Like many trendy restaurants that are more concerned that things sound novel and exciting and look interesting than the taste. Sour our lamb meatballs on cheesy polenta, burger, fried brussell spouts looked lovely but the taste was only fair. The place is delightful as is the quiet location and pleasant patio with a gas fire.

Can you say foodgasm? Mouthwatering, delicious, scrumptious, ambiance, inviting, soothing music, friendly... I could go on! Try it! You will love it! I even met the chef and had to thank him!

Strategically situated between San Francisco and Oakland, Treasure Island offers some of the best Bay vistas. However, there are not a lot of choices when it comes to lunch, but Aracely Cafe is an excellent option. Dine alfresco on a large terrace that includes and outdoor fire place, or inside at a table that features an indoor fire place. Service is casual but prompt and friendly or order at the indoor coffee bar to go. Recently I had a tasty cheddar cheeseburger including fried onion rings and pepperonis that I topped with optional avocado (you can also choose bacon). It included choice of potatoes or a refreshing vinaigrette salad (the dressing prominently features the vinegar). A nice touch is a chilled bottle of water brought your table when you sit down.

A hidden gem, worth the detour. The menu offers so many tantalizing choices, it would have been fun to go back again and again to try more of the dishes.

One of the only places to eat on this island. Plenty of parking for an 18 Wheeler. It is a really nice place with outside area and fire places. Staff is really nice. The steak , wild mushrooms, and red potatoes are to die for. I will def be stopping here again on the future.

So glad we found this oasis after driving through the deserted base. Welcomed by bougainvillea and sea breezes, we entered the small, fresh interior that offered flowers and a water-filled glass bottle on each table. My order of ocean trout tostadas with avocado, roasted corn, lime, and jicama was perfect. My daughter ate every bit of her French toasted croissant with dulce de leche cream cheese and fresh peaches. The restaurant does not have a water view, but the road to it shows off the city, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate.

I came to a wedding and the catering was delicious. The place is like a Pinterest spot ¡beautiful! . Check it out

The food was absolutely delcious and fresh. The cafe made it feel like it was in San Francisco and the vibes felt just right. The menu looked formal and the food equalized to it. The food was fresh and delicious if I ever come back to Treasure Island this is a must go for sure

Treasure Island is a very unique place and Aracely Cafe is a surprising spot amongst the barren landscape. We loved the comfortable outdoor seating, the tasty brunch food and the attentive service. Combine this with a drive to see the views of San Francisco and you will be happy you came to quirky Treasure Island. A particular shout out to our waitress who was very funny and helpful.

Today we tried Aracely Cafe on Treasure Island. It was a little hide-a-way cafe on the island with a varied and interesting menu. Lots of different ootions. All very creative and they used fresh, local ingredients. Can't wait to go bsck.

Surprisingly easy to find on Treasure Island (signs along the bayfront road), plenty of parking, and handicap accessible, this Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch place is still a hidden gem. Who thinks of driving to Treasure Island for a meal? With its stunning views of SF and explorable places, try Aracely Cafe, for really good and unusual menu items early in the day. There are indoor tables, and in cool weather a cosy fireplace area, plus outdoor seating. (Their complete menu is online.) We had Sardine Toast with Broccolini Pesto on delicious bread, the Prosciutto open sandwich, and eggs Benedict with Pork Belly. All very good, plated with care, and different from the usual. Our service was excellent and prompt. Can't wait to go back and try some more items! (The croissant French Toast with Oatmeal Ice Cream tops my want list... )

We went to dinner with another couple (yay, COVID mandate changes!) last night at Aracely Cafe. Julie (the manager) was amazing. The food was incredible - the empanadas, the tri tip, the seared tuna salad, the ala mode pie. Everything was delicious and beautiful. There were heaters and spacing between tables that made eating out relaxing instead of worrisome. No worries about people walking by on the sidewalk in close proximity to my meal! I can't wait to go back again!

Hopefully my friend and I just caught Aracely Cafe on a bad day, since I've had their food before and this time was not up to par. The place itself is attractive, with a nice patio out front. A friend and I ordered food to take out there. I got the burger, with sweet potato fries, and both were overcooked. The burger was dry though it still had good flavor, and a number of the fries were burnt. On the plus side, the quantity of fries was generous so I was able to pick out enough good ones. My friend had some sliders which looked pretty good, but also got the pan-fried asparagus small plate, and this was also way overcooked, limp and lacking much flavor from the asparagus, mostly from the sauce it was dressed in. Wish I'd had a better experience on this recent visit - if I was rating Aracely based on past visits too I'd bump up the rating from three to four. Since there are very limited options of places to eat on Treasure Island, I'll most likely be back.

Newlyweds from Texas visiting with friends in the Bay Area for an early dinner. Everything about this place was awesome!! Our waiter had the greatest sense of humor and didn’t rush us out of the restaurant because they were closing for the night. The food was AMAZING!!!! The lamb chowder is a must have. The outside sitting area is really nice with great sitting as well as a fire pit to stay warm. It felt a little strange being from hot and humid North Texas to be sitting in front of a fire pit with a hoodie on yet a welcomed change from our norm.

The staff are very friendly and the food is great. A must for good eats . They have fantastic coffee. the setting is very nice with the out door seating.

It is not cheap like a taqueria but the food is good. I had breakfast. It was good. They offer some Mexican plates, too. I can't remember the name I think it was enchiladas. I order it two occasions and was always tasteful

My wife and I had many fond memories of Treasure Island from back in the days when the Navy still housed its officers on the island. We had been back a few times over the past decades, but it had been a while, so we decided to go, take a walk where one could walk, drive, and see what was there. We decided that Aracely Café would be our lunch destination. After exiting from the Bay Bridge when heading west, you are soon treated to some stunning views of the Bay and the San Francisco skyline. It is a photographer’s delight. As you come closer to the water, and get past the palm trees, you see a small convenience store. There just isn’t very much out there. After a walk along the west-facing waterfront, and marveling at how little new development there has been in over thirty years, we drove to Aracely Café. The menu was actually quite a surprise, and a pleasant surprise at that. It features items/ingredients that I wouldn’t have expected. There is an option for both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for outdoor seating. Service was not as attentive as it could have been, but was certainly adequate, and better than at numerous restaurants I have frequented. My wife ordered the ocean trout tostadas. It is served with Napa cabbage and various other additions. I ordered the hanger steak sandwich. This included lobster mushrooms, pablanos, and summer squash. What was true of both dishes is that they were nicely plated, the food was well prepared, and both dishes seemed to be one ingredient short. I don’t mean by this that they were missing an ingredient listed on the menu. I mean that the right addition would have moved them from being good/very good to dishes that were very good/excellent. I was hoping for something that would just grab my taste buds or would give me a textural contrast. Dissecting the hanger sandwich, the mushrooms, poblanos, and whatever else was on the sandwich all had a soft texture. Something that would have added some crunch would have been welcome. The hanger sandwich came with a choice of salad or potatoes, and oven-roasted potatoes sounded good. It was a large serving of what appeared to be oven-roasted Yukon Golds. There was nothing wrong with them, they were sufficiently roasted, but it was just potatoes. They didn’t have a crisp outer skin, no herbs were sacrificed in preparing the potatoes, nothing was added. I have eaten and prepared oven-roasted potatoes with a beautiful crust, in some cases, with finely minced fresh herbs added at the last second, or with a dish of aioli or a sauce of fire-roasted tomatoes, or microplaned/grated lemon zest, or even just parsley, and the list goes on. It could easily have been more satisfying and interesting. The same comment applies to the trout tostadas. Something that would have added some textural contrast and a compatible flavor would have elevated the dish, for example, some pan-toasted and coarsely crushed hazelnuts, or some deep-fried cheesy polenta cubes. The kitchen uses a wide range of rather eclectic ingredients, drawn from multiple diverse cuisines. If they at some point identify and add that one ingredient that puts their dishes over the top, this has the potential to be an under-the-radar gem. I will definitely go back at some point, perhaps with friends or with family, and try a few more of the items on their menu. The restaurant unfortunately does not have the million dollar views, but the patio is certainly pleasant. The food is interesting, and I did enjoy my meal. Prices are very modest, and so the value is quite good. There are several winery tasting rooms on the island, and so you can combine some lunch with wine tasting. It is also simply pleasant to spend some time, post lunch, enjoying the beautiful views of San Francisco and the Bay that the island offers.

Where do I start? We book our wedding service with Aracely on March 7th and had a mishap that required us to postpone our wedding. This occurred and we quickly advised Linda (owner) on March 24th through text, honeybook, & voicemail (17 days later) that we needed to postpone out service that was for MAY 27th. Through this situation and very delayed responses from Linda, May 27th passed and she continued to deny that we advised her that we postponed. According to her, we cancelled 2 weeks before our service. We decided to screenshot all the texts and messages from March 24th but she continued to change her story for why we would not receive our deposit. Long story short, Aracely is a cute restaurant that is a great venue, HOWEVER the management is unprofessional and desperate for money.

Simple and sweet. a nice place to grab some coffee and an unusual meal. Not sure about the theme but super cute if you can find the hidden gem.

a special experience, having brunch on Treasure Island. great food, wonderful unobtrusive music, friendly service - what more can you ask? And afterwards, a spectacular view of San Francisco

We took the $2.50 round trip bus ride from the mainland terminal to Treasure Island where the route circles and then returns to the mainland. Most people we encountered on the bus and even on the island were unaware that the restaurant exists! Unable to visit the wineries we had intended to see because they were closed, we asked a bystander who said he didn't know where it was either but scooped us up; we piled into his truck and by asking along the way, found it. (Another example of the kindness of strangers.) It turns out to be right near one of the bus stops so next time we're in SFO, we'll be able to find it on our own. I had a very nice lentil stew reminiscent of North Africa with whatever spices it had and my husband was very enthusiastic about his ahi tuna salad. Amounts were very generous; prices reasonable but not cheap There was a fire in the fireplace which had some sofas around it. The decoration is minimalist; the restaurant light and bright and cheerful; the staff attentive. The view from the bus stop just before crossing to the mainland is lovely. Next time we'll hope to be able to visit the wineries as well as this restaurant.

Came in for coffee. Coffee tasted good but the cup was tiny and the cost was not. Kind of wish they'd had non-fat milk. Service was fast and friendly. The dining room is small and comfortable. Very well appointed. Convenient parking.

I came to Treasure Island to see the remains of the Naval Base and hike the Bay Bridge Trail. I didn't expect that the last restaurant left would be any good but wow is it ever good. The croissant french toast I had was amazing and the peaches really fresh. They also did a pretty good belini. The prices are so far below what you'd find on the mainland too. My only knock would be service isn't the best but still, it's really really worth a stop.

Aracely Cafe is a must visit on Treasure Island. Traasure island can appear a little "rough around the edges" given the industrial nature of the area, but the views of the city are fantastic. Aracely is tucked away in a secluded little section of the island that hides most of that industrial vibe. We managed to pick the perfect weather day to visit the Island and really enjoyed our patio seating for brunch. Service was quick and friendly, and being our first visit was happy to answer all our menu questions. I'm a big eggs benedict fan and rate theirs as one of the best I've had. The eggs were poached perfectly and the fried quinoa "bun" was a tasty surprise over the usual english muffin. Another great choice was their TriTip sandwich on a delicious ciabatta bun. The sandwich had a heaping helping of perfectly cooked meat. Followup your visit was a quick walk along the perimeter trail of the island and soak in the great views. You'll be able to get great shots of everything from the East Bay, to Angel Island, to Alcatraz and the whole cityscape.

Had an excellent lunch here today after a Treasure Island tour. A gem amongst the changing island. Great food and desserts.

The combination of ingredients are clever and tasty. Friendly service and lots of parking for this cafe that is away from the main area.

I found this place on Yelp and I was impressed by the environment and the food we had. It was amazing also it was a great ending to our vacation. I heard a lot of things about Treasure Island and it was unique and I'm glad we stopped.

Empanadas, ceviche were my favorite, but I am pretty sure that the whole menu is excellent as well. The restaurant is in treasure island, but is easy to find it.

Following a suggestion from google maps we decided to visit this place after arriving in Treasure Island to watch the sunrise, we honestly weren’t expecting much as the island is pretty ran down. But we were shocked when we arrived. The place looks great, it’s extremely well decorated and there’s a clear attention to detail in the decor. I ordered the breakfast bowl and a coffee priced respectively at $14 and $3. They both tasted great. Service was really good too. Will definitely go back!
Nice little cafe
Very nice staff, a cool down to earth atmosphere, nice outside sitting area, decent background music and oh yea good food (turkey sandwich was delicious with the fried potatoes) makes for a place for food when on the island
