Truly spectacular restaurant! Food was delicious and the presentation of steak was on a massive wood block, served and sliced tableside with a samurai type sword/knife. I will visit every time I’m in Austin.

We had a wedding celebration dinner for about 20 people at Aris in Austin Texas last week. We booked the private dining room. We created a menu ahead of time with their events coordinator. The event went really well. The food was delicious. The main dishes come out in giant family style platters. Every dish was perfectly prepared and the service was also excellent. All the steaks were perfectly cooked. I’m very picky about steak. I usually don’t order it because I can frequently make a better steak at home then I can get in a restaurant, but these were all spot on. The wine selection which included Champagne, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay prepared perfectly with the meal. The space is nice and adjoins the glass enclosed wine cellar. Maximum occupancy is about 20 people. This is an Israeli steakhouse so some of the dishes are Mediterranean in nature and I found that to be a nice change of pace from the typical American steakhouse flavor profile. This includes some interesting sides and desserts. All in all if you have a special occasion in Austin and are looking for a spectacular place to splurge for your group, I would highly recommend Aris. and would not hesitate to book another event there in the future.
