The food and presentation were absolutely amazing! The waiters and managers were very kind, and they helped make the beautiful setting even more appealing. Would highly recommend for a date night!

Saw the James Beard mention before coming to Vegas for a conference and thought it looked interesting. Had the tasing menu with wine paring. One of my top five dining experiences in the U.S. Great staff, great sommelier, outstanding food.

Hubby and I were on vacation and wanted something off the strip and unique. Did not disappoint. Really fun flavors and presentation. The bravas potatoes were on point!

We came to Las Vegas for a few days and checked all the reviews of restaurants and located this out of the way gem. It was a 30.00 dollar Uber ride to the location and thought it was closed due to the dark windows. To our suprise the door was open and the restaurant was busy. We were greeted immediately and seated. The menu was amazing and we went with the Gluten Free tasting for $80.00 PP . We also did a wine tasting for $55.00 PP and had PAULO the sommelier give us the most information ever for the wine for each course. The food was amazing as well as the service. If you're looking for a restaurant with amazing food at a great price off the strip this is the place for you. Will definitely return to this restaurant 5 Stars

Serving Las Vegas since January 2022 and now a James Beard Award Foundation finalist, Anima by EDO merges Italian and Spanish Cuisine into a whole new experience with several of Chef Oscar Amador's signatures making their way over from the flagship. Run by industry veterans from front-of-house to kitchen it is following warm greetings at the door that guests are led to a choice of diverse seating options, banquets in the back most quiet with a full view of murals from local artist Apolo Torres. More "approachable" than EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine per General Manager Roberto Liendo, though certainly never lacking for creativity, Dinner at Anima begins with Appetizers ranging from modernist Olives or Peanuts to briny Oysters following Baby Scallops topped in Brown Butter Curls plus good Olive Oil. Serving Charcuterie from the former Barista station near the door, a mix of Spanish and Italian choices perfect for two-to-four alongside "Catalan Olive Oil Bread" and Boquerones, aged-Beef now arrives as a “Roll up” alongside creamy Eggs torched tableside at the center of Guanciale. Focused largely on new items, though Foie Gras in whatever form Oscar chooses to serve it is a must, Croquettas pack plenty of punch into just two bites while grilled Asparagus benefit tremendously from Trout Roe and Oysters in malty Vinaigrette. Going all-in on Pastas, two recently added and the Bone Marrow-slathered Cavatelli an Instagram-friendly signature, the “best” of Oxtail or Mushroom pockets is a toss-up as each are marvelous in Sauces that accentuate the protein while simultaneously adding nuance. Not forgetting whole Langoustines from the grill complete with Caviar, the night’s entree consisted of bone-in Shortrib easily cut and served with a spoon before rounding out the night with Passion Fruit Creme Brulee and Chocolate Cremoso that shows off its Ingredient quality through simplicity.

We love this restaurant. The staff are friendly and so accommodating to dietary needs. Anima is in our neighborhood so we go regularly and we’ve never had anything less than a five star experience!

Service absolutely above the average. I get the tasting menu and I suggest to everyone. Thank you . We will be back soon. Nice wine list. Based on essential wines from Spain, Italy and California/ France.

Amongst our top 5 favorite Vegas restaurants. Especially off the strip and on West side. Consistently unique seasonal dishes with great flavor. Incredibly nice sommelier.

Another great meal at Anima. Their creativity and ingredient freshness is different than most other restaurants in town. Rivals anything on the strip at a fraction of the cost. Superb.

Excellent, we loved everything! Food is terrific, lovely service and gorgeous wine! It is one of best restaurants we ever had!

We really liked it here. Liked the vibe, thought the service was really friendly, helpful, and good, and the food was excellent. We did the vegetarian tasting menu, which was a lot of food, but was really good. Quite a variety of tastes, textures and in season foods that were excellent. We would definitely go back.

Anima truly is a hidden gem off of the Vegas Strip. The Gin and Tonic drinks are the superb and the food is simply delicious.

Anima is owned by the same folks who brought us EDO, and the concept is similar. This one, however, is a Peruvian/Italian fusion. Located in the Grammarcy complex on W. Russell Rd. Just off the 215. On a Thursday night, the joint was hopping. A bit noisy, but not excessively so. Nothing special about the fairly Spartan interior hints at the truly sophisticated, creative and original menu creations. Although there is a menu of standard appetizers and entrees, the hands down recommendation is the $60 menu de gustacion (tasting menu) requiring full table participation, comprised of 7 dishes. We attach a copy of the summer menu. The dishes are served family style and are adequately portioned for the number of diners. Each dish is uniquely prepared and presented and impressively tasty. The food rates 5 stars and easily competes with the best on the Strip. The wine list is very good and offers many quality choices at under $100. Dishes came out timely. Although plates and silverware were changed several times during the meal, used utensils were sometimes left unreplaced on the uncovered table. That shouldn’t happen. Servers were friendly and managers stopped by several times. Paolo, the sommelier was helpful and engaging. We always enjoy seeing new local eateries that push the envelope for gourmet dining away from the Strip. Anima is a welcome addition.

The best fine dining experience I’ve had in Las Vegas and I’ve lived here 10 years. Service is impeccable. Make you feel like you’re at home.

Serving Las Vegas since January 2022 and now a James Beard Award Foundation finalist plus Yelp! Winner for best new Restaurant, Anima by EDO merges Italian and Spanish Cuisine into an elegant experience with several of Chef Oscar Amador's signatures making their way over from the flagship. Run by industry veterans from front-of-house to kitchen it is following warm greetings at the door that guests are led to a choice of diverse seating options, banquets in the back most quiet with a full view of murals from local artist Apolo Torres. More "approachable" than EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine per General Manager Roberto Liendo, though certainly never lacking for creativity, Dinner at Anima begins with Appetizers ranging from Olive Oil Gelato with Caviar to briny Oysters following Baby Scallops topped in Thai-influenced Sauce. Visited on this day during a Wine dinner, several courses matched to stories from Poderi Aldo Conterno, Cold Leeks with dueling Roes showed great restraint before Jidori Chicken Escabeche adjacent delicate Cephalopod Charcuterie. Not forgetting Hamachi unveiled in a swirl of smoke with Duck Liver and Apples, before transitioning to Red, EDO’s Bikini Sandwich cannot be forgotten even in the face of Japanese Sweet Potatoes or indelible Uni Toast with Ham and Truffles. Going all-in on Pastas, #instafamous Truffle Cavatelli joined by Short Ribs in Vodka Sauce plus Spinach Raviolini in nutty Pesto, 2018 Barolo found its match in Kurobuta Pork with Black Truffle and Vermouth Sauce prior to two new Desserts from Oscar and Tayden Ellamar.

One of the best new restaurants in the city. This is the second concept by the EDO group and it exceeded expectations. They are known for their tasting menu, handmade pastas, and tapas bites. Their cocktail and wine program is unique and crafty. Definitely recommend.

Amazing food, service, and staff!! We had the tasting menu and wine pairings. Each plate we tried was simply outstanding . . . And the wine parings were incredible as well. These people are artists! Julian took care of us. Paolo poured and presented the wine. Absolutely the best in every respect. This is not an inexpensive place to eat. Nevertheless, it was amazing to experience the very top of the culinary arts with servers who took joy in providing the experience.

I haven't eaten at every restaurant in Las Vegas, but I've eaten at many, including far pricier restaurants. Our dinner at Anima was the best meal I've had in Las Vegas -- and one of the best meals I've had anywhere. Highlights included the smoked hamachi, the carpaccio with a cheese-filled pastry, the brussel sprouts, the patatas bravas, the dorade, and the craft cocktails. We were surprised at how certain items were cooked or presented. For example, we had assumed that the smoked hamachi would be similar to smoked salmon. Instead, it was raw hamachi, presented in a dish with smoke -- and it was really delicious. I've had patatas bravas many times at tapas restaurants. These were long strips of a fried tuber with an amazing sauce accompaniment. I picked my first cocktail, but let the waiter (Anthony) pick the next two. All were fantastic -- and sometimes entertaining in the presentation. I hesitate to call Anima a "value" restaurant. However, if you enjoy truly excellent food, the quality, taste, and presentation are off the charts in value at Anima. Our thanks to Anthony for his help and patience with our family, which included my young son. I will make a point of eating at Anima when I next visit Las Vegas.

Serving Las Vegas since January 8th 2022, the old Kitchen Table Squared space getting a big upgrade, Anima by EDO merges Italian and Spanish Cuisine into a whole new experience with several of Chef Oscar Amador's signatures making their way over from Chinatown. Tapping industry veterans from front-of-house to kitchen, Chris Leavitt heading up the bar, it is following warm greetings at the door that guests are led to a choice of diverse seating options, banquets in the back most quiet with a full view of murals from local artist Apolo Torres. More "approachable" than EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine per General Manager Roberto Liendo, though certainly never lacking for creativity, Dinner at Anima begins with Appetizers briny Oysters preceding Baby Scallops topped in Brown Butter Curls plus good Olive Oil. Serving Charcuterie from the former Barista station near the door, a mix of Spanish and Italian choices perfect for two-to-four alongside "Catalan Olive Oil Bread" and Anchovies, Sashimi-grade Tuna comes next coiled inside Aji Amarillo Escabeche. Focused largely on new items, though Foie Gras in whatever form Oscar chooses to serve it is a must, Carbonara Tarts pack plenty of punch into just one bite while grilled Artichokes benefit tremendously from shaved Duck Liver plus Romesco utilizing Tomatillos and a bit of heat. Going all-in on Pastas, four of five recently added and the Bone Marrow-slathered Cavatelli an Instagram-friendly signature, seasonality is embodied by vegetal Capelletti with Rabbit and Chestnuts served hot on the heels of an enormous Pasta-pocket filled with Dungeness Crab, Ricotta and Egg Yolk. Richer with Cheese Raviolini topped in Pork, Spinach and Pistachios, more so via Duck Agnolotti fortified with Foie, entrees included rosy Duck Breast amidst acid plus Lamb Neck cooked crisp on the surface but rich and unctuous within. Rounding out the night with Desserts, Matcha Creme Brulee polarizing but poignant in its bitter-sweet juxtaposition, Pineapple Canelon remains light and bright while Chocolate Cremoso shows off Ingredient quality through its simplicity.

our two course prix fixe lunch was delicious. an inventive peach salad and a salmon entree were both fantastic. great service without being stuffy. the $25 price is one of the best values in town!

Fantastic meal at this Spanish / Italian focused neighborhood place (about 20 minutes from the Strip). Everything was delicious. We took advantage of a Restaurant Week special that allowed us to sample 10 different dishes between the two of us. Other times, they will put together a nice tasting menu for the table. Super-friendly staff (I think we chatted with everyone who works there!). And reasonably priced wine to top it off. Will definitely return.

Hip spot, amazing food, nice wine & cocktail program. Green Tartare, Patatas Bravas, Puttanesca, Cacio e Pepe and the chocolate dessert were all top notch. Will be back!
Incredible!
Wow! Great experience. Food was amazing! Lots vegetarian options as well. The Green Tartare, Andalusian Beets & Tartare, Tuna Tartare, Eggplant Parmigniano and Mushroom Rissoto all rocked. Service was professional yet very friendly. Great wine selection. What's not to love! Can't wait to go back!
