Yumm! Great for take out if you are in Woodland Hills or surrounding area. Red curry very good!!!!!!

After having a child, we definitely have a more limited radius as to where we can eat, which means some sacrifice on deliciousness. However, we definitely don't feel like we've had to sacrifice with Anantra Thai. We followed them from their old location near De Soto Ave. and Ventura Blvd., to their new location near Topanga Canyon Blvd. and Ventura Blvd. Their take on garden wraps (fresh spring roll) is delicious, as is their soft shell crab, tom kha soup, etc. They also do a big delivery ($2 with $15 minimum order) and take out service if you can't eat in (which is also incredibly helpful). We also order from them when we need to feed large groups at our house, and everyone loves the food every time.

Over the last 2 years, I’ve ordered takeout numerous times. The food is always good and the service is prompt. My favorites are the won ton soup & pad thai.

Been coming to this place for months ands always have a great service and excellent food! I definitely recommend this place if you love tai good

We first ate here several years ago and it was very good. Our most recent trip was a big disappointment. The chicken larb was so drenched in lime juice that one might as well have had a glass of lime juice. The eggplant dish had almost no flavor although we ordered it medium spicy. Wait staff was as indifferent as the food.

Best Thai food and best service! I love the pad-see-u. It’s my go to dish. Also love the Thai tea and Thai dumplings - my all time favorite place to get Thai food in Woodland Hills!

The best Thai food I’ve had in the Valley! Clean, delicious, fresh and fast delivery. Great variety in the menu. I would definitely recommend for s tarry meal!

The food was great! Prepared quickly and fresh. The service was very attentive and friendly. We ate inside the restaurant which wasn't very busy at 6:30 pm, but there seemed to be a very active take out business. We would go back.

The seafood soup is soooo good 😝 has a good amount of seafood items inside and the spicy is oh sooo right

This place was a favourite until my last experience. Arrived about 9pm midweek - and after a short wait, as no one was on the front desk we were shown to a table by an unfriendly waitress. We were pleased to be served by another waitress however she also proved to be almost just as unfriendly . No sooner had we finished our starter we we informed that the kitchen was closing therefore we needed to decide if we wanted a desert?! Really ?!!! I have eaten in many restaurants and never experienced this before ! Whilst there were no problems with the food all around us the staff were busy getting ready to close for the evening and we felt totally unwelcomed and rushed. No restaurant is so good that they can put the chefs schedule before a paying customer! Not impressed.

We have been in LA for a few days and are craving for rice tonight. Our host at bnb suggested this great place to us. The food is yummy and the staffs are very nice. They helped us to add more ginger to the veggies upon our request. Worth coming😋

Great food, great service, great prices! I go there almost every day for lunch and I am greeted by friendly waiters and they really care about their guests.

This is my go-to Thai restaurant. The food is always excellent (and they make it very spicy when you ask for it!) and the staff is very friendly. I can not recommend this place enough- go now! And get the Devil Noodle very spicy to feel the wonderful burn.

Delicious food. Great menu variety.. and the best state of the art online delivery experience. My family would choose Anatra on taste alone, but that and the easy of delivery makes them our go to (us) Thai food every time.

Anantra has become my go-to Thai restaurant of late -- my faves are the Tom Yum soup, the spring rolls (the best in the Valley), the curries, and the pad thai. Deliveries are always fresh, generous, super accurate and on time. Their website is a pleasure. When I ask for the food to be "not spicy" for the kiddos, they oblige and it is kid approved! I appreciate that their curries are not too sweet like some other Thai places. My only suggestions are for their peanut sauce and Tom Kha soup to be less sweet, and that they mix some black and red rice into their brown rice. Other than that they are rocking it!

Some of the best Thai food in the valley! Highly recommend, I have yet to have a bad meal! Try the pad Thai for sure

I had an unbelievable experience here, Cat was one of the most helpful and friendly people I've ever interacted with in this area. She was extremely knowledgeable and informed about all the offerings and allowed me to take up all kinds of time while I was trying to make up my mind. She was totally professional and courteous the entire time and made my experience with this restaurant several times better. The service is always fast and friendly and the aroma/taste of the food is astounding. Both before and during COVID, the service was terrific and during the whole time, safety was carefully and rigorously followed to help keep everyone healthy. They have a very well put together online delivery service as well which helps streamline everything. I have never once been disappointed or dissatisfied with anything at this or their other locations. I am very happy to have them so closeby as well, right off Topanga & Ventura. They are located in a really convenient and comfortable section of this particular shopping area, their spot and the surroundings are vibrant and flourishing with all kinds of fun and cool things to experience. It is very easy to find, it has a beautiful front that can be seen next to the other well kept neighboring businesses. There is a large parking lot with many spots so parking shouldn't be a concern at all. There are so many options to choose from, a wide-ranging list of offerings. Every order I've had with them has been completely accurate and exact, getting all the details correct. Although I really enjoy and savor the Thai food from all the places I've been to, especially in The Valley, Anantra's is at the top of the list and everyone should try it at least once. The most recent item I ordered was their chicken salad and it was one of the best that I've had in a long time, it was perfectly prepared and seasoned. It was hot, fresh, and nothing was leaking or dripping which is a definite plus. I found their pricing to be very reasonable and sensible, you don't need to 'break the bank' when coming here. I really loved their ambiance and atmosphere, it had a great feel to it when you're there. The layout also works out really well, with the tables and seating arranged just right to allow comfortable seating for everyone inside. Everything is also extremely clean and spotless inside as well. If you're in the area during lunch, make sure to check out their lunch specials too, they're really good and you get a lot of value for your money. This is one of those places that you can dine in or take it out and still everything is on point. For those who are vegan, there are plenty of options here as well that would be feasible to order. Another thing I like is that the portions are very hearty and everything seems to still taste amazing if having them as leftovers later on. Another cool thing is that they have/had a dog-friendly patio, so you can bring them along for the experience. I can't think of anything to criticize about this restaurant or the service Cat provided, it was all such a good experience with such helpful people, am looking forward to visiting again and spreading the word to people I know.

Possibly the worst 'Thai' Restaurant I have ever eaten at. I would not even call this food Thai. The portions are also so gigantic they are unappetizing too, it's as if they are serving hogs or pigs, the way to do the food. Too bad, the reviews are good, not really sure who are doing these reviews? Tom Yam Soup was bad, not like Thailand. The Massaman Curry, was so strange, not at all like Thailand. The steamed white rice, was the ONLY thing that was good. I would not even send an enemy to this restaurant, just terrible.

Best Thai food in the valley!! Always add a side of peanut sauce bc it’s amazing. We Love the Cashew Chicken! Get on it. Online ordering so easy and always perfect.

I was on my way to visit a friend and his family in Woodland Hills and needed to pick up some food. He recommended Anantra. Despite my large order of six entrees, it was ready to go when I walked in the door 15 minutes later. I arrived right at closing time, but the late hour did not faze the staff at all. And the food was delicious!

Ordered online was easy at first then the order said there was a problem. I thought it might be because I was ordering for family in California but live in d.c. So I called and the woman advised me that everything was ok and they had the right information. She set my mind at ease. My parents received the food and was so pleased! I also truly appreciated that they called me to let me know they dropped off the food to my parents. Truly grateful🙏

Small restaurant in the corner of a strip mall - very easy to miss. Restaurant looked a little basic inside and the covered outdoor area was also basic. However, the food was excellent. The staff were pleasant, service was quick and the food was fantastic. Price was good too. Highly recommended.

The food is always exactly as we expect, good food, really good food, great food Very nice people too

Great food, nice covered patio. Satey, pad Thai and curries are nice: they even have a vegan curry which is great! Nice service by Thai staff.

This was our first time trying Anantra. We were looking for Thai delivery, and saw it had good reviews. Delivery was prompt, and delivery guy was friendly. Food was excellent! Got the vegetable curry spicy. Boy was it! Amazing. And a really good Pad Thai. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

We started with Gyoza fried dumplings. Very delicious. I was not a fan of the Thai dumpling. A little dry not exciting. The red curry with shrimp was great. Tasty and very balanced flavors. The Crab fried rice was fabulous. Very fresh ingredients. I loved the way the flavors expressed themselves. The chicken wings which we ordered with the sauce on the side. The sauce was good but the wings were over cooked for me. The devil noodles with chicken were very good. The soft shell crab was a totally different version. It was too stringy looking for me. The deep fried cat fish was definitely overcooked. I think you have to be selective to order the right dishes. The two waitresses were very nice and helpful.. I would come back but I would need to pick dishes wisely.

This was my second time eating here but my first review. Service was perfect. Food was excellent. Value was good and leftovers were eaten before going to bed 4 hrs. later! This is a small restaurant with an outside eating area that is enclosed. As it was a cold evening, we ate inside in a booth for four. They offer green, yellow and red curry which some restaurants do not offer. My husband wanted the vegetables that come with yellow curry (potato, onion and carrot) but with the green curry sauce which he thought would be spicier. Our waitress said they would make the yellow curry spicier so he ordered that. It was VERY spicy. I ordered their medium spicy fried rice with no egg (I am vegan) and as an appetizer, fried tofu. I wound up cutting the cute triangles (lightly fried and tender) into thirds and added it to my rice and the sauce from the tofu and made myself a huge plate of a delicious dinner. Our friends ordered and shared the Pad Thai and the Orange Chicken which came in an amount that could have served four people. Very sweet and very crunchy, The appetizer plate was shared with me getting 2 of the 4 veggie rolls, and the others eating chicken satay, something with crab and one other item and the four sauces were stupendous. A sweet, a peanut, a chili and one other sauce were dipped, spooned and spread on both my veggie rolls and into my rice dish. I had my rice/tofu packed to go and finished it at 11:30 p.m. when getting home from the Write off Room next door. This restaurant closes early (9:15 p.m.) and due to its size, I would make a reservation as we did however, at 6:15 we saw other tables and booths open which filled quickly by 7:00 p.m. It is hard to see as it is in the far northwest inner corner of the shopping center on Ventura Blvd, and Topanga. Really delicious food.

Living in the SF valley, food options can be limited sometimes. Anantra makes lots of enjoyable thai dishes. We really enjoy the dumplings, shrimp curry and devil noodles. If you are brave, have the devil noodles made very spicy and be prepared.

The food is delicious and plentiful. The staff is very helpful and they will customize your order. Lots of options for vegetarians, as well. Try the yellow curry, spring rolls, pad thai, devil noodles, garlic green beans. Really, I don't think you can go wrong with anything. We order delivery, often, and they are very quick and accurate with food delivery. Highly recommended.

This is my go-to Thai restaurant with my husband. I love all of their curry dishes and he loves their noodles. We always leave very satisfied and the service is always very friendly and quick! The prices are also great.

Really amazing Thai food. Authentic, fresh, and great flavors. Love the pad see ew. It’s our favorite Thai place over the 4 other local Thai restaurants!

Excellent food!! One of the best Thai food out there. Would totally recommend. Have been here for lunch and dinner a few times would only come here for Thai food from now on.

Food was good. Menu has lots of good selections. The service was attentive and good. I plan to go again.

Trip advisor is amazing. This place is the bomb. We had a variety and everyone really enjoyed it. Service was on it. If in the area you should check this place out.

We have had Anantra Thai delivered to us four times. The food is always exactly as ordered, well packaged and hot on arrival, deliciously prepared with the perfect ingredients and always takes our taste buds back to a cherished trip we took to Thailand a few years ago. We cannot recommend Anantra Thai any higher, you will love it.

This has become one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Valley! The food is fresh, service is amazing! The garden fresh spring rolls are one of my favorites along with the BBQ chicken entree!

I had the Naked Shrimp salad. While I will say that the shrimp was excellent, I would hardly call it a salad. There was a bunch of zucchini on the plate and hardly any lettuce. I was extremely disappointed. Only saving grace was that the shrimp was excellent and plentiful. But NOT a salad. Bummed out

Great little corner of a restaurant. Unfortunately they close in the afternoons but the food was fast and fresh which I was happy with. Staff were pleasant :) The outdoor seating is handy!

We liked mango fish and vegan veg curry, calm atmosphere, good service. A plus for the location is that next door is the Write-off Room for great music.

The food is fresh and delicious. The pad Thai noodles and Tom Kha soup were soooo good. Service was excellent. Authentic and tasty Thai food. Definitely worth checking out .

After trying this restaurant the first time, we were anxious to come back the second time to make sure the food was consistent with the first time. It did not disappoint! In fact, we enjoyed it even more as we tried additional items that were not tried the first time. The restaurant gives you choices of meat, chicken, fish, shrimp to any of their entrees. We got an assortment including tofu added to yellow curry, and added to the Pad See You with Chicken, Eggplant Lover with Shrimp, Pork added to Spicy Fried Rice and a delicious Green Bean vegetable dish - all perfect for 4 people. The service was fantastic and very attentive; and we appreciated how accommodating they were to us. We will be back very soon!

Anantra is our go-to for Thai take-out! We love their green curry and Pad See Yew. Portion sizes are generous, vegetables are fresh and they'll make it as spicy (or not spicy!) as you want! Two thumbs up for Anantra Thai!

I eat here at least once a week sometimes twice . Everything I have ordered here has been fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and the chefs are amazing.

Not very crowded but nicely redecorated. Good menu but slow service. Food was good enough. Had pad thai noodles, steak and green beans and dumplings. Steak was very tender, noodles well made, dumplings just so so but nicely presented.
Three times not a charm!
This was our 3rd time eating here and the food is always good. However...... There were 4 of us and we sat in a nice booth on the left side. We were approached quickly and asked if we wanted to place a drink order which we did. We ordered the Assorted Appetizer plate and said we would place our individual dinners when they came. Appetizers were good but 2 items only had 2 of that choice making it hard to share with 4 of us. Also, but no explanation of the 3 different sauces placed on the table as to spice levels. After clearing those plates, two of the individual dinner orders came first which were the vegan curry dishes, then after waiting 6-7 minutes, they brought our friends shrimp dish but no dinner for our fourth friend. She had ordered Pad Thai. A full 10 mins. AFTER the 3rd dinner came was when she got her dinner. She had insisted we three start eating when our food came rather than let them get cold. If we had waited, that would have been almost 15 minutes! We asked what the problem was, and our friends dinner turns out (according to the waitress) to be made in a special section of their kitchen while the curries are made separately and the other main dinner in another section of the kitchen. This explanation was irrational. We were almost done with our dinner before the Pad Thai was served. Now, wait another minute!!! Knowing the curries are fast to spoon into a bowl with veggies or a protein, wouldn't you put those orders in a few minutes after putting in the order for the one item that takes the longest! I had actually seen another review that mentioned their food did not come out at the same time in a timely manner. If we were all sharing all the dinners that may have been ok but we each ordered our own and not to share. P.S. The food was good, but appetizer plate not shareable for 4.
