We LOVE the Armoury! Great place for dinner and drinks. The atmosphere is fun and the employees are always nice. We LOVE the veggie Samosas. Two large samosas - so good. Fabulous curry sauce! Grabbed the Fasirt (Hungarian meet balls). These are really good but no other app compares to the samosas. I got the Damn Burger. Oh So Good! I ordered with a medium egg on top and loved it. Hubs got the pork chop. New to the menu. He loved it. Overall fabulous place to go - date, with friends or just for fun!!!

Our group liked it here so much we came here twice, some 3 times in a week. Awesome cocktails and the Kitchen is open til 2am, food was great, especially the octopus! We had 4 orders so everyone could get enough. Gone so fast couldn’t even get a picture! There’s an outdoor patio for smokers around back with heaters, but the star of the place is the craft cocktails and brews. Worth the Uber here.

Service was quick and friendly. They accommodated a vegan diet. Food was prompt, fresh, and delicious.

Maybe the best drinks I’ve had in dallas. Creative and very well prepared. Their menu is unique and they have specials all the time. Head out back to their private back yard to hear live music as well. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Excellent, friendly service, edgy ambiance and superb, original cocktails make the Armoury a great destination in the diverse, urban and walkable neighborhood of Dallas' Deep Ellum. An eclectic menu punctuated with Hungarian accents makes the Armoury's food selection unusual. It would benefit from less reliance on sausage, less salt and less over-spicing that's in too many dishes. The Armoury will reach its very exciting potential when the kitchen matures to he level of its bar.

We truely enjoyed the atmosphere, cocktails and conversation with our bartender. The food was average. Not bad, just not a match for the rest of the experience.

Super cool outdoor area with art, lights, trees and a stage for live music. My servers were all great, had the Damn Burger, pink. Very good and cooked perfectly. Eating on a beautiful patio under the moonlight, listening to music, sipping decent Gloria Ferrer champagne - life doesn't get much better than that for this girl!

Stopped in for a drink after dinner. We all ordered different cocktails and tasted from each. My first drink the Triple Peach was perfect dessert after our dinner. The cream on top was thick and frothy and balanced out the alcohol below. My friend had the Jackie O and if you like a stout drink this might be your girl.

My husband and I stopped in to the Armoury for a drink to get out of the rain. The place is very cool on the inside with exposed brick. The patio area looked awesome, however, it was raining when we were there and couldn't enjoy it. We saw food that other patrons were served and it looked delicious.

Stopped in for a few drinks, ended up doing a few appetizers, and had a great time. They have a great selection of cocktails and very knowledgeable servers, so it's easy to try a wide variety of things. For appetizers, we got a charcuterie board and the grilled pulpo, both were excellent. It's a touch on the pricey side, but that's kind of expected in the "speak-easy" style bar.

We stopped in here before a play this weekend. We do not frequent the Deep Ellum area much so this little place was a nice surprise. Armoury D.E. seems to be more of a bar than restaurant and the exposed brick walls and minimalist decor fits in with the atmosphere. We actually sat at the bar and had an attentive server. The beer, wine and drink list was quite impressive. We choose a couple of draft beers and they were both enjoyable. We ordered the Hungarian Meatballs for an appetizer and they were delicious. I loved the pepper sauce served alongside them! Next up was the Langos, This was a round, deep-fried flatbread with 2 kinds of cheese (traditional style) that was served with sour cream, a paprika cream sauce and minced garlic. It was light and airy and would have been a great meal by itself. We chose the Porkolt for our entree. This was a pot roast-type dish but was made with chopped up ribeye and a tasty red sauce. We chose the spatzle (small dumpling) instead of the potatoes as a side.We finished off the meal with a banana bread topped with vanilla ice cream - yum! Every dish was very tasty and had the perfect amount of spices and seasonings. It was a nice change of fare for us and was most enjoyable. Nothing fancy - just good Hungarian food.

Not all bars are created equal. Went here twice during a business trip. The craft cocktails were great and the bartender really friendly. We also had this amazing grilled octopus dish. While it isn't cheap; it's worth a visit - or two.

Very eclectic bar which isn’t why we went. While we could see some serious craft cocktails being worked on, we went for the Hungarian food. It did not disappoint. Lecho, goulash, chicken paprika’s, some sort of fried bread with toppings (garlic spread, sour cream and cheese) - all blew our socks off. Going back for brunch this weekend. Loved it.

We stopped in for draft beers, walked around a while longer, then returned for another round as well as a meat & cheese plate. This was the first time I had had kombucha (NA) on tap, and I would go back for that alone! My major disappointment was that we didn't hit this place at a true meal time. The Hungarian menu sounded so delectable. The plate we enjoyed was excellent, and the food we saw others enjoying smelled and looked marvelous. We would definitely go again. Hopefully, next time there will be time for cocktails and dinner!

Visited for a late night gin + tonic, and it didn't disappoint. Great spirits selection and a tempting looking food menu. Friendly service and a great atmosphere, with warm lighting and brick walls... everything I want in a bar. Highly recommended.

Interesting restaurant design concepts. The decor is almost like worshipping Satan or Goth. Haha. But it is not the bad kind, it pretty cool btw. We were here slightly too early for dinner, so it practically empty. The food on menu is towards Eastern European cuisine which mostly I am not familiar with except the schnitzel. They have some bloody good drinks also. Pricing is pretty average and the service is not bad. I would recommend to come here for a drink at night to soak in the atmosphere.

Went to Sunday brunch and really loved the atmosphere and food. The service was great and the staff very friendly.

What a very interesting spot. A local friend and coworker suggested this place and it was awesome. The menu has some very unique items (like duck hearts) and wasn't overwhelming. Try it. You'll like it.

I frequently travel to Dallas for work and always make it a point to stop in here for their whiskey selection - and maybe some lunch or dinner. The food is good (several very good Hungarian dishes) and the bartenders are very knowledgeable and friendly. I'll be back!

This place has a robust drink menu. Craft beers and Cocktails. My favorite is called a bonnie & clyde. Think of a smoked old fashioned, but the glass is also lined with Laphroig. They smoke a cedar plank in front of you, and put the glass over it--super cool to watch! Food is always good here, as well. I've never had a bad meal. It's Hungarian based food, so it's got a unique twist on things, but it's delicious! Service is good, but It can get packed at night (especially Friday/Saturday), so you may have to wait a while on those days--but that's pretty much the norm for any decent pub these days! The outdoor patio is pretty cool too, I suggest hitting it up at night when there's a band. I will say the specialty/craft drinks are on the pricier end of things, but it's still worth it.

Lángos was one of the the best in my life and mama gulyás .was very delicous from excellent grow materials. We have senn them about half a year ago in HU on ATV chanel..We have been TX and finally in Dallas has been there before OKC. STEVE FROM BUDAPEST

This bar / restaurant is pretty small, so if you want to have dinner arrive by 6:30. Our group started out with Darkwing Drums( my favorite), Fasirt(delicious) and Rantott Sajt(average). I had the Chicken Paprikas which was the tables favorite. The sauce was so good on the chicken. We ended with the Chocolate Banana Bread so worth the calories. The waiter helped us pick out cocktails because we couldn't decide. The La Zorra was refreshing. This restaurant /bar was so good that I have to go back.

My friends and I always enjoy this spot for a casual cocktail before dinner. Head outside immediately or grab a cocktail at the bar first and then find a seat. The outside seating has enough shading that even in the warmer Texas months it isn't too bad to sit outside. And the art outside is enjoyable. We normally try to come when Deep Ellum isn't packed yet, so we have never enjoyed music or dinner here. But we love the cocktails and appetizers and the friendly staff!

We stopped in for a cocktail after dinner! What a fun place with very interesting, great cocktails. My friend and I had the Lone Gunman. It was a combination of vodka, lemon, blackberry and mint (I had mine without mint). It was very tasty! Our husbands had the Bonnie & Clyde! I liked theirs better - it tasted like a Manhattan only much better!! I would like to eat there next time because the menu looked amazing.

Bar day on a Saturday. Nice place with friendly staff. Plenty of different drinks to choose from. We'll be back.

Interesting menu somewhat Hungarian. They also serve some of the best pulpo I have ever tasted outside of Mexico. Staff is super attentive too. Try the pulpo.

Stopped by before a show at Canton Hall. Four of us. The cocktails were good to above average. Some of the food was disappointing and there were things on the menu that had apparently been removed. The octopus was something I wanted to try and it was good but I have had better. The jalapeno cheddar corny dog was awful. It had potential but was poorly executed. A Kuby's Jalapeno Sausage with a Jalapeno Corn Bread batter. The batter was soggy with grease and wanted to fall apart. Bright spot was the fries fried in duck fat. Those were a pleasant surprise but not enough to put a bright spot on the rest of the meal. No vibe in the place as it was near empty. Disappointing.
Brunch
Came for brunch with friends, Place was probably half full on a Saturday. Interior is dark but cool looking, there's a patio out back which is nice. We sat at the bar and had a girl serve us, we could tell she was new because she couldn't answer a lot of our questions. We had blackberry mimosas which were delicious and shared the meat and cheese plate, highly recommend it. I had the blt my friend the cheeky Benedict and the other an omelet. The problem was I never got my sandwich, when I asked the other bartender where mine was after 7 minutes or so he checked the computer and apologized, he didn't think the other girl put it in. 20 minutes later it still wasn't out, he apologized again and finally after about 30 minutes he brought it out. They comped it and the sandwich itself was good. The male bartender was much more friendly and apologetic then the female. She did our bills for us and messed up a few things on that as well. All in all I would come for drinks but maybe not food.
