Our server Juan is the absolute best. He is the gold standard for excellent customer service. I would stay at the Kimpton ever time just to experience this level of service!

Juan is by far one of the best service professionals. He has served me and my family over the years He is attentive with our needs and has good conversations. The juices they provide are amazing. Watermelon, green, pineapple and beet. The atmosphere is energetic and fun. The price is affordable.

Amazing place, we feasted my food was quality and service that max gave us to transform our experience it is a great smiling waiter and always with little care, he advised us on the menu cocktails and exchange moments with him that was amazing. Thank you a thousand times max for your amazing service.

An major disappointment with the brunch service. Despite spending over $100 on a to-go brunch, the quality of the food and service was far below what one would expect from a reputable establishment.Firstly, the food was cold by the time it reached our room, which is less than a two-minute walk from the restaurant. This indicates a serious lapse in service efficiency and food handling.Furthermore, our order was not fulfilled correctly. I specifically ordered a vegetable omelet, yet received a plain egg omelet without any vegetables. Additionally, I ordered bacon but was instead given sausage. These mistakes are unacceptable, especially considering the premium price paid for the meal.To add to the disappointment, I was charged $11.00 for a cup of coffee that was both small and of poor quality. For the price, I expected a high standard of coffee, not something that tasted subpar.This experience was far from the exceptional service and quality that I anticipated from Area 31. Don't waste your money or time eating here.

It was an absolute amazing experience. Juan was our waiter for both breakfast we stayed for. He was very attentive and makes the best coffees. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Staff were friendly, I had Juan M, and along with the other wait staff- always smiling. Food was good along with generous portion sizes.

Was looking forward to an excellent meal and was extremely disappointed. Evening started out ok with nice cocktails. Shared pork belly appetizer which was good. However, I ordered the risotto for dinner which was totally undercooked so I had an expensive inedible entree. And we were abandoned so could not communicate the issue to the wait staff. Thirty minutes later we were then asked if we wanted dessert menu. I replied if I am not able to eat my entree why would I bother with dessert. If restaurant is unable to cook risotto it should not be one the menu. Waste of money and time. Plenty of better places to eat.

Worse dining experience ever….very expensive for nothing $65.00 for 2 each 3 inches long crab legs hollowed out and filled with 1/2 ounces of some sort of overly salted crab mixture, it might even be the fake stuff!!! It really was high way robbery… the drinks were awful… ordered a mai tai, couldn’t even drink it most boring drinks ever. The service sucked. Our waiter spent his time chitchatting with other customers than paying attention to us… I do not recommend this overly expensive place to nobody. I don’t mind paying high dollars but give me good and quality food !!! I am telling you, who ever the chef is needs to review their prices: overly expensive for NOTHING to show for on the plates!!!

Presentation was spot on, service was excellent food was great! We ordered the $75/pp menu the salmon was superb, 3 pigs was amazing and the baklava (was the dessert they had left or I would not have chosen it but it was fantastic)

We had an excellent experience thanks to our waiter Juan M. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional without ever being intrusive. Area 31 in Miami has great food and the service is always top notch. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times, and the servers are always kind and willing to converse with us. Located on the 16th floor over looking the water, you can watch yachts go by as you dine. Breakfast is a treat, with fresh pressed juice and freshly ground coffee. Lunch and drinks by the pool, everything is delicious.

I had an amazing experience at Area 31! Our server, Julian M, was so kind, attentive, and made us feel really taken care of the entire time. He had such a great attitude, checked in often without being overbearing, and made sure everything was perfect. You can tell he really enjoys what he does! definitely made our visit even better! Highly recommend asking for Julian if you dine here.

My friends and I had a great time here at Area 31. Seda (our server) was amazing and made sure our experience was nothing but the best. Her recommendations were on point and all the food was cooked perfectly. Shout out to the chef in the back as well! If you are in Miami, you have to check out this spot.

It was a very good accommodation experience. The hotel is located in a clean, safe, and convenient area. The room size and layout were comfortable, I noticed there was no body lotion in the bathroom, perhaps they forgot to restock it? The breakfast on the 16th floor was excellent. Mr. Juan M. was very attentive and made sure my breakfast was perfect; the coffee was good and the milk was warm, everything was perfect.

I stopped in for a quick meal after disemarking from a cruise and heading to my room. I was impressed with the professionalism and hospitality of my server, Juan. The Bloody Mary was one of the best I have ever had. Spicy and well seasoned, this cocktail is not to be missed. I ordered a Caesar salad and the ceviche. Both were exceptional and that's remarkable for two menu standards. The ceviche was better than anything I had last week in Aruba; Bonaire, and Curacao. I told the chef personally. The setting and design of the restaurant are beautiful and airy. The staff are professional and anticapatory. The food is a true gem. I'd come back in a heartbeat

I got sooooooo GYPPED, so the waiter claimed that they ran out of lobsters so he gave us 6 prawns that costed $120 instead of normal $50 for the plate. So the plate is supposed to be $50, he said no lobster.. So I thought the prawns will be a sub only (equal cost). No no no it wasn't. End up with a $350 bill (no alcohol)

Luis is the best bartender we have met in Miami, always attentive and ready to take care of everything we needed, he never showed us discontent, even when his shift was about to end he was up until the last moment trying to make sure everyone who was at the bar have a great night.

We came to Area 31 after leaving another restaurant who could not provide gluten free options or substitutions. Our waiter Juan was very knowledgeable and guided my wife through all her safe choices. Even had gluten free Bloody Mary mix which was a bonus and very good. Food was very good, view was excellent, service was attentive and what would be expected from a restaurant so highly rated. My server today was Juan. He was Superior to almost everywhere else I have been going in the last several years. I wish the service overall at restaurants was as good as it is here. I will say that the restaurant is more pricey than some, but it is connected to the hotel! That being said you will receive no better service than here. Truly a pleasure to be here and many smiling faces. I never once had to ask for anything in fact it was there before I even requested it. The young people nowadays could use a lesson from the individuals who serve at this restaurant as they are not only A Step Above the Rest they are two or three steps above the rest. It is a very interesting restaurant, located 16 floors high, which gives a beautiful view of the center of Miami. Close to good hotels and other restaurants. We were well received and the food was good (not exceptional). We drank a very good California wine. It is worth the experience for the outdoor climate and the beautiful night view from part of Miami.

We had a good experience at area 31. The patio is lovely and the food is fine! Juan M was great and made us delicious coffee! We enjoyed sitting outside and taking the views. Coffee was great and we returned another day.

Amazing! We are here for breakfast and it was delicious. Everything was included with our stay we both had steak and eggs, fruit platter, unlimited drinks, and more. I typically will only drink coffee if it has all the sugary additives from Starbucks but the Cuban coffee blew my mind! The service was impeccable, super nice and the ambiance was cozy, warm, and inviting. If the breakfast was this good, I can only imagine how well the dinner is! We came down for an early start to a day of frantic Christmas shopping. Awesome food from a menu of regional favorites. The ceviche in particular was spot on, and everything was freshly made and perfectly cooked. All topped off with great service from our server Juan!

The view mega, but that's all! Unfriendly and never again! We had around 9.00 pm reserved a table and were already there at 8.30! The lady at the reception asked us to have an aperitif outside at the bar as our table was not ready yet. At 9.10 pm I went to ask if the table was ready, then she told us: You sent me a message on the phone (which we did not receive) and since we did not come you have now passed on the table!!! There is nothing left free now!!! What a cheek! She knew where we were and did and did not personally inform! By the way, it didn't have very many people and was therefore very clear. I told her I didn't think it was okay, you weren't interested in that at all and just ran away! So like that, fuck me and go somewhere else!!! That's what we did, too! They really don't need to... Never again... there are great locations

juan was a fantastic server. very attentive, kind, and friendly! the food was delicious at brunch time and we WILL be visiting here and juan again during our stay!

The view was epic! We were in Area 31 and zuma restaurant which seems like your usual places, but what truly captivated us is the service provided by ERDINC. He provided outstanding service, very friendly and helpful. Totally captivating us. We look forward to come back soon!

The service was horrendous !!! The food is mediocre, do not expect any bread at all unless you request it three or four times! While other tables were already finished we were still waiting for our bread or waiting for our waiter to come over and bring our food. The place itself lacks personality, decor is plain the only saving grace is the view, but you need to seat outside to enjoy it.

Juan was incredible! His service and interaction was impeccable. My wife says the Cuban coffee should be called ‘liquid orgasm’ —obviously she loved it!! The food was delicious and the fruit fresh—a delightful dining experience!

Great rooftop patio, pool side on the 16th floor of the Kimpton . Had several lunches and had a great time. The breeze makes sitting in the sun and having a nice meal enjoyable.

The best brunch experience in Miami. We stayed at the Kimpton Epic for 5 nights and never got sick of the hotel breakfast. It’s actually one of the highlights of our 5-day tour. The lobster & crab Benedict is soooo good. I had this single dish for five mornings. And the service is awesome and so welcoming!

This is a high-end upscale dining place, the prices are high, but so is the food quality. There’s also a lovely outdoor area with fantastic views of the waterfront and downtown Miami, I highly recommend it.

Food is great, cocktails too. Get the green juice with tequila and sit in Juan’s section. Great conversation and service. You won’t be disappointed. He makes you feel right at home. Very memorable experience and much needed after a day of traveling.
