Oh Boy....nothing like the Anthony's chain quality!

By iMotoHanks |

Sat at table in bar. Ordered cocktails, bacon avocado cheeseburger, and chowder in bread bowl. Husband said chowder was good, as usual. My burger came without the additions and with cold fries. When I showed server when she finally came to the table she said to send it back but we'd waited so long to get our food we couldn't really wait longer. I asked to make sure she didn't charge me and she said of course she had and stomped off to go fix our bill. She served all around us but not us after that. Went so far as to tell her other tables she was going on her break and checked to see if they needed anything but went on her break, making us wait and have to ask another server yo close us out. We love Anthony's as a whole. The airport one is nothing like a normal Anthony's in food and service. Don't expect anything extraordinary like at a normal Anthony's.

Lingcod and Chips.

By Ian Wright |

Went in for a bite to eat, had the Lingcod and Chips, highly recommended. 3 pieces of Lightly battered fish and lovely fries. Sat watching the world go by enjoying the food. Well worth a visit.

Awesome place

By DonnieB15 |

Went here before my flight a pretty busy place I had a seat at the bar and the wait staff was there as soon as I sat down gave me my menu and took my drink order The food came out very fast and it was very good

Meh

By BlutoDave |

Pretty much sums up the experience. I sat at the bar seating area. Waitress was quick to take my order. Quick to remind me every 5 minutes my food was up any minute for 45 minutes. I only ordered a mahi mahi taco and cup of chowder. When brought out the taco was cold, missing guac. Waitress never came back to check on me so just ate. Food really was not impressive at all. No flavor or fresh ingredients. May go back if pulled in by others.

Clam Chowder at Alderwood Mall

By roots_reggae |

We made sure to try the chowder at Pike Place Chowder and thought that was pretty good - not something I would go out of my way to eat again. So when we saw Anthony's Fish Bar at Alderwood Mall's food court, we thought we'd give their chowder a try. Wow - I'll certainly go out of my way to eat that again! My husband wanted fish and chips (atlantic cod)so we upgraded to a meal which got us a small bowl of chowder, coleslaw and a drink. In addition to the fabulously creamy and flavorful chowder with a really high ratio of solids (clams, potatoes) to soup, the coleslaw was surprisingly good. It had no mayo, just sugar and vinegar, I think, but no one flavor stood out - it was a great balance of sweet, tart, and crunchy green and purple cabbage. And the tartar sauce! I think it's the dill that makes it special - there were several large pieces of fried cod with a perfectly thin, crispy crust - not gummy or overcooked and did not come separated from the fish itself.. The fries were thin and crispy - not greasy even though it was the bed for the fried fish!

Great for that pre flight snack

By aok47 |

Worthwhile stop to fuel up prior to the long haul back home. Garlic prawns have a bit of zing and go well with a nice beed.

Great food & views

By Sheila J |

This is a very popular seafood restaurant overlooking the Marina in the De Moines beach area. While all of our items were excellent, of notable recognition are the locally sourced oysters (I don’t do oysters, but my parents are still raving about them), warm sourdough bread (one of my all time personal faves), and fresh berry desserts, in season. Reservations suggested, especially for sunset hour. Ask for a window table. Restaurant offers more upscale indoor dining and outdoor casual deck dining.

Lunch between flights

By Wade S |

I ate at the airport location while on an hour and half layover between flights. The food was really good and it was fun to watch the planes come in and take off. The service was slow and took forever to get drink refills. Luckily I made it in time for my next flight. If I am in Seattle again I would go here just not the airport location.

Great food and you can sit like a human

By Judy K |

The food and service were great at Anthony's in the airport. I had very fresh oysters with a small excellent Caesar salad and my husband had the fish and chips. The beer was cold and truly German style.

Great Breakfast before flight

By Leslie511 |

Breakfast prior to Flight was great. Nice cafe area, good service. My market Scramble dish was tasty and had just the tiny amount of veggies. Blueberry coffee cake with cinnamon butter accompanies most breakfast dishes. (If that's too sweet for you maybe you can switch for toast?) Coffee was ok and server did a great job keeping us topped up. Hubby had an omelette and he said it was very good. A little pricier than I'm used to for breakfast, but this is the airport.

Good seafood

By Gratefultraveler |

We enjoyed this place. We had a variety of food. Fish and chips. Salmon. COD. Was all really good and fresh. I while definitely recommend for fresh fish or seafood.

it's too far away!

By Ian F |

This place at Seatac aiport is brilliant. Great staff, good food, great beer and wine. The view across the runway is good as well. I just wish we had airport food like this in the UK.

Great seating, service and food

By midnitewind |

My husband and i came here for supper and we were seated right at the large windows, like a wall of window, bright and great visibility. Our waitress was wonderful. The place seems to always be busy so you need to put your name down on a list if you dont want to sit at the bar. I had the Mango Shrimp Cobb salad and it was very tasty. My husband had the clam chowder and the rockfish, also very good. They have linen napkins and i had a glass Bernard Griffin Fume Savignon Blanc which was fine. They have good sour dough bread. It was a lovely place to eat before our next flight.

Tasty Salmon with a Wonderful View

By travelotts4 |

If you are looking for good seafood at a reasonable price, with fast, friendly service then Anthony's Fish Bar at SeaTac is the place to go. Located in the main terminal it has a beautiful view of the airport. I had the cedar plank Cooper River Salomon. I toped it off with the berry cobbler - and ice cream. It will make you look forward to a long layover.

Great casual seafood and served up quick

By jeanene e |

We had about 40 minutes before our meeting so dashed over to Anthony's for some quick eats. I had the salmon taco which was fresh and quite tasty served in a soft shell taco. Taco chips came along with it. Pricing was reasonable and the service was fairly prompt though there's no table service. This is a pick-it-up yourself at the counter place but it is very casual so that's to be expected! We ate outside on the dock so had the best view of the Seattle skyline.

Great place to eat and sightsee

By deladypilot |

We were down at the pier doing a little sightseeing and stopped at Anthonys for a quick bite. Mike waited on us and was friendly and full of life. My husband ordered clam strips and chips and I had a wonderful bowl of clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. Both were fantastic and the views were great. We sat outside and enjoyed some music that was coming from on of the boats at the marina.

A Good Option at the Airport

By Debbie K |

This establishment in SeaTac is a great alternative for lunch or dinner and a huge step up from most options in airports. The food is tasty, the service is good and the atmosphere has a nice vibe for an airport restaurant. The prices are not unreasonable. My colleague and I were flying out of SeaTac and wanted lunch before leaving. We spotted this place and decided to give it a go. The atmosphere was nicer than most airport restaurants. We were greeted and seated after a very short wait. Our server attended to us quickly afterward. The menu emphasized seafood. My colleague had the salmon which was accompanied by snap peas and rice pilaf. I tried Anthony's Cobb Salad with shrimp, mango, avocado, tomato and bacon and market greens with basil vinaigrette and crumbled blue cheese. I was quite happy with my choice and my colleague also enjoyed his selection. The prices were relatively reasonable considering the quality of the fare and the airport location. Overall, this spot is head and shoulders above other airport options. The food is tasty, the service is solid and the atmosphere is nice, particularly for an airport restaurant. The prices are not unreasonable considering the location and the quality. I will consider coming here again if I am looking for a nice meal in SeaTac.

Million $ Waterfront seafood dining w/out the high price tag!

By Daryl L |

Have kids and/or want a waterfront seafood dining experience without paying that high $ price tag & your okay with sitting on plastic chairs/eating on plastic tables? Love good fish n chips, fish tacos, seafood salads, etc but don't care if it's not on china or using nice silverware? Then stop here!! If you chose a seat on the deck/dock, you could be sitting next to folks paying 2-3x for food out of the same kitchen. The fish, fries, fish tacos & cookies are all my family favorites. Kids can watch the boats come/go out of the mini harbor & afterwards take a stroll down the waterfront to the big wheel, aquarium or other waterfront attractions! Parking can be tough, but try parking in the public lot across the street by the art institute (entrance off Elliott) & take the pedestrian bridge over.

Delicious meal

By 767Holidaylover |

We had a great meal here, the choice of Fish was excellent and the waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. Reasonable prices too.

Great service and lunch portion

By KarenH302 |

I came here after my cross country flight for a light lunch since I was on East Coast time. I got a Rockfish taco and cup of clam chowder. It was the perfect serving. The taco had a great sauce on it. We almost went there again, but there are so many good places to eat in Seattle and we only had 3 days.

Great Restaurant for travellers

By AM-YEG-GlobeTrotter |

The restaurant is an excellent place for travelers who would like to enjoy some quality time between flights. I especially loved the delicious fish and chips sold here. The service is also great, and a seat beside the giant windows overlooking the runway is a treat.

Breakfast Before Cruise

By gwen k |

Several menu items and very reasonably priced. Nice view of ship while eating on the outside patio. Had the breakfast sandwich. Enough to share and only ten bucks.

Good, inexpensive, fast

By Silvia R |

We were staying across the street at the Marriott and needed a quick meal as we were starving. This place hit the spot. Fish and chips and shrimp cocktails were so good. The fish was lightly breaded, thank goodness. I get so tired of fish and chips that are mostly breading. My son ordered the shrimp cocktail twice, they com'p the second serving! Guys that work there are really nice, guy from Phoenix was so friendly (and nice to look at!), it was a great experience after a long day of travelling. The patio offers a nice view, too-we could see up and down the boardwalk, including the ferris wheel.

Great location for a quick seafood lunch

By SeaMariner22 |

I am a frequent diner at this great location - love the shrimp Caesar salad. Service is prompt and prices fairly reasonable for a tourist destination.

Pricey menu…but expected…in airport!

By KMW-FL |

We had a long layover at SeaTac and ventured to another terminal from where we arrived to find this restaurant. The hostess (2) did not seem concerned that we stood right in front of them without their acknowledgement for about 3 minutes (even after I tried to get their attention) while they carried on their conversation….then finally we were seated. …and waited…for our server to be found by another server. Glad we had the LONG layover. Once we gave our order, the service improved; however, the amount of food compared to the prices was not in line with each other. We both had two fish tacos w/tortilla chips and water to drink and the bill came to $46 without tip. The 2 stars is for the food which was tasty…couldn’t give more because of price and service. 

Great Food and Fast Service

By VacationJunkie001 |

We were staying at the Marriott and wanted a quick lunch before sight seeing. Really good seafood and the beer was cold. Service was friendly and we got good advice on what to order. Free Shuttle picks up for tour of Seattle in front of restaurant.

Mediocre fare, subpar service

By 802guy |

Trout and eggs breakfast was just ok. Egg came raw and had to be re-fired, which I can forgive, but the simple dish took 1/2 hour to come out of kitchen in the first place. Waitress was not terribly friendly and inattentive. Would not go back.

a reasonable choice if you have to eat at the airport

By sazeracker |

I often grab a bite at Anthony's in the Seattle airport if in need of a meal while traveling. Anthony's has a fairly basic fish house menu with reasonable (good, but not great) quality seafood. Fine choice if one has to choose from the airport options, but probably would not search it out otherwise.

Airport food

By Troy A |

A friend told me to try this out on my flight back home. Had the cod fish and chips. I didn't think it was that great, just average. The fish desperately needed salt. I had hoped the food would have been above average.....it wasn't.

Waited 50 minutes, left without being served any food.

By Vrqqqm |

Stopped in between flights. It was 10:30am, we were seated quickly, our order was taken then we sat and waited and sat and waited some more. Our waitress was helpless, the kitchen didn't put out our or anyone else's food for over 50 minutes. We were told it was the change of meals between breakfast and lunch so no food comes out when that occurs. It would have been nice to know before they sat us! I said something to the manager and hostess on the way out but all I got was a dumbfounded look, no response. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Great lunch

By Pete Carstensen |

Had some extra time so wanted to get one last blast of seafood before leaving Seattle. Anthony's Seafood Bar was perfect to pick up some fish and chips and some prawns. The wait was short and the food cooked perfectly. Medium priced.

Ate at the seafood bar outside the main restaurant. Loved it!

By Rocklin_Reviewer |

My wife and I were on vacation and just luckily were in the area when we decided lunch was in order. We split an order of salmon and chips and a bowl of chowder while sitting outside with a view of the harbor. What a great meal! The fish and chips were quite good. The chowder was Excellent, easily the best restaurant chowder I've had in years. It was so good we were enthusiastic to see they had a restaurant at the airport where we had a repeat meal before our flight home - and we loved every bite.

An excellent meal at the airport?

By richard1s |

An enthusiastic YES! Flying home through Seattle Airport we stopped at Anthony's for breakfast; you can't miss the place - the sign and entrance is huge! And how surprised we were to have such a great meal at an airport restaurant First, the service was super friendly; the waitress could not have been nicer. And our breakfast was so yummy - my eggs benedict with fresh salmon and hash browns was absolutely outstanding. If you are in the Seattle airport, do yourself a favor and give this place a try; hard to imagine anyone would be disappointed.

Tasty fish and chips

By trekie86 |

The fish and chips definitely stars the fish. The batter is light and flaky with great flavor. The fish was hot and steamy and just held together. The fries were nothing special and that was a but disappointing. Good tartar sauce. The meal rounded out well with some tasty beer. The service was okay and it was a but ridiculous they said they were full with a dozen empty tables.

Overpriced

By gumsan |

The fabled American stories of big servings never got to Anthony's. The portion was small but the cost didn't match. For my order of fish and chips there was the advertised 3 pieces but these three pieces combined didn't amount to much and with the chips, which were actually skinny fries, left me still underfed. My wife ordered the prawns and chips. There was supposed to be six prawns but it was only we started we realised there has only been five. As we had already started eating we felt we couldn't complain as it would be hard to prove. I gave it two and not one as the fish was decent. Chips to be called chips by the way shouldn't be skinny fries but should be a decent chunky size.

Fresh and Fast

By Jetjouster |

Great little menu. Fast Fresh and Friendly. No better location. Ling Cod, Sour Dough Chowder Bowl and burgers rule. As does the Poke Bowl.

Just ok

By Chris B |

My wife and I are staying at the Marriott across the street. Arrived around 2pm and the place was empty on a Thursday afternoon. Person who took our order was unfriendly. Ordered the cod with chips and cold slaw. $28 kinda spendy. Order took about ten minutes even though it was just the two of us. Chips were ok but the cold slaw was uniquely delicious.

Not What I Expected

By shjaan72 |

I visited Seattle in 2016 for our 25th wedding anniversary we are here the night before we left for our cruise and it was absolutely delicious. Not only did it taste well you could tell their was special attention given to each plates appearance and the quality was much better. The food was not bad by any means; however with calamari I had fish potatoes and asparagus, my husband had poke and we shared Creme Brülle. I had a water my husband a German white beer. The check was close to $150.00; with tip $180.00. Honestly the OUTBACK was better. While the fish was fresh and flaky and asparagus tender and sweet the mash potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. The Creme Brülle was cold; lumpy not smooth, and the crust was harder than it should've been and cool. Disappointing.

Great unexpected stop. Delicious Fish Tacos.

By mrose414 |

We were trekking through Seattle and had just escaped the throngs at Pike Place where we felt it was too frantic to try to eat. The mahi mahi and rockfish tacos were absolutely delicious. We were able to eat outside on a beautiful day. Great unexpected stop.

The best clam chowder I’ve ever had!

By nray2016 |

A convenient place to eat when staying at the Marriott across the street. And come on, you can’t beat the view! The clam chowder was excellent, and the grilled fish plate was also very good! It is a little pricey, but worth it for the quality and convenience of the food.

great food

By Cherylann T |

Anthony's is a very nice place, great food and wonderful staff. The area is very nice with a lot of statues and water sculptures. Will definitely go back.

Pricey but delicious. Best fish & chips we’ve ever had.

By shamrockarse |

This is down at the pier so prices are a little high. But it was well worth it as Love you husband said it was the best fish & chips he’s ever had. Breading was wonderful and fish was white and not fishy. Fries were well done.

Excellent fish restaurant in the airport

By Levita D |

At first I was hesitant to order fish here since it's in an airport and I am a little doubtful if it will be fresh, but since I can see their kitchen I gave it a try. I ordered to go "Fish and Chips", I saw the chef battered and fried the fresh fish, and it turned out to be soooo good. I ate it while watching the sunset at SEA-TAC airport. It turned-out to be a very good experience while waiting for my flight.

Over rated, never again!

By Iona C |

We usually don't eat at airports as we find its very hard to find great food but we had a delayed 10 hour flight. We decided to try Anthony's ordering the cod and chips and a corn taco with grilled fish. Its expensive but we had heard it was worth it. The ordering and pick up line is not well set up so a bit confusing. What a huge disappointment, very little fish, mostly batter and my corn taco was in many pieces with a piece of fish the size of a chicken nugget. I took my taco back and asked for a refund after they told me that they do not heat their corn tacos, what? I couldn't get a refund because we had thrown the receipt in the garbage when we grabbed napkins. I ended up only eating the fish they gave me .Needless to say it was a over priced and the diarrhea we both had that evening made me wonder.....

Excellent hot clam chowder

By KristenS_11 |

Great location and pretty quick service. This place can get busy. Beyond good clam chowder although super hot. Rockfish taco not much to write about. Very small piece of of fish.

Anthony's Fish Bar

By CherylDave1967 |

You can eat outside, with a good view bay. The menu was satisfactory and the food good, a decent place to sample a bit upscale menu while in Seattle.

Fast Food on the Waterfront

By Jennyanndiana |

This was one of our first stops after arriving in Seattle. As others have noted, the clam chowder is worth the stop alone. We also enjoyed the walking shrimp cocktail. My wife had a salmon taco. It tasted great although there wasn't a large amount of salmon. I had a variety platter--the prawns in particular were very good. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the boats and ships in the background.

Lots of visits here

By Nate C |

i have always enjoyed the rockfish taco's, they also have salmon and halibut. Can be a little slow at peak hours but it is worth the wait.

Seafood (a real restaurant) in an airport - not bad

By T9-Orca |

Anthony's has a take-out window (not super-fast, but still good), but this review is of the restaurant - it's a real restaurant inside the terminal, serving high-quality seafood, well prepared, as well as breakfasts (some with seafood, some standard). It's not super-fast, but they do know people are catching flights, so they try to accommodate your schedule. This is the best seafood restaurant in an airport that I know of (with the possible exception of Legal Seafood in Terminal C at Boston Logan Airport). If you have time available, this is the best place to get a real proper meal inside security at SeaTac airport. One note: Prices for breakfast (the breakfasts I've had) have risen over 30% since 2015 ... so it's still worth it, but not cheap.

Good food...

By 2PrincessesandaFrog |

Had the chowder and an appie. Both were delicious. Split a fried seafood platter. It was very greasy, and bland, and there wasn't a lot of fish for the price of the dish. Our child enjoyed the garlic bread, and her meal. Overall, I would probably order a fresh seafood dish, and avoid anything fried at this restaurant next time. It did have great appetizer prices, but it's hard to find a place to sit in the bar as there are very tables, especially if you have children with you.

Best spot in the airport

By Brian O |

Everything was fantastic. Clam chowder, crab salad, crab cocktail... TV's to watch the games while waiting for flight... good selection of beer.

Anthony's

By Philip S |

Stopped in for breakfast on my way out. The omelet was good, but small. The potatoes were crisp and the coffee kept coming.

Excellent seafood

By Madeline P |

Perfect restaurant suggestion from our Lyft driver. It was a little pricier than we were hoping for, but the food made up for it. It was so good!

If you don't want to sit down, visit the To GO area right around the corner

By Daryl L |

Hint: If you don't want to sit down in the main restaurant (& save a few $), goto the takeout/informal fish bar just 75ft south. Same great fish & chips, mahi/rockfish tacos, chowder, etc. & you can sit right next to the main restaurant folks (that paid more $) out on the sundeck. Or if you're willing to walk 5 blocks north, you can have a GREAT picnic lunch at the Olympic Sculpture Park (with benches along the waterfront or a covered area with tables) enjoying fine art AND a Zillion $ view. After enjoying your meal - its a quick 6 block hike to the Space Needle/Seattle Center/Exp Music Project for more Family Fun!

Can't rate the food, no service

By dave w |

I had to walk out without even placing an order because the service is so terrible. Wait staff simply walks by slowly, zoned out. Got up and left!

Very good alternative to fast food

By pieroinusa |

Service is fast. Fish tacos were tasty and came quickly. A bit messy, so do not order if you want to stay clean. Decent wine and beer selection. Good for watching people going by. Friendly service. For a quick airport meal, a good choice

More Tasty Fish and Chips

By David T |

On another layover in Sea Tac, I had to have halibut in chips. Anthony's did a great job. They were hot out of the deep fryer. They were not made until I ordered them. The price point was around $18 which is comparable to other restaurants in the airport. I enjoyed my meal. It was quick, easy and tasty.

Quick bite by the water

By Jane429393 |

Counter service with ample outside seating. Great clam chowder. Lobster roll did not have a lot of lobster, too much lettuce.

The waiter through our souveniers in the bin!! Shocking!

By Stewart@fromengland |

We spent an hour or so here today enjoying the glorious sunshine. We were allocated to a 'waiter' named Sam. He served us our drinks and when we were ready to go he delivered the bill. We went to the cash desk to pay and Sam met us there. From the start he was clearly unhappy about the tip. He screwed up the receipt, barged past my wife whilst shaking his head and through the receipt in the bin. We didn't leave the building straight away as we needed to use the restrooms. Once we had left, I realised that we had left some souvenirs in a bag on our table. I quickly rushed back to the table but they had gone. I asked the front of house manager if they had been handed in. He then checked with Sam, who then awkwardly went to the kitchen, shaking his head again. Obviously knowing what he had done, he called the front of house manager to the kitchen. I then saw the manager going through the bins. Incredibly, Sam had decided to steal our souvenirs, take them out of the bag, and though them in the food bin covering them in food. He not only stole but damaged our souvenirs. He never even had the manners to apologise. An awful experience and an equally awful waiter. Some people should not be in hospitality.

The facade is the nicest part of this restaurant

By Daryl C |

I must say that after a waiting list of more than 15mins, our expectations were high! The chowder was more flour and potatoes than fish, my wife's Tempura Prawns was more batter and oil than prawns (for 4 prawns, you pay USD22!), my Alaska Halibut was over cooked! The service looked like they had all been hired at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft, after retirement and the service was as slow, since their wands had been confiscated! Overall a very disappointing experience!!!

Fresh seafood

By mom22sons |

Had a great dinner on the water in Seattle. The trout is very fresh and came with a citrus chili sauce that was very tasty. The fisherman's platter was full of fish, onion rings, fries and calamari. Cooked to perfection. The BBQ prawns were tender and delicious served w roasted potatoes. We finished up dinner with a dessert of huckleberry cheesecake and fresh berry cobbler.

close to perfection: not an easy airport thing

By Curiositeam |

Anthony's is a safe heaven, not a hidden one, but a satisfaction in the purgatory...the salmon salad with berries is savoury and so are most of the local dishes a la carte.fresh, with a stunning view and very spacious, very welcoming with a price/quality ratio that scores hight.again, you don't expect this at an international airport and positive surpriser are always a gift.

Terrible food and super slow service

By Traveler mom |

We went to this restaurant in our way to catch our flight. We had to wait 45 minutes for the food to come, and it tasted horrible. Seriously, the food had no taste or untasted. Our flight was delayed, but imagine if didn’t, and we were still waiting for our food to come. My husband said that honestly the food doesn’t taste any better than the airplane food. We didn’t even eat half of those plates. I do not recommended.

Waterfront Fast Food

By CTaaB |

For our first meal in Seattle, we grabbed a quick lunch here shortly after checking in because it was very close to our hotel. I had Salmon & Chips and my husband had the Cod and Chips. Both were tasty enough but the salmon was definitely best and was a nice twist on the usual fish and chips. We sat outside on the deck which was pleasant and, being extra hungry from the long flight, this meal was satisfying, just not exceptional. Nevertheless, Anthony's Fish Bar was a good spot for a quick lunch and the prices are very reasonable (especially considering it was fresh salmon!)

As good as airport food gets. Watching open kitchen was much more fun than TV

By heckfy |

A very good place to eat at SeaTac airport. Cooking at the airport is hard. The space is expensive and bringing it ingredients is complicated, so most restaurants end up building a fancy seating area and basically warming up pre processed food behind the wall. These guys keep it nice and honest. They have a bar around the open kitchen where the whole kitchen crew is working and you can see exactly how your food is made. Frankly, the crew was great, they were doing nice work and talking about life - looked like a good reality TV show, so I didn't want to leave. If you don't like bar seating - there are some windows to look outside if you want some view. The food good. The sour dough bread was not the oven fresh, but this is what you normally get in the airport, otherwise the chowder, the beer - everything was well done. The staff was very professional and the service was good too. The prices are reasonable, but you can get even better deal if you take seafood to go from the side counter. Overall, I really liked it.

Very good clam chowder

By chrispalmer |

We stopped in for lunch at Anthony's and we both had the clam chowder, one had the white, one the red, both were very good, the red stronger flavoured than the white and were served with a large portion on sourdough bread and butter, an excellent light lunch in a pleasant location by the sea

Outdoor Seating, very clean,

By rubyredvette |

There is outdoor seating and the area looked cleaner than expected. Food was good and we enjoyed sitting outside to people watch. I noticed an employee stop what he was doing and tidy up the area. He picked up loose bits of paper and even tided up he wood walkway adjoining the Restaurant. I am not sure if he was the Manager, but if not he should be considered for the job. It makes it so much more pleasant to sit outside and not see trash swirling around. The young man's name is Diego.

GR8 View, Food & Service

By Bchgrl9 |

We got up from our table at the Alaska Restaurant near the food court and walked away because of poor service and limited menu for lunch. We got seating near the window overlooking the planes, excellent service, many food options and reasonable prices for an airport restaurant. We could see and hear the musicians who played as the plans came & went from the gates. The burger was cooked perfectly. fries crisp & tasty and even a dill pickle. Service & views of planes was gr8 and we weren't rushed.

Best Crab Legs

By Minneapolis_MNLegs |

We stopped here for dinner on a Sunday night. We were seated outside immediately. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I had the broiled halibut and it was quite good. My husband had the crab legs, and they were sweet and the best he has ever had. the meal came with rice, and that was mediocre, but the seafood made up for it.

Anthony's at Seatac Airport, a welcome haven

By Sharon C |

Nice meal, and a welcome haven in this busy, crowded airport. Nice glass of wine, and sliced steak with a great sauce, and lightly steamed green beans. Great, great way to start a vacation and spend a layover! Wish the restaurant offered a little sink for weary travelers to wash their hands...would have saved us a trip down the terminal to find restrooms.

Little Disappointed

By Zach J |

I got a recommendation from someone to come here and try their fish tacos and I was pretty disappointed. Their was so much sour cream in the taco that you could hardly taste anything else. Also, the meat was very juicy and dripped through the tortilla shell. I had a decent beer there, but overall try to find someplace new.

Yes, very good!

By JohnJovi |

The clam chowder, fish tacos and bread pudding were all very good. Friendly staff. Good choice of craft beer.

Good food but the surcharges and sugar taxes are too much!

By PNW Life |

Too bad that we have to pay such high surcharges for the increase in the minimum wage of $15.00/ hour for their employees. Also Seattle has a sugar tax and the cost of any beverage with sugar in it is sky high!.....Doesn't encourage me to want to tour Seattle again any time soon........

Great food and view

By bu1larry |

Love Anthony's Fish Bar! Right across from the Marriott, right down the Waterfront from the Seattle Aquarium. Amazing food, great service with usually super friendly & helpful staff. Great views, great food a couple of decent tap beers....

A little blackened halibut made my day

I love this place: staff are fast serving customers, food is made with love and care and it is all professional, chatty and fun! Anthony's is a well oiled machine. How lucky for us!

Appreciate the dining experience

By DonnaS |

Ok, so we stopped here on our way to another downtown Seattle destination; our experience was in the category of "let's see what this is." We're at the end of November. This particular site is a fish bar, which to a visitor to the area means a no-frills, but delicious meal to our midwestern palates. The food was the absolutely the best. Salmon tacos, panko-breaded true cod, etc. This site is set up as a to-go, yet still offers a few tables inside. It's a cold and rainy day, so we stay in. And sure, it's kinda cold inside, but yeah, still worth it.

Excellent seafood with changing specials! Quick walk-up bar or full restaurant.

By William K |

Had three soft shell tacos (wraps): salmon, rockfish and mahi mahi, all fresh and lightly grilled with cabbage salsa. Amazingly good. Three seating options: full restaurant dining, a separate walk-up bar and sitdown place, or lots of central hall tables nearby. Take the food to the 100 foot high glass wall, sit in a rocking chair and watch the planes take off.

Awesome fish n chips!

By Kim D |

Excellent location off Pier 66 in Seattle's water district. Weather cooperated allowing us to sit on the patio in February! Terrific Alaskan cod fish n chips. Lightly breaded and not greasy. White clam chowder in sourdough bowl was filling and delicious. Super disappointed with the poppy seed coleslaw. Nice and crisp cabbage, but tasteless dressing. Excited to go back and try the clam strips.

Excellent Fish & Chips!

By cindymahn |

We stopped on the way to the Seattle Aquarium for a quick bite and Anthony's did not disappoint. My boys, not big fish eaters, even loved the fish and chips. The clam chowder was really good too and served in a big bread bowl. I ate the Caesar salad which was also good.

Almost as good as the real Anthonys

By kcwifle |

this resturant is also at down by the Seattle waterfront and next to Point Defiance Zoo. The clam chowder in the bread bowl with ceaser salad is my favorite. Follow it up with their amazing Baily's mousse. (mousse may only be at the actual restaurant locations.

Fresh & delicious seafood

By Meera Joshi |

Beautiful location on the waterfront. An ideal place for a quick tasty meal while sightseeing. It's located next to Seattle Aquarium & the Argosy Harbor Tours & 2 road levels below Pike Market Place, so schedule in a visit before, after or between visiting these places. We had Clam Chowder in a sour dough bread bowl & fried prawns - both excellent & highly recommended.

Disappointed

By AnnElizabeth97123 |

I've eaten at other Anthony's restaurants (and loved them) , but this one really disappointed. Had to wait 15 min for a table when the restaurant was less than half full. They were out of the shrimp cocktail. Daughter ordered the shrimp and chips, but fish arrived instead with melted plastic wrap in the fried batter. And the waitress seemed totally unconcerned. I order grilled mahimahi tacos that arrived wrapped in wax paper that was soaked in grease. (???) The only good thing was the Baileys Chocolate mousse dessert - you must order this. I expect apathetic waitstaff and expensive, marginal food at the airport, but this was even worse than expected. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Good food friendly staff

By markf |

It is a cut above standard airports stops. There is some variety of fish options and the fish is fresh. While I was ordering two airline pilots came up to order. They said they always come to the fish bar when they fly into SeaTac. I will plan on doing the same. I appreciated the staff person working the counter. She worked quickly but took time to be helpful if you were not sure what to order. Her friendliness was very welcome in the rush of the airport. A great find in a busy airport food court. The food court seating and table area is clean and pleasant enough but you are sitting in a very busy airport terminal.

Review for Anthony's Fish Bar on 2201 Alaskan Way in SEATTLE

By Bubuflu |

I noticed that a lot of people left reviews for the Anthony's Fish Bar located inside of SEATAC airport, even though 2201 Alaskan Way is located by Pier 66 in the heart of Seattle's waterfront. I'm assuming that's because the airport location doesn't actually come up on tripadvisor, or at least that I can find. That being said, this review is for the Anthony's Fish Bar in Seattle and not SeaTac. Anthony's Fish Bar is a walk up location in the same building as Anthony's Bell St Diner and Anthony's 66 fish house. The reason for 3 locations at the same place? Fish Bar is walk up counter for a quick bit, Bell St is casual dining, while Anthony's 66 is fine dining. The Fish Bar has a limited menu mostly serving fish sandwiches, tacos, and chowders. It's a very convenient location, being street side and easily to access for many conventioneers. The food is good and not going to break your pocket book. The blackened fish tacos are great! Wait time is usually pretty good, although this location can get packed depending on cruise ships, and or conventions that are in town.

Great Lunch before flight home

By Todd G |

Had a 2 hour layover from Anchorage at Sea-Tac and we stopped at Anthony’s for lunch. They have both sit down dining or then bar. Then bar is seat yourself and you can order off the menus as well. My wife and I had their Clam Chowder and sourdough bread and it was amazing. Rich and think loaded with clams, bits of bacon and potatoes and it was only $9.95 / bowl with a side of sourdough bread for $2.45. Got out of there for less than $30. Prices I would State are $$-$$$. Totally recommend Anthony’s if you’re stopping through Seattle.

Awsome place

By W F C |

Great food, their dungeness crab cocktail its awesome!!!! so its their clam chowder, great location and prices!!!

Seasoning was good, nice atmosphere…but all seafood was overcooked and not worth the price

By Shauna M |

Tries to be a fancy restaurant, but not quiet there. Food seasoning was ok, all the fish was dry overcooked (everyone in the party). The scallops where very chewy and over cooked. For the price you pay, and for being on the peor, you would expect them to be able to cook seafood. The atmosphere was very nice, and clean. Service was good.

Outdoor eating or take-away

By Norma M |

We were walking down along the Waterfront and came across Anthony's. This is a sub-entity of Anthony's Pier 66. I think it is rather new. It was really a great meal and very casual....just what we were looking for. We had fish tacos with a mango salsa and they were tasty. We ate outside on picnic tables overlooking the harbor. Perfect!! The cooks behind the bar were very nice and accommodating. They even directed us where to stay for our Uber ride pick-up.

Great Chowder!

By GinaS |

We had a few hours at Sea-Tac and decided on Anthony’s. We were pleased to be seated immediately. My husband and I decided on the bread bowl of chowder and Caesar salad. Our daughter had the poke bowl. Our drinks arrived quickly and refills were offered frequently. Our meals were not far behind. The poke bowl was exactly what she wanted, though we weren’t sure what all of the accompaniments were. Our chowder was fantastic! We had fun pulling apart our bread bowls to share with our daughter. The Caesar was nothing special, but was good. Even though servers were turning over, they didn’t miss a step. It was a great break and meal during travel.

Decent fish food

By mona428 |

Had a quick fish and chips lunch in Anthony's. The food was tasty but surprisingly all was being made at the back restaurant rather than at the front which was odd. Having sterile frying units behind the counter empty and bringing the food from elsewhere was an odd experience.

Excellent food and Amazing view!

By JacquiSanDiego |

I've been to other Anthony's restaurants and had average expectations. This restaurant blew them out of the water, from the hostess to the bar tender to our server everything was top notch. The beer selection was good and the food was amazing!! We sat outside on the balcony facing the water on a perfect 75 day, clear and gorgeous. The menu is pricey but totally worth it. I will definitely be back.

Amazing fish taco and fresh salsa

By NCTime |

I love fish tacos and this one was excellent -- one of the best I've had anywhere. The fruit salsa (pineapple, mango?) was so fresh, the rockfish, too, and it was a big piece inside a fat tortilla. The tomato salsa was so fresh, too. It was so unexpected to find this quality at an airport. The man next to us had the fish and chips and he said they were the best he ever had. We ate at the "Bar" which is take-out and very affordable. They have a huge sit-down restaurant next door that we'll have to try next time.

Good fish and chips at the airport

By Tom |

Had some time before my next flight, so spent some time enjoying some tasty fish and chips. Start with a warm basket of sourdough bread that was delicious. Price wasn't bad for a sit down meal at an airport.

PRICEY BUT GOOD

By Lloyd P |

In between flights & had extra time so sought out Anthony's as looking for a seafood meal. I had a cup of chowder which was excellent & both of us had the cod and chips. Three good size pieces if fish & lots of fries and both very good. The cup of chowder @ 7.69 & fish & chip[s @ 16.75 per plate were quite high but this is typical of airports where they have a captive audience. Service by Jamal was very good. Would stop here again if looking for a full meal between flights & knowing no free meal on the upcoming long flight.

Yummy

By welshdragonwrecham |

Enjoyed a meal sitting outside watching the activities on the water. So nice to have shrimp, calamari, etc on the menu and not just cod. Well worth the short wait as the food is freshly cooked to order. A very pleasant way to enjoy lunch and pass aw ay the time on a sunny afternoon.

Nice Lunch Before a Long Flight

By Eric P |

My son and I stopped in for a late lunch before a long flight home. It took 20 minutes to get a table and the service was slow, but we didnt mind since we had a long connection in Seattle with plenty of time to kill. Normal circumstances I would have been irate. We started with the clam chowder which was pretty good. A bit chalky though. My son had the London broil. I had the alder planked salmon. Bother were very good.

Just OK

By mapa |

the Mahi tacos were very good, the white chowder had some kind of weird spice, the fish and chips was extremely greasy we had to blot it in napkins. we asked for pepper and they didn't have any!

A Good Place to Pause and Eat at SeaTac Airport

By P1313 |

Anthony's has good seafood, salads, and drinks without the excess noise and bustle of many airport restaurants. The food is good, Wi-Fi is available, there is room to work, and you can talk without shouting. In the central shopping/eating area where several terminals come together, it also is convenient.

Airport location

By runnergirl080 |

Wow. A must stop. We went to the express side, to save time (and it was cheaper). So tasty and satisfying. Blackened salmon Caeser salad...you'd never know it was airport food, except for the black plastic bowl it was served in. Clam chowder, best ever and filling as usual. Great fish tacos. Quick service.

Terrible Service

By Jen L |

Very slow and rude service. Never got the bread we ordered and had to ask 3 times for my iced tea. After waiting for half an hour for food, asked server for an update and discovered he never put the order in.

Disappointed

By Debbie W |

States one of the best airport restaurant on the sign. All food was bland. Mahi mahi tacos, prawns, fish and chip plate. The waiter also tried to upsell us at every turn and it was very obvious. Would not waste your money.

Bonus at Sea Tac Airport

By Hirene |

We ate an excellent meal while waiting for our late nite flite to NY and enjoyed the fresh red salmon that was on offer. The portions were perhaps a bit large to eat before flying - huge salads and I was tempted to have their special berries and cream on shortcake desert. Lovely bottle of Riesling, and we flew very well indeed. Excellent service and most pleasant sitting in front of large glass wall as the sun was slowly going down.

Long layover - Go to Anthonys for Lunch

By BozemanMike |

The wife and I had a long layover at Sea Tac so we chose to have a casual sit down lunch at Anthony. Great choice. Everything is fresh, expertly prepared and the prices are not outlandish. The salmon burger was exceptional and the service extraordinarily attentive. The big plus is that if you get a table by the big window, you can watch the airport hum.

Disappointed

By DCNative_4500 |

Read the reviews and was hoping for a great meal. Got the Shrimp Mac n Cheese - 'cause it sounds awesome - and what I got was a pretty good mac n cheese with little bits of tasteless chopped up shrimp. If they had billed it as just mac n cheese (and charged less than $17 for it) it might have been a good stand alone dish, but to be literally ON the pier and not get good seafood is very disappointing. Another member of my party had the Thai Noodle salad and couldn't eat it because of a foul taste. Great service and nice view - too bad about the food.

Great food - big surprise

By Lisa G |

Was on a layover in airport and tired - chose this restaurant over many others and was glad I did - had bbq shrimp and boy, they were delicious - also had a jumbo shrimp cocktail which was perfect - cold and huge, great food - great service - next time I plan my travel I will try and ensure a layover here so I can return! (Great view with floor to ceiling windows to see planes!)

Delicious!

By Krr1975 |

Stopped in for dinner on a layover. Had the Fish n chips. It was excellent!!!! Price was spot on for what I received, which was a good portion. Service was fast and friendly! The friends I was with had the cheeseburgers and they raved about them as well. Would definitely recommend!

Just ok

By Ken R |

Stopped at the airport Anthony’s inside security at Seatac airport for breakfast. No line, which was nice, but the breakfast taco is a messy handful. Recommend getting the salsa on the side otherwise your next stop will be your dry cleaners. Good service. Good staff.

Take out or eat in!

By Carol T |

Had breakfast sandwich take out one morning and then a casual lunch on the wharf on another sunny day. Nice selection of both food and beverages. Very friendly staff.

Hardly any fish

By casamoir |

Ordered the crab salad. Honestly could hardly see any crab. There was probably less than 1 oz. I'm not a big fan of waste or large portions but this wasn't enough to feed a kid. Service was awesome tho.

Enjoyed the seafood

By Indotraveller_10 |

Very nice place if your intown looking for. Healthy eats. Th hostess was not very cheery but the waitress we had was super nice. Service did take A bit to get going but the food was good Price is ok

Seattle Standard

By Ciolli_Gleaves |

Anthony's Fish Bar is a Seattle standard. Unfortunately for us locals, it is also loved by the cruise ship and tourist crowd in the summer. Service is fast, food is made fresh and if you time it right, there's usually seating outside on the pier where you can people watch and boat watch at the same time. Try the Fish Tacos with mango sauce. Or go with the standard fish and chips, the clam chowder is amazing too.

Waterfront seafood house in Seattle

By Brian T |

Anthony's Fish House/Grill on the waterfront was a very good place to watch the sun set over the ocean. Dungeness Crab cake's were to die for, and a simple piece of blackened salmon over a salad proved to be a nice lite dinner with top of the line ingredients. It was a bit pricey, but the service was excellent and the view spectacular.

Big line but no table

By Steve Lewis |

As the airport is under construction, the place does not offer any seating options. This sis a shame as you want to hang around to find a seat. Everyone is very nice and helpful. You get served pretty quickly. The food is OK. The soup was a bit tasteless. The tacos was nearly impossible to eaten as a take away. All ingredients went into all directions. Advise is to get at least 2 tacos as 1 is not enough at all

Worst fish and chips

By Philip B |

I ordered fish and chips to my error. The meal looked great but that was it. The fish had so much batter. It was literally batter with a tiny amount of fish. I literally peeled off the batter and then was left with a dot of fish. The batter is not that great that i would make a meal of just batter. The chips were simply McDonald's type crispy over salted thin chips. I saw other people with nicer food but wandered if their's just looked nice or if in fact actually tasted nice.

Flavorless tacos

By Amy B |

Convenient location but very mediocre food. Fresh ingredients but the mahi mahi taco was very bland. The clam chowder was tasty but not worth a special trip. Go for the view and location - not the food.

Ticked all the boxes

By ricmarknic |

We wanted somewhere a bit special to eat after our 14 day RV trip and this was it The location upstairs was fine if a little chilly Oysters clam chowder, halibut fish cakes,Pacific duo of salmon and halibut washed down with sav blanc ... oh nearly forgot , strawberries and chocolate cake for dessert Seattle is an expensive city so this was certainly going to cost It came in at just short of $160 It’s not a price I would pay every week back in the uk but for a special occasion on holiday it was worth it

Relaxing

By Chris Wilson |

This place is in a lovely location on the Seattle waterfront. It was a warm summers night and chose to sit outside which was lovely. The food was OK. My partner had the red clam chowder which I tried and agreed that it was very average and didn't taste all that great. For a main we had their blue plate special and the shrimp Mac cheese. Both were nice but nothing fantastic. Staff were lovely. If you are looking for a casual eating place - yeah ok. Fine dining - no. Food as I said was average. Nothing wrong with it but pretty forgettable.

Didn’t see how dirtyint after I ordered.

By MrJhg |

The place had to have been short staffed. We waited in line for the girl to take our order since the menu was appealing. After ordering , I found that there were no clean tables, all trash was overflowing and the floor had standing water. Instead of changing trash cans, an employee was placing trash from the work area in the already overflowing customer cans. There were also flies. We had paid so we waited for our food. Prawns, clams, cod and fries. It was tasty, but the portions were small. We did not see that right behind Anthony’s was a nicer seafood restaurant that could not have cost much more. We won’t be going back.

Don't waste your time

By Brian426v |

Stopped in here during a lay over in Seattle. It looked promising from the outside. Unfortunately, lunch ended up being a study in poor efficiency and bad food. The cod was overcooked, dry and bland. I had to put ketchup on the fish like it was fish sticks in grade school and I still couldn't choke it down! Save your money and avoid if you can.

Excellent place to eat

By Arquebus |

We were visiting Pike Place in Seattle and went here for lunch. Service was efficient and the staff friendly. We had fish and chips which we enjoyed and as the weather was hot, we sat outside to eat.

Seatac Airport

By 5er5ter |

Good view of runways from airport location had the halibut fish and chips which was in season and were very tasty. Fish tacos with grilled halibut were even better. The shrimp salsa with chips was an excellent choice for an appetizer. Drinks moderately priced for location. Two main courses, appetizer, and 4 drinks for a little over a $100 not bad.

Best Lunch

By Elizabeth S |

We ate here 3 times and when we returned from the cruise had lunch there before heading to the airport. Food is so tasty and served HOT. Staff was so pleasant and smiling. They are extremely busy but always smiled. Great food with a great price. Wish we could have brought the fish bar back to NY with us.

A little quicker.

By Robert L |

If you have only a little time stop in here rather than the big restaurant. Fewer choices but it is all good.

Manager didn't correct after his mistake

By The O |

We had a reservation (4 weeks prior to dining) for a group of 16. Somehow, anothet group (no reservation) of 16 came walking off the street, and the Manager gave away our table? Took forever to get us seated (in two obscure tables). The bar waiter was assigned, he tried but the experience was 1 star (gave him 2 stars because I felt sorry for him). In the end, it took forever to get our dinner. The manager responsible for this problem did NOTHING to recover. It was a terrible service and food experience. I don't recommend.

2 hour layover

By Susan Lee W |

We had oysters entree and a sole fish entree. Both were delicious. Service was fast and friendly. I sat opposite the counter watching all the food coming out. Everything looked scrumptious. I wish I could try everything.

Great fish place with superb views

By David S |

Had a great dinner of wild salmon, crab cakes and sturgeon - all the fish tasted amazing and was quite varied. The wine list whilst quite small had some exceptional local / regional wines at quite affordable prices. The view over the bay was idyllic watching the ferries and boats coming and going. The only thing we missed was the 'All you can eat prawn' special on Monday - Thursday in the downstairs part of the restaurant which is something I would have liked to experience!

$100 for two, but worth it!

By RFA2249 |

What a great meal. Started out slow, 15 minute wait to be seated. Once we were seated the server was very attentive, the drinks and appetizers came quick, almost too quick! Then in the perfect amount of time the main meal came. Long cod was delicious, simple but good. The broccoli was perfectly cooked. Very full, very delicious meal!

Great way to spend a layover

By fdprincess81 |

Got a seat at a table in the bar. Service was great. Food good, had the Cesar salad and salmon cakes. I always stop here when on a layover and am never disappointed.

One of the better places in SEA

By axs666 |

Of course it's not as good as Anthony's outside in the real world. But for the airport, it's pretty good. Probably the best choice in SEA.

Layover

By focker40 |

Best place in all of SeaTac for a bite to eat, a drink and nice view of the runway. Service is always friendly and prompt. Good wine list, beer list and a menu that should satisfy most people. Reasonably priced.

Good value, very fresh

By TheDad50 |

This review is for Anthony' Fish at SeaTac airport. We had the cod fish and chips. A serving includes 3 nice pieces of cod, freshly battered and fried, and lots of french fries. All prepared well, not too greasy, and a small table allows you to people watch at a very heavily traveled section of the main terminal. The price is good for an airport and counter service is fast. Step up from the usual fast food hamburger and enjoy Anthony's.

Would not eat there again

By tjssadie |

Got the fish and chips. Did not like it. Bland flavor. Seemed like it sat there a while. I had a bite of friend clam chowder which was good. Cheap fast food. The women's bathroom exploded when I flushed it when I walked in. Water shoot everywhere. Needless to say, I used the bathroom somewhere else. Would not eat there again. The restaurant upstairs may have been better.

Popular pop in for those on go!

By llhtexas |

Convenient pop in for those who don't have time to dine in. Pro - Food was freshly cooked; Con - a long wait for on the go service.

Great chowder

By AuntVinTN |

My friend and I stopped for a quick bite before our shuttle service. We had the fish taco with a cup of chowder. It was delicious. Our bar tender gave us quick and friendly service. I recommend this bar if you enjoy a taste of seafood.

Better Than Expected

By 1natureseeker |

We got the Cod fish & chips from the bar area. It was really good! The tarter & cocktail sauce was good also. There's not a lot of seating around the bar area, but there's more seating just around the corner in main part of airport.

Airport Location

By BeachloversIowa |

We were starving from 2 flights and we asked a massage guy in airport where we could eat that was something different than fast food. He said Anthony's in the marketplace ( main area). We got a table right away and had a very efficient server. He suggested ideas that we loved and even enticed us into dessert, to share of course. Our main entries, were the trout, grilled and delicious. You have to try this instead of ordinary airport food. 👍👍

Lazy lunch

By PhoebeNJ |

We had over 5 hours to kill at the airport, and decided to spend a couple of hours here. Even though the service was a bit slow due to the high volume of people being served, we didn't mind. The food was quite good although slightly pricey due to the lack of competition, but what can you expect when we're a captive audience.

Quick Bite Before Flight

By Dawn D |

Enjoyed Dungeness Crab Salad before red eye this past week! Asked waitress her recommendation & the salad was superb! Tanginess from grapefruit set the whole salad off! Wait staff very attentive even though it was near closing time. I will definitely stop by Anthony’s in the future.

Yummy fish tacos!

By Mala1984 |

We had an enjoyable dining experience out on the patio with the nice view and breeze. I would highly recommend trying their white clam chowder, fish 'n chips and especially the blackened rockfish tacos - delicious!

Chowder was awesome

By Ken F |

I had a very quick cup of chowder from Anthony's at the airport. To get a table took about 20 min but being there early for the flight meant more options to go and eat. The service was very fast and efficient.

Most visit!!!

By Martha C. |

It was so delicious. We stopped on the way to the airport to dine in.. food was perfect and the staff very attentive. Will be back in December 2016!!!!

a layover and a filling delicious meal

By cbo1870 |

I had clam chowder in a bread bowl . I got the Caesar salad with shrimp before the soup . Everything was great . The waiter made the recommendation and I thanked him several times for that . Great place to eat in concourse A .

Great location, food good

By Boggybill |

We enjoyed the halibut taco and cold beer, but the fried fish was not flavorful. Would not order fried again. Great location. Kid meals available, but our order-taker messed up our order and charged us for adult fish baskets the kids couldn't finish. Overall good, not great experience.

Pretty good

By BeachStone2C |

I had Alaskan Fresh Salmon in Anthony’s Fish Bar. The fish was well prepared. However, I had to wait for it a long time and the service overall was less than top notch. A bit noisy seating area, but that’s acceptable in an airport environment.

So fresh and great chefs!

By elaine s |

I enjoy watching the chefs cook fresh fish and all the fixings. Anthony's is a bit upscale and they offer fine food served beautifully with care. I love their blackened halibut, pineapple salsa and sourdough bread.

Bland, pricy tacos & laughable service.

By trishgh |

We were between flights & stopped first at the take out area of the place. The person behind the counter seemed irritated by my questions on the menu. Trying to find out if tacos meant 1 or 2...he suggested that we go into the sit down area of the place. We approached the hosts, 3 standing there. The two ladies standing there were discussing a scarf one was wearing. They never made eye contact. The third was a young man, with his cell phone in his hand who looked up at us and asked, "do you want to sit up there in the bar?" We agreed, and he pointed up to the bar, and told us to go up there and pick a table. He did not seat us, so I grabbed a menu that was on the podium and we seated ourselves. Our waitress was working very hard and when I mentioned to her that the staff seating people had plenty of time on her hands she said, "that's where they put all the new, foreigners who don't know what they are doing". Fish tacos were fair, bland and needed more flavor. Husband and I split the meal as we just needed a snack. Clam chowder was good, served hot. Cost us over $30 for 2 tacos and a small cup of soup, 2 waters. My advise, try the other fish place.

Good quick bites at SeaTac

By dabsii |

For 10 plus years I have been dropping in for a quick bite on my way out of Seattle. I am a fan of sitting at the "chefs table" so I can watch the action. My usual order is halibut fish and chips or mahi mahi fish tacos. Consistently good for airport food.

Quality Flies High at Sea-Tac Airport

By Peachpit01 |

Anthony's Fish Bar at the Seattle-Tacoma Airport is one of those hidden gems that shouldn't be missed. Anthony's is a Northwest US institution with a well-deserved reputation for quality. It has a full-fledged location, with full-fledged prices, at Sea-TAC. But tacked onto the end of it--separate line, no seating but using the same kitchen--is its Fish Bar. Only serves a few items but, oh those items. We had the best fish-and-chips on our trip there, coming home from Alaska. In fact, better than those we had in Alaska and they were great in the 49th state. Good portions too. Bottom line. You don't have to do fast food at Sea-Tax and it won't cost that much more.

Celery Cocktail

By LindaSeattle |

While walking around on the Seattle Waterfront, I decided to order a "Walking Shrimp Cocktail" to take home for dinner. You can imagine my surprise when I did get home to find that the container was filled almost to the top with celery and MAYBE 1/4 C shrimp. I feel sorry for the tourists and cruise ship passengers who go there and get ripped off. The one good note is the server - Noah, was very friendly unlike the person who I assumed was the manager (dressed in a shirt and tie) who was unfriendly and scowling. NOT a good experience!

Excellent food, slow service. Still well worth it

By zzzzdoc1 |

Had a great, though very rushed meal here between flights. The clam chowder was superb, as was the salmon fish and chips and salmon fish tacos. There was a big line, and the hour between flights just flew away. That being said, definitely one of the better airport meals we've ever had.

Good chowder

By lckirkwood |

Had time before take off and ordered cup of chowder. Creamy and thick. New England style. Strong bacon taste. Waitstaff said allow forty five minutes for the service so I went to the take out counter.

Good Fish and Chips at an Affordable Price

By Tech_Zilla |

I've had fish and chips here (downtown) a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. Portions are always fair - especially the fries (lots). Also the serve-yourself tartar sauce is a nice feature. You can't beat the location and view of Anthony's - right on the pier overlooking the bay.. not too bad at all. For an affordable fish and chips take out option, Anthony's does it pretty good and is usually my choice for F&C along the water in Seattle.

A treat

By alsolly |

Airport restaurants are . . . well, you know. Not this one. I ate at the counter, which overlooks the kitchen, which provided a great diversion for this solo traveler -- along with first-rate chowder and succulent fried local oysters. It also gave me a view of just about everything this restaurant offers and its preparation, and I'd go back for any of its fresh fish offerings or (a personal fave) its mussels, which I watched pan-flipped to perfection. Service was a little unfocused for an airport restaurant -- time matters big-time at Sea-Tac -- but my layover was long enough to make that only a minor annoyance. A really fine, and unexpected, taste of Seattle.

Delicious! Anthony's has their own fishing boats, so all of the seafood is fresh and very well-prepared!

By jmmyers2015 |

Try the shrimp, crab, and artichoke dip with crusty French bread as an appetizer (or pair it with some of the red or white clam chowder and a salad for a light meal!) The red clam chowder is soooo good and filled with clams! The prices are amazingly budget-friendly, the service suburb, and the food delightful!

Great seafood while in transit

By Raj B |

My wife and I ate here during our recent layover in Seattle. The fish was nice, but the chowder was great! The price was decent as well. I grabbed a couple of tacos from the "to go" side, so there wasn't much of the restaurant experience to be had sitting in the common lounge, but I'm sure if I had the time, I would be happy "on the inside" as well.

YUM!

Great little place to grab a bite. The clams were some of the best I have ever tried. They were served with seasoned fries, We also had prawns which were disappointing. They were just shrimp.

Terrific salads and breakfasts at a nice restaurant which happens to be at the airport

When I have time, I love to go and get their seafood salad- its really delicious. They are also good for breakfast-- timely ( important for an airport restaurant) and fresh ingredients. I also like their breakfast burrito in the morning.

So Disappointing and Dirty

By MelSeattle |

We had a short bit of time before taking our out of town visitors to the airport and were down on the Waterfront in Seattle. Since we were on a shorter schedule, we decided to do the walk-up Fish Bar at Anthony's so we could all have some great fish for a late lunch. It was a beautiful sunny day and they had 3 people behind the counter but only two customers eating when we arrived (ie, not busy.) We ordered and then went to sit. It was then that I noticed how filthy the entire "restaurant" was. This location is a walk in area off the sidewalk with a nice roped off area to sit outside if you like. The concrete floor was littered with . . . litter. Drink cup lids, straws, used napkins, ketchup packets. Every table we went to hadn't been cleaned and was covered with food leftovers. Chairs even had dried ketchup all over them. Our food became ready in all different shifts and we overheard the staff complain about the amount we had(n't) tipped them. Our bill was over $150 and we had tipped them 15% before they did one thing. Some of the food was fine, nothing special, but some arrived not hot and character-less. The mahi mahi tacos were sadly nothing to write anything special about. Since we had to go next door to the main restaurant to get our parking validated, I took the opportunity to tell the hostess there about our experience and I received a bland "I'm sorry." Very, very disappointing especially since we had taken guests there for what should have been a fun, delicious fish experience.

O.K. food, TERRIBLE service.

Terribly overpriced food in the seated cafe area. Strongly recommend that you order at the take-out counter and pay half for the same food that you are served on paper plates in the cafe. We were graciously seated by the host but our server was, how shall I say, NASTY! It was Christmas evening when we chose to eat there as we awaited a connecting flight and I realize that no one wants to work that night in particular, but, if you are in food service, you need to do your job.

Good

It's alright, can be better. But over all pretty good. I should not go here for a birthday dinner but on a casual day then sure

Worst fish taco EVER!

By Robin A |

I was really looking for a great fresh fish taco - which Seattle is known for. This place is right along the water so I figured I could get a fresh taco here. WRONG! The taco shell was so dry and brittle that it literally broke into little pieces - and it wasn't even fried! Then I got a 1 1/2 inch piece of fish that was over-cooked and dry. The cabbage slaw inside was only partly covered with sauce. I literally took one bite and threw the rest of it down the toilet. The fries were so greasy and way over cooked as well. Terrible. Absolutely terrible!

There are 3 Anthony’s restaurants

There are 3 Anthony’s restaurants, so make sure you have the right one. Most of the pictures attached to this restaurant on this app are of Anthony’s Pier 66, which is a related but very different restaurant. Anthony’s fish bar is fast-food Street-level fish and chips type of place. Nothing special and not particularly fast or friendly but it was conveniently located so we had lunch.

Disappointing

Usually I order the clam chowder at Anthony's but this time I wanted more of a meal and tried the Alaska 'true cod' fish and chips. The french fries tasted like something you would buy at a gas station and the fish had been cooked in oil that was not hot enough. The fried oysters weren't as good as expected, either, but the fresh oysters were very good. The next time I am in Sea-Tac, I will stick to Anthony's clam chowder.

Had the Halbit and Chips. 18.00+ at the take away, 26.00+ to sit down. Staff? Only one young lady that was friendly with the patrons. The other 4 or 5 in our area acted like they hated being there. Not a pleasant lunch. Not coming back here, Wendy staff better.

Awesome clam chowder!

You can choose the right floor based upon how formal you want to be: pretty casual at ground level; more sophisticated at upper floors. Fish food is fresh and very good; not extremely cheap. But recommended!
