Stayed at the hotel last night and had dinner at Andiamo. Memorable in terms of the inverse relationship between the price and the quality of the food. The beet salad with goat cheese was bland, the goat cheese rubbery. The veal piccata was chewy (not in a good way) and the dessert (pine nut tart with coffee ice cream and caramel syrup) was at best unremarkable. They seem to adhere to theory that quantity equals quality, which is why perhaps they think they can charge ridiculous amounts of money for mediocre food. I should have gone with my gut and walked around the corner to Carl's Jr for a burger and fries. Would have been a better and less costly experience.

Expensive Breakfast

By Nancy B |

The breakfast buffet is not worth the price. Entire breakfast menu is overpriced. Suggest you eat breakfast elsewhere.

Dinner only, after 5pm

By Double "Ollie" Winner |

This is the upscale restaurant in the Hilton, on the right of the lobby as you enter the property. Imho, it's overpriced (like all the upscale hotel restaurants on Century), e.g. $24 cheeseburger, $27 spaghetti. Friendly service, and average food. The place was empty when I went there...wonder why.

Enjoyable dinner, great service

By David R |

We kept it simple the night we stayed over at LAX and chose to eat at Andiamo. It was a Sunday so fairly quiet but we had a good meal and I'd recommend.

Don't bother

By Horse2016 |

The cioppino my husband was absolutely terrible. It had mostly calamari which tasted like rubber bands. We did mention this to our waiter but after a long day, we just wanted to eat quickly and go to our room so we didn't request the manager. The wine we ordered at this restaurant and the other one in the hotel were certainly not worth the $15.00. They were more like house wines so we were also disappointed in them as well. I did call the food and beverage manager when we arrived in Hawaii but got no response.

Worst meal of my entire vacation

By GailCooks |

Where to start? You don't make Italian food by putting roasted red peppers in ever dish. I ordered the "GRILLED balsamic marinated artichoke appetizer with garlic caper aioli", and it is obvious that they didn't have any prepped. After 30 minutes (and B had received and eaten his salad) the waiter came by the table to say it would be a 'few more minutes.' When it arrived, it was still crunchy ...not good for an artichoke. I have no idea how they cooked it; there were no grill marks, & a half-hour in a steamer would have cooked artichokes that small. There was a drizzle of balsamic glaze over the top, and the cavity where the 'choke' was removed was filled with...you guessed it...Roasted Red Peppers, which I detest; they overpower the flavor of everything. The 'garlic caper aioli' was simply mayo mixed with Dijon. SERIOUSLY?!? Why did they even bother to serve it to me? B didn't rave over the Spaghetti Bolognaise, and my Scampi Diavola was bland & served over watery mashed potatoes. The server was inattentive at best. It was an overall terrible experience and we will not return. Olive Garden has better Italian food.

Pleasant and relaxing!

By Kerry S |

When dealing with traffic it was nice to be able to get to the hotel and not need to get back out in the car. We enjoyed the sampler plate as the appetizer and ate the entire thing since we were very hungry. Sea bass was the main course and a cherry chocolate mousse for dessert.

Excellent Cuisine

By Traveler1959-123 |

Very good Italian menu with pasta and non-past dishes. Great variety of quality menu offerings. I had the Italian sausage stuffed trout, and it was a great choice.

Embarrassing

By picsteve |

I am furious, embarrassed and hungry...still. I made a reservation at Andiamo restaurant in the LAX Hilton for 7:00. The hostess was polite and seated me early, as the restaurant was not busy at the time. I was seated then ignored for 25 minutes. This while several couples were seated and attended to. Literally right in front of my face I watched the next table from me asked by both waiters what they needed, poured water, even had time to serve them drinks from the bar. I realize when I made reservations, it's Valentine's Day and it's awkward enough eating alone while out of town on business (while my wife is home in Seattle alone). People that complain a lot usually say "I never complain" but I seriously never do, until now. I hope this rudeness doesn't sit well with management. The names of the waiters (as I was close enough to read their name tags!) were Wilfredo and William. I’ve reviewed many restaurants and all are at least good reviews 3-5 star. The Hilton should be embarrassed of this rude service.

Excellent fillet

By rod g |

Dined here with some friends. Stayed in house do it was convenient. Make sure you book as this place is busy. Ordered the French onion soup and the fillet steak. The soup was fine but the steak was outstanding which surprised me. Decor is nothing special but the food and service was great.

Hidden Gem

By ORTHON |

Not so hard to eat here because you can get a three hour free validated parking from the valets outside the Hilton Hotel. Pricey food, but worth it for the flawless service, and taste and presentation of dishes.

Excellent fish soup

By waiake1 |

We had a wonderful time here. The food was excellent and the service quite attentive. There was good wine and a calming atmosphere.

Top food in the LAX Hilton

By OziDiver |

This is the #1 restaurant in the popular LAX Hilton. It is not cheap, by hotel standards, but the food is quite good. Most of the patrons are people coming or going from LAX, so they are generally not mobile and come here for a quick bite and drink. They have some good wines and the menu is all Italian. Service here is very good. The Hilton offers valet parking also. Pricey but good quality.

Great food and service

By Janis I |

Loved the convenience of having such a good restaurant in the hotel. Service was outstanding. Prices not too bad either which was surprising.

Very good lunch

By MistyLS |

My husband and I ate lunch here while staying at the hilton. We had quick and friendly service. The lobster tacos and Lucy were very good. This place was more than what I excepted from a hotel restaurants. The food and service were very good.

Average hotel restaraunt

By Jason L |

Nothing exciting about this hotel restaurant but it does serve its purpose. Order was wrong, food was average and overall appearance of restaurant was somewhat sloppy.

Average

By Sindbad2007 |

Over priced for the experience and food offered. Nothing spectacular. Limited menu options. If cannot go anywhere else, try the bar, which has the food prepared by Andiamo kitchen.

Very good

By gslowry |

Service was just as you would expect from a high end restaurant. The wait staff was excellent and the food portions large.

Andiamo Italian Cuisine

By Jennifer O |

We are staying at a nearby hotel and there isn’t a restaurant at our hotel. We wanted Italian, so we asked for a recommendation from the check in clerk and she handed us a piece of paper with a list of nearby places and we randomly chose this one. I really wanted Fettuccine Alfredo but it wasn’t on the menu. I asked for it and they made it for me! It was delicious, I could tell it was homemade, and there were yummy grilled vegetables inside. My friend had the scallops and she loved them! We all loved the bread! The service was really good, too. If you find yourself at LAX for an overnight stay, this place is excellent. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I think the prices are a little too far up there.

Just about right

By Budmanri |

Pleasant surprise, nice atmosphere not over the top but just about right. We had our grandchildren that night and it worked out fine and there was also many other children must’ve been some event going on decent wine list. We had the cioppino was very good. Also, the Caesar salad was good at the kids menu also which was good. I would recommend this restaurant.

wonderful kitchen, never expected in an airport hotel

Good food and great service at Andiamo

By Charmain D |

I dined here twice while staying at the hotel. The first time was for the breakfast buffet and the 2nd was for the salad bar with soup in the afternoon. I enjoyed the meal on both occasions. The dining room is nice. The atmosphere is good.

Good Italian food, slightly overpriced. Leaks from the ceiling.

By Eric Tabet |

One last dinner before our plane on the next morning. Had the surprised to be welcomed at this Italian restaurant serving very decent pasta (not overcooked, unexpectedly). Nice steaks as well. Unluckily the bill is slightly above what you would expect, and some renovation is required as per the leaks from the ceiling and moldy areas which made us change tables.

gnocchi, and spaghetti dishes not eatable

By Michael C |

Food was terrible, We ordered 2 soups, they were eatable, because we were hungry. Our main order was gnocchi, and the other person ordered spaghetti bolognese. These are dishes that are hard to mess up. But they did, Gnocchi was dry, and ..., the spaghetti was also terrible. After tasting, and disappointed, we asked for the check! I have traveled to Vegas for the past 20+ years for a convention. Our favorite restaurant has been Andiamo. The food was always excellent, and the people we brought with us were always very well satisfied with our choice. I did not expect Vegas Andiamo, but what passed as food was not.

This Hotel Shopped is Well Stocked

By Uncommon R |

Anything you need they have, and whatever they don't have, they're happy to help you get it. They are very friendly here.

andiamo food

By Michael C |

Having traveled to Vegas for the past 30+ years. One of the perks was dining where the food was excellent. I'm refereeing to Andiamo at the Hilton. I did not expect the same, but yet not what was presented as food. I was there for the Grand Prix, in Long Beach, and could have stayed anywhere. There were two of us, and we chose, gnocchi, and spaghetti bolognese. The gnocchi were dry, and tasteless. The spaghetti, was also tasteless. It could have been a bad day for the chef, but poor excuse for food. Needless to say it was not eaten, and asked for the check.

Avoid

By Jill P |

Previously served good food, now not acceptable, very friendly wait staff. Spaghetti Bolognaise was bland and tasteless

Better than average, not your typical "hotel food".

By Flyinlow427vette |

Good menu choices with options that include non-pasta. Service was quick and overall this was a convenient dining option while staying at the Hilton.

Nice but spendy

By traveloften028 |

This is a hotel restaurant at the Hilton LAX. As such and being a mostly captive audience, you can expect your entrée to be $10 more than it should be. Having said that, I was with a party of 3 who all enjoyed their meals. Mine as a Salmon dish that was nicely done. Others had pasta and enjoyed them. Good meals despite having no real choices unless we wanted to taxi out.

Better than most hotel restaurants

By Brian W |

I had a business meeting here and ended up enjoying the ambience and the food. The staff was very accommodating and found us a quiet table. I ordered two items that weren't on the menu and they prepared both of them for me. This is remarkable and was much appreciated. I had the Veal Chop and it was cooked perfectly and accompanied by very tasty sautéed vegetables. The wine selection was pretty good and I would not hesitate to eat here again.

Need some improvements!

By GladisCosta |

This restaurant is located at Hilton LAX Airport. I was too tired to look for another place to eat. Eating at the hotel was very convenient. I was reading some comments about the restaurant and noticed that some of them were very negative, but decided to go anyway, but I told the waiter that was I worried after reading the reviews. I asked him: What´s going on, so many negative reviews...He said: I don´t know....kind of being aware of that....he just sighed....well...I understand...service was not good. Italian food not well done, they just serve and go, forgetting to ask if you need more water, spices.....shame...The restaurant is so pretty!

Nice dinner

By dixiepeach |

This restaurant was conveniently located in the Hilton LAX Hotel. The service was great. We enjoyed the Burrata Caprese salad. The halibut was overcooked and a bit dry. There was a quiet, calming ambiance in this restaurant.

Restaurants at Hilton LAX

By LAVisitors2016 |

Because there are several restaurants in this hotel you are not supplied with fridges or microwaves. There is a Starbucks along the Cafe, a bagel and coffee was $7, small 10 inch pizza was $16 but it did taste good, Buffalo wings were $18 had a lime seasoning that wasn't good and they slightly Cooked the celery and carrot sticks and That was Nasty, the wings was from Andiamo.

With the stop

By havingfunagain |

Service was friendly and informative. Generous portions. Prices reasonable. I had the 2 meat sauce, veal and beef bolognese with tomato basil soup as a starter. Focaccia with balsamic and oil accompanied. All was very tasty . Stop in.

Inside the Hilton LAX

By icemenhockey31 |

The food tasted good, but it should have for what the cost of it was, very busy but what would you expect at a 1,000 room hotel...

Exceeded expectations for a hotel restaurant

By John S |

I went here twice while staying at the Hilton this week. Once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch, I had the french dip and it was really good. Probably one of the better french dips I have ever had. For dinner, I went with a friend and it was also pretty good. We both had pasta.

Delicious Italian Food

By Tan Q |

It is a nice italian restaurant in Hilton LAX. The food is traditional Italian food is delicious, and my family quite enjoy it.

breakfast for two

By Bruce B |

my wife and i had the buffet breakfast, i did think it was a tad expensive, but it does include eggs the way you want them including omeletes, the coffee was good, not great, just good. the down side was that the coffee cup was dirty and needed replacing, the juice glass was dirty and needed replacing. these were washed but not clean. the staff were pleasant.

Suprisingly Good Hotel Restaurant

By No_Fixed_Address |

At the Hilton for a brief overnight stay, we didn't want to leave the property and ventured into Andiamo with some trepidation for an early dinner. The atmosphere was pleasant, even if somewhat marred by a diner across the room who conducted a lengthy and loud video call with some female. Fortunately she eventually finished her call and departed. We shared a calamari appetizer and each had a pasta main dish. Everything was more than acceptable. In fact, it was quite delicious. Our waiter, Wilfredo, and his assistant, were friendly, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the dinner much more than we'd anticipated, and we'll try Andiamo again the next time we stay here.

Excellent

By Theresa M |

Bread was served with sundried copped tomatoes, olive oil and an olive tapanade. The waiter was knowledgable and wanted us to know the calamari was not fried. The calamari was really good. The spiciness from the jalapenos was a good mix with the white beans. The jalapeno chunks were such that you could control the heat. Next was the main course of Sea bass and seafood pasta. Both were excellent. The bass was perfectly cooked

OK when staying at the hotel

By 362williamj |

Had dinner here while staying at the LAX Hilton before an early morning flight. THis area does not have many other restaurants within walking distance, and all seemed overpriced when we looked at menus online. Being tired, we just decided to go downstairs to Andiamo. The restaurant itself is nothing special - I can't imagine going there unless you were in the area. But it did the job - as long as you don't expect 5 star food you will do fine. The Bourbon Chicken was filling - the accompanying bread was the best part of the meal.

Excellent but expensive

By Makkitje |

Italian cuisine with very tasty dishes. The food is served hot and perfect. The atmosphere in the restaurant is as it should be: not noisy! Only the beer is not served in accordance with the rules: the foam is completely absent and the beer glass was filled to the top edge. Unattractive !

Quick Meal at Hotel Proved to be Great

By Bruce H |

We had a quick dinner at Andiamo, needing to get some rest before an early flight at LAX the next morning. I had a waygu burger on a pretzel bun which was very tasty, along with wedge fries, while my wife had some really big scallops. Enjoyed it a lot, without having to leave the hotel.

Adequate portions, affordable prices

By DGfromDallas |

It is a standard urban Hilton Hotel restaurant. The theme is Northern Italian and its menu is thus. The food was good, the service a bit slow because it was understaffed due to a corporate meeting in the hotel. It was overall a good experience, and the prices and portions were a good match.

Breakfast buffet

By T G |

Breakfast buffets are pretty much the same in every city, but this particular one had some interesting choices. The one I liked the most was chow mein. I've never had that for breakfast, so it was different. The servers came around often to make sure we were well taken care of. The price wasn't too bad compared to the regular one choice item, but there are many other places around the airport. It's just very convenient.

Super hotel meal.......

By Mountainduo |

Wonderful menu in a nicely decorated restaurant in the Hilton, Los Angeles Airport hotel. The atmosphere was nice, and the waiters were wonderful, friendly and courteous. The food was so good that it broke my heart to have to leave the leftovers...... this is a definite stop for us every time we are in LA from now on.....

Fabulous Italian Food

By DaytonDiva_13 |

Chose this restaurant upon the recommendation of a Hilton check-in agent. Hubby and I were most satisfied with our meal. My linguini and clams were yummy--fresh, favorable and prepared to perfection. Hubby really enjoyed his piccata di scaloppini. We ended our dinner with a coffee ice cream pine nut tart. Wait staff was attentive and accommodating. Room and decor beautifully designed and furnished. A bit pricey but well worth the expense. Best Italian food we've eaten in years, including our 2014 trip to Italy! Needless to say this experience far exceeded our expectations. Who would think that a chain hotel would provide a restaurant of this quality? We will definitely return if given the opportunity.

Don't. Just avoid it.

By juanj325 |

The food is overpriced and the service is mediocre. For breakfast you pay Hilton prices for Denny's breakfast. Not worth it.

excellent choice for hotel dining

By hotelmavin |

hotel food can get boring and limited. with a breakast and lunch buffet, I could eat healthy or decadent at the same time. for $22 brunch had delicious soup, lots of cooked vegetables, fish, chicken and steak, rolls, sweets, fresh fruits, ambrosia, salads bar, and drinks. waite staff is attentive and my dishes where cleared almost before I was done eating. really enjoyed the selection, price, and hot was hot, cold was cold, and all of it fresh!

Decent food, a bit overpriced

By Catherine B |

I had a salad, drink, and main course and spent nearly 100 bucks. The food was tasty--northern Italian inspired. I had braised lamb shank and it was well prepared. The alcohol seemed a bit expensive, but typical for a hotel restaurant/bar.

Not great.

By Flyntexn |

They try to be high end. But they fall short. Cioppino was a really bland tomato soup with a package of frozen seafood thrown in. No flavor whatsoever. But they think it’s worth $45. The wait staff is attentive and efficient. It’s just the food that doesn’t rise to being what they think they are. A new chef might be a good step.

Very Good for an Airport Hotel Restaurant

By The_Loup_Garou |

We have stayed at many Hilton airport hotels, and have dined at Andiamo, at several: ORD, ATL and a few more. We had also dined at Andiamo, at the Hilton LAX Airport hotel, several times in the past, though not recently. In January, my wife had a brief meeting at the Hilton LAX, where we were staying, and we booked Andiamo there (third meal there, if I am recalling correctly). First, the restaurant is open to the lovely lobby of this hotel, and though we did not have the ultimate table (had that before, with a full view of the lobby, and the double staircase), we were comfortable. We were promptly seated, and presented with the menus and the wine list (short, but I found something of interest), and we relaxed - my wife’s meeting had gone well. We began with the Cipriani Carpaccio - Piedmont region classic appetizer dish of thinly sliced grass-fed beef tenderloin, savory Grana Padano, shallots, pickled capers, crispy crostini, Italian bold smoked olive oil - This was a great starter dish! Fried Calamari - lightly seasoned battered squid, seasoned Italian marinara and Mediterranean caper aioli with fresh herbs - For an airport hotel restaurant, this was a very good dish. For our Main Courses, we chose: Sea Bass - pan seared European sea bass is an iconic Mediterranean fish lightly seasoned with lemon and herbs, served with roasted pee wee potato, broccolini, fresh salsa di Pomodoro - Again, and especially for an airport hotel restaurant, quite tasty, and the fish tasted very fresh. Veal Scaloppini - thin slices of veal, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, broccolini, capers - lemon sauce - OK, this was not the best Veal Scaloppini, which I have had, but then we frequent a local Italian restaurant, that does this dish to perfection, but the chef has been a James Beard Award nominee for the last 5 years. Good, but the weakest course of this meal. I located the Talbott Sleepy Hallow Pinot Noir on the wine list, and while not the ultimate with some of the dishes, just fine, since we did have to fly out, the very next morning. Service was very good, and though the wine stemware was more “industrial,” than I like, it was adequate. With a nod to this being an airport hotel restaurant, I give it high marks, and would gladly return, when we stay at the Hilton LAX again.

Good Food, Excellent Service, Relaxing Atmosphere

By Cindy P |

I dined solo at Andiamo shortly after checking into the Hilton for an overnight stay. I spent more on dinner than I planned to but really enjoyed the ciopinno (seafood soup) and Parker Station Merlot. My server was very attentive without being intrusive. My dinner was a fitting ending/reward for a day of hard work.

Awesome Italian Restaurant at the Hilton LAX

By Vegasjoe57 |

We searched for a restaurant to have a nice dinner after flying in from Hawaii and nothing stood put so we ate at the hotel we were staying at. The dinner was awesome with great wine, warm focaccia, and an awesome arugula salad with shaved pecorino and prosciutto. The entree says it all: some of the best veal scallopini ever!

Excellent Cioppino

By Maggie L |

The décor and service is very good at Andiamo and my cioppino (seafood stew) in tomato broth was very tasty with a generous amount of herbs and spices. This is a surprisingly good restaurant considering its location in the lobby of a busy, average-priced, convention hotel, the LA airport Hilton. If you're staying at the airport Hilton for one night, I'd recommend visiting this highly convenient restaurant and sparing yourself the horror of negotiating LA freeways.

Classy Times on Fremont Street

By Climber784912 |

Seated 6 of us at a great table that was plenty large. Food was fairly priced for quality and execution. Really fantastic service and attention to detail. Highly suggest!

Overpriced, average food with top notch service.

By Alan T |

The food was average, the ambiance was acceptable, the prices three times what the food is worth but the service is the best I have experienced.

Enjoyable Dinner

By Robin A |

We experienced good service and knowledgeable staff. The food was well served and the portions of reasonable size. It was reasonably quiet for a Thursday evening.

GOOD ITALIAN RESTAURANT NEAR LAX

By DarylJ552 |

Andiamo is located on the ground floor of The Hilton Hotel at the Los Angeles airport. They have a good menu with salads, Italian dishes steaks and seafood. The wine list had some reasonably priced bottles and the food and service was very good.

Excellent hotel restaurant

By Byron S |

I had both lunch and breakfast here. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the Korean blimp which was plentiful. I just wished it had vegetables. It came with an egg on top of the rice. My colleague ordered the Asian salad and she enjoyed it. We both ordered cups of soup and were pleased. Breakfast was even better with the buffet offering an array of choices including congee with toppings.

Excellent!

By DirectorofOps400 |

Great buffet for breakfast when you're on the go. Something there for just about any taste. Service is spot-on and extremely friendly.

Great Choice for Upscale Dining at Hilton LAX

By CarolDeland |

In LA on business we stayed at the Hilton. This was a great choice for us since we never had to leave the hotel. Really good good food. I had spaghetti bolognaise. It was relaxing and a great choice at the end of a long day of driving and business. My business partner ordered a steak choice and she loved it too. Wine choices were also reasonable. Service was appropriate.

Great Service

By Kristian N |

I had breakfast here while I was waiting for my room to become available. The server was amazing, one of the best waiters I have ever had and most certainly the best in a hotel restaurant. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Good food in a value hotel

By rhmejia |

Visiting LA in a business trip for one day, leaving very early next day...no time to go out to a nice dinner experience....so Andiamo makes a good option to eat well while having a quick visit

Not good food

By Cj M |

The Calamari and Ceasar Salad were very good. Party of 4. Each pasta dish was awful!! I had chicken fedichini, the chicken was so dry it was unedible. The pasta with mussels was salty. The gnocchi was just not good. No one ate more than 1/4 of their meal. The waitress never asked if we liked our food or had any problems. Just brought the food and then bill! Would not recommend this resturant.

Superb Dining Experience

By malibuleo |

I am seldom impressed with airport hotel restaurants, but Andiamo is an exception, and it is EXCEPTIONAL. The food is delightful. The service is superb, and my all around experience was just wonderful. I had an exceptional northern Italian meal that rang all the notes of elegance matched with a divine gastronomic experience. From my personal experience you truly get what you pay for here and the food is an absolute delight.

Great hotel dining experience

By lindas286 |

We stayed here at the Hilton and dined in. It was really nice for a hotel ! Delicious food. Great wait staff Beet salad. And linguini and clams. Had a nice. Evening.

Good but not worth it

By Albert P |

Although the food is great it is not worth what you paid for it. 35$ for a single pasta plate.... Moreover, the service was slow and some times the waiters where difficult to reach for things such as asking some more water.
