server Crystal. She was courteous, professional and quick on her feet! She was the best part of the visit!!

Was just ok tbh

By lilbjtbh |

I was hapoy to have a 24 hour diner in my hotel tbh but it was ok. I guess I wasn't too starving when I went here. So all I had was nachos. But they wernt my favorite nachos. They were out of a lot of stuff I wanted so it was annoying. Including thus chocolate desert that sounded good. So instead I just had an apple pie and ice cream. Was actually really good tho. Good sized menu so I'd probably come back and try a meal there. Staff was ok and nice as well.

Please have a burger somewhere else

By Art G |

Ordered the steak, medium and it was charred on the outside while raw on the inside. Ordered a Caesar salad which was unbelievably salty. My wife’s steak was equally horrible.

Ok breakfast

By Hitcher84 |

They are a diner open 24 hours. No problem getting a table early but there was a wait on Sunday morning for breakfast. Had an omelette that was less than spectacular. The service was good though. The donuts looked pretty good but I did not try them. Probably should have.

Good, Simple, Relaxing

By Mike B |

It has been awhile since we have been to Vegas, but on a recent 9 day vacation around the Grand Canyon, we flew into and out of Vegas to begin and end the vacation. On our way out, we stayed at New York, New York, and for dinner that last night we wanted something simple and within the hotel. So we opted for America because it was the closest. It was a good choice. We had been eating great meals all week, so as mentioned, we wanted simple. My wife went for a Caesar Salad with Chicken, and I went for a Pepperoni Pizza. We were both a little surprised that everything was pretty good, as we really just expected average. Also had a couple of drinks, and Eric, our server, did a great job. This is a perfect place if you want simple, relaxed, and reasonably quick. And if you have a sweet tooth, they have an amazing display of donuts on the way in. We didn't try any, but boy they sure looked good.

My wife and I dined here the day after they reopened for lunch. They were closed due to COVID-19 shutdown for almost three months. We sat at the bar and had excellent and very friendly service. I ordered my usual, the Southern Chicken Sandwich with fries and my wife ordered the Ham Steak and Eggs Breakfast with toast. The waitress remembered what I usually ordered and knew I wanted extra mayo. She also applied my Military discount without me having to ask. You could see smiles on the staff being back to work, even though they were wearing masks. Management should be very proud! I will return very soon.

24 hour gem 💎

Husband and I always seek out this spot for super early breakfast, and it's on point one year later. We sit at the bar for quick service. Friendly staff, huge portions, amazing donuts, and reasonable prices.

Great little stop

By Jazz Gumbo |

Open 24/7 we had a meal here at 1am and we were provided excellent service friendly & helpful. A wide range of choices too. Highly recommended. I will add on the Thursday evening (06/15/23) we ate there, the barman (whose name I didn't take, I apologise) was working like a demon that night around midnight serving everyone with a smile & conversation deserves recognition from your organization for he's determination to ensure everyone received excellent service!

Breakfast great

By Terry F |

This was our go-to place for breakfast for four mornings in a row on our recent visit to New York New York. The pancakes are soft and tasty and I had them three out of four mornings, each time with scrambled eggs on top and sausage or bacon. My wife had the same sometimes but also had eggs and hash browns which I had one day also. Service is good, tables were spaced comfortably apart, and we received the food in a reasonable time. They have a nice array of donuts to choose from and the bagel I had was good also. Breakfast, for two of us, was 40.00 average. Also open for lunch and dinner.

Love the map on the ceiling & love the doughnuts!

By AllyG520 |

Open 24 hours with good food. Wait staff very accommodating if you want to see the televisions. Baked goods (doughnuts!) are delicious and a good variety. Other food is good {except the hashbrowns, they're terrible} you're sure to get full whenever you choose to visit this place.

Good Enough!

By Sawyer K |

The food they serve was good. My Alfredo was a little bland but it was good. The service however, was not the best.

Donut.

By LostInTime |

I stopped for a donut. The lady was very nice. The donuts looked really good. But they were not. My donut was very stale. To the point that I didn’t eat much of it.

Steak Special was Disappointing

By Camper38928991054 |

We had dinner here one night before a show. I was looking for a reasonably priced steak dinner and ‘America’ seemed like the place. We both had the Rib Eye special, which was thin and a bit disappointing. We didn’t get any other food so can’t judge their other meals. Service was very good and waiter friendly. Prices are much lower than other places.

Very Nice

By Tony W |

Become my go to for breakfast or lunch every day. Well located in New York New York it offered amazing service and consistently good food. Loved the breakfasts but the service was the highlight. I will be back !

Good value for the Strip

By MisterShrimp |

We enjoyed our meal. Also had breakfast on a different day. One of the better deals for a meal on the Strip. Fish and chips was a large portion of fish and tasty fries. Had the pancakes(4) and a large portion of potatoes for breakfast. The servers were friendly and gave up to go drinks.

Consistently good food and reasonable prices

By Kleibel |

During our five day trip from Aug 15-19-22, we ate at America twice for breakfast. Good service both times and food was plentiful and consistently good. One thing I appreciate about America is that they have to go cups for coffee so you can enjoy a cup after you leave (at no extra cost). Myself, spouse and friends had a variety of breakfast items from omelets to pancakes and all were very good. We tend to eat breakfast here at least once per trip and will most likely visit again during our next trip.

Amazing service and great server

By Natalie R |

We went at around 8 on a Thursday night and it was fairly empty. The theme is interesting and the large map of the US is pretty. The food was good and it was filling. The service was exceptional and amazing. Our server was super nice and outgoing. He asked where we were from and was making conversation. His name was Neverly and he was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Definitely a great place to eat. Cheap, amazing service, and good food. Definitely recommend and if you get Neverly make sure to be extra nice 😊

We tried to go for lunch and we were told we have to wait because they only have 3 servers and a large party just came in. We left it went somewhere else. Second try we went for a late breakfast still looked like only 4 servers but we were seated right away. But It took a long time for I drink order to get placed and get acknowledgment from our waitress. Maybe 10 minutes. The juice was sour as if something was wrong with it we replaced it the cranberry juice which was very unsweet . We got that replaced as well but gave up and just had water .She finally brought coffee but never brought the cream we requested. So by the time she did, the coffee was cold another 10-12 minutes. And it was not the cream that we requested. As we continue to wait for our food it got to be over an hour. She never came back to check on us, not once during that time but zoomed past many times tending to other tables. At one point I contacted another waitress to check on our food and that is when our original girl showed up. She seemed very surprised that her food was not delivered. she told me to hold on and literally not even 2 minutes later she comes back with someone else and all of our food. I told them that if it must've been ready it must have been sitting there because there's no way that it is coincidentally all of a sudden ready now that we said something. The guy who brought the food with her swore that it just came up but soon as I touched it all of the food was cold except for the egg, they were lukewarm.. Cold pancakes, barely cooked bacon, cold toast, cold hash browns which also were burnt. You can tell I don't last minute they threw a Kraft single across the top of it and barely warmed it up it didn't even look advertising. (See pic) This was both of our meals. I requested a manager who asked me if the girl ever checked on us and we told her she never did. Within minutes the manager corrected a few items and it was amazing how fast she got that done but it takes us over an hour to get the same food, it didn't make sense. We were on a schedule to do other things and being at this restaurant as long as we were really messed up our timetable on what was really our last full day of the trip. She charges half price for the food and by then we were disappointed only ate half of it and left. I did make one last visit the next day, very early in the morning before we checked out. It was about 4:00 or 5:00am and the guy at the counter when you walk in was extremely nice and helpful. That is only positive experience I've had there.

Delicious!

Very good selections and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and efficient. The lox and bagels were fabulous! Would definitely eat there again!
