Great Eat Up - Meet Up at O'hare Airport

By Rebecca C |

Our family travels a lot and sometimes, in order to share a meal between our ships-crossing-in-the-night schedule we meet for lunch or dinner at the O'hare Hilton Restaurant Andiamo. It's perfect little walk lunch or dinner place. They have a brunch on weekends but this day we ordered offf the menu. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries (with a very fresh roll) and my husband had the flatbread pizza....also very good!!!!

Friendly service and good food

By KBD87 |

We had dinner at Andiamo while spending the night at the Hilton waiting for an early flight. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. It is a relaxed pleasant atmosphere and a nice place to relax after the stress of air travel. The menu is diverse and we had pepperoni pizza, Turkey Burger, shrimp Mac and cheese, and corn crab cakes. The Shrimp Mac and Cheese was excellent. If you're staying at the Hilton this will be a pleasant dining experience.

Over a barrel

By travelingd0c |

If you are staying at the O'Hare Hilton you have few options for places to eat. I chose this one and would do differently if there again. Food is mediocre. Prices are outlandish. Two of us for dinner and our total was about $125. I'm not opposed to $125 for two if the food is great, but this was not it. Next time, I'm calling in food to my room from some nearby place.

The high point of the Chicago airport Hilton

By Mark B |

We were pleasantly surprised at both the menu and food quality. I had a Fat Pug stout to drink. A local oatmeal stout, definitely worthwhile. My wife had the salmon and I the crab cake, both tasty. I will say the portion size was more than generous. Service was prompt with the bread and drinks. Decor pleasant and modern. Wait staff very good. Not cheap, but it is top dollar at an airport restaurant and Chicago at that. If we stay at the Hilton again, I would eat there.

Quality food, reasonably priced and good service

By KazSydAustralia |

It had been a busy day, rushed lunch, arrived at the hotel not particularly hungry. Decided to give "Andiamo" a try in case I got hungry in the middle of night. Pleasantly surprised. Good atmosphere, food choices excellent, good value and friendly efficient service. I had baked salmon which was yummy. Didn't particularly feel like dessert. Waiter recommended Pecan stickey toffee pudding. It was delicious, light and modestly priced. As a visitor from Down Under [Sydney, Australia] enjoyed it.

Disappointing dessert

By Jondanmax |

My family stayed at this hotel for one night before our early flight to Grand Cayman. The room was relatively clean but for stained, old sheets on the beds. Off putting to say the least. We decided to have dessert and a cocktail before bed and were left waiting for 30 mins in this restaurant before the waiter brought our food. Hardly necessary given there was little preparation, other than to cut the desserts and plate them. The drinks were awful and the price was way too high. Won't be going there again!

Restaurent with captured customers - food can be better

By 69tiger888 |

Airport restaurant with a capture customers ( transient passsengers ). The place is newly renovated , the bar area was crowded . The restaurant is sizable( 60-80 ) only three servers , understaffed . The place was not busy when we arrived at 7 pm , became filled when we left 9 pm .Menu is not extensive , pasta , meat , fish , salad .Our strip steak is good with a tasty sauce The clam chowder , shrimp salad , flat bread al kind of tasteless food that not excite our stomach . May be we should have a hamburger at the bar area instead . Interesting there is another restaurant in the hotel called Gaslight , we were there last visit , definitely has a better kitchen .

A GOOD CHOICE.

Enjoyed several meals during my stay. The service is perfect. Food is top quality. Atmosphere is nice.

Italian Pot Roast - Deliziosa !

By Ready_For_Sun10 |

We were on our way to Anchorage to begin our Alaska cruise. Spent the night at the O'Hare Hilton and as it was late decided to have dinner at Andiamo. This is not your typical hotel eatery. Very classy atmosphere, excellent service, and the food was great. We started with a glass of Wente Merlot and split the Calamari for a starter. Cooked to perfection, not a single piece was over or under cooked. The marinara and mustard sauce were perfect for dipping. We decided to split the main course and went with the Italian Pot Roast. This tasted like Grandma use to make. The sauce was to die for and we asked for more bread to finish. A note of caution if your looking for a bargain this is not the place. If you want a special meal that you will remember it is worth the extra expense. Our meal with tip was just South of $100.

Ick!

By Lilyqueen321 |

Just don't go unless you are having the breakfast buffet or a lettuce salad - Caesar Salad was the best thing I had. The menu is nasty; avoid the raw scallops and flatbreads (crust is really bad). Fritto Misto - deep fried seafood was the item most appreciated by peers. Many items that contain olives are over-done with olives. Olives become the predominant flavor in the dish. Lastly, do not order the pizza - order it in. I have never had worse pizza.

Hotel food

By jrippwilltravel |

Glass of wine was ridiculously expensive. I know I'm at an airport hotel restaurant so I expected it but crazy expensive. I should have brought my own bottle from home for my room!! Ordered the margarita pizza. The mozzarella didn't taste fresh at all. Would not recommend that dish.

Sports bar and good food

By Reijo B |

Located in the Hilton hotel, between terminals 2 and 3. Bar section with most sports displayed on multiple monitors. Also a normal restaurant seating, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Limited, but varied, meny (something for everyone). Good service and acceptable wine list. A little pricy, due to mainly business guests.

A Nice Breakfast as Andiamo

By The_Loup_Garou |

A Nice Breakfast as Andiamo On the night of our arrival at the Hilton, my wife rushed to a meeting at Andiamo, before we had dinner in another on-property restaurant. Our plane had been late arriving from Omaha, so she was also late for this informal meeting - in the seating area, at the bar at Andiamo. The next morning, we were down to Andiamo, for breakfast, before flying out to Knoxville. We often do just this sort of schedule, when we overnight at the hotel. This May trip was no exception, and though we had a fairly early flight out of ORD for TYS, we were back to Andiamo. We were seated in the front dining area this time, and not back toward the buffet, as per usual. We quickly had a menu, and also instructions/directions on the buffet. Though we are not “buffet people,” we went in that direction, due to the upcoming flight. With coffee, and orange juice on the table, we headed to the buffet: Crisp pieces of bacon Freshly made eggs to order – over medium for my wife An Omelette w/ cheddar and ham Toast All items were very good, as was our service. Now, Andiamo is really three restaurants, all in generally the same space. First, it’s a bar, and has typical bar seating, but also has a seating area, off to the side. Then, a bit farther back, there is a dining room, divided into two areas: one near the hostess desk, then another, back toward where the buffet is set up. There’s also a private dining room, just across the hallway from the bar, but I have only seen it in use on one visit. I liked the front area, open to the hotel’s lobby, as it was just a bit brighter. The tables are well-spaced, and there are several dining areas, which almost seem separate. If given the choice, I will now always opt for this front area. For an airport hotel’s buffet breakfast, it was quite good, and glad that we stopped in.

GOOD BREAKFAST TO START THE DAY IN CHI TOWN!

By bdude2016 |

Staying at the airport Hilton, we had breakfast with friends at this restaurant. Service is great. Buffet is available but we wanted to get on the road so selected from the menu.

Better than the restaurants within the airport terminals

By Allen21096 |

Andiamo is located on the east end of the lobby of the Hilton Chicago - O'Hare Airport.. It is a casual dining restaurant that is comfortable, but has an elegant and contemporary ambiance. We stayed in the hotel for one night and in the morning we had breakfast which was a very nicely done buffet. The staff was friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast is included with the rate.

Worst Dining Experience in a Decade

By PaulinCincy |

Looked forward to a relaxing dinner after our flight home was cancelled due to weather and we had to stay in the airport Hilton overnight. What we experienced instead was abysmal. From the surly hostess to the absent waitress to the overpriced mediocre food, it was all wrong. We were not alone, as the tables around us encountered long waits for service, delayed or unfilled orders, and an obvious lack of attention or concern on the part of the wait staff. All in all, a dreadful way to end an already stressful day.

Good food and good service

By travelsome |

We had a group of about 10. Service was good. The menu offered enough choices for all to be happy. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The rolls were warm, but nothing special. The meal was good. I had the tiramisu and coffee for dessert. It was good, but not great. So overall it is a good place for a meal. Especially if you are staying at the hotel. I wouldn't say I would rush to go back.

Bad service

By NDfamilyof4 |

Pretty poor service, actually one of the worst service experiences I have had. The assistant to the waiter was kind, the waiter seemed disinterested in helping. Never once asked my how meal was and I had to wait a long time to get the bill. I also had to wait a bit to order and they didn’t seem busy at all. I normally don’t write bad reviews but they have some improvements to make. I still left 20 percent tip as I didn’t want the assistant to get short changed because the main server doesn’t care. Food was pretty decent for a hotel restaurant.

Great restaurant conveniently located with the Hilton O'Hare hotel

By KazSydAustralia |

I have had breakfast and dinner in "Andiamo". Conveniently located, nice environment, excellent customer focused staff and good service. Good food plenty of choices and very reasonably priced.

Surprised by the Quality

By Pineleaf |

Very fresh pasta. My wife had pasta with tomatoes, basil, and lobster. I had the wild mushroom mac-n-cheese. Both were excellent! We shared a wonderful fresh salad as well. We were not expecting much at this busy Hilton Hotel and the food exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere can be loud and lacks any real character. If are looking for a good meal at the O'Hare airport this is the best choice.

Bar was quite vibrant on a weeknight

By SFTRVLR |

Nice environment- just went to the bar. on a weeknight the bar was quite busy. Was a nice feel with lots of people in transit (it is an airport hotel) relaxing with a drink or food from the bar menu. Definitely didn't feel like a sad empty airport hotel bar.

Convenient for travellers arriving at O'Hare airport

By Peter N |

When you arrive at Chicago O'Hare airport looking for a place to eat you do not have much choice. The Hilton Chicago O'Hare Andiamo restaurant is your only choice. From the outside it looks like an expensive fine dining restaurant but it is not. Seatings are casual and the food is ok. We ordered fried squids and burgers which are not gourmet food but acceptable. Our bill comes to US$52 which is acceptable for dining inside / within an airport.

food was good, service was soso

By firebear1961 |

A group of us went here for dinner since we were staying in the Hilton. The food was good, but our waiter was a little slow on refills.

We were trapped, but not taken advantage of...

By GeoMedic |

A forced stay at ORD on New Year's Eve left us with little to choose from. I have learned in my travels that hotel restaurants are usually overpriced with poor "industrialized" food, served to you by insolent youth. Not so at Andiamo! While yes, you can order high cost meals, the menu is diverse enough so that you can find less expensive fare to suit most tastes. I stuck with pasta, tortellacci (essentially tortellini) in a nice red sauce w/ olives ($18). My wife had the Chicken Parmesan ($25). The tortellacci serving size was healthy, but not what I'd consider large for most American eateries. My wife's meal was certainly larger. Not that serving size is the top priority... I'd rather have a little excellent food than a pile of... well, you get my drift. Our server (Vesella) was super. She did what she could to make our dinner as good as it good be. Cheerful and efficient, she'd be a credit to any restaurant. You will surely see reviews stating that the food is overpriced. On a world scale, the food here is excellent and is priced appropriately for the situation. While we were trapped, we certainly didn't feel that way. If I find myself on that side of airport security or have a longish layover, I'll do the quick walk over to eat again.

Buffet Breakfast at Andiamo

By Irina |

The service in Andiamo was excellent, I was nicely greeted by the receptionist at the entrance and was quickly seated in a comfortable booth. The waiter Mohammed is a very knowledgeable employee, he is also a very friendly and pleasant person -- properly attentive and expeditious in serving. I had a buffet breakfast which was nice and tasty, as usual. My only suggestion would be not to diminish the choice of fruit any further because there won't be any fruit left on the buffet trays at all. I remember the (good old) times a few years back when there were grapes and strawberries in the breakfast buffet. I am sure the hotel guests would enjoy those again -- healthy food!

Pleasant and Popular Venue

By Rosie K |

One of the best reasons to stay at the Hilton O’Hare is their Italian restaurant Andiamo. The adjacent sports bar is always humming, and as the evening wears on, singles, couples and groups migrate toward the restaurant, too. Diners may choose items from either the restaurant or sports bar menus. Service is prompt and pleasant with servers moving effortlessly through the rooms, satisfying the need of every customer – wine to this table, pasta dishes to that. The food is excellent and the portions more than adequate. We have eaten at the Andiamo several times and have always been satisfied with our dining experience there.

Very Bland and $$$$

By kidflemingo |

I was staying in the hotel so eating here was easy. That is the only good thing I can say about my experience. I was torn between a few options and the server suggessted the ribeye. In hindsight I think it was because it was the most $$$ on the menu. The steak was soooo overcooked it was scary and it had NO flavor. The vegetables were hard as a rock. My meal cost $60 and in my opinion it was not worth $6. If I eat here again I wont order the steak!!!!!!

Thank you Alli and Emma

By laura r |

Emma greeted me with a huge smile and had a warm friendly demeanor. I went right at 6:00 am opening, my server Ali got me started with a latte right away. He was very courteous and professional. I had a hectic travel experience the day before but today my morning started on a great note, thanks to Ali and Emma. My breakfast was good but the staff made it amazing.

Great in hotel restaurant.

By Holly K |

While staying at the Hilton O'Hare, we enjoy dinner and breakfast, both of which were excellent. The menus are diverse, a full service bar and wait staff that is knowledgeable as well as engaging.

Overpriced but food good

By jeffh222018 |

Arriving late in the evening we needed something to eat before we went to bed. Wife ordered Coconut Shrimp, I had Calamari. Both dishes were good, lots of food, but I remember only her drink cost us $16.50 which I thought was out of line. Friendly server but too expensive for my tastes.

Great dinner

By mikeylim |

We arrived late into Hilton Chicago O’Hare and was hungry. After a quick check in in , we proceeded downstairs for dinner The menu was interesting and eventually we opted for the rib eye steak and ordered a bottle of Merlot. The freshly baked bread was a welcome starter. The service was fast and quick with our mains served in no time. We ordered a Tiramisu to share as we polished up the bottle of Merlot Overall a satisfying dinner at a great venue in the hotel Will repeat when I come back next time.

Even Worse Than I Expected

By Steven L |

Don't eat at this restaurant. Everything is terrible... food, service, and ambiance. Food. I started with Frito Misto... only ate a small amount. Breading mushy or completely separated from the poorly defrosted seafood. Chicken with Red Rice. Chicken overcooked and rice was a pool of mush. Service. Indifferent. Ambiance. Noise from next door sports bar. You are warned.

Dinner on a Sunday

By Bustrav8585 |

Service was good. My waitress was very attentive. However, the overall theme is tired and needs a face lift. I was seated by the bar area and an unpleasant odor kept finding its way to my table. Food selection is limited. My pasta was good though which made the meal worth it, the cauliflower apps were interesting.

Both Bar & Restaurant (Breakfast) Were Good

By The_Loup_Garou |

We have now stayed at the Hilton Chicago O’Hare a dozen (or more) times. In the past, we have just headed to Gaslamp Club for a late dinner, then to the airport early the next morning. On this June trip, we got to experience Andiamo, and both their bar, and the restaurant. We had arrived a bit later, than planned, and my wife had a dinner meeting at Gaslamp Club, but after having our flight divert to MKE for 2 hours, due to weather, we wanted a glass of wine, and the bar at Andiamo provided that. OK, the wine list is short, but we managed. Then, we had a later (than usual) flight to BUF, so did Breakfast at Andiamo. Normally, we do not do buffets. We only order off of the menu. However, our server begged us to try the buffet, and it was a good suggestion. The Bacon was hot, and crisp. The Eggs were freshly done. The Fruit was delicious, and even the Oatmeal was very good. I have had better Breakfasts, and have paid dearly for them, but for a buffet, this was quite good. Service was excellent, and our Juice and Coffee were refilled quickly. The venue is attractive, and I enjoyed the “circle motif” on the glass behind the host/hostess stand, and then repeated in the chair backs. The tables are well-spaced, and there are several dining areas, which almost seem separate. They have a large, semi-private room, where one could also have a breakfast meeting. When we return in the Autumn, we will likely come back to Andiamo, at least for Breakfast.

A Good Choice if You are Staying Overnight

By DenverJack |

After checking in to the Hilton at O'Hare I went downstairs to Andiamo for a late dinner. The place was very lively at the sports bar with a group from Allstate celebrating. I was seated in a quiet booth and had a great waiter. Excellent service and very good Italian entrée and salad. Complimentary glass of wine with the salad. Perfect for a late night meal and avoided the need to leave the airport.

Good dinner

By Sokolker |

The sweet potato and pumpkin soup was good, as was the spaghetti and meatballs entree. Fresh bread was also good. Service was very good.

Food was fine but not the quality I expected

By AndyAquila |

I ate lunch and dinner here and lunch was fine. Served quickly and nice although large portions. Dinner was strange not least because the two courses were served at more or less the same time. Perhaps this is an American habit? The free glass of wine had to be requested rather then being offered to me. The servings were huge (too big for an average person) and not the best I have had despite it being in a Hilton Hotel.

Nice Casual Dining

By Musiclovermax |

We were quickly seated and given menus. While we looked at the choices, water glasses were filled and the server told us about the features and specials. There was an offer of a complementary glass of wine with the order of an appetizer and a main course. We decided to give it a try. We ordered the soup (pumpkin), the beet salad and the in-house handmade meatballs with spaghetti. The food arrived quickly and even though we shared the main course, there was plenty of food for us. The soup was great! The beet salad came on a bed of sugared goat cheese - not my favorite, but since is was on the bottom, I could avoid that part. The rest of the salad was very good. The meatballs as advertised were very tasty. The spaghetti sauce was a good match for the meat. There were many drink choices and also dessert choices. We had come in on a late flight, so we were there for a quick bite. There were a few things that looked interesting, but we'll have to try them another time. Service was really good, attentive, but not intrusive and water glasses were filled frequently. I thought that the cost was quite reasonable for this hotel and this location.

Duck wings incredible

By elridder |

Wanted to have lunch so thought we would stop in the Hilton. Went to the restaurant and open the menu and they had Duck wings. Now I love duck but normally do not order it as it is usually done to long and is dry and tough. The server Teri though told me these were delicious. I toke her word and wow was she right. Tender, moist, full of flavor just incredible. My wife had a burger which was really awesome as well. Just SO GLAD we went here

Breakfast and Lunch

By smitty237 |

While staying at the Hilton at the Chicago Airport, Imhad lunch and breakfast at Andiamo. Lunch was good. It was a late lunch due to travel. I had the pizza. Service was good. My glass was always full. Breakfast was a buffet. Good and Diamond Hilton Honors receive a credit on the bill. This will pay for the cold bar. If you use the hot bar, it will cost $10. The food was good. It is self service. No special plans riders.

Great Ceasar's Salad

By TW195 |

I flew in to Chicago for a working business lunch so I scheduled it at the Hilton O'hare which is conveniently located across from terminal 2. I got off my plane and took the underground walkway to the hotel and up one level to the lobby of the Hilton. It could not have been more convenient. We ate lunch at ANDIAMO which is right off the lobby next to the sports bar. I ordered the Cesar salad with salmon. It was really a great Caesar salad. The lettuce was cool and crisp, the dressing was creamy and the salmon moist and juicy. it was as good if not better than any Caesar salad at any of the top restaurants in Chicago, bar none. And it was reasonably priced. The staff was courteous and attentive and we were not rushed. The atmosphere was upscale but relaxed. i recommend it heartily, something I do not often do. here again another Hilton property with exactly what I would expect, outstanding quality and service.

Enjoyed our dinner

By stevendale |

Ate here while staying at the Hilton. Prices are high and they have a small menu. You can probably ask for the Sports Bar menu for lighter fare. Had an appetizer of smoked salmon which was very good. Had spaghetti for dinner which was good and my wife had a salad. Good food for a trapped hotel restaurant.

Better than expected...

By Svensota |

Hard to believe you can find a decent restaurant in an airport--but Andiamo delivers. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Not great--but good. I've eaten here a half dozen times and I always leave, thinking--"That was much better than expected." And, the bar just outside the entrance is lively and friendly.

It will do if you are running between meetings or catching a flight but that’s about it

By tms215 |

It is a hotel restaurant located in the Hyatt. Not much of a menu, service is so-so, and the food is mediocre at best. Dry grilled chicken, salads were meh, hot dog is nothing special. If you have time, grab a cab and eat away from the hotel

Good option when staying at Hilton ORD

By Ron |

We had late dinner, salad with salmon. Very good dish. Beer selection was limited and $11 for draft beer was a steep price to pay. Still, they were open till 11pm and were a good option for late airport dinner.

Over-priced but acceptable food

By TheRealAwaxy |

If you stay at the Hilton at ORD with no wheels, you have a choice of 3 places to eat in the hotel. Andiamo was my choice. I had a beet salad appetizer, a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, and one glass of middle of the road wine. The bill with tax and tip was $57. Ouch! The beet salad was very good! It had both red and golden beets, goat cheese, bacon-almond brittle (a tad sweet) and arugula. The spaghetti was overcooked. The meatballs were OK. My server was quite good. He checked in on me at appropriate times and did a good job overall. If I had to stay there again, I might try the other regular restaurant - The Gaslight Club, whose entrees were mostly in the mid-$20s as opposed to the higher priced entrees at Andiamo.

Slightly Tired Restaurant in Tired Hotel

By Bird Traveler |

Andiamo has a friendly staff and atmosphere but the hotel, the menu and the food are all due for an update. We dined here in the evening about 7:30 p.m. We ordered from the dinner menu. Entrees were expensive and limited. After we had ordered, we noticed another table was served sandwiches so they must have had other options if requested. We had spaghetti and meat balls. The meat balls were dry and tasteless. The spaghetti noodles were very good but the sauce was bland. Not a highly recommended restaurant. Food in the airport terminals is actually significantly better.

Stopover on Trip to Minnesota

By tfig218 |

On our anniversary trip to see Lake Superior (on my "bucket list") my wife and I visited with my son and his new bride. Andiamo was selected because of its convenience and menu options. Frankly, we were disappointed - good quality but way over priced. For example, a bottle of Chardonnay which we could have purchased in our local grocery store for $12 cost $50. The overall price was comparably high considering what we ordered. On the positive side, it was a convenient location (Airport Hilton) and the atmosphere was appropriate for the purposes sought. Also, for those prices, they should have offered wine glasses!

Great meal with fabulous service

By Kawana Travellers |

I really enjoyed my meal at Andiamo. I started with the house salad and followed with the shrimp pasta. Both were very tasty. The service was exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner for one. Congratulations to the great team.

Great ambience/service/food

By Amarylis08 |

Not stuffy but sophisticated, felt comfortable as a family group but would have happily have picked it for a business lunch or dinner too.

Simply Awful!

By WorldTravellerMan |

This is one of two in-house restaurants at the Chicago O'Hare Hilton. I ate dinner here with a few colleagues last night, and the food was simply awful. I ordered the pan seared chicken, which was tasteless, tough and dry. Honestly, I could barely cut the thing with my knife. Possibly a steak knife might have helped but a chain saw would have been more appropriate to deal with this bird. I have eaten better chicken at a fast food restaurant. At one-tenth the price. I ordered the grilled asparagus side for $8, which was ok but vastly over-priced. This morning I had the continental breakfast buffet for $27, which was a bit better. But, the oatmeal was runny, and some of the fruit was over-ripe. Again, the food was hugely over-priced for what I got. But, the individual breakfast entrées are simply a rip-off. Service at both meals was average. Take-away: Get on the CTA Blue Line and go to a restaurant with good food and fair prices near one of the transit stations. DO NOT eat at Andiamo!

Business dinner

By LoveToVacateMichigan |

At dinner with a group of 10. Had reservation and table was ready. Restaurant was very loud. Drinks came promptly. Dinner took an unusually long time although things didn't seem that busy. Food was well prepared and everyone enjoyed there dinner.

Greasy and just bad.

By JustCarry0n |

There were greasy marks on the table when we sat down. That should’ve been an indication of what was to come. My husband ordered a pot roast sandwich with a side salad. That wasn’t too bad but the salad is incredibly small. The problem was my crispy chicken sandwich. not only was it not crispy, the The chicken was shiny with grease when it arrived. I scraped off the breading only to find the chicken was actually grilled chicken that had been dipped in batter and fried. The grill marks were obvious on the chicken. Why didn’t I complain? It was about 1:45 and the restaurant closed at 2:00. We were between flights needed to head back to the airport which is a short walk across the street. Our waiter couldn’t have been less interested. The restaurant was shabby, the table was greasy, the food was greasy. Just stay at the airport and eat the food there.

Overpriced, Excellent Quality

By Zudlow |

I had a meal voucher from an airline, so I gladly ordered a $16 waffle/eggs/sausage combo. Prepared to complain about overpriced microwave food, but bro that was possibly the best waffle breakfast I've ever had. Gorgeously prepared, delicious, filling, no complaints at all. Just that if I was on my own dime, I definitely would've thought it too much money.

Good breakfast buffet but way overpriced

By Elicia L |

Wide variety breakfast buffet, including eggs made to order. It was $26 each though, so $58 for my husband and I including tip. A bit ridiculous for breakfast. However the food was decent, nothing special though, and the service was really good. $20 would be a bit more reasonable for the standard food offered. We ordered from the bar menu for takeout dinner and it was decent, nothing special, $15 duck burger. Would eat there again!

very expensive breakfast

By brancusirocks |

The breakfast buffet offers a typical selection of fruit juices, bread and pastries, cereals, scrambled eggs, fruit and yogurt that in other hotels are priced at a lot less than the $24 this Hilton eatery charges. I chose to order the eggs Bennie: two perfectly poached eggs on savoury bread, alas drowned in Hollandaise that definitely wasn't home made, with a side dish of insipid cooked spinach and one cherry tomato and a few pieces of melon of all things to serve with eggs. This was $17.50, and there was an extra charge for the small plate of fruit I took from the buffet so I ended up paying $32 for a breakfast that really was nothing special. Next time, I'll order room service. Compliments to the waiting staff however for their friendly, cheerful and attentive service.

Very good service and food quality for group of six

By Tech-trekker |

Not wanting to grab cabs and head outside of the hotel for dinner, everyone agreed to meet here for dinner the night before the next day's all-day meeting. Our server was very professional and was quick to respond with drinks and dinner. I had the Cesar salad (entree size) with a grilled chicken breast. The chicken was cooked nicely and was very moist. Many times at restaurants, sadly, you'll get a bone-dry chicken breast. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.

Excellent Andiamo salad and minestrone soup!

By Margaret B |

I very much enjoyed my lunch at Andiamo - food quality was excellent, even though service was a tad inattentive. I had the Andiamo House Salad with shrimp and took half of it back to my room, it was so big. The dressing on it was especially good, along with the blue cheese crumbles. The Minestrone soup was medium spicy and exciting. It wasn't on their menu but when I mentioned it was on the Room Service menu, I got some. Looking forward to dinner here tonight. For breakfast, the scoop of natural yogurt I put on the fresh fruit made a real treat - luckily the buffet was covered by my room rate - it's kinda pricey.

Flavorless food with a high price

By MacMan1972 |

Ceaser salad had a dressing that was NOT ceaser salad. Pasta was bland. I'd suggest ordering from someplace else.

Great meal in an airport hotel

By Johnboy212 |

Was pleasantly surprised. Had a great table, and very fast and efficient service. The Italian theme for dinner is evident but there was a lot of choice, especially meat dish. Opted for a wagu beef mac n cheese which was so delicious and filling I couldn't eat it all. Also the house caesar salad was great, not too salty. The only reason I gave it four out of five is because it was quite expensive.

Nice Airport Restaurant

By Jacole1946 |

Good place for dinner after business meetings at the airport. The menu is limited but good enough for an occaisional visitor. Service is always very good and attentive. Again, if you're at the airport, it's worth a visit.

Quality Food, Service a bit odd

By MrSmokeyMountainMan |

For a captive audience, this place isn't bad for an Italian meal. The food was average, the caramel dessert made the meal. I don't think it was so busy that our waiter should have been as slow or confused as he seemed to be.

Handy when Hungry and a Hotel guest

By Stpauliaina |

Food is really good. Especially a Caesar Salad with Salmon. Wine nice also. Waiter ... Cost okay too.

$41 for flaccid spaghetti and rubbery meatballs

This restaurant is well below average, even for a hotel restaurant. And the prices are extortionate for what you get. $9.75 for a beet and $34 for bad spaghetti and meatballs. Even the bread was stale! The Italian restaurant in Terminal 1 (airside) is better.

Go if you want to feel discriminated

By Aaaaniversary |

My friend and I wanted to sit down and eat something warm. We had a simple breakfast 2 hour ago, so we refused breakfast buffet and coffee. The waiter claimed he would answer our questions and yes of course, he answered in a very impatient manner. He also ‘kindly’ reminded us “if you want to order something cheap, we have a cafe on the other side” while we were checking the menu (yeah, we are Asians and my friend needed 5min more to read menu and figure out what food is safe to try). And of course, he didn’t bring us water. And bonus! He threw me the cereal bowl after I stood by and scanned the cereal counter multiple times. The disgusting feeling successfully defeated the tiny grumble of my stomach. We ordered food over $20 a little bit. There were plenty of empty tables during our < 40-min staying. We left after finishing the food immediately. I gave him 15% tips due to the courtesy. I didn’t bring it up to the manager just because my friend was about to enter the security check point and make her departure more unpleasant. My friend said this was her first time to be treated in such humiliating way in the US, and this was mine too. We said goodbye in a hurry, no hug, just speechless and disgusting awkwardness of being discriminated was diluting and poisoning the atmosphere.

A nice place for an airport meal

By ghfatw |

This is decent but not great airport hotel restaurant. It is good for salmon and steak and other relatively basic dishes. It's menu is basic. But service is relatively good and the location is such that between flights this is a good place to stop for a meal if you have a bit of extra time and are going out through security (dining options in ORD itself inside security are limited).

Slow Service

By tez56 |

We had an unexpected flight cancellation and stopped at the Hilton for the night. We decided to try the hotel restaurant. The food was good. Nothing exceptional given the fact that it was quite expensive, but it did all come out at the same time and tasted good. Just a shame the service was slow, especially considering the restaurant was not that busy.

Food was good; really overpriced

By GLORIAGRAZZIOTIN |

Andiamo restaurant have a very poor and unfredly service . Food was good; but really overpriced ..

Quick lunch

By Greg D |

Here for a quick lunch. Went with the Ceaser salad with shrimp. Large size would definitely be enough to feed 2. Loved the fact they put artichoke hearts in the salad. Different but very tasty. The coffee is good here as well. Service was ok. No issues just not tentative.

Fine restaurant for an airport hotel - with very good service

By EagleFlyer |

Had dinner and breakfast at Andiamo while staying overnight between flights at the Hilton O´Hare. The food was good and the service was fine - no complaints. Overall, on par with what one would expect for an airport hotel. The menu at Andiamo has Italian foundation but is quite international. There are not so many items of each kind, but the variety is good. My choice was the rib-eye, which was fine, despite being cooked quite a bit beyond my preference of medium rare. The service at dinner was friendly and helpful throughout . The waiter gave me good options for red wine with dinner - permitting tasting before deciding. For breakfast, I had the buffet, which is quite standard, but good. Not much involved in terms of service, but no complaints. The prices at the restaurant are higher than the quality warrants, but that is to be expected at an airport restaurant.

A calm place in a hectic airport

By Rosementko |

My husband and I were traveling and had a long layover at O'Hare Airport. We were hungry and wanted to escape the craziness at the airport so we walked over to the Hilton and ate at Andiamo. There was no problem with us having carry on luggage stacked beside our table. I ordered a salad and my husband had a lamb burger. The service was good and the food was much better that what is offered at the airport. The restaurant was a sanctuary because it was so much calmer than the airport at Christmas time. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. The food was a little pricey, but that is how it is when you are traveling.

Terrible

By Michael T |

Although my party of 3 was seated promptly, we weren't waited on for almost 10 minutes which would have been understandable were the restaurant busy, but it was hardly that. Maybe I'm being spoiled with the seafood quality here in New England, but I ordered the Fish'n'Chips and it was the same quality as what you'll find in your grocer's freezer, absolutely terrible. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the breakfast buffet the next morning wasn't bad either but prices for both dinner and breakfast were pretty high. Moral of the story: If you are going to eat at the hotel, the bar food at the "sports bar" area on the left as you approach Andiamo is pretty decent.

A surprisingly fabulous dinner on a stopover!

By Vagish Dixit |

One doesn't expect much at airport hotels by way or cuisine. We were therefore pleasantly surprised by the very tasty and well differentiated fare at Andiamo. As vegetarians, we used to suffering with limited offerings, mostly on salads and some basic pastas. The cauliflower fritte and stuffed eggplant as starters were super fabulous. We shared a eggplant meatball pasta. Eggplant was used to make meatball like balls. It reminded me of Indian and Turkish koftas. Again a 10 on 10. The icing on the cake was genuinely warm and friendly service. The young lady Michelle went out of the way to be very helpful including offering my wife a sample of Samy Adam draft just so she was sure she would like it. 10 on 10 to her as well. All in all, a very pleasant experience for us and I would highly recommend it.

Great steak, friendly service!

By Felana9 |

We stopped here to get dinner before our flights home. We ordered the NY strip steak and it was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. Alma was our server and she was friendly and made it a wonderful experience.

Above Expectations

By NapierAssociates |

This restaurant is in the Hilton O'Hare hotel. Being next to the airport you would expect the guests to be transient and the restaurant a little uncaring. Being part of a group of 15 I was surprised at the quality of the food and expertise of the staff. Well worth going.

Average food, Average service, Great Location

By cuisine_screener |

I had a Rubben, wife wad a Cesar. Our waiter "Victor" tried hard to up-sell us on EVERY catagory of the menu. A bit annnoying after coming off a 13 flight. The Cesar was OK except the fried Parma cheese topping had hydrated to something like fiberglass, & the Rubben was cheap on corned beef & kraut, but it was served with a huge mountain of fries, making up for any lack. So, average food & service....HOWEVER, not having to take an Uber into town and being able to just go upstairs after our meal, pushed the whole experience over the top.

Not quite what I expected

By Roy D |

Based on previous reviews I was expecting a little better service and a little better fare. Very hit and miss. Had a Caesar salad and the chicken was very dry. The split pea soup was bland. But on the other hand the fresh bread was good and the appetizers were as well. Overall it was pricey. I probably would not eat here again.

Very disappointing

By Geoff Frisby |

I stayed at the Hilton at ORD and ate dinner at Andiamo. When I was greeted by the hostess she advised me I they could not seat me as they had two large parties in the restaurant. I looked past her and the restaurant was about 2/3 full with several seats. I was advised I could wait in the lounge area for about 20 minutes. I requested to be seated in the restaurant and I would wait there. A supervisor came over shortly after and took my drink order. Right after I received my drink, he also took my food order. The calamari was good but a little greasy. The pasta with Italian sausage and broccoli was terrible. There was very little sausage (it had not favour) and I only found one very small piece of broccoli. The pasta itself had a bad taste. I only had a couple bites of it. To their credit the pasta was taken off the bill. Unfortunately when you stay at this hotel your dinning choices are limited so the next alternative will be stay at a different hotel.

Curate's Egg

By Antarctic |

I visited for breakfast and took the buffet option which was ok. Buffet breakfasts in the US never have a wide range of food choices but this restaurant appears to have improved since the last time I stayed at the hotel. Expensive for what was on offer but as expected for a hotel at O'Hare. The staffing experience was a trifle confused. A very helpful lady started the process by bringing drinks etc. Another waitress turned up 15 minutes later and said she was in charge and would take my order - by them I was half way through my breakfast. The waitress in charge turned up 5 minutes later and advised she would be away for 10 minutes. Somebody else then came along and delivered the check. I would have been content with the first helpful lady who was more in control of the situation than either of the others who appeared to be on maximise the tip patrol.

Enjoyed complimentary buffet breakfast

By bobsV2461PL |

As an Hilton Diamond member staying at the Airport Hilton, got a complimentary buffet breakfast. Not much of a greeting at hostess stand, seated with no words spoken. Had a lot of choices at buffet. Really enjoyed the butterscotch pancakes. Got my own OJ and coffee just as server appeared to get it for me. Never saw serve again. Left coupon on table and left with out any word from any staff person.

Overpriced for what it offers - avoid

By rlogue |

We arrived late and had to leave early the next day so we were limited in our choices. The sports bar was busy so we went for the restaurant. What a disappointment. We were charged $27 for each pasta dish and although my pasta and meatballs were ok my wife's ravioli was a very small portion for the ridiculous price we were charged. Fortunately our bread was free. We ordered glasses of wine which arrived in water tumblers and were charged the price for a bottle of wine in London per glass. Service was friendly but the server was clearly determined to rush our service so we would leave sooner. Not a problem as we could not wait to leave the place.

it's not Italian.....

By bonsai35 |

it's pub food, which is fine, but if you have a garlic allergy like I do and it's in EVERYTHING< they say it's an Italian restaurant. but it's not.

Club-like Ambience

By JoPark |

This is one of three restaurants in the Ohare Hilton. It has a continental, club ambience. The food is delicious and is served in large portions. We shared flatbread and a dinner salad and the meal comes with a tray of breads. Everything was very good. It is expensive, although not as expensive as the steak restaurant. The service was good. This is a good choice if you do not want to go outside the hotel.

Good food, Chicago Hotel Prices

By Athena53 |

I had dinner with my 4-year old granddaughter at Andiamo. The food was good and they had a lot of selections on the Kid's Menu (although as soon as I said "Pizza" I didn't need to go any further). Service was good (the waiter offered to put her water in a Kid Cup with a straw) and the food was served promptly. My pasta dish had a generous amount of shrimp. Her pizza was nicely done with a thin, crisp crust. Dinner for the two of us, just two entrees and a 9-ounce glass of wine in the lower price range, plus complimentary bread served with butter and with olive oil, was just over $60 with tip. Sometimes you just have to let go of your grip on reality and go with the flow on vacation. We also had the continental breakfast included in the room rate. They had breads, meats, cheeses, several types of cereal, yogurt (plain and flavored) and small pancakes and pieces of French toast. I appreciated the smaller portions- less waste when you're feeding children and other light eaters. The hot selections were the usual bacon, eggs and sausage- we didn't miss them.

Casual, but good food

By HB1008 |

The restaurant is more casual than The Gaslight Club. The food and service was excellent. I had the eggplant meatball sub with a salad. The side salad was fresh and had a light vinagrette dressing. The sub was really good. The sauce was really generously place on the fabulous roll it came on. The meatballs were soft and moist and tasty. A good lunch place!

Just ok, but expensive

By AdamsL105 |

Food was just ok. Glad for a meal that wasn’t fast food at the airport. But it was kinda expensive, $83.00 for two. Minestrone soup was great.

expensive and average quality

By YM2540 |

had dinner - prosciutto flatbread and ceasar salad. Quality was mediocre and expensive . Only go there for convenience.

Good food and service

By avkatnet |

Ate here 2 nights. Prices a little high, but not unexpected for an airport hotel that caters to business travelers. Would have liked a little more variety on the menu.

There are good options other than the buffet for breakfast.

By Dennis N |

We met out daughter for breakfast and the buffet didn't look appealing to us with the standard fare of scrambled eggs, bacon, melon and breads, muffins and pastries. At $26 including juice and coffee that's probably not a bad price, especially if you are a business traveler in a hurry. We weren't so we checked the menu my wife and daughter each had the 3-egg made to order omelet which comes with breakfast potates and toast for about $16. Coffee is $3.50 and juice $5.25. I had the steel-cut oatmeal Brulee which included blueberries and apples and a little sugar for $10. Bill came to $70 with tip vs over $100 for 3 buffet and service was quick to get our food but never saw our waiter after that...but it was very busy from 7-8 AM.

For an Airport Hotel Buffet Breakfast - Quite Good

By The_Loup_Garou |

We stay at the Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel often, and now usually have breakfast at Andiamo, when there.

On Site Restaurant

By Jags_On_Tour |

Arriving late at O'Hare, the Andiamo made for a welcome stop before bed. Prices are as you may expect from an on site hotel but they do offer a well priced 3 course meal deal for $39/head. Service was good and swift; just what we needed before bed.

Only if you really have no other choice

By BorderCollieFans |

This restaurant is conveniently located in the ORD Hilton, which connects by tunnels directly to the terminals. O'Hare now has many good choices of restaurants, but they are all past TSA/Security (except in the International Terminal), so that if you are meeting someone at the airport who has a long layover, you have only places like Starbuck's to share a meal with them. Hence one gets stuck at Andiamo in the Hilton. The breakfast buffet is $28 (!) without tax or tip, and it is no better than what one can get at a Denny's for half the price. One of our party ordered from the menu, which was only a bit cheaper, but it took the kitchen 30 minutes to serve two eggs over easy, sausage, potatoes, and toast. Service was, well, terrible. There weren't many people in the restaurant (I now know why), and the waiters were inattentive or talking among themselves. Not a place I would return.

Friendly!

By Irina |

Second review - better impressions, better food choices. The usual , very friendly atmosphere. Thanks, Edin and Mohammed! I also enjoyed talking to you! It's nice to be welcome as an old friend. From 6 am through 11 am, Andiamo serves a buffet breakfast, they now added more fruit choices, very fresh and tasty cold cuts, various pastries, etc., and they also make omelettes to order. The chilled grapefruit juice there is the best, hot coffee (including decaf) is tasty! The service was attentive and fast , the seating in the booth was comfy, the restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, the AC was working fine. Thanks for breakfast, see you next time, and all the best!

Attractive property with great service and prices for Hilton Honors guests

By 1234texas |

This is a good restaurant with a little be of atmosphere, but not a fine dining establishment--nice, but not elegant. The food and service were up to standards and we enjoyed our meals. The fact that Hilton Honors members get a 25% discount is not shabby. We really liked that touch!

Food was so so

By Don M |

Went there for dinner and ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. The calamari appetizer we had was some of the best we have ever had. Melted in our mouths. The lobster cake was excellent also. However when we got our entrees, my wife ordered the baked gnocchis, and I ordered a pasta dish. When my wife got her dish it was nothing but a bowl of mush that made her sick and my pasta dish gave me heartburn really bad. After my wife went bake to the room, they did take off the baked gnocchi off our bill but not mine. Cost us $71 and would not go there again unless all I wanted was the appetizers

A Nice Breakfast Buffet at the Airport

By The_Loup_Garou |

In February, we dined at Andiamo, in the Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel, for breakfast. I think that we had stayed at that hotel a dozen times, before we ever got the opportunity to dine there, as we always had very early flights out, and normally stayed at that hotel, due to proximity to the airport. It was not until fairly recently, that we had the opportunity to do more than walk past Andiamo. On this visit, we were just driving into downtown Chicago, after a business dinner at the hotel, so we had time for breakfast - no early flight for us on this trip. Now, several Hilton hotels, and especially near airports, have Andiamo Restaurants. LAX and ATL spring immediately to mind. While there is a bit of a formula, each is autonomous, and different in a few ways. This Andiamo has one of the more extensive buffet breakfasts, that we have encountered. On our first visit, we did order off of the menu, as we are not really buffet fans, until on a later visit, our server really suggested that we try the buffet - we have now done that twice, and this, our second visit, was still very good. The breakfast offerings are quite extensive, and we did: Eggs to order Bacon Toast Pastries Smoothie Coffee Juices The venue is quite large, and tables well-spaced, plus with some room partitions, one feels as though they are in a private dining area - plus, just at the entrance to the restaurant from the hotel’s lobby, there IS a private dining room, which was occupied by a business breakfast on this morning. Service, as always, was very good, and quite friendly. We were seated, dined, and were out in enough time to catch our car, heading into the city, so very efficient, even though our schedule was a bit more relaxed, than it usually is. We will be returning.

Solid Dinner Choice

By Mark P |

I had a pretty good dinner at Andiamo. The service was very good and quick, the food was good, prices were reasonable and the setting was fine.

Dining at the Andiamo

By Golf7799 |

Had a reservation for 4 on a Saturday evening. Wine choices were really very good. Personally I had the Risotto, and it was excellent! Everything is a la carte, so there is no way a person could eat here and get out for less than $50 pp. But the wait staff was terrific and we enjoyed our dining experience there. Yes, we would go back.

Lack of service

By Donnie3217 |

Unfortunately there's not a lot of options here at the hotel I don't think the food itself is that bad it's OK it's extremely overpriced for what you get and you add that to the very poor customer service i'm sorry that all of the servers hate their jobs but it is their job and they should do it with a smile and be polite I was just there less than an hour ago even though the waiter walked by the table multiple times I literally had to beg to get a refill he brought out frozen butter for the bread never once did he smile never once did he say thank you or you're welcome as you can guess I didn't leave a tip I know servers don't make a lot of money but you still have to do your job if you expect to get a tip in my opinion

Very Disappointing for a High End Hotel Restaurant

By SwissMr |

I visited for a business breakfast. The location was outstanding, since Andiamo is located in the Hilton, O'Hare International. The positives stop there. I arrived to an empty Host/Hostess stand in the restaurant lobby. The Host was off to the side speaking on a cell phone. I waited approximately five minutes to get his attention. I informed him I was expecting a guest, gave him my name and my guests name. He seated me, with out any kind greeting and continued to talk on a cell phone. After sitting for ten minutes, I noticed he sat my guest at the other end of the restaurant. I can't imagine how long that COULD have been, had I not noticed. Poor attention to any kind of guest detail. Restaurant was very loud and staff very disorganized. Food was on par with any other breakfast one would enjoy at any other restaurnt in town, however the prices were ridiculous. Insulting was, the restaurant was advertised as complimentary parking for restaurant patrons. I come to find out this is only a DISCOUNT on airport Parking. Two hours later I have to track down an employee to get parking validation. My parking cost $14 dollars in addition to a $55.00 breakfast and a $8.00 gratuity. All that combined with poor service and avergage breakfast fare. Seems like a lot of money for two omelettes, two coffee and one OJ. You be the judge if the price and poor service does not offend you.

Great breakfast buffet

By AKW52245 |

The restaurant is great for an early breakfast buffet. You can also order an omelette or other items off the menu. Service is great and many of the waiters have been there for years.

Expensive

By clf51 |

The food is good, but expensive. It has a nice atmosphere but I couldn't get over the price! I ordered ravioli, and the dish was warm, not hot, and there wasn't much of it to warrant the price. The wait staff are first rate though and very friendly and highly efficient.

A pleasant Italian-inspired meal

By SaiKungSilver |

I ordered a caesar salad and an eggplant with pasta. The salad was excellent but the eggplant was served in 6 golf ball sized balls that were mealy lacking much taste. I did have to ask for olive oil & balsamic vinegar for my bread.

better than expected food for an airpor hotel restaurant

By Dutch Brother |

This is one of the best airport hotel restaurants I've been to. But it also has the prices to match (pancakes without a meat side are $18). I had the corned beef hash for breakfast and a grilled Reuben for lunch. Both were excellent. They weren't so overpriced as the breakfast foods. The breakfast buffet is more than $30. Obviously, they are catering to the business expense crowd, not travelers paying their own way. Service was slow but friendly. If you're staying at the Hilton, it is convenient.

Appalling for a Hilton property

By aksam |

We were seated promptly for breakfast, and given menus. A few minutes later, we were brought coffee and water, by someone who was “not our server”. We waited a full twenty minutes, trying to catch the eye of a server... The restaurant was not busy, with at most a quarter of the tables occupied. When we were about ready to walk out, a server finally came over and asked if we had been helped. When I commented that we thought we had been seated at a table not assigned to a server, he replied, “Well, don’t take it personally.” We each ordered a breakfast entree. The waiter then said, “You can help yourselves to the breakfast buffet while you’re waiting, since you had to wait.” We declined this, as we had just both ordered a meal. When our entrees came, the waiter commented to my companion, “Your meal comes with fruit on the side, but you can just go get your own fruit from the buffet.” My flatbread was good, except for the fact that it was completely bland. They must have forgotten to use salt and pepper in the kitchen. My companion said the same thing about his entree. The breakfast potatoes with his entree had something in them that made them very bitter. My companion also made a stop at the restroom while we waited for our meals. He came back very disgusted, stating, “Think gas station rest room, just with a little nicer tile.” I have never had this type of experience at a Hilton property!

A bit oily for pasta

By hardern |

I don't want to know how many calories were in our meals. The house salad is good, but most everything else looked and tasted like it was loaded with butter and/or oil. Good service.

Do Not Rush or Hurry!

By Lee45900 |

Andiamo means rush or hurry up in Italian. You may not want to do that at this wonderful restaurant. I was intrigued by the menu listing of Shrimp Mac and Cheese and my server recommended that I try the dish. It was quite good and the crunchy bits of bacon topped off a tasty combination of cheese, pasta, peas, and various spices. My only complaint was that I had to remove the tails from my shrimp to fully enjoy my meal. My server was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Since the bowl of Shrimp Mac and Cheese was so filling, I opted for a Nutty Irishman rather than some delight from the menu. If you find yourself at the Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel, you should stop by and try this dish or choose something else from the great variety of foods offered.

Good breakfast buffet. Average dinner.

By John F |

I ate here twice while staying at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good. The dinner was average. I had the shrimp with macaroni and cheese. The service was good. It felt like you're in a hotel restaurant.Nothing special about this place. Probably better food than you could get in the adjacent O'Hara airport. Would not seek it out as a place to eat. However, if staying at the Hilton O'Hare airport it's not bad.

Outrageous prices for breakfast

By john m m |

They obviously pretty much have you captive in terms of breakfast if staying at ORD and the Hilton. For an uninspired basic everyday breakfast buffet and coffee two people will spend (with tax) over $80.00!!! Just 3 basic pancakes with no sides including no coffee will cost you over $16.00. It would be one thing if the restaurant was some elegant facility but it is a basic, simple cafeteria. Or perhaps if it was located in Paris but it is way out at ORD with nothing around it. I for sure would not go back

Casual dining at its best

By Rosie K |

We always enjoy eating at the Andiamo while staying at the O’Hare Hilton. This time we had a memorable reunion with friends while sharing two different kinds of flatbread pizza. It was a very comfortable place to visit – a pleasant smoke-free venue with attentive servers. The food is always delicious and the portions more than adequate at the Andiamo. Highly recommended!

Please excuse our service, quality and cleanliness while we are short staffed

By Amita R |

I stopped in for a light breakfast while waiting for my transportation to arrive...and was stunned at how badly this restaurant failed to deliver. It has an ambiance that looks like it is on the 'up scale' side of average. However, I think even Dennys would be embarrassed to provide the type of service they did. 1) Initial server stood leaning on my table with one arm while I placed my order...only to cut me off 1/2 way through to tell me that I could get what I needed at the buffet. Then he walked away in the middle of my drink order to get me a glass of cold water...when if he had waited for me to complete my sentence he would have heard I wanted hot water. 2) The silverware was smudged...like it had been rubbed clean with someone's fingers after washing. Yuck. Both mugs at my 2-person table had multiple coffee rings that I could pick off with a fork. Gross. 3) When my hot water did arrive, it smelled funny as I poured it into the replacement mug. And it tasted like coffee. Really? 4) While pouring hot water from the carafe, it came out surprisingly quickly and spilled on the table. Instead of asking if I burned myself or was okay, the new server asked me in a surprised voice "Did you spill this water?!" Seriously. Seriously? 5) It was then that I noticed how worn everything in this place was. From the tables and chairs to the plates and glasses. 'Classiness' was just a facade. This place was just downright drab. When the bill came, the pocket to place the credit card was ripped on 2 sides so my card just dangled precariously inside as the server came to get it. This is a petty point. My point is that this place is posing as a high end hotel restaurant, when in fact it is anything but. 6) When I asked to speak with a manager after I paid my bill, the hostess said in a weary voice "you want to speak to a manager right now?" (it was 10 AM!! not the middle of the night or something). So I told her my concerns. She basically made it sound like a) she'd heard this many times before and b) explained to me that they are short staffed and that it is hard for the servers to keep up with the number of tables that the restaurant could seat. The would be a valid point, except, there were only 5 or 6 other tables being served while I was there. To her credit, she asked "Is there anything that I can do to make you feel better about this experience? Can I buy you a coffee? Can I refund you your bill?" The thing is, I had already consumed my breakfast...it didn't feel right to get a refund. And I dont drink coffee and didn't want anything from the cafe down the hallway. I had to get to my transportation. Also...the fact that she had to ASK if I wanted a refund made me feel like maybe she thought I was only complaining so I could get a refund...as opposed to convey to her just how poorly that restaurant was running. If she really wanted to make me feel differently, she would have a) let me talk to a manager b) at least taken notes when I was complaining and c) had gift cards or something ready to just give out so I dont have to sit there while she credits me the cost of consumed breakfast. Really lame. Not impressed. Not going back.

Pricey, but very good

By Ron B |

I had breakfast and lunch here during a business day trip and was very pleased. The prices are a bit high, but the food was very good and the portions were very generous. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing as well.

Dinner

By Bustrav8585 |

Stayed at the hotel and enjoyed dinner by myself. Had a tasty appetizer, a good dinner, and a dessert. Overall, a good to mid range dinner and taste was above average. Staff was excellent which always helps:)

Great Breakfast

By AA7364 |

My wife and I ate here before leaving the hotel for our morning flight. We both ordered off the menu (did not do the buffet). I had an omelet and my wife had the pancakes. Both of the items that we ordered were great. I was a little surprised because the food at hotels is really hit or miss. Our waiter was attentive, even though he seemed a little stressed out, seeing as he had almost every table in the restaurant to wait on. The prices are high, but what do people expect from a hotel that is connected to an airport? If you stay and eat there, in my opinion, you do so because of the convenience. We have already made reservations at the hotel for another trip, and we will be eating here again. Overall, great experience, especially for a hotel.

Pretty Mediocre.

By benl |

It looks like a pretty nice quality restaurant. The salad was pretty mediocre and I didn't end up ordering dinner. (Sent the salad back and I rarely send food back.) Total bill for Salad and Drink is $33.70 plus tip. Hopefully my mini-bar still has some cookies.

Over-rated, Over-priced, Under-fed

By Larry S |

I was staying at this hotel for meetings and Andiamo is in the hotel. Food is average but overpriced, Grilled salmon was $ 30.00. The salmon was a slice about 1 inch wide. It was the smallest piece of salmon I have ever been served in any restaurant.

Wonderful evening and meal

By orth1 |

Airport hotel restaurants are not always great, but this one is very good and enjoyable. My wife and I were treated exceptionally well, the room was busy but still intimate, and the wait staff were wonderful. Our waiter was from the Middle East and his attention to our dietary needs was very much appreciated. The bread provided was excellent, the salads used fresh local ingredients, and the chicken and fish dishes we ordered were very nicely prepared, not at all dry but very tasty. Careful attention was given to preparation and serving. Good choice for us.

Way overpriced.

We didn't have a choice. My travel companion had a sprained foot and we waited for almost two days before being able to board a plane. So we had to eat at the only restaurant at the airport...which happens to be this one. The description on the menu doesn't actually match what you get on the plate at times. For instance, the roasted veggies and potato that come with the salmon are 5 or 6 very small and mainly raw (try eating raw brussel sprouts), with no potato in sight. The menu made it look like you get a lot of veggies, and also potatoes. There is a teaspoon (no kidding) of what looks like sauce under the veggies, and that is the potato. The very small portion of salmon that came with this entire meal, which we paid 30 dollars for, was nicely cooked, and the cole slaw that was supposed to come with it was literally (I counted) 3 shoestring pieces of carrot, one tiny string of cabbage and two small pieces of tinned tangerine. No way should anyone pay 30 dollars for this plate. It was Atlantic salmon, farm raised, and sells for 8 or less dollars a pound in the store. I could not cut through the large sprout with my very sharp knife and asked for it to be taken back and cooked. On the plus side, the staff are very friendly, the ambiance is acceptable, the bread was fine. Very expensive wine at 13 dollars a glass. I gave this restaurant a rating of two stars because they need to do something to fix the problem of poorly cooked plates of food and alter the descriptions on their dinner menu. We didn't order the burger side of the menu, so I can't speak for that. Perhaps it is best to stick with that. We did try their regular sweet potato soup, which was fine, but again, it said it comes with creme fresh and goat cheese, and yes, there was a teaspoon in the center of the soup. Perhaps its best to take the dinner menu items off the menu and stick with more of a sports bar approach!

Disturbingly, Shockingly Horrible Experience

By Chaptak |

Okay, let me take a few moments to stop fuming... Good. Here we go. Four of us stopped by Andiamo for a late lunch before a business meeting at the Hilton. We arrived at 2PM. Our meeting was at 3PM. I think it was around 2:20PM when we finally got enough attention to place our order. At around 2:40PM we started to get worried about making it to our meeting on time. That led to questions. At around 2:45PM the "food" arrived. The "food" is in quotation marks for a reason. Just the memory of "grilled chicken" that was an add-on to salads... brrrrrh! Cold, bland, tasteless something -- added in plentiful quantity to whatever. Then there were chunks of marinated artichokes -- in my Caesar Salad! I did not know artichokes were an ingredient in that dish. We barely had a chance to taste the "prosciutto flatbread" -- we were almost late at that point. But that was a good thing: that dish looked like a sad combination of whatever the kitchen scraped off leftover plates. I have no idea what Andiamo served us, but it sure wasn't restarant-quality food. Ouch! None of us would even consider eating at Andiamo ever again.

Trapped travelers endure mediocre food and poor service at premium price

By CWSMuse |

Only people who have absolutely no other dining choice find themselves at Andiamo. Waiting for a late flight to arrive, I took a business client to dinner. There was a language barrier with our server, but that doesn't begin to explain his complete ignorance of Gluten free. We navigated the menu nonetheless. The chicken dish was overcooked and dry. If you must eat at the Hilton, I recommend eating pub food in the bar.

Excellent Food

By Techyling |

After flight delays, it was refreshing to have great quality dining. If there are two things I can recommend, it would be the pumpkin soup and their Tiramisu. I'm sure there is plenty more to discover but these two dishes were the highlight of my day. The restaurant is also part of the Hilton at Chicago O'Hare, which made it a convenient spot to dine at during an overnight stay at the Hilton. Was truly delicious and memorable :)

Skip this restaurant

By Michael G |

Awful food, service sucks too. Extremely over-priced because there is no where else to go once you walk out of the airport.

Surprisingly Average

By DRLand |

Even though it is a hotel restaurant I expected more. It had the look and feel of an upscale restaurant as we walked up to it but once seated it seemed like just another place. The menu selections were very limited. It’s rare when my wife and I can’t find a single appetizer that looks promising and the entrees were equally uninspiring. The wine list is below par. After a cocktail at the adjoining sports bar and a mid-priced bottle of wine we still managed to spend nearly two hundred bills. For that price, I expect something a little special. Service was adequate.

Good breakfast was had...

By Srsuerte |

Usually you don't find good food in hotels or at airports...but I think Andiamos is the premier place at OHare Airport to meet someone flying in or out. I was catching a friend on a layover between flights and it was hard to find a full service restaurant in the non secured areas of the airport. Andiamo at the Hilton Hotel ended up being a great option on a Sunday late morning. We both elected to have "brunch"...and both breakfast or lunch menus were available at 11AM. The atmosphere and service was very good. I had an omelet which was very nicely done and tasty. Bloody Mary was available after noon I believe. Must be some prehistoric moronic law...so we had one at the crack of noon. Its not a cheap place, but what airport/hotel restaurants are? Between this place and the Gaslight club on the other side of the checkin area of the Hotel, the Hilton is the place to meet at the Chicago airport.

Very good bar food and cocktails

By Cush2799 |

Again, similar to hotel staff, you will find very helpful and kind workers. Very good portions for the price. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast here. Above average hotel restaurant.

Very nice, very convenient

By cmhprh |

Andiamo is the in-house restaurant at the O'Hare Hilton. I had a group function at the hotel, and we had dinner one evening at Andiamo, and put the tab on the master account, so that's very convenient. Andiamo is, of course, an Italian restaurant. The menu is not overly extensive; it's not skimpy, by any means, but it doesn't overwhelm. There are antipasti, pasta, and secondo (meats) on the menu. I had the buffalo raviolini -- buffalo milk cheese raviolo, with a light tomato sauce. Very nice! My group was in a private room; there is bar seating, as well as a variety of booths and tables. If you're at the O'Hare Hilton, this is a fine way to spend an evening!

Good for meetings

By SupperLenny |

Business meeting and lunch. Not too noisy. Good food quality. Easy walk from ORD out of baggage claim and past then just past the subway.

Only if you have no other options

By Christina E |

The spaghetti and meatballs were good but the wait was unbelievable! Almost 40 minutes. I seem to recall the same problem a few years ago. How hard is it to put two meatballs and sauce on a plate?

Pretty good but expensive

By ingedino |

Decent breakfast buffet. The blueberry scones were amazing! Not so good on the coffee, but the quality of the food was pretty good, but too expensive. Service was just below average.

Great food

By Melanie S |

Loved the Dover sole! Excellent desert. Didn't care much for the beet salad. My colleague had the turkey Portobello mushroom burger and she loved it.

Sports Bar @ FUN

By Kris R |

Best Sports Bar to visit in Hilton OHare Chicago inside Airport Vicinity for a Drink with some sport activity

Best in the area

By Aliceesjan |

Nice restaurant, no fancy dinner but good choice of different meals when you have travelled. we stayed at the Hilton O'Hare and had dinner, everything was ok. Not much else around except for fastfood at terminal 5. This is definitely a better choice.

Average Entree

By Scott C |

This location is convenient enough, and they have a very active bar area with multiple televisions. The Andiamo salad was very good with a sweet poppy seed dressing. The main dish was a shrimp entree with pasta and red sauce. The sauce was bland and the pasta was over cooked. My colleague's ordered Flatbread and another pasta dish, which they enjoyed, so perhaps my experience was unique.

Andiamo

By jimwarren2017 |

So convenient. Located inside the Hilton O'Hare. A little pricey but very convenient. Great desserts. Great coffee and tea selections. Very good wine.

I was so surprised but I loved this restaurant!

By VFJ79 |

Stuck at O'Hare again, I had dinner at Andiamo twice last week and had delicious food and attentive service both times. On Monday, the restaurant was empty, the spaghetti and meatballs and pear daiquiri were delectable and my server kindly suggested I should go back to my room and get all my airline coupons before paying. On Wednesday, the restaurant was jam-packed. I had a spectacular watermelon salad and some really delicious chicken. The service was a little bit slow due to the crowd, but my waitress was thoughtful and I had a lovely meal anyway. Thanks, Andiamo, you made a tough trip a little more pleasant!

Too salty

By Aaron Levene |

Hot dog so salty it was close to inedible. Soft fried onions. Grape tomatoes made dog impossible to eat without toppings falling out. Has to resort to knife and fork. Good service and other diners looking happy earns the 3 stars

Average and pricy food

By Tineke07 |

Due to layover we got stuck in the Hilton. We had vouchers for dinner and used them here. The food is very much overpriced and average quality. We had the pasta with shrimps: there were a lot of shrimps (that was positive as you don't see that a lot) but they were overcooked and the taste of garlic was too heavy. I found the bread better :-)

Good, but expensive breakfast

By Lungfruit |

While stranded at the Hilton O'Hare we had breakfast here before catching our flight. Surprisingly both of our dishes were very good. The eggs flatbread and fritatta were done right. Yes, it's expensive. This is at the airport, but it's less than room service.

Quality Cuisine -Priced for Location

By WARSAWRUN |

We dined while staying at the O’Hare Hilton, in which the restaurant is located. The Italian cuisine was well presented and our server was attentive, experienced and knowledgeable. Pricing takes advantage of being the only table service dining available in the hotel, or, for that matter, at the entire airport outside of security. We were promptly seated. The house salad was exceptional and even the appetizer portion was generous. One bowl can easily satisfy two diners as a side salad. The dinner portion must be very large. We enjoyed our pasta selections. My wife had a shrimp dish with very nice shrimp. I gad a mixed meat bologna pasta that was very flavorful. Both had pastas that were interesting ... one an extended penne and the other a wide, flat pasta. An adjacent bar area was very loud and congested when we arrived. So, those liking a loud bar will enjoy ... those preferring a quieter experience will want to be seated some distance away.

Way average

By Steve S |

The total experience here was nothing better than average. Service was slow. Food was ok. Environment was underwhelming. Bus staff moving dirty dishes through the main of the dining room. Hostess had the personality of toast. Convenient to the hotel with no options. Should consider upgrading the experience.

Great place to eat while at OHare

By Claudetteth |

We had lots of time while in transit at O'Hare in Chicago, so we went to the Hilton to get lunch as we had lots of time. The food was great and about the same price as you pay at dining areas in the airport. We ordered a bottle of wine a burger and a turkey sandwich and the bill came to $90. We sat at a table next to wall plugs and were able to charge our phones while we surfed the free internet. A very pleasant way to put in time at the air port.

Poor service. Overpriced. Average bar food

By stephenpash |

Took forever to get drinks. Longer to get food which was thrown at us without asking if we needed hot sauce mayo etc. Never came back to see if all was well. I had to go to the bar to get a drink. Had to correct the bill. Waitress could not have cared less. Not worth $18 for our Lamb burger.

Disappointing

By Trup |

A group of us having a two-day meeting at the Chicago Hilton O'Hare had a group dinner at Andiamo. After an excellent appetizer (cauliflower dish), I ordered their steak which I found to be somewhat tough, not very flavorful and, in toto, not quality beef. Dessert was also just mediocre.

Good food but so-so service

By Mary R |

Was at Chicago airport Hilton for two nights, so had dinner and breakfast in this restaurant. Dinner menu was really great, but the server was slow and forgetful. The prices were crazy, too. Breakfast took us so long to get they just comped our food. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.

Worst meal I have ever had!

By lindenhill |

I ordered the rib eye from the dinner menu once we finally got seated and waited on. It was cold, and the worst cut of meat ever. Not even good enough to throw in a bar sandwich. I can't remember what my friend had, but he didn't eat it either. We ordered dinners, didn't get a house salad or potato and it cost over $100.00 for just the 2 of us. My cola from a beverage gun cost $3.50 and my friends beer was $8.00!! They sure take advantage of weary travelers.....

Good place to dine!

By Debbie H |

After a full afternoon walking the streets of Chicago we returned to the hotel for a light meal. We could not decide whether or not we wanted "bar" food or restaurant food. The host at Andiamo was gracious and said we could order off which ever menu we preferred. We ordered off both of them. We had the house and ceasar salad from the regular menu and a pizza from the bar menu - with wine of course. The pizza was delicious, thin & crispy crust and salads were fresh. The dinner staff was great. The next morning we had breakfast in the same restaurant and it was fresh and delicious. The muffins were fresh and fruit was so good. Again the staff was great. In fact during our hotel stay we did not encounter anyone that was rude.

A Nice Surprise

By elswells |

We had a long flight delay which meant we had to spend the night in Chicago, so I booked a room at the Airport Hilton. We went to dinner at Andiamo just because it was there and we were tired, and were pleasantly surprised by our meal. We each had the salad, which was exceptional, and a homemade pasta, also excellent. Service was good and atmosphere was nice. Our big complaint was the price of a bottle of wine: bottom of the list and our wine cost $48. Ordinarily we wouldn't have paid that much, but we were a captive audience that night. Selling that wine for $30 would have still brought them much profit.

Kinda Slow Service

By tnantx |

We had a light meal here after long flights. It took a while to get served and then there were long gaps of service. In fairness we had asked to be seated off to the side a bit as the noise from the hotel bar was excessive. I had soup which was pretty good and daughter had caesar salad. Neither of us were overly hungry but both offerings met our needs. If you are tired and don't want to venture from the hotel it is a perfectly good option. This is also where breakfast is served in the morning. We had oatmeal and bacon. Both were fine for a hotel buffet. The coffee was typical Hilton... so not terribly good. I'm sure when we are back at the Hilton airport we will eat here again as you really can't beat the convenience.

Convenient Place to Eat

By Ken J |

We ate at Andiamo which is about 1/2 block from Chicago O'Hare Airport. The service and food was very good and we were pleased with the convenient location to the airport as there really wasn't any place to eat except for Starbucks once you left the security area.

Pricey, Very Average Quality

By cruiserguy2324 |

Ofcourse, this is an airport location so I wasnt expecting much, but the dishes were very average. This place has a large seating area and large TV Screens. Service was quick, ambiance was decent.

One night at Hilton

By scott v |

Staying at Hilton. Since this is the only bar) restaurant in the hotel came here. Not too bad. Waitress, Maya was right on service. Very friendly. Beer was cold, ordered wings, and watched Monday night football. Pretty relaxing. The wings were ok. These were very large. Not your typical bar wings. So...if your staying here not too shabby of a place to chill.

Great Variety

By LAT11 |

Andiamo has a very diversified menu that has something for everyone. Also offers a nice breakfast buffet.

If you're stuck at O'Hare, this makes it a much better experience.

By NJDad_Neal |

If for some reason my flight is SERIOUSLY delayed and I am hungry, I will make my way to the airport Hilton and eat at this Italian place in the lobby. Why? The food is actually very good. The service is really impeccable. The prices are about the same as you'd pay at the airport, but you're not bombarded with travel announcements, bad lighting, bad background music. This place is QUIET and calm, with very good food. I can relax, eat my meal, have a drink, maybe do a little work.

Expensive, sparse breakfast buffet

By Jski529 |

This place charges insane prices because they know they have a captive audience of business travelers on expense accounts and stranded travelers. I'm okay with high prices if you get high value. The breakfast buffet was very poorly stocked with limited options. The service was friendly but really with a buffet how much service do you really need?

The only option (good enough!) to eat at Chicago O'Hare on the land side

By TKHershey |

I had a layover at Chicago O'Hare (ORD), and met up with family members who live in downtown Chicago. I usually take a Blue line to downtown Chicago to meet them, but due to the well-publicized long queue at the TSA security, we decided to meet up at the land side of the airport, to be safe. Well, we searched quite a bit, but we couldn't find any other restaurants on the land side. We had to eat at Andiamo in Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport. It's basically a sports bar restaurant with extensive menu items. It was a brunch time for us, so we chose a few items on the breakfast menu. We were seated right away. The server was helpful. My tea was great, and the food was fine. It wasn't overly noisy or crowded. It was a bit too dark for me, but that's nitpicking. Overall, Andiamo did the job well, and I think I will continue to use it if we will meet up on the land side of ORD again.

So you're tired and just want something to eat

By JoRoOmaha |

Probably like other guests I'd gotten here I bit too tired, a bit cranky and only somewhat hungry. I had their fig porchetta flatbread which tasted good, was perfect in that it was a nice light meal. My server was attentive. Beers came in two sizes so I only ordered one. This was a decent meal for a decent price. The place is noisy because it's by the hotel bar. I'm going to sleep now...

Limited Menu, But Well Done!

By JustECOSM |

I had dinner with a party of 10 at Andiamo on August 25, 2016 at The Hilton Chicago O'Hare. It is an expansive dining room with at least 1 private room that could accommodate approx. 20 people. It is a little noisy, but still well-appointed, comfortable and well-lit. The menu has 12 appetizers, 6 pasta dishes & 4 other entrees (beef, chicken & salmon). Our entire party praised their meals. We shared 3 outstanding appetizers (calamari, flat bread bruschetta & sun-dried tomatoes w/melted goat cheese). My entrée was Frutti de Mare (shrimp, calamari, clams, mussels & scallops over squid ink homemade pasta) & it was to die for! There was a great wine list, but no was drinking. There was also a nice dessert menu & several had Tiramisu which looked scrumptious. The service was a little slow, but effective.

So so and slow

By Meriontulips |

Despite the lovely decor and a promising menu, the food is lack luster and the service at dinner is SLOW. It took 40 minutes for me to get a house salad. When the salad arrived, the lettuce was wilted and the dressing was overly sweet. My dinner arrived in a reasonable amount of time but was not so good. For the main course, I had the salmon over a roasted potato with sweet potato drizzle. The salmon was fine but the potato was grey, mushy and without flavor. It took another 20 minutes to get the bill after requested... Glad I was not trying to catch a flight. I left thinking that I would have spent less money, had a better meal and wasted less time if I had eaten dinner at one of the restaurants in the airport.

A nice place for bite of lunch

By GradingMachine |

While waiting for my wife to fly in from Philly, I had lunch at Andiamo. It was a pretty good if very overpriced chicken salad with some lettuce that has seen better days. I will say that the chicken was excellent. It was also nice to have free wifi, so I could relax, eat, and check email while I waited. The servers are attentive.

Good but not the best breakfast I had at Hilton Hotels

By egnani |

I had a breakfast buffet that was included in the room rate. The food was good, however the selection was not large as I experienced in other Hilton hotels. The staff was very friendly, but they should refill more frequently the buffet. I asked milk for cereals two or three times, but not milk available for all the time I spent for breakfast.

Average Hotel Food Experience

By mspreh |

I was dropped off at the Hilton so I could catch a flight very early the next morning. I checked in, came down to check out my food options. Andiamo is one of 3 options at the O'Hare Hilton (another restaurant/lounge and a cafe). However Andiamo really has 2 options, the restaurant or the bar, they have different menus. I chose the bar after looking at both. The food was pretty good, not good enough to come here if you aren't staying at the hotel, but it still was pretty good. Had a burger, it was done well, and the server was efficient, didn't seem to be the friendliest, but that might be because she had a lot of tables to cover.

Fantastic

By Aron W |

I was really amazed at how great the food and service was. The Hilton is nice but I didn't expect to have such a great meal here. I ordered the muscles for an appetizer which came with a free glass of wine (any app comes with wine if you also get an entree) which saves you about $10. The muscles were great and te bread that was brought was good too. I then ordered the frutti do mare pasta and was thrilled at all the seafood and the variety. It was one of the best I've ever had. I saw some other tables eating some great looking dishes too. The atmosphere is nice and fancy but still had a somewhat casual and welcoming feel. The service was great too. I can't wait to go back when I'm in Chicago and staying at the Hilton.

$17 burgers!

By lemon737 |

Service was good. Food just OK, my side salad was a bit tired and the house dressing rather sweet. My Mediterranian chicken panini was soggy on bottom, husband's burger was good. Add two iced teas and our tab with tip was $50. (not a type!)

It's not bad

By Grace C |

Overall the food is not bad, even though the soup I had (some sort of veggie bean soup, if I remember correctly) was a bit salty. The price is not low, but hey, it's in Chicago.
