The bomb

By Lee G |

Fantastic food. The gnocci & sausage dish is a huge recommend. Vee was an awesome host and looked after whatever we needed.

A return visit is a must!

In town for the Imperial Shrine session and had dinner at Atalian which is close to our hotel. Had a delicious dinner and our service was impeccable. Anita was our server and she and all the staff are so friendly and a pleasure to dine with. Definitely a return visit is in order!!

Wonderful Italian restaurant in downtown Atlanta. Great location if you’re going to The Fox Theater.

By smr124 |

My daughter and I had tickets to see Trevor Noah at The Fox Theater tonight. She attends Georgia State University so I searched for restaurants near both locations. What a find! Parking was easy. There’s a garage right next door and it was $8 for the 90 minutes that we dined. The restaurant is on the second floor and there were a lot of steps. I don’t know if there’s an elevator so if you need one I’d call to check first. We had a 5:30 reservation and arrived a few minutes early. We received a wonderful greeting at the reception desk and were seated right away. Our wait team, Yusef and Sophia came over right away. They were both so pleasant. We ordered the antipasto board which was delicious! Grillled bread, assorted cheese and meats, olives, roasted peppers and artichoke hearts. We ate it all along with the basket of bread that was delivered promptly. For entrees, I had the Filet Marsala that Yusef recommended and my daughter had the chicken parm. The portions were generous and everything was cooked to perfection. We shared the cheesecake with strawberries for dessert which we loved as well. The service was impeccable . They stayed nearby without hovering so our water glasses stayed full and they were table side immediately after we finished each course. The restaurant is beautiful, the restroom was clean…I just can’t say enough about Atalian. Try them. You won’t be disappointed. We will definitely return!

Great restaurant

The atmosphere this restaurant was wonderful! I was a part of a group of 10. The staff handled us so well and timed our meal well with appetizers, main course and dessert. I would recommend this for a fine dining experience!

Wonderful dinner

By Angela L |

Friendly staff, beautiful decor, lovely ambiance, and delicious food. I stopped in on a Sunday evening with no reservation, and I was promptly seated at a small table. From the drinks menu, I had an aperol spritz, and the server brought out complimentary bread along with an amazing sun-dried tomato and olive oil salsa. I will dream about that salsa for a long time to come. The entree selections looked great, and I chose the sweet potato gnocchi. Fantastic. Very flavorful. Great textures. Dessert was a brownie. It was fudgy and delicious. If I'm ever in Atlanta again, I will look forward to dining here.

Great food

. We enjoyed dinner at Atalian. The menu offers a good variety. The food was well prepared and tasted very good. The service was friendly and attentive. The experience reminded us of one of our favorite New York City restaurants. Located a few minute walk from the Marriott Marquis.

Southern hospitality at its best!!

By SR148 |

Great location with a great vibe!! The selection of wines is outstanding and our server Chenchi recommended a Frescobaldi that turned out to be a hit. The menu is varied enough to provide options for individual preferences, with some twists on favourite dishes like the sweet potato gnocchi. The creme brulée is sublime and other desserts are good. Service is quick and very accommodating and will make a return visit a must.

Worst Italian in the state

I'd have excused them taking 90 minutes to figure out how to put a check together if the food was edible. Don't go here. Olive Garden is better value.

Enjoyed a romantic evening…

A really neat upstairs dining room, dark and intimate. Impeccable service. The wife and I had filet marsala, salmon, goat cheese ricotta fritters…can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Delicious Italian food, 10 out of 10!

By Tina C |

What a pleasant surprise this spot was! We had a delicious meal including their eggplant, bruschetta and meatball appetizer which we all loved. For entrees we had lasagna, gnocchi, chicken pesto and a Marsala dish. All were truly amazing!! Our server Vee was the icing on the cake. He was professional, gracious and friendly and I would highly recommend this restaurant

Amazing Restaurant

One of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time. The was absolutely delicious. . The bar tender was knowledgeable and fun. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. The managers were wonderful. I cannot say enough good things.

Very good food & service!

Food and service were both very good. Not necessarily “dressy”. The atmosphere was nice. Perhaps the best meal we had while vacationing in Atlanta. Recommend!

Living in a horror film🤦‍♂️

By tulites |

To say horrible or gruesome would be a positive connotation. Loud, lousy service, limited or better worthless wine list and „ things“ which figure as dishes and are marked as „ Italian“ it was in essence a horror film, a quite unique experience

Okay food. Terrible Experience.

I went out with a group of 10 to celebrate galentine's day. Our waiter was extremely condescending and insulted us for celebrating a stupid version of the holiday, told us we were only celebrating it because we couldn't get dates and then asked if we were single. He told us that we looked like we were 15 when we tried to order wine, and when he carded us, he doubled down that we looked like children. He then asked us if the entire party was of "south Asian descent" and when we all collectively said no, he asked for our order and then where our family was from and wouldn't acknowledge our order until we answered. When we wouldn't answer, he would ask the next guest in our party. He didn't write our orders down and had to come back twice and ask us to repeat them. By the end of the night, every time he approached our table, conversation would go silent and we, a group of 10, were visible uncomfortable. When we asked for the manager to see if we could get a new waiter, the waiter saw us talking to the manager and ran from the other side of the room to intervene. He had to be walked away from the table by another waiter. By this time, most of the restaurant was empty and when we decided not to get dessert because of how long it had taken for our food to come out. When we asked for the check, the waiter had overcharged us by around 90 dollars. The manager was very understanding and did help us though and fixed the bill. Great atmosphere, but terrible experience. The food was good, but again, I have never been so uncomfortable that wanted to leave a restaurant more in my entire life.

Expected a little more

I ordered Scampi Pasta, shrimps were a little overcooked, and pasta wasn’t al dente, that’s how you would expect it to be at an Italian restaurant. Service was good.

Park in parking ramp!

By Curious63251051164 |

This is a nice spot close to hotels. Our waiter, Adam, was great and we had leisurely evening and he never rushed or forgot about us! The entrees were good, but the charcuterie board was extremely underwhelming and expensive. Wine list is very limited for an upscale restaurant. As the other reviewers have pointed out the noise level is off the charts! ***Last thing I need to mention: we parked in the open unmonitored lot right next to restaurant and our passenger window was smashed in. They didn’t take anything, but the added cost of repair made this a very expensive evening! Park in a lighted monitored lot!

Italian To The Next Level

By Phavored1 |

Excellent. True perfection. The food, the staff, the ambiance. The meals are Italian based, but the chef does something to the recipe that takes the food to the next level. The cocktails are taken to a new level too. You can spend a little or spend a lot. You won't be sorry.

Elegant and delicious, while still being friendly.

By Joy V |

We were staying in downtown Atlanta when we happened upon this gem just down the street from Peachtree center. This place is elegant without being stuffy. Gregory welcomed us as the door and made us feel very welcome. He also checked on us during the meal to make sure everything was great. Marvin was our server, and we felt very pampered. He took excellent care of us checking with us often making sure we had everything we needed. Last, but not least, our meals were exceptional. My salmon was perfectly prepared to my liking and my husband’s lasagne was absolutely delicious. Next time we visit Atlanta, we will definitely be back!

Terrific Italian hide-away

By Peter V |

Great service and food! We had the lasagna shrimp scampi - mmmmmm! Cool location too that is just a block off the main drag, and upstairs above another popular eatery. Very fortunate to have stumbled upon this place. Ask for Yusuf! He was our waiter, and he was terrific!
