A great little find in the vibrant village of Coconut Grove! If you like Thai food then this restaurant is a must! We have eaten here before, and had take-outs. The food is freshly cooked and beautifully flavoured. The restaurant is small and cozy, with some tables outside too. On this visit, I arrived alone and sat at the bar because there were a couple of other girls sat there on their own. I felt comfortable and safe. The server immediately started chatting to me and gave me some iced water whilst I browsed the menu. The menu is not extensive, but there is something for everyone - meat, vegetarian and seafood. I chose a seafood salad, which was delicious - shrimp and calamari cooked in Thai spices on a bed of greens, an accompaniment of chilli sauces and with a chilled glass of Californian Chardonnay. My husband joined me when his meetings finished, and had a glass of wine. We chatted to Christie for ages; she was very hospitable. We can also highly recommend the coconut prawn soup, the pad Thai and green Thai curry, which we have eaten there in the past.

My usual spot for Thai food has always been Bangkok Bangkok in the gables, but as of late the quality of food has diminished..... Fortunately a friend introduced me to Atchana's Thai and i was very pleasantly surprised the great service and very good food... Having been a Thai food aficionado for so many years, it was great to find a place close to home with great food. We sat at the bar, had great food and service, and truly recommend it for Thai food.

We went here on a recent trip to Miami Beach and really enjoyed ourselves. Great food, reasonably priced with a really eclectic feel. You won't be disappointed.

I loved this restaurant! I’ve been seeking out a good Thai restaurant for awhile now and I’ve found it ! Not a huge menu ... but that’s what you want a smaller menu with everything done excellent. The owner was a real nice lady she worked the tables and the bar on a very busy Saturday afternoon ... She was great !! It’s a Small cozy place with tables outside as well .. if you want a really delicious meal go to this place !!! try the Mee Grob appetizer (my favorite I had 2 orders) and the Red Curry was perfect ! Do Not miss Atchanas ! I will definitely be going back at least once a month , I’d go more often but I live 120 miles away !!!

A new Grove favorite! The place is great all around! Food was fantastic and the service even better. Make sure to try the Lap Gai, Crispy Duck and the Shrimp Pad Thai. If. It sure what to order, no worries just call over to Krista and she will steer you in the right direction! For dessert the Thai donut holes are a must and if you are in the mood for a refreshing drink I highly recommend the Thai Juan On - its their version of the mojito and its delicious!! Definately going to be a local new favorite, thank you Atchana!

Loved this place! The food is fantastic, not too spicy, offers a whole range of appetizers and entrees. We loved it all. Authentic and wholesome Thai cuisine. Man sod was delicious, the chicken satay a superb. The pad Thai fantastic. Everything was so yummy, really. Our waiter was lovely and very attentive. Sweet spot. Had a great time. Will go back!

This is a small restaurant with a large outdoor curbside dining area. If you have been in Miami for a while the owners of this restaurant used to operate it out of a green building on US 1 in South Miami. We ordered fried beef Jerky as an appetizer, and Basil Ribs (THE BEST) and Volcano Shrimp. We are on a Keto diet so we could not enjoy the Pad Thai or Rice but plan to return soon and try them.

At this point we have been here and ordered a few times, and this is the Thai restaurant we’ve been looking for in Miami. I was excited when I saw they were “related” to the first Thai restaurant in Miami, which I Loved! And they don’t disappoint! Everything we have tried at this point has been delicious and the Thai flavors are on point! It’s our new favorite Thai!

If you like Thai food, Atchana’s is not to be missed. Gluten Free options are available. Outside seating is charming on a sunny day. Service was friendly and the level of hot was explained well.

The food, service, ambiance was just fabulous. I am definitely going back. It's family-owned and operated. The attention to detail was amazing; excellent, couteous service, and I absolutely loved the red curry. Please go and support this great place!!!

Food was tasteless. Ordered noodle dish with tuna. Tuna was tasteless. Obviously had been in the freezer awhile. Disappointing and expensive given the locale and tasteless food.

this place has real thai food and the setting is super too. you feel like your in bangkok whilst being in coconut grove. the food is great so great that it can get very busy. everything is amazing the appetisers, the mains the salads, the sauces. everything

Amazing food, great service! We ordered spring rolls, eggplant-tofu and seasonal vegetables - all vegetarian and all very good! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing food and service! From the appetizers to the desserts everything was fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Will be back!

Nice, small restaurant with sympathetic staff. We started of with a Tom Yam Kung. That was really disappointing. Taste has not much to do with the original soup. A cube of Tom yam Kung broth, 3 shrimps and some champignons de Paris do not make a Tom yam Kung. The Tom Kha Kai on the other hand was nice. The Pad Krapow was really nice. The other dishes oké. I realize this is Miami and not Bangkok, but would not it be nice to let Miami experience some real Thai flavors?

Came here with friends and enjoyed it very much! They have a large selection of typical Thai foods! Quick service, high level of preparation! You can tell the waiter the degree of desired spines … suggest Thai way, good and worthy. They also have large selection of beers… IPA and other selections. Wines and spirits available too. Service is kind and swift. Prices commensurate to the location, overall very reasonable.

Nice outdoor area and very nice and responsive staff. Regarding food, we were not totally convinced, I enjoyed my curry but my wife and son didn’t liked their pad thai. Staff was very nice in assisting, maybe it was just bad luck or our taste was not on the right point this day. We will try again!

Met a group of friends here for dinner. We were seated at a nice outside table but they were busy and had to wait a short time before we could order. Once the food came, there were no complaints. Many different items were ordered which allowed us to do some taste testing. Everything was delicious.

This is the Thai restaurant we’ve been looking for! I was excited when I saw they were “related”to one of the first Thai restaurants in Miami, and they didn’t disappoint! We had the “jumping squid” and the flavors were perfect. The Panang Chicken Curry was a bit basic, but the Pad Prik King was fantastic! We Vegetable Fried Rice was also very Good! So we have a new favorite!

This small eatery offers a good selection of authentic Thai food. The service was great, prompt and professional.

Thai fusion menu with choices for everyone. Lots of noodle dishes which were my favorites as well as the whole Snapper which was done to perfection. Excellent service by Samantha who was helpful with recommendations. Indoor and outdoor seating. Only downside was beer and wine only. Their mule version with sake didn’t go over well.

Excellent Thai dishes 😋 We searched on both TripAdvisor and Yelp for a good Thai place in Miami. This one came up with average good reviews. Definitely agree with positive reviews. Had 5 different dishes with different proteins, meat, shrimp and Salmon. All tasted great. We had a great meal.

Our favorite dish is Basil Ribs, however everything they have on the menu is great, outdoors in the fall is a real treat and they fish tank is a treat unto itself. Steve and Atchana have a real locals winner

If you are into Thai food this place is quite good They opened a second branch from the original @ Mutiny Hotel Service is good and food ad well They pick the right spot right in Cocowalk Try the ribs pretty good

I love the delicious and authentic flavors. The ambience was very personal and welcoming. You can tell that everyone who goes there feels very special because I met a lot of returning customers and now I am blessed to be one of them.

Absolutely love this place. They are family of the old Siam Lotus Room on US 1 in south Miami that closed like 6 yrs ago. The Service is great. The owners Steve his Wife and son work there. The Food is great my favorite are the curry dishes I have tried them all and my wife enjoys the clear noodle plate with shrimp. But they have a wide variety of dishes and if it’s not there they will make it for you. It is a small place which makes it hard to get in unless you have a reservation but the have seating at the bar which is fine bc you get to talk the Steve and all his staff. They also have a wide selections of Sriracha sauces raging from mild to Super Duper HOT!!! What’s also cool are the beer Towers they fill up these towers and you can easily have 2-3 beers bt 4 people. I definitely recommend this place.

Nice Thai restaurant in a popular Miami neighborhood. Plenty of shaded seating during lunchtime. Friendly waiters.

I just want to share constructively that while I do think Atchana has the best Thai food in Miami and the ingredients are consistently quality, their insistent marriage to their only delivery company ChowNow is hurting their reputation repeatedly. The food is always an hour later than promised, cold and often missing items. This is incredibly disappointing in general but what I wish the restaurant would acknowledge and make a change for the better on this is that those taking delivery instead of dining in (whatever their reasons for this choice) deserve the same amount of service. It’s not like the food costs less for delivery versus dine in!

We are visiting from Australia and Stopped in for lunch and definitely were not disappointed! We have been to Thailand many times and the Thai food here was just as amazing , if not better! Our beautiful waitress Tasha was fantastic and could not do enough for us. We will definitely return.. Five stars all the way

Quaint spot on a nice corner of Coconut Grove. Having lived in East Asia for 2 decades and visited Thailand over 20 times, am very picky about my Thai food. This place is the real deal. I had the seafood pad tai and it had “authentic” written all over it. The noodles were soft without being soggy (which is the hard part to get right on this dish). The taste was just right. I especially liked - when i asked for it to be “hot” as in spicy, they asked me if I wanted “hot” or “Thai hot”… I opted for hot and it was spot on again as Thai hot takes it to another level. They have Singha beer on tap and service was fast and friendly. Am only in Miami for a week but will make a point to eat here one more time. My friend and I polished off every bite on our plates. Xr̀xy

The restaurant offers a varied menu ranging from rice to noodles, with duck, chicken fish and meat. I recommend the half duck crispy or the nodule soup with duck. The setting is very nice with an aquarium that attracts all the children, ideal while waiting for the dishes. Impeccable service, musical atmosphere and a rather atypical decoraion.

We as a family have travelled the world. We love Thai food. Anyone who is in the neighborhood HAS to try this place. it is 10/10 !!!! The food the Service !! Everything is amazing. !!! We even got to meet Chicago mike ! This place rocks !!!!!!! Love it. A MUST DO when you visit miami !!!!

We a recommendation from the restaurant right next door we sat outside in perfect weather and with a plate of pad Thai. Everyone and everything was excellent!!

Food was delicious and the size of the dishes were perfect. My guests that came from Spain loved the menu and the quality of their food selection. Location is great, a lot of street parking in the area. Service outstanding, kind and friendly people. To highlight a young guy who made our check out process very easy, his name was Bryan or Brandon? This restaurant deserves not 5 but 10 stars!

The food in this wonderful little restaurant on the corner of Grand Ave and Commodore Plaza is exceptional, everything we've had there has been great. It's easy to experience the authenticity and loving care that goes into everything they make. My favorites are the Tiger Tear and the Basil Ribs, oh my God delicious, however their salads and soups are amazing too, what ever your in the mood for you'll be delighted. And while that's super important in a restaurant I feel compelled to mention how wonderful the owners Atchana and Steve are too. They are so committed to our community and our world. For every order they give back to feed a child in Thailand that would otherwise go hungry through their partnership with B1G1 Business For Good. Great people, making great food and doing great things. It doesn't get any better than that.

The only reason not 5 star is that when we go for lunch, we always leave hungry. Great for dinner, though!

I stopped at this quaint little corner restaurant while wandering around coconut Grove. They have an amazing wine list and the curry is out of this world. I am a bit of a Thai Aficionado, so I can comfortably say this is probably the best green curry I've ever had. Hector is excellent. You will definitely NOT be disappointed.

The food was fine but nothing special, lacking in a bit of flavour. Enjoyed the vibe of sitting outside and people watching. Staff were friendly.

A very good address on Coconut Grove. A small room inside and seats outside. Very Good Welcoming and Service. The dishes are very hearty and good, you can share a dish for two if necessary and if you are not too hungry. I took a Pad Prick Khing for example and had a hard time finishing.

Walking around Cocconut Grove I saw this place and I antered! I loved the ambiance and also the decoration! Service was outstanding and the owner very pleased! My favorite food in the world os Pad Kra Pau and they delivered their best! Superb place!

Amazing Food! Ordered many items to share as family style! Highly recommend this way to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes!

We had a delicious dinner there. Husband had shrimp and pork pad thai and I had the volcano shrimp which could have been less sweet and spicier but still good. Both plates were loaded with shrimp. Service was very good. Prices a bit high for asian food but the good amount of shrimp on our dishes made up for it. There's a most beautiful aquarium in the inside dining room. Premises could have been nicer... a bit "sticky" as I sometimes say.

Atchana's is located in the heart of Coconut Grove and specializes in Thai food, which is characterized by its strong aromas, contrast of flavors and powerful spicy (although here you can order without spicy). It is a casual restaurant with two environments (indoor and outdoor), unpretentious and succulent food. We found that the best way to enjoy Atchana's is to share dishes, since the variety is the taste. We suggest trying Tom kha kai soup, made with chicken, coconut milk and mushrooms, acid and spicy. Atchana's has another location within the Mutiny Hotel which has a less oriental trend.

My family and I have become weekly regulars here, for many reasons: 1. high quality and good flavored food consistently 2. excellent, honest service 3. not greasy, you don't feel disgusting the next day from having consumed a pile of salt or fat 4. comfortable ambiance (we have a 3.5 yr old who loves this place as much as we do) 5. it seems like most dishes are made to order and highly customizable. Our favorite items are the chicken satay (a childrens' favorite), garlic beef (we crave this dish!), tom kha kao soup, and any of the chicken dishes. One time we ordered a curry dish and found the flavors not to our liking but we are particular about curry and most of our friends love the curry dishes here. We love the Pad Thai too, and the ribs have an excellent flavor. My husband and I usually feel disgusting the morning after going out for thai or chinese food, but this restaurant does not make us feel that way which shows me that they are using good ingredients instead of cheap flavor additives. They've been at their location for three years and seem to have a strong local following, including us!

The food quality and service was great. The price is fair as well. Because of COVID-19, they are only allowing outside seating, but the servers took really good care of us.

Yes, the food is fresh and authentic. Yes, the selection of cold libations is outstanding: Singha, craft beers, decent wine selection and even draft sake! Yes, by Miami standards, Atchana’s offers great value for money.... ... but what really makes this place special is the owner combo of Atchana and Steve who embody hospitality and make you feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed the large Sriracha selection! My better half appreciated the fact that there are tons of vegetarian options on the menu. Try the seafood Pad Thai or any of the curries on the menu, you won’t be disappointed.

At this point we’ve been here a few times and ordered takeout a few times, and this is the Thai restaurant we have been looking for in Miami. I was excited when I saw they were “related” to the first Thai restaurant in Miami, which I Loved! And they don’t disappoint! Everything we have tried at this point has been delicious and the Thai flavors are on point! It’s our new favorite Thai!

Great food and even better hot sauce collection! Our waiter was super helpful in bringing me lots of sauces to try out –– I'm a big heat seeker. The satay appetizer was fun and interactive; my main dish was the Pad See Ew, vegetarian-style with tofu, which was awesome; and my boyfriend's entree of Green Curry Pork was delicious (I ate his leftovers). Extensive drink selection with Sake on tap, but I had wine, which was good. And the Thai iced tea was awesome. Would recommend this place.

Very good meals, I really appreciate the dumplings, the crispy duck and of course the mango sticky rice… my husband is a fan of their curry and my daughters have always the chicken satay on fire…

Having had a bad run at local restaurants we tried Atchana's Homegrown Thai in the Grove tonight. Atchana is the eponymous restaurant of the owner, Atchana, who has run the old Siam Lotus (green building) on U.S. 1 before it was torn down, and Atchana's in the Mutiny. Now located since January 2017 on the corner of Commodore Plaza and Grand Highway across from the post office, this delightful establishment serves superb Thai food in a very relaxed atmosphere with expert staff. We went on a Thursday night at 6PM and there were plenty of tables available. The room is dominated by an enchanting fish tank with beautiful tropical fish and living corals. The menus is simple, on two sides of a laminated sheet. We started out with veggie egg rolls (crispy). They were much larger than the usual egg rolls and served on a bed of lettuce and a wonderful white sauce. This was followed by a large bowl of coconut, chicken soup (a very special flavor), and finally, we shared a large serving of shrimp pad Thai. All the dishes were plentiful and savory. I washed my dinner down with a Singha beer, which they will soon have on tap. The service was knowledgeable, quick and efficient. They checked with us several times to see if all was ok, and it certainly was. I would highly recommend Atchana's. Our bill was $17 for the pad Thai,$7.00 for the beer, $7.00 for the egg rolls, and $7.00 for the soup, for a total of $38.00. The food being served at the other tables also looked wonderful and we cannot wait to go back there. • Visited July 2017

Thai has been a staple of my diet for decades, this place is as good as it gets. In NYC most places charge a lot more for an inferior product. I've now been a regular for over a year.

Was our first time to visit Coconut Grove - saw Atchana's at the corner of Commodore Plaza - cozy little place - Food was excellent - We ordered something not from the menu - a simple string beans sautéed with garlic - was so good and fresh. Their Thai donut is to die for topped with ginger ice cream. Our servers (Jenifer) is excellent - very patient and made us feel special. We went twice for dinner. This place is new but very impressive. Thank you!!!!

We brought 8 of our closest friends to Atchana's Homegrown Thai and it was amazing. We started out with Drinks at the Bar. Hector, suggested some unique Craft Beers, Sake Flights and Lychee Sangria. All were thoroughly enjoyed. We made our way to the table where we had appetizers of Thai Beef Jerky, Summer Rolls, Tom Kha Khai, and Egg Rolls. All were served fresh, hot, and delicious. Our dinner selections consisted of Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Crispy Snapper, Pad Woonsen, and Coconut Curry. We finished off the dinner with 3 servings of the Thai Donuts and Champagne to celebrate a special Birthday! All in All, it was a wonderful experience and we will all be back soon to try the other tasty offerings at Atchana's Homegrown Thai!

What an awesome experience; Daniel was our server, and the whole team is spectacular. We ordered a combination (two plates) of a spectacular Crispy Duck (so juicy inside) and a Pad Krapaw Talay. This was truly a culinary experience. The Steamed Asian Dumplings to start and the bottle of Nigori Sake was a dream experience. Best dinner in Miami. Ambiance is nice for conversation with a friendly professional service

It's a local favorite, and there can be a wait. The food is very good though, and the drinks are good, too. The bartender is very charming. I think the hostess is the owner. One important note: the portions are very large -- so don't order too many dishes.

Loved the red curry and the seafood pad thai dinners. Good size portions. Great selection of white wines. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Owner on premises take huge pride in her offerings and makes sure every guest is happy. Best Thai food in Miami!!!

We absolutely LOVE this Thai restaurant, both to dine in for a treat / date night and also for a take out. We frequently get cravings for their Penang Curry and absolutely love it here. The staff are always really friendly, and the food is delicious - always fresh, and authentic.

This restaurant is such a great addition to our local restaurant scene. Here under a year in this location it has quickly become a local favorite. The owners Steve and Atchana are long time restauranteurs and bring all if their knowledge and expertise to this endeavor much to the benefit of us foodies

One of the best Thai restaurants in Miami. Some of the dishes are predictable but others are prepared with flair. Good portions, good service and good value. Functional decor, nothing special, informal. Some sidewalk seating available.

Everything tastes made from scratch - even the four sauces aight arrive at the table early. The one with tiny bird papers is spicy and delicious added to just about anything you order. Two of us split the fried red snapper - very generous in size (seemed larger than the one pound it was supposed to be) and cooked perfectly over a bed of vegetables that were mild and still a bit crispy. Yellow curry with chicken was good but a bit on the thin side. Brown rice was barely warm when served and the extra sticky rice we ordered was sub par. Metal chairs were not comfortable but we would go back for the friendly service and great fish.

Of all the places in Miami, I chose to go to Atchanas for my birthday dinner. I have tried Massaman Curry at many many Thai restaurants and truly this is the best. I also tried my husbands Ginger chicken and that was out of this world as well. I highly recommend this to get your Thai on. 😊

Went here on 4 occasions during our 4 day visit to Coconut Grove...food is so good! Service is also excellent, if you enjoy Thai food, this is the place to go!!

Some great food here. Me and my friends were very very pleased. Every one of the dishes we ordered were very tasty and special in it's own way. I had their special salad and the garlic beef. The beef was tasty, with a very smooth garlic aroma, perfect with a bit of hot sauce. I tasted what my friends ordered and everything had great aromas. Unfortunately they did not have the mango sticky rice. I would return.

This restaurant is so yummy. We have been to Thailand and this place is very authentic higher end Thai food. Without the high end prices. It is very well priced, good sized portions and awesome service! We have been here a few times and it’s been great every time. They have indoor and outdoor seating in the heart of coconut grove. Definitely recommended.
Fresh and authentic
Situated on a he corner with both indoor and outdoor seating this place is a charmer. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive. The menu is rich in choices. Summer rolls and egg rolls were a great start. The pad Thai, drunken noodle dish and chicken curry were all well done and accompanied by nice Singh’s beer on tap. The spice levels are flexible. Thai donuts come with nice dipping options and are light and flakey. Top it off with reasonable Prices and you have a winner!
