Good service

By Nancy L |

Good service and large portions. Had the lunch special - so much food. The meat and humus were delicious. Great value.

Delish

By TheRealJ0E |

Dropped in here to check out their take on Mediterranean food. This place was legit delicious. I had the lamb plate and five wings. The lamb was soft and delicious, covered in a savory sauce served with a wonderful salad and fabulous dressing. The wings were flavored with the spicy honey barbecue. The entire selection seemed fantastic and the food was tasty. The only things I wasn’t real keen on were the dim lights and the lack of proper cleaning. Some of the tables had crumbs on them. Neither of those was a deal breaker and I will be back!

Good food and friendly service

By Leela F |

We enjoyed a reasonably priced and tasty meal. I had the veggie mezze plate, my son ate beef and my daughter had a sandwich. It was all fresh and good. The pita could have been warmed up, but other than that, it was all yummy. We liked it all. And the service was great - nice waiters very patient.

Great restaurant

By mxlovers |

Immediately upon entering, we were greeted by Management and they were very nice and professional explaining how to order and letting us know some of their customer favorites. We ordered the gyro meal and a pizza. Both were amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and calming. We live in Houston or we would be regulars at this restaurant.

Fantastic food, great service

Good Mediterranean Food

By Gary B |

I just went to the Arpeggio Grill with some family members for the first time. I didn't know what to expect since I'm not well versed in this type of food. My wife ordered the lunch special, which I can't begin to describe, and she liked it. It looked good to me. I defaulted to the Gyro combo, the only thing I recognized, and it was very good, not too filling. I want to go back and explore some of the other offerings. Yes, I would eat there again.

Great lunch special!!!

By Palmer E |

This was my first time here and I loved it! The people that work there were super nice, it really made for a great meal. The lunch special was so good with lots of options. Everything was delicious and fresh. Plus the building has a funky old school restaurant vibe. If you want good Mediterranean, go here!

Loved

By Wendy K |

I love this place. The owners are terrific. We always get the lunch special. Loved the tea , gyros and salads. Don't like the dressing but tzaki. Dolmas and baklava are great. I go At least once a week.

Take away

By Jamal A |

Advice to everyone: Do not try the chicken shawarma and falafel, very bad, Failed management whose goal is only to sell and take money from customers without quality or hospitality

When you just got to have some lamb, any of their dishes with lamb in it is awesome.

By canorseman |

Arpeggios Mediterranean grill a perfect little place that has everything you want Mediterranean and done very well. I'm not even going to try to paint a picture of how good their food is you're just going to have to go there and try it yourself. I have never been disappointed I've always been pleased with the prices, the service, and especially the food. Lamb kebabs to gyro sandwiches. Which by the way extra tzatziki sauce is a must. Because it's so good. And of course you're going to want to have some non bread, baklava, wrapped grape leaves, and any number of pungent, colorful, tasty dishes from this wonderful establishment. Kudos! You guys are one of my favorites.

Great lunch spot - offers both vegetarian and meats for a reasonable price

By capitollover |

My husband and I had the lunch "buffet" (they serve you, not self-serve) while waiting for our car to be ready at the dealership nearby. I had the Gyro Special which consists of Greek salad, 3 "sides", and a choice of 3 meats. I chose Tabbouleh, Dolmas, and grilled veggies to go with the gyro meat (lamb). All of the items were well cooked, spiced perfectly, and not greasy. These are musts for me. My husband had the same sides I chose, but he had the chicken. I tasted his chicken, and it was spiced just right, too. You may serve yourself pita or another type of bread, as well as a variety of condiments and drinks (coffee, tea, soda, water, etc.) Lunch for 2 was only $18.31, which I think is very reasonable. The place really fills up at lunch, but most seem to be working people on their lunch hour so it empties out quickly, too. Full at 12:30, but pretty empty by 1:15.

Great Greek

By ScottEP |

We had an excellent dinner here. Family-friendly service. Interesting décor. Reasonable prices. Excellent roast chicken and Gyros. Definitely worth a return trip.

great greek food

By Kelly W |

Until a few months ago we were unfamiliar with Greek food. My cousin invited us to accompany her the Arpeggio Grill. WE LIKED IT!!!!!! Since, we have eaten there several times. The lunch special is outstanding. And the price is right, too. We are still learning the menu and will have to make several more trips to become familiar with Greek food. A rough job, but we are willing to learn. If you are not familiar Greek food, then you might want to learn, also. If you are familiar Greek food, then you might enjoy Arpeggio Grill.

Great Variety

By Qbeing |

Five of us dined here on a Sunday night. We were quickly seated and a waiter was very prompt and took our orders cheerfully. However, that was the last we saw of him. A cook brought our food out. Nobody stopped by to see how we were doing. We ordered a great variety of entrees. All were good to excellent. Our only complaint was that the chicken was dry. The portions were large for the price; great value. We had to flag someone down for a to-go box, and later we had to walk to the server's station to get our check. Great food, great atmosphere, but the service was poor on this night.

Good food & service

By XVictorious |

The previous Trip Advisor reviews are spot on. The food is very good, generally all halal - don’t expect pork to be served here, and the service is friendly and efficient. The clientele eating in when I was there was generally of southwest asian descent, so by the measure of a restaurant with people of a heritage where the food is based, this place should be good. I enjoyed the diversity of the food offerings, but I noticed that the place is popular for its pizza with the Austin millennial crowd as well. If you like ‘Mediterranean’ or middle eastern food, try it out.

A great spot!

By Jessmessy |

The food was excellent! It seems to be family owned and operated and they really take pride in their business and making you feel at home. She even gave us free samples of the dessert to try on the house. I hope we get to visit again.

great place for lunch

By Don H |

What a great little restaurant with a lunch special. From Gyros to traditional greek fare, this is worth visiting.

Delicious Gyro

By Steve D |

This was my first visit to Arpeggio but not the last. I ordered the lunch sandwich combo with gyro, fries, and drink. The gyro was awesome! The lamb meat was so tender and the portion size was hearty. The fries were really good too. I also ordered baklava for dessert and it was very flaky and delicious. The service was very friendly and speedy. The atmosphere is unique and relaxing. The prices are hard to beat.

Okay pizza--not great, but not bad

By wanative57 |

We met a friend who lives in Austin. He preordered a vegetarian pizza because we were pressed for time. The pizza was fine--not the greatest I've ever had, but it tasted okay. If we'd had more time, we would've probably gotten the Mediterranean buffet--it looked like it had a lot of good choices. Next time!

Gyros and shawarma.

By Trek662543 |

Great gyros, hummus, baba ganoush, dolmas, and shawarma and a lot of other choices. Our first time here but if will definitely out this place on our list for Mediterranean food.

Awesome wings!!!! Great pizza!!! Superb...

By happygolooky |

Awesome wings!!!! Great pizza!!! Superb Greek lunch buffet!! I work next door. This place has it all!!

Great for lunch

By Tishabug |

We pop over from work fairly regularly for Arpeggio's lunch special. More fresh Mediterranean deliciousness than I can possibly finish for about the price of a McDonalds meal deal, and sevred just as fast. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, with ample space for larger walk-in groups. The staff is nice, and the food is fresh and tasty.

Great Find, Great Food, & Great Price

By StephiPoo |

We had a large group dinner planned for us at Arpeggio Grill. This was my first time at this place and it was very nice. Our wait staff was amazing and thorough. I ordered hummus as an appetizer, it was good. Ordered greek salad and pizza for dinner - awesome! There is even an option for floor eating for those intersted

Yummy Mediterranean Food in this Local Gem!

By Andi S |

Don't let the exterior scare you off. This restaurant is in a strip mall that's not the most appealing but it's great inside and the food is delicious. The falafel is the best I have had since moving to Austin. The Gyro and Shawerma meats are so flavorful and tender; they just melt in your mouth. If you want a bit of an authentic experience, you can sit at low tables on the floor with piles of pillows to make yourself comfortable. If you're not into that, there are plenty of tables. This is a Halal establishment though so no alcohol. I live in NW Austin so this is a bit of a drive for me. It's very much worth it!

Good food!

By MyHobbyIsTravel |

We shared the Vegetarian platter and the Arpeggio Chicken. $26, including tip, for both meals. Both were very good. Huge servings and we left full. The only minor downsides were that the taboula was very dry. And there were flys buzzing around the drinks area. That and the darkness of the restaurant gave it a feeling of uncleanliness. Would still return because the food was so tasty and moderately priced.

Great food, great staff!

By ChrisH1972 |

First time my wife and I had ever been to a Mediterranean grill. The staff was very helpful with recommendations, food was great! Great atmosphere!

Yummy Gyros!

By Rob524 |

I was staying at the Habitat Suites and after driving all day did not want to go far for food. I found the Arpeggio Grill was .4 of a mile away and decided I could drive that far! LOL. I ordered a Gyro, and the Lentil Soup. Both were super delicious! The staff was very nice and helpful. If you like Mediterranean and Greek Cuisine, then you should try it out.

Very nice food & service

By Abbas G |

Had a family dinner. It was crowded but the speed of service was still reasonable. Food was tasty. Clean & nice place.

Delicious food - definitely recommend

By lilmoonie |

Arpeggio Grill is a great little place that I passed almost everyday without ever noticing it. A co-worker of mine turned me on to it and I absolutely LOVE this place. I usually get either the chicken salad or chicken shawerma plate, but I've had the gyro too. Everything I've had has not disappointed. I recommend going for lunch where you can get a choice of meat, 3 sides and a drink for about $8. De

Finally - affordable and delicious Greek cuisine nearby!

By Chris B |

I'm a huge fan of Greek food, but it's hard to find any that's good. Sure, there are a few chains that are good enough to get your fix, but really good Greek food in Austin isn't easy to find. A coworker suggested this place, and so we tried it for lunch. Got there @ 11:15am, and there were only a few other people in the restaurant. We did the lunch specials - choice of meat (beef shwarma, chicken shwarma, or "gyro"), a Greek salad, and three sides. Quite a few sides to choose from: dolma, falafel, grilled veggies, hummus, rice, garbanzo bean/salad, tabbouleh, babaganosh, etc - even a slice of pizza) --- $7.99. Great food, quick service, and very friendly staff. By the time left around noon, there was a light out the door. Will go back and become a regular customer.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place

By Carol S |

Was a little skeptical while in the parking lot just looking at the restaurant but we were meeting family that recommended Arpeggio. Walked in and fell in love with the place. Very friendly, attentive service. We were just there to try the pizza, which was fantastic. And we did get the super size one - it has to sit on a table by itself it is SO big. The crust was so good, not heavy/doughy, but thin and flavorful. Hope to go back while visiting Austin again to eat our way through the menu.

Greek restaurant

By ginac4402015 |

Take out menu is same as restaurant menu... Beef Gyro's very nice.. rice and pita bread with an extra serving of hummus:). Very warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Very quaint! Will definitely eat there again. Next time I will order Naan bread:)

Lamb Fusion

By Allen P |

This restaurant has one of the most eclectic menus that I have seen. Everything from lamb kabob, to shawarma to pizza! The food was very good, and the folks here very easy to deal with. Not really a Greek place, but very good Middle Eastern spot. My only complaint is the bad, dry pita. FYI: Halal - so no alcohol or pork souvlaki.

One of our favorite spots

By SadieInAustin |

This restaurant has become a family favorite. It’s a family owned restaurant with very friendly customer service and the food always hits the spot! Whether you’re in the mood for Mediterranean food, Pizza, wings or burgers - this place has something for everyone!

Wonderful hidden gem. Pleasant,

By Pathfinder575162 |

Wonderful hidden gem. Pleasant, friendly staff and fantastic food at an affordable price. My husband and I each ordered a ‘sandwich’ ( gyros and a beef shawarma) and we were stuffed. I can’t imagine ordering the plate. The baklava was supreme. Support local not a chain.

Nice Dinner! Great value!

By Janet M |

Don't be fooled by the shabby exterior of this place in a strip mall - the inside is much nicer and the food is delicious. I had a lovely evening at this restaurant, which was recommended by a local.

Great food and friendly service

By papanew77363 |

We went for lunch and the counter staff immediately helped us navigate the lunch buffet. They were very friendly and patiently explained our options. The dolmas were outstanding and they offered four or five different sauces to satisfy any palate. I loved the gyros and my wife enjoyed the chicken shawarma. I wish we lived closer- i would love to sample the entire menu. Lunch with a greek salad, three sides, meat entree and a drink for two was less than $20.

A Terrific Experience

By Paul W |

This was a good surprise. We found the restaurant online with excellent reviews. We were a bit apprehensive driving through the area, but when we entered the venue we could sense the clean vibrant atmosphere. We were quickly seated. A high chair was brought for our toddler. It was explained that liquor was not permitted in the place, but this was not an issue for us. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and quickly related to our group. We ordered drinks and starters of humus and pita. The humus was absolutely delicious! We requested more pita which arrived very fast, hot from the oven. We ordered a variety of main courses including the lamb gyro salad, Greek salads, felafel salads and sandwiches with Baba Ganouch and Tabouleh. Everyone in our group raved about the food. Great job! Our server, Rekan continued to provide us with wonderful attentive support. He certainly helped making this meal a terrific experience. Thanks. Our only problem was that we were unable to experience all the different foods. We will definitely be back!!

Delicious

By Tarek A |

The food and atmosphere were very good, but not enough air conditioners and ceiling fans, it was really hot inside.

great mediterranean

By E R L |

Come for lunch. Great specials. I got the vegetarian plate, all my favorites- Greek salad, hummus, baba ganoush, tsatziki, falafel, pita, etc., including drink for $7.95 plus tax. ...more than I could eat. Excellent taste, fresh, nice decor, friendly staff. We'll be back soon.

Quick bite

By Alani A |

Lovely decor and friendly staff. The food was good and the price was great. Definitely recommend, next time I will request floor seating ;)

Great spot for lunch

By Stick N Poke Jimmy |

Stopped in for lunch today. First of all when you walk in you see a very clean Mediterranean style restaurant. instead of ordering off of the menu, we went with the lunch special. Its a Greek combination plate w/ 3 meat choices (chicken, shawarma and gyro), Greek salad, multiple sides, sauces and fresh pita. It was very tasty and a good deal $18 plus tip for two people. I will have to come back and check out the dinner service. I also like the traditional low tables on rugs with pillows.

Get the lunch special!

By Jack B |

Arpeggio is tucked away in a strip mall on Airport Blvd, and is easily overlooked at first glance. But inside is some of the best food I had during my three years in Austin! The staff is wonderfully friendly and the interior is so relaxing and welcoming. Most of their cuisine is Mediterranean/Greek, but they also have fantastic pizza, as well as burgers and wings that I never tried but I'm sure are great as well. The lunch special is amazing - you get your choice of meat, Greek salad, and three sides from a choice of items like tabbouleh, baba ghanoush, roasted vegetables, dolma, falafel, hummus, and more. I really enjoy their baba ghanoush, and their tzatziki is one of the few I've found that isn't watery and has good, real flavor. Be prepared if you order off the menu that it can take a little while, because they make everything fresh to order. But if you're in a hurry and you know what you want, you can call in your order ahead of time.

never again

By cathyhAustin_Texas |

I only give a two star only because of their customer service! Food was horrible!!! Im middle eastern and this is my favorite food. But this place, never again! they have so many people fooled. I know how the food is supposed to taste and this is far from it. First off I ordered a shawarama sandwich, they bring out ...well I don't know what to call it, but it was on a gyro bread with a side of tazaki sauce. the meat had absolutely no taste and cold. I had to ask for tahini sauce which is the right sauce for a shawarama sandwich. lol Second my husband ordered a mix plate , No taste. the koufte was not koufte it was gyro meat folded over. omg. The fettoush salad had no dressing or spices on it. The rice was plain with no spices. The houmous was runny. We ordered to go only because we promised a friend lunch, but we had to tell them exactly how we wanted it made..2 shawarama sandwiches on pita bread with tahini sauce and fettoush made the way it was supposed to. The funny part was when it was brought out to us, he said special ordered. lol You see most people that go in there are ok with the food because they dont know how it is really supposed to taste. I grew up in Detroit which is the closest to the middleeast food as anyone can get.

Chicken salad.

By Ansje55 |

This was a very unexpected find. You walk in the door and immediately you feel like you might be on the Mediterranean coast. The walls are painted with murals of a Mediterranean scape. The restaurant is clean and has a lovely atmosphere showing pride of ownership of this family run business. The service was great. Unfortunately we were not very hungry and just wanted a light salad. The salad we ordered was very fresh with tasty chicken. It was served with feta, calamity olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, red onion, and pita bread. It came with a side of yogurt and vinegarette dressings. We could not resist having one piece of baklava which was made with honey as opposed to many places who have substituted syrup. Will definitely go back again to try the other enticing listings on the menu!

Unexpected, great find...

By Kristin S |

went here based on hotel's recommendation. We all had great, middle eastern- style food. Tzaziki was fabulous. Very kind, attentive & very respectful staff. They also make pizza & homemade baclava, which we didn't get to try. Don't let the exterior scare you off...

What a pleasant surprise! Yummy food and Halal, too!

By JandJ18 |

Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals. He had a Veggie Pizza and I had the Gyro Salad. both were excellent. I liked the Chicken lemon soup. It is not Avgolemeno Soup but similar minus the eggs! Still yummy. Attentive service as well. As a side note, They offer a 30 inch Pizza that looked amazing!

Dishonest management

By HDD |

Put in a grub hub order this evening. When we arrived, we were told the order had not been received and apparently the printer hadn't been working for some time. They even asked us to tell us what we had ordered via grubhub so they could prepare the order then. We told them to cancel the order and left. I contacted grub hub to cancel the order as well, and when they contacted the restaurant, the manager lied about the experience. They first said the order had been picked up already. They then changed their story that they had just told us it was running late. They then informed grubhub it was now ready and they were therefore charging my card. I will never spend my money at Arpeggio again. Very upsetting experience with a dishonest manager.

Great pizzas, giant pizzas and pretty good mezza

By Mary S |

I think it's self service cafe line and then they bring it to you. I don't think they usually take table orders. The interior has some traditional seating areas on the floor with rugs and pillows but the majority of the seating is normal, tables and chairs. The food is good but not outstanding but I think you get a good value for the money. If you get the giant pizza it may not fit in your car trunk. It's that big!!! My grandkids love to go here.

Wonderful Surprise

By babotski |

If we lived in Austin, Arpeggio would definitely be one of regular haunts. It is a sweet, unpretentious Middle Eastern/ Greek restaurant that serves wonderfully prepared food. My husband had the gyro plate and remarked that it was some of the best he has ever had, including New York, Paris and Montreal. My shrimp kebob was moist and beautifully spiced. Arpeggio does not serve liquor, but it is about the food. Go and enjoy.

I dream of their Garlic Sauce....

By Madalo |

Arpeggio is always crowded at lunchtime, and it’s not hard to see why. For about 8 bucks you get a delicious place with your choice of salad, meat, hummus, falafel, dolmas, and all sorts of Mediterranean things I can’t spell—not the mention an exquisite garlic sauce. The people who run the place are very friendly and thoughtful. When I sat in the foyer waiting for my friends last week, they offered me hot tea while I waited. I’ve read that the building was once a Schlotzky’s, which is hard to believe—the restaurant is comfortable, inviting, and it just feels good. Or that that just my afterglow from the garlic sauce?

It's ok

By plz2meatu |

We had a nice evening there, a group of 5. Wide assortment of food, salads, lamb chops, gyros, etc. Everything was pretty good, nothing fantastic. Good service, pleasant atmosphere. Would return if craving Greek food.

Best Ever

Love this place,Feeling like home Appreciate your dedication to make food fresh and tasty. My kids always ask me to go back here

Excellent Mediterranean Food and Friendly Staff / Owner

By Travel78746 |

My boyfriend and I eat at Arpeggio every 1-2 months. The food is always very good. The last time we visited was the first time I went there during the daytime when they have a buffet. I still basically ate the same thing -- their vegetarian platter. It's usually more food than I can eat at one time so end up taking food home. The owner and his staff are all very friendly. The hot tea is excellent as well. It's a somewhat hidden gem and I keep telling people about Arpeggio Grill. Try it if you are in Austin and love Mediterranean food!

Can you say Gyro 😃

By Harmony5757 |

Went for dinner and pulling up was not sure about this place however the reviews were good. The server ice was really good and the two guys that manly took care of me were really nice and friendly. The chicken was really good but the Gyro meat was probably the best I've had anywhere. Lentil soup was good.

Best falafel ever!

By Quinten S |

This place has a great atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was very good! The falafel were the best we've had since Egypt. This was a great experience.

Great Lunch Speciala

By docwhiteaustin |

Two of us had lunch on a Wednesday. Gyro meat and chicken shawarma were both very good, as was the hummus, baba ganoush, Greek salad, and other sides. We both especially liked the garlic sauce available to spoon on to your heart's content. Dolmas were tasty with tender grape leaves, but little texture on the inside. Very fresh and tasty and quite the bargain at $8-9 per plate, drinks included. Highly recommended.

Good food, reasonable prices

By dracones |

To keep it short, I plan on going again. Last time I went: -the mesa platter was great and a good value. both the chicken and the gyro in the plate were great and the amount of food was saisfying -baba ganoush was excellent. Hummus was bland and disappointing -fresh pita not available right away, and only in small quantities (perhaps understandable as it was late and probably they were not expecting many more customers -their kitchen equipment is definitely not being cleaned regularly and thoroughly. In the see-through kitchen you can see grease deposits clearly baked in,..possibly in part due to the age of the equipment.

horrible

By eman68us |

dirty place, you can smell mold. kitchen covered with material curtain. we had the most expensive dishes it was horrible.

A Healty Food Eatery Indeed!

By Syed Sabir Shah |

Arpeggio Grill - Austin Along with a friend's family we dined at Arpeggio Grill the other day and found it extremely wonderful place to be. The seating arrangement is nice & cozy, staff just as cordial, food quality beyond belief and food quantity very generous. Simply we were in for a pleasant surprise. The restaurant basically serves Mediterranean food and all items are cooked right in front of you. Soft music plays on while you are eating, whereas appetizer keeps the waiting 'misery' down. I was a bit surprised in seeing majority of clientele "white American families" as I was expecting middle eastern Arab or subcontinental (Indian/Pakistanis) families. Out of curiosity I asked some waiting American families for being there, "food is good" came the common reply. Indeed food was more than good as it greatly satisfies your palatal desires, sits softly on stomach, doesn't cost overly, and leaves no "heaviness" that one feels post meal. Arpeggio Grill has the ambience, welcoming staff, extremely nice food, and is located in a decent neighborhood. We were impressed so much by the whole experience that we returned the next day, and eaten there twice in as many days. I will highly recommend gyros, ribs, lamb shank, Koufta kebab, and will encourage to try some appetizer like Hummus or Baba Ghanouj etc. The only downside I observed was, the place is crowded and takes longer than in other restaurants in the area if you are caught up in noon or evening rush hours. Still, the wait is worth it's while considering the culinary delight. Had a chitchat with the ever-smiling owner who felt proud for not compromising on food quality and healthy ingredients. Although use of healthy ingredients was costlier, he was upbeat about serving people with healthy food. Resultantly you won't get bloating, stomach heaviness, acidity or uneasiness that one usually gets after indulging in a heavy meal, he chirped. His boast surely wasn't misplaced. Word of caution; do not forget to sign yourself in the register upfront with the table number you are sitting or else waiting period will be excruciatingly longer because the staff consult register for serving orders.

This place is amazing!

By shehnazh2016 |

I love this place! Fantastic service, great food, and cozy atmosphere! Their pizza is the best in history!

Want to come back and sit on the pillows! Easy take-out!

By bjlemont |

We were staying at Habitat Suites and wanted an easy take-out dinner. This met 6 different personalities. Chicken wings and baklava were typical of any restaurants. Daughter loved the chicken shawarma sandwich and wanted to order it again the next day. The other 4 shared and finished the large meat eater and garlic chicken pizzas. Would come back to have a platter, sit on the pillows and enjoy the experience. (Delivery was not available that night but we were close and picked up our order. It was ready, hot and the server remembered my name and our order)

Mediterranean PLUS amazing pizza and wings

By SadieInAustin |

This has become our go-to spot for family and friends, particularly those looking for halal (zabiha) food in Austin. Not only do they have great Mediterranean dishes, but their pizza, wings and burgers are also must tries. Family-owned restaurant with professional and friendly staff.

Great Greek!

By MB2Smith |

I've been fortunate see the transformation of Schlotzky's into Arpeggio Grill. The change is a great one. Their Mediterranean lunch special is fresh, filling, and affordable. The food overall is great and the staff is always attentive and helpful. It's amazing what they have done with that corner. The interior is clean and inviting. I always enjoy my meal and the service.

Yumm!!!

By Sara A |

Been to arpeggio grill several times, i.e. Every two or three weeks. The food is just so good and fresh. We bring all our guests here atleast once and it's become their favorite too! Best gyros and halal pizza in town. For wings lovers and shawarma, and some kebabs- it's great too. Hands down my favorite restaurant any day in Austin! The staff is super friendly. The service is excellent. Ambience is great. Sitting arrangements are cool!

Friendly Staff and Delicious Food

By angieann10 |

This is a family-run Mediterranean restaurant with some of the friendliest waitstaff I've ever met! I actually ended up feeling like I had been lifelong friends with my waiter by the time we left. I highly recommend their Gyros Plate--their lamb is the best in town. They prepare and cook it using a special method that eliminates that gamey taste that usually accompanies lamb, leaving behind a tender, succulent meat! And you can sit on the floor if you want to feel even more authentic :)

Solid wings

By USCKaboom |

This Mediterranean place has a lot of options. We came forward the wings which my in-laws love. They have a ton of flavors. We got the garlic and nuclear.

Great for lunch

By bandman15 |

I discovered this restaurant by accident and am I glad I did. If you like Mediterranean food, this is a great and inexpensive option.....especially for lunch. You have a choice of an entree and three sides plus your drink all for &8.95 to $11.95....depending on the meat you select. The taste of the food was great and, because it is a cafeteria style service, it is quick. You can also order off the menu. I’ll go back when I’m in Austin.

wonderful find

By texasbob |

this is a great mideastern resturant hidden away on airport. great lunch combo plate until 3pm,friendly people, very atmospheric and cheap--try their homemade different version of bakalava

Good healthy lunch! Great value!

By Jay F |

Stopped by for lunch on our first visit and had the lunch specials. One was a Greek salad with three sides and chicken and the other was vegetarian with Greek salad and four sides. Each was priced at $7.95. Everything was fresh and good but we thought the hummus, the baba ghanoush, and the falafel were the best. Good salad dressings but I preferred the tziziki. Staff was friendly and gave good service. We will definitely go back!

Saturday 1st time here

By Alena P |

great food fast service Had the garlic lemon pepper chicken and a hot tea and baklava. All very good. One person with us had gyro combo and hot spicy wings..he was also happy.

Nice find

By Jack D |

We went here in part because it was with a reasonable walk from our hotel. That, and we like eastern Med foods. Even fixed dolmas and souvlaki for family a few days ago. We shared a vegetarian mezza platter and a kofta kebab. The baba ghanoush was creamy with a wonderful smoke. The hummus was also creamier than I’m used to, but it was good as well. The kofta and dolmas were delicious. Ended our meal with some excellent baklava. This could be a go to place if I lived here.

Lunch review--it is another order from the bar venue

By 1234texas |

Despite the fact that you have to look at the menus while in line and wait for the cash register to open, the experience here was a good one. We do not get to this area very much and we simply took our chances. It is a Mediterranean place with a real Turkish influence/touch. The decorating is clearly what you can see in Turkey and the food has a definite style more closely related to Turkey. Nothing wrong with that, but it is a "heads up" for those of you looking for an Italian style--like I was! The staff is very friendly and they do bring your meal to your table. The portions are very large and the prices very reasonable. The parking is easy--in a strip center and set back from the road. The place was very well occupied and it looked like a lot of regulars use the establishment. Many families were there. We will consider it on our next trip over to this side of town North and just west of I 35..

Great Pizza

By MycornerofTexas |

We were having a staff party at the office and someone recommended Arpeggio. The outside look and feel in the strip mall was not very appealling BUT the interior was wonderful and very inviting. We decided to order a couple of pizzas ... one was their Giant which was a big hit with the staff. It was HUGE and barely fit through the restaurant door. It takes a good 30 minutes to cook the giant. If you have time before the order is ready sit down and enjoy some of the hot tea it was wonderful. The garlic chicken and the works pizzas were delicious and very flavorful. Everyone loved the pizza! We will get back!!!!

Unappealing exterior but good food and GREAT service

By Jen78703 |

I have driven past Arpeggio for years and wondered about it. But it's in a really unappealing location and there are so many restaurants on my list that I just hadn't stopped in. We were in the area and a friend said their food was incredible so we decided to eat there. It was fairly close to closing but the waiter could not have been nicer. He took the time to explain some of the menu items and even offered us dessert even though at that point it was past closing. We thanked him and asked if we could take it to go! The interior is really pretty. They have interesting tables and chairs that make me feel like I could be in another country. One side has the option to sit on carpets and low tables- what fun! We ordered several different sampler plates and they were all excellent. My husband loved the chicken shawerma. My daughter and her friend loved the koufta kabobs and I loved all of the options on my vegetarian plate. The baba ganouj had almost a fermented taste- not bad just really different. The table next to us ordered a pizza and we all about fell out of our chairs when it arrived- it was HUGE!!! I rarely go to a restaurant twice- just too many good places in Austin on my "try list" but I am going to come back with my kids just so we can order the giant pizza and sit on the floor!

Excellent lunch specials

By TJErmoian |

I had the Gyro plate with Greek salad, pita and 3 sides and drink for 8.99. Had the hummus, tabbouli, and falafel for sides. I especially liked the free sauces; tzatziki, green chutney, garlic aoli, and red sambal. The gyro meat was hot and crispy, and with better seasoning than the frozen Kronos you see everywhere. We liked the pillow seating area where you can remove your shoes and relax with low tables (great for the young and limber).

Saturday lunch - Ok

By Gregory M |

I was in the mood for mediterranean food, so I stopped here on a whim, after finding it on another restaurant app. The place is in a strip center, not real obvious until you're right in front of it on Airport Blvd. Upon entering, the layout is authentic, even down to the traditional middle eastern style floor tables reserved for adults only. I chose to try the $9 lunch buffet that includeedone meat and three vegetables. I chose gyro for the meat. Unfortunately, the serving size of the "three vegetables" is the equivalent of about 1 good size serving. That aside, the food was good quality, and the service was too as I asked the check out guy to warm up my complementary pita bread. He agreed, but said he could could only do it "because they were not crowded." Not what I would have said, but whatever. :) Recommended for a quick, inexpensive lunch (that's not too filling).

Good Basic Mediterranean Food

By Njoytravl |

Good little neighborhood restaurant that does sit down and carry out. The hummus was pretty good, the fattoush was too heavy on the lettuce without enough cucumbers and tomatoes, but the gyro was delicious. A comfortable atmosphere with friendly wait staff. Reasonable prices.

Good food and atmosphere

Great authentic Greek/Mediterranean food. Friendly staff (some owners and family). Adults can sit in the "sit on cushions on the floor" section. I always get the falafel sandwich but our friends enjoy the various mixed plates. Sandwiches come with fries but they were happy to sub rice for me. We've also had the pizza and it is good. Lunch specials. Don't let the old strip shopping center facade fool you.

Great lunch in Austin

By vahanning |

Great lunch for $12 which included drink, salad, three vegetables, gyro meat and pita bread. Everything was delicious and I would definitely eat here again when I’m back in Austin

Food is delicious, atmosphere is great, service needs work

By sultanofaustin |

This is the best middle eastern/Greek/Mediterranean place in town. The food is awesome. The wings are out of this world. However, on a busy day, they don't have enough servers to bring out your food in a reasonable amount of time or they will completely forget :-( But despite that , I would go again!

Very Good Lunch with a lot of options

By El_Pirata |

Went there for lunch and went down the "line." Great variety of options. Food was very good and staff were extremely friendly. Excellent meal for $7.95. I need to try the regular menu.

Great vegetarian food

Hummus and falafels are great. Staff is very friendly and courteous. The vegetarian options are numerous and the lunch buffet makes it easy to have a quick, tasty meal.

Local and delish

By mostly_martha |

Sit on the floor at low tables (no shoes!) on persian rugs for authentic experience. Food is yummy and the same few staff are always there and always friendly. Limited menu but it's all good, save for the falafel. Authentic gyro meat. They also sell local honey for a good price!

Great food, great service, great price!

I drove by Arpeggio and noticed all the cars in the parking lot. This is usually a good sign and I was right! The ambiance is great and I felt very comfortable sitting in the dining room but there were several groups. Everyone was relaxed and enjoying conversation. There is a steady take out business too. They have something for everyone here. I'm a vegetarian and the very friendly gentleman who took my order guided me through many wonderful choices. Be sure and try the lunch special during the week! I will be back tomorrow!

Nice Find

We had received a recommendation for this place because we enjoy Mediterranean Cuisine. We were not disappointed. This is not a high-end restaurant, rather it is more of a neighborhood place. The food was excellent, and the staff was so friendloy that we almost felt like family. When in Austin, this will be a definite stop for lunch or dinner.

one sentence, how bout one word- Hospitality!

By viator805 |

Great hospitality friendly staff and even better food. The lunch specials offer more bang for your buck and you get to choose what items you want , it also includes a drink.

Pizza is the Best

By M T |

The Pizza at Arpeggio Grill is fresh and very delicious and the next day it is even better. They have a large and an extra large that will feed a large group. the Hummus and Gyro is also excellent.

Great Mediterranean Food

By TexasGal97 |

Great Mediterranean food. Try the hummus and the dolmas for an appetizer. Tasty! The shawerma plates (chicken or beef) are fresh and filling. What makes this place stand out is the customer service. The family that owns it is hospitable and always customer-service oriented. Be sure to drink a cup of their special green tea with honey too. The pizza is good don't expect New York style here. Crust is on the thicker side. The one that stands out is the "Greek Pizza" in terms of their specialty pies. It is topped with feta cheese, tomato, onion, gyro meat, green pepper, mushrooms, green & black olives & extra cheese. Expect to have a leisurely meal here in the evening as everything is cooked to order. Atmosphere is eclectic - Greek cafeteria style meets Arabian style.

Not good, not bad not going back

By rickgreenberg100 |

I was in the mood for Middle Eastern food and nothing heavy. My associate and I drove across town to get there and while it isn't hard to find, it is off the beaten path is a pretty run down strip center. The place has a decent atmosphere and on arrival we were seated and our server showed up for drinks. We got those and ordered. We ordered two appetizers that never showed up! Our entrees arrived and they were decent. The service was just realtively poor and that tainted our whole visit. Then when we went to pay, they couldn't figure out their "new" POS!?!?. Not going back!

Okay but not great or special

By Nikki S |

Overall, the food was very average. I had the chicken shawarma plate, hummus, and pita bread. The pita was dry and hard and the hummus was average. There wasn't anything great about the chicken shawarma plate but they're also wasn't anything really bad about it. It was just average. The staff was great: very helpful and very polite . I probably would not go back to this restaurant because I know there's better Mediterranean food in the Austin area.

Atmosphere, Service, excellent Greek Food, and a reasonable Price!

By David E |

The six of us(2 generations of adults and 2 4 yr old (twin boys) descended upon this wonderful Greek restaurant which an upgrade from the old location. The water fountain is a nice greeting and the beautiful murals fill the walls of the restaurant creating a nice atmosphere. The menu is varied featuring most of your favorite Greek dishes and we loved the lamb, the Gyros, the hummis, the veggies, and the pizza as well, as the palates varied around the table. The staff was attentive and patient with the little ones too! I picked up the ticket and was shocked at how low the total was. I checked it over to make sure it was all there just to make sure! This was not my first visit there, nor will it be my last. There many places to eat in Austin, but if you want something besides comfort food or BBQ, try Arpeggio's Grill. I think you will enjoy it and I know your pocket book will!
