So happy Americana serves brunch 9 am to 3 pm during the week. Trying Seattle Slam with today’s special of sour cream pancakes with cinnamon apples. Excellent vibe, food, service!

I came here with my daughter. It's a casual neighborhood coffee, breakfast joint. It's in the heart of Capitol Hill. The service was good. We really liked our server, I forget her name, but she is tall and has lots of tattoos. She made us feel right at home. My eggs benedict was amazing and so was my daughter's pancakes. Overall, this was a good experience. I would come back again.

I hadn’t been here for a couple of years and the food has gotten even better! I had the chilaquiles brunch special and it was amazing. Yummy grapefruit mimosa, too. We will definitely be back to try their dinner menu soon.

I come here often during the week for brunch with my best friend. It's comfortable & cozy place to meet friends. Easy to have a conversation without loud music. Their menu is basic, only one page and they offer pancakes of the day.

Very friendly waiters. Original brunches. Great coffee. I recommend Americana restaurant and hope to go back there some day...

This restaurant has very fresh food. The flavors are delicious and customer service is the best! Definitely an option for anyone looking for a nice brunch

Stopped in for brunch during a recent visit to Seattle with family and was so glad we did! The food was delicious and the service excellent. I had the French toast (crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, perfection) while the others had eggs, sausage, potatoes (everything cooked as ordered, hot and tasty). Highly recommend. Bon Appétit!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. When your B&B doesn't deliver, it's nice to know that the Americana is here to meet that need. We arrived to a full establishment and were quickly seated at a table for 3. The service was friendly, quick, and accurate. Everything was cooked to perfection and the BACON was purely amazing! By the time we were leaving, there were 20 people waiting outside in respective groups of 2-5. Despite the polite service and great food, the facility can only sit groups up to 7 given the size of the facility, etc. I would suggest if staying in the Capitol Hill district of Seattle, you will not be disappointed with a visit to the Americana.

We had a wonderful and unexpected breakfast at Americana Restaurant, starting with a line up 6 super hot sauces from some crazy YouTube show where there dare you to try them, lined up from least spicy (20000 Scovil units) up to 1000000 Scovil units (mad dog 25th anniversary edition). My daughter and I tried all three. Husband stopped after 4. Breakfast was great. I had the eggs Benedict. Not anything like any other but delicious. Daughter had pancakes made of corn, and pork belly. Wow. We loved the meal. No fault of the food, my daughter suffered from the after effects of the hot sauce for about 6 hours. All recovered now and somehow I think she would do it again.

Enjoyed a weekday lunch here. Friendly attentive service from our waitress and a well prepared and nicely presented omelette made for a pleasant lunch experience.

Being in Americana for brunch, nice place, ok food and good service. The Bacon Egg Arugula Sandwich was a better choice, the Eggs Benedict was not unforgettable.

Dropped by there later in the morning on an Monday and had a nice, hearty breakfast with prompt service.

We ordered the "game hens" We received a box of nearly disgusting potatoes with 3 pieces of the worst chicken we have ever had. If this chicken came off a game hen you could not tell and it was not even as good as a person would get at Kentucky Friend Chicken. This is the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. This was an order delivered.

This morning - tried the Corned Beef with poached eggs, squash, potatoes, peppers, served with toast. wow - nice and hearty with a little protein pack. It was tasty! Loved the orange and ruby red grapefruit slice on the side. And also the chorizo omelette with avocado. Served with side salad and toast. Yum! Great way to start the day. Too busy eating to take pictures.... next time!

Great small space, great service excellent food. Great brunches, lunch, noches, and dinners. Creative quality food at a decent price. Interesting concoction of mixology cocktails. Highly recommend.

House made salsas on the table. Great coffee. Seasonal specials. All are great but it's the French toast that steals the show. Crispy local bread with a soft interior. Seasonal fruit compotes that change daily. Seriously get a side for 6.50 with what ever you decide to order its that good. My favorite neighborhood bfast spot. Casual good service nice music vibe. Bavarian meats bacon is thick and delicious as well.

A very popular brunch restaurant in the Capital Hill area. We were on the wait list and were told one hour....we walked around the area and checked back and were seated at the one hour mark. Brunch is the specialty. The menu has great variety, food is served hot and quickly. Coffee is bottomless and rich in flavor. You just can't go wrong here. And the bloody mary is served with a slice of crisp and thick cooked bacon across the glass .....everything is better with bacon.

Had the chicken sausage scramble and substituted the salad (deliciously dressed) for the potatoes (at a small upcharge). The chicken sausage is locally made and the scramble was so flavorful. Washed it down with a pineapple mimosa - the breakfast of champions. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was funky and comfortably relaxed. Will definitely go back!

Came here from brunch and wasn't disappointed. Decided to pig out and had a bacon bloody mary and the pork belly with corn cakes and eggs, friend had the eggs benedict with tomato and mushroom sauce. Everything was delicious and fresh and I like how they put their own spin on things (pork belly instead of bacon, potato cakes instead of english muffins on the benedict). Service was great and will definitely go back.

We had dinner here. The menu is different. Not traditional type of food offered. I had the lamb burger and it was good. Not great. Salads are terrible. I had a side salad and the waitress had to make something special for me. It was as if she dumped a bag of lettuce on a plate and served it up. My friend had one of their salads for dinner and it was not very good also.

Cool little retro vibed place just off from a link light rail station so super handy. Service was amazing - I've come to expect little less from North American eateries but this was still really nice, chatty and friendly. Food was prompt and my word was it good. Expansive range of omelettes and bennies that were all insanely tasty with generous portions. Cracking place for a quick bite!

Lunched with a friend here; loved the friendly, informal atmosphere, the attentive service and, above all, the delicious burger; it came with a variety of condiments, such as a habanero sauce. A good choice of beers and wines by the glass rounded out a great lunch experience.

We wanted some brunch while in Seattle on a Monday so we chose Americana because of the great reviews and it was in walking distance. We had actually walked by the day before and saw many people standing around and now we know why and what they were waiting for! So we were greeted immediately and told to pick any seat. They were a few people in the small space at 10am. We chose a seat towards the back and sat down. We were given a menu right away. They have a really good selection of different types of brunch foods with some sandwiches and soups so there are items for everyone. I had the lavender mimosa and my hubby had the Irish coffee, both drinks came quickly and were oh so good. I ordered the chicken sausage scramble which came with roasted potatoes and the best toast I have ever had. The chicken sausage and eggs combined with green onions and parmesan cheese was so good and very plentiful. the potatoes were just right too, a little burnt, just how I like them. They provide jam and ketchup and two hot sauces for the table as well. My hubby had the Seattle slam which was two amazing pancakes of the day (applesauce) and chicken sausage with potatoes. He loved every bit of his as well. I really liked the ambiance of this place, the servers were both great and the food was phenomenal and plentiful. I would definitely frequent this place every weekend if I lived close by!

I've been hankering for pancakes and found this on yelp. Got a little lost, but when I finally found the establishment, their food and decor were glorious!! I wandered in around 12pm or thereafter, there wasn't a huge crowd just me and a few occupied tables. The servers were really friendly and sweet. And when the food arrived, I nearly went to heaven: I ordered pancakes of the day (oats and blueberry compote) with a half side of potatoes. Delicious!! I'm not eating for the rest of the day. The portions are pretty big for one person, but if you come with a friend, you could split one order of what I had pretty easily. I love that they serve brunch into lunch time. The atmosphere was very relaxing with the exposed wood beams, and cutesy lumberjack feel from the various saws hanging from the walls. It's really aligned with the outdoorsy feeling and it's very clean and well maintained on the inside. For the first time all day, I relaxed. I might go back tomorrow -if I don't get lost again!

recommended by a friend and Americana did not disappoint. I enjoyed the herbed omelette and the hubs had the maple pork belly with cornbread pancakes. the food was delish, portions generous and prices very reasonable. would definitely recommend.

This is a definite go-to brunch spot! The reviews are legit, and I'm surprised there's not more hype surrounding the brunch here. Not only is food amazing, but the service was just as exceptional if not better. The ambiance is pretty hipster yet it has that comfortable saloon feel to it and not at all pretentious. It's small, yet intimate. Possibly a good date spot or even just to get drinks. I wanted a good brunch in Seattle and most eateries on a weekend tend to have long waits and lines. I was almost discouraged to hear that the wait here was 20 minutes because I needed to catch a bus up north and only had 1 h 15 minutes to wait, eat, and pay. The host said the food came out quickly, so we decided to wait. Totally worth the wait! We got Sat within 5-10 minutes, the server, Carolyn, was made aware we were in a rush so she came over quickly and took our orders within a minute of us being Sat, and our food only took about 10-15 minutes to come out. I ordered the Seattle Slam ($12), which came with 2 pancakes, eggs, and your choice of meat (chicken sausage, bacon, or pork sausage). There was also the option to substitute the pancakes for French toast for $3, which I opted into. And I also requested egg whites for $1 surcharge. The French toast comes with a fruit of the day, and on this day it came with a banana compote. I'm in! My friend ordred the chicken fried steak. This is how bomb the food was: we devoured it all within 5 minutes. My friend said it was the best chicken fried steak he ever had and gave me a taste. I more than agreed with him! The taste and texture all came together very well. It was almost crispy and moist in the best way possible. I was equally impressed with the French toast. It was battered and crispy. It was the most unique French toast I ever had. I gave my friend a taste, and he liked it better than the banana fosters French toast at Portage Bay Cafe, and those have to be some of the best French toast I ever feasted my mouth on. Get the French toast here. You'll be in for a nice surprise! Your taste buds will thank me later. They even flavored my egg whites. Carolyn was on top of everything and even let us pay early, so we could run out to catch the bus if we needed to. Her service was professional, sweet, and very friendly. In fact, the whole staff here deserves props. I've worked in restaurants my whole teens and a good chunk of my 20's, and I could tell there was some real teamwork going on here. They communicate with each other very well. As a result, this was one of the best brunch spots I've eaten at in Seattle for sure! And I used to be a resident, so that's a former local's recommendation you're hearing! Credit cards and split checks are accepted here.

We visited looking for a quick reasonably priced evening meal, and I'd rate it very good. I asked for grapefruit juice to drink more in hope than expectation (its rarely available anywhere) and it appeared clearly freshly squeezed - very impressed. The food was decent and very enjoyable, just what we wanted. We'd go again.

We ate here for brunch not knowing what to expect. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. I had the East Coast: Eggs, Hashbrowns covered in smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers. We didn't sample their drink menu, but that, too, looked outstanding. You can't go wrong with this place.

Place: Cozy, happy, laid-back vibe. It can be a bit busy, but the people watching and banter is top-notch. It's the perfect spot for a fun conversation, either to get to know someone better or catch up with a best friend. Pancakes: Ridiculously good (and regularly-rotating variety)! Every dish I've tried, from eggs to potatoes, has been best-in-class.

We came here for breakfast. Very friendly staff, and they had great recommendations for food. We would definitely come back here again.

Service is good, food is good and lots of people walking by to look at...Everyone is so nice...Not bad on prices either. Small menu which is good but lots of portions...

Amazing little place on Capitol Hill. The best service ever! Creative cocktails, eclectic brunch menu, and a great vibe. Highly recommended.

My husband and I spent Memorial Day weekend in Seattle and we ate breakfast here on Sunday morning. We must have hit it at just the right time because we didn't have to wait at all. Our server was great--a red headed guy ( I can't remember his name!) with a great smile. I always think it must be hard to be friendly to people in the morning:), but he was super nice. We asked for his recommendations since we'd never been there before. My husband had eggs and their famous french toast topped with fresh peaches, which was delicious. He also had the bacon. It was amazing. Our server said they cut it themselves, so it's a little thicker than normal, not too salty...really, really good. I had a fabulous avocado and pepper jack omelette with toast. I'm not normally a big toast fan, but this was thick sliced (same bread the french toast was made out of) and great with their raspberry jam (which I think you can also buy). Really good food and great service.

We happened upon Americana on our way to get a few groceries at QFC. I ordered a Peach Basil milkshake that was incredible! I had a simple salad and my son had the lamb burger. The waiter was super pleasant & efficient! We took a look at the Brunch menu, what they are really known for, and it looks delicious. I'll definitely be back when I return to Seattle.

Get there early on Sundays it gets crowded fast. Food and presentation is beautiful. They got us in and out!

Our kids who live in Seattle raved about How good Americana is for breakfast, wow, They were right on! Had the crispy French Toast which I can honestly say is the best I've ever had! We also had the pancake Special, and the egg breakfast. All of us Loved it. We will be back and we highly Recommend this restaurant. Tip: they don't Open until 9 on Sunday, and it fills up fast.

Some friends recommended this place when we were looking for breakfast in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle. The wait was short and we were seated in a long row of tables. There were some nice specials, we settled on the pancake of the day: Orange infused. Just the perfect crispness. Very good. Also got the chicken sausage and eggs. Service was efficient and friendly. Coffee has free refills, and with great flavor. We will return to try the French toast everyone raved about. This place is located in an area with many dining options, but the crowds seem to wait for this place!!! For good reasons.

We were looking for a local place to have breakfast and took a shot at the Americana. We were all pleased with the choices and the food quality. The pancake of the day was blueberry with lemon butter. I have never had better. Something for everyone 13 - 50. Highly recommended!!!

This was such a great find! Their happy hour drinks are some of the lowest around (if you aren't looking for anything fancy) but the food is really the draw. They have a great selection of five dollar appetizers and they were all unique and delicious! Not your average bar fried food appetizers, complex, awesome ingredients and so delicious! I recommend the brusxhetta!

Right on the Broadway Seattle, it is a good place for a variety of Omelettes and sandwiches with coffee and beer. The guys to serve you are fast and friendly. Do try !

We have been to Americana twice in our visit to Seattle. Great food both times. We were there for brunch. Their take on eggs Benedict is unique and delicious. You won't find an English muffin inside this creation. Way better! The frittata special was superb. This is a real gem for great food and friendly service

As first time visitors to Seattle, we found this place by walking down Broadway looking at window menus. It did not disappoint! Easy to mix and match our dinner selections from small/medium/large plates, and despite the name on the door, the menu showed lots of global influences. A big shout-out to our server, Justin, who took great care of us!

It was 3pm and a line to get in, so I knew it had to be a good restaurant. We all had food we liked. I was especially impressed with the homemade salad dressing. The thing that is not so cool is the bathroom is, although locked down the alley, not that nice....

Stopped in as friend suggested and had 2 great meals. Super fast and friendly service. Good people watching :)

There is always a bit of a wait for bunch at this place, but that's also a sign that it's a pretty good place. You can get all your brunch standards, like Eggs Benny or French Toast, and it's all done very well. The service is really nice and chipper, the ambience is nice, and the turnover is pretty fast. Definitely will live up to your expectations for brunch.

Disappointed with the quality of the food, especially the chicken fried steak, that was nothing more than out of the box frozen beef biscuits being passed as steak. Hard, thin, and tasteless, served alongside with eggs that were cold on arrival. Maybe just a very bad day in the kitchen, but one I won't be coming back for seconds.

Hesitant as there was no one else in the restaurant, we dove in anyway. Good happy hour through 6:30 though and they had a very different assortment of appetizers. We had the pork/sirloin meatballs, which were quite tasty with parmsesn cheese and soy sauce, plus the chicken sausage flatbread. Other items were tempting, but we just couldn't fit it all in!

Got there for breakfast on a Wednesday at 9:55am. 10:15 I’m still waiting for them to take my order, so I left. Not too impressed. They were only about half full at the time.

We decided to try out Americana on a Sunday morning around 11:00am. My husband, 2 year old and I put our names down with the hostess who said it would be a 20-40 min wait which we agreed to no problem. The kicker here, is that the hostess with the blue hair said we were waiting for a low top table to clear. A low top table opened about 45 minutes later and I asked her if that was ours. she said no and said she was putting us at a high top table (with a highchair). I was furious because as we're waiting she put several people that came after us at the high top two person tables which was exactly what she said she was putting us at. she actually gave the low table to a group of 4 (we were 3) and I know this because it was my hair stylist who was at the table. She also arrived at least 15 min after we did. She was horribly rude, never said sorry and same with another waiter there who said "I know you have a problem". here is my problem. you treated us horribly because we have a 2 year old. I am also a women of color, while I am not going to accuse them of being racist, I did notice that every single person who was seated before us didn't have kids and was white. Biases exist and you guys clearly have them whether its because I am brown or if its because I have a kid I am not sure but its humiliating and so sad that this happened in our neighborhood. As my husband walked our two year back home to eat something, I decided to go back. the blue haired lady didn't even apologize, I was in her way so she said "excuse me" twice in the most rude tone. She wouldn't even look at me. Was it because I was brown? Was it because I questioned how she was seating people and her biases? I spoke to the manager, who I will say was quite apologetic and nice but the two that were so rude to me never even bothered in apologize. I walked out of their restaurant in tears and so frustrated that I still have to deal with this! in 2019. in Capitol Hill.

Had a great brunch earlier in the week and returned for lunch. The French Toast with berries and maple syrup was crisp crusted and satisfying at brunch with good coffee and juice. The Seattle Slam was a favourite to return for at lunch on a quiet weekday. Friendly atmosphere, fresh food and friendly staff add to a positive experience.

There is always a wait on the weekends so I have avoided going. Finally made it there for brunch. Food was fantastic. We ordered Chicken fried steak - pancakes - Americana Benedict. Little things that matter - coffee while you wait - wait staff were professional and attentive - never had to flag anyone down for coffee or water refill. Just an overall brunch experience. Can't wait to go back and to try dinner.

With lots of options in Capital Hill, we chose Americana for lunch. We were created by a very friendly young man who invited us in for coffee while we waited for space to open up Since it was a busy Saturday, the wait was about 20 minutes. It was very nice to enjoy the complimentary coffee while we waited. Once seated the service was very personable and attentive. The specials were well explained as well as the dishes that are "famous" at Americana. Taking the server's suggestion, we had a delightful breakfast. Aside from the great food and service, Americana seems to attract a broad cross section of customers and it was a great place to people watch too. We enjoyed our meal very much and will look forward to future opportunities to visit!

Myself and my Husband were on a tour of the West coast of the USA and found this restaurant through Groupon. We were in Seattle and figured it would cut costs to prebook some special offers for our meals. We were unsure of what to expect, my husband is a vegetarian who does not eat eggs after two weeks already managing this and an afternoon in the Pike Place Pub where he had a few I was dreading the worst. What we got was a warm welcome from our waitress who was attentive and helpful throughout. Some really nice what we assumed was American comfort food, as we are Brits we were not sure lol. We had Mac and cheese his with mushrooms and mine with bacon. Really nice and filling. Presented in a lovely manner. We also ordered sautied sprouts from the specials, not sounding amazing but they were really nice. I had Ice Tea which was lovely and then we had ice cream. All in all it was a really good restaurant. Great food, value for money in an interesting neighbourhood that we probably would not have ventured into had we not bought the groupon but to be honest if i lived there i would go again really nice and off the beat tourist track.

I was excited to try this place out with some friends but was let down by the food. Portions were small in size and on flavor. We all shared the duck nachos, meatloaf, and burger. None of us left satisfied with our food but we did leave happy. Our happiness was a result of the generous amounts of alcohol in our drinks and shakes as well as the gratitude we felt for having our server. I brought enough money to tip decently but if it had been at the beginning of our pay cycle and not the end, I would have tipped him a lot more. Best service I have ever had! Our waiter was generous, friendly, hilarious, attentive, and made us feel comfortable. On a totally different note, the photo tables are pretty cool. If you go to Americana, go after dinner for drinks and a good time. Not for the food.

Never planned to review this spot to keep it a secret but in 2020 I would hate to see this place fall victim to covid. In my 37 yrs I've always gone with french toast when dining out for breakfast, From NYC, LA, DC to Charleston SC, some of the best food cities in the country, Americana does it better than anyone else imo. fresh fruit compote always changing and always on point. Stumbled on this place 3 yrs ago while visiting Seattle when the hype beast spot down the hill had too long of a wait, and the wife and I have been back 3 more times since then, driving up from Portland for our weekend getaways to indulge in the amazing food Seattle has to offer. The Wife always gets something different Maple glazed pork belly, americana benedict, corned beef hash, and most recently the herbed omelette. Always cleans her plate and even when were stuffed, we take the toast with their crazy good jam to go and eat it later. Definitely a must if you're visiting Seattle.

My daughter and her husband have breakfast here every Sunday morning. So, it’s a treat for me when I visit them to be waiting at 9:00 a. m. for the doors to open. Before I even had a chance to pick up a menu, her tea and his coffee were on the table. Needless to say, service here is exceptional. If I had to choose only one item off the menu to enjoy, it would be the bacon! Quite reminiscent of the bacon that hung in my grandparents’ Oklahoma smokehouse back in the Fifties. Evidently there’s always a couple of specials to go along with the extensive, varied menu...if needed, many gluten-free meals to choose. Seems as though special requests don’t bother them at all. I had the East Coast and it was superb. Be sure to enjoy the homemade jelly and don’t mistake the brown pepper sauce sitting on the table for chocolate. Timing is a factor because once all the tables are full at 9:00, there could be a wait if you aren’t seated during that first round.

I have to say this has got to be the best place I've eaten in Sea town. Hands down great service and friendly server. She made suggestions on breakfast items that were delish!!! It's a dimly lit with a chill vibe. It was breakfast on a Monday morning so it wasn't very busy. AVOCADO & PEPPER JACK OMELET (gluten free) topped with homemade pico de gallo and sour cream. served with potatoes and toast. Yummy. I took a bite into my eggs and I can tell that the cook knew how to season properly. Lots of flavor. In a good way. And the pico de gallo. Perfectly mildly spiced. Potatoes were done well. THE SEATTLE SLAM two pancakes of the day, eggs any style and choice of bacon or chicken sausage. And I think she said it also came with a side of Crispy French toast and berry compote. I'm not sure if they deep fried them but it wasn't greasy and definitely crispy. Also very good. THE BROADWAY (gluten free) two eggs any style with chicken sausage or bavarian meat's bacon. served with potatoes and toast. And the special of the day was ricotta pancakes with strawberry compote. So light and smelled heavenly. I really liked the pancakes here. It's too bad I just found this place and not sooner. It was reasonably priced for what I've had here. And of course street parking is available if u can find a spot. Like most places in Seattle, it's hipster. And prices were reasonable considering I've paid more for less appeaing meal.

We had such a great breakfast at Americana. Super nice and friendly service, food and coffee were excellent. The rustic french toast had a flavor and texture that comes only from thoughtful cooking. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. Eggs cooked perfectly too. Pancakes were so flavorful. Everything tasted fresh like it was made with high quality ingredients. Wish we had this establishment here at home in our neighborhood...we'd be regulars.

Based on the reviews we decided to stop by and try out the brunch at Americana. Great location, close to the light rail on Capitol Hill. The place is somewhat small but they were able to accommodate us with a stroller and baby without an issue. My wife had the Seattle Slam and I settled on the Lamb burger with the sweet potato fries. Both were delicious and delivered fairly quickly, my wife enjoyed the Strawberry pancakes and the scrambled eggs with bacon, it was fresh and tasty. The lamb burger was also done well, it was tasty, however without the aggressive lamb-taste which I really liked. The only cons about the place: my coffee order was forgotten and it was billed. After I mentioned it, they took it off immediately so I believe was other then a honest mistake on their end. The table was close to a door which was almost a revolving door with constant air coming in. The last thing on value, the portions were okay but I think for the money they were not exceptionally rich, I guess have to pay for the location. Overall if you are looking for a place for brunch, Americana is a great choice!

Service was friendly, timely. We never got our second bowl of popcorn we requested(appetizer) but both meals were delicious! I had the gnocchi with duck, my son had the bison enchiladas. Limited menu yet unique. I couldnt finish mine(my son took care of that) but he was a little hungry yet so I would say the mediumsize meal would not be quite enough for a man unless ordering a side. I don't know who the chef was but I loved his talent & thought it was great he served our meal himself, a nice added touch. I would definitely recommend this place!

This is a fantastic breakfast spot! Get the pancakes of the week, they are incredible. I tasted everything our party of 8 ate, it was all delicious!

We had dinner at the restaurant. Mac and cheese was good, but the "seasonal vegetables" dish turned out to be just cauliflower (small portion) and the atmosphere was not so special too.

Our group came in for dinner just because we liked the menu. We could not have been more pleased. The restaurant in clean and inviting. The menu is varied enough but not overly complicated or lengthy. We were greeted by a pleasant server who promptly brought us a dish of complementary truffle oil popcorn which was delicious and nice to munch on while we made our selections. Everything that we ordered was delectable and visually appealing. One of my favorites was the chicken andouille sausage corndogs: cooked to perfection and very good quality. Also delicious were the zucchini fries which was a generous portion that was too heavily breaded nor too greasy and the dipping sauces was the perfect accompaniment. We also tried the fried cornish game hen which was flavorful and juicy and the wonderful venison meatloaf which was served with the most delicious smoked gouda tater tots. Everything we ordered was tasty, fresh, and well presented. Service was exceptional and the overall dining experience was very enjoyable and memorable. Prices were reasonable for Seattle. This is a must try if you are in the neighborhood.

Good brunch. Had blueberry pancakes with lemon "cake"? Great music, great atmosphere, cool building.

I live in Tacoma Washington, but I come up to Seattle once or twice a week. Between meetings I was looking for a place to hang out and have some breakfast. This place did not disappoint. My boyfriend and I both had Bailey's and coffee for drinks. The coffee had a great flavor and didn't water down the drink like a lot of other places. I also had the Irish Oatmeal (gluten free) topped with a whole sliced banana and served with cream, brown sugar, and a side of gluten free toast. It was wonderful. Everything was exactly what I was looking for. The only small complaint that I have is the jam that I got along with the toast. I asked for raspberry jam, and it was unlike anything I have seen. It seemed really processed and a little "plasticy'. If they had real jams that tasted good... this would have been 5 stars for sure. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed, the staff stays on top of everything, the food is well thought out and good. Just change the jam and we've got a winner :)

First time visiting Seattle and decided to try this restaurant. Best french toast I've ever had. Do not leave this place without trying it! Great menu with lots of options. Amazing food and friendly service. Definitely stop by if you get the chance.

What wonderful brunch and the decor is excellent . Pleasant staff coffee great eggs just perfect. Vibrant atmosphere owner so helpful

The brunch here is SO good! I am a sucker for the bacon/arugula/egg sandwich. It makes my day so much better! Not as much of a fan of their dinner, but def give the brunch a go... Just get there early for a table.
Capital Hill gem
Great friendly service on the Hill. Applesauce pancakes, the current special, are remarkable. French toast is always unbeatable. Opens at 9:00 am.
