Fantastic TexMex. Busy but not crowded mom & pop. Lots of choices. Large portions. Very reasonable prices. I shall return.

Just migrated to San Antonio and found this true Mom and Pop restaurant that serves real Mexican dishes. We were moving in and needed some quick breakfast so a drove down east Commerce Street and found Angels. As soon as you walk in you can smell the food cooking and if you've ever been fortunate enough to eat meals at a Mexican friends mother or grandmother's house knows these smells. There's nothing else like it. Thea's Angel's. I have found my home cooked Mexican food place. No frills, more than fair prices. Go get you some!

This is a good place to eat .I live 10 miles away and I don't think twice about going that far to eat breakfast or lunch. The food is very good and the staff is very attentive to your every needs. Good fresh food made to order. I am glad they made there parking bigger and sometimes it's is hard to find parking which is a good sign but I don't mind waiting for a parking spot.

This place is fantastic. The tacos are big and they’re cheap. Order a lot of them and get them delivered to your hotel room for sure! It’s on the east side of San Antonio so it’s in a rough neighborhood. However, you won’t find a better place in San Antoniofor their breakfast tacos. They will work with you on whatever you want. They have great takeout and I like eating in the restaurant. Just don’t expect a Applebee’s atmosphere.
