Lots of gluten free choices

The Bell Street Diner has great staff, great food, great service and a great view. Watch the big wheel go around while you eat delicious food. Everybody in my party liked their lunch. Also, the free parking is a plus.

Exceptional seafood and good service.

By Frances B |

Great view of the pier from the outdoor tables. The food and drinks are expensive, so savored every delicious bite. The chowder is the best I’ve ever had.

Very good seafood prepared well. Fantastic view

By catman123 |

We visited Seattle for the first time. We asked a local about what would be a good seafood restaurant and Anthony's was recommended. We were not disappointed! I ordered the seafood duet which consisted of grilled halibut and grilled salmon. The fish quality was exemplary. The preparation was excellent. The salmon was firm and red and grilled so it had a great taste and texture. Same with the halibut. It was served with steamed broccoli that was firm as is should be. Garlic butter mashed potatoes with french fried onions topping it. My partner ordered crab fettuccine. Again, prepared properly and she said it tasted great. I also ordered a Ceasar salad which was wonderful. It had Parmesan cheese on top that was large "flakes" which really had a great taste and texture. I was asked if I wanted anchovies and I said "yes". They were long pieces about 3 inches and it really made the salad taste wonderful. Our waiter was attentive, prompt and just a really nice guy. Thanks, Ken for showing us a wonderful time :-) The view was great entertainment. We could watch ships, boats and ferries go by from our table. It was a wonderful evening and Anthony's made it that way.

Delicious

By Tanya B |

Double date with friends, it was very good two of us had the halibut & salmon, one had the sirloin. We had delicious clam chowder. The food was very good the views from the restaurant were beautiful and the staff was fabulous! We had dessert which was also wonderful.

Less touristy than most waterfront restaurants

By chaslin19 |

When we were in Seattle recently, we stayed at the Marriott Waterfront and Anthony’s was right across the street. We had made reservations the day before and were seated at a window table overlooking the marina with the ferris wheel in the distance. One issue with most Seattle waterfront restaurants is most menu items are seafood. No problem for me, but my wife is very picky and eliminated quite a few places because she couldn’t find any thing she liked. She did find something at Anthonys, but it was just an appetizer. My meal was good as I love anything seafood. Anthonys seemed less touristy probably because it was away from the main tourist waterfront area and it was a little more expensive, but I think worth it.

Not typical tourist restaurant.

By gwrosie |

We were looking for a decent restaurant with reasonable prices and not your standard tourist restaurant pushing them in and getting them out. We had the scrumptious King Crab legs with excellent service in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Don’t miss this place while in Seattle!

By Sheree U |

Fabulous restaurant! The halibut is out of this world, the seasonal salad delish and we finished off with the seasonal slump dessert, huckleberry cobbler! Incredible meal and service was wonderful!

The Best Smoked Halibut

By ikepuska |

The restaurant has exceptional food. We ordered king Salmon and smoked Halibut with rose vine. The dishes were absolutely perfectly made. The service was good, I wish the waitress was a little less hurried, Other than that we really enjoyed our dinner

Tourist trap

By Travis E |

I loved this restaurant 15 years ago, after moving away recently visited and the difference is stark. While still a great location the service was sub par and the food was fine, but we spent $400 on 4 people with drink and it was the quality of a chain restaurant. There are good dining options in Seattle, this is not it. Go to Shuckers if you want a good experience.

Great local knowledge

By StainesVoyager |

We have just got back from a lovely meal at this restaurant. I had the Hawaiian Cobb salad (without blue cheese) and my husband had the bbq prawns which were delicious, washed down with the rose Sangiovese. The highlight of the early afternoon was the local knowledge we acquired from Timothy. He gave us plenty of time and great insight into the workings of Seattle. Much appreciated, thank you, Tim!

Decent food, snarky service

By musclegirl68 |

Anthony's has lovely views and good food. Service, however, was slow and snarky. Our server was not in a hurry to refill water or soda and responses to our questions were snarky/snotty. But... the food was definitely good. We started with the Hawaiian Ahi nachos on taro chips! big chunks of sashimi grade ahi on crisp taro chips. Oh yeah! Husband had the dungeness crab fettucine which was loaded with crab meat. I had the Alaska Black cod, cashew crusted and served with corn bread pudding. The cod was flaky, cashew crust light and the corn bread pudding was creamy and sweet. Asparagus side was cooked al dente and very fresh. If we lived here we'd come back but avoid that particular server.

Best Deal in Seattle

By ShelSouthShore_MA |

We found the best early dinner deal in Seattle at Anthony’s Bell Street Diner right along the waterfront! It was a 3 course meal with a few choices for each course! We tried several and all were delicious , all the while watching the waterfront! They have a full bar with local beers on tap. The staff was so welcoming and helpful!

Visual and gastronomic feast

By Peebs1 |

Another amazing foodie night in Seattle- harbour front. The views from our table were a visual feast and the service and actual food just kept our delight going. The seafood deserves all the accolades and our son was very happy with his sirloin strip appetizer. My husband made happy noises about his beautifully fresh crab cocktail. I was thrilled to be offered a vegan squash risotto- colourful and extremely tasty. Perhaps the best gastronomic moment for our son was the crepe brûlée/ huckleberry cheesecake. His face while eating it said it all. Our wait person was attentive and accommodating- even providing olive oil/balsamic for my sourdough as well as regular butter for my husband and son. We had a memorable family gathering.

Wonderful food and view!

By SandyG46 |

We started our meal with wine, mussels and warm bread. From there it just got better and better. The scallops melted in my mouth. Tasted the crab cakes - fabulous! It's a bit pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.

Delicious seafood

By Patty1123 |

Definitely needed reservations to Anthony’s during our stay. We requested and received a window seat. We started off with a bottle of Abeja Chardonnay which was very good but a little pricey. My husband ordered the halibut and while it was good, he was disappointed that it was breaded. I had the Sockeye salmon which was great and prepared the way I like it. We topped off the meal with the Anthony’s Burnt Cream for dessert - incredible! The staff was polite and respectful.

Amazing meal!

By boilerjenni |

We had a spectacular dinner here while visiting Seattle. We enjoyed the views, the atmosphere, and the great service, but the best part was the food! The Copper River Salmon was out of this world! And the crab cakes were divine! The meal was expensive, but that's to be expected for an excellent seafood dinner in a big city. Worth every penny!

Great view, great food, great service!

By Laura L |

All around awesome experience! Great view, great food, great service! The salmon chowder is awesome and all of their seafood is great!

Recommend Anthony’s

By Michelle O |

Tonight we didn’t want to much to eat, we called into Anthony’s & was served by a lovely young man named Sam, he was polite & informative, we opted for the downstairs dining. I had the most amazing Clam Chowder, & my husband ha fish & chips which he said were great, because I had only order a small serve of chowder, Sam offered be another bowl as it is made fresh each day & would only get thrown out. I actually have to say, I thought it was better than what I had in San Francisco… & that was really good.

Worth Every Dollar

By susanvessels |

Went to Anthony’s Pier 66 for anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. Our server David was on it, the perfect blend of attentive but not overbearing. We expressed doubt about ordering the crab cakes since our experience has been way too much filler and too little crab. But we followed his recommendation and we were glad we did. They were maybe the best we’ve ever eaten! The house gifted us cheese cake when they discovered it was our anniversary. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.

Get the crab cakes!

By Cassidy L |

The crab cakes were delicious. We specifically chose this restaurant for its waterfront location. Definitely pricey for average portions, but we enjoyed.

Don't miss this!

By bcornell2014 |

We sat at the bar and had excelent attentive service. My friend and I had the duet, King Salmon and Halibut with a polenta pudding side, asparagus and various sauces on the fish. I had the Northwestern Old Fashion and my friend was able to sample a few local wines. She also had the pomegranate drop and loved it. Our waiter/bar tender suggested the huckleberry cheesecake for dessert. Everything tasted so good. We loved our visit to Seattle and to Anthony's.

NICE BUT WOULDN'T RUN BACK

By ANGELINA |

This is a nice restaurant on the water. A friendly staff takes your order upon arriving and then they bring it to your table. The menu isn't very big and the food was just ok. Nice experience but I would have preferred a bigger menu.

Upstairs and Downstairs

By Vivian M |

The restaurant has two sections, the downstairs serving casual food and the upstairs more formal meals. The upstairs also has better view of the water. The food and service at upstairs were quite good. My shrimps was slight over cooked, but tasty. The salmon dish was also quite delicious. We surely enjoyed the view while having dinner. Come early if you want a table next to the window.

Take A Wonderful Break on the Waterfront

By Bill V |

I love dining outside on the waterfront. We brought relatives from out-of-town with us and stopped for lunch in the middle of our walk around town. The salmon and rockfish tacos were a big hit, and affordable. We will definitely return again.

At last, well prepared fish.

By francissp |

Finally had a great meal. We started in Alaska prior to a cruise. Tried to find properly prepared halibut at a restaurant that we last went to in 1985. It was so overcooked. And the waiter made a point that she has never been vaccinated. In Seattle we tried halibut and black cod. Our waiter was Kevin. He was busy but friendly and efficient. The fish was very well prepared.

Very fresh

By Daniel D |

This restaurant was amazing. The food was fresh and used local specialty brands. The shrimp macaroni and cheese was great and the salmon was super fresh.

Such good seafood

By Janetlynn13 |

We picked this restaurant because we wanted something close to the aquarium and it had the best TripAdvisor reviews-we weren't disappointed! The upstairs restaurant is beautiful with big windows with a view of the harbor and Mount Rainer. The seafood choices were interesting and everyone loved there meals. Salmon was amazing, of course. Gluten free options available. Just realized that were at a sister location in Anacortes a few days ago! It's good to know that this chain is worth looking for in future travels.

Excellent Food and Service

By Brice H |

It’s been 14 years since I dined here last and was concerned with some of the mixed reviews. However, the food and service was as good or better than I remembered. We were seated on time and the table for two had a great view. Our server Nicole was very attentive and served as quick or slow as we desired. She also let us taste some wine to decide on the bottle we wanted for dinner. We had the anniversary oysters and champagne for a starter, which were excellent. The Manila clams were a good portion to share as a follow on appetizer. For the entre’, I had the Ahi tuna perfectly lightly seared and she had the halibut. Both fresh, well prepared and nice large portions. We had the mixed fruit cheesecake for desert. Overall everything from start to finish was excellent. We will dine here next time we visit Seattle.

Family

By Becky W |

Excellent! Really liked the Anthony’s NW salad with raspberries and blueberries. My small plate teriyaki salmon hit the mark. Dessert of crepe brûlée cheesecake was amazing. Best of all was the service and the view. My absent-minded professor husband left his credit card and the server ran out to the street to return it to us. Can’t thank her enough.

Excellent food with fantastic views

By Patrizia |

Service - we were looked after by Michael - extremely friendly; the food excellent; location - located at the port - definitely recommended! 👍🏻

Very good tempura batter hallibut

By Glen M |

Ate at the downstairs venue. The halibut was very good. The outdoor seating area was nice with shades that could be opened or closed depending on time of day and weather

If you don’t want fish or a hunk of red meat, go elsewhere

By Laurie |

Limited menu for those who are not 100% seafood people. I understand they are known for seafood. But it’s red meat or fish. No chicken. One squash dish. Good service. Clean. Prompt. Tempura prawns were cold.

Great choice for a seafood meal while visiting Seattle. The food and service were excellent.

By E B |

There were 5 in our party. The hostess was prompt, polite and pleasant. The food was well prepared and our waitress was great. The outdoor seating with water view topped off an excellent experience. Highly recommended if you are visiting Seattle.

It doesn't have Japanese search capabilities, but it's great!

By lahaddatulee |

I was worried because I couldn't find any reviews in Japanese, but everything about this restaurant is great! First, I stayed right in front of the airport, and it would cost about $70 to take a taxi to downtown, so I asked the hotel staff about a seafood restaurant nearby, and they recommended this restaurant. A taxi from the airport costs $27 + tip (a bit of a questionable taxi price). I went in without a reservation. The restaurant is located in the marina. It was delicious! It was especially delicious because it was oyster season! Oysters around Seattle are thin and small, unlike Japanese rock oysters. But they are delicious, just delicious! The staff service was also excellent, and I definitely want to plan my next visit.

Only the view

By WildWildeWorld |

The view was great! Everything else left much to be desired. Very expensive relative to the quality and preparation of food. We had four different fish dishes and they were all mediocre at best. Service was good though.

Friendly service and good food

By pjj89511 |

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The food was quite good. As expected, the is a great restaurant choice for fish lovers.

Fantastic waterfront seafood restaurant

By paul_ark_2014 |

The signature New England clam chowder is indeed a signature dish; it is rich & hearty, chock full of clams, bacon & potato. Their Dungeness crab cakes with coconut jasmine rice is spectacular; did not skimp on the crab!

Far too expensive

By DennyLong |

The food is very good, the kitchen understands its craft. However, the service is chaotic. Initially no table was available despite Reservation. Then the dishes of the starter were still at the table when the main course came. But this one was only warm.

Wonderful Dinner Experience

By Jason F |

My wife and I came here to celebrate a very important birthday. We were delighted with our selection. We did get there at 6:30 on a Thursday evening so getting a table was not a problem. We did get to be choosy and the wait staff was more than kind to accomodate us as we decided between outdoor or indoor seating. Our waiter, Nick, also rose to the occasion and took our photos on two different occasions - once inside and once outside. Thanks! Both my wife and I selected the Pacific Duet entree. This is a combination of King salmon and Alaska halibut. We agree that both of these were done correctly and we had a very tasty meal. Also on the plate were green beans and potatoes. The helpings were generous and we could not finish all that was served. As I had made mention that we were at the restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, the restaurant made our experience even more memorable by bringing out a chocolate trouffle dessert with ice cream and raspberry sauce. This dessert was absolutely tremendous! Our evening could not have gone any better. I recommend this place highly. I do want to pass on that for informational purposes the entrees will range from $30 - $42.

Excellent — both halibut and salmon were slightly over cooked

By Slabotsky |

My son and I had a delicious meal at Alfred’s Pier 66. Service was friendly and excellent. Oysters were outstanding as was the ahi nachos. The seafood chowder was very good — could have had more clams. We had halibut with huckleberries and salmon risotto as our mains. Although very good these dishes could have been outstanding if both had been slightly less cooked. The huckleberry I cream with huckleberries was amazing. Overall was very good with the potential to be outstanding, if the fish had been cooked 1 minute less each. Perhaps a bit picky but expect the food to be perfect

Great location, and fresh seafood.

By dean1rick |

A wide variety of fresh seafood, from fried to simply grilled. Large inside dining and a outdoor patio to eat and people watch. Service was prompt.

Not so good

By VACATIONLOVERNewYork |

Wanted to go to the restaurant but ended up on the first floor in the dinner. Just wanted some wine and calamari. Both were bad. Service was really good dough.

Great setting, food is good, not exceptional

By Skibum6969 |

Beautiful spot, as long as there is not a cruise ship outside blocking the view. Interior is very nice - wood, stone, booths are all welcoming. Food is good, nothing special, service excellent. You pay a premium for the setting.

Average food

By Jgram |

This place was recommended to me by locals. We stopped in for a late lunch in the bar after visiting Pike Place Market. Unfortunately, lunch was mediocre. I would not go to eat there again. And do not get the gumbo! It really should be taken off the menu as it has zero taste. On the upside, the location and view are lovely. Our waitress/bartender was lovely and very welcoming. Too bad the food didn’t match her warm personality.

Pricy

By Jennifer N |

Stopped in for lunch. Prices are high, you are playing for the location. Husband had a seared Ahi Poke and I a Crab Shrimp Artichoke dip. Both were good. Not very busy both probably would be in the summer. There are better further down the boardwalk.

Perhaps we had too high an expectation

By speedo12 |

We had been given a strong recommendation to go here and it fell short of what was a high expectation. Possibly because of construction work, it was an unpleasant, awkward and confusing walk from our hotel - so firstly we should have got a car. On arrival the Manager was very aloof implying we had come for the bistro downstairs not the restaurant upsatirs which we had booked. It was quiet and a bit lacking in atmosphere. However our waiter was excellent and guided us through a shared starter of crab cakes which were sensational, and mains of stunning quality tuna ( but too messed about for our taste ) and a fish stew , cioppino, which was lovely. Nice wine , a great local rye and introduction to huckleberries in a cocktail and desert. It was dark and raining so no benefit from what is probaly a great view. Overall the excellent food didn't make up for the overall experience of the evening.

Dirty, Disorganized, and Disappointing

By World Traveler |

At one time having lived just blocks from Anthony’s Pier 66, The Bell Street Diner was a great “go to”. Outdoor seating with a great city and water view, those things still exist. But today for lunch, JUST GROSS. For starters, even though there were at least 1/2 of the tables vacant, people were lined up at the door trying to be seated for lunch. For some reason the “Mr. Hostess” was completely unable to deal with the crowd of customers. Then, just looking around at the trash and spilled food on the floors in the main lobby, dining areas and the bar was a turn-off. Next, the bathrooms, GROSS, Obviously hadn’t been serviced for days, garbage everywhere, empty paper towel dispensers no toilet paper, and this was lunchtime not as if they had been open all day and night, could only imagine how this placed looked after. Big dinner crowd. So to sum things up, NEVER AGAIN.

Delicious food and great views of the harbour

By Mr.Sm1th |

This place is just a 15 min walk from Pikes Place Market and well worth it, the restaurant is really nice with excellent food and views to match. If you select the right time you might get to watch one of the Norwegian cruise ships sail away from the dock. Also the toilets were some of the cleanest I have ever been in.

Good Seafood and View of the Harbor

By tlahuele |

Anthony's is one of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. We had lunch there and the food and the service was above average. There is plenty of competition in Seattle for seafood restaurants, so to be above average is not easy. Anthony's is frequently recommended by locals, and that's a good sign. We would definitely return.

A must try resturaunt!

By Joy W |

We were staying at the Marriott Waterfront hotel which is across the street, and we were so glad we walked over for dinner. We ate in the upstairs restaurant, and we both really enjoyed the meal we had. The service was exceptional, and the food was amazing. We both had the salmon and said it was the best we have ever had. Definitely worth the price.

Best Location and Views of any Restaurant in Seattle

By TimTex |

Anthony's must be doing well because their 3 in 1 restaurant facility on the waterfront was very impressive. My family of 4 stopped here on the way to Vancouver to each lunch and then walk to Pike's street market. PROS * The views were terrific of the sound, cruise ship terminal, islands in the distance, sea life, etc... * Outdoor seating was perfect on a warm July sunny day * They had a fresh berry desert special that included a Blackberry cobbler that was out of this world CONS * Parking was difficult to find * Traffic in Seattle was a nightmare * Service was a little slow - it looked like our waiter was staffing many tables Recommended = Yes

Below average food quality

By Ken (haileythegolden) |

The restaurant is across the street from the Marriott waterfront where we were staying. Our family decided to have dinner at Bell street diner. The views of downtown and waterfront are great. But that is the only positive. I had the steak with pan fried oysters. The 6 oz sirloin had no flavour, no salt , no seasoning. The steak at Denny’s is better. One of the worse prepared meats I have ever had. The oysters were small and just okay. My wife had a cob salad, with tiny bay shrimp. It was okay. My son had the clams Raman soup, the Raman was adequate, for $20 you can have a amazing bowl if Raman at a small Japanese restaurant in the international district. My daughter in law had the poke bowl, she really enjoyed it. Overall, below average food taste. Service was below average. Server did not refill any of our sodas or ice tea. Hard to get his attention after meal was delivered

Never thought I’d say “too much butter” but. . .

By Smartgirl_10 |

Seriously. Too much butter. My scallops in lemon butter sauce with mixed vegetables was way too rich to be pleasant. It was fine for the first half of the dish, and then it just became too much. My sister’s dish of salmon was supposed to be with soy sauce and served with wontons, but that’s not what she got ~ miscommunication with the server, apparently, who otherwise did a good job. The vegan butternut squash risotto is the only vegan option and it’s not easy to find on the menu. It was a generous portion and good value for money, provided you like squash. It’s pleasant to have a view of the harbor and docks while eating.

Food better than service

By jantoby1 |

We had dinner upstairs at Anthony's a few days ago on the last night of what had been a super holiday. The mains came surprisingly quickly and were very tasty - my friend had the sturgeon and I had the salmon salad. To drink I ordered just a Sprite with very little ice. A glass full of ice and topped up - presumably with Sprite - was brought and the server moved off quickly. I caught the eye of the next server to pass our table and asked her to remove most of the ice, please. This she did, and I was enjoying my salad when she brought the glass back. Unfortunately she'd topped my glass up with soda water. I don't like soda water, even with the piece of lemon off my plate added to it. I didn't see her or the server again until I had finished eating. By the time I was able to say that I couldn't drink it, that it was soda water, and was offered a Sprite, the meal was practically over and I couldn't have finished a whole new glass. I refuse to waste food or drink, so said to forget it - it was too late. Disappointing, as the location was good and we'd enjoyed the food. If I visit Seattle again I may well go to Anthony's, but will try the better-staffed downstairs area.

Nice place near the sea side

By German G |

I eat an exquisite clam chowder and the crab dip with prawns also taba very good a highly recommended place to go as a family.

Unfortunate Experience

By ryjamieson |

We reserved a spot at the restaurant for our anniversary and my family’s birthdays. The location was beautiful and we had a great spot at the window. Unfortunately, the experience after being seated didn’t go well. My husband received a (unbeknownst) broken water glass which was chipped at the top. After taking a drink, he realized quickly the crunch was not ice and swallowed some glass chips. He immediately notified the waiter who apologized and who notified the manager of what happened. The waiter did feel bad and had a sense of humor about it which my husband appreciated. We asked that the manager come over to the table and proceeded to order and eat our meal. The food was okay, not outstanding, and fairly expensive like most of the restaurants here. At the end of the meal my husband asked again if the manager was coming over but the waiter said he was busy attending bar and would tell him again. The manager never showed up to apologize even after we waited up front at the exit, and we left with a bad overall impression. Our expectation was not to get a free meal, only an apology for what had occurred. Very unfortunate to have this experience on our anniversary.

Excellent Dinner and Views

By HoboRat |

Had an excellent dinner and the view out the window of the harbor and Mt Rainier at sunset was breathtaking. The service was excellent too. Everyone talks about Ivars and some of the other restaurants in the area but we had an incredibly enjoyable time here with excellent food and great service. If you can get here, it is well worth it. I'm not a person who picks apart a restaurant based on whether the steak has 8 grains of salt on it rather than 10. That's just incredible snobbery. I rate a restaurant based on the whole experience and whether I walked out happy and satisifed. We walked out of Anthony's happy and satisifed.

Very Disappointing

By Lori T |

Disappointed. We have gone to Anthony’s for years, mostly sitting in the bar over appetizers and cocktails. Have always enjoyed the place. But this time went with family for dinner. The experience was fine, but the calamari was no better than what I could get from the freezer at the local grocer. No taste, breading was doughy. I didn’t even eat half of it. And paid top dollar.

Great location

By Drew I |

I ate here with a large group and had a nice spot right by the window. The view is great, but the weather wasn't so cooperative. I ordered crab cakes, which are only on the appetizer menu, but they can make it a full meal by adding sides. The crab cakes were on the small side, but they were good. I think I'd try something on the actual main dish menu next time. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. The desserts looked great and everyone that ordered the cobbler loved it.

Nice dinner with a view

By hbhakh |

We had a very nice dinner at Anthony's during a short visit to Seattle. It offers a very nice waterfront view from the dining room. The menu is mostly seafood and everything we had was fresh and well prepared. I particularly enjoyed the halibut/king salmon combination. Our server seemed very busy so she wasn't always as attentive as I would have expected.

Great view of Bay

By Tony T |

We ate here for lunch the day before our cruise. We enjoyed the Cod with fries and slaw. We also had the Peach cheese cake which was very good. We would come back here again to dine.

Taking a cruise out of Seattle on the NCL

By kimrickcrawford |

From the manager, Willie to the server, David restaurant the service was excellent. Great view of the harbor. The food was excellent.

Incredible meal with an awesome view

By Easley123 |

This is one of the better meals we have had. It is pricey, but worth it for the quality of food and the service. It was highly recommended by a friend. I had the caesar salad, ahi, and burnt cream (crème brûlée)

Great view - mediocre food

By Mavourneen B |

Added a star for the beautiful evening and the view from the deck. Otherwise, the food was mediocre - had the "award winning clam chowder," which looked as though it had sat in the pot all day and tasted very glutinous and flour-y. The rice had clearly been placed in the plate well in advance of serving and was dried out, and the snow peas (which were beautiful) were over sauced with butter and garlic. The crab cakes were the only piece of the meal that appeared to have been freshly made. Next time, maybe just drinks on the deck.

What’s worse the price charged or the chef’s incompetence?

By jhX3466MB |

Anthony’s no longer is a family and friends spot to frequent. Though the bartender was excellent, she couldn’t make up for the lousy chef. There’s no excuse for a seafood only restaurant that’s been around for decades to serve raw Copper River salmon & charge $100 for it!

Quick lunch

By Vacationer |

Great fresh fish and seafood. Quick service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We tasted the halibut, cod and crab; all were scrumptious. My best dish was the clam chowder. Tender clams and creamy based was memorable.

Slow Service with I don’t care attitude

By DanoIII |

The food was good and seasoned properly (we had Halibut, Salmon and Steak). The device was slow with a I don’t care attitude. When you ask a server about a fish on the menus and the s owl and say it’s my least favorite on the menus - that’s bad training. The view from this restaurant is great though.

Good place for a snack or a meal on the waterfront

By JRBtrips |

Friendly greeting, great views, a comfortable place to take a break from strolling the waterfront. I had the gazpacho with prawns - wonderful! We experienced good, quick service and a nice atmosphere. A little expensive, but on par for the area.

Good food and great view.

By deutschth |

The restaurant is ideally located at Pier 66 offering a great view across the marina and downtown Seattle's skyline all the way to Mount Rainier (weather permitting...). The service was friendly and the inside atmosphere relaxed. The fish and chips were among the best I have ever eaten and even the accompanying salad was delicious. The price of the food is fair as well. Had a perfect stay and will be back.

Average

By fredbkk |

The crab chowder was disappointing as it was milky and there was not much crab in it. Waiters kept bumping into our table on their way to other tables, which was not pleasant.

Good food

By J L |

Ate in the diner section. You still get some views of the harbor. Had the chowder and halibut. Both were really good. The food came out quickly. We did not have reservations and were told it was a 15 min wait. They directed us to the bar. Just as soon as our drink order came our table was ready. Is this a method to sell more drinks? Happened to two other groups around us.

Great view, above average fare, average service.

By Joshua G |

I'd say the atmosphere was 9/10 , food was 8/10, but the service was not elevated above olive garden standards. It felt rushed, and lacked decorum. The server was frantic and overwhelmed. She met the steps of service but failed to elevate the experience. Of course this was placated by the view. I don't think I'd return since there are so many other options and for that price we could go to a true 4 or 5 star restaurant

Great views and fresh local fish

By ATeamBoys |

We ate at Anthony’s Pier 66 which is the top level and more expensive but great views. Food was delicious but more expensive than the same at other restaurants.

Great spot for dinner

By Kim John |

After returning from our Alaskan cruise where seafood was plentiful, we weren’t expecting much back on land. During our layover in Seattle we decided to venture to Anthony’s on Pier 66. We had a delightful meal with exceptional view of the city skyline including Mount Rainier. It was a wonderful time and had a great waitstaff. Would highly recommend this if you’re in the area.

Great food, great views

By Belinda C |

Great food on the terrace overlooking the sea, with the mountains in the distance. Can highly recommend. We had Dungeness cram fettuccine which was to die for, and lobster risotto which was equally goo.

Great food with even greater service

By Alyssa |

Anthony’s diner is the middle tier of a 3-tier restaurant series in Seattle (3 levels ranging from street food, a mid-tier diner, and a nice restaurant). I got mussels with pommes frites, my husband got halibut with vegetables, and we ordered a peach/biscuit/ice cream dessert. It was all delicious and our waitress was absolutely awesome! Food came out very fast (we didn't come when it was busy, though). I was very impressed with the service and food!

restaurant closed but we ate outside

By katrinangel2 |

The restaurant was closed so we had to order our food and sit outside. It was clean and nice to sit by the water. Would have liked to still have been served but the food was good. Maybe a few more pieces of fish for my "fish and chips".

Good chilled crab

By Ronald S |

I tried to find some fresh seafood on the waterfront and other places in Seattle. I saw some good options but the restaurant was closed or busy due to Mother's day. I had a 1/2 chilled Dungeness crab which was good and reasonably priced. The staff and bartender seemed like sometimes they were overworked and short-staffed but they tried hard.

Okay food for high prices - what's with the limited pub menu?!

By Ben_Smith |

We booked Anthony's over the phone but we were not told that we had to eat downstairs in the diner and the food options would be more pub-like - aka 3 types of fish and chips. We were excited to have a special dinner out during these times and we wanted to support a downtown Seattle restaurant. In general the food was good and our server was good but the menu selection was poor. There were few options and as I mentioned, not in keeping with fine dining at Anthony's. For example, they only had 3 desserts and they were out of 1. We had the blackberry cobbler and it was not good and this is a signature dessert for them. The mashed potatoes served with the salmon were average. There were very few snap peas on the plates and they were pretty greasy. They seemed to be out of drink glasses which was odd given how few people there were in the restaurant. I know that the restaurants are having a tough time but the way to get people in is to provide great food that they can't make at home. For us, it just fell short and everything seemed good but not amazing and when you are paying $330 for 4 people you expect better than just good. I would call and make sure that they have the full menu and that they have opened the upper part if you are going in.

Longtime favorite restaurant

By BicycleCat |

Anthony’s restaurants are always wonderful, but their Bell Street diner on the Seattle waterfront has been one of our favorites for a long time. Almost every table has a view, we like the booth type setting snd the quiet atmosphere where we can easily have a conversation and not be drowned out by all the noise. If I was to recommend one dish, it would be the wild chargrilled salmon bowl with ponzu sauce. The sauce is what makes it so delicious.

I spent more than I wanted to

By Dan de Padua |

We really only wanted to eat at the diner, but it closes at a very early 7:00 pm, so we were ushered upstairs to the much more expensive restaurant. Our waitress pushed the Copper River King Salmon, and I bit. It seemed creamier than the salmon I only recently had in Alaska, but at that price there HAD to be something good to say about it.

A great place for a special birthday dinner

By daisy32386 |

We picked this restaurant for the location on the waterfront and the view of the water. The staff were lovely and so accommodating with helping us celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday celebration. We loved our meal, the halibut was incredible and shrimp were so fresh! The atmosphere was nice for a special birthday dinner!

Best fish’s chips anywhere...

By BAHuston3 |

We had an amazing lunch at Anthony’s. I had the clam chowder and the fish’s chips. Both were amazing. My wife had the salmon meal and she loved that. We sat on the patio overlooking the bay/port. Beautiful scene. The service was very good. Enjoy.

Our first night in Seattle

By Fred H |

Someone suggested to dine at Anthony's so I made a reservation for two of us. We had a nice view from our table but we waited for about 10 mins before a waiter came. We ordered some calamari which was a bit too salty. The service was very slow, I had to wave a waiter twice to refill water. We had fish which was not too great and it was too pricey. The waiter hardly stopped by to check on us, maybe because we used sign language. Not too happy with the whole thing. Told our deaf friends not to dine there.

The automatic Surcharge left a sour taste

By David B |

We had meatloaf and cod & chips plus drinks. The food was fine but not remarkable. Our server, however, was outstanding. If you're going here, ask for Jack. He doesn't miss a detail and we enjoyed his genuinely friendly hospitality. I am a serial over-tipper and I was completely annoyed by the restaurant's automatic addition of a 2.5% surcharge which goes directly to the (presumably underpaid) kitchen staff. If you want to have your guests pay more so that you can pay your employees more, you should adjust your menu prices instead of making us feel like we were nickel and dimed. I see that this restaurant has mostly standard replies to negative reviews offering to have the manager get in touch. Well I asked Jack to ask the manager about the surcharge and instead of dealing with us at the time, the manager stayed inside the restaurant and sent a message back with Jack basically re-stating that it goes to the kitchen staff. Maybe the manager is tired of explaining this to people. I know I would be.

Great Birthday Dinner!

By Tom C |

Took my wife here for her 50th birthday. Great dinner, great views and great service. Our server brought out cake and ice cream for my wife. A great surprise! Will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family who are staying in the Seattle area.

Break from Pike Place Crowds!

By Lori C |

Were recommended here by concierge at The Mediterranean Inn (thank you!) After walking to Pike Place Market (and areas around there) on a crowded Sunday with long restaurant lines, we were ready to chill! Were going in to the nicer section, but so hot and sweaty that we went to the outside Fish Bar side. Perfect! Ice cold beer, fresh Panko dipped cod, and tried the higher priced clams (ones concierge rec.). First time for fried clams- wow! Food perfect! Even spoke with chef who came outside for a minute. Talked about frying seafood with us (we are from south- Louisiana and fry everything!) After a few more beers seated outside watching cruise ship preparing to depart, were ready to go buy a new suitcase (airline chewed mine up)!

Taxed on food plus gratuity.

By srtraveler41 |

Food and service at Bell St Diner was good. Billing unacceptable. Party of 9 had 20% gratuity automatically added which was fine. 10.35% tax added on combined food bill and added gratuity. That is unacceptable. Sent inquiry to restaurant but no reply.

The Diner was Just OK. Try Upstairs

By MIfamilyguy |

Trip Advisor seems to have a single listing for Anthony’s but it’s actually two restaurants. Formal (and expensive) dining is on the second floor. We ate at the diner which is on the first floor. Note that while they call it a diner it’s actually a pretty nice restaurant. Other than the difference in menus the main thing to note is that the second floor probably has better views of the waterfront. From the first floor the views aren’t that great. As for the food, frankly it’s not great either. Our calamari was soggy and the salmon seemed a little lacking in flavor. Service was good though, so the diner has that going for it. Be aware that the diner closes at 7pm. Would I go back? You’re eating here for the views of the water. I suggest paying the extra and eating in the restaurant and not the diner. Or look for somewhere else.

Beautiful experience!

By Judy Helm W |

I had the Shrimp salad with homemade dressing and the most luscious bread and butter ever!! My sister had the shrimp and crap salad and she said it was one of the best in town. The server was very good and the view was unbelievable. Judy Helm Wright--Author/PetParent/IntuitiveWiseWoman

Great food, great staff, great views.

By Richard F |

We sat outside on the deck and had great views of the city and waterfront. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the crab cakes. Amazing. I had the Ahi main course, also amazing. Great wine selection, mostly from Washington which is nice to see. Definitely will go again.

Fantastic Anniversary Dinner

By TwinCityTraveler |

The Team at Anthony’s Pier 66 was welcoming, friendly and professional! They truly know their menus and how to pair the right beverages with the great selections of seafood, meat and vegetable entrees. The atmosphere is perfect for intimate and or social events. A great stop in Seattle!

Delicious!

By bonnie k |

Great service, great food. We enjoyed the fresh seafood, the views and the unhurried service. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine and she did a great job. Make a reservation

No smileys here

By JGranborg |

Actually disappointed - when we ordered the table we asked for a table with view but got a table near the kitchen not in first line - despite several free tables. We started to leave the table - and yes they gave us a new one - with the lovely sight the resturant can provide. Actually the food was okay - one very good serving - but the tempura scrimps was heavy and not interesting. The major complain was the service - and thats the most easy thing to do well - 3 persons meeting you in front no smile - from the beginning a bad experience - and it continuet - no smiling service - not because they were in a hurry - actually it all cried for leadership with entusiasme . You have the place - but you need to do it better if you want smiling guests

Lovely view good food and wine

Sat outside with a gorgeous view--ambiance was lovely. Food was delicious, and staff was just-right attentive. Would recommend.

Seattles Best Waterfront Restaurant

By capemaytraveler |

We dined at Anthony's twice. Once for lunch at the downstairs diner and another time at the upstairs restaurant. Its a nice looking well decorated restaurant on the Seattle waterfront .At the upstairs restaurant the food is superb. The Dungeness crab cakes, and Grilled Shrimp with Pesto sauce, had a nice presentation, were both well prepared and were outstanding. Dinner for two ran us $119. The downstairs diner selections are more basic, still quite good and about 1/2 the price of the restaurant. This is really a great place to dine and I'll rate it Seattle's best waterfront restaurant and if you drive there, the parking is free. .

Good street side food

By Mary Beth L |

We had fish tacos. They were very tasty, well spiced and generous. The restaurant is on the pier. It is set up for a self serve quick stop. On a sunny warm day it would be a lovely outdoor place to eat. We were there on a cold rainy day so we ate inside where the atmosphere except the water view out the windows is minimal. Even still it was a good place to duck out of the rain and have a quick lunch.

Excellent but not quite perfect

By Robicsek |

We were at Antony’s Pier 66 twenty years ago and I had good memories. We returned today to have a simple late lunch and opted for the simpler Diner. The place is still excellent, service was impeccable, and the view is gorgeous as ever. The two of us shared Anthony’s Cobb Salad which was fresh and crunchy, and a huge portion even for two. The BBQ Garlic Prawns and the accompanying potatoes were very-very tasty. The only problematic dish was the Silver Salmon with Tomato Basil Butter, the salmon was overdone and dry. Drinks were good.

Absolutely delicious!

By Elizabeth C |

We loved our dinner! Great service and excellent food. The lobster risotto and Caesar said were definite highlights. Service was great!

Awesome service, excellent quality, great location!

By Michael |

This was a nice surprised - the place is right on the waterfront and we didn't expect much. But the interior is very modern and fresh, the menu is great and the service is simply outstanding. We enjoyed appetizers, mains and dessert but most of all, we enjoyed the waiter who was friendly and genuinly enthusiastic about their menu. Almost as side note: the food was really nice as well. Amazing salmon, great mahi mahi, excellent, almost fluffy cheesecake. Thank you!

Anthonys Bell Street

By Kevin C |

We ate at Bell Street today. 4 of us had shrimp gumbo, ketogenic salmon, and halibut. It is difficult to say which was better. They were all delicious. The crem brulee cheesecake was also fabulous.

Good for its category

By Alessandro R |

Prefaces: There are still dining restrictions and social distancing at the time of this writing. This is not an upscale joint. Bad side of jasmine rice was globby and gummy. Price and portion Presentation Good Tempura Halibut Tartar sauce French fries Salmon with sundried tomatoes Sweet chili sauce Service Slaw Adherence to Covid guidelines Easy to find My wife and i are definitely restaurant enthusiasts and until this slaw, the question "how's the slaw, honey?" was always met with a profound "meh" or a look of stern disapproval. The same was true for tartar sauces. Anthony's tartar sauce and their slaw both impressed her! What a rarity. My tempura halibut was fresh, flavourful, moist, fried to the correct temperature, crispy, and came apart in big, beautiful flakes. I ignored the tartar sauce and dipped the fish in sweet chili, which was a delight. The fries were crispy, and thoughtfully crafted. The salmon was fresh, had a delicate flavour, and was great quality but not presented particularly well. The sundried tomato and other toppings appeared careless, did not impress, and the salmon was a uniformly pink slab on a styro plate. The service was unimpeachable, and food arrived quickly. Anthony's was very disciplined when it came to making sure social distancing was respected.

Okay place

By stray_stay2022 |

Service here wasn't the best, and it was even during a busy rush. There weren't a lot of customers in there to make the service so slow. Was confusing where to go when we first walked in. 1 sign said wait to be seated and right next to it said go to 2nd floor to get seats. After being seated server took awhile to come back to us and didn't ask for our drink order until we told him what we wanted when we ordered food. Gave us the wrong order then never checked on us after giving the right one. Then took awhile to get the check. The food was normal. Nothing fancy, and the seafood was better at the pike market

Anthony's Bell Street Diner Worth a Second Visit

By Pam G |

We ate here twice-once on the way to Victoria and again on our way back. The food was so delicious the first time that we returned. Nice seaside patio and the service was outstanding. We definitely recommend this restaurant!!

Great Place! lived up to the hype.

By marc b |

My wife and I ate there on a recent trip to Olympic National Park. It was the end of our trip before heading home. The food was excellent, our waiter was very nice and the meal was relaxing and unhurried. All the things you hope for and rarely get these days.

Luxury

By Charles S |

Having visited the bustling Pike Place in the afternoon my wife and I walked along the water frontage to Anthony's Pier 66. The restaurant and bar is located right on the harbour frontage where the enormous cruise ships anchor. After enjoying the busy marketplace my wife and I enjoyed our cold drinks sitting quietly at a table outside on the boardwalk in the hot sun with a cool breeze - luxury!

Wonderful lunch

By TonyD33 |

We stopped off here and ended up having a great if slightly self indulgent lunch. Service was great and the food lovely. Location is excellent being on the waterfront. Not a cheap place but well worth a visit.

Yes to the macaroni, but not the gumbo

By dg2014jg |

There are 3 areas in this restaurant which was very convenient because we were not attired for the fine dining upstairs but wanted a cool place to sit which was not the walk-up outside, so the casual eating inside was perfect for us. The waiter was attentive but the food was what we came for. The macaroni with Beechers cheese was so light and easy to eat but the shrimp gumbo could only be rated as good when compared to Louisiana gumbo which could only be rated as excellent. We would go again but would want to try some other options.

Quick and Tasty

By jsnana |

At Bell Street Diner- We had the fish and chips. It was excellent even after having fish and chips several times this week different places. While I prefer tempura crusted my husband prefers the panko crust Anthony’s Bell provides. This is crisp crust and flaky fish. Crispy fries.

Excellent service

By Neil T |

Was able to walk right in to Anthony's on an evening that Mt Rainier was clearly visible. Lovely setting. Dinners were excellent. The clan chowder was a little disappointing. Some of the clams were quite chewy. The server also didn't seem to be at the top of her game. I found it interesting that they add a 2 1/2 % fee (specifically stated that this is not a gratuity) for sharing with the kitchen staff. I was always under the impression that tips were divvied up with kitchen staff anyway.

Great local food

By Douglas W |

The seafood tower offers a variety of seafood and beef. The clam chowder was good. (Lots of clam chowder in Seattle). Enjoyed the salmon and halibut fish. Service was attentive and friendly. Restaurant has 2 levels, with an elevator. View of the harbor.

Perfect ending to our vacation.

By bcornell2014 |

This meal was the conclusion of our family's first real vaction since 2016. After week in Alaska on the NCL Encore, our expectations were exceeded by the service, food and accommodations made for our family dinner at Anthony's. Thank you all!

So bummed!

By jama80 |

This place is so overrated. I had business clients along with my wife with me on this trip. First we went upstairs to wait on a table downstairs where I put my name in. We waited nearly 20 minutes before any server came to us and asked for our beverage order. Then we waited 15 more minutes for them to bring the drinks. I then went downstairs and told them the situation and they had scratched my name off the list as we missed our table. Everyone, and I do mean everyone in this restaurant we’re not attentive to the customers needs, and quite frankly were rude. I used to be a fan of Anthony’s. This was the last straw and I won’t be visiting any of the Anthony’s locations any time soon.

Great service and good food

By Lady Hiker |

We were really hungry and had been touring the area all day. We walked and decided that even though this restaurant was right next to the cruise ship and was probably going to be touristy and overrated, we would stop anyway. It was quite expensive, but definitely worth it. Our waiter friendly and explained the beers were all local. He let us taste two of them and we decided on the Scotch Ale. It was so good. We shared the calamari and it was typical. I had a seasonal salad which included julienned rhubarb...so different and full of flavor. My husband had the Caesar. I had the king salmon because it was in season and only 6 days into the fishing season. It was a bit undercooked from what I typically cook it at home, but it was really well done and the correct portions. The cornbread fritter served with it was...oh so good. It was more than $225 after all was done, but worth every penny. Service, view of a busy working harbor, clean, and professional. We would return here...not as touristy and definitely not cheesy even given it's location.

The service was wonderful

By Dani |

On my last day in Seattle, I decided to look for clam chowder. I googled some places, and decided on Anthony’s Pier 66. I went in and right away someone greeted me and took my coat (I think he might have been the manager). He was super personable. I sat close to the window, the view was lovely. The waitress was great. I ordered clam chowder and calamari. The clam chowder was delicious, it had bacon in it. The calamari tasted a little undercooked. I recommend for anyone solo traveling.

Great harbor views

By Shelby L |

We chose this place for dinner on the recommendation of the hotel where we were staying. We were seated next to a window with great sunset harbor views. The waitress was prompt and courteous (though it did take almost 10 minutes for her to bring my soft drink (I watched it get watery sitting at pickup station of the bar for at least 5 of those 10 minutes)). I had the Northwest Seasonal Salad and a cup of clam chowder. Both were very good. My wife had the crab cakes and was also pleased. Overall, I'd say that this is a very nice place for a romantic dinner, with good food, a nice atmosphere, and great harbor views.

Great food and attentive, friendly staff

By David T |

Walking along the waterfront, we decided to have a late lunch at this place. We chose to sit outside as the sun was shining, and it was warm. The waitress showed us to a table and presented us with menus. She returned quickly and took our drink and food order. I had fish and chips (cod) and my wife salmon with ceaser salad. The fish was very fresh, as was the salad. It was really good value for money.

Yummy

By kathy s |

We had beer & chowder.. Both were good. Our server Kianna was fabulous.. She actually had the chowder ready for us before we ordered.. She was really paying attention to her customers, she heard us decide on the chowder. We were very impressed

Good but not quite great

By Donaldswim |

Large modern restaurant in a good waterfront location. Food was fine but not quite as good as expected. No major complaints but some dishes were over complicated in design and not that well executed. No major complaints but we have been to better seafood restaurants in Seattle

Good Fish but high priced!

By Debbie |

This restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel, and we wanted fresh seafood for our last night in Seattle. I requested outside seating when I made the reservation but there was nothing available when we arrived. The inside area was HOT…the AC was obviously not working. The salmon and halibut were very good, but we felt that the total cost of our meal was higher than its worth.

Nice location with good food

By Papadoc529 |

The seafood choices were plentiful. Service was quick and friendly. The food was served quickly and at the correct temperature. The peach dessert choices were outstanding.

Excellent dinner with waterfront views

By West River Girl |

Every time I’ve been to Seattle I’ve enjoyed dinner at Anthony’s. The views of the harbor are beautiful, the staff is professional, knowledgeable about the menu items, the menu has multiple gluten-free options, the meals are delicious, the bar has fun drinks, and the desserts are divine. I enjoyed the Ocean Grilled Prawns served gluten-free; the prawns were huge and delicious. My friends began their dinner with the Anthony's New England Style Clam Chowder and the Dungeness Crab & Corn Chowder, and they raved about how both were absolutely delicious. For dinner my friends had the Fresh Dungeness Crab Cakes, the Alaska Red King Crab Legs and the Dungeness Crab Fettuccine. For dessert we enjoyed fresh peach ice cream with peaches and raspberries. A perfect ending to a perfect dinner. It was a most delightful dinner. I can’t wait to return!

Lovely view, excellent service

By Valerie |

Party of 12 meeting for dinner the night before we left on a cruise. The staff was accommodating for such a big party. We sat in the upstairs restaurant with a lovely view off the pier. There were several wait staff to assist us and the food was outstanding. Average cost per person was about $60.00 with cocktails, appetizers and deserts for half of our party. Will definitely return in the future

Always a special treat

By JD C |

We've been to Anthony's sister branches n Coeur d'Alene and Spokane, both providing wonderful meals so we wanted to try this Anthony's in Seattle. We shared the tasty Northwest seasonal salad with spinach, blue cheese crumbles, hazelnuts, rhubarb and apple relish. For our main dishes, we ordered the fresh Alaska halibut with hazelnut butter and rhubarb coulis, grilled Japanese yams and tomato bouquet which was excellent. We tried to order the tempura ahi roll but we were told the ahi used for the tempura rolll was unavailable so we ended up with the chargrilled fresh Pacific Ahi medallions with ginger sauce, which was also expertly prepared. Drinks included Dark and Stormy (Rum and Ginger Beer), Long island Iced Tea, Pike Brewing Kilt Lifter 66, coffee and affogato for dessert. The bill came to $151, including tax.

Excellent views & food

By Lesley T |

We had a lovely dinner upstairs with great views of the waterfront. We shared crispy calamari with a lemon aioli then I had Dungeness crab cakes in a ginger-plum sauce & my hubby had ocean grilled giant prawns, all delicious & so fresh. Very friendly staff and efficient service. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Disappointing Food and Service

By SaraMae50 |

Beautiful view, comfortable dining room. Rather disappointed with the food. Except for the scallops and the peach desserts, the food was just okay. The salmon and black cod were nothing special. In addition, although the restaurant was far from crowded, the service was only so-so. Our server did not even query us about beverages, and once we did order them, it took over 25 minutes and three requests to get them served. As a matter of fact, we were well into our entrees before they arrived.

Great Restaurant an Staff

By Ron L |

The restaurant is very well laid out, spacious and comfortable. It has great views to the south with Century Link and the Seattle's Ferry and Port facilities. The staff is friendly, the food is reasonably priced and tasty. Overall, a very good experience.

You could do a lot worse

By gea4957 |

Had the need for a lunch while visiting the Seattle waterfront area. Looked over the menu and decided on a hamburger and a fish sandwich. Both were very good and while pricey better than some other places we had tried on the waterfront. You order at the counter and the food is brought to you. fast service and we were glad we stopped here. If the menu suits you give it a try. We would definitely go back here the nest time in town.

Great Food!

By MamaMia796 |

We were there early and had a cappuccino. We came back for lunch of Fish and chips! Best ever! You can eat outside in shade, or inside.

Simply Good

By ASBCRB |

Our food was excellent. It was basic stuff like a 2 piece Alaskan cod fish and chips and fried oysters with a corn relish and clam chowder. It sounds so simple, but it was so good. It exceeded expectations. The fish was truly crispy (I hate squishy breading). The fries were fresh cut. The oysters were fresh, crispy, and served with a delicious corn relish and Cajun aioli. The chowder was nicely balanced between the clams, potatoes, and bacon. Jack was a friendly server with a happy and fun personality.

Anthony's PIer 66: Good food and service and nice view

By john t |

Anthony's PIer 66 overlooks a marina which gives it a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and the staff made the experience enjoyable. We ordered the Black Cod and Pacific Duet (Salmon and Crab Cake). The Cod had a preparation that we have not had in other places. It was very good. The crab cake was awesome. The crab cake felt like crab meat in a very thin wrapper. There were a few pieces of shell, which can't be helped. The salmon was cooked well. We had the Blackberry Cobbler for dessert. It was perfect with a nice mix of the warm tart cobbler with cold ice cream to offset the tartness.

Seaside in Seattle

By TravelbeeSantaFe_NM |

Arriving hungry from the SW, we headed to Anthony’s downstairs counter service. Delicious fried oysters and fish tacos and cold local lager. You can sit outside and enjoy the ocean air and seagulls.

Very Good

By Fredboy1946 |

Good food & service. View outside was great. I had Thai salad with prawns. Excellent. A little pricey was my only issue.

Seafood

By bcheong |

A seafood restaurant by the pier with a good view of the water. Glancing at the menu, the items are not cheap. $75 steaks and salmon, $100 crab legs. The salads were large and tasted just ok. My cod main was ok. The service was good 7/10

Dinner on a walk

By PLEMB |

If you are looking for a bayside / seaside diner great place to recommend (though have not tried other locations along this street). The food was great with Excellent and friendly service. Neat experience for an inland family who normally dislikes seafood. Nothing smelt not tasted fishy so was fresh seafood.

Room to improve

By Phil S |

The location of this restaurant is its main selling point: right on the waterfront with a great view across the sound. To be worthy of a higher rating it needs to up its food standard to match the view (and the price) clam chowder was fine if a little over seasoned but the tempura prawns were let down by an inedible pudding of rice. There are better places in Seattle.

Tacos with a view

By Steve F |

We stopped into the diner for fish tacos after a walk along the waterfront. This place had been a favorite in years past and it was as good as I remembered. They top the grilled rockfish with a chunky mango salsa for a sweet and savory flavor with just a hint of blackened seasoning. Served with tortilla chips, it makes a great way to end an afternoon outing.

Waterfront Dining on the Sound

By ruthk191 |

Went to Anthony's with another couple. Had a 6:30 reservation and were immediately seated at a waterfront table. Lovely view of Puget Sound. We ordered wine with dinner and skipped appetizers in favor of salads. The guys both had Cesar that was topped with "parmesan frico", sort of a baked cheese that was crispy and delicious. I chose the Northwest Seasonal salad: spinach topped with apple relish and blue cheese crumbles. Light and fresh. Our other friend had asparagus tempura that she shared. It was perfectly done, crispy exterior with the spear tender but far from over cooked. For our mains the guys both had the Fresh Alaskan Halibut, while I had Dungeness Crab Cakes and our friend had Wild Troll-Caught King Salmon. Everyone was totally satisfied with their selections. Our server was entertaining, informative and attentive. He stopped by frequently but not overly often yet never made us feel rushed. When we return to Seattle, we will most likely dine at Anthony's again.

Excellent Seafood, View, Service...

By Filipendulous |

We come to Seattle often and are usually an Elliott's family (down the street). My mom wanted to try Anthony's this time and we were not sorry. There are so many great reviews so I will keep this short. THE CRAB AND SHRIMP ROLL SANDWICH THE DUNGENESS CRAB TOAST THE BERRY LEMONADE You cannot do better than this for lunch. Great service, clean, great prices for downtown Seattle (10 lunchs for $15 each). Beverages are high.

Wonderful Experience

By Dreamer O |

We dined here our last evening in Seattle, and it was amazing! The view was spectacular!! The wait staff were very friendly and responsive. The halibut with peach salsa was delicious as was the cheesecake with peaches. Highly recommend!!

Restaurant with a view

By myeyeshibe |

A restaurant with a nice view on the seaside Good service The food is okay, everything is delicious. The prices may be a little high. Right now, 1 dollar is 150 yen, so it's expensive no matter where you go.

Perfect dinner and service for a light meal

By wayls |

We were pleasantly surprised to find an updated restsurant with excellent quality food. We were not very hungry, so each got a caesar salad that was scrumptious, and then shared a Northwest Duet (salmon & halibut) that were perfectly cooked and served with fresh vegetables and light sauces. We had a lovely Washington chardonnay with this. We received no snide comments about, nor fees for, sharing an entree. Instead, we were treated as importantly as any other customer. This was a perfect meal and we will definitely return on a future trip.

Sad in Seattle

By Bob L |

Great location, however, the food and service is not worth the price. Cocktails were poorly made and one entree had to be sent back for being overcooked. It is highly overrated.

Mediocre at best.

By Cody J |

Over cooked scallops. The margarita disappointing. Service was the bare minimum. There are so many other restaurants you could try, and you should!

Nice to eat on the water

By michele4063 |

The food was ok. I wasnt particulary impressed. It wasnt bad, it just didnt wow me. Service was very good. Location is very nice. Prices are fair. Limited menu. Portion sizes were fair. You can valet for free and when your done with your meal they bring the car to you.

Great lunch

By Inspiration236580 |

Omg so so good! Drinks and food. I got the chicken bowl and my husband got the halibut. Both were exceptional. Waitress was great as well.

Ate lunch here after visiting the market

By 57Lulu |

We walked here after the market to eat lunch. Sat outside but mostly viewed cement vs. the water which we were surprised. Hubby had the local fish special and I had the mango salad. Had dessert as well. Bill was $71.16, no drinks but soda. Note that there is a surcharge added to bills to pay for staff's medical insurance per waitress. Waitstaff also receives $15 per hour minimum wage.

Stellar

By weyl-59 |

Wonderful in all respects! We sat outside on the upper deck with a marvelous view of the bay -- somehow I almost had the sense of being on the Mediterranean. Because we had just arrived in the city, we went at the last seating. It was perfect so definitely request to sit outside when you reserve a table. Started with oysters, then the local salad imaginatively created with fresh berries, blue cheese and hazelnuts, and then finished with the black cod. Nice selection of local white wine all reasonably priced. We chose the pinot gris blend. Service was quite good. Perhaps the best choice for dining on the water with a great view.

One of our favorite all time restaurants

This restaurant never fails to amaze us! The view is great, the ambiance is great, the staff are real winners, and then there is the food! Every time we come to Seattle this is a required stop for seafood. The preparation and presentation are always perfect, and can’t wait to come back again.

Lovely atmosphere

We enjoyed our meal here with friends overlooking the waterfront. There is some outside seating and a restaurant on the ground floor and upper floor. Very good service and seafood. Dress code seemed to be casual.

Superb all around

Anthony's is an excellent choice if you're looking for a seafood dinner on the waterfront. We both had something called the Pacific Duet, which was a halibut-mahi mahi combination - outstanding. The service was great and the views spectacular, even on a mostly cloudy night. The prices are also very reasonable given the location and quality; a very good value.

Great service and food on the waterfront.

Nice location and was close to the Marriott that we stayed at. Nice menu with a good variety. Service was great and so was the food, make a reservation if you can. If you don’t you may get lucky with some early seating or a spot at the bar like we did.

Go elsewhere

Stopped for appetizers and drinks. Mussels were par. Service was poor. Drinks and view were the only redeeming factor. Won’t be back

Great table location but random chance

On a warm, clear early summer late afternoon, our three-generation family of 8 was seated at an outside table facing the harbor and in the shade. Spectacular! The crab cakes were definitely NOT Maryland crab cakes! (I lived outside Baltimore for 9 years). Parking was a challenge.

Late Lunch

We visited after checking in to our hotel across the street, since their restaurant had just closed lunch at 2pm. I had the Mahi Mahi Tacos and my husband had the 2 PC fish and chips. Fresh and very flavorful. Wait staff was young but very knowledgeable. They also had some awesome summer cocktails, I had the Berry fresh Cosmo, yummy! Nice view outside on patio next to marina.

Highly recommend!

Very nice place with beautiful views. The weather even cleared up enough for our server to point out Mt Rainier. My fish and chips were among the best I’ve had and my husband’s clams with sourdough bread were delicious. Shout out to the manager, Jayden and Mallory who went above and beyond to accommodate my husband’s mobility issues.

Anthony's Pier 66 is as good now as it was over 20 years ago!

By Emily Houk |

Anthony's Pier 66 Restaurant was one of the first "fancy" places my husband and I dined at over 20 years ago, and, while we were back in the area for a visit, we knew we had to try it again. We were NOT disappointed!! The staff, especially our waiter Branden, were phenomenal, and the food was literally *chef's kiss*! We went with my husband's mother and sister to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday, and you couldn't have asked for a better experience or menu. My ribeye was tender and flavorful, my husband's ahi tuna was delicious and well prepared, and my sis-in-law's halibut was like eating savory little flaky clouds. My mother-in-law is very particular about food preparation, and they were able to accommodate all her requests. We had a table by the window where we could watch the boats moving through the harbor, and the atmosphere was inviting, and we could hear each other very well. I highly recommend this place for anyone and can't say enough about such a great experience!

Great view from the out door patio

We try to get to Seattle at least a couple times a year. We have our favorites in town and this Anthony's is one of them. Always good service, always great cocktails and then we decide between the Kobe burger of the crab mac and cheese.....always great! Well done Anthony's!!!!

Loved the Food + the Views!

I spent lunch at Anthony’s prior to setting off on a ferry ride to Bainbridge. Despite there being sooo many restaurants that looked equally enticing food-wise, I had my heart set on Anthony’s due to their picture-perfect views, both inside and on the sprawling patio). The January temps forced me to eat indoors, but the windows next to me were enormous and gave me stunning glimpses at the marina and Puget Sound. Atmosphere is first-rate, and expected in such a maritime city like Seattle. —Service was about average, likely slightly above but not too much above. My host and waiter were kind and welcoming, my waiter the more welcoming of the two, and my meal came swiftly with no errors. Service was quite attentive and professional. In summary, I have had service of a higher caliber before, but don’t get me wrong: no complaints to anyone here! —Food was extremely delicious! Tease me all you want (hehe), but I’m sadly not a seafood person. I opted for a juicy, delish breast of chicken with a teriyaki-like sauce, served with broccoli and BBQ sauce. I finished everything with a full, satisfied stomach. I didn’t try dessert, but next time I’ll have to get some—my choices looked delightful in that department. —Last thing: most of the blame can be put on me here, but before stepping in to the actual restaurant, I accidentally entered a separate part of the building where something like takeout happens, or where seafood can be ordered to-go. I forget what the situation was, but it was not the place to sit down and have a dining experience. Two employees directed me to the correct entrance with no issues. I’m not the one to advocate for better signage because I made the mistake with receiving ample instruction, but just be advised of these two, completely-different rooms inside the same facility. My review, thus, is four stars. I very much recommend Anthony’s for its unbeatable harbor views, quality food, and reasonably-feasible price point. Celebrations and large groups can be accommodated well here. I’ll be returning next Seattle visit!

Amazing meal and location

Had a fab anniversary lunch here. The staff were wonderful, the food delicious and the setting was perfect. We hopped on a ferry from Seattle for lunch and a walk around Bremerton and it left us wanting more. It's well worth planning a trip out of Seattle to visit this fab town and stop in for some amazing food at Anthony's. It'll make you wish you didn't have to return to the city.

Bad Value At This Location

By JellyB |

Being around forever, Anthony's has built a solid reputation over the years as a reasonably priced upscale special occasion restaurant around the Northwest. I haven't been to one in 3 or 4 years. Things seem to have gone downhill, at least at this location. ** BEWARE You may have 75% of your view blocked by a parked cruise ship. We did. So the only view was to the South but you could still see some of the water, Mt. Rainer (barely) and the Downtown Waterfront. The prices are tourist location prices. The food was mediocre. Calamari was luke warm and not freshly fried. Ahi Nachos, small portions and freshness/quality of tuna was questionable. Small portions, fish a bit on the overcooked side. $29 for a "Seafood Louis" salad which is iceberg lettuce, a half of a hard boiled egg, a half cup at best of the cheapo bay shrimp and two large prawns. No crab. Not even the option on the menu to add Dungeness Crab. Swordfish was a little overcooked and dwarfed by the accompaniments. Three people at are table got it. Two the swordfish was about 3/4" thick and the size of your hand and the other was 1/2" thick. Good size if you wanted to use it as a burger patty. Smoked Salmon chowder was delicious. Service was good but boy the bill really stings at this place especially given the blocked view and mediocre food. Expect to fork out about $70-$100 a person depending on if you get drinks, apps, salads.

Definitely expecting more from this restaurant

By Honest reviewer |

We were recommended this restaurant so we thought that we would try it. We sat outside and the views were good. The service is what was lacking. Maybe we just got a bad server but he was very forgetful. The food was good but not great and the portion size was small for the price. We were definitely expecting more from a restaurant that charges the price that they do.
