FUN PLACE AND EXCELLENT FOOD

By Scot Gal |

This was absolutely so much fun! The food was excellent - the service excellent. We had Millet family pasta, filet of sole, ossobucco, chicken Parmesan, Ghnocci, and fettuccine Alfredo. You must have a reservation. Plan for an evening reservation after 7pm and you may get in on a special surprise! They turn up the music and hand out hats according to whatever seasonal decor they have at the time! Decorations change seasonally and you never know what you’ll be surprised with!

Overpriced mediocre food

Terrible overpriced food. Don't waste your money on this gimmicky tourist trap. Unbelievably loud music. Very much so a gimmick. There are far better options in Atlanta

Very creamy but not much flavor

I am on a quest to try the best places in Atlanta to see which one is really the best. The atmosphere is so cute here. But I can’t say I was blown away by the food. I wanted more pepper to my dish but couldn’t get the attention of the staff.

Children's Birthday Party Place

By catt711 |

This is a super cute spot for a kid's birthday party, but if you're celebrating someone over 10 years old, I would skip it. The food is overpriced and not very good. It reminded me of the somewhat sad Jersey Shore Italian restaurants I've been too. The wait staff is friendly enough but not professional and not knowledgeable about food or wine. We were 5 adults and put in a room full of children's birthday parties—we ended up making the best of it, but I would not recommend.

Happy 7 year old ! Thanks Amore !

We celebrated my grandson 7th Birthday at Amore, fantastic experience. Staff went over and beyond to make it special, especially for the kids. Got lucky that night and they even had a balloon artist. Good and drinks were as always excellent.

Delicious and fun!

Amore e Amore was an absolute treat. The current decor is a Harry Potter theme, and it created a fun ambiance. The food was perfect. We enjoyed the mozzarella caprese, gnocchi vodka, and filet medallions. If you are looking for an authentic restaurant with delicious food and a fun dining experience, Amore e Amore is your place! Can't wait to go back to Atlanta to visit again!

Cool experience and Great Food

My daughter and I had the best time trying Amore e Amore, place was decorated on our trip in Circus theme. Dinner and staff were excellent. A cool must try. Neat for kids and adults

Fun experience!

Not sure how Alice and Wonderland got mixed up with this Italian Restaurant, but the decor is wild! We went to celebrate a birthday and the first thing they give you is cheesy party hats! Fun! Really hot bread comes to your table with a garlic butter that will leave the taste in your mouth for quite some time! (Don't get me wrong, it's good, but very potent!) We started with melon and ham. There was more ham than the melon, but the ham was not salty and quite good. I had the lamb and pasta special -- very tasty and hubby had the veal (huge plate of food). Daughter had the salmon and pasta (she liked it, but not as much as the other entrees). The drinks were quite nice. There was a mixup and we never glasses of wine with dinner and they apologized and gave us limoncello with our desserts. Loved the creme brulee and daughter had the lava cake. We were quite full after dinner! There were several birthdays, so lots of hats, drinks, etc. The meal was quite good and a fun time!

Enchanting

Absolutely enchanting Valentine’s dinner. The food was cooked to perfection. The drinks were delicious with unique holiday touches. The service was fantastic, attentive, and courteous. We were kindly welcomed and never felt rushed at all. Enjoyed the atmosphere and had a wonderful night together. Looking forward to returning for another special night.

A bit outlandish but good food

This place looks like a dive from the exterior other than all the themed decor. It is family owned/operated for years we were told by our hotel who recommended. It is a fun place, excellent food but pricey. Expect to spend $30 or more per entree. The night we were there the exterior & interior were Carnival. It was crazy and a bit claustrophobic but requires reservations due to the size and it was full.

bit disappointing

This was always one of my favorite restaurants , even brought 17 people for a private bday celebration for a VERY $ price, have to say, the girl who claimed to be owners daughter was so rude to us upon arriving it was SO uncalled for, very disheartening . and the food delivered for the price was disappointing.. Unfortunately dont know if we will be back,, miss the old service , This is def not how you treat someone who is paying 4,000 dollars for dinner.

Nice addition to Italian list for Atlanta

Friends recommended Amore e Amore in Atlanta and we’re glad they did. We gathered a party of eight and had a blast, trying this and that and getting into the ambience of a unique restaurant that makes dining an experience. It seems like they like different themes and can help a party break out — think party hats, loud music and such — at any moment. You can get a ride there and avoid parking issues, or use their valet parking or side street spots if you are patient. Appears you really better have a reservation, and get ready for a “busy” atmosphere with lots of friendly folks. We tried a variety of appetizers and drinks and shared them as well as a variety of menu items, including chicken parm, Alfredo, the house special, shrimp dishes, etcetera. One difference we noted was that many of the dishes needed to be ordered with a side of pasta (a bit pricey, it seemed, at $12-14 for a medium size bowl) so be sure to ask what comes with your entree selection. The sauces were all tasty, and we assumed very authentic to the style of Italian cooking offered. Several in our party added desserts which they described as fabulous. They add the tip in for larger parties, like most places, but made a point of telling us that when paying which was ok. It was a shade under $100 a person, all right for a special gathering but well worth the experience with family and friends.
