Staff very attentive but we didn’t like our starters and main courses arriving at the same time, is this normal? In addition the carne pizza I ordered was below the standard I expected, in fact I left half of it, maybe because it was cold as I had to eat my soup starter first. I would not recommend this restaurant

Had been to this place a couple times. The bar is decent and the bartenders are helpful. The pizza was good but the pasta left a lot to be desired. Not what I would expect of an "italian" kitchen.

We were staying at the hotel the night before our run and decided to give this restaurant downstairs a try. From the 3 reviews we were going in with low expectations. Our experience was great from start to finish. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the lasagna and the carne pizza and both were fantastic. We took our tiramisu and cannolis to go and we both agreed that the cannolis won. The server handed us our bill and told us that there was already 20% added to the bill as a gratuity.

Fantastic service and nice European size portions, which I was pleased about. The food was good and they went out of their way to customise my food to cater for my food intolerance

We stayed at Hyatt Regency so visited Andare almost every day as they have a very good Happy Hour. The drink prices were excellent, $4 draft and $6 wine. The food was also good. Simple dishes but oh so tasty. The lasagne, meatballs and pizza in particular were very good. Service for the most part was good but because it was so busy some evenings, became spotty at times. Would definitley recommend a visit here.

We checked out Happy Hour (we LOVE all the HH options in Seattle) as we were staying at the new Hyatt Regency that houses this place. Bar is cool, but few higher table tops for 4 - mostly 2 - so the four of us had to sit next to each other facing the entrance. The HH menu is on the Hyatt Regency website and includes food and drink specials. A few cocktails were $7 + $8, wine and beer were less (hard to beat a $4 draft or $6 Sparkling wine). We just snacked on Marinated Olives ($3) and Marcona Almonds ($4). It was annoying to get served as the bartender said where we were sitting was assigned a serve. We waited and waited and I kept looking back at the bartender. He came over and said he would get her, then came back and said he would take the order after all. Remarkably inefficient and annoying. Worst move: 20% automatic service charge. I wouldn't complain if we had good service, but we did not. It's a minor point because I am a good tipper (20% or more for great service) but what is the incentive to give great service here? Bad move Hyatt. Customer beware.

The food was so tasteless I wanted to get back to my hotel room ( at a different hotel ) and take a covid test. I am in town for a conference and I had eaten Asian food the past two nights so I thought I would try Italian to change it up. No!!! I ordered a Ceasar Salad, Calamari and Linguine with sundried tomatoes, garlic, lemon and cheese. The Ceasar was fine I liked that the croutons were more a crumble. I don't love big chunks of toast in my salad. But there was no tang... the aoli that came with the calamari had as much umph as the dressing in the salad. The calamari were anemic... thin like tracing paper... I kept thinking I bet these are the pig's anus rumored to be switched out before the pandemic. There was no chew, no texture... just fried nothing. And when the pasta came out I just was floored. Zero taste, ZERO. I thought should I ask for ground pepper? cheese? what??? I mean there was no flavor at all... I don't feel sick, but if I tested positive for covid I would not be surprised. Never have I eaten a meal that tasted like nothing. The Waiter was a doll, took the calamari and pasta off the bill. And I tipped him double what he charged me... It wasn't his fault. Look I know hotels are typically know for having great restaurants... this looked nice, who can screw up some pasta? Andare sure can. So sad!!!

Service is slow...good beverage list, however how do you run out of Bud Light??? 1 of the other tables asked for a wine and they were out of it...food was decent but I'm not sure it was worth it. Be prepared for 20% automatic gratuity...

The pizza was delicious, and the drinks were decent, but some of the bartenders were very slow and unfriendly, despite it being a slow night. They automatically add 20% to all checks and don't always tell you - watch out before you double tip!

Wouldn’t come back. Best part was the server. Nice person and they had to laugh when I pointed out that the Canvas Cab sells for $8.99/ bottle retail yet they charge $51 for the bottle. Food was average and prices were middle of the road. Standard big hotel fare. Okay if you’re in a hurry and not looking for an experience meal.

Really great food. We went here for dinner and kids had the kids pizza and it was like a regular size pizza for under $10 ea. I had the beef filet- amazing. And my husband had the chicken, so yummy flavor. We really enjoyed the dinner and service was great. Highly recommend. Small menu but worth it

Great service, classy decor, nice ambience. Good for continental breakfast. Pricey for the full buffet breakfast. However, do not eat dinner here. Highly overpriced for dinner. I had about 14 gnocchis for my dinner, which came to $1 a gnocchi. We felt like (6 people) we had just had an appetizer, so after dinner we made our way to the Market upstairs to get some delicious flatbread, which will put you out $15.

We enjoy staying at Hyatt hotels and this restaurant is at the Seattle Hyatt Regency. It’s in a great location. The atmosphere is very nice. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the calamari for an appetizer. So so good! My husband and I split the roasted chicken dish. It was pretty good. Would definitely come back to eat here again!

We had a lovely breakfast at Andare Kitchen and Bar. Despite the restaurant being incredibly busy, Mini, the hostess, was wonderfully efficient in getting us seated right away. Asreil, the bartender, kept us fueled with all the caffeine we needed to stay on high alert for the rest of the day. Excellent service all around!

I'm usually a bit skeptical about restaurants in hotels (including the Hyatt Regency) but this was a happy surprise with nice options, well prepared and with very attentive service. We came back another night!

after a long business day, stopped here and was delighted by the charcuterie and cucumber jalapeño margaritas. And great wait staff.

Beautiful yummy food. Had the lunch pick 2 for $21. It was amazing. We went to the restaurant once and the bar about 5 times and every time service was very very slow so do not go here if you are on any kind of a time limit.

Really frustrating service. Waitstaff would make random appearances every 30 min or so. Be ready to wave those arms! Food was good though.

After a long day of exploring Seattle, we enjoyed picking up a nice meal from here. It is located inside of the Hyatt Regency. Had we not been exhausted, we would have eaten in, but instead got take out. They included everything we needed to enjoy the meal in our room with PJ's on after showering. We will definitely go back!

This review is just for the breakfast. Nice continental breakfast buffet with fresh assortments of breads, good oatmeal, hard boiled eggs and delicious coffee.

The Meatball Sub is not to be missed (I even ordered one to take home) Yes, they're that good. The in house made marinara and the fresh mozzarella on a homemade bun then add the best meatballs ever and you'll seek them out for lunch and dinner. and You're welcome in advance *smiles*

This is one of those restaurants that exceeded my expectations. Very simple but Bery nice decoration. The service was excellent. The servers were very friendly and professional. The pasta was amazing , homemade. The marinara sauce was very flavorful. The meatballs , fabulous. Had a great time. Definitely a place to visit when in downtown.

The food was average -- nothing spectacular. But the service was awful. We sat for quite awhile without our server coming. Finally, another waitress saw that we didn't even have drinks. She couldn't find our waitress, so she took our order. Our waitress didn't check on us the entire time. I had to stop her when we wanted the check. Probably would have been fine with another server, but it was really disappointing.

Went here for business lunch. You order food at the waitress stand, and prepay for food and tip before being seated or food delivered. Not my style.

At base of new Hyatt Regency. Sit at the bar, order a drink from Vinny and relax, food is Italian comfort, cant go wrong.

We ate 6 times during our stay there.Breakfast buffet was very nice, the omelet were perfect, the waffles a bit small- my son would have enjoyed a full waffle instead of a half. Very nice you get a soda without an up charge! Servers are very kind, polite and attentive. Dinner wasn’t as good as expected. Don’t eat the noodles if you expect Italien quality, Pizza was decent, salad with a mini steak was good but super pricy starters okay. All together would not recommend for dinner sadly.

I like to experiment in new cities with a good reputation for quality food so it says a lot that the wife and I dined her two nights in a row. OK it is very convenient for hotel guests staying at the Hyatt Regency but even if you are not an inhabitant it is worth a go. We had great service on both occasions (compliments to Sierra) and the food was equally as good. Perhaps a tad expensive but the décor has inspired the wife for some renos when we get home and on balance I have no complaints, it was worth it. if we were staying longer it would almost certainly be 3 nights in a row.

A friend and I visited for happy hour during the workweek. They have specials until about 6 pm. The food selection wasn't up my alley. Easy to have something delivered. Both of our drinks were good. About $10 each.

Wicked expensive, absolute rookie staff, unclear "service charge" of twenty percent...the worst Caesar salad I ever had came with "colossal prawn" and that was it, one great big shrimp. Which was undercooked. $16.25 for a sip of Johnny Black when I paid fifteen bucks for Glenlivet the night before. Weird, disorganized, awful food high price. Cannot recommend, especially with so many great places nearby.

I came in, by myself about an hour to close. The place was winding down. I ordered a Ceasar salad with chicken. 26 minutes later it was brought out. The dressing was not traditional, it was off and it was very thin which was a little disconcerting. Then the third of a small chicken breast was burned, like crunchy black burned, and was as dry as a saltine cracker. I knew that the kitchen was closing down so there was no way in heck I was sending it back. Plus, I had delayed eating and the hunger pangs were in full effect. I has to sip water with each bite of chicken to get it down. The food was off, as was the wait staff. They generally don't like single diners. The hostess was a positive light in this otherwise poor experience.

Grabbed a quick lunch and ordered the margarita pizza. It was very good. Crust was perfect. It could have used a little more cheese for my liking but the taste was perfect.

A simple focused menu in a casual inviting environment. I dined here on two occasions and both were great experiences. On one visit I ordered Arancini stuffed with tender braised pork cheek served with a spicy Calabrian aioli as a starter at $8.00. It was very tasty and quite a generous portion. I followed that up with Trofie pasta with the addition of grilled chicken. It was delicious and exploding with flavors. Real comfort food for me! I would highly recommend this spot for a drop-in lunch or dinner in a casual environment centrally located downtown on the first floor of the Hyatt Regency Seattle. The service was excellent as well.Steven provided some great recommendations as well.

I had an Italian lunch at Andare today. A wonderful blond hostess sat me at a table by the window and my server was a helpful and knowledgeable Asian woman. I really wish I would've noted their names, but once I returned to my hotel room I felt I should share how nice their service was. The room is beautiful and I dined on a hearty Tuscan stew and a meatball sandwich for lunch. Both delicious on a cool winter day. The coffee was absolutely delicious too!

Lovely Italian restaurant, with flavor food, and good wine selection. It's located inside Seattle Hyatt Regency. Getting reservations was not difficult, service was prompt, and efficient. Food quality was good!

Significantly worse garlic bread than from the frozen food aisle in the grocery store. Pizza Hut breadsticks and even Little Caesars are better. I am will to pay $9 for 4 slices of bread if you will just for the love of god butter them with garlic butter and bake them. The pizza followed my expectations from the garlic bread. $18 for a pie worse than the $6 fast casual slice across the street. 18% automatically included gratuity on the bill so unless you read the small print on your menu or receipt beware of double tipping. Nice staff and servers though I felt like I was getting uncomfortable looks for dining alone. That suspicion was confirmed when I had maybe the weirdest experience I’ve had at a restaurant. While I was waiting for them to run my card a server bused my table, ok normal. Then he came back and started spraying cleaning solution and wiping down my table while I was sitting there. He proceeded to set the table again with napkins and glasses. It wasn’t like the restaurant was so packed there were people waiting or some urgent need to clean the table. As the guy is already doing it he says “You don’t mind do you?”. I’ve got an after dinner spritz of cleaning solution in my face what am I going to do argue with this guy? I just want to get the hell out of there and I do as soon as I get my card back. I know the convenience of a hotel restaurant is nice but do yourself a favor and walk a block in any direction for a better experience.

It is an okay place, with reasonable prices considered it is inside the Hyatt Regency. Pizza were large and with a good fine dough.

Decent bar and hotel restaurant for a meal when you're getting in late and don't want to venture out. Otherwise, venture out, there are many better restaurants just a few blocks away.

Andare is a very good restaurant and Bar at the Hyatt Seattle. Food is very good and service is excellent. However staying at the hotel for few days, i found the kitchen closes too early. The bar is ok. The staff is great and ready with good recommendations, but I found the bar to be too small, especially that its the main bar for such a large hotel. We found few times that there was no seating as its such a large hotel and they would not seat us in the dining room to have drinks, so we had to leave the hotel which is not ideal.

Food was ok and small portions. They were out of a lot of the beers we requested and several desserts which led to a disappointing meal.

Restaurant located inside the Hyatt Regency , it is a Italian cousin , well know for their pasta and Pizza , unwelcome atmosphere , lighting too bright for the morning and the restaurant little busy , menu very limited for make to order items , but they do have Continental Breakfast and the Full Buffet at your choices , right away , I can tell they do have a problem with Staff shortage , service so slow and I have to ask hostess few time for coffee refilled , but where is my sever ? over all , it is a hotel restaurant only for the convenient , for sure I will not be back , not just me and there is less four unhappy tablets but where is the Manager ? very Poorly run .

1st time here to take advantage of 15% discount to season subscribers of the 5th Ave Theater. This is the first time this restaurant appeared on the list. Very modern surroundings. The menu looked ordinary but each dish was different from what we expected in unique and flavorful ways. It is not often that I pleasantly surprised by a preparation I have not tried before. We will definitely be back, discount or not. Prices were moderate for downtown Seattle.

This restaurant offers excellent Italian food and friendly service. Their later opening hours make it an excellent choice when you’ve just flown in in the evening.

My wife and I had just arrived at the Hyatt Regency Seattle for a 4 night stay when we asked the hotel concierge for a recommendation for a lunch spot. We were in a bit of a hurry and weren't looking to spend too much. Not surprisingly the concierge pointed us to the restaurant connected to the hotel, Andare Kitchen. We were skeptical but also in a hurry and knew absolutely nothing of Seattle. To Andare we went. It was the perfect spot. Good food. Quick service. Pleasant setting. Not too expensive. I had a pasta dish. My wife had some sort of beet salad. We were both pleased. I'd go again. Wait, I did go again. 2 days later. Groundhog day. Same order. Exceptional again. Andare gets high grades. My wife and I get very poor grades for creativity.

Nice to have this place in the mix at the new Hyatt Regency Hotel. A great bar and casual restaurant for when you don't want the more formal and pricier (but fantastic) Daniel's Broiler. I sat at the bar. Stopped by after my last meeting at my conference and it was happy hour (every place in Seattle seems to have one). I tried a few items on the food menu... Meatballs, the Andare Salad, the Margherita Pizza... all really good. They offer a bunch of wines by the glass. I tried the Delille Chaleur Blanc and the Dead Horse Cab... both excellent. My server, Vincent... awesome!!

Great food and atmosphere. We ordered (and enjoyed) the Filet of Beef and Herb Roasted Chicken, which were both cooked and presented to perfection. Staff was great as well, friendly and efficient and they all seemed focused on making sure everything was cleaned throughly, as soon as someone left a table it was picked up and cleaned right away.

The review should actually be rated somewhere between poor and average. Completely mediocre experience. The service was horrible - Colin was my server and I don't think he said more than 2 words to be - probably due to the fact that he was chatting at the host stand. I did a very simple order. The glass of wine was brought in a reasonable amount of time. I finally had to go up and interrupt his conversation at the host stand to ask about the order of bread. He then went to the kitchen area and immediately brought me bread that had obviously been waiting for for pickup. The spaghetti and meatballs were mediocre at best. 2 tiny tasteless meatballs on some very sticky and gooey spaghetti. It just wasn't good. Again -- no interaction with the server. He never asked if I would like another glass of wine or inquired if my meal was ok or perhaps if I wanted some parmesan on the spaghetti. Just awful service. To make matters worse, the restaurant adds on an automatic 18% service fee that they say (on the check) is distributed to collegues and then indicated that I could leave an additional tip! Ridiculous. Perhaps this is why the server didn't provide any service as they know that the are getting 18% regardless of their service.

Absolutely delicious so much so we returned 3 times and ate here twice. The service was 2nd to non excellent from all the staff, very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and very well presented. The atmosphere was fabulous
The Service Made the Difference
Came here multiple times over the course of a trip with friends. Ate at both the restaurant and the bar. The restaurant was good, food was just a little overpriced for the portion size but still tasty and a good price point for most hotels. However, the bar staff really needs to be commended. Especially bartenders Kellen and Chris, who took care of every need and were some of the most personable people I've met behind the bar. They made the experience here worth it, and deserve every bit of praise and cent of a tip they get. Drinks were amazing, service was even better. Go here, check them out, give them your business. The people work hard here and deserve the praise and commendation for success through and through!
