Okay food but nothing to write home about. Servings are large enough to share between two, save a little by just getting one dish to share.

I chose this restaurant because it was close to the hotel i was staying at. The food was very average, the roll i had as an appetizer was OK and the orange beef main course I almost sent back. Dessert was actually good. Would not return

Asia on the Parkway serves good food with great service. The outdoor seating is nice on a cool day for lunch. The food is just good and not that remarkable as such I felt the cost was a little high. Not much better than your neighborhood Chinese restaurant but 50% more expensive.

Four of us ate here on a Saturday night kind of empty for a Saturday. Spring rolls were ok, all of the other dishes were average sort of like mall food court Chinese. The older women who ran the place was rude and just doesn't understand customer service. There has to be better Chinese options near for their prices look elsewhere.

The outdoor patio is great and the food was really good. The only thing was the waiter was not particularly friendly to others (fine to me but I noticed he was a bit rude to several others).

A friend tried the sesame chicken and it looked good. I was excited that they had Thai food on the menu, however the green curry was not green curry. It had absolutely no flavor and spicy was not the least bit spicy.

This is my third time at this restaurant. Really, if you like appetizers, this is a swell place. We had shrimp dumplings, beef dumpling, crab balls, California rolls and a thai chicken in a mango shell. What a treat! I'll come back any time for a great service and a food atmosphere. By the way, avoid Sundays; there's nobody there; or go for it, if you like being exclusive!

I stay at the Embassy Suites next door and this is my go to Asian place at least once a week. The Shrimp Shuma is excellent and their Pad Thai is great as well.

Food was pretty good, our group arrived at different times yet they somehow were able to serve us all at the same time. The spicy dishes were not too spicy. The wonton soup was very good. No complaints from out table.

Relaxing, pleasant atmosphere. Server was extremely dignified and attentive. Enjoyed our meals, but did not consider them to be outstanding. Near Embassy Suites.

Had mo go gi pan (sp?) and my bride had Thai curry with chicken. Both came with a bowl of rice. Plenty of food and I'm a big eater. Before 6:30 is happy hour. $4.00 for a glass of wine. Service was good too.

Restaurant is located in the Windsor Suites Hotel, only a couple of blocks northwest of City Hall. The Hunan Chicken is excellent along with the lobster special. It's about a 1 1/2 pound lobster, split down the middle for easy access to meat. I had another meal with scallops and shrimp that was quite good. If you sit in the bar area they usually have Kirin draft beer for $1.50 per glass. I've eaten there several times and have been pleased except once when the filet mignon I ordered was a bit chewy.

We chose to have lunch at this restaurant because it was very close to our hotel and since it was a very cold day, we did not want to venture far. It was very busy for lunch and I thought it would take forever to get us seated and receive slow service. But after a little bit of a wait, we were seated and promptly served. Given the number of people on there, they did quite well.. And the food was very good. They brought out each appetizer at the perfect time so that we could savor each one and then we had our delicious entree. That same day, in the evening, friends of ours suggested we have dinner there. We did not tell them we just had lunch there so as not to complicate plans. Besides, we wanted to kn\ow if they were consistently good. They were. It was not as crowded for dinner but the scallops and shrimp dish we ordered were really good and the service was also very good. We're used to dining in Chicago so I thought the prices here were reasonalble. I recommend this place highly. .

We called ahead for takeout, arriving as requested. Best item we ordered (and ate) was brown rice (3/5), the rest of the meal for four of us rapidly plunging downward toward 1/5. Shrimp dumplings (2/5), spring rolls (1.5/5), partially-eaten Mixed Veggies 1/5, half-eaten Beef with Shitaki Mushrooms (1/5), and so on. The fortune cookies, sadly, finally felt like 3/5... The hallmark of every item was soggy and bland vegetables. (Might they have been "previously frozen" instead of "fresh"?) All dishes tasted and looked as if prepared hours before our takeout, and the beef was tough and tasteless. The "front office" staff were most pleasant, but their offerings left a sour taste in our mouths. Really, vending machine stuff might give Asia on the Parkway a run for their money.

I dined here because I got back late and there were few options available near my hotel at the hour. Gave them a try, and it's your typical takeout-quality Chinese food, only dressed up. If you stay at the hotel (Windsor Suites), you get a slight discount on your order.

I ordered take out of shrimp fried rice and sho mai. The sho mai was home mai and excellent (not frozen). Tasty fried rice with lots of large shrimp.

I'm thankful I was introduced to this place by a co-worker. When in town for business I always make a stop here. Pros: - great selection of food - great taste - great service - great prices Cons: - none I could find

Ate here twice during my stay--once for a quick lunch and once for a snack. The portions are absolutely gigantic, almost to a fault. The lunch special could easily feed three people--they should halve the lunch portion and reduce price. The food is fresh enough but it isn't the most flavorful or authentic Asian food--it's definitely prepared to appeal to a western palate.

Found this place walking by. It was nice, clean and quiet restaurant. Location is great, food is tasty and fresh. A little slow on waitress side but it was Saturday night.

I just moved back to the area and was searching for good Pad Thai. I found it here. It was everything I was looking for and then some. I try and eat it once a week. The server even knows me now and brings me extra hot sauce. If your in Philly this is a great choice and in a great location.

As we stated in the title we have already returned because we love the food and reasonably priced drinks! The steamed shrimp dumplings melt in your mouth and the salad dressing is a different take which is nice. The regular menu drinks are cheap in comparison to the other mixed drinks in the vicinity. You don't have to rush to happy hour to enjoy good drinks! We love it!

This restaurant was very near my hotel and looked like it would be good for a glass of wine and some appetizers for a small dinner. The staff were courteous and attentive. The menu offered a nice selection of chinese and thai food. The two appetizers I ordered were nicely prepared and tasty. No complaints about the food. The only problem was a group of diners (maybe 6 or so people) who were incredibly loud, rowdy and swearing. After I finished my wine, I asked to have my food boxed up so I could finish it in my hotel room. The only other customer had resorted to putting on headphones and was watching a movie on her tablet.

The garlic chicken is very tasty. A short walk from the Curio Hotel, nice ambiance, and very nice servers. Definitely recommend

We arrived after a 3 hour drive. We were hungry and cold. This was the first place we saw. We ordered Thai rice and Mongolian beef. There were 3 of us and that was enough food for all. The food was very good and the service by the waiter was exceptional.

Asia on the Parkway has a nice selection of Chinese & Thai cuisine menu items near Logan Square. I was here for dinner, and had the egg drop soup followed by the orange peel chicken + brown rice. All items were tasty (the chicken was not too spicy, even with the chili peppers as flavoring), and service was prompt on a slow weekday evening.

We had a variety of dishes, all of which were quite good. My wife who really enjoys spring rolls said theirs were the best she's had.

Wanted a good Friday night dinner and not sorry to try this place. Caught the end of happy hour and the drinks were pretty cheap for Philadelphia prices. Had the Asian specials....one pasta and one rice and both were delicious. The place was quiet and not loud with a large crowd. We really enjoyed the dinner and ambiance. Price for the dinner and drinks was really fair with the hotel discount. Recommend this place...especially for those staying at the Windsor Suites.

I chose this place due to its proximity to the hotel. It's a bit dated on the inside. The silverware and plates need to be updated. I had a couple of chipped plates. The food was above average but not outstanding. They have a mix of Asian food, mostly oriented around traditional Chinese style.

Varied menu with lots of choices. I went for Chinese dishes. The "Happy Family" with seafood was a tasty main course that I enjoyed. The dumplings that I chose to start Wes very disappointing--too heavy and chewy. Nice decor, decent service and convenient to several hotels and offices.

The ambiance is not the greatest but you will not be disappointed by the food. We had some chicken and veg dumplings to start they were steamed and then lightly fried and totally yummy. Then we had a shrimp and veg dish which was equally tasty and packed full of shrimp and veg. My other half had a shrimp and chicken rice noodle dish, it was nicely spicy and the sauce spread throughout. If you are wondering whether to go, DO, you won't be disappointed by the food! Finally, be aware, it's not free soda refills which surprised us when we received the bill but at $2 each you can't really argue!

We ate here because we were staying at the Windsor which is in the same building. The food was really good, as was the service.

The Thai dishes do not really have the Thai flavor. For example, spicy squid thai tasted like a Chinese spicy, almost Human style dish with peppers, onions, and squid. Spicy souce came on a side, so did the rice. I suspect that japanese food, such as sushi rolls are not really japanese. Anybody can roll the sushi, but to do it right, requires a japanese trained chef. Interiors are nice, good for meeting, and service is fast. In essence, if you are hungry for good Chinese food, this place is not bad.

i had chicken pad-thai. portion was big enough. taste was very good. overall good experience. stuff can smile more:)

I was a little worried about this place based on how it looked from the outside. Was I wrong! The food was excellent and the service superior. It many different Asian dishes, all of which look delicious. Make a point to go here.

In seeing the reviews, I was really excited to try this restaurant, but ultimately I was rather disappointed. The service was very good, and the people were nice, but the food was mediocre. I ordered the coconut/chicken thai soup (I forget the name of it), and the mushrooms seemed like they might be canned. The pad thai was just not very good; I have tried pad thai in just about every major (and not so major) city, and this definitely ranked toward the bottom. The oddest thing was that there were no refills on cokes, and I didn't realize it until they gave me the bill. I didn't think to ask because I don't know of any restaurants in the U.S. in the year 2013 that charges for refills on fountain sodas. I suspect there is better Thai food in Philadelphia!

I have absolutely no complaints about this restaurant at the base of the Windsor Suites hotel. I was in a vegetarian mood so I got the Tofu/Veggie soup, which was fresh tasting with a light but flavorful stock. Then a small order of steamed vegetable dumplings. Also very good. The prices were reasonable, at least for my dishes

Nothing was good about this place. The waiter could not understand anything on the menu. The Tom Kha soup was watery and flavorless. The Bo Luc Lac was so tough you could not even chew it. So so horrible. I was choking on the meat and did not even have water to help wash it down as the last time we ever saw our waiter was when he took our order. Please avoid this place.

Ordered a bloody Mary which was watered down tomato juice and no spice, which was pretty much the standard of the food.

The menu has all sorts is Asian food (ex Chinese, Thai, Japanese). The orange chicken was very flavorful and the chicken wasn't fried. The mushrooms and water chestnuts nicely absorbed the flavor. My only complaint is that both the tea and the entree were served scaldingly hot.

The food here seems to have been neutered for tourists: the Lobster Summer Roll starter was very tasty, but the food went downhill quickly. Our shared Cucumber Salad was bland, as was my wife's Chow Fun Noodles with Beef: no better than at any takeout joint with a plexiglass barrier. Heartburn followed. My Jumbo Special Scallop and Shrimp in Lemongrass -- they say their most popular dish -- had a hint, but no more, of lemongrass -- I could have used salt! To top it off, my Blue Hawaii cocktail came bright green. Second-rate Chinese food, served outside the Windsor Suites hotel.

We had dinner here the night before the Philly Marathon. The restaurant is attached to the Windsor Suites so it was convenient for us and we wanted to get an early night. The food was good but not awesome. Very traditional American-Chinese food. The hotel is only a few blocks from Chinatown so I think that might explain the lack of a crowd. A good meal if you want to stay at the hotel (they will also bring you food via room service). but if you want authentic Chinese food walk a few blocks.

Nothing like an Asian Restaurant to watch the AFC Championship! It was freezing outside that night and I started off with a soul warming Irish Coffee (see picture) that hit the spot. My main course was the filet mignon (see picture) with a brown sugar sauce spiced with small red peppers and garlic...very tasty. Overall, I would recommend this location for good Asian food.

I went here with a few colleagues for a holiday lunch. Our reservation was for noon, but we didn't need it; however, by the time we left, the place was full. We all liked everything we ordered: chicken and broccoli entree, egg rolls, soup, and some other items. The only minor complaint is that our server never asked if we wanted refills despite the fact that we weren't finished with our meals when we emptied our sodas.

Food was lovely, portions quite big. We received 30 per cent discount on food as we were staying at The Windsor Suites. Service good and polite staff.

We ate here the evening we arrived for a girls weekend trip to the city. We chose this restaurant because it was at our hotel, The Windsor Suites, and offered a discount for hotel guests. The potions were a good size. Our appetizers good. I found my mango chicken to be bland, but not bad.

Service was great but the food was mediocre. Not really fresh and the flavors seemed canned. I don't think it's a good quality meal.

We turned up without a reservation (indeed, the restaurant was maybe 20% full) and were immediately welcomed and shown to a table. Service was efficient throughout. The food was nothing especially exciting – fairly standard Asian restaurant fare – but it was tasty and nicely presented. The wine was decent if a little pricey and was a good accompaniment to the food.

Takeout order for hotel room was quick, efficient and good food. Service was courteous and friendly. Would recommend for an alternative to sitting in a fancy restaurant.

For die-hard Thai food lovers, caveat emptor as Asia on the Parkway doesn't really deliver unfortunately. The "Thai curry" while reasonably tasty more resembled a Chinese curry course and the Tom Kha Gai soup was like no other I have tasted. Very quick to deliver though and friendly staff throughout!

The Good: We went for an early dinner on a warm spring night and no reservations were needed. The restaurant was clean, modern, had nice decorations, service was speedy (but we didn't feel rushed), and prices were reasonable. I had the steamed vegetable dumplings and they were delicious and filling! The Bad: I have no bad critique. Overall, I am a happy customer and I would eat here again.

We went for dinner two nights out of three. The food was fantastic on both occasions. There was some communication difficulties but the service was much better the second time even though it was the same waitress.

Had lunch here outside, the Singapore noodles were excellent. A really good experience I would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Windsor and this was right next door. We could smell the food from the balcony, so could not wait to try it. We had a table by the window and watched the people as they walked by on the Parkway. The wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. They served tea. My wive had Hunan chicken and I had the Peking duck. The next time we go to Philly, we will be stopping there for lunch or dinner. They also offered Thai food and I tried it for the first time and it was very good.

Very simple and basic food / beer. Relatively inexpensive. Tasty food and friendly staff. Fried rice here is worth a try.

Dined here on a Saturday night and arrived just in time (around 6:30pm) before a steady stream of customers came in; place was packed by the time we left over an hour later. Plenty of options on the menu but we settled on our old asian standbys: hot and sour soup (not spicy enough), chicken dumplings (too doughy); beef and broccoli (good and plentiful) and shrimp pad Thai (generous portion of shrimp but noodles were just ok). The food was good and satisfied our craving for asian food. Plus, I always tend to eat salty food before a race; was planing to run the Philadelphia Half Marathon the next morning. Service was a little on the slow side (I counted three servers for the entire restaurant that night) but that didn't bother us too much since we weren't in a hurry. The restaurant was also conveniently located to The Logan just a few blocks away.

I was starving..hadn't eaten all day and decided to stay in my first night in the city. I ordered from this restaurant downstairs, but even though the food was carefully prepared and bagged so neatly, I was so disappointed that there was just no flavor.

We were very surprise of the size of the restaurant. We didn't think it was that big from the inside. Very attentive service. They served us tea before we ordered. Food was very good. Do not hesitate if you feel thai.

The food there was delicious, staff responsive, all in all a very good experience for me, an exhausted business traveler at the time. Plusses - a side dish of chili oil, that let me make my dish as spicy as I liked! The food did not taste bland, like many Pad Thais do, and it was loaded with shrimp. DELISH.

My family and I stopped here for lunch on a very hot day in Philadelphia. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good and it was fun to try Sushi.

I first went to Asia on the Parkway because I was staying at the Sheraton, so it was close. There are better Asian places in Philly, but not many in the same price range. I had Tom Kha soup which was average, but the half-duck for dinner was really good. The skin was crispy, they gave me a lot of duck, and the sauce was good. It was also very reasonably priced. Good for going with a group or if you want Asian food that will be good and not break the bank.

Had the mango chicken, was delivered to our room at the Windsor. The portions were very generous (two people could easily share one meal) and the price was decent.

Consistently good food with a very nice staff. The Thai curry dishes they offer there are my favorite.

We arrived here about 1-1/2 hours before Pope Francis arrived to celebrate Mass. Our view of the Jumbotron across the Parkway was awesome from Asia's large picture windows. Service was excellent, and even in the midst of record crowds, this restaurant exceeded expectations. Spring rolls and shrimp were delicious, and we were delighted with the half chocolate fortune cookies. Thanks, Asia, for a memorable experience on the Parkway!

So ordered takeaway from here during a stay in Philly, for starters we ordered chicken wings, and ribs. Mains we ordered the Thai Curry and the Filet Migeon. The starters first wings were really crispy Ribs lovely sauce on them loads of meat on the bone. Again loads in just the starter like 1 starter enough for 2 Mains Curry was really really nice, a little hot, chicken was ok veg and sauce were very tasty Steak was again really nice cooked to perfection Both came with rice again plenty in 1 portion for 2 people Lovely clean restaurant with good food

I had dinner at this place twice. Once a take away and once a dine in. The service was good. The waiter was attentive and helpful. The cashier was kind and friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. Portions were very big and that makes it very good value for money. Most importantly, it taste like REAL Chinese food :). Will surely go back again as am here two weeks. Just a 3 minutes walk from Embassy Suites

I had the Beef and Scallops, and it was wonderful. Anything on Benjamin Franklin Pkwy is going to be a little more expensive but I couldn't stop eating until I finished the plate. I had an additional order of Shrimp fried rice and it was great with the dish I mentioned. Management and staff are friendly and helpful and we had an overall good experience. I would come back here.

We enjoyed a meal on our first night. Very tasty food and good size. In house guests were offered a discount on main meals. Service was okay. Had to add tom hotel bill, could not pay cash as we wanted.

After a long day of driving - all the way from New York City via the Jersey Shore - my wife and I decided to head to this Chinese restaurant, just a short walk from the hotel we were staying in. The food was really good along with friendly service.

My husband and I stopped into Asia on the Parkway after walking around Christmas Village at the end of November. We split the Harvest Spring Rolls which were warm and stuffed with veggies and shrimp and also the California and Eel Rolls- all the appetizers were fresh and tasty. I had a cup of the Tom Kah Vegetable Soup which was a coconut based broth with a lot of fresh vegetables: asparagus, broccoli, etc.. We also split a pot of tea. It was a perfect late lunch in a cozy and warm restaurant, calm atmosphere, perfect before a drive home to Delaware.

No one seems to sit inside. When we walked in, there was no host to greet us. There were several outside. Food was average, but price wasn't. If you want Asian food, take a trip to China town.

We were staying in the Windsor Suites on the Parkway and this restaurant was on the ground. We had Lobster (X2 for my wife) and other seafood. It was very reasonably priced and very good. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and good at what they do. We ate outside and enjoyed the passersby as we ate. I certainly would go back for more.

We happened upon this restaurant after leaving the grounds of the July 4th deliberation. I was skeptical about eating there but to my pleasant surprise, the food was excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious and we had the perfect place outside to watch the fireworks! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Chinese food while visiting Philadelphia. The service was very good as well.

we've eaten here twice in 2 years, both times staying at the Windsor Suites. It's a nice full and reasonably priced menu of Chinese and Thai food. Quiet atmosphere, and the food is served hot and tasty. We've eaten here on the late side, i.e. 9-10pm, after a full day of being out and not wanting to eat heavy stuff before bedtime. If you're staying at one of the hotels on the Ben Franklin Parkway in between City Hall and Logan Circle, this is a good choice, and if you stay at the Windsor, you get a 30% break on dinner entrees that you charge to your room.

I had Hunan Chicken and couldn't fault it. The service was fast if not super friendly, but with a 30% discount on the Entrees for hotel guests it would be churlish to complain.

quick walk from Hotel 201, lovely staff, outdoor seating, good $$, lovely t sit outside, allows quiet dogs under table!

Previous reviews caused a little trepidation, but pleasantly surprised to find them wrong. While the decor is mismatched to be classic Asian restaurant, the food was very good. Especially the Orange Peel Chicken. Not too spicy. Just right with steamed rice. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun had the right combination of rice noodles and spicy curry sauce, but was short on chicken and shrimp. The Harvest Spring Rolls were the best I have ever had. All fresh ingredients freshly made.

Walked by many times and finally gave it a try. The server we had was very good. The menu seemed to be a combination of some Thai and Chinese. Lunch specials averaged $13-19. We ordered from the regular menu. The food was just okay - nothing too tasty or anything we would want to say was really delicious. The duck had practically no flavor. Price for 3 with tip was about $110. We didn't feel the food was worth that at all. We won't be going back.

This restaurant is part of the Windsor Suites complex at the same address - there is also an Irish pub & restaurant. My wife and I found the food to be OK but no better than that and, somewhat surprisingly, the atmosphere was pretty quiet and low key despite the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles were playing at home on the night we visited and everywhere else seemed to be bursting at the seams! I had the Tom Kah soup (with chicken) and a Thai green curry while my wife had sweet and sour chicken with noodles. We had a beer each and the bill came to just $45 but that included a 20% discount because we were staying at the Windsor Suites and put the meal on our room bill.

We wanted Thai after visiting the museums and Siri listed this. It was close and convenient, right on the Parkway. The food was really great. Service was friendly and efficient (although we were there at 4:00 and business was light.) A wide selection of foods from various Asian cultures, well presented.

Simple, elegant, good price, nice ambience and location. The menu is very interesting and the portions are good.

This hotel has best Asian cuisine . We had ordered Singaporean noodles and Panang curry. Bothe the dishes were made authentic and flavorful. The patio seating is very nice . Restaurant ambiance is elegant and sober. I definitely recommend this hotel to Thai and Asian food lovers.

Ate dinner as a Windsor hotel guest. Food was fine; service a little slow, but would eat there again.

As a large group we enjoyed dinner outside under shady umbrellas. Service was great and food was soooo delicious.

Great food and plentiful portions. Excellent service and nice ambiance. Reasonably priced. Eat there whenever I'm in Philadelphia.

Staying at the Embassy Suites across the Street. Needed a late dinner. Ordered chicken pad Thai. Delicious!! Excellent service, rich flavors, delicate chicken--what a nice surprise! Chocolate mousse cake for dessert was a great way to end our meal. Bravo!

This is a very nice locale next to the Windsor hotel. The food is more or less upper-tier Asian (Thai, Chinese). The manager on duty was Taiwanese and the wait staff were mainlanders (Chinese). The food was good, but, as you can see, glistening with corn starch. Given that they are offering two national cuisines (each of which has more dishes than one restaurant can offer), the menu offerings were limited. The service was excellent. The space was on the elegant side, and very uncrowded.

good staff...but always empty! So they are not used to hospitality and never disturb you :)...boring! Food is good though...if you are a Thai fav...this is not the place! There are other places you can find within the city.

I had a quite good experience in this restaurant, the waiters were kind and quick, the food was good and most of all healthy. i ordered a thai curry with vegetables that come with steamed rice, sauces and tea, i paid about 15$.

I was a bit surprised to see an Asian restaurant as part of a hotel, but decided to give it a try. The food was quite good, service efficient, prices very reasonable.

Great cube steak in a fried bird's nest bowl of hashbrown or something I was not sure of but it was great. Went there for lunch with co-workers. Great service. Bottomless tea.

Attended a conference at the Sheraton Downtown. The hotel had limited options for food, so I wandered about until I found Asia just several blocks away. The food was good, not outstanding, and the prices were reasonable. The service was fairly slow, but everything was made to order, including the spring rolls. There was a variety of food on the menu from Chinese to Thai.

This restaurant tries to be the jack of all trades - there are Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Singapore, Indian food... on the menu. The pad thai was soggy. The dumplings were tasteless. The curry did not have enough curry. The fried rice had huge broccoli pieces and looked strange. The only thing that we found decent was the chicken satay (skewers) - the chicken was marinated well and very tender. Overall, not worth a second visit.

They had a great variety of options for the whole family -- basic sushi, dim sun, noodles, healthy chinese options. The service was very attentive. The only thing that surprised us was how empty the restaurant was at 6-7pm. Perhaps we took dinner earlier than the other site seers out and about on the 3rd. We noticed on the 4ht they were packed.

Hotel guests get 30% off after 3.00 p.m. We took take out and the food was prepared for us in no time.

Really interesting renditions of a variety of Asian dishes. I would be hard pressed to describe the dishes, but the experience was pleasant. My dining companion is a strict vegan; the wait staff were wonderful in advising her about the wide range of dishes and/or making revisions to meet her needs.

Dumplings - filling? I have no idea except it seemed spongy and tasteless. Lamb - no flavor of lamb, is it really lamb? Canned mushrooms in the soup!!! The portions are large, but not worth it.

Excellent food (both quality and presentation), staff service and very accessible. Near downtown, and public transportation.

We ate here on our first night in Philly and what a gem. Prices were very reasonable and the selection was great. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. Food was served quickly and in large portions. Everything was tasty!

We have eaten here once or twice before and chose it mostly for convenience, We were tired after traveling from NY and then lots of walking. And we were staying in the Windsor suites upstairs. (Unfortunately, we didn't know about the discount until we saw the sign as we departed the next morning.) But we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner..The Happy Family and the soft shell crab.

This restaurant was recommended by the Embassy Suites, one-half block away. We visited rather late on Veteran's Day so there were much less of the expected after business patrons. We entered the dining room with two or three other couples but they soon left leaving the place to us. The front dining room, with the bar and TV, had several patrons the entire time. We were glad to be in the dining room without the TV for the peace and quiet. The menu was very interesting. There was a wide variety of selections and you can check them ahead of time online. My wife wasn't too hungry so she had the cucumber chicken soup and spring rolls. The soup was a bit of a spicy surprise and the spring rolls had nice chunks of shrimp and chicken. I had the happy family and was quite pleased. The prices were quite reasonable. The only detraction from our visit was that when we were clearly finished eating, it was difficult to get our bill. If it had been a busy evening, would we still be waiting? All-in-all, a very nice place to try something a little different.

Service poor, drinks and dinner not much better. Cost way too much for what it was. Did not enhance our visit.

I love Thai food; however I'm a bit of a food snob when it comes to it. The food was good. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. However, the service was great. The host was super friendly and our waitress was the best. Very convenient and cozy. I would go again.

If you are looking for anything near authentic Asian cuisine, this restaurant is not for you. If you are unfamiliar with Asian food but would like to try something not too unusual, then this would be a good place to start. Consider the prime location of this restaurant. It is certainly not off the beaten track. It's right on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, near Logan Circle. Hungry people from all over the world are walking by. This restaurant tries to appeal to them all, especially those who have a general U.S. taste in food. Attention aux français: allez ailleurs. I've been to this restaurant about four times, and it is consistent. Why would I go there if I seem not to like it? We are invited there by friends who like this type of food. The food is perfectly edible, but it just doesn't taste like Chinese or Thai food. I'm sure they do it on purpose. Their customers like it that way. By the way, you don't see any Chinese families in here. Or at least I never did. They would have the sense to go to Chinatown (maybe 12 blocks away). We ordered the orange peel chicken. The menu says that it's in a spicy sauce. I honestly couldn't even detect any spice. The dish was served with about 10 hot peppers on top of it, but those peppers weren't apparently cooked with the chicken and vegetables. They were added at the end as a garnish. I bit into one, and it was very mildly spicy. Another time I I got what they call Orange Beef. This was obviously the same ingredients for their other menu choice called Filet Mignon. It really is filet mignon, of rather high quality, but sliced and in a bland Asian sauce. Now it's not just hot spice that the cook doesn't use. The other sauces (for nonspicy dishes) also lack any outstanding taste. But it's still good food. I'll probably be there again and will try some other things on the menu. I love soft shell crab. What could go wrong?

Service is quick and the portions are large. I almost always take home a doggy bag. Never had a bad meal here. Price are more than reasonable too.

I visited twice while on a business trip to Philadelphia and was very satisfied both times. The menu covers several Chinese cuisines, as well as Thai selections. I ordered beef and broccoli, Hot & Sour Soup on my first visit and Pad Thai on my second. I would order both again, as they were both expertly prepared and served piping hot. I have a serious peeve with lukewarm food and they did not disappoint. A little pricey for Chinese, but worth the extra price for a treat.

Our food was good. I had a Penang Curry dish which was very good. Our server wasn’t exactly friendly but she was attentive and the service was fast. There were lots of choices on the menu. The restaurant is connected to a hotel and has a bar area in addition to dining room seating.

The food is outstanding! Too many dishes to recommend, you won't be disappointed with what you order. The Happy Hour is fantasitc and is EVERYDAY from 4:30-6:30. Jimmy makes the BEST cocktails! This is the place to go to watch a game and mingle with fun people, Great atmosphere with rocking music, Get out your chopsticks and chop on over!!!

Conveniently located, with a wide array of Asian cuisines. We were there on a very busy weekend, and the place was mobbed, but the food and service were both excellent

We had drinks and appetizers and soup. Good quality food. Not too expensive either. Pleasant and attractive dining room.

The food is okay, nothing particularly great in what I tried (wonton soup, spring rolls, Peking duck.) Prices are decent for the location and service was fine if uninspired. I feel no compelling need to go back again but wouldn't actively avoid it, either. So just--average, I guess!

First visit to Philly, so walked around the neighborhood around my hotel and found this. Prices are incredibly reasonable especially given the location (downtown). I had shrimp and veggies, spring rolls and brown rice. It was very good but not great. Lots of shrimp, but veggies are not fresh cut. Spring rolls seemed to be freshly made. Service was EXCELLENT! nice atmosphere, and very pleasant experience.

In a town with some really spectacular restaurants and a great China Town this is average at best. I found the food to be colorful but quite bland and the fried rice had an odd taste to it almost like the vegetables were stored too long in a damp walk in cooler. The dumplings were good sized but again, bland and the accompanying sauce was didn't enhance the flavor much.

We ate in this restaurant because we were staying at the Windsor Suites and the restaurant had a notice saying there was a 20% discount on food for guests. We asked for brown rice with our meal but were told it came with white rice. The food was decidedly average - not poor but certainly nothing other than average. The bill when it came was not cheap. We left a 10% tip as we had for every other meal we'd eaten elsewhere and as we made to leave our table were brought an American Express leaflet saying 15- 20% was expected. We hadn't paid by American Express. We stumped up the extra cash and left however it left a bad taste in our mouths and we felt we'd been duped. They advertise a 20% discount on pricey food but expect a 20% tip on everything. Poor show and certainly wouldn't recommend

While staying close by, I recently stopped in for lunch and again for dinner. The service is excellent. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Lunch brought me shrimp lo mein. The portions of shrimp were impressive and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Good meal! For dinner, I had the tofu satay as an app ... delicious. And then, shrimp pad thai as the meal. Again, very good. For quick service and tasty eats, stop in and visit.

I don't think I would classify this as Asian Fusion. I would say more Chinese, Thai - not traditional Thai. We had the chicken steamed dumplings, chicken fried rice Thai style and I had the Shrimp in lobster broth. The food was good, the service excellent. I think the food is more Chinese based. The Thai fried rice seemed more Chinese than Thai (no basil) but that's okay. The dining room was nice and quiet. Many of the local restaurants are pub style and loud. So if you want an quiet dining experience. I would recommend.

My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch - I'm so glad we did! The food was amazing. I had sweet and sour chicken - yum! My husband had the shrimp lo mien - he said it was very good as well. The service was excellent. We really enjoyed it and would go back when in the area.

The service was perhaps a bit slow - but when we learned everything is made to order, it tempered my thoughts a bit. No one in our party cared for shrimp - but we got the spring rolls without it and they were awesome!

We found this restaurant just down the road from our hotel. It turned out to be the best value we experienced all week during our stay in Philadelphia. It was located on a busy corner of downtown at Benjamin Franklin and 17th St. The exterior did not obviously give away that it was a restaurant as the floor plan was a little different. The interior provided a decent ambiance, however. We were seated right away. The service was excellent during the entire evening. I got the mango chicken which I found to be outstanding. The prices were very reasonable for the location. This is a very good place if you are looking for a good deal on Thai food in the downtown area.

I enjoyed a light Thai soup with coconut milk and vegetables. It was very delicious and perfect for a vegan or if you just want to eat something light. I also had a watercress "salad." Unfortunately, they just serve you the watercress with all the stems. As you know the stems are bitter, so I had to remove them. The dressing was very light and delicious. The restaurant is very clean.

We called in here on the first night of our three night stay in Philadelphia and enjoyed the meal so much we came back on the third night too. The vegetarian meal we had was really lovely, the service quick and efficient and the price more than reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants excellent food, plenty of it, ( the portions were more than generous) for a very reasonable price.

Very authentic, fresh, flavorful. Wide selection of menu options. Courteous staff. Really liked this place, nice decor and atmosphere

Easy walk, very pleasant interior with many windows out to the street for people-watching. I enjoyed the Thai green curry. Extensive menu. Wooden tables, porcelain dinnerware and cloth napkins. Attentive service. Sorry I only found it on my last night. Would’ve been happy to go for consecutive meals.

Delicious dinner with family and friends. Wonderful service. Amazing meals! Best Asian cuisine we have had in a long time. We will most definitely be back.

Great to know there are still places to eat that offer large portions so be ready to share. Our meals were flavorful and satisfying but not impressive enough for us to want to return. Pricing may be just a tad on the high side

Food is fresh and hygienic. Ambiance is good especially over weekends and this is centrally located restro. I did ordered a couple of time from here and happy with the food quality and quantity

located on benjamin franklin parkway this is a nice location, has decent ambience and sitting arrangement inside, but do prefer to sit outside as there are couple of bars and pubs right next to it and the openess is quite good.

I came here for dinner while staying at the Windsor Suites. The service is reasonably attentive but with a standoffish vibe. The menu leaves a lot of details to be desired, and the servers seem to not like answering menu questions. My spring roll appetizer was the best part of the meal. It was super fresh and crisp and tasty. My entree was the crispy duck. The meal came out with a chopped up half crispy duck and white rice and a bowl of an odd hoisin sauce. The duck was really dry and had little flavor. The white rice was standard white rice. And the sauce had an off taste. I didn’t enjoy the entree at all. My advice is to go to Con Murphys instead.

Good food and portions that are plentiful. My friend had the chicken wings and there were plenty of them. I had the dumplings and they too were plentiful. Been back here several times. Good wait staff. Only reason this didn't get an excellent rating is that the owner/manager is not very friendly. Always seems to be glaring at you when you walk in or out.

I had a good quality Chinese meal at a good price. While the menu is not highly original there was a good choice.

It was pretty good Chinese food. The Lo Mein and Sweet and Sour Chicken were good. The Salmon Teriyaki was good. The Tofu Satay my boyfriend liked but I prefer a sauce with more peanut. and the Eel Roll we could have done without. But overall the delivery was quick and appreciated.

Waiters are that much "open" that they will point out if you pay less than 15% tip and demand for that. If you don't have reservations and looking for a place, you can come here for nice cheap dining. Food quality depends upon crowd.. less crowd means good food.

menu has asian and thia cuisine. portions are large. flavorful but not spicy ( may want to ask for extra spices) complimentary hot tea and fortune cookies

quiet place in the quite cornet, still in the center of town. very good food. fair pricess. I ate sweet&sour soup and wide noodles with meet. both were very good. complementary tea was served as well

There was a sign in the door stating 30% off if staying in the Windsor Suites (connecting hotel). After ordering I wasn told that was eat in only. I felt like bait and switch. Food was nothing special. Chinatown is a few blocks away and most deliver. I'd recommend that.

Stopped here for lunch a couple of weeks back and had the chicken fried rice, my coworker had the Pad Thai. Neither one of us was particularly impressed. My dish was pretty bland, and there was not enough chicken for the portion size. Don't see heading back, although I might be willing to give them a second chance.

Our group of 5 ate lunch here on a Saturday shortly after arriving at the Windsor Suites hotel. In contrast to the large crowds at some of the other restaurants nearby, there were not many people here despite our arrival in the middle of the lunch hour (12:15pm). We all agreed the food was very tasty. We ordered chicken pad thai, sweet and sour chicken, and soup; the vegan eaters in our group had tofu satay, rice, and a mixed vegetable dish. The prices were expensive, even for downtown Philadelphia, but it worked for us.

Authentic, large delicious menu, lovely staff and atmosphere, good prices, serene. Discount of 30% on entrees from next door Windsor Suites.

I was in Philly for a conference and Asia on the Parkway was recommended by the concierge at the Sheraton - it's about two blocks away from the hotel. They have a variety of asian food on the menu - thai, sushi and chinese. The service was great and the food was delicious. The flavors were pretty standard for thai food, but I was particulary impressed with how fresh their vegetables were. It's a great pick for vegetarians.

Good athmosphere, nice food with reasonable prices. Definitely better than average , so overall this is a very good place, but nothing too special.

I came here only because it was very close to my hotel and I didn't want to walk far after all day at a conference. This place didn't look that exciting, and the menu seemed just ok, but it ended up being quite good. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. The Thai curry with chicken was delicious - I don't know if everything on the menu is this perfectly cooked and seasoned, but if so, it's a real neighborhood gem!

We stayed at a hotel right next to this restaurant, so we decided to have dinner here. The food was good, and I found the price was quite reasonable. The night we had dinner, the restaurant was not too busy. The service is a bit lacking because the staff were not able to describe the dishes well, due to lack of English.

If you're feeling like Asia / Thai mid day, this is a good choice. Although they offer a typical Asia menu, this is not a typical "General Tso Chicken" place. This menu leans towards upscale Asian foods not found in the standard "Chinese Food" restaurant. And the quality of the food is upscale. The "Chow Fun Noodle" is a good choice if you're hungry, it's a big plate. The "Jumbo Shrimp & Scallop & Lemon Grass" is also nice. Although it is a bit "pricy" for Asian food, restaurants in Philadelphia tend to be "pricy" and with Asia on the Parkway you get a comfortable setting along with awesome Asian food.

I've dined here twice for business meetings and the food and atmosphere was wonderful. The wait staff was courteous and eager to accommodate our needs (a table near an outlet for my laptop). On the first visit I had the dumplings and they were light and tasty. The next visit, I tried the spring rolls (a meal in itself) and the shrimp lo mein. The portions were ample and tasted sublime! Prices are moderate and they have an outdoor area where you can sit and people watch. This restaurant is on the main concourse (Ben Franklin Parkway) for Philly's greatest attractions: Art Museum, the Barnes, Franklin Institute, Logan Square, etc.

We had few times food over here.. it was average.. not too good if someone likes spices etc.. overall location is good.. service is good.. food was average when we had..

We ate here our first night in Philadelphia because it is next door to the Windsor Suites where we stayed. I had read negative reviews but found these to be inaccurate. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I would not rate this food as gourmet, but it was tasty and well prepared. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Location right next to Windsor Suites on Ben Franklin Pkwy. What a little gem of a restaurant. They had just what we wanted and it was plentiful and so very tasty.

We ordered to take out for our dinner. It is close to our hotel so it is so convenient, about 1 block walking. The food is good. The service is friendly.

This is way upscale from your typical Chinese joint, and thus not a bad place for a business lunch or a nice dinner. The food looked great and the menu had a lot of variety, but they took it very very light on the seasoning. Safe but not as interesting as it sounded on the menu.

I have eaten here several times and it never disappoints. Service is good and the food is excellent.

We had special lo mein fried noodles which was quite good. The chicken noodle soup was rather plain and that is why the in whole it got the average mark. Nice people and atmosphere

I stopped in for a late lunch and had lo mein. It was delicious! They had a steady stream of customers despite being mid afternoon. I should tell a lot of the customers were locals who came back frequently. I would eat here again

Overall very good. Fresh food and chicken steamed dumplings are the best. Big portions .prices are ok.

I went in for happy hour with 1/2 priced appetizers that were as a full meal. There seemed to be a number of "regulars" there too.

Asia on the Parkway was in the lobby of our hotel (Windsor Suites). While the hotel was a bust the restaurant was excellent. The restaurant is not part of the hotel. Highly recommend Asia on the Parkway

Service was lovely but the food a little bland and on the safe side. This may be because it is attached to a hotel and services travelers who may need to be a little conservative in their food choices. Three of four in our group found the food bland but nicely presented.

Very serene atmosphere with good food and large portions. We really appreciated it being attached to the hotel for convenience and not having to brave the cold outside.

Had the Asian Special Lo Mein and Pork Fried Rice, very nice...service was excellent, wife had the mango chicken, will return

personally LOVED the food here. It was amazing and very good. Price was just right and portions were excellent

Nothing special. Kind of bland food. The noodles were pretty mushy. The menu is quite extensive. The atmosphere is also nothing too unique.

They made some very bland Thai food for us. Not great. Also, our waitress didn't speak much English and brought one of us the wrong order.

The night I ate here, I was very tired, didn't want to go back out again, didn't want to have to think about where I could eat or about how to get there, and so this was an appealing option. I was grateful that it was almost a part of the hotel, and I welcomed the 30% discount for hotel guests. The food was, at least to me, not outstanding, but I wasn't expecting that. A bowl of shrimp fried rice was very adequate . I wanted something sweet, but light, after that, and the somewhat odd dessert choices included cheesecake and a heavy chocolate cake, but I ended up with the lightest option, some orange sherbert. The waitress was very attentive and prompt, which I appreciated. I imagine that somewhere in Chinatown might have topped this in food quality, but it was fine, and its convenience was very important to me at that juncture. As they say, it hit the 'sweet spot' for me.

Went here for dinner one night. I had the hot and sour soup and chicken with snow peas and brown rice. The brown rice was nice and fluffy and they gave good sized portions. A table mate had the eggplant in brown sauce. It looked very tasty as well. This restaurant seems to be in a little less travelled part of town so nice and quiet. No waiting at dinner time. Would recommend if you want a quiet place to enjoy dinner and be blue to hold a conversation without shouting over loud music.

I recently had dinner at this restaurant and had Linguini with Clams. It brought me back to the late 1970's/early1980's when I was a Salesman traveling to Philadelphia eating at store front Italian Restaurants owned by a family, where Mama was in the kitchen cooking and Dad was in-front in the dining room. the atmosphere is very nice the food is very good, portions are plentiful and the service is good. This is on my list to visit again, the next time that I am in Philadelphia!

Came here by myself on a layover ordered the basil beef which was delicious and a Mai Tai which was so good I ordered another!! Most asain restaurants dont know how to prepare Mai Tai but this one was as good as the ones I get in Hawaii!! Love the buzz it gave me!!
Good food great location
Excellent service, very good food...great Happy Hour. We were staying a block away and the front desk clerk recommended this. Great choice!
