It is very hard to find a restaurant that can accommodate my allergy to garlic and still provide an exceptional meal. Last night My sister and I dined at Andaluca, and I am thrilled to report that their chef was up to the task. We shared the pear salad ( toasted hazelnuts, blue cheese, thinly sliced pears on a bed of mixed greens.) the waitress brought me tiny pitchers of olive oil and balsamic so I could mix my own dressing. The scallops were perfect, and favorable. Kudos! My sister reports that the black cod was beautifullly presented and delicious.

We stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel and had two breakfasts at Andaluca. Though on the expensive side, the breakfast was well worth it, as it was way beyond the average breakfast. I had the leek and fennel omelette and my husband had the Mediterranean omelette...both were delicious. I had requested sautéed vegetables instead of potatoes and the amount was huge and again, delicious. Our server was very friendly and gave us excellent service. The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect with it's Mediterranean decor.

We went to Seattle for a pre-Christmas get away/shopping trip where we stayed at The Mayflower Park Hotel. We had dinner and two breakfasts at Andaluca. It was fabulous. We will be sure to return next time we are in Seattle. Their breakfasts in particular are special and delicious.

Found this lovely restaurant a few minutes walk from our hotel. It is a large space and can be noisy but we had no trouble hearing one another. The meal was excellent-scallops and Chilean sea bass. Highly recommended for attentive service as well. Bravi

We had very good dinner in Andaluca. We had multiple things including mushroom soup, hummus kawarma, paella and grilled halibut. The soup was good but nothing special, I make better mushroom soup at home. The kawarma and halibut were very tasty but you get quite little portion for your money. The paella was very good. The server was fantastic. I think his name was Bruce. All in all it is fine dining but I don't think is that level high to justify the pricing. Good for one time experience.

The Restaurant is very nice the food is superb and the service very good, friendly and the staff is very knowledgeable about what they serve and the wine

We used this restaurant for 3 breakfasts & one dinner as we were guests of Mayflower Park hotel. Hotel guests get 15% discount. Lovely breakfast. Good coffee & plenty of refills. Some different menu options. Nice dinner without being exceptional. I had the grilled lemon chicken which was tasty. At $29 quite expensive for what was basically chicken, mash & carrots with gravy! Very handy though for tired hotel guests like us who didn’t have the energy to go elsewhere.

Stayed in Seattle for a few days and on our last evening ate dinner at this wonderful restaurant. Had a delicious eggplant appetizer and a wonderful vegetable risotto. My other half had a delicious pork chop with a tasty garnish and a creamy polenta. Our desert was an outstanding fruit pastry wrapped in phyllo. Our waitress was outstanding

The food was delicious and the service was fast! Great place to eat your breakfast and enjoy their incredible Bloody Marys.

Andaluca is outstanding! Breakfast, lunch or dinner - the melas are fantastic and the service is great. Kudos to the Chef! Highly recommend!

Just wow! We have eaten here on several occasions and not once have we been disappointed. Every single time we visit the staff, service and food are first class. I'd highly recommend visiting and enjoying a meal here. Superb!

On a rainy Seattle evening, we met old friends for a special holiday dinner. Just two couples seeking a great meal and warm companionship during our visit back 'home'. The food was magnificent and our server absolutely the best combination of thoughtful and prompt without hovering.

Whenever I see that my own experience varies widely from others I feel both obligated to post a review but do so with some hesitancy. Let me quickly say that the service was excellent and professional. Certainly if you're staying at the Mayflower and someone suggests just staying close to home for dinner, you'll find the overall experience pleasant. But because of the food, I just can't recommend it. I do not have a refined palate, and perhaps I'm missing subtle flavors that others taste. But the pear salad at $11 was, for me, completely uninspired. I would have enjoyed some Safeway lettuce with Newman's poppy seed dressing more. My salmon entree was certainly edible, even tasty; but priced in the high 30s with some uninteresting vegetables, I don't think it's good value. Overall, I think you can do better.

We had a wonderful experience. The place is super classy and we felt a little underdressed. No matter, we had no problems getting seating and had an excellent meal. Our waiter was very good and a cute older man. He was obviously very experienced and talented. Everything we ate was artistically prepared and fresh. The crab tower was chilled and fresh, the pork belly tender and well season, the linguine with clams was one of my boyfriend's favorite dishes of the whole trip. Highly recommended and would come back!

Stumbled across this restaurant and we're glad we did. The regular breakfast potatoes are a mix of Yukon & sweet potatoes. But the Vegetable Hash with butternut squash, kale, mushrooms, peppers, and onions was savory pleasure.

My husband and I ate dinner here on a Saturday night for a special occasion and were absolutely delighted with the food quality and excellent service. These elements were so outstanding that I cannot give a lower rating despite the overly dark room (too much wood and low light) and the really long trek that my husband made twice to reach the men's room. The journey included flights of stairs and a door code.Though I didn't use it, the women's room was easily accessible from the restaurant, which is part of the Mayflower Park Hotel. From the time we entered Andaluca at 6 p.m. until our departure at 8 p.m., service excelled. The pleasant hostess greeted us immediately and gave us a choice of a table or booth. We chose the booth. Our server arrived promptly and later ensured that all our questions about the menu were answered. She remained attentive throughout the meal and was a delight to interact with. We started with a bread service that came with tasty hummus and baba ganoush. This was so good that we ordered a second helping. We split a delicious carrot and avocado salad, filled with many carrots and other fresh ingredients but only a few spots of avocado. My husband opted for risotto as his main dish. It contained many tasty items, including tumeric cauliflower. My chicken dish with carrots and mashed potatoes was perfectly prepared and seasoned in such a way that it was far beyond what sounds like comfort food. We decided to split a panna cotta with fresh berries for dessert. I had made reservations through Open Table for dinner here and mentioned that we would be celebrating my husband's birthday. The panna cotta arrived with a lit candle, and management compted this dessert. The restaurant remained extremely quiet throughout our dinner. Recorded music played softly and I noted only 10 other diners nearby. Andaluca is Downtown, where street parking is scarce. The restaurant offers valet parking, and parking garages and lots are nearby. We chose to park in a garage and it cost $6 for three hours.

Great atmosphere. Good menu. I had the black cod. It was just slightly over cooked but still very good and well presented. The rest of our party of four left very satisfied. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. I did feel the place was a bit overpriced however.

My husband and I ate at Andaluca when we were guests at the Mayflower Park Hotel. We were able to get reservations right away. We enjoyed the prime rib roast and the pork chop. We also had liquid chocolate for dessert. The highlight of our dinner was a delicious bottle of wine from right here in Washington state, the Kevin white red blend. Overall, great food and great service. Don’t miss this restaurant!

This quiet restaurant was a wonderful choice for my husband’s birthday dinner, and we will certainly be back. Food was very good to spectacular, as was my nice red wine. Everything was good, from the excellent fresh bread with hummus and babaganoush and tossed arugula salad to my vegetarian tagine and my husband’s perfect pork loin to the evilly delicious melted chocolate lava cake the restaurant provided without being asked for my husband’s dessert. Service was wonderful— friendly, helpful and timely. This place is quiet and pretty too.

The restaurant was quite busy and the atmosphere pleasant. We enjoyed our starters - pork belly for one and pear salad the other. For a main course we decided to share a paella about which we heard favourable comments but we were disappointed - the fish was grossly overcooked. Since we were staying at the hotel we were entitled to a discount in the restaurant. Despite the fact our waiter knew we were staying at the hotel, this discount was conveniently omitted from our bill. The omission was soon corrected. Whether accidental or not, it left a poor impression.

Only ate breakfast here, although the servings are generous there was something a little off about the thoughtfulness in the preparation and taste. For a restaurant that has beautiful surroundings and good service the food itself was very ordinary.

We had the pot roast here and it was fabulous. Their housemade dishes were very creative and delicious.

We had a wonderful experience at this fine restaurant located in the Mayflower Hotel. The plethora of outstanding reviews for this place are well deserved. The atmosphere and ambiance are very pleasing....a very good choice for a romantic dinner with your SO. We were seated at the corner table next to the window. It was kind of a hybrid table/booth....in my opinion it was the best seat in the house. Our server was friendly, courteous, professional and helpful with her recommendations. My wife had the risotto with cauliflower and a side dish of asparagus. I had the sliced rib roast. The potatoes and fresh vegetables that accompanied my meal were cooked perfectly. The only small negative in my opinion was that my beef was sitting atop a mound of cooked kale. I don't mind a little kale in my salad but this was too bitter for my taste....spinach would have been a better choice or just a nice demi glaze sauce. Both my wife and I agreed that this was one of our best meals on our recent trip to the Pacific Northwest!

This was one of those occasions where the research you do when trying to find somewhere to eat doesn’t do the place justice. From the staff to the ambience to the food itself, everything was brilliant. I can’t speak highly enough of how much I rated the experience here. It’s a pity I wasn’t in town (was in Seattle for about 18 hours) otherwise I’d have definitely gone back there again!

The room is cozy and the tables and booths are well-spaced and service was friendly but unobtrusive. Brunch had some great and unusual items- a root vegetable hash with grilled radicchio, Hawaiian French toast, and a diced ham dish. Roasted potatoes were primo, and the coffee refills kept coming. This was a great downtown Sunday brunch spot, not crazy busy.

We found this gem of a restaurant on Trip Advisor! Lovely small, charming, intimate restaurant. The staff is outstanding - extremely friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. We shared the pear salad, each enjoyed the seasonal risotto (the best we’ve ever eaten!), and shared the lemon mascarpone panna cotta. We highly recommend this delightful restaurant!

We hit Restaurant Week by accident...and the menu was amazing. I had the halibut along with a pear goat cheese salad and a chocolate caramel concoction that put the meal over the top. Our waiter was amazing —so excited about the food and drink. The host was about a diametrically opposed to the waiter as could be (dour, unable to be personable in the least) so luckily he was not a player in our meal past seating us. The sangria was underwhelming—not as flavorful as I hoped for. I opted for red after that. The fish was cooked to perfection and all side dishes were scrumptious.

Had breakfast here twice during our stay at the Mayflower Park. The meal was real good and the service good but it was a lot to pay for just a breakfast.

I lived in Spain for one year and know by experience the taste of a good paella. The one I got at ANDALUCA was terrible. I am really disappointed. Looks like the cook has no idea of what a paella is. At the end I paid almost $70.00 for 1 little glass of sangria, the hummus kawarma and the paella.

This restaurant is in our hotel, and we decided it was best to dine here because it was already on the late side. We did not regret our choice, for the food is excellent. We shared a butternut squash salad, my wife had the pork chop and I had the duck breast, she had panna cotta for dessert and I a Creme Catalan. Everything was extremely tasty. The Yakima Valley wine we had by the glass was also very good. The service was unusually good, so all in all, it was a fine dinner.

While our choice was governed by convenience (staying at the comfortable Mayflower Park) as it turned out the restaurant delivered the best main courses of any of several quality places we ate over 2-3 weeks. The choice of courses was interesting, and the fish very tasty and imaginatively prepared. Wines were good quality and reasonably priced (though not cheap) and the various waiters who attended to us very professional. Starters were good too. The restaurant also does a high quality served breakfast.

It was our first to Andalucas but it won't be the last. I had the best paella I've ever tasted & my husband's halibut was excellent. Cozy and elegant atmosphere, wonderful service.

If you are looking for a big Mac, this is probably not the place for you. But if you want delicious, gourmet, well executed food, from breakfast to supper with superb service, you have got to try Andaluca. It is attached to the Mayflower Park Hotel and just around the corner from the monorail and light rail.

After holding a prime corner table for our party of four on Saturday, September 30, the very gracious hostess quickly (and cheerfully) moved us to the other side of the restaurant due to an especially boisterous party at the adjoining booth. By doing this, she turned what would have been an unpleasant dining experience into a lovely evening. The food was excellent, the ambiance very pleasant and the service was top-notch. Two of us shared a paella which was very tasty and more than sufficient. The pork belly appetizer was outstanding and the bread service with baba ganoush and hummus was especially good.

Restaurant Andaluca has a romantic ambiance and would be excellent for a special occasion. It was given a very positive build-up by the staff at our hotel. As a consequence we had high expectations. Our starters, the Hummus Kawarma served with a pitta and the Shish Taouk certainly met them. Sadly the grilled halibut, which we both ordered, did not. It was slightly overcooked, so hard in parts. This was a shame. The accompanying vegetables were excellent though. I would rate the meal good rather than great because of this. We will book in again with fingers crossed as we both liked the restaurant and its menu choices. Staff are very professional and helpful.

We headed here for breakfast as the reviews on TripAdvisor were great. When we arrived it was a little more upscale then we’d anticipated but we were still happy to go in. However on entering (with our two young children) we were greeted with ‘you’ll have to wait 10 minutes as my kitchen is busy and needs time to catch up’ even though there were a few empty tables. No smile, no warm greeting, no offer of a menu to peruse. We did wonder if children weren’t welcome but were later handed the kids menu so decided this wasn’t the case. The menu is varied but not cheap. $13 for oats with some fruit and sugar and $5.50 (yes, $5.50!!) for a very small apple juice for our 4 year old. The food arrived relatively promptly and was very tasty but when we asked for the bill we’d been charged for a hot tea that we hadn’t ordered. They did quickly rectify this but I wonder how many people don’t check their bill before paying it so this mistake goes unnoticed. Would we go back? No, probably not. We weren’t made to feel particularly welcome or valued as customers so we’ll go elsewhere next time and spend our money in an establishment that makes us feel as if they’re happy to have us.

Andaluca has been our favorite place to dine in Seattle, and the reason we stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel - in which it is located. This visit left us less thrilled than our earlier experiences. The spacing of the courses was off and we waited much too long for the delivery of our main dishes. Our carrot and avocado salad was nothing special, my wife's duck breast was cooked as ordered and tasty. My paella was outstanding, as good as a memorable paella I ate in Valencia. The next morning we had breakfast there. My mediterranean omelette was filling and tasty. My spouse's Shakshuka was excellent and we recommend it. The wait staff was professional, and at breakfast very accommodating about substitutions.

High class smaller venue. Great service and excellent food. Not a cookie cutter chain! Located in the classic Mayflower Hotel.

We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there and both times the service and food were outstanding. Will be back for sure.

This was our second celebration dinner at Andaluca -- this time for our 29th wedding anniversary. For the second time, we were two couples and for the second time the ambience, service and food were exceptional. Bruce, who must be the waiter with the best memory in all Seattle, actually remembered us from our dinner there 18 months or so ago. Once again, his recommendations of food and wine gave us a wonderful dining experience, topped off by a complimentary dessert to share. Our Seattle-area friends who were dining with us for their first time at Andaluca said they would be sure to return. So will we.

Visited this restaurant based on TA reviews. Bottom line is be careful what you order. Lamb chops were not good. My wife's lamb was cold and fatty. The pork chop was out of this world awesome. The halibut was just ok with not a lot of flavor. The service could have been better too for such a high end restaurant.

We had our second dinner at Andaluca MLK weekend. Our table of five reached an easy consensus: it was fabulous! Three of us enjoyed the venison entree, one the prime rib and another the pork entree. We were all happy, entirely satisfied and impressed. We are all foodies and good cooks on our own. Our standards are high and Andaluca surpassed our expectations. Starters were great (scallops, pear salad, and the beet salad). Three had Manhattans before dinner, another IPA, and I recommend the Cabernet by the glass. Service was impeccable! We shall return!

I asked the waiter what would blow me away on the menu, and he said try the pork chop. Pork chop? That's like bored, no money and staying home food I thought. But something said to me, go with it and boy was I glad. I have to guess that they sous vide the thick chop to perfection, then put a sear on it before bathing it in a perfect sauce because it melted in my mouth. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel, and had breakfast as part of our package. The breakfast was good, and not just a continental with the hotel booking. Several options to choose from. The atmosphere is charming, with the feel of a European hotel dining room.

I love Andeluca! The food is superb and theservice is impeccable. Highly recommended whenever you visit Seattle.

Amazing dining experience! This was our first time here and we were more than pleasantly surprised. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. We had the soup of the day (eggplant), risotto, avocado and roasted carrot salad, and brussel sprouts as a side. Everything was cooked perfectly and we have zero complaints. The ambiance was perfect as well which we appreciated. Already looking forward to our next time in Seattle so we can return!

We’ve had breakfasts and dinners at Andaluca, and they’ve been wonderful. The breakfast menu is the most interesting I’ve seen and among the most delicious I’ve tasted. Dinners were also excellent. But the caring attitude of the staff is really exceptional; when they learned that my companion had an upset stomach, they recommended bitters & club soda and prepared a glass for me to take up to the room. The (wonderful) chef, Tiffany, came out later to check. And my friend recovered sufficiently to join me for a light supper! We’re very grateful!

Excellent menu (most of it is GF too). Wonderful service and delicious, quality food! Super Cozy atmosphere. You must try their version of the liquid chocolate cake- Yum!

I was almost alone at 6:30am and ordered an All American. The eggs were perfect, the bacon fine and the fried potatoes soft. But what's with the burnt toast? Not like the chef was overwhelmed. I had a timeline, so didn't ask for a replacement.

Admittedly feeling tired by the evening I opted for the restaurant at my hotel, but I was not disappointed. The babaghanoush and hummus starter was very tasty, as was the halibut main course which had a generous helping of vegetables. The halibut was really cooked to perfection. The wine was also very good and the service was first class.

As I stayed in the Mayflower Park Hotel, I tried its restaurant one morning for breakfast. The brioche French toast was outstanding. The servers were attentive and gracious.

Always great food and service. Located in the historic Mayflower Hotel. Central location to Pike place market and downtown shopping. Walk to Amazonville

Andaluca has a wonderful spanish cuisine rarely seen in the US. The restaurant is cozy and also offers great service.

We visited Andaluca during Seattle's Restaurant Week, and rated it as the best dinner of the four we had during our visit to Seattle. Andaluca did not skimp at all on portion size, and the sizable piece of halibut we had was cooked to perfection. The chicken appetizer was very good, albeit a little overspiced; and my wife enjoyed her soup. We both had the chocolate cake for dessert, and were not disappointed. Service was prompt and efficient. Overall, a great experience, and we're looking forward to returning. Highly recommended, and for Restaurant Week, a great value.

We had breakfast here because we are staying in the hotel. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was outstanding. Really special. Highly recommend!

Our traveling companions found McDonalds. We asked our concierge for a good place for breakfast and he suggested Andaluca's. So glad he did. We had the absolutely best Italian Eggs Benedict. Oh my. It didn't have a real italian flavor so don't let that deter you. It. Was. Delicious. I could have eaten them all day long - well I really couldn't - but I wanted to. I love a good benedict but this was just a bit different and so delicious. You must try this - even it you're on a diet. It's worth whatever calories are in it.

Stopped in for dinner mostly for convenience as tired hotel guests, we found it to be convenient. Pleasant surprise! We dine out a few times a week, my husband found his beef to be arguably one of the best meals he's ever had. My fish was delicious. Shout out to our server Bruce; he made the evening for us with his relaxed, informative and caring attitude...he offered excellent suggestions to us and to those around us. You don't have to be a hotel guest to dine here...excellent experience

My husband and I discovered Andaluca in Seattle about 8 years ago, and we make a point of going there each time we’re in town. We’ve brought quite a few friends there over the years, as well. Our experience this month was just like all the other times we’ve dined there: wonderful. Even though our last visit was a year ago, we were remembered with the words, “Even though we’re booked, I’ll find you a table. We love you guys”. The Maitre’d even recalled that the last time we were there, it was with friends who had just retired, and were moving away. That is a sign of the personal service at Andaluca. Our server also provided exceptional service, taking the time to talk to us about the menu and wine options. Then there is the food. Absolutely wonderful. I look forward to my next visit!

Stopped on the way to the airport after checking out of the Mayflower. We each had a delicious salad and cauliflower soup. Wish we had realized what a great place this was so could've enjoyed a full dinner. Great service. Unfortunately forgot our waiter's name.

Andaluca is good , it is often very very busy. Make a reservation. If you like me didn't then much of the menu is available in the bar. The chocolate molten cake is outstanding

The ambiance is nice here and the service was great. We ordered the charcuterie plate which was very mediocre. Something you might expect at a pub not a high end downtown restaurant. I had the chicken dish… chicken was dry and in a pool of broth with an olive, four tiny potatoes and half a sliced tomato. Bland, and boring and a very small portion. My friend had the kale salad and said it was fine nothing to write home about. The cocktails were just okay. No garnish in my aperol spritz and it was watery. This was a pricey meal and the food was very disappointing. We won’t be back.

Eaten here for breakfast twice. Both times the service was exceptional and the food very good. Tried to eat here for dinner, but no tables were available. I suggest reservations.

Stayed at the hotel and decided to have breakfast on site. This restaurant is doing everything right. The food was outstanding, and the service was friendly and quick! Loved our visit to Andaluca.

When my mom was in Seattle before, she went here for almost half her meals because she was staying at the Mayflower and because the food was so good here. We had a salad which was phenomenal. Our mains were good but not great - my mother's chicken was somewhat tough/dry while my duck wasn't as tender as most duck dishes I've had. The chocolate cake for dessert had a good sauce with it, but the cake itself was lacking, especially because I think it was called a lava cake. Usually I think of lava cakes having a liquid/soft center which this certainly did not have. It was a small, decent chocolate cake. Service was great though!

This is a nice hotel restaurant staffed by professional wait staff. We waited for a table for less than 10 minutes. On a busy Sunday morning we were served in an appropriate length of time. The eggs Benedict and coffee were tasty and well prepared.

My hotel concierge recommended Andaluca and was happy he did . The restaurant is beautiful, the food was good and the service was outstanding. Added plus was the location, close to shopping.

The food was great! My wife and I shared the Paella, and it's to die for. Unfotunately the service was incredibly slow, and it took us way too long to order. My wife is a dangerous woman when she's hungry...

We had breakfast here several times during our stay and every meal was fantastic! The turkish waffle with apricots is outstanding. The waffle is massive and has such a unique flavor. The buttermilk oatmeal pancakes melt in your mouth and are covered in fresh fruit and a berry compote. I also tried the eggs benedict and that too was outstanding. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and we were never disappointed. Everything about this hotel is amazing!

The Paella is NOT a one person event. It's one of the specialties and I strongly recommend. We also had appetizers...the olives are very nicely marinated

Chef Tiffany is an amazing chef. Her preparation of Salmon is second to none. Lightning strikes twice with her preparation of petite rib roast. I have come to the realization there is nothing chef Tiffany or chef Doug cant create. Michael, both server and bartender makes a sensational martini with freshly zested lemon and kind smile. The restaurant operates like an extension of home. Kamyar really knows how to make you feel welcome. Truly an experience I will remember with people I wont soon forget. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

Perhaps they were just a bit "off-game" right after the Holiday and New Years rush. Went Jan 2nd for my birthday, before theater. Nice atmosphere; fairly pricey. The paella was pretty overdone, with blackish/burnt spots and very tough/chewy shrimp. Started with bread service and then roasted butternut squash salad, which was sooo rich/gloppy/overdressed/soggy -- glad we split it; I very much like goat cheese, but calling this dish a "salad" is a bit of a stretch. Anyway, good server [she definitely perked up after we mentioned having been to Spain a few times], solid wine list for sure, and was given a complimentary dessert -- a very nice touch.

Good Service, good food. Typical hotel restaurant, does not go above and beyond. Above average.Nice crowd gathering for a small place.

Beautiful location in a building full of character.Food was beautifully presented but taste was lacking. I had the pear salad which was perfect. I also had the halibut which was overcooked. The fish was dry yet the beets and celery were undercooked and crunchy. The liquid chocolate cake was just ok. The gelato was good but the cake was cold. Overall disappointing.

Dined here oct. 3 2017. The meal was so disappointing. Our waiter had the personality of a tic. I had the chicken dish and my husband had the beef. Will not dine here again

I wish I had look at others' suggestions for what to order at Andaluca. Although we weren't there to be able to try dinner, our travels put is in the Mayflower Park Hotel Mother's Day morning and we opted to try breakfast/brunch. The staff was wonderful, attentive, helpful, prompt, generous with coffee refills, and even managed to seat us as we arrived earlier in morning hours, even though our late arrival the night before meant we hadn't made the required reservation. But perhaps it was what we ordered, or the challenges of an upcoming busy day, but both my husband and I found our meals disappointing. I had the spring omelet which was a plain omelet laid on top of some mixed "spring vegetables" (I had expected some incorporation of the ingredients with the eggs), which sounded great, but in reality the filling consisted of an abundance of inedible nettle stalks, spring pea tendrils that were chokingly tough, and too much rhubarb that unpleasantly overwhelmed all other flavors. The side potatoes were sweaty and soggy, a little crispiness would have been so nice. My husband's "hash" was a similar mix of vegetables, but the poached eggs on top, once broken, disappeared into the lake of water at the bottom of the bowl. The portions were generous and we had enough to satisfy us and I would in fairness definitely try the restaurant again. But I would check to see what others are recommending on the menu that week.

Was here for dinner. Place was crowded but still had personal space to oneself at a small corner. Service was attentive and warm. I ordered the duck breast with red sauce - it was well cooked with crusty skin and sauce permeating through the meat. Melbec Wine was so so for the price I would be back again for the other dishes

Excellent breakfast, fast service, outstanding wait staff. My Toast of France was exceptional. I was give a mug of coffee, after I mentioned that the coffee cup was a bit small.

The food was good - although not up to the expectations of the waiter who promised 'the best pork chop you will ever eat' - well it was good, but not the best ever... Service was slow but we were OK with that for the food, but drinks should have been faster as should have been removal of plates after finishing. So - with a little work, it should be 5 stars with a little more attention and organization.

This restaurant is in the Mayflower hotel which I love and visit Seattle twice a year. I highly recommend Andaluca for breakfast. It's an excellent restaurant with great service, amazing coffee and great food. However, it's expensive! I've had one or two dinners there and would rather leave the hotel and try other places. The quality of food is fabulous I definitely find it over priced.

We were staying at the hotel so it was convenient but even so it was our favorite dinner and breakfast of our week in Seattle. I had the halibut for dinner and lox for breakfast. Service was excellent. While breakfast was slightly more expensive than other places in the area, it was worth it to avoid the bums and homeless. Seattle has a huge number of homeless. It is disturbing and we're from Chicago.

During our stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel we ate both breakfast and dinner at the Andaluca Restaurant and the food was wonderful. The service in particular during our evening meal was top notch. I would recommend eating at the Andaluca Restaurant if you stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel or if you are staying nearby in Seattle.

Had room service at the Mayflower. The food was hot and service as prompt. The roasted chicken was good.

I had not dined at Andaluca for several years and when a friend ask for a suggestion of a downtown restaurant with nice ambience, good food and service. I suggested Andalusia. We had a party of 8, they accommodated us comfortably. The waiter was great! The cocktails interesting and good. Some of us ask to split plates and the request was granted. The disappointment was the food came barely warm. Most entrees are around $39.00. I don’t mind spending $$$ for a special occasion but would like to feel the food was made fresh.

We stayed at the Mayflower and went here for breakfast. Fast, friendly service. We split the open lox on rye. The bread was excellent sourdough and the lox was perfect. Good bet.

For years, I had passed by this place and assumed it was just another uninspired hotel restaurant. However, my recent breakfast experience here proved me delightfully wrong. I was craving pancakes, and upon trying their pear, ginger, and cardamom pancakes, I was blown away by how delicious and unique they were. The flavors were distinctive and far from ordinary.

Take your taste buds to the Mediterranean and south Asia from a comfortable seat in Seattle at Andaluca. A perfect dining experience for memorable flavors, unique dishes, traditional dishes with a twist, friendly service, and reasonable prices. My brunch started with a Sangria divine, full of traditional fruitiness balanced perfectly with Asian spices such as Cardamom. The eggs benedict had an Italian twist of tomato acidity that was made for Hollandaise. No matter the meal, the diversity of dishes and drinks is amazing. I can’t wait to go back for dinner!!!!

We enjoyed our paella which was plenty for two people to share along with two salads. The paella was flavorful, the beet salad well presented and the pear salad had three 1 mm slices of pear. Though we tried to engage the server, we felt very much put off. In fact, several times during our meal he approached our table then turned away. Perhaps it was because we chose to share an entree. I also would discourage servers from bringing the check as they put the dessert on the table. We weren't in a hurry but felt very rushed. The city is so friendly and this is the most disengaged that we've been felt since our visit began. Better service would have earned a five star review.

We had breakfast here this morning and are planning on going there for dinner, too, before we leave Seattle. It’s a warm atmosphere with great service. The menu had both traditional breakfast options as well as items with a Mediterranean twist. Give them a try!

My wife and I booked a table her for our anniversary. She's a vegetarian and saw that Andaluca had a couple of things for her on their menu. Service was prompt and professional starting with the complimentary valet parking out front. Our drinks were perfect and they even comped us 2 glasses of champagne due to the occasion. Our dinners where both excellent and interesting.

We were happy to have a breakfast place at our hotel (Mayflower Park) and this place delivered. Eggs Benedict was great, and the Turkish apricot waffle was different yet delicious. We didn’t eat here for dinner, but I’m sure it’s excellent as well

The first time we visited Andaluca for breakfast, we had the Eggs Benedict. These are the best I've ever had. Their Italian twist on the classic breakfast is a win. They also infuse their vodka in-house for a killer Bloody Mary. I've tried other breakfast items that are all great, but I always return to the Eggs Benedict. The service is top-notch!

this is an excellent restaurant in seattle. very nice service, excellent and beatiful dishes. medium-high price Your Vetusto

This place was great with very attentive service and excellent food. This is a very intimate little place with a very good atmosphere. Would highly reccomend.

We visited Andaluca for breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. The Ohana waffle tasted like we were in Hawaii with pineapples, macadamia nuts and of course Coconut. Added a side of roasted potatoes and the meal filled both my husband and myself. Yes it’s expensive, but you expect to pay more in downtown Seattle and it was worth it!

went on a Saturday morning for breatkfast and it was all very good. Service was friendly and fast. No real issues. Nothing special but was a good meal.

My wife and I stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seatle. We ate breakfast and dinner at the Andaluca Restaurant and the food and service was excellent! We highly recommend the restaurant as a great place to eat!

Andaluca is a great restaurant to visit either for morning breakfast or dinner. The food is fresh, innovative, and is served hot. Service is attentive and the room itself is quite inviting. I have eaten here a number of times, and have not be disappointed as it is consistently very good.

Was visiting Seattle and we found this gem. Great service, great drinks and our kids enjoyed as well. We were going to eat at the Space Needle but decided to go here instead. Great decision!

Quiet, soothing atmosphere for early breakfast in Seattle's downtown. Very delicious fresh eggs and berries for me with a delicious hot brew. Wait staff is attentive and professional. Adaluca menu also available for room service at the Mayflower Park Hotel.

Ever since I moved to Seattle, I've always wanted to go inside this luxurious-looking restaurant, tucked to the left of the historic Mayflower Park Hotel. I used to live in an apartment on Fourth Ave., walking by the place to and from work, curious as hell, imagining myself as this worldly traveler popping in with a friend for a respite, perhaps a discussion about Kierkegaard over a latte and croissant. Last year, my husband and I finally tried Andaluca for dinner, and we were not disappointed. We were mesmerized by the cosmopolitan menu and the European getaway vibe. The Shish Taouk appetizer was to-die for, as was my Paella — perfectly constructed and in the right proportion. Who offers such exotic classic delicacies anymore? Breakfast is equally delightful. We've been there twice, most recently this weekend. The first time there, I tried Shakshuka, a Mediterranean dish I'd only seen on TV travel shows. It's a kind of soft-boiled egg swimming in a hearty, spicy tomato/bell pepper stew, over crispy polenta cakes. Definitely a treat. The second time, I went with Italian Eggs Benedict, featuring cage-free, poached eggs perfectly cooked (not too runny, not hard-boiled), over what tasted like thin sheaths of crisp bacon (prosciutto), bits of fresh tomato, and tomato Hollandaise sauce. Served with herbed regular and sweet potatoes. Very rich, almost too rich if you're not starving. At the time, Andaluca's special included a Sirloin Hash with poached eggs and thin asparagus spears. Again, very decadent. Come with an appetite. The service is five-star, one on one, the kind celebrities are afforded. The restaurant is quite small, intimate, yet cozy and luxurious, not ostentatious. The ambiance is quiet, too, and somewhat regal. When we last visited, we told the server we were celebrating my husband's birthday two days before. The server gave us a dry rub for steaks, chicken, and fish as a birthday gift. She added that she would've given us more if she'd known earlier in service. What service! I'm dying to go back for dinner for MY birthday to try the grilled chicken with preserved lemon, castelvetrano olives, roasted baby carrots, chicken jus, and mashed potatoes. Photos do not do this justice. The next time you happen upon this place, do yourself a favor and go inside. They offer free, two-hour parking.

We had all our breakfasts and one dinner at Andaluca during a 3 night stay in Seattle. The staff were so wonderful, and made the meal even more enjoyable. Their breakfasts were truly excellent! The dinner we ate there was top notch. The restaurant is lovely visually, and quite romantic! A must go to when in Seattle.

Great food and great service. We had a very nice brunch after walking through Pike’s Place Market. I would highly recommend for Brunch!

Handily located opposite Macys on Olive St, the food at Andaluca was excellent- beautifully cooked and presented, an interesting menu choice, with great wines to accompany dinner ( and I suppose breakfast if you wanted. The waiters were very knowledgeable and helpful. I really enjoyed both the dinners and the breakfasts I ate there and will make a point of eating both breakfast and dinner there the next time I visit Seatte.

Andaluca is nothing to write home about, but provides a good atmosphere, good food, good service, at a very reasonable price. There were some good vegetarian and vegan options alongside the meat offerings. The tomato and fennel soup was pretty good, as was the crab tower.

We shared an order of paella, a dish which can disappoint. No disappointment here! This was our favorite meal in all of four weeks of travel in Washington and Oregon. It was so totally delicious we were just blown away.

Had their buttermilk, oatmeal pancakes with caramel butter as part of my room rate at the Mayflower Park Hotel. Absolutely yummy. Will be back for those alone.

We were visiting Seattle and it was greatly appreciated that they were able to accommodate us for Thanksgiving dinner on a short notice. The menu consisted of either a butternut soup or pear salad, turkey, and pannacotta for dessert. It was $48 but the food was just OK. The place was cozy and warm. Service was a little bit slow. Not sure if I will come back.

We stayed at the Mayflower Park hotel for a couple of day and had breakfast here. The coffee was great, the service was great and the food was too!

I've been here a couple of times, and each meal was exquisite. The Spanish-infused food includes an amazing vegetarian risotto and pan seared duck breast (both of which were fantastic), a great wine list, and an overall gorgeous atmosphere. Out waiter was friendly and prompt, and helped us decide what to order.

We like to try new (new to us) restaurants during Seattle's Restaurant Week. We chose Andaluca because we haven't been there and it was well rated on TripAdvisor. The portions were reasonable, but I'm relieved we went during restaurant week. Three course meal for $33 a person was more appropriate for the meal than the usual cost listed on the menu. The lamb was perfectly cooked, and we enjoyed the dessert. It's not on our list of must return, but worth checking out at least once.

Angelica was a wonderful breakfast restaurant. We had a wonderful experience. Food was great. We were very happy to chance up on this very very nice establishment at the hotel downtown Seattle.

I have never had a bad meal at Andaluca! My favorite is the pear salad, crab tower....well I could go on The flavors are melded so well, that foods I wouldn’t normally touch are fantastic. The service is friendly and attentive and the room is intimate. This is easily a restaurant I plan to come back too!

Lovely restaurant in our hotel. Excellent food (do order the salmon on rye!). The staff is so kind and professional. Beautiful atmosphere.

A little pricy for dinner, but the food is plentiful and delicious. So are the deserts! We had lots of leftovers and they graciously prepared a nice "to go" bag for us to take back to our hotel room!

It was a rainy evening for us to look for a dinner place walking downtown Seattle. It looked like a quality yet casual and friendly place. We go this confirmed as soon as we entered the place. We were a bit loud of a crowd. The waiters pulled the table together in no time. We did enjoy artisan beer and picked dinner plates. They were all great. Anything from paella to meat main courses were superb. It was a cheerful moment of a rainy evening.

Located in the classic Mayflower Hotel Andaluca has old world charm with dark wood and soft light and best of all is quiet! The service is smooth and relaxed with none of that "Hi, I'm Joey and I'll be taking care of you tonight" stuff. But the real reason to eat here is the food. Our waiter told us the top two entrees are the Paella and the Pork Chop. I'm a pork chop nut, have tried them all over town and would rate this one the best. It has a cherry sauce that is to kill for and comes with veggies and polenta. Unless you are a big eater no starter course is needed. Other offerings were black cod, rib roast, duck, chicken & risotto, all with a Mediterranean twist. Can't wait to go back!

Andaluca Restaurant is NOT your typical hotel eating place. It is the perfect place to enjoy delicious, freshly prepared food in a elegant atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming and provide excellent service. If you are looking for a breakfast experience that is out of the ordinary then this is the place for you!

Breakfast was just great . Good service great tasting , pretty presentation . The location is very interesting, decor is noticeable .

We ate breakfast here a couple of times. It was good, but very pricey. There wasn't much around for breakfast, but fast food and subway for breakfast.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Andaluca Restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting, the food was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It's clear they take pride in their offerings, and it shows in every bite. Highly recommended for a satisfying breakfast experience.

When I am in Seattle, I enjoy eating Spanish / Mediterranean food. Crazy, I know. There is something about the cold grey days and nights there that demands a change to Sun, spice and places far away. Overall, Andaluca is a great choice if this is what you are looking for and it is right next to the Mayflower Hotel. Not going to tell you about the food, service or atmosphere. You have to go there to enjoy it yourself.

I am a planner and we were going to be in Seattle on Thanksgiving. I made our reservation 3 weeks ahead. Many of the nicer restaurants that were open had set menus and I need a gluten free meal. I called and was assured that their usual menu would be available. We waited for our table at the bar. This was perfectly understandable. I ordered the Paella as it was a house specialty. I was disappointed. My partner had the duck, and he was very happy. Perhaps the seafood in my Paella was overcooked because it was a busy night. Though we visit Seattle often, this was our first time at Andaluca. It was clear, watching the interactions of staff and customers, that many of the diners were regulars and had a special connection with the staff. This speaks highly enough of the Andaluca that I will give them another chance, maybe even this next month when we visit Seattle again

We were referred by our concierge to Andaluca for breakfast. We battled our way there from the Westin amid the hoards of homeless. The restaurant promised signature hot chocolate but when I mentioned this the waiter said, "Well its a powdered mix and I don't have any whipped cream." I selected it anyway...It was dreadful. Luke warm nestles mix and of course no cream. My sister asked a female waitress a question as the lady walked by and I have never been treated so rudely...not even at a fast food restaurant but certainly at an expensive ($$$$$$) restaurant like this. The waitress snapped at her.."I'll get to you when I can," And never came back. Said it really mean and at the top of her voice. When I saw my sisters face so hurt I was livid. We walked out or this restaurant and this is THE VERY FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER WALKED OUT OF A RESTAURANT.

I'm not usually a fan of Mediterranean food, but this was highly requested by my clients. The food was excellent, though the price point is certainly high. I appreciated the efficient service and the relatively quiet atmosphere. I'd recommend it for important business meetings.

Nice decor and sounding menu. Friendly staff. The food was ok however did not blow us away for the price. Good bar next door at the adjoining hotel.

This restaurant has been in operation since 1996 and I've eaten here many times over the years. It's always consistent, charming, good service, nice ambiance and space. Not a huge menu, but interesting and diverse enough to suit most appetites. For any restaurant to last more than a few years is common. But after 22 years, you know they are doing something right or they wouldn't still be open. Worth a reservation if you're planning on dining downtown.

We were so tired after a long day of sightseeing so the friendly, knowledgeable staff took wonderful care of us. The risotto was amazing!

Lovely and cozy hotel restaurant that offers an upscale version of Middle Eaastern cuisine...not just hummus, but regional spices and flavorings. The harissa Brussel sprouts are outstanding. Good steak and seafood; great drinks, andf a small assortment of half-bottles.

1st day of vacation, Ted concierge at Westin Downtown Seattle suggested. was greeted quickly and the setting reminded me of the Palm restaurant, rustic, dark wood walls, table along with booths, old school nostalgia and warmth. I had the American breakfast which included eggs (soft scrambled) crispy bacon which was delicious, lightly fried potato's garnish with oranges. wife had the Andaluca Lox and she stated it was delightful. Phil was our waiter he was pleasant, engaging, funny, and excellent service. recommend highly and ask for Phil.

My wife and I were staying at the hotel, visiting from AZ. We heard about the restaurant before ever coming to town and their excellent paella so we decided to make reservations our first night into town. We settled in with an excellent red sangria and manhattan and had the full cheese plate with olives. Excellent starter to what was to be a fabulous meal. I had the paella, rich with saffron, chicken, sausage and all those tasty crisped bits on the side of the skillet. My wife had the petit beef with potatoes and cooked root vegetables. These are both hefty portions. Take your time and enjoy the warmth of the meal and atmosphere. Save room for gelato with fresh berries or a warm slice of pie with ice cream. The wait staff is attentive but unobtrusive. Worth every penny.

The restaurant was not open for dinner on the weekdays during our visit. It was open early for a good full breakfast. I'd put its pricing at $$$ out of 4.

What a delightful surprise breakfast recently on a Seattle holiday lights and jazz overnight at Andaluca in the Mayflower Hotel! Starting right off with servers Tony and Kathleen super attentive with very good coffee and order accommodations. Breakfast places can be a bit disappointing when one avoids sugar and eggs but we both were very pleased to have several options and the Mediterranean omelette was perfect as it was the inside of the omelette I was after! The waffle with just a touch of the compote was a treat without overdoing the sugar for my wife and that our lovely servers had the same names as my wife's parents helped celebrate the holidays just that much more!

We had an enjoyable meal. It’s an accessible downtown location, nicely furnished, good service. The food was good, but it’s not among the top Seattle restaurants. A bit pricey.

Hard to do a meal justice when the essence is: fresh salmon and halibut, very well-conceived in terms of accompaniment and presentation, and perfectly prepared. The challenge for any chef with fish is how to accent it a bit perhaps, but not too much, and let the freshness of the product shine, while supporting it. We both had that experience with our respective meals. Don't skip dessert.

We always look forward to enjoying breakfast at Andaluca. The food is always tasty with the best ingredients.

the paella was great, the suggested wine was perfect and the service was spot on, we will definately return the next time we come to seattle

Breakfast was very expensive and they didn't get either of our orders right. I only gave them three stars because the waitress was so nice. My advice is to skip it and go to a nearby bakery!

We stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel which is connected to this restaurant and decided to try it. It was lovely. Our server was excellent, the food delicious and the ambiance great. It is not inexpensive, but quality is never. We ordered bread ($3), but it comes with hummus and some other eggplant spread that was delicious. We also had the paella and the chicken. Both were big portions and both very good. My husband had the special desert of the day which was something to do with rhubarb, but it was not great. The soup, some strange thing that we had never heard of, we tried, but did not care for it either. I would stick with the regular offerings on the menu and you won't be disappointed.

Tonight my wife and I enjoyed the most unforgettable dinning experience at the Andaluca Restaurant. The restaurant's ambience was warm and inviting. The food was delicious. We had a white wine with the Risotto and the Fish Special, Pork Belly and Buratta appetizers, and molten chocolate desert. Chef Tiffany Layco created an outstanding evening of food and was kind enough to visit our table and spend considerable time talking with us about food and traveling. The service was impeccable and we felt welcomed and cared for like family. If you live in or are visiting Seattle we highly recommend you dine at the Andaluca Restaurant!

We only had breakfast while we stayed at the Mayflower Hotel but it was very good! The staff was very attentive and pleasant atmosphere!

Paella is super with shrimp, mussels, clams, and sausage (made me want to travel to Spain). Breakfasts where the best I've had anywhere.

WE were lucky that this restaurant was in our hotel. We had breakfast there every day it was open and enjoyed every bite. The waiters were great and the food even better. Breakfast is a joy here with inventive takes on old favorites. We regret it isn't open for dinner and is closed two mornings as well, a common event in Seattle where the vast majority of restaurants arejust closed altogether

This restaurant was next to our hotel so we landed here for breakfast our first morning in Seattle. We were wowed by the food and the service was wonderful. During our visit we tried breakfast at other locations and nothing seemed to compare. Also, went for dinner. The Paella is wonderful!

This restaurant is in the Mayflower hotel. and it is a delightful place. The menu was varied. I had the Turkish waffles with pistachios and apricots that were heated and delicious. Lovely start to our day.

The Andaluca has been serving outstanding Mediterranean cuisine for around 25 years, and they have not grown stale at all. We have eaten here frequently over the years, and are quite fond of it - but it is not a large restaurant so do make reservations!. A standard item on the menu are paellas, both with meat or vegetarian. Then seasonal dishes appear, like a hearty tagine in the winter, and then excellent salads and light mains in the warmer months. Notes: Breakfast is available daily but no lunch service, exceptionally comfortable booths, an excellent bartender, house made desserts, super clean restrooms, and a restful quiet environment for dining in gorgeous surroundings. The staff is well trained, and all of whom can provide knowledgeable answers to your questions. Highly recommended.

I had a delicious breakfast. The apricot waffle was delicious!. Service is also excellent. Currently they are only open Friday and Saturdays.

We had the breakfast package but the breakfast was very good. Even though it was the package menu there were a lot of great food choices to choose from. Highly recommend it.

This restaurant was fabulous in every way! Warm, cozy, beautiful. Delicious food, excellent service, We will return!!!

Good place for breakfast - variety of options, nice staff. Nothing Spanish about the place - at least not during breakfast. Nice decor.

We enjoyed dining at this restaurant regularly while we stayed at this hotel. Not only was the food superb but the staff were fantastic. Helping with food allergy requirements and taking great care to ensure every aspect of our dining experience was absolutely perfect. We can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!

The menu is more interesting than the food, which is lacking in taste, flavor innovation and presentation. Amongst main course Paella is the only dish worth mentioning. Amongst the appetizers, Kwarma was served with a blah hummus and the lamb had a smell, Shish taouk was notably bland. The scallops were well cooked and delicious but it is two small scallops with a pityingly small salad.

We were in Seattle for my son's birthday. While waiting for our room to be ready in the hotel we went to eat breakfast. The servers Kathleen and Tony are fantastic, they helped us with the menu and got to know us as people. Kathleen and Tony asked us what we were in town for and we let them know it was my son's birthday the next day. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was phenomenal. The hollandaise sauce is the best ever. The next day we came for breakfast again and Kathleen and Tony had remembered my son's birthday and got him the fantastic stuffed french toast and put a candle in it for him, he loved it. I was so impressed that they even remembered this. It was the best experience we have had in a restaurant. By the way everything we tried was TOP NOTCH from the taste to the temperature and service. We recommend the Eggs Benedict, Stuffed French Toast, and Waffle for sure.

Ate two breakfasts here. A standard American breakfast with eggs, meat, potatoes, and toast was $20. Comparable dishes of better quality were available for $10 within a couple of blocks. Less expensive options were $17. A bowl of oatmeal was $13. The fried eggs we ate were very well-executed; perfectly cooked as ordered. The scrambled eggs were completely unseasoned, even when presented as a complete dish such as their "scrambles". These "scrambles" come with a thick slice of cheese melted on top, rather than incorporated into the dish. Toast comes without butter, although a pot of jam is available on the table. The pan-roasted potatoes were very good - completely cooked with crisp edges as though they had been appropriately prepped to order in a frying pan. The ham was ordinary but tasty. The house-made sausage that came with the American breakfast seemed to be leftovers heated and dried out to get them warm. The flavor was extremely mild - almost flavorless being so dry. The coffee. It was fairly weak, even before we got the pot that the waiter took back and replaced because it was so weak. It was also bitter enough that I (who always take coffee black) had to add sugar. It was, however, piping hot. They do have a full bar, including breakfast drinks. We didn't try them, so can't speak to that. The restaurant is arranged with lots of short steps up and down as well as tight aisles and labyrinthine table arrangements. It's probably not a good choice for anyone with mobility problems. The service is of the "yes, we will even serve people like you!" variety. Lots of explanations of things that everyone knows (like giving me an explanation that my eggs ordered over-easy would come with runny yolks) without allowing themselves to be troubled to stop by your table too often or be extra-accommodating. I might have thought it was a personal or regional prejudice, but other tables with regional folks had similar service. Perhaps that works better at supper time, but it didn't work well with the breakfast crowd, many of whom are staying at the hotel. Hotel restaurants should be inviting to hotel guests, especially at breakfast. They apparently require reservations at supper, but not at breakfast. They have a policy forbidding the use of electronic devices in the restaurant, even at breakfast, so bring a paper or magazine. We didn't leave terribly hungry, but we didn't enjoy anything about either meal there.

I was staying in the Mayflower Hotel and had breakfast and dinner in this restaurant. The pancakes and cooked breakfast were delicious. Dinner was something else I had the petite roast which was so tasty just delicious the liquid chocolate desert is definitely worth a try it was all mouthwayering . I would highly recommend a visit. Thanks team

We were in town for a conference November 8-10. Whenever we travel, we like to try new local restaurants. We started with the potato croquettes, 3 cheese platter and mini crab tower. Everything was amazing! Our entrees were delicious, blackened cod and paella. Service was great.

Service was attentive, prompt, helpful, enthusiastic. We asked specially to take 60 minutes for dinner and waitstaff hit that perfectly, and without "rushing" -- key was bringing special beet soup *promptly* (even if low light made it difficult to see it was "golden" beets rather than darker ones). Clear hit of the evening was duck breast, with elderberry syrup and curry squash base: crispy skin with succulent meat inside. Kudos! Vegetarian entree option was fine, just nothing special. During the cold winter, we were told, the restaurant's door to street was closed; so the entrance is through nearby hotel, with stairs up into hotel lobby then down into the adjoining restaurant. (Cannot see an easy for a mobility impaired person to get in.) One change to make this a perfect couple's dining spot = please turn up lighting. We had significant difficulty reading the menu, and the wine bottle's small print was impossible. The entree's presentation looked to be pretty special, but it was not easy to appreciate.

My boyfriend and I came to Andaluca to celebrate our 3-year anniversary in October. Our server was incredible, he made the entire meal so special. He offered us sparkling wine and an incredible dessert to celebrate our day, and was really attentive but not overpowering from start to finish. I'm vegetarian and had possibly the best risotto I've ever had, and my boyfriend had the halibut and said it was delicious. The restaurant has a cozy, romantic atmosphere, lovely staff, and delicious food. I can't recommend Andaluca enough!

We came here for dinner after cocktails in the lounge. The food was delicious, service attentive and setting cozy on a rainy day. We especially liked the wine pairings with the food. Definitely will be back when visiting Seattle!

I was in Seattle on business and a co-worker and I stopped here for breakfast one morning. We both had the seasonal hash and it was outstanding! Such a cool place, loved the atmosphere. It has a special feel to it.

I really wanted to be able to rate this restaurant higher- but just couldn’t do it. The service was excellent and my husband had the blackened cod which was phenomenal!! However, I ordered the paella- which was not that good unfortunately. If staying at the Mayflower Park it would totally be worth a visit!

Took my 12 year old daughter out for a nice meal while staying at the hotel. Great experience! Food was delicious, drink was beautiful and tasted great, place is adorable and our server was super sweet. We will be returning.

So far above the norm and usual offerings. The taste is fresh, the dishes imaginative, atmosphere perfect. Do have reservations

Homemade chicken sage sausage is awesome but the real hit is the eggs benedict--I always get that each time we stay. An absolute must.

A beautiful location in the Mayflower Park Hotel. Mahagony walls, and muted lighting. Clean, comfortable, with an efficient and polite wait staff. We ordered breakfast. Eggs, over-easy, bacon and a bagel. Over-easy is not “easy “in many restaurants, but the chef did a nice job here. Quality food. Prices are moderate and the eatery befits the class of this hotel. Very nice place.
Great Service and Food in an Era Where these are Endangered
It's been awhile since we've had "top notch" service at a restaurant...not "fine service" or "acceptable service" but really top notch. Andaluca provided a reminder of the times when restaurant staff went out of their way to attend to you. My wife and I came to Seattle for a wedding, and I found Andaluca online. I wanted to find another restaurant because the prices seemed a bit steep, but we ended up going anyway. The prices are perhaps a couple dollars more per entree than you might find at a typical "breakfast joint". This is not a typical "breakfast joint." The food is creatively curated and delicious. I had the lox on rye--a re-interpretation of traditional "bagel and lox with cream cheese and red onion and tomato. The platter consisted of grilled macarena rye, served with a generous portion of ricotta (instead of traditional cream cheese), salmon that was barely smoked and understated in sharpness, slivered scallion and cherry tomatoes and herbs--although the menu did say "capers" there weren't any in my dish--and although I like them, it wasn't a loss for the dish. With the fennel and dill, the entire plate was practically a reconstruction of the traditional dish. And, it was really delicious. My wife had a buttermilk-oatmeal pancakes with a side of Impossible vegan sausage. The pancakes were served with a pear-cardamom preserve, pear-ginger butter, and pecan crumble, as well as maple syrup. My wife loves maple syrup and forwent it, the dish was so sweet on its own--but again, deliciously so. The ambiance is wonderful, and if our water server didn't always remember to come back to top off coffee or switch to def, our server did unfailingly. You may pay more than you are used to, but if you appreciate dining experience of service and atmosphere, and outstanding food, this restaurant is certainly worth it. High marks to the chef! What a find.
