The rooftop was a great spot for drinks! I was celebrating my sisters birthday and this was a great location! The vibe was perfect.

I like the roped off elevator line and eye candy check in girl. Made me feel like I was in Miami! Nice touch having a greeter as I exit the elevator on the 9th floor. Perfect view of Logan Square and the Art Museum. We found seats right away and settled in. Then waited. And waited. And waited. The couple across from us asked for their bill. We sat with our drink menus open. Nothing. The couple gets their bill. Us, nothing. The couple pays their bill. Us, nothing... Finally when the server returns to clear the other couple's glassware, who have now left, she asks, "Are you two doing ok?" No, we are not ok, we need a drink. At this point I am annoyed and order two Old Cubans instead of a bottle of the vintage champagne that looked good 15 minutes ago. The drinks are spot on and worth $20 a piece. They would be $32 in Miami, so I consider it a bargin. The music is BPM/House. Exactly what I would like it to be, but it seems to be stuck on Skrillex Radio or something. It didn't fit the crowd that was up there. Not everyone over 40 likes to hear Skrillex for 30 minutes (even if I do!) Suggestions: Keep the ropes, eye candy, and muscle downstairs. Keep the greeter upstairs, but have her engage people when they step off the elevator. Offer your tables up, pitch some bubbly, or at least give people the lay of the land. Get your music aligned with the crowd. No, I don't want to hear Frank when I am up there, but there are several nuances of house music that your DJs can provide you tapes to tone it down during the week. You will keep people up there longer and get two or three rounds out of them. Most important! Servers need to greet every guest as soon as they arrive. Sell your champagne list, sell your cocktails. You are missing out on some serious revenue. No bottled water? I pay $6 a bottle for that in MIA. Easy money. I look forward to returning later this fall and on a weekend to see how the place is progressing. Bottom line: Go up there. It is cool. Spends some dough, don't be cheap. The view is worth it!

Hosted a welcome party for a wedding in April. Beautiful space overlooking the fountain. Staff was helpful and food and drinks were amazing. Cannot say enough good things about the Assembly rooftop

Quite excited to take in the view. Several friends decided to visit on a Friday night after 10 pm, to get some air, check out the view, have a cocktail and relax. Since I was meeting the girls there, I ordered a vodka w/cranberry. It was beet red and quite sweet. I sent it back and it was returned with a message from the barista, "The next time, it's a double!" Wow! You never send that type of message to the client. Accept the comment and do better next round. At $15 for a basic cocktail, it should be crisp and correct. With that, I started a tab. When the other gals showed they ordered a champagne and spirit mixed drink that was being served in the lobby bar. At Assembly, it was said to be likened to drinking lemonade, twas sweet and lemony. When inquiry was made about this drink, it was stated that this specialty drink was premixed and on tap. At end of eve. I ordered tequila for all, to have a birthday toast. The bill came, and all was all on my tab. How did this happen? This was not confirmed with me. The DJ was not very accommodating to the diverse crowd in attendance. And at 1:30 a.m., he abruptly stopped playing music, packed his things and left. The atmosphere was awesome, the company was great. Believe some fine tuning is definitely in order. The wait in line to get to the top, for a poorly prepped $15 spirit and another epic cocktail fail, a failed communication concerning my tab, and finally, the "DJ" dropping the mic at the end of the night.... I dunno, perhaps will try again to see if better sensibilities prevail concerning how to deliver in an upscale service venue!

The location is hard to beat, on the roof of the Logan right on the edge of Logan Square. There's a great view of the Art Museum. The drinks were good but a little expensive and the service was very slow. I often found myself walking to the bar to get a drink because our waitress was nowhere to be found.

Very romantic. Excellent view. The menu is a light fare. Very fresh flavors from local purveyors and farms.

Assembly Rooftop is a hot local bar spot with circular fire pits that keep you warm on chilly nights. The ambiance and atmosphere is cool and charming with views of Philadelphia skyline. It's best to experience it at sunset and in the evenings!

when you up there, you could see the Museum to City Hall..!!!! The Fountain and all the roads are beautiful! I recommend to reserve the table!

Stopped by after walking to art museum to enjoy sunset and the view did not disappoint. Cocktails are pricey but I’m sure it’s the going rate at city bars. I had a crimson mule ($15.40) with mezcal, tequila and an eye dropper and spritz of some other stuff. Served in a tall glass (no copper mug). Was pretty good. Different but good. Come for a nice drink with a nice view.

Met an out of town friend here for a light meal on a Sunday evening. Had to reserve a table for 2 (!) in advance--$20 cover charge plus booking fee. We were told we could only stay 90 minutes as our table had another reservation after that. The menu was interesting, a bit eclectic, but the food was well made. Unfortunately, we were bathed the entire time in LOUD music blasted from the overhead speakers. You had to shout to be heard. If you don't bring a hand-held computer device, they have no menus to review--only a QR code you are expected to scan for yourself. The wait-staff was knowledgeable about the items on their menu and adequately diligent and attentive. Three drinks, two small plates--a hundred bucks PLUS the cover charge (see above). Not great value for the money. The view is pretty good, though.

Amazing view, good service, and delicious cocktails. Cocktails are expensive even for Philadelphia - around $20. But the view is worth it.

We held a business reception for 60ish customers at the Rooftop Lounge on their outside deck. The service and food were great. The views are top-notch. The only downside was that it was hot (high 80s) and at 5:30/6:00 pm the sun was beating down on us and the awnings covering the deck wouldn't stay extended because the wind was too high. Once the sun started to go down and the winds calmed, it was awesome. All the food was great.

Before dining downstairs at Urban Farmer, we met friends upstairs on the roof at Assembly for drinks. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. Drinks were great. Views outstanding. Highly recommend for after dinner drinks.

The rooftop has a great view. It was very crowded and there was standing room only. If you wanted a table to eat, it would have been a long wait. The drinks were good.

Located on the top of The Logan, Assembly Rooftop Lounge has awesome views! Great for cold evenings (there are outdoor fireplaces) or warm evenings. Also, great drinks! Friendly Staff!

The views are stunning. Everything else - not so much. Bartender messed up my one drink order. Servers weren't friendly. The view can only go so far if the execution suffers.

Dress for success. Drinks are pricey but the view of Center City can't be beat. We shared our spot with other couples and got to know people & chat.

I enjoyed the view the first night, but the bar and staff are subpar, very poor service. The next night, we stood in line to get in even though we had a room at the hotel, (really? is this a club in Manhattan?). So lame and this definitely canceled out the nice view. When we got to the bar it took more than 15 minutes to get two beers. Under better management, with more and better trained staff, it could be very nice.

So I arrived here after a late dinner in Rittenhouse Square it was probably 10:15pm. The line went outside of the front doors. When I arrived the people at the front of the line were saying how they've been waiting for 20 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and they were still at the front of the line. I hear the views are amazing and wanted to experience it on date night with my boyfriend but that is just ridiculous. It's a bar/ lounge not a nightclub. On top of that not once did any employees provide any updates on what was the hold up.

Your first impression will be the view especially toward the art museum. The decor is modern and the atmosphere is upbeat all night. After the view if you sit at the bar you realize these are nit your typical bartenders. These are professionals and they take pride and care in each drink they prepare. Service is very quick and they dont get much rest but still take a few moments to chat with the guests. I typically find in the older Hilton properties that the people make the experience and this was no different. You wont be disappointed.

Loved Assembly lounge - lively atmosphere with a gorgeous view of Philly. The bartenders were friendly & accomodating & the servers were on point. Liked the menu of small bites, but this is the area with the most room for improvement.

I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to get out and have a good time.Drinks were a little pricey, but the view is absolutely exceptional.

crowed bar, long wait, mealy decent view. Even as a guest of the hosting hotel have to wait in a long line.

This bar is a little small. My friends and I walked in at around 1030 on a Saturday night and there were no seats. We went outside to the roof top and the views were spectacular. Drinks are good and service is friendly.

A cool place with a great view. Showed views of the city - looking right up to the famous ‘Rocky’ steps. If the weather is food enjoy the outside terrace.

Located on the roof of the Logan hotel this bar offers great views of Logan Square. We were there on a saturday night and the place was crowded and noisy. Service was slow, though we only had late night drinks. When making a reservation on line we were charged a $10 per person "fee" which would not be applied to our bill for the privilege of making the reservation. Not sure what this fee "covers" as there was no entertainment. I would have thought that this "fee/cover charge" would have been waived for hotel guests.

This location has a beautiful happy hour large selection of drinks and nice food. The view was breathtakng . Parking was expensive and seating is tight. I would definitely put it on my list of places to view Philly from!

great bar/patio with decent food selections. gets crowded on weekend nights so go early. plenty of comfortable seating and outside fire pits

Great drinks and views. You can reserve seating for $10/person, which seemed worth it at first - but staff needs to do a better job at enforcing the reservations area - and keep people from sitting on the backs of the reserved seating, which is a bit annoying if you’ve paid for a seat. Overall, tho, a really pleasant experience - good service, good appies, and good vegan options!

We stayed at the Curio for a one night stay. Having read the great reviews about the Assembly Rooftop Bar, we decided to check it out for a drink prior to dinner. We were there on a weekday so the crowd varied from locals catching a drink after work to couples on dates. It was quite busy. The service was fairly good and the drinks pretty pricey given the venue. The options to purchase a glass of wine ($14) or beer are limited...however, if you are interested in purchasing a bottle your options are fairly vast. We would definitely visit again but would plan on ordering a bottle of wine rather than a glass.

Sooooo often rooftop lounges look great in photos but the idea of sitting up there usually turns out to be better than the actual experience. Not so here. This place has it all. We were meeting some out-of-state friends for drinks and snacks at 5:30 on an atypically warm November Friday evening and I was worried that we wouldn't find a seat, that it would be too loud and crowded, that those of us that are over 30 would feel out-of-place, that we wouldn't get service -- you know, the way rooftop bars often are in NYC! But this was different. We got a hightop table overlooking a lot of the museums and historic buildings, just before sunset. They also had several conversation clusters of furniture (some with fire pits) and of course an indoor bar. Our server was super attentive and nice and easily handled the fact that we had people coming in at three different times. We ordered a bunch of small plates. We particularly liked the Korean chicken bao buns and the Swedish meatball sliders, but really all of the food was excellent (surprising for a rooftop bar). I ended up having their Pimm's Cup cocktail which was good but I could have done without the ginger in it. Several friends had sparkling rose' and hubby had tonic. We watched the city turn to night and just had a relaxed, fun and almost magical time. This was probably the best rooftop bar visit I've ever had, and will definitely return the next time we're in town.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and checked out the lounge on night 1. Drinks were very expensive, but good. The view is great. There's lots of room, and there are couches along the outside with high-tops as well. Mellow electronic music was playing and gave it a nice atmosphere.

We ate in the middle of the afternoon and at that time the service was great. The food was not up to 4-Seasons quality (but does charge 4-Seasons prices). There is another more formal restaurant down one flight of stairs and there the food was very good and the service impeccable, On Saturday evening there was a very long line for the elevator to the Lounge. It looks like the place to see and be seen, so be prepared to dress well. And don't forget your wallet.

Stopped by here with some friends just to check it out. Our server was Grace, and she was amazing. Really attentive to everything we needed and made sure we never went without a refill. She was a delight to be around and definitely made us return more. Great smile and super bubbly.

On top of the old Four Seasons Hotel. Great views and cool vibe. The furniture kind of sucks though. The seats are basic outdoor chairs and sofas, stiff and not cozy. The food was delicious and fresh.

Spent a couple of hours here on a cool night. This place has a great vibe and a great view of the city. Service was absolutely fantastic which is impressive because the place was slammed. My drink was never empty.

We went to the Assembly for my bachelorette with about 8 girls. The entire staff, from the hostess, to the elevator attendant, to the bartenders and cocktails waitresses were SO kind and accommodating. The views from the Rooftop are absolutely amazing! I live in Philly and have never seen anything quite like it! We went at sunset and it was truly breathtaking! The lounge is very modern, clean and comfortable. I will definitely be returning!

If the weather is nice defintely give this spot a try for a great view and fun vibe. Cocktails for our group were prepared well

If you are looking for ambience and a few drinks, this is a great place. If you are hungry and looking for variety, you will be disappointed. While the rooftop deck has a few eclectic appetizers and entrees, please do not come hungry. The dining options are limited and several staples for upscale dining are missing. Even the martini selections were limited. So, great for ambience. I can see this being a good Happy Hour spot for friends but eat before you come and stick to basic drinks.

Cold drinks, great appetizers and unbelievable views. Roof top at Logan. We stayed at the Logan and found out about the rooftop bar after we had booked. Added bonus.

Best place for friends to meet for cocktails and a spectacular view of the Art Museum and Ben Franklin Parkway!

As a hotel guest, I was directed up there as my room was still "dirty", this at 5:45 pm. I had to check in with the ground floor hostess, only to be told they weren't allowing anyone up until some late reservations arrived. I was like, "WHAT", are you kidding me??? She couldn't tell me how long it would be, but took my cell and said she'd text me. About 10 minutes later I got a text and went up. The view is very nice, and the weather was wonderful. I ordered my standard Hendrick's martini - $21. THE MOST I"VE EVER BEEN CHARGED. This includes the most high end places I've visited around the world. And the wimpy 3 olives they added only added insult to injury. I'll not be back.

Location, ambience and views are superb. Drink prices are exactly what you would expect from a top end city bar and are mixed well. The front of house guy who took us up on the elevator was very friendly and welcoming. The first drinks were served efficiently and professionally, although the bar staff were icier than the drinks. I tipped 20℅, but after first round we were pretty much ignored, which is a pity, because even at those prices I would have quite happily spent a bit of cash there. I'm a first time visitor to Philly, and will remember it for being an incredibly friendly city.....with the exception of this bar. However, I would still recommend it for the experience of a well designed city terrace bar.

what a view, nice bar inside and out, great service, but on a clear day you get great views of river, museums, etc nice night spot , no food that i know of but not sure about that

Stopped by while we were staying in the hotel for a business trip and was immediately impressed by the views. While also living in Philly, I'm surprised we hadn't made our ways up here before now. Overlooking Logan Circle and really the rest of the city, this is an awesome place for a nightcap for either couples, friends, or colleagues. Drink menu was solid and there was live music as the sun set. Only complaint would be the speaker quality as it was popping and going out the whole time (expect a bit more for the reputation and quality of the hotel). But the best part was as we were leaving, we took the elevator down with Jeremy Piven who you'd swear in real life is actually Ari Gold.

Group was here to take part in a special event that occurred on Wednesday evening, June 27th at Assembly Rooftop Lounge. This modern outdoor hotspot is located atop the Logan Hotel, looking down on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Logan Square for a fantastic panoramic view of this part of Philadelphia. The event was for Quaker City Shrubs and had a great time.

Fire pits and great views. Good drinks and a must if you are staying in or near the hotel. Make sure you pick the right elevator.

In a big way. This rooftop bar is a stunner. Some of the best views in Philadelphia matched with great wine and cocktails and great ambiance, all at a price more reasonable than many other destination type bars. This place has just opened for the season and I’m not sure we would have even gotten in this past weekend without a huge wait had it not been for the fact that we were staying at the Logan. It’s obviously VERY popular. We were luck to get a couple seats at the rail and enjoyed some awesome Frosé and wine. It was fun, relaxing and beautiful.

Awesome spot for drinks, especially if you're staying at their hotel, The Logan. We went for pre-dinner drinks at 4:15 and had no trouble getting a high-top overlooking the fantastic views of the best Philadelphia has to offer. Our server, Brianna, was friendly, attentive, and charming.

We started my bachelorette party at Assembly for sunset drinks on the patio. The view is incomparable and I would go back again just for that. At $15+, the drinks were just OK—but I’ll allow because you’re paying for the view. However, the bartender was rude and miserable, and he did not even merit a $1 per drink tip. He made me embarrassed to be a Philadelphian, and I’m sorry to all the tourists who come in contact with this guy because he is not what we’re about.

We only stopped by here for a half hour but it was packed early on a Saturday night. There was already no unreserved seating at 6 PM. You grab one drink, take a few selfies with the great view, and then find a place where you can relax a little more. The clientele is very mixed on a Saturday. Some people obviously coming to be seen and others look like they just rolled out of bed. My husband says it gets a lot of business people on weekdays.

This place has amazing views of Philadelphia! The decor is lovely, and the choice of stemware, etc. exquisite. The atmosphere is super chic, as well as the prices, which would all be fine if the service was even close to chic. The service was horrible. In fact,I really thought we must have put on some sort of invisibility cloak! The waitress totally ignored our side of the banquette. I did go into the bar and was given a frosty reception there by a very "unchic" bartender, but did secure a drink at last. We left after one drink...it isn't that great.

The staff were very nice and there was no enforced dress code, which was nice because we were in shorts and flip flops. The drinks were pricey but not outrageous. Great views. Originally 4 star review. Updated review We went back again the next night, on Saturday and brought some locals that had never been there before. They said there was a wait and they would text us in less than 30mins. So we we to the lobby bar area. We then went ahead and took the elevator to assembly with out the text invite. There was PLENTY of open areas. More than the night before when there was no wait. We went and stood at a table. We tried to summon a waitress, she said that we were not in her area so she couldn't serve us. What?!? We then move to a large open couch area. Wait a total of 15 mins, still no service, so we got up and left. Before leave I made a big deal about not getting service in ear shot of 2 staff members, they seamed not to hear me. We stayed out for another 2hours and I never received the text from the wait list.

It's a tradition of ours to find a rooftop bar on our trips. Assembly was a great find. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. We hadn't planned to eat, but ended up having a light snack with our cocktails. The view was better than we thought (given the roadworks below). We arrived just before sunset, so saw the streets by daylight and with an evening glow. Drinks were reasonably priced as was the food. We enjoyed the ambience even though it was rather cold. We sat near a fire pit under a light blanket, which was provided to keep some of the chill out (the fact that it was a windy night didn't help keep the chill away as much as we would have liked!). Definitely recommend a visit to the Assembly if you are in Philly.

I was staying at the Logan Curio by Hilton, and went up to the 9th floor lounge. I just wanted a glass of pinot noir and did not disappoint. Up on that level, I was able to take a nice pciture of the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral Basillica, whic is nice to be close to if you are Catholic and want to attend Mass. I think the staff's name was Jason, but very nice and attentive. I hope to come back again.

Nice rooftop addition to the Logan Square scene. Decent cocktails, and wine list (with hotel prices) and comfortable seating. Stayed in the hotel six days and visited Assembly twice. Enjoyed it both times.

Where else can you watch NBA playoffs, capture amazing views of downtown Philly, enjoy beverage after a long day...where else but the Assembly. Felt like my own personal deck in the middle of bustling downtown. Wonderful way to conclude a busy day.

We were greeted by a very nice hostess and seated at a nice table with a view. That was the last time we saw anyone. After sitting for 14 minuets we got up and left. There was nobody around, even the hostess was gone.

Love it here! And special thanks to Sydney, the hostess, for helping us find the perfect table for 2. When we arrived the place was jumping — quite crowded. The staff could not have been more gracious. The drinks are wonderful and you really can’t beat the views. We needed a snack and the guacamole was excellent. We will come back again and again.

The view was to die for and overall had a chill atmosphere. The drinks and food were great but our waitress messed up our order twice and kept forgetting napkins each time we asked. Great for after work drink for 20-30 something’s. No dress code required but would recommend looking nice.

A great addition to the Logan Hotel is the Assembly Rooftop. Located on the 9th floor of the hotel, overlooking the Philadelphia Library, Basilica, Mormon Temple and views to the Philadelphia Art Museum. Fire pits provide some warmth during the cooler nights. Would be the "hot spot" when the weather is a little warmer.

Very cool atmosphere. Great view just north of the city center. I would definitely put this on your list. If you get there early, you can find some couches to sit on - regardless, plenty of stand up tables. Great views as well!

The bar is at the top of the Hilton by Curio Hotel & overlooks Logan Square and the Parkway. Stopped in for after dinner drinks Labor Day wknd. It was very busy and so we walked around the lounge with drinks in hand. Great views. You can only reserve the lounge sectionals for a minimum of $500 food & drink. We only wanted a few drinks but wish we could have reserved ahead of time a small, cozy table for 2. Drinks were overpriced but you are paying for the experience & View. We’d come back with a group next time.

Loved the rooftop lounge here at The Logan. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They checked our shopping bags so we didn't have to go back to the car. The waitress was one point with her fast service and wonderful app suggestions. I will definitely revisit and actually can't wait. Oh the only small peeve is there beer selection was very limited. But there champagne cocktails were yummy.

Very nice venue. The snacks, appetizers were not the best. The service was poor, but what a view!! The drinks were very watered down, the top-shelf drinks were non existent.

I came across this place as i was walking through the shopping centre. Well worth a visit if you want to get a full view of the city. At the top there is lots of things for the kids to do so highly recommend you take them along. The glass at the top is darkened which helps reflect the sunlight and doesn't ruin a photo through the glass. If you a afraid of heights, you can view Philadelphia without going too close to the edge.

I am 52. Definitely a young bunch up there and I would have loved to have been that age again. I am terrified of heights and spent my time worrying that the young people up there would jump off. Completely irrational and definitely my problem. Perhaps to be recommended by someone under 40?

Views are amazing! Great service, great selection of cocktails. Beautiful place to hang out on a summer night.

We spent two nights at the Logan while in town for a conference. The entire hotel was incredibly dog friendly (homemade dog treat at checkin) which is why we chose it. They had an extensive dog menu at urban farmer, and our food there was phenomenal as well (house made english muffin!). We got happy hour both nights at Assembly rooftop bar, and our servers Daniel and Hayley were both top notch. Can’t wait to come back, 5 stars all around

My office hosted a happy hour at Urban Farmer and a few coworkers and I decided to go up to the rooftop lounge for a quick drink to see what all the hype was about. We were pleasantly surprised to find a gorgeous space with perfect views of the Ben Franklin Parkway. The drinks were excellent and service was top notch. Definitely a nice spot for drinks with friends or before a night out on the town.

We went to this bar with friends on Friday evening. Great place to hang out get drinks and some small appetizer. Drinks were little pricy but it was really good. I had old Cuban it was very good. I also had vegetarian mezze which was out of this world. Staff was amazing so great drinks , good people and amazing place to hang out.

Wow! There’s a reason most of the reviews showcase the view - it’s awesome! The service is solid and the atmosphere is relaxing (at least it was right after work). Check this spot out!

This is a great rooftop bar with fantastic views & a big wraparound outdoor terrace with heaters & flame burners. It was particularly atmospheric being close to Christmas, as it felt really festive & cosy & full of holiday good cheer! They do the most delicious hot mulled wine style cocktails. It’s best to book as it’s a fashionable spot & gets rammed full. Service was pretty good, food unmemorable, but it’s just a really lovely setting.

Took some friends here for a birthday celebration and it was a great success! You feel like a VIP when you arrive as there is a designated elevator for Assembly. Upon arrival you will be greeted by some very friendly and welcoming hostesses who make you feel special. The views from the rooftop of the Logan Hotel are spectacular with sights of the cathedral, the Parkway and Logan fountain. There are sofas and high top tables available at will where you can order drinks and just chill while listening to the music. You can also rent cabanas for a minimum price and they can be reserved far in advance. The drinks are expensive, but in line for most upscale center city restaurants. The apps were very good and they have a good variety from which to choose.

Seems to be the kind of place where people go to be seen rather than to have fun. Absolutely fantastic view of the city, nicely laid out, but the drinks are heinously overpriced. I guess that's just part of what you have to expect with a place like this. Definitely go for the view, but don't plan on staying for more than a drink or two unless you want to drop some serious cash.

The bar and experience is great. The service could use some tightening up, after waiting 10 mins at the tops for a waitress I had to move inside to get a drink.

I was staying at The Logan and had to try the rooftop bar. It opened around 4 in the afternoon and it wasn't long until I made my way to the 9th floor. My first impression was the Assembly probably has some of the best views of the city. There were people there already and I wasn't sure if there was a seat at the bar so I found a table. I could have went outside, there were gas fireplaces out there but I'm not sure they could have kept ANYBODY warm on such a cold and windy March afternoon. There were a few brave people that took their drinks out but I noticed it wasn't long before they came inside to the warm. Even though the bartender was busy, it wasn't long before I was waited on. Look... this place is a little more trendy than what this small town boy is used to but I can adapt. I knew a Budweiser was out of line but I ordered one anyhow. Don't expect to get one here. They do have several different kinds of bottled beer and I was able to find one to my liking. If you prefer mixed drinks, they have a great selection of top shelf liquor, bourbon, rum and whiskey from which to choose. By the time I was ready for another round an attractive waitress found me and was eager to make sure I didn't go without a beer the rest of my visit. Later that night I found myself back on the rooftop. Again, the city is beautiful at night and a must see. There were all ages here but mostly a young crowd, and why not? If I had a date and wanted to impress, this would certainly be one spot I'd take her. It appeared that you can be comfortable with dressing up or wearing a nice pair of jeans. Drinks aren't cheap, but really about what I expected. I had fun and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

A group of us came to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The view is nice. But the drinks were average and overpriced. No music. And there is something wrong with the floors. They definitely put them down improperly because they felt hollow and cracks everywhere. You can bet heels got stuck in there. Better yet one broke! Not the end of the world but definitely bummed us out seeing a guest’s brand new shoes break. Could’ve broken a leg. Needs to fixed immediately.

Nice views of downtown Philly. Very large seating area and most of it is outside. We didn’t have a server come to us once in an hour, but the bar was moving pretty well.

This is a great spot for a cocktail overlooking Philadelphia city and points northwest. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun but the view is the best in the city. Drinks are on the pricey side but the wine varietals are good. They do need to find good cocktail producers for the bar

Went up there for drinks on a cool fall evening. Spectacular views.Munchies available.Full bar. Servce great.

I enjoyed my visit to this rooftop. The service was excellent, and the drinks on offer were great. I was sited outside. While I liked the place, I think it was slightly bland. There was no music playing outside, and then, the decoration was very simple. Perhaps a few palms or minimalist plants and some music would make this place more lively/interesting.

We were staying at the Logan so we ventured to the rooftop on Saturday night. The place was busy but luckily, we found a table right in the center of the rooftop with an outstanding view of the city. I can't imagine that there are many restaurants in Philly with a better view. The cocktails we ordered were delicious and so was the food, especially the Thai chicken tacos. This is a great date-night location.

The views, the drinks, the atmosphere, you name it the Assembly Rooftop has it all. Don't miss out when you stay at the Logan or are just in town visiting. A MUST.

While we stayed at this hotel, we traveled to the 9th floor for a drink and to enjoy the view from this wraparound rooftop. At night, it's a happening with a huge crowd.

My husband and I had a great respite at this rooftop bar. Service was attentive but not cloying. Enjoyed an Apersol Spritz and a glass of Verve Cliquot along with awesome potato chips topped with lemon aioli sauce.. Nice relaxing break!

Beautiful bar with decent service and outrageous drink prices. You are paying for the view. Once you know that sit back and enjoy.

Our last visit to the Logan the lounge was not open yet. The views from the roof top lounge are awesome. Service was friendly and drinks refreshing.

Stopped in for a couple drinks, clean, decent selection, good service, will return for the same. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Thank you!

We were turned away at the door for wearing nice jeans and a dress shirt! Happy to take my business elsewhere but the very young door guardians were as unfriendly as they come. Expected more service for a new place but clearly they are trying hard to keep it as a high brow venue. Avoid and find some place more people friendly!

As a resident of Philadelphia. I was astonished by the views from this rooftop. I would suggest a visit, give yourself the opportunity to truly experience an evening in and around the Parkway at night.

Philly skyline is very impressive from this rooftop club. Take a 9 flight express to enjoy the Philly skyline from City Hall to the Philadelphia Art Museum. A cosmo or an IPA will top off a great evening.

Rooftop bars are not super common so this place is pretty special! The views are great and the bartenders and drinks were also great! Love it here!

This rooftop restaurant/bar has amazing views! I'd recommend stopping in during the day and the evening. They are both magical. At night, it gets very crowded. We were lucky to get a table for two. We enjoyed our delicious cocktails and hope to visit again.

This is a great spot for drinks and something small to eat. Very nice environment and great staff. I do recommend a reservation.

As a guest of the hotel I had dinner at UrbanFarmer and thought I'd check out the rooftop bar. I was glad I knew about the guest elevator that goes up so I didn't have to wait in line with the non hotel guests. As I arrived at the bar and perused the menu I noticed the same $12 glass of wine I had at dinner was $22 here. So I thought I'd order a Maker's Mark and diet my usual. I was surprised at the $16.50 price tag as that is a few dollars higher than even the Ritz charges in Dallas. After handing my bartender a $20 bill he hands me back $3 - I should have let the .50 be his tip. I didn't stay too long because I didn't see any reason to stay it is definitely not conducive to solo visitors. I thought I would just take my drink to my room and finish it there. I was notified at the elevator that I was not allowed to leave with my glass. Very poor for a 'high end' hotel. I asked if they had a to go cup...nope sorry. The whole experience was unimpressive. I haven't found any desire to make another trip up. The view was pretty but once you've seen it...once is enough.

Ok, I make a good living and don't worry about the price of drinks very often but.... we paid over $80 for two glasses of wine, a diet coke and a beer. Other than that, the service was good, the scenery was fantastic and the atmosphere is very lively.

Arrived at the rooftop lounge at 11:00pm was welcomed downstairs in lobby by a young girl wearing isotoner black slippers working the wait list. She made it seem like the lounge was very crowded and very elite. Coming from NYC I wasn't impressed... We were put on a wait list and was told that there was a hour or so wait, we were directed to the hotel bar called The Common Bar. We were finally escorted up the lounge around 12:15am. I was expecting a bustling lounge with well dressed people having a great time. When we entered the music was very low and it was not crowded at all. Some men had on sandals and shorts looking like they were dressed for lunch for cheesesteaks. The women weren't dressed any better. Sorry for the rant but it just wasn't what I expected. If your looking for a happening scene look elsewhere. The drinks are pricey and very watered down.

An organization I am on the board for hosted an event at Assembly. We worked with Angela who was FANTASTIC! She was very quick to assist and really made everything come together. Everyone mentioned how great the space was and the service was exceptional. The bartenders and servers were every attentive! Thank you again to everyone!!

Stayed at the Logan Hotel and tried their rooftop bar Assembly. Ordered a mixed drink and watched the bartender pull a tap for the drink and add zero rum or bourbon. I asked the bartender if I missed the part where he added the alcohol and he said he didn’t - they premix drinks and “shake” in the lemon. Worst drink ever. Ordered two small plates - shrimp roll which is shrimp salad on a roll and guacamole. The shrimp salad was spoiled. It smelled spoiled as I bit into it. My friend bit into hers before I could say anything and spit it out saying “this is bad - it’s SPOILED!” We sent the shrimp roll back. The guacamole was tasteless - we had to literally shake salt on it to make it edible. I would it zero stars if I could. The only good thing is the view and that’s just OK since it’s only on the 9th floor. I’ve had better views staying at the Embassy Suites across the street. Skip this place - it’s AWFUL!

What other place can you enjoy the city views and talk neuroscience with your server. This is definitely a place to see during your visit to the city.

A brilliant place to start the night. It was warm so we sat outside and relaxed. Service was good and quick. Great view of the city and worth visiting.
Very good for the view alone
Drinks are over-priced. Like, way over-priced. Space is GREAT. Views are great. Unique for Philly. We were there early evening on a Sunday and got a seat, but can see how it would get very crowded. The hotel told us they limit number of guests at a time to be sure they can provide good service... well... our service was still "eh." I'll go back though... for the view!
