This is a go to restaurant. Asian food is the presented and crafted with flair. Great Ice tea and you have got to try the Green tea ice cream cake. It;s one of a kind.

We love this place. The veggie rolls are freshly rolled and cooked. Soup is wonderful, entrée so good and for the first time, we had the signature Green Tea Cake. So good, ice cream to die for

Fish was excellent. Asian fusion at a cost that won't make you cry.

Our favorite place to get fresh, delicious Thai/Asian food in Dallas. Consistently excellent and reasonable prices.

who'd think a strip mall cafe could have the earned following that this place does? the food is very very good.

There were three of us for dinner and hands down everyone thought it was average. It's been at least two years since I was here last. The service is still well below average. When you walk in , the people at the host desk look at you like they are confused. The restaurant had over 15 empty tables and they still made us wait. The dollar susih isn't worth $1. I would pass on it. The entrees we ordered were just ok. There was nothing special about it. My overall impression was that they have cut every corner possible and the meantime sacrificed taste abd quality. Sad. Used to be really good.

We really enjoyed our meals at Mint. The service was good and the choices allowed everyone with special dietary needs to order what they'd eat. The Mongolian beef was delicious.

There are lots of great choices on the menu. The food is reliably good and the service is fairly fast, after you wait for a table! It's always busy and most of the patrons are frequent visitors.

Was in the area and wanted to try Mint Asian. I happened to arrive at 1145, and easily got a table. As I watched, the place totally filled up. I ordered Pad Kee Mow, nice and hot. Was delivered promptly and well prepared. The waitstaff was very good, and came by to see if we needed anything else. When I left they were turning away parties of 4 and 5 because all the tables were full. Mine was a 2 place table. Mint has a nice variety of dishes. All that I saw looked very good. If you are here come and enjoy.

I'm a Dallas local and it was my night to choose the restaurant. We hadn't been to Mint for years and I wanted to try again (against my wife's wishes.) It was early 6:15 for a Friday night, and sat at the bar. The 2 bartenders were busy with takeout and our service was slow. The two happy hour appetizers spring rolls & dumplings were good. The sushi we had for dinner was a disappointment. The volcano roll was cold in temperature due to the excessive mayo on top. The shrimp tempera roll was no better than pre-made in the grocery. To top it off it took 3 times to get our check correct. Should have listened to my wife!

My wife and I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. We found it, once again, using TA reviews, and those reviews giving it high marks are quite accurate. The restaurant has a varied menu of Japanese and Thai entrées as well as a very expensive bar list. I especially like their ginger martini, being a ginger-lover. Our only regret was not dining with friends, so we could try more items. The sushi was very good as was their fried rice. We mainly dined on sushi, as they were having a special on sushi for one dollar per piece. The decor is modern and up-beat and the service was prompt and attentive. My wife and I will definitely be returning.

We just got into town from being on the road for 14+ hours, last thing we wanted was fast food. Found Asian Mint via Google and took a chance. Their online menu and service was fantastic, and the prices were great for the portions. We are big fans and hope we can find something similar back at home!

great asian fusion--make sure you try the green tea cake

Decent sushi and sashimi. $1.00 sushi deal on monday/tuesday. Curry dishes are good.

If you are looking for authentic Thai food, go somewhere else. The food here is decent, but nothing exciting and far from authentic. I had a craving for Tom Kha Ghai soup. Mint calls it coconut soup, it is is just that. Fish sauce and coconut with button mushroom and choice of shrimp or meat. No lemongrass. No real flavor except for coconut milk and saltiness from the fish sauce. The fresh spring rolls were good. The red curry was pretty bland, but Mongolian beef ok. Overall, I think this is a good place for someone who never had Asian food and want to dip their toe into something new. Very friendly staff and good service are the saving graces for the place

Asian Mint is an awesome restaurant. The food is great, the service is friendly, the atmosphere is relatively formal, and then there's the location: in a strip mall just off 75. Other than that, be sure to visit this place.

This is my favorite restaurant in town. I eat here at least 2 times per week. I have tried over half the menu. But I still come back to the pineapple cashew shrimp fried rice. No one does it better. I have never had a bad or even inconsistent meal here.

I'm Gluten free/grain free so I don't get to eat Pad Thai. Asian mint serves it without noodles! My friend has a soft shell appetizer that came with s little side salad. She said it was great! Kee Mao was the choice of another dining companion and he said it was wonderful. We were there on Thursday which is two for one bottles of wine. Awesome! It has a fresh new clean environment. Service was friendly and prompt.

I was very surprised at the nice clean atmosphere and bright decor. The food tasted fresh, hot, and just the right spice. If I didn't know better, I thought I was in a small market Café in Thailand.

Superb! This restaurant has been around for over ten years and there are now three locations. I go to the Forest location (the original) since it is nearby. It has enlarged over the years and it is attractive and immaculately clean. The food is top notch. I order everything with vegetables and tofu. The vegetables are perfectly cooked not over-done like some restaurants. Red, green and yellow curry. Spring rolls with a to-die-for peanut sauce.

Food was wonderful. Husband thought it should be spicier. Service is good. They will not seat you till your full party has arrived.

This is delicious fresh authentic Thai food. Atmosphere is chic fusion. Loved it! I will definitely come back. The Red Curry is the best along with the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. Sushi is fresh, beautiful and sooooooo good!!!

We only waited a short time for a group of 8 people. A few appetizers fed the group = sushi and soup. The pad thai was delicious- I had all shrimp for mine. The service was a bit slow as they were very, very busy. It took about 20 minutes to get our food, but that was fine as we weren't starving. The rest of our group tried the crab platter- soft shells crab with crab fried rice- extra yummy. The portions are nicely sized so we were not overstuffed. The decor is fun and bright.

Two of us called in for carry out. The meal stayed warm throughout The calamari appetizer was very good. Two entrees: green basil rice and a rice noodle entree. Both were excellent. The service was very good. Easy parking. Will return.

Asian Mint is always a great experience with very good thai food and extremely attentive service. I enjoy it for lunch or dinner.

This was the first time I had ever stood in line for lunch. I was quite surprised at the number of people standing in line in the middle of the week with no special sales or offerings by the restaurant. I can certainly see why after having a lunch there. I had their Padi Thai plate and was surprised at the amount served and also the wonderful taste. My business associate had the chicken curry and could not stop raving about the taste. The waiter tells me the restaurant crowds are the same every day and that many of the patrons eat there 3 or 4 times a week. A good find for a gem of great tasting food.

The space is a little cramped, but the food was delicious! We enjoyed everything and will absolutely be going back. I ordered the pad thai, and am a bit picky with how I like my dish. For me it was a bit sweet, but the waiter was johnny on the spot and offered some amazing hot sauce that made the dish!

Stopped in for some take-out the other day -- wow, is that a hopping' place! Packed at lunchtime. A friend across the street with a sick baby at Medical City needed a special treat, so my daughter and I went there. It was our second time -- the first time was about 6 years ago when same sweet friend had her first baby and recommended it to us as we were leaving. Anyway, the girls both had the pad Thai, and they loved it. They had shrimp. Looked yummy. I had delicious orange chicken. Very crispy, and the sauce is very light -- not heavy thick stuff you usually get. A win-win-win!

I knew this would be a Thai restaurant and was not expecting to have sushi. But they offered $1 sushi on a Tuesday night, and I made that part of my meal. The sushi was excellent, although the pieces seemed a little smaller than average (hey, still a bargain at $1). It's a small place and tables are jammed pretty closely to each other; the people at the next table were nice. The staff is very friendly. I tried the green tea I've cream cake that I've heard Dallas residents rave about. It was good, and certainly different, although it's not something I would order every time.

Their pad thai is very good as well as their chicken house fried rice. Veggie fried egg rolls are excellent. Everything is fresh - prepared per order. Decor is clean lines and "cool" colors - fresh just like the food.

This has been my to-go place for years now. the food never fails. After having tried a lot of thai places and getting disappointed, this has been the breathe of fresh air. I only wished, they had a bigger place. Their green basil fried rice is to die for.... Everytime, I'm there i order one for there and 1 togo.

We've been coming here for several years. The food is always great. The service is server dependent - some are really good and some seem like they don't want to be there. Some are really good at ignoring their guests. Some do not know how to serve food, refill drinks without reaching over someone's plate or remove dishes from the table. Does this sound like a place you would want to return to? Well fortunately for Asian Mint the food is outstanding. One can get over the quirky green decor, uncomfortable seating and the feeling you are eating in a Seinfeld episode ( "Cartwright...." ) because of the food. It took us over a year, and we did return. Same great food - same crappy service. Bottom line - try it, just don't expect good service and you will have a great meal.

If you are in the area, this is a must. Perfect for casual, but tasty Asian cuisine. Priced just right and the service is professional. Best for small group of friends to have some fresh Asian food and maybe drinks. Highly recommend the Woon Sen We had a wonderful time at Asian Mint!

I love Mint and Asian Mint- both locations have great panasian food and beverages with loads of choices and tons of gluten-free choices as well.

After an early movie, we decided to try Mint. The location and parking isn't great, and the space is pretty small, but the food was great. The service was a bit slow to start, but after taking our order, the food came out quickly. I ordered the coconut chicken soup and it was excellent (and subsequently tried to make it at home, but wasn't as successful). Mom doesn't like spicy food and ordered a chicken dish with "medium" spice and it was as it described and not too much. I could definitely come back here, but think it's a better lunch spot than dinner.

Awesome food 👌👌 must try . Reasonable, good service and decent ambiance. Great options for vegetarians

We love this place. It is our go to Thai restaurant. My wife has Celiacs and they always do a great job of Gluten Free. The plate portions are great for sharing and the spice on the curry is always well balanced. Love their coconut soup and the pad thai is my go to entree. Tried the pineapple fried rice with beef and it was very tasty. We always walk away full and with leftovers to take away when we eat here.

This was the best Asian food I ever ate. Get there early the line from lunch is long but this is a must try in Dallas. Truly a delicious work of art.

Mint is a small cafe style restaurant that turns out amazing Asian dishes with fresh ingredients. The service is great and the price is reasonable for what you are getting. I could eat here every day.

We ate here with our son. We had sushi and several Thai dishes. Everything was so fresh and tasty. I had trouble deciding on what to have, as there where several good choices.

My daughter and I love this place. The veggie scallop and shrimp stir fry is amazing. We eat there every visit to Dallas and you never dissapoint. Thank you

I have eaten at this restaurant 4-5 times in the last year and it is consistently good. Dallas traffic is horrible but I am willing to endure 30 minutes' drive to eat at this restaurant that is tucked away in a strip mall that one could so easily miss. I eat regularly in Asia and although this is certainly not at the level one would get in Asia it is nonetheless very good for Dallas. At $24 the crispy basil fish (sea bass; it is $18 for cod) is outstanding and worth the price. Crispy outside and fragrant, soft and fresh flavor inside - quite delicious. The noodle dishes and curries are all reliable. Chicken with peanut and basil is satisfying. The chicken satay is not authentic but is enjoyable. Service is good.

We stayed at a hotel about 1/2 mile from here. While sitting at the bar I casually asked another patron if they knew of good food nearby. The entire staff and bar joined the conversation, everyone telling me how great Asian Mint was. We had a luscious dinner - salmon sushi was beautiful, sushi special likewise, sea bass just right - not too flavorful, leaving room for the taste of the fish itself - and the noodles were fresh. It was so good that I ordered Larb Gai, one of my favorites, to have for breakfast the next morning - delicious! We went back again for lunch, and then for dinner. I only wish we had something this good where I live. Th ambience is also wonderfully pleasant. No sense of crowding, even though the place was packed. I could easily hear what my companion was saying. Very high recommend!

Love their fried rice!

We just went for dessert and it was so good! I ordered the double fudge brownie topped with green tea ice cream. The brownie was warm and gooey, just the way I like it!!

Nothing special.. it was OK. Just wasn't that impressed. Food just wasn't any real spectacular, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't wonderuful.

Save room for the green cake, after you enjoyed any of the yummy meals.

I eat here & the Lovers-Inwood location often. Both are terrific! Staff are professional & nice. The Forest location is larger but the food & employees at both locations are wonderful!

When in the mood for Thai, this is our local place. We've tried a couple other places and been disappointed in the food. While it's not the best Thai food I've ever had, it's usually good and hot, and the service is always good. Very glad to see green curry on the menu. Their yellow curry with chicken, sweet potato, and shallots is their best curry. The atmosphere is nice enough in a modern hangout kind of way, and they keep the restaurant clean. I might have to try more Thai around Dallas, but - after some of my other Thai experiences here, I'm more than willing to stick with this one.

My favorite Thai restaurant in the DFW. Great food, timely service, and a fair price. My husband, brother and I have enjoyed the following: -chicken pad se iew -salmon curry -yellow chicken curry -red chicken curry -beef lo mein -yellow fish in heaven sushi roll -chicken rad na -green tea ice cream cake

The food here isn't bad, but it's not very good. The favors are too unbalanced for the complexity demanded by Thai food. The red curry was strongly sweet, while the lamb Kai was quite salty. Both dishes needed other notes of flavor. If you don't like hot/spicy food, though, this is the Thai food for you. The chili on the menu doesn't really get into the food.

best pad tai in dallas

Great ambience, good service, delicious food and tasty drinks. An excellent choice if you are in a mood for Thai food or a nice dinner. This is definitely one of the best in town.

We've lived in Thailand for 3-4mos per year for past 4 years, and can honestly say the Thai Food here is outstanding. My elderly Aunt recommended this place, and that coupled with the description as Asian "Fusion", did not give me a lot of confidence the Thai food would be a stand-out. Boy, was I wrong. Not only great food, but great portions, and a good value. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

First rule: Don't let your GPS fool you. It may be numbered on N. Central but it is located on Forest Ln near the traffic signal for Medical City. We selected Asian Mint because it is located close to our condo. Upon being seated, we were greeted by a very delightful lady who was more than happy to define some of the menu items to us. We ordered unsweetened ice tea and were pleasantly surprised with their passion mint flavored tea. For appetizers we ordered the Crab Lovers Delight and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was my first time dealing with soft shell crab and I quickly learned to eat the whole thing. The appetizer was so good that I ordered the Soft Shell Crab Dinner while my wife ordered the Cashew Chicken. We now have the Asian Mint on our list for when we are in Dallas.

EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING is good at the Asian Mint. They are usually packed during the work week during lunch so come early. This vist (and most visits) we went on a double-date and, without fail, everytime we bring someone to the Asian Mint - they eat really good. Again, the food is good and pretty big portions, so be ready to share. My favorite cocktail is the mango martini! I've only gone to the one at 11617 N Central Expwy Ste 135, Dallas, TX 75243 SW corner of 75 & Forest Ln NOT Oaklawn

I pick up dinner from Asian Mint at Campbell almost every Friday night. We love the consistently fresh ingredients and lighter sauces. I especially appreciate the kindness and joy I am met with by server Don and manager Julie. Husband’s disability makes take-out dinners better for us, yet we are treated as thoughtfully as patrons who are dining in. Asian Mint has a lovely culture of care and service.

Picked up dinner, which was excellent. Two rolls, the Dallas and the Volcano. Both were very well done. Had the calamari appetizer which was lightly fried and excellent Split the green tea fried rice entree was was very good and slightly spicy and more than enough for two. The perfect ending was the flourless chocolate cake. Will continue to return.

I dined at Asian Mint primarily based on reveiws here and on other sites. I was not disappointed. The serving size is generous and the quality excellent. I had the Pad Thai and a California Roll. Both were presented beautifully, were very fresh and flavorful. Service quality was prompt, attentive and very friendly. I wish I traveled to Dallas more often to take advantage of this true gem. The price range was quite reasonable for the quality and serving size.

I stayed in Dallas for two nights and ate here for both of them. I really enjoyed the food here and will definately visit again when I am in town.

Cool place... Food is pretty good too...just don't expect the portions you get at other thai places...

Every time I find myself having to go to this area of Dallas, I try to plan it around lunch time so that I can eat at Asian Mint. Parking is a hassle during peak hours, so be forewarned. They have enlarged this restaurant since my last visit and it is much better. The bar is now in the middle with seating on either side. Colors are bright white and pleasant greens with plant-like paintings lining the walls. I have never had a bad dish here - my favorites are the Tom Kha coconut soup with chicken, the steamed veggie dumplings and the green tea ice cream cake. Service is usually nice and attentive. Very clean, delicious dishes and fair prices. I cannot wait to go dine here again!

One of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Great decor, staff and food, especially the peanut sauce for summer rolls, Pad Thai and the salads. Mango dessert, in season, is also a favorite. Wish I could eat there 2-3 times a week.

Just had lunch at this fabulous restaurant. It is ultra spotlessly clean, has well-done modern decor in white and shades of green with geometric shapes and innovative lighting and the food is exceptional. We both had pad thai and it is the best we've had in the metroplex. Our waiter was terrific too. The owners have attended to every detail and aspect of the dining experience. We'll be back soon!

Excellent food every time we have been. The spring rolls are outstanding and every entree we have tried is fantastic. A must stop location when we are in Dallas.

Have adopted Asian Mint as our go to place for Thai and sushi. The sushi is outstanding. Unfortunately only served after 5:00. Make your own or have their creative rolls. We love the volcano and Dallas rolls among others. The fresh Spring rolls with shrimp are very well done. 3-4 variations of pad Thai. Other nice entrees. A good selection of gluten free items. Happy hour after 5:00 on weekdays. Have the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Outstanding service!

I had a business lunch at the Asian Mint today and per usual (I have been MANY times) it was great! Make sure to arrive a little early to avoid the lunch rush. I picked the place and my colleague was so happy with the location and the food! We both ordered the same dish: shrimp and chicken basil, spicy with brown rice. Yum! This is one of my "go to" dishes. It wasn't as spicy as I like it but it was still extremely flavorful. I have never been to this location for dinner, I usually go to their sister restaurant on Oak Lawn. The food at this location is slightly better than the Oak Lawn location. My other favorite dish is the Pad Kee Mow Woon Sen.

I read through several reviews, and honestly cannot understand why anyone would give less than 5 stars . I'm not a fan of thai, normally, but you have changed my mind. We came because we were given a gift card, and it has made us loyal customers for now on. Cant wait to try another dish!. I had teriyaki chicken and my husband green basil fried rice with chicken. Tulip dumplings as an appetizer and sticky rice with coconut custard for desert . Oh my god it was heaven !

This is a very good, fun, trendy Asian restaurant. We have been over ten times, and the dishes are always delicious - never a bad experience. The pad thai is yummy, and the Kua Kai is our favorite. Also, their menu denotes all items that can be made gluten free. These include even dishes with soy sauce as a base sauce! Monday and Tuesday nights are $1 sushi night and the sushi is great. They have a full bar with fun, Asian-inspired drinks, but I usually get wine here because it is very good. As for dessert, they have an award-winning green tea cake that is worthy of its praise. My husband likes the Orange cake. Only issue is getting a seat on a busy night - the restaurant is very small. Waits are usually about 30 minutes, but can be an hour. Just call ahead and check, avoid 7-8pm on weekend nights, or get a drink at the bar, and you should be fine.

Asian mint is one of those rare neighborhood place that has great food and is always consistant

This place is amazing. From the outside, it looks like any one of a hundred small, asian carry out spots. Inside, the place is spotless. The menu is extensive with a number of meatless options and the service couldn't have been better. Even the restrooms are surprising. Eat in or carry out, I can't imagine anyone being less than happy.

Word on the street is right! This place has great food and is very reasonably priced. I ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp and had just a big enough serving to fill me up and have some leftovers for later. Very fresh and great flavor! The place is pretty small inside but has a neat atmosphere. Service is good as well.

Very good food for an excellent price. I never thought I could eat so well at an affordable price in the US. I liked it so much that I came home wanting to learn how to make all the recipes. Well served dish and very well tempered

Place is a little congested, but the food is awesome. The service was prompt and friendly. Good options for vegetarians.

There is a 3:00 to 5:00 happy hour which is nicely done. We did egg rolls and spring rolls, a glass of wine and sake for around $20.00. the service was excellent with a very polite staff. Will return again very soon.

My daughter and I were in Dallas visiting family - both of us are huge Thai food fans. They recommended we all go out for dinner one night for Thai and spoke very highly of the Asian Mint restaurant. They were right! The pho was especially pleasant and they adjusted the heat according to personal taste. My daughter ordered a rice plate with chicken and vegetables which was so stunningly colorful I think she instagramed a picture to her friends back on the East coast. Not in Texas often - but if we do come back would definitely go back to this restaurant.

So, this is not a fancy place. It is in a strip shopping center, after all. The food is fantastic. We ordered the Thai beef salad as an appetizer. It was extra special in part due to the fresh selection of mixed baby greens, including rocket, arugula and frisee, instead of iceberg or romaine. The beef was flavorful and chewy. There was a nice crunch provided by the cucumbers and scallions. The dressing was a great rendition of Thai chili dressing. I ordered the green curry with pork. Brown rice is an option here so I ordered that as well. The curry was served in a bowl so that all of the delicious sauce could be contained. The brown rice was served separately. Loved the presentation because I could eat as little of the brown rice as I liked. It was a delicious balance of sweet (coconut milk), savory (curry), tart (hint of lime) and herbal (basil). It was delicious. My husband asked if they could make Singapore fried rice. The server informed his that it should be made with yellow curry. He also ordered the brown rice option. He said that what he got was not Singapore fried rice, but yellow curry fried rice with pork and shrimp --- and it was great. According to Ian, the curry was better than Singapore fried rice; the meat was not as fancy. We were too full to order to dessert. Maybe next time.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant, so much so the I took a cooking class from Nikky! (owner and chef) Whether eating in or taking-out the service here is great. Nikky has won local and national awards of excellence for several years and you will understand why when you stop by. Earlier this year they expanded the restaurant and I'm so glad because it makes more room and less wait time when you come in. If you know anything about Thai cuisine, then you know they are experts in the fusion of the 4 S's of flavor profiles - sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. I've never been disappointed in anything I've ordered, but some of my favorites are Fresh Summer Rolls, Chicken Satay, Fried Calamari, Thai Coconut Soup and Spicy Tom Yum Soup, Asian Noodle Salad, Red Curry, and Pad Wood Sen with Shrimp - whew, now I'm ready to go have lunch!

Asian Mint is a unique restaurant. They have a lot of fresh, healthy and quick meal options! The spring rolls were amazing! Great portions and fantastic service. Highly recommended for lunch or business meetings.

The food was amazing, and the service was great. The Chicken Fried Rice I had was sooo good, as was the Mango Mandarin Chicken. I would go back without question next time I'm in town.

Loved this place! Very brightly decorated with a clean, casual look! The food was wonderful and very reasonably priced!

Nice trendy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food is delicious!! I would highly recommend the beef salad and the green curry! They were very busy on a Tuesday night. Can't imagine how it'd be like on the weekends! Definitely will return when I'm back in the Dallas area!

Asia Mint is one of my go to locations for Thai food. Most of the time the food is well prepared but I have had some inconsistencies such as too little meat or sauce on several of the noodle dishes. It is very convenient to place an online order and walk right in and pick it up even during the lunch rush. However, as the lunch prices creep up, Asia Mint is becoming less of a value especially since Noodle Wave a few miles away serves slightly better Thai food.

I've eaten here more than a dozen times and the food is awesome. I'm a big fan of their stir fried vegetables, chicken and tofu. The sauce is unbelievable and the menu is about as healthy as I've seen at a sit down restaurant. The place is always packed but it is more than worth the wait.

Friday night at 9PM and it is still pretty busy. Really good Thai beer, go with the Singha. The Red Curry with Chicken was excellent definitely recommend it. The Pad Thai was OK but only average. We tried the Mint Platter which had 3 items, chicken satay was good, the chicken summer rolls were boring, and veggie egg rolls were OK. If not for the excellent Red Curry dish this would be a 3 star rating. The service was a attentive and good.

Yellow Curry & Pad Thai were great! The place has a fun modern motif.

Yummy. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Good service. they are expanding the forest location...yea!

We went for dinner and ordered red and green Thai chicken curries (medium spice) with rice. The red curry turned out to be sweeter than expected (had to add some spice to make it better) while the green was great. Rice portions are a little small and we needed to order extra. Enjoyed the service which is excellent and deserves to be mentioned.

After getting an reccomendation to visit the place from a colleague, I was not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was better! A wholesome experience, service, food and all! :)

The food at Asian Mint is delicious. The location off of I-75, though, could use some work on it's atmosphere. They pack you in like sardines, literally. During the rush hour of lunch and dinner, you literally have someone's rear end sticking in your face to get in/out of your table. I will say this, though, the food is absolutely delicious, and the service has always been outstanding. Despite the lack of atmosphere, I would still recommend it to anyone.

We have gone to Mint on and off for years since it is in our neighborhood. They have become increasingly pretentious. 2 visits ago, we had a waitress that was unfriendly, slow and unpleasant. Recently there and they have renovated the inside and added more seating. It was early evening, and only a few tables were occupied, yet we were escorted to the back next to the bathroom. I said to the hostess, "I don't want to sit next to the bathroom"--and she proceeded to assure me it was a nice bathroom, down the hall, etc. I said a 2nd time I did not want to sit next to the bathroom entrance and she just smiled and made us sit there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it had been packed with a few tables open, I could understand, but not when most of the place is empty. The food is ok, but portion size has decreased and prices increased. Had rude customer service twice in a row. They better watch out, because other Asian restaurants are on the rise and may just leave this place in a skeezy strip mall in the dust.

The food here is outstanding! The Mint in Uptown is the same Mint. Don't really know why they ended up in this strip mall, but I'm glad they did. There are so many items on this menu, you will need to return time and time again. We had the red curry. It was fantastic. We also had the pad thai woon sen. It was good, but needed more spice for my taste. We did not try the sushi, but will next time.

I went with friends and we had 2 apps, three entrees, and three desserts. The apps and desserts stood out to me. I do not recommend the beef dishes, but their pad Thai was good. The chicken satay was amazing! Service was great too

Don't be deceived by the strip mall location, this place is fantastic. Start with a yummy green tea martini. The fresh spring rolls are healthy and tasty. Sushi is always fresh. If you like pad Thai they have three kinds, with two being low carb. The soups are flavorful and wonderful. I love the curries. We almost always take home leftovers because the portions are large.

Quick service, and great sushi! Wait staff very nice and helpful. I would definitely go there again as it was pretty convenient to get to from my hotel.

It seems really unlike Asian Mint for them to have any surly employees, but they do. The guy manning the phone for to go orders on Saturday night May 21 was rude. Put him in the back, not with customers.

We had a group of 8. We ordered 5 entrees to pass around and share. We found the food so good that we ordered additional entrees. The service was excellent.

We were in town and friends suggested we try this place. THANK YOU! It has a great menu of what they call Asian fusion including sushi, Thai and other pacific rim specialties. The price is excellent, especially given the quality and service. As good as the dinner is, be sure to save room for a dessert. The full name is Asian Mint Cafe & Dessert Bar. They were wonderful. We will be back the next time we’re in town.

I've hit this spot a few times and always leave impressed. It's in a small strip mall, so it's not the most inviting place, but the food is well worth it. They do have a few tables on the sidewalk outside, but in Dallas who wants to sit outside? Fairly priced menu and great food.

The restaurant is more upscale than the strip mall it is located in would suggest and the food and service were very good. I had their Massaman Curry which I found to be quite unique. It had roasted squash instead of potatoes and a unique spice blend. It was very good, but I think I prefer the more traditional spices. The rice portion was small, but my waiter offered to bring more without me asking. There is table seating, and there is also seating at the bar.

A good overall menu though we concentrated on the sushi rolls. The Dallas and the Alaska rolls were excellent and fresh. The same for the shrimp spring roll appetizer...... fresh with a great taste. Finally, have the flourless chocolate cake. A great ending. Outstanding service.

This was one of the best Thai restaurants that I have been to!!! Service and food was great!!! We will definitely be back the next time we are In Dallas.

If you want to be crowded into a small 6x6 waiting area with a bunch of snobby Dallas 40 somethings who look you up and down while you wait thirty minutes to eat in a trendy "Thai" food place the size of a Subway Sandwitch shop go here. There is a stuffy 40+ lady working the door and if you are not her type of person don't expect to be seated. This place is not really about the food or the atmosphere - its just about being able to tell your friends over a glass of cordial at the next dinner party that you "slummed it" and ate Thai food with the commoners. Speaking of the food, I'm not sure you can even call it Thai food. I did not see any Thai people in the establishment: the wait staff was predominantly Chinese and the cooks were from mexico. For the most part there is really no flare, decorative or otherwise: the menu offers a few bland choices with no real exciting options that might make you and your mouth say 'wow!' or 'exotic!' And the seats are hard, egg shaped and uncomfortable. If you like Thai food - go to a real Thai restraunt.

The service was great, but the wait times were long and the food was just ok. It was an eclectic, modetn feel, although it was in a strip center. It is small, with a wide menu. Perhaps some of the other dishes were really good, but I was not all that impressed with the different things I got. They were ok, but not great.

Such a disappointment when great food is coupled with mindless service. Soft Shell Crab with Spicy Mayo is an incredible appetizer...amongst the best and most creative I've ever had! Steamed Veggie Dumplings are light and delicious. Basil Mojito is creative and refreshing. Pad See Lew entree maintains a perfect combo of ingredients and spices...truly great!

Cute little place -- food smells great, but don't be fooled by the dollar sushi special. It isn't really their regular sushi on special; it is a tiny little piece of sushi. Very disappointing; thought I was coming in for a deal and left feeling gypped... and hungry...

Very close to my apartment and Medical City off of 75. Had the pad see ew and crab fried rice, both were really good! You could see and taste the crab in the fried rice, they didn't skimp. Good prices, friendly service, interesting atmosphere. Better for groups than for a date night.

Went to the new Lover’s Lane location. The food was great. The flavors were spot on and the portions were generous. The pad Thai was super flavorful, as were the flat noodles. The spicy green curry fried rice was also great. The orange chicken was spectacular. My kids loved the sticky rice pudding with matcha ice cream.

First time I have been to the restaurant and I will go back, food very good, staff friendly and helpful

Nice atmosphere. I ate at the bar and watched TV. Service was good. The main meal was ok , but the Mango cheesecake was the best, if not in the top three I’ve had.

I really loved the food here. The Tom Ka soup was divine! The food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. Service is great and the decor is also very crisp and clean. One of the best Thai places around!

I'd been thirsting for sushi while in Dallas, and when I searched for 'best sushi' this was the restaurant that popped up. We decided to give it a try, and imagine my surprise when it also offered a lovely Thai and Chinese menu too! The restaurant has an adorable atmosphere, and though there aren't reservations you can ask to be added to 'the list.' My experience with excellent sushi and EQUALLY excellent Thai (a cuisine I'm very picky about) led us to actually return to this restaurant twice during my four-day stay. Sadly, they do not offer sushi on Sundays, or I would have eaten that again, but I cannot begrudge the amazing Red Curry I had instead or the lovely vegetarian appetizers! It is so wonderful to see those being offered, since that can be difficult to find. I'd definitely eat here again!

The food was amazing and great service. The servers were great and the host Adrian was very welcoming and making sure everyone was okay. I can’t wait to go back!!

You must have the crab fried rice, it is the go to item that brings people from all over the metroplex. I have tried other items as well & have yet to be disappointed, the pad Thai is very good for the not so adventurous! The shop is small but has a trendy vibe, mostly white interior, with funky colors/accessories.

Asian Mint and its sister restaurant The Mint (in Oaklawn) are my go-to restaurants for Thai food. They offer Pad Thai with several different noodle options and although the menu doesn't mention it, you can request this dish extra spicy.

The only things stuck up at the Asian Mint are those pretentious surburbanites from Collin County who travel down to work in Dallas. We may not have the fancy new homes and neighborhoods, however, we make up for it with fine dining, shopping, and outdoor activies. Please stay up in Collin county with your small yards, no trees, bad traffic, limited jobs, and record number of foreclosure homes. Asian Mint is a great place to eat!

Loved this place for lunch. Great food and service. It was all very fresh and appealing. They have excellent tea as well. Definitely will go back.

This is consistently excellent Thai food, my favorite in Dallas. Excellence across raw and cooked entrees and curries.

Although this place is in a strip center and not that visible don't let that fool you. It is a quait place with modern looks. The staff is friendly and the service is good. But the Food is why you go to a restaurant and it is Terrific. The Yum soup is Yummy one of my favorite soups in town. All the fried rice dishes area excellent and worthy of splitting. The Fish dishes are wonderful whether fired or steamed. Plus they have full bar and nice desert menu. Try the coconut icecream with sticky rice! Never had a bad item at this place in over a dozen visits. Good at lunch and good at dinner. 2 thumbs up!

Have visited this restaurant three times in the last month, twice at dinner time, once at lunch time. At all times, the place was packed with people waiting as well as picking up take out. All three times, the staff was very courteous and polite, saying that the wait should not be too long. The wait staff was also very courteous and efficient. The first time, we had a Dallas Roll that was delicious. As one of remarked, "this could easily have been dinner" . It was fresh, very attractively presented, and tasted very nice. The second dinner, I again ordered the Dallas Roll as an appetizer and my friend also enjoyed it as much as I did. We then had the Green Curry because he likes spicier food. It wasn't very spicy/hot, but he was satisfied by the bit of heat. Each time, we comments on how fresh the food was. The most recent visit was at lunchtime and again the place was packed. My friend came about 15 minutes later so I had to wait, but more than once the staff asked if my party was complete and told that as soon as we were all present, they would seat us and they did. I had the pad thai and my friend had a curry with chicken. Both of us really enjoyed our food. It was clearly just prepared to order and was flavorful. No Dallas roll at lunch time -- sadly. I'll go back again. This is a really nice Thai restaurant with a light bright decor, a very service oriented staff and tastefully prepared and served good Thai food.

We went to Asian Mint while traveling through Dallas and seeing the extremely high online ratings it receives. It was fine -- the service was very good, but the food was only "okay:" nothing great, and hardly what I would call authentic Thai food. The taste was generic and the spice level low. Call the whole thing "safe but not very interesting."

We ate at Asian Mint Fusion Cafe and Dessert Bar at 75th and Forest with a party of 7. Everyone said their meals were excellent. I had the Cashew Chicken and my wife had the Yellow Curry. Both were delicious. The restaurant was lively and the staff friendly. It was a bit loud for conversations at a large table, but everyone had a good time.

First time here. Food was really really delicious! Very salty but good. I had the shrimp and minced chicken basil stir fry with brown rice. I gave 3 stars due to portion size. The portion size is really really small for $11. Not sure if I'll be back but food was tasty... Restaurant was very clean and modern. Staff is very nice as well

My husband and I have been going to Asain Mint for years. One Saturday, we decided to take the kids and give it a try. Both kids were not happy that we were not going to a place where they couldn't get chicken strips! We ordered basil fried rice for my son and my daughter and I shared the pad thai. They loved it! Not it is a much asked for restaurant. Go on a nice day and sit outside that way the kids be noisy and have the wiggles and not bother anyone. Enjoy!

This place is clean and has a pleasant decor. The food is good overall. The chicken satay I had was undercooked and tasteless. The peanut sauce was "weak". The crispy pad Thai was delicious. Service is friendly.

The assortment of pad thai dishes, curries, seafood, and other modernized Thai noodle dishes is worth coming back to again and again for lunch or dinner. I have been once for dinner and many times for lunch, and I leave feeling glad that I came there every time. My favorites are the spicy tuna crisp, seaweed salad, and the pad thai with crab meat.

We started with the Crispy Tune Crisp which was fair, and the Shrimp Rangoon which was excellent. The Pad Thai No Sen was just average. Service was great.

Excellent Thai & Asian restaurant in contemporary setting. Location is small & cozy, prices are reasonable. Enough parking even during rush hour. Many gluten-free options.

I have been dining here for years. Not as much now I moved out of the area. The food is great. A real gem. Try the soups or pad tai the soft shell crab is a good choose. I have never had a bad meal.

Food can only takea restaurant so far. Their staff is so poorly trained and comprehends so little english THAT THEY CAN RUIN ANY MEAL. I have spoken to the manager several times to no avail. Dont waste your money.

Food was ok. It was nothing out of the ordinary. I mean I would recommend it has a legit Asian food.

I and my girlfriend just went to have lunch at Asian Mint because my American friend recommended me as it's Thai restaurant and I am Thai. When I walked in the restaurant, it's very small inside and there were all American customers. The host showed a little bit bad attitude against us and completely ignored us. We waited for almost 5 minutes, the host came back and told us to wait to be seated. I waited about 10 minutes more and saw that there were several tables available but the host didn't call us. The host was talking to the customers and didn't care if we were waiting. So, we waited about 15 minutes to get the table. After we were seated, the waitress quickly came to ask for drinks with no smile and we told her our drinks. She quickly came back with drinks and asked for orders. We told her our orders and I asked her if she is Thai. She looked at me and nodded with no smile and walked away with bad attitude. I asked my girlfriend what was eating her or if I said something wrong. My girlfriend said the waitress seemed mad to be asked like that. I never talked to this waitress again and she talked to my girlfriend only. The foods tasted so so, not bad but quite expensive compared to other Thai restaurants with better taste and a little bit cheaper. I have been eating out at several Thai restaurants and Asian Mint is the second one that got bad attitude like this in the past 7 years. The first one is also small restaurant and the taste is worst than Asian Mint. I ordered Pad Thai for $11 with chicken. If you want to eat shrimp, it's $3 more. So, if you are Thai or Asian, I would not recommend this restaurant. They got bad attitude. Asian Mint is for American customers. I will never ever go back there again, completely nightmare to me. I will tell all of my friend about this. I don't want them to waste money with unpleasant services.

My wife & I & 2 friends of ours had a nice dinner here. We also went on our own a month ago. The service is quick & friendly. Dallas is full of Thai restaurants, but of varying quality, and many could be managed so much better. Asian Mint has done darn well by offering a real good & varied drink selection, and sushi dishes as well. Every food item we ordered was fine but none was memorable, with the exception of the "shrimp & chicken basil" - definitely order that dish! The curries & the noodle dishes were medium tasty - not at the same high level as most of the competition. BTW, these folks do a brisk take out business.

When I lived in Dallas, I discovered this place when they were handing out free passes to an advanced screening of a movie I wanted to see. I took home one of their menus, and didn't think of it again for a while. I had so far been disappointed with the sushi in Dallas, so when I came across their menu again, I decided to try them out. It was a fortuitous move on my part: their offerings were fresh and delicious and everything sushi should be. Asian Mint became my go-to place for Friday nights after work, where I could get a Mango Martini and a Spider Roll. They also offer a variety of pad thai, soups and other appetizers that are simply amazing. If I ever get back to the Dallas area, this will be the first stop on my visit!

The food could be hotter, but the flavor is great, the design is fresh, and the desserts are brilliant.

The food here is great! I had the Pad Thai No Sen - which is Pad Thai without noodles. It was delicious!!! Extremely flavorful with shrimp & chicken (I requested no tofu), broccoli, green onion, bean sprouts, bok choy, egg, and topped with peanuts. I got the in house made tamarind sauce on the side. Everything was great - from the presentation to every bite of the food.

My husband and I have been to AM several times w/o our kids (7yr and 5 yr) and we decided it was time for them to try new things. We went early one weeknight and ordered a couple of HH specials (Edamame and Fried veggie rolls). Both were so so good! Kids enjoy the edamame more than the fried veggie rolls and I loved the fried veggie rolls and didn't mind eating almost all of them. My kids enjoyed the steamed noodles and the chicken satay. I loved the chicken satay with peanut sauce. My husband ordered the curry and I had the cashew shrimp fried rice which we both ate it up. The servings are definitely large enough for sharing or taking leftovers home. We will definitely go again and I'm so glad we took the kids instead of going to a different restaurant to please them.

we had a party of 18 (large family) it was easter and they were open for lunch! They were amazing! quick service, friendly staff, and great food! The kids enjoyed it as well as the adults!

My go-to lunch place when I am in the area. Get there early or you may have a wait! Small, clean interior with splashes of white and lime green. Very attentive and numerous wait-staff. Favorite dishes include the spring rolls and the best veggie dumplings that I have ever eaten. Don't forget to leave room for their green tea ice cream cake for dessert - words cannot describe how delicious this specialty is!

Best fried rice I have ever eaten. Order the house friend rice with chicken and you won't be disappointed! Everything there is good but this is my fav

I had heard Asian Mint had Dallas's best Pad Thai so I had to find out for myself. I must say it was pretty good but I still think Mango's is the best Dallas has to offer. One thing that was interesting about Asian Mint is that it said it was also a Dessert Bar....after ordering dessert (& looking at the options for this supposed "Dessert Bar") I think it's a BIG stretch to say they have anything more than a few normal desserts.

I have to admit that I am a sucker for curry, I eat it everywhere I go, if I see it on the menu. Asian Mint has by far the best Red Curry, I have every tasted. Even better than I make it at home. I was a little skeptical when I first went here, because usually the better Asian restaurants aren't in upscale neighborhoods, but I was really surprised. Their prices are very reasonable the restaurant is very clean and well lit. The service was very good and the staff was very well groomed and pleasant. I will go back here often to satisfy my addiction!

My favorite dish at Thai restaurants has always been Massaman curry but here they make it with kobacha squash instead of the traditional white potatoes and it made a world of difference!! Six of us dined with them on Tuesday night and not only was the service spot on but everyone was raving about the food and desserts as we walked out!

this place is truly amazing! im doing biz several times a year and tried quite a few places in n. e. dallas. bbq is okay , there is a nice cajun, but this beats them all. its thai, but gooood thai. i really like their volcano, scallop n shrip over a california and brkiled. also tom car soup awesome. pricing is really good for quality. try the volcanl, below!

This is our go-to restaurant in Dallas. The ingredients are always fresh, the flavors subtle and the presentation beautiful. The service is personal and efficient. Especially nice is that the staff remembers you from visit to visit. One of our favorites is the coconut soup with shrimp.

The food was great w fresh ingredients. The service was friendly and quick. The staff was kind to our kids, giving them the "training" chopsticks, etc.

Met some friends who live in the area for dinner at Asia Mint. It is clearly a popular little neighborhood restaurant located in a little strip mall. We had to wait about 15 minutes and there were parties waiting for a table after we had a leisurely dinner, but don't let that dissuade you. The flavors are delightful.

I have family here in Dallas and they swear by this restaurant they love it and frequent it. I did love their food and I would recommend this restaurant based on the food alone. However, the service was horrendous. The waitress came up to our table with an attitude from the very beginning. She didn't like that we complained about it being so cold. She then brought the wrong egg rolls and didn't like that we sent them back. Then the food took forever to arrive to our table.

Been coming here for years due to close proximity to work. I wish I could give it 10 stars. The food is super fresh and taste is just unbelievable. Service is fast and deserts are prepared daily and outstanding Don’t even miss out. It’s a must do!! They are famous for Pad Kee Mow!! I love the Lo Mein and edamame appetizer!!! 😋😋

Have been here several times--small restaurant can sometimes be crowded. $2 sushi (limited menu) on Tuesday nights. Excellent Thai standards as well as very good sushi. Full bar with creative bartenders. Very friendly staff. Looks very unimpressive from the outside. Sister restaurant (Mint) in Oaklawn area also very good.

I eat hear almost once a week. Seriously love Asian Mint! My favorite is the cashew chicken, but all the dishes I've had are super fresh and amazing! I have celiac and they do a great job catering to my gluten free needs. Even have g-free soy sauce and do g-free sushi!

Love this place. They remodeled last year and it looks great. Do not let the strip center fool you. Love the pad Thai, and pad kee mow. One of my favorite Asian restaurants in DFW.

Worst experience of all time. We ordered a dish to come before the meal. It arrived afterwards and was the wrong dish. No big deal, right? Well then within earshot the server talked to the manger about charging me for the wrong order and the corrected one. I was greatly insulted and will never return.

Just did a carry out for two. The calamari appetizer was very good. As to entrees, the Pad Kee Mow Woon Sen was excellent. Great noodles. The orange chicken was good, although the chicken was a bit too fried. Great, on-time and pleasant service.

smallish place in strip mall, classy, modern decor, lovely food presentation. great business lunch casual place , menu of thai and japanese specialties...... very good.....brown rice and lots of veggie options available. good sushi also........... great friendly waitstaff. Easily accomodated our party of 9.......

Cale to get some fresh rolls to go . They were speedy and shrimp rolls very fresh. Had never been here before and will return to have lunch or dinner. The decor is very modern and fresh.

I asked about the curry and our waitress brought me a sample of all 5 curry sauces. I loved the red curry sauce with spiciness added to the yummy coconut milk flavor. My husband had pad Thai and that was also good, but the red curry was definitely my favorite!
Food is better than its location
Asian Mint is situated in a strip mall at a busy intersection, across from a hospital. Its neighbors are a boxing gym and Boston Market. However, it's not a store-front diner or Asian fast food, which one could surmise from it's location. Delicious food, fast service, generous portions. Everyone seemed to know the servers by name, it had a very neighborhood/"Cheers" feel to it. I will be back!
