We have had vegetarian options. Tried the spicy red tomato sauce, white cheese sauce and gorgonzola sauce. Our children just love it. We are happy that they opened up a second location.

We have had vegetarian options. Tomato sauce with mozzarella, parmesan sauce and gnocchi with walnuts. We come regularly and think it is the best authentic pasta place we have ever had. We have been here at least 10 times.

The guy taking orders tonight at Thicket for Artipasta was a MASSIVE jerk with zero ability to deal with customer service. I had one simple question about their menu and he snapped at me like I had done something personally offensive to him. I told multiple people to not spend their money here and that they should spend their money on another truck that deserves their business more.

This is THE MOST AMAZING PASTA i've ever had. I've never before eaten anything this good, and you can tell everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients!! I have already tried caserecce with basil pesto, cacio e pepe spaghetti, lasagna and I'm looking forward to try their tagliatelle with house meat sauce. I highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy a delicious dish of Italian pasta.

For over 30 years, when asked,"where's a good Italian Restaurant in Austin?" My go to response has been, "There's no REAL Italian restaurant in Austin..." Being born and spent my childhood in Naples, Italy finding a truly Italian food restaurant has been difficult over the PAST 58 years. I met in Phoenix,(during the mid- 80s), an Italian couple from Salerno, that owned and did all the cooking in their restaurant, (closed in late 1990s) and have great memories of parties at the restaurant with the Tonight Show Bands, Doc Severinsen... In the mid 2000s, I was told by my wife's Italian Hair Stylist of an Italian restaurant in downtown Houston that we might like. Perbacco Italian restaurant in Houston's downtown Theater District, also proved to be a, "TRUE ITALIAN" restaurant the owner/Chef is from Capri, Italy. My wife and I, did regular weekend trips from Austin just to enjoy Perbacco's authentic Neapolitan and Caprese Italian food... FINALLY! as of October 12th 2024, I can no longer say that Austin Lacks a true Italian restaurant. When you visit the Artipasta restaurant (not the food truck in South Austin), in North Austin, their TRADITIONAL Italian Food will not include: 1 - Garlic Bread, (in Italy when I was a kid we were told only farmers ate bread with pasta...) 2 - Spaghetti sauce smothered Meatballs over spaghetti 3 - Alfredo sauce I ordered To-Go to test out how their pasta would taste after about 45 minutes. In the past the pasta has been overcooked and mushy, the rare times I ordered from an "Italian" Restaurant in Austin and wishing I hadn't... The pasta dish I had from ARTIPASTA, Casarecce pasta with Sausage and Broccoli tasted so good it sent me back to my childhood. I thought and said to my, (Salerno, Italy raised) wife who heartily agreed, " FINALMENTE!!!...we can go to a REAL Italian restaurant here in AUSTIN.

This piace is amazing!!! The pasta is super fresh, the sauce is stunning and the portions are great for the price. Also the staff is super friendly! I’m looking forward to coming back and working my way through the menu. Also: plenty of parking in this food truck park! Absolutely my favorite!!!
Excellent homemade pasta and lots of choice!
We went to this place during a holiday in Austin, we were looking for "well done" Italian dishes. Our expectations were confirmed and we ate really good gnocchi with pesto and spaghetti cacio e pepe. Excellent preparation, tasty and well-made dishes, right portions, very kind waiters, not to mention the owner, Dear Mr Ugo, who stayed with us very pleasantly. Clean, informal place. I absolutely recommend!
