great pizza but also delightful menu of delicious food. Coconut shrimp ,flatbreads & chipotle offerings supplement the pizza if you want something more. Special salad needs to be shared! Huge selection. Modest price.

Angelino's is my absolute favorite pizza place in Fairmount/the Art Museum Area! Their pizzas are very large, not too expensive, and delicious! We often get a white pizza with prosciutto, mushrooms, and ricotta. It is seriously to die for! Their crust is phenomenal, and has almost a powdery garlic coating, or something. Whatever it is, it is da bomb!

This place was so great! We were so glad we found it! Everything was so good including our nice waiter and comfy atmosphere. Pizza was delicious! We got the vodka and white. One 14 in is perfect for two people and only 9 dollars!

This restaurant is for the locals, comfortable, simple, delicious food and salads and the BYOB makes it perfect...No corkage fee..

I've eaten at angelinos pretty often. My mom is a police officer and a lot of officers love it. The food is always magnificent but I found the service on my last two trips lacking friendliness. I understand that you are busy making a ton of money but could it hurt to spare a smile for the customer in front of you. The service is not so bad that I will never eat there again and the food is amazing hence the four stars.

Pasta dishes were excellent! Literally, some of the best tasting Italian food I ever tasted. Emily, our friendly & efficient waitress made the experience. We brought our own vino and had a complete Italian dinner. Bravissimo!

Angelino's is nestled slighly farther from the museums, but it is worth those extra blocks. This is a great family establishment to order a few pies as a group. Out of all of the pizza joints in the city, this alongside Lorenzo's on south street are my favorite pizza places. The white pizza is fantastic! They also have good sandwiches and are very well priced. Service is friendly!

Warm and cozy. You can tell it's family run. Popular with locals. Suggest reservation. BYOB. Excellent Italian specialties. I would eat here regularly if I lived in the neighborhood.

This is a small, family owned and operated neighborhood Italian establishment. We had a marvelous pizza....simple with fresh ingredients and real tastes! The restaurant is so friendly and the surrounding neighborhood frequents the place so it has a great comfortable feel. The prices are very good for Center City and selection for wine, etc. is small but varied and affordable. Kids are more than welcome. If you want to feel like you are at your Italian family's house, this is the place. Try it.

Stumbled upon this place while I was vacationing with my son in Philly. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The owner, Dan, is a great guy and was a pleasure to get to know. He treated us like family. We ate there twice, once for pizza and once for some good Italian food. All was fantastic! I highly recommend this place!

Just what my family was looking for after a drizzly day at the zoo. Warm atmosphere and friendly service. Great food, pizza was fantastic.

I ordered a Margherita pizza with pepperonis. I was very surprised. It was really good the sauces was very tasty. It didn't taste like it came out of a huge can. I ride pass this place everyday always said I was going to try it. I am very particular about pizza. Usually will not eat from neighbor pizza spots. I am a sauce girl it's important for the sauce to taste good. Ate three slices instead of my normal one. Okay Angelino's I will put you on my list. 14' $11.00

We went there for a bite around dinner time. I've never had mozzarella cheese fries (awesome)- (don't care for the wiz) and we had one of the specialty pizzas and chicken caesar wraps, which is large enough to take home for a second meal. Great food overall. It's a BYOB place and they also have unsweetened tea and coke beverages. Nice ambiance, rather small and quaint. Parking is at a premium- so you might get parking a block away or more.

Angelino's was our go to family restaurant when we lived int he Art Musuem Area. The pizza and entrees are delicious. It is a family run business and they are very kind with children of all ages. We still come back to visit!

So we picked this ressy during my travel to Philly from Canada based on the reviews from Trip Advisor and had my two kids with us after a full day of sight seeing in Philly. I was expecting good things but I was let down: 1) it was a quiet evening and not busy at all...perhaps 10 or so people in the restaurant but the service was so slow as if there were 100 people in there. Our foods came out at different times; the waitress failed to even come back on several occasions to see if we need anything else... 2) I have to say though - the food was good; was it the best Italian I’ve had? No not really...it was average. 3) This is a BYOB. I didn’t know that prior to going in and only found out that they don’t serve alcohol after asking for the drink menu... it wasn’t a deal breaker for me but its important to note in case your looking to have a few beverages with your meal. 4) Now I’ll save this point for last as I really don’t want to create the impression that I’m hating on this establishment. But imagine the look on my face when I went into the restaurant and found a LOADED FIREARM sitting on top of the window ledge...the firearm was inside a holster left unattended and I figured being the states it belonged to a patron who took it off using the facilities.... Nope! It turned out to belong to who I believe was the manager/owner - who upon being told there was a gun in the washroom was obviously embarrassed and said “sorry about that I used the washroom this morning and didn’t realize...it’s been sitting here all morning”... what do you even say to something like that...tbh I didn’t want to stay at that point but the kids were cranky and hungry and I didn’t feel like looking for another place so we stayed. All I can say is that as someone who owns firearms myself ... this individual should NOT own a firearm and needs to seriously consider himself lucky that the gun was found by me and not someone who decided to take it and god knows where it could have been used....and on who. I can sincerely say I will not be coming back to this restaurant again...and do not recommend it. The only positive was that the food was decent....

My wife and I stopped here and thought we needed to order a pizza each figuring they were small because they were under $10 each. One would have fed us perfectly. Vodka pizza was amazing! Service was great too. Honestly no complaints at all!

Stopped with my daughter who lives nearby. We specifically wanted the Blush Sauce Pizza. It was OUTSTANDING!!! Everything it's talked up to be. Great Pizza On all levels. Polite and efficient service. I wish I lived closer.

The food is fine and very reasonable priced. Service can be spotty as sometimes there are a server too few. Located in an old row house on a corner with on-street parking, the restaurant can be crowded and a bit noisy, but definitely go on the Thursday once per month that the Jazzmen are playing. This trio, or sometimes four or five players, is really good. I know that Philadelphia is known for it's jazz scene, but these men are really good. Definitely worth attending when they perform. And it's a BYO, of course.

A great, family-owned restaurant! The pizza is VERY good and the other choices are as well. On some nights they have live music as well. It's atmosphere is nicer than most pizza places, but it's still very affordable compared to other casual dining in the area. It's worth walking the extra block or two north if coming from the museums.

One of the best thing in Philadelphia is the idea of BYOB (bring your own bottle) restaurants. Angelino's is one of them. They are very kind, the food is great (try the vodka sauce pasta) and comes in huge amount!

It was our first time in Philadelphia and wanted somewhere to eat after visiting the Rocky statue and Angelino's Restaurant did not disappoint. honestly one of the best restaurants I've eaten at while in the States. Would highly recommend it here. They have good service, great food, and a good vibe!

This place is amazing for the service, the atmosphere the food I would definitely return It closed 45 minutes before we even left and they didn’t say a word

Friendly wait staff who are accomodating and outgoing. Always stop by for lunch when we're in Philly. Great pizzas, subs and salads. Never disappointed with the food or service. Love that you can BYOB here as well. The house special pizza is definitely worth a try!

We dropped by for an unplanned Sunday lunch. We were seated right away by a very courteous waiter. The place is beautiful, and the menu was very interesting. Our food came promptly and was delicious. The owner/cook came by the table to make sure everything was OK. Definitely a neighborhood treasure. If we are back in that area, we'll be sure to go back.

Food was cooked very well and tasted delicious! Our server was also very friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely a must go to place in Philadelphia

Good pizza, italian and varied entrees! Reasonably priced. Specials change frequently. A tad noisy but not overwhelming. Fun atmosphere.

after 4 months in the states I learned not to expect much of restaurants - not this time ate there with my family and we all enjoyed even though we do not share the same taste (one is actually vegetarian...) whatever we ordered was great and felt like Italy - the pizza, the pasta, the salad, even the espresso... on top of that - the price was much less then I expected will definitely return

This is, in my humble opinion, the best Italian food to be found in Philadelphia. It is a clean, comfortable restaurant- nothing fancy about it- but the food is superb. Great taste, generous portions. Took my wife and daughter here on the eve of the Philadelphia Marathon. It was a little busy and I'm glad I made a reservation. The service was excellent and I can't wait to return. Only problem is that it's not easy finding a parking space in the area, so plan to arrive early and hunt around the surrounding streets to find a parking space. It's well worth the trouble, even if you have to walk a few blocks. This s definitely my new favorite restaurant in Phila. Highly recommended!

This might be a place with nice people working, but they sure don't know how to make a Margarita Pizza.....slapping marinara sauce that wasn't really great over a thick crust doughy base was not the way to do it. Our chicken parm was much better than the pizza that we pitched after each having a few bites. We then went out to their competitor Luigi's and got another pizza that we all liked.

Stopped here for lunch after our day at the Eastern State Penitentiary. I had the individual Margarita pizza. It was excellent! The crust was out of this world!

This is our go-to place for family celebrations. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and the setting is comfortable. Whether we share the large pizza, opt for chicken caesar salad or have the extra time to wait for their amazing baked ziti, we always enjoy the food and our time there.

I had a pita and my friend had the South Philly sandwich and both were excellent, good healthy ingredients, big portions, price is more than reasonable. Plenty of choices too!

We enjoyed a lovely meal at this gorgeous little place, very traditional and homely. Very good service too, we will be back.

Simply horrible. Dont waste your time or money. Staff is very unprofessional as well as disrespectful. Multiple disappointing experiences with this low class establishment

Indulge in a Philadelphia classic wrapped in an excellent pizza crust. Crisp outside with the proper pizza crust "tooth" filled with oodles of "Philly" steak, green peppers, onions, sauce, and cheese....delicious. Try their exceptional pizza too!

My favorite place to stop for lunch after I have had a long walk in and around the city. When my son lived nearby we always had dinner there and were never disappointed. Food is always fresh and great. A cannot-go-wrong place.

We looked for an Italian restaurant near where we were at the time and Angelino’s popped up. What a great find. Local neighborhood place with great service and equally fantastic authentic Italian comfort food. We chatted with the owner and his brother, who is the chef. Totally delightful and highly recommended. The prices are terrific and you won’t be able to finish tour plate, so think fabulous leftovers at home!
Still Solid Spot
Have been away from Philly for sometime and heard that this neighborhood gem had closed for months and then reopened under new management so decided to check it out. Turns out that the new management was a former cook there so the menu, and the food is basically the same high quality. So if you have been there before, do check it out again - still the same, but now open 7 days and with a menu expanded beyond the lunch and dinner options you already know.
