Extremely disappointed

By Carole |

This is a popular neighborhood café in which I’ve been here before I took my family as they had never been. It was on a Sunday in the afternoon and understandably busy. I was so embarrassed because the server was so rude. The biscuits and gravy were really good, we also had eggs bacon hashbrowns fresh squeezed orange juice and pancakes. The pancakes were cold and the ball I better that was hard like a golf ball rolled off the plate. The eggs were decent and the bacon was crispy like it usually is. I asked for my hashbrowns extra crispy like I always do and they were not. I will definitely go back but I was saddened that I took my family and had told them that it was one of the best breakfast I had in Dallas in a very long time. I just still cannot believe how rude the server was and I wish I would’ve gotten her name.

Great Brakfast

Angela's has been around for years. You can see EVERYONE you ever wanted to see in here. The breakfasts are awesome..nothing fancy, but you will not go to work hungry! I love this place! There is always a line on the weekends..

Best Breakfast Always!!

By AnnIrwin |

Drop in for a late breakfast, you will love it. Great service and authentic breakfast. You can also get a delicious plate lunch special. All items are reasonably priced.

Good food at good price

By ZeemomX3 |

I had lunch at Angela's with several other people. The most important thing to note is we all enjoyed what we ordered. With a 9 page menu there are dozens of dishes, and something for everyone, from traditional "Blue Plate Specials" like meat loaf, (and even liver and onions!) to all day breakfasts from migas to pancakes, plus many sandwiches, salads and Mexican favorites. The food is good, portions enormous, and proves reasonable. What's not to like?

First time, but not the last

By Jim S |

My wife and I ate their today for the first time. I had veggie plate, very good, and she had the pot roast special, which she gobbled down. The only negative is the service, slow, but pleasant. Will be going back. Food not salty.

Great Food at a Great Price

By Harrison P |

I consistently keep coming back to Angela's for brunch and lunch, as their large menu and great food keep surprising me. The salads are very large, and all of the breakfast items make me leave satisfied. I would come here just for the food, but their low prices make it a weekly must for me.

Great prices - average food - lousy service

By TripsAh0y |

We came here for brunch and had chicken fried steak, hash browns, eggs and toast and it was all very good - and affordable. Two eggs, hash browns and toast was only $5.80!! The atmosphere is dated and diner like -but it's kind of refreshing and its full of old people who are clearly regulars.. We ordered fresh juice from the juice bar right as we sat down and the waitress didn't bring it until we were almost done eating. Also she never brought out our pancake but billed us for it. We had her correct the bill but it took her over ten minutes..service wasn't the best but it was so cheap, it was worth it!! Want to go back soon for a $3 milkshake!

Sewer stench

By Brett M |

No complaints about the food or the service, which were mediocre, but what you would expect at a diner, but when we walked in there was a horrible stench. I asked the server if it was a dirty grease trap or the sewer system and she told me it was the sewer pipes. When I complained to the manager, she confirmed to me it was sewer issues. I can't pretend it's OK to eat in those conditions. It's disgusting, yet the place was packed and people didn't seem to mind. Meanwhile, the wife and I were about to throw up. We were disappointed we weren't offered a refund or a discount.

Just becoming more average every time .

By Carole |

Used to be a really great place. Each time I visit, it becomes more average. Ordered a bit of everything to see if there was improvement. Sausage links and extra crispy hash browns always excellent. Eggs ordered over medium. Always. Come out over easy. toast was cold . Bacon soggy . My friends pancakes were pretty decent. Service. Never. Ever friendly nor efficient. Probably will be my last visit . Huge disappointment.

Not good, but you'll still find people there

By Jordan G |

It's just very average breakfast food. Nothing special on the menu that is to die for or anything. have found a long black hair in my omlet. Yet, you will still find people you know there on Saturda/Sunday morning. Kind of one of the watering holes of HIghland Park.

Awesome Breakfast Reasonably Priced

By CC C |

A regular hangout for us on Saturday mornings, normally the place is full (seats about 100), but the wait usually isn't too long and it's worth the wait. Excellent wait staff who have never messed up our orders and the food is usually brought out very promptly. The wait staff is excellent and the food selections are great - omelettes, pancakes, waffles, french toast

Simply good food and service

By James O |

Simply good food and personal service. Made us feel welcome and left with a satisfied belly. Took all safety precautions seriously.

Great spot for breakfast

By Josh S |

Amazing food, staff and menu. Great place for breakfast, always friendly staff and quick service. The daily specials always look good, and I've tried and few of them and liked them. I'ld like it better if there were a variety of pancakes to chose from.

Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner with Great Food, Service and Price

By Alittlemischievous |

Everyone goes to Angela's on Sunday Breakfast, it is not unusual to stand in line for 30 minutes or so, and no one seems to mind. Because they know when they get their table, it will be good service, good food at the right price. They have something for any age group and my mother loves their Chocolate Chip Pancakes with extra cream topping. Delicious. Their lunch and dinner menus are always with a lot of nice fresh veggies. Yum. Go check it out, your wallet will not be disappointed or your palate.

Perfect breakfast place!

By Katherine H |

Angela's has a diner-like atmosphere and serves typical American breakfast food like omelettes, pancakes, and waffles. It never disappoints when I wake up super hungry and need a proper breakfast!

Excellent food close to Dallas Love Field!

Angela's Tacos are off the hook deliciousness! Friendly staff and great service! I would recommend to anyone! Don't miss out on this local favorite!

START WITH PIE

By Cynthia U |

first it is a little hard to find as it is not facing Inwood or Lovers Lane but is on the back side of lovers ln facing the parking lot. there is plenty of parking. try any of the breakfast items or the specials. the desserts whether pie or churros are delirious.

Terrific Breakfast Place

By Dianne W |

This is a wonderful diner style restaurant. Love their omelettes and Migas! The staff during the day is really good, but the waiter that we have had the last few times in the evening is very slow. One time we even had to go and hunt him down after waiting about 10 minutes for him to notice us...

Close to Love Field, inexpensive

By Wesley |

Convenient to the airport and inexpensive. Food was good, atmosphere was cafe style and service was good.

This restaurant has been in Dallas for a long time and is just amazing....great breakfast but the best miga's in the world. Fast service and friendly wait staff.

Good breakfast

Good omelettes. Good bacon and eggs. Service always good. They also have good hamburgers. They are good for sandwiches

Wonderful Migas for Breakfast!

By Florimbi |

If you are looking for a great casual (and inexpensive) breakfast/brunch or lunch place, you must try Angela's. It attracts local Park Cities and Preston Hollow families, UT Southwestern Medical doctors and staff, as well as the "after-church" crowd on weekends, when it is most crowded. Angela's offers the best Migas (Mexican egg dish) that I have found in Dallas! I gave it a 5 star rating - not because it is the ultimate meal you can find in Dallas (it is not) but, for it's consistency, value and reliability for those basic meals you look for a quick breakfast or solid everyday lunch meal. I wouldn't see this so much as a dinner place (although they are open for dinner.) The menu offers lots of "basic" diner fare with some "Mexican" (Tex-Mex) offerings to add some spice to your meal, if that's what you like.

Good, quick breakfast in Dallas, near hospitals.

By klhk |

We had a doctors appt and flew into Dallas and went here for breakfast. They are quick and the food was okay. I probably would try again but I think they are only used to locals. Seemed to confuse them we actually wanted to look at the menu's and weren't in a hurry. Didn't actual get a drink order in other than," yes coffee". Also it was a little hard to find. It is on the backside of a building. Even the Uber drivers were lost. Both getting us there and picking us up.

Great neighborhood breakfast spot

By Dave Porter |

An old school cafe serving great breakfast. I always get either the chopped steak and eggs or the eggs Benedict. The eggs are cooked to order and the plates come out fast!

The Go To Breakfast Spot for Park Cities

By Leonard L |

This is THE breakfast spot for the working folks in the Park Cities. While they are open all day and into the evening, it is the breakfast meals that are tops. Flexible on preparation - Eggs Over Whatever You Want, hot coffee that stays full and for lunch try the chili.

Great Migas & chorizo breakfast

By James Mc |

Really good breakfast and lunch place. breakfast is just right, my favorite is Migas & chorizo, no complaints at all. It's always good. Popular place and can get crowded at times, but worth it.

Rude staff

By Julie C |

Rude staff. Would not recommend. Hostess was rude and had a terrible attitude. Would not go back again.

First time visit

By David E |

We had planned on eating at another restaurant but they were closed for lunch on Sunday. Angela's was in walking distance, so we gave it a try. Prices are good. Service was friendly but forgetful and inattentive. Food was boring. Not bad just nothing special.

Quick catfish lunch

By Thomas K |

I've had a LOT of catfish in my day. When done right it can't be beat. Trust a catfish guy. Angela's does catfish right.

Very pleasant with good food & service

By Daniel K |

Enchilada dinner was very good, four veggie plate was good, service was excellent. The prices all really reasonable. We would eat here any time for home cooking, which is what this place serves. Not an upscale restaurant, just good food at good prices

Good little diner cafe

By 5016DAH |

Hidden in a small strip center off Inwood Road and Lovers Lane. Neighborhood cafe - good breakfast and other menu items. Can get crowded on weekends for Breakfast/Lunch but you never have to wait long. Good Value.

Good bkfst

By ChopperBenny |

Great Food, Friendly Service

By Donna R |

I felt like I was sitting down at my mothers table while visiting this restaurant. The food choices were excellent, the food quality was excellent and the service was excellent. The staff saw to our every need and I have no complaints at all. Will return on my next visit to Dallas.

Give me Migas any day!

By Heather S |

Migas: cheesy, tasty, zippy goodness in a tortilla. If it were up to me, I would have Angela’s Migas every morning. I ordered it the first time we dined at Angela’s and it was so good, that it is the only thing I have ever ordered there. The cheese is generous, the jalapeños are zippy, and the flavors work to make this my savory staple. It is served with your choice of corn or flour tortillas, salsa, and hash browns (I always request mine extra crispy). Angela’s is my weekend, week day, out of town guests, I’m hankering for Migas, go-to place. Did I mention it’s also a great place to people watch on the weekends if you are willing to brave the line;)

A good place to meet and catch up over a long meal

By C K |

Cafe describes it or old-fashioned diner. I love this place. Breakfast all day. Inexpensive pricing. Good food. Comfy atmosphere. No pressure to move tables. Great service. Just a wonderful to meet someone and catch up on each others' happenings.

Great breakfast!

By KrishaTravels |

I ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Definitely was not disappointed. Not to mention the service was extremely fast and friendly!

Comfort food

By Charles Z |

A quaint cafe on the backside of a shopping center. Upscale atmosphere (as is most of the customer base), with a homie feeling. Great service and food. The only reason it was not 5 stars, was the checks do not itemize your order. Only shows the items ordered with a total written on the bill. I had Angela's Special (hash browns, 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 bacon, with 2 pancakes). Great quality of food as well as quantity. Tasted like homemade fresh as well. Also had a choice of regular OJ or fresh squeezed. I got the fresh, which really was fresh squeezed. Total for three breakfast was $15.69 plus the tip I left. This is a keeper. Will be back.

Plain fare, cooked decently.

By carlinemom |

Fairly good breakfast and lunch but not so much a place to eat as a place to pick up stuff. The parking in front is ghastly but there is parking in the back. It's the kind of place I pick up an order of bacon, eggs, and toast.

Nice

By Kristina S |

I love Angela’s Cafe for its warm, welcoming vibe and generous portions. Whether I’m in the mood for a hearty breakfast or comforting Tex-Mex, it always hits the spot. The staff is friendly, and it feels like a place where you’re treated like family.

You may like it but I was not impressed.

By glb310 |

I visited for the first time at the request of a friend on a Sunday morning around 11:00. I liked their location (plenty of parking), enjoyed my attentive waiter and thought their menu had a great selection plus the wait time was only 15 minutes. I'm not sure about the "Mexican" description because I thought it was All-American food on the menu. Now for the rest of the honesty. The booth seat was so worn that I sank below the table and the menu (even with its many offerings) took me forever to find something that caught my attention. I finally settled on fried chicken which is usually a safe bet that proved wrong. It had been in the fryer too long and the batter looked like melted plastic. I encourage you to visit here as I believe you will like it very much. It could have been just me or just a bad day for the restaurant. If I return I will update the review.

Great Breakfast

By Sebluemoon |

Efficient service -hot coffee keeps coming. I usually come here after exercising Saturday morning. The Mexican food, especially Migas, is good. I also love the Belgian waffle. I haven't tried much of their regular menu- can't stay away from the breakfast. Good local spot.

Comfort food for lunch...

By shawray50 |

Good food in a comfortable environment with friendly servers. The atmosphere reminds you of eating good food at home.

Huge fajita salad

By Vinny0014 |

I came in for business and employees that work in at Love Field recommended this place. They said everything was good, and portions are huge. The chicken fajita salad was no exception. Best $8 salad I have had in a long time.

Nice diner

By naneliz |

This is a typical diner in a good location with a pretty large menu. It has decent food and very good prices. With nice staff.

Can't Go Wrong Here!

By Larry S |

Great daily diner-style lunch w/ wide assortment of entrees and fresh vegatables. A great old-fashioned breakfast place as well. I continue to be amazed by the wide-variety on their menu and they do it all so well. You can find something for anyone here Larry

Weekend Migas

By Noelle W |

Such a great hole in the wall. Inexpensive, good quick. The migas are always a hit. Expect a crowd of locals but rest assured the line goes quickly.

A standard

By carlabZ3303FD |

Angela's seems like any other diner and offers all the expected dishes-- fluffy eggs, good waffles, grilled sandwiches. The Mexican dishes are excellent.
