Great breakfast

By DrJJF |

We saw the reviews for this place and gave it a try and we were not disappointed. The chicken and waffles are a must have. We also had the breakfast tacos and they were good. I would recommend adding yourself to the waitlist via yelp. We had to wait for a while but it was okay. They had a DJ outside that kept us entertained. The server was very attentive and had a great personality. Definitely a must try place.

A nice little spot for breakfast in a historic part of Atlanta

By Poolely |

We stumbled upon the Atlanta Brakfast Club by accident. Once we got in, the place is clean and spacious. The menu is fairly simple with only 4 options for breakfast. The coffee menu was bigger. We tried the "Original" and the "Peach" Chicken and Waffles. The waffles were 3" waffles but were warm and fluffy. The chicken was a slice of chicken breast battered and flavored really nicely and sat on top of the waffle perfectly. One thing I was not impressed with was a charge for water. It did come in a bottle, but that wasn't explained to me when I asked for 2 waters. Just let the customer know, the only water you offer is bottled and it will be 3.75. Although the breakfast was good, I'd like to see some addition waffle / menu options. Like Pecan, or Red Velvet. Or get crazy and offer a French Toast Waffle or Monte Cristo. The sky is the limit. Good luck guys.

Delicious, even for a Vegetarian

By Kegshap |

DELICIOUS!!! had a variety of items with family here and all was so tasty. The vibe is super cool. Our waiter ChillWill was super helpful in deciding which vegetarian options would be best, and the fried green tomato BLT (no bacon) and it did not disappoint. Son had French toast, husband had the pepper chicken biscuit sandwich and we all enjoyed some of the Georgia peach. Sooo good! Slight negatives are that It’s pretty loud, and the beverages come in bottles (except the coffee). But that did not diminish the experience at all.

The service matched the delicious food

By Seday |

Today was my first time at Atlanta Breakfast club. The food was delicious. My fav was the peach cobbler chicken and waffle. But most importantly, I was so impressed with the service. Spencer was very attentive and made the experience here much more enjoyable. I will definitely come back!

Fast, but awkward and overpriced

By MeansToAnEnd |

I came here for a normal breakfast, since this appeared to be the only place for a long distance around. The ambiance is rough and ready - concrete floors and red plastic chairs. But the menu is decidedly expensive. Service was fast and efficient, but badly coordinated - I was moved from table to table for no obvious reason. Food was OK but bland, and appeared mercifully fast.

Great breakfast near Georgia Acquarium and Coca Cola World

By aurelius999 |

We were looking for a breakfast option before visiting the aquarium. Located directly across the street. Here you can find everything an American breakfast heart desires, waffles, French toast, cobbler, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, and of course egg dishes, chicken and sausages. Large portions are a given, so you don't need to plan lunch that day. The service is energetic and friendly. The dishes we chose were all tasty and no one left unsatisfied. The drinks were a little overpriced. Basically there is nothing under $4-5 and we're not talking about gourmet coffee or fresh orange juice. But hey, we were happy and would come back anytime.

Fabulous breakfast

By Kristin S |

We were in town for a cheer competition and tried to come here the same time the previous year. It had a long wait last time and we didn't get to try it, so I was determined to go this trip. We arrived early (a few mins after 9) and were able to be seated immediately. We ordered some waters and coffee and I was surprised to see there was no tap water option. They only had packaged drinks, so we had to pay for all of our individual waters. Not a deal breaker, just warning others. Our server was wonderful and made many good suggestions. We ordered the peach cobbler french toast and it was ah-maz-ing. I was so happy with this decision. My husband ordered a secret menu option that was chicken and waffles with the peach cobbler topping added to it. It was also delicious. Our daughter had the egg/bacon breakfast and she ate every single thing on her plate. I would definitely recommend this place for a yummy breakfast and great service.

Really Good Southern style breakfast

By Christine D |

Wasn’t sure at first glance. But Man! The food was excellent! The bacon was awesome and the grits were soooo good. The coffee was really strong! The kids loved it! They even made plans with each other to come back the next day.

Good.

By Jemilla T |

We visited the location across from GA Aquarium. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and we were able to get right in. We did have to make a reservation via Yelp, and we were seated as soon as we entered. Waitress was very friendly and explained all the dishes to us. Food was good. We tried the Peach French Toast, Chicken and Biscuits and the full breakfast with grits. They no longer have fountain drinks, only bottled which are Coke products.

Good Food & Service but Several Aggravations.

By JohnKreviews |

The peach cobbler French toast was very sweet, but very good. Scrambled eggs as a side were done just right. Others seemed to like their food too. Was disappointed they were out of breakfast tea (you can buy 20 tea bags at Kroger for $3 & make that back in one or two cups!) Also, despite many open tables at 7:30 on a weekday morning, they, wouldn't seat the 3 of 4 in our party until the last arrived. I get this type place is popular, is downtown & gets busy, but suggest flexing the policy when there are 20 empty tables. Also, I think they charged for two cups of coffee when only one in our group had it. I'd go back for the food, but the other points were a bit aggravating.

Best Chicken &Waffles!

By Pita650 |

If you want to taste of southern comfort food, come here! It doesn’t look like much from the outside. The inside has a diner feel to it. The folks that work here were extremely friendly and the background music was pumping! I highly recommend the chicken & waffles! Sweet and salty, rich and delicious.

Great Brunch before Aquarium visit

By MellyL04 |

Our family of 4 enjoyed brunch here today before our aquarium visit. My daughter and I had the friend green tomorrows blt (they are served on biscuits). My husband had the eggs Benedict, and our son had the peach French toast. Everything was delicious. The service was attentive and well-paced, even though they were very busy. The whole restaurant had a fun, happy vibe. Here are some tips. 1. If you’re going to brunch before the aquarium, just go ahead and park at the aquarium in the garage. It’s an easy walk across the street. 2. You can go on Yelp and add your name to the waiting list when you are on the way. We actually arrived after the window from our Yelp check-in and the hostess graciously accommodated us. (We we’re unprepared for the challenge of parking.). But be advised that they do expect your whole party there before they seat you. We really enjoyed our brunch here and would definitely return!

Food's delicious 😋, service's outstanding, & music 🎶 will get you ready to start your day! Use your phone to scan menu and place order. PLEASE don't sleep on the Georgia Peach Chicken & Waffles. It's the real deal, succulent and plentiful; you won't be disappointed.

waffle and chicken

By Harry D |

ate breakfast twice my wife and i had the chicken and waffles, my wife got hers with the peach cobbler, we both enjoyed our meals, the chicken was perfectly cooked, some of the best i have ever ate

Buyer Beware!

By Joneszeee |

We had coffee before arriving and decided to save a few bucks on beverages in order to justify the pricey menu items. We all opted for water, and it was served in a carton (see photo). There were seven in our group, 4 adults and 3 children. Our water bill alone was $28!!!! Our total food bill, including 20 percent tip, was $350. The atmosphere was exciting, the service was great, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the cost was a bit over the top.

Excellent breakfast

By Richard W |

Very authentic American breakfast served by friendly staff. Liked the short waiting time until breakfast arrived.

Real Deal Southern Comfort Food

By Bob M |

Can't say enough good about this place. Our server was great. Friendly, funny, and super efficient We both got Southern Benedict - sausage gravy and a fried egg on one of the fluffiest biscuits I've ever had. Also had a side of cheese grits that blew this New England kid away. I almost wish we hadn't tried here on our first morning - nothing else we tried matched it.

Don’t waste your money

By Floridalover85 |

I had high hopes after reading the reviews. First off there is no free water. Water is $4. The food was overpriced and flavorless. The cheese grits were gritty and had chunks of unmelted cheese throughout. The staff were all really nice and welcoming. Food came out rather quickly even though they were crowded but the quality of the food wasn’t there.

Good food, fantastic service

By Tour66382463587 |

Great spot - the food was heavy but delicious, and the service was supremely excellent. Every single staff member was friendly and attentive, and our server, Gwen, not only took good care of us but also gave us recommendations for other places to eat and things to do in the area. The atmosphere was warm and chatty, and despite how busy it was the staff didn't seem stressed or strung out. A+

Everything was fine.

By Vugar |

Hello everyone, highly recommended, the portions are very large and delicious. Places fit everyone. Very friendly team service

Meh

By GreatLaker25 |

We went here on a Saturday morning for breakfast while staying in downtown Atlanta. My wife had an omelette and I had the southern breakfast. The service was fine but you had to ask for everything that’s normally on the table, e.g., salt, pepper, hot sauce, butter, jam, etc. By the time it arrived our food was getting cold. The omelette came with nothing but the omelette itself, no toast, etc. For a well-reviewed breakfast restaurant we expected more. It was okay but nothing special.

Great food and great service. What is there not to like

By Michael P |

Very friendly helpful and friendly staff. The food was great. Tasty, filling and just what we needed to fuel up to explore the city with a full belly. Would definitely recommend

Amazing Food

By carsos01 |

The food was amazing! I just ordered a breakfast sandwich which was delicious. My friends ordered the Georgia Peach! Unbelievably large dish. Chicken and waffles with peach cobbler on top! They loved it.

Best breakfast in town

By John T |

Best place in Atlanta, food 5 out of 5, service 5 out of 5, atmosphere 5 out of 5. Wait was to long owner personally sat us. Would come back every-time in town.

Skip this overpriced breakfast

By Emily |

Food is good, but kind of average and VERY overpriced for what it is. No drinks with glasses. Only bottled water which is served in a cardboard container for $4!!!! How can any good restaurant get away with that? They up charge for absolutely everything on the menu. My son ordered one waffle and asked for peach topping on the side- $4 for a tiney bowl of peach syrup. I had two eggs, grits, bacon and ONE biscuit and it was $16.95. In total breakfast for my two teens and myself was $85. Do not recommend. Will not be back.

Excellent breakfast

By lckirkwood |

When I checked into my hotel I asked for a b real fast recommendation and the woman told me to go to the ABC. She said it would be a long wait but it would be worth it. We went and only waited five mins. We were seated and immediately waited on. There are some things to know. Everything you ask for will add to the cost. If you ask for eggs with hard centers it could cost $4. If you want gravy it will be about $5. If you want pork bacon it could be another $4. That is for a specialty item. My chicken And waffle (excellent) was $18 .95. My water was $4. And my tea was $3.50. My colleague ordered a special and hers ended up with everything g on it and it was $41. The waitstaff are great. The food comes fairly quickly. By the time we left the place was so crowded it was taking about 30 mins for a table.

The BEST breakfast in Atlanta!

By Debbi L |

This was an amazing dining experience. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was exceptional! We arrived early, so no wait! An absolute must visit if you’re in Atlanta. Bring your appetite as the servings are huge and wonderful. The grits are perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend!

Amazing food!

By kellyhi219 |

We were seated fairly quickly despite it being very crowded. We were able to wait on the benches under the tent outside. Our food came quicker than expected as well. I had peach cobbler chicken and waffles and my husband had chicken and biscuits with gravy and potatoes. Food was unbelievable and huge portions.

Worst experience ever

By Robert P |

Multiple times we have tried to visit this restaurant unable to have our reservation honored when we arrived we were told that they were not accepting reservations after we booked a reservation online. We try to seek answers from the general manager she was not helpful at all people were waiting outside in the heat for over hours and this was the third attempt that we try to patronize this business. We tried multiple times to support this black on business unfortunately they failed three different times. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who values their time their money and a great dining experience. We were told that several people booked a 1 o’clock reservation at a time and that a reservation really wasn’t a reservation it was just a placeholder which was not explained on the restaurants website. I would give this restaurant a -200 failed on delivery failed on dining experience . Such a great letdown after so many words of mouth regarding a great new restaurant, However the restaurant Hype is not what is up to be, While we were in line waiting to be seated I actually booked a reservation online on open table at two urban licks I was able to get in right away thank you breakfast boys for wasting my time for driving for midtown Atlanta for what we thought was going to be a great dining experience

yum!

By AlbertCav |

Great food! We had the traditional chicken & waffles (good), and the peach cobbler Chicken & waffles (incredible). Chicken was really flavorful and juicy, best we had in our short trip. We went ay about 1pm, and wait was only about 5 minutes. Wait staff friendly. Would recommend.

Yummy!

By R D |

I've been several times and I will be several times going forward. You cannot go wrong with this restaurant. You will definitely want to be placed on the waitlist. There are no reservations. If you do not like restaurants that play loud music, don't come. Meal did come with glass poured drinks. Everything is in a bottle. I assume it is because of the Coca Cola partnership. Southern Breakfast and Chicken &Black Pepper were the meals of choice.

Delicious, but at what cost?

By RacquelMS |

The food was great, service was great. Only downside is the price is a little steep. For two people it was over $70 before tip.

Veggie omelet was great

By bhlraven1916 |

Atlanta Breakfast Club offers a solid breakfast experience with great service. The shrimp and grits were decent, though the addition of sausage in the grits was unexpected. On the other hand, the vegetable omelet was excellent, packed with fresh ingredients and cooked just right. The pancakes were another highlight—fluffy, flavorful, and well worth ordering. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the overall experience enjoyable. If you're looking for a good breakfast spot in Atlanta, this place is worth a visit!

Wow - what a pleasant surprise!

By rkb1970 |

We just randomly found the Atlanta Breakfast Club and what a treat! Worst part of the experience was trying to decide what to eat! We had the southern breakfast, the dirty bird (chicken and waffles w/gravy), an omelet, and the breakfast tacos. Every dish was better than the one before. I had the breakfast tacos and the waiter suggested adding chicken and bacon. i wasn't sure but I went with it and it was amazing. We had such a great meal. Can't wait to go back!

DONT GO WAY OVER PRICES AND BAD SERVICE

By theturtleman2016 |

Was super excited to go breakfast Truly disappointing service and food Overpriced water 4$ and for a side of butter for my grits was 1$ Biscuits were dry ….. and the rest was alright

Solo Breakfast

By warrenmcc |

Went to the restaurant. Found it on Yelp. Greeted with a smile. Sat promptly. My server greeted me then suggested some items. I ordered. Service was great. Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Loved the entire experience. I will return. Every thing and every one were awesome!!!

Great Service, Excellent Food

By Tanner L |

Food was really good! I ate the peach cobbler French toast and it was divine. The atmosphere was very loud (music and crowd). Something to keep in mind if you want more of a quiet meal. Service was excellent, crowded due to how delightful I’m sure!

Chicken and waffles are a must!

By Mary S |

The food here was amazing! The peach cobbler chicken and waffles were delicious! The homemade cinnamon buns were to die for. We had a great experience there and were served very quickly despite the restaurant being packed the whole time.

Yummy in the Tummy

By Stacy L |

The food was fast to come out and exceptional! A great place to come and experience true Southern breakfasts! We will be back when we come to ATL again!

Delicious breakfast

By Christy M |

What a delicious breakfast. Service was excellent and extra friendly and helpful. Cannot say enough good things and hope to eat here again

Quick, professional and wonderful food!

By Burt |

We visit for the first time on 11/29/24. Lamar greeted us promptly and very friendly. He handed us off for seating to his companion who was equally professional and polite. Our server, Bree, was second to none. Great recommendations and attentive. The place was full with 25-35 waiting for their turn. The food delivery was prompt. The food was fresh. We will be back!

Disappointing

By martin |

Beyond disappointed. Ordered the egg tacos and they were covered in cinnamon. Not described in the menu Or by our server. I told her server it was not as described and asked for some toast toast to put the eggs on as the cinnamon was not to my liking. He then proceeds to charge $1.75 for the one piece of toast

AMAZING

By Charissa Clark H |

OMG. I’m a huge fan of chicken and waffles. And this is hands down the best C&W I have ever had. Georgia peach was TO DIE FOR. the service was friendly and fun. The coffee was perfect. Go here for breakfast.

Didn't live up to the hype

By Solo traveler |

We were in Atlanta over a long weekend and decided we'd try this place on a weekday morning to avoid the weekend crowds. That was a good idea and we didn't have a crazy long wait for a table. We'd read several reviews calling this place out as a must-see/must-try restaurant. Breakfast was good but not amazing. We tried the chicken & waffles and the shrimp & grits. Both were well done but I wouldn't wait 2 hours in line for the food. (We called over the weekend and the wait at 10:30 on Sunday was already 2 hours!) The staff were friendly and professional. Suggestion: If you're going to the nearby GA Aquarium on the weekend consider putting your name in for a table. Given the long weekend wait times you might have time to visit the aquarium before brunch.

The Wait Is Finally Over

By AlexisMaurice |

I’ve been in ATL for nearly 7 years and have never been to the Atlanta Breakout Club. Every time I would try to go, it was always busy, busy, busy…wait times were through the roof. But…the wait was finally over…and I must admit, it was well worth the wait! Met a friend that was in town, on the way out of town for a quick lunch. Th food was delicious and the service was great. I had the Shrimp and Grits! Definitely will go again…hopefully it’ll be before another 7 years 🤦🏿‍♂️

Birthday

By Jearlean S |

I’m writing to let you know that the food is subpar at best to have a wait line like it does. I think when we check in the lady didn’t completely check us in. A hour later we came back to see how much longer it will be, she said we had to wait at least two hours to be seated. We waited three hours to be seated. This business needs to focus on customer service if they plan on being around for a while. The lady at the front was very distasteful in how she conducted business. I recommend you hire someone who goes above and beyond the expectations of your company. The lady at the front is normally the first person you see, she doesn’t do a good job in promoting the business of the company with that nasty attitude of hers. If this was my company I wouldn’t have her no where near my customers.

Southern Style

By Krystal M |

Went sightseeing today and came across this gem of a restaurant while walking around. A 1.5 hour wait, but we managed to pass the time quickly until our table was ready. Each staff member we spoke with was energetic and friendly. Our waitress, Kia was bubbly and knowledgeable about the menu. She went into detail on the food specials, and had me sold on one of them! Be prepared to wait for a table. But be prepared to enjoy the love put into their food. When you go to ATL, try out ABC!

Good food and service.

By dfb260 |

Very good food and service, although I thought the prices were somewhat high ($4.25 for coffee, $5.25 for a bottle of lemonade). Many of the entrees include fried chicken. Restaurant is loud; has a lot of hard surfaces. Really a diner type atmosphere.

Really good food!

By kjoe16 |

The food is amazing! It was so tasty! The people were very nice. There were two downsides… the music was way too loud (especially outside). The other downside is that it was quite warm inside. However, I’d still recommend due to the great service and outstanding food!

Tasty food, attentive staff.

By fllw1 |

What an amazing find that gives you a great flavor of Atlanta! The staff is particularly well versed and attentive. The only other time i had such good service was at an expensive 5-star restaurant. Food here is affordable, made from scratch and delicious. Definitely get there early enough for their amazing cinnamon buns! Also it's not just for breakfast! Check out their lunch menu too.

So good we went twice!

By emiline99 |

This place was so good we went back two days in a row! The first day we had the special recommended by our server, Radio, variations of chicken and waffles - my dad had the peach cobbler variation and I had the biscuits and gravy variation - fabulous! But so large, I was able to take half back to the hotel! Mom had the gumbo over grits, and it was so good, she had it the second day, as did I! I STILL dream about it nearly 2 months later! ;)

Kind of disappointed!

By Luis M |

This is a very unique place in Downtown Atlanta. They had a DJ outside playing good music so the 45 minutes wait was nothing. They also had a food truck bar outside so you can order mimosas while you wait. The business idea is great! The customer service in the restaurant was great as well. The food? Nothing to brag about. The DJ was advertising the best chicken and waffles in the world. Nope! My wife asked for it and it had nothing special. She asked for butter for the waffles and we were charged $1 for it. I had the shrimp and grits and ended up paying $3 extra for the fried shrimp and cheddar cheese. We didn’t know about any of these up charges until we got the bill. Definitely not what I was expecting! Been there done that! Never go back! Just my opinion!

Don’t miss this breakfast spot!

By Meredith M |

Great diner, could be characterized as a hole in the wall-I consider that a plus. Busy-get there early or wait. But the food…oh my goodness yum! Pancakes, grits, biscuits. Bring your appetite. Perfect spot to eat before visiting the aquarium right across the street. Taylor was our server and she was fantastic! Don’t miss this spot!

Come for an authentic southern breakfast - You can tell how good they are by the line to get in

By Marvin C |

This is a great place downtown, across from the Georgia Aquarium, for an authentic southern breakfast. My son had the crispy chicken biscuits with gravy - 2 large biscuits perfectly combined with chicken and white gravy. I had the peach cobbler French toast. Again, good sized portion and delicious.

Salty and Overpriced

By LaurenEA91 |

This place had pretty solid reviews, and there was no wait. Very loud in there for breakfast time. Service was prompt however for 2 hot drinks, 2 sandwiches and 1 side it was $42. The sandwiches are advertised at $4 but that only includes bread and eggs, meat and cheese are extra. Biscuit was very salty as were the eggs. Maybe the sweet stuff is more well balanced?

Looking for breakfast- look no further

By spruceroot |

The food was good but the service was better. Great vibe here and you just feel good walking through the door. Knew I was in the right location when I walked up and there were people waiting. Didn’t wait long as the place is fast. Staff was so nice and helpful. I had a southern breakfast and chose potatoes instead of grits and they were great! Really, you got to go here you won’t be disappointed!

Very upset

By Constance W |

Be extra careful with this restaurant. Waitstaff will upgrade you and not tell you the price. Then to make more money they don't give you ice or water. You have to buy board water for 4 bucks . Another hustke . We had 70 bucks for 2 people for basically a Diner. Biscuit was hard. Manager not very helpful. They don't give you ice in Europe. This is freaking downtown Atlanta. We waited 3 years to go here and to say it's a little down would mean being nice. As a first timer my husband looked at the bill and said we were hustled and we should have went to the Silver skillet like we usually do. They said they do boxed because of covid....but more than happy to give out coffee in a coffee cup. I'm so upset that I'm getting in touch with the BBB. I try to frequent black business but they've ruined that. Hustlers and Shysters

Perfect breakfast to end my trip to Atlanta.

By Fierce4Life2000 |

The whole experience was 5 Star worthy from check in to leaving. Our server Kevin was funny, energetic, and helpful. He even steered us away from the more “normal “ breakfast choices we were going to pick and had us try something new for us since we had never been. We got Chicken and Waffles and the chicken biscuit covered with shrimp gravy. The chicken was so juicy and delicious. The waffle was crunchy, airy, and sweet. The shrimp gravy had so much flavor that paired beautifully with the chicken and biscuit. I would definitely go back to have the same breakfast and to try everything else.

So good we went back the next day!

By letrips66 |

The location was right across from the World of Coke that we were visiting. The info about the restaurant said it typically was full and on a wait after 8:30 so we went early and there wasn't a crowd... wonder whether the waits are primarily on weekends?? I ordered the Southern Breakfast and my spouse got the breakfast tacos. The Southern Breakfast was just typical food and not special. But the breakfast tacos were fantastic! After looking at a lot of other options for the next day's breakfast, we decided to go back. That day I got the breakfast tacos and my spouse got the peach cobbler french toast. Another breakfast score. Prices are somewhat high, but the food was worth it.

This place is great

By JohnBluM2 |

We were in town for a concert and some locals mentioned this place. They were spot on. The hour plus wait is worth it (the mimosa truck helps). They have a do and someone selling some homemade jelly, juices and other stuff to keep you busy while you wait. I assume the vendors change. Inside it’s busy noisy and a place of great food. My fried chicken biscuits with peppered gravy were out of this world. The gf loved her chicken and waffles with peach cobbler. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our friends went there the day before too. She had a lobster tail biscuit thing. She loved it. That was a special. Go there. If you want water, just know that it comes in a bottle and is 4 bux. Mimosas were more expensive and better. What the heck would I do with water at 10am?

Worth The Wait…In The Rain!!

By ChristiAW |

We had aquarium reservations and this is across the street. We parked at the aquarium and walked over. At 10am on a Friday, the wait was a daunting 45min . Due to lack of space inside, staff had tents, heaters & benches set up outside. Staff even made sure benches were dry so everyone was as comfortable as possible. Once we were seated, the outstanding service from our waiter, Cywoo, the scrumptious, uniquely Southern, enormously portioned wiped the wait out of our minds. No, they aren’t charging IHOP prices, but they also aren’t serving IHOP quality. This is hand crafted food.

Good but not unforgettable!

By Amanda Gallop |

For the wait (1.5 hours) I was expecting the food to be unforgettable. It was good, maybe even a little better than average but definitely not unforgettable. We ate the “dirty bird” which wasn’t on the menu. Add the hot sauce! It added great flavor to the dish. The staff was friendly and unlike most places these days they didn’t seem to hate their jobs. The music is very loud. It’s not a serene experience but fun nonetheless. My husband and I dropped $90 on our breakfasts but we could have totally shared because we had leftovers. I think most people would enjoy the food and the atmosphere for an Atlanta breakfast.

Food is good

By jai0777 |

The food here was pretty good, that alone I would've given 4/5 stars. The restaurant was very loud and it was hard to talk to people at my table. That being said, the music was very good. My frustration was with the additional charges for items typically included at other restaurants. There's no tap water, you have to buy a $4 box of water, you want the house hot sauce to go with your breakfast? That's an extra dollar, same for butter to go with your biscuit. I just feel like all the upcharges are a little much. I also felt like our server was rushing us out, we were on a lunch break from conference so we already happened to have about 60 minutes for lunch. We had our food for about 15 minutes before the check was brought out, three of us were still eating, even though there was no line of people to be waiting to be seated and there were a few empty tables. Again the food was pretty good and I liked the vibe of the place, there was even a DJ outside, I just didn't love my experience.

Oh! My! Goodness!!!!

By Teacher20052013 |

If you visit nowhere else in Atlanta or eat no where else the Atlanta Breakfast Club is a MUST!!! There is nothing on the menu that is not stellar visually or for the palate. We recommend the chicken and waffles, the Po' Boy, the Dirty Bird....everything!!!

Come hungry but leave satisfied

By 224miguelg |

Day two of our Atlanta trip a decided to get a small bite for breakfast. Did not know small bite is not part of Atalanta breakfast club’s vocabulary. We Split a cinnamon roll between two of us. It was good and glad we did split it. But Let me tell you the chicken and waffle are not only amazing but filling. The seasoning of the chicken was very savory. The waffles are golden and very fluffy. You ask them they have the best chicken and waffles I must admit it does rank high. The staff are friendly and explain the up charges. Water is boxed and has fee. So we were surprised when we saw the bill. As mentioned in others comments. It does get a bit loud. If your looking good not so quite breakfast spot check them out.

Get there early.

By mhbellevue |

Great meal worth the wait! Chicken & waffles (Georgia peach), Southern Benedict were great! Great service.

Get the "P" biscuit!

By Drk Brent |

Excellent food and service! The "P" biscuit was a hit! Cywoo was a hoot and made us feel right at home! We'll definitely come back next time we're in town!

Long Wait

By LBandJ06 |

Its a long wait but with 3 little ones we got in and quickly served. Their drinks is very pricey and no refill. Right there and then we knew we are in for a very EXPENSIVE lunch. But... Chickens and waffle surprised us. Its that good. Pancakes is good too. Eggs and biscuits with gravy along witb French fries are good. Great great servers with southern hospitality... but VERY expensive. Its a great one time experience.

Amazing! Worth the wait!

By Marad12 |

On business in Atlanta our Uber driver recommended that we get on the waitlist for the Atlanta Breakfast Club while taking a tour through the World of Coca Cola. Great advice! The food is delicious. My colleague and I both ordered the Chicken & Black Pepper Gravy and we couldn't resist trying the Peach Cobbler French Toast!!! Amazing!! Such a great place!!

Was it good? Yes. Was it worth $40 for one breakfast/coffee? Nope. I got the chicken and biscuits with a side of eggs. $40??!! Really?? That’s insane! One and Done for me.

I Wanted to Like It

By AliJL |

Friendly staff but food was surprisingly only ok. Biscuits were super dry, and unfortunately we ordered sandwiches on biscuits. However they cook eggs well and their Grits, bacon n eggs combo was good. Their coffee was so so.

tourist trap with huge bland potions of waste

By maw11 |

Wow! What a disappointment. It is a very popular spot with loud DJ, and lineups. A spot for people trying to be hipsters…I guess we are part of that group. Food was terrible. Heavy huge portions devoid of any flavour or originality. Fittingly that it is across from top tourist spots as I would think locals would scoff at this joint. Try krog street market area for good, original food,

If you're in Atlanta you have to try Atlanta breakfast club

By Loi Q |

Awsome southern food the best breakfast in Atlanta area. Amazing staff amazing food right in the heart of Atlanta. They said I have to write at least 100 word but I don't know what else to write except the food is delicious and I. Love southern cooking and I'm from Atlanta.

The wait is 2 hours… THAT’S FINE!!

By carliclouds |

This place never disappoints when it comes to breakfast/ brunch. All the fuss was enjoyed by all. The sweet and savory mix of the chicken and waffles… The Georgia peach French toast…The salmon patties… All were excellent. The two hour wait was no joke, but the food made up for it.

A bit pricey but soooo good!

By Nigel M |

We went there yesterday after having a mooch around the Olympic Park, it’s about an 8 minute walk. The lady at reception could have a bit more smiley, she did warm up in the end, but she took our number and we had about a 20 minute wait. It was a nice spring day, the sun was out and they have a fantastic DJ outside spinning some incredible tunes, which makes the time go really quickly. Once we sat down, our sever was really cool, smiley and friendly. He took us through the specials/secret menu and we opted for the chicken and waffles with peach cobbler gravy. It was truly magnificent. It was an incredibly generous portion and we did well to finish it. In hindsight, we should have probably left some and taken the remainder in a ‘to go’ box. We hardly needed to eat for the rest of the day, after having eaten at about 1.00pm. The one note of caution is the price. In hindsight we should have asked the price of the special. It ended up being nearly $70 for the two of us. Once you added cost of the drinks, including $4 for small carton of water which took us a back a bit, as we were expecting them to provide just regular tap water like most places do, with tip the bill came to about $100 for the two of us. Given that, I’d suggest that TripAdvisor change the cost rating from one $ sign to at least $$. But let me reiterate, whilst we were a bit surprised by the final bill, we came away with big smiles on our faces and our bellies extremely full. We had an amazing experience. We will be back, and we’ll pay more attention to the prices and what we order.

A MUST-DO in Atlanta

By Allison W |

Amazing breakfast!!! We started with the cinnamon bun, and then had the granola bowl and peach cobbler French toast. All items were 10/10… so much food and sooo good. Coffee was delicious and actually really like that the water is bottled. Service was super fast, pricing was reasonable, and staff were SO kind. We will absolutely return when we come back to the city.

Long wait but. Great food and service…

By Misty M |

Long wait (3 1/2 hours) but technically it’s not the location’s fault. The positive is we were at a nearby hotel and were able to get in line on the app and track our place in line while doing some other things. Service and food were great. There was a DJ outside entertaining while waiting. The staff and food were great. Once seated, it didn’t take the food long to come out after ordering. Would visit again.

Love them waffles

By Gerry |

The peachy chicken and waffles are fantastic…enough to feed two people. If you prefer a bold cup of coffe you’re going to be disappointed, as their $4.25/cop offering is an under achiever. And, if you want water, you’ll shell out $4 for a carton, no tap water. I don’t mind loud music, just sent to a Rolling Stones concert the nite before, but this place had their music so loud you had to shout to talk across the table. Parking can be a challenge, and there’s only 1 handicap space out front.

The hype is real!

By Belle B |

The Hype is real! Exceptional and professional waitstaff, hostess and kitchen staff! The food is delicious and thoughtful! Every bit worth the wait! We enjoyed two Southern Breakfasts and a Shrimp and Grits! It was DELICIOUS!

Delicious!

By dhmelin |

Wow! This place is outstanding! Servers are friendly and welcoming, restaurant is clean and inviting, and food is INCREDIBLE! Enjoyed it so much on Tuesday that we ate there again on Wednesday. Loved the southern Benedict, shrimp & grits, salmon croquettes, cinnamon roll (as a breakfast appetizer, LOL!), and chicken & waffles with peach cobbler topping. Perfect spot for anyone visiting downtown Atlanta or living/working in the area. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Fabulous

By cherylpd1 |

In the area for a quick vacation, and local friends brought us here for brunch on a weekday. We were seated promptly, greeted as if we were old friends, and items were recommended. Everyone had something different, everyone absolutely enjoyed their meals. I had the Georgia Peach, and I still think about how delicious it was. (Chicken and waffles with peaches and syrup. Not too sweet at all). If you are in the area, make sure to add this to your must-go meal itinerary.

Great Breakfast!

By Charles V. |

Now hear this. If you are looking for a great breakfast, look no further. This is it! I enjoyed this place so much, I came two days in a row! And what did I sample??? Well, I first selected the Southern Breakfast. It had everything I was looking for ... eggs, bacon, grits, and a biscuit. I am a Northerner and you cannot find grits and biscuits in my neighborhood. So when I get a chance to have some, I'm all over it. And the grits served here were buttery ... and cheesy ... and smooth ... and just delicious! And the biscuit was right there as well ... flaky and buttery... and quickly in my stomach! I was still hungry, so I went for a half order of the French Toast ... and that really hit the spot. And they service it with WARM syrup. YUM!!! So when I came back the next day, I decided to go with ... the same damn thing!!! I mean ... the rest of the menu looked great, but I had to go back with my same order because it was that good! I should also mention, that the service was excellent. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, courteous, and attentive to our needs. Well done! NOTE TO THE BUSINESS OWNERS: Thank you for making the YELP waitlist feature available for your business. It makes it more compelling for travelers, like myself, to visit your business knowing the time commitment involved.

Amazing experience!!!

By Maurice B |

Such an amazing meal this morning!! Our server, China, was awesome as she gave great recommendations of menu items as my wife and I were from out of town. I landed on the French Cobbler French Toast, Pork Bacon and a single Salmon Croquette which was awesome. My wife ordered the Biscuits with Shrimp Gravy. We both had a cup of Hot Chocolate with whipped cream. I recommend this place if you are ever in the Atlanta area!! We will definitely be back!!

Breakfast Heaven

By Barbara A |

Great atmosphere, the food was amazing and our waiter was on point with service and recommendations. Service was fast and efficient.

Pretty average

By Vincent |

The place is extremely loud, so you must be ready for that. Don’t expect a chill breakfast with the fam here. Service was great and attentive. Brewed coffee was surprisingly really good. Didn’t go there for the coffee. The food however I would describe as a more flavorful version of Denny’s. Bring your Lipitor because healthy is not an option here either. Maybe I had the wrong expectations.

Great Food, but Loud and Rushed Environment

By Christina |

This was a fun find on our recent trip to Atlanta. The food was excellent and left us very full. My husband had the southern breakfast and added a cinnamon roll. I had a the green tomato blt. All the food was amazing. Because the restaurant is small it is loud and the waiters are rushing you through ordering and paying for your food. I would still recommend but it’s definitely not a spot if you are going for a weekend, lazy breakfast.

Excellent Food

By clineax |

Peach cobbler French toast is worth any wait you have!!!!! They had a small wait but took us right in. Always a great meal. Great service.

Great Breakfast!

By BQuigley1976 |

Three Things: 1. Prepare to wait (When we got there, there were about 50 people outside; when we left, there were at least 80 people waiting for their names to be called) 2. Worth the wait!!!!!! (Delicious chicken & waffles, pancakes) 3. Gain some weight (We'll worry about that later.) NOTE: It's extremely loud inside. The noise is too much to have a conversation, but it doesn't stop you from chewing and swallowing ;-)

Im coming back

By Raun11 |

Every staff member had a smile and was eager to please. Prompt service, great menu with varying options. Presentation and portions were generous. Very tasty. Great spot by hotels & Aquarium. Breath of fresh air in a busy city. Happy we found you.

Excellent service, great food but expensive.

By amarandi |

Their staff (KG) were excellent. Restaurant was clean, food great. We came this morning at 8:30 so no wait. My son eats here once a month and is not an early riser, so his wait is always somewhere between 20 minutes to an hour. He's said he's never had a bad meal and would eat here more often if it wasn't so expensive. They nickel and dime you. $4.25 for "regular" coffee, we asked for water and had Alkaline Water delivered at $4. My daughter was charged an extra $2, a piece, for Strawberries & blueberries for her Buttermilk pancakes (which could have fitted on a tablespoon). Parking is a challenge. So, would I go again? YES. Especially if I was trying to impress someone, or as a special treat or if someone was trying to impress me and picked up the tab. For 3 people I spent $62.35 - sales tax was 8.9% - $5.55 total $$$67.90 without tip. Shout out to KG for his excellent service!

Best breakfast

By Ted D |

Service was quick and friendly. Food was so good I had to go back a second time on my trip. Everything looked good but went with shrimp and biscuits first time and chicken biscuits with pepper gravy second time. Awesome.

Unusual Experience

By Ronald S |

This place is highly recommended so we were excited to try it. It’s different. First, we were promptly greeted and seated. Water was served in containers versus a glass of ice water. The menu is posted using a QR code. There is no decal coffee. The BLT was served with a salty fried green tomato. No side dishes come with it, and it’s served on two large biscuits. Tasty but very crumbly and a bit messy to eat. It could be shared unless you’re very hungry. Service was fine but it was not five star so we gave it four. Worth trying if you’re in the area.

Amazing chicken and waffles!

By Hooner1 |

Amazing chicken and waffles! Peach French toast also excellent. Huge portions, quick friendly service. Small parking lot out back.

EXCELLENT

By Sharon W |

I came to Atlanta from New Jersey on Friday morning. I was staying at the Springhill Suites Marriott/Bonvoy Hotel which is right next door to this awesome restaurant the Atlanta Breakfast Club. All I can say is delicious and more delicious. That was the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. I am not even a lover of chicken but the way they cook this chicken I had no choice but to fall in love. They also have homemade ice tea which did not disappoint. They staff were very welcoming especially Jada and the lady behind the counter with the blood and black braids sorry I forgot your name. FORGIVE ME. Anyhow you will all see me again.

What a time!

By Eddi S |

From the mimosa outside to the DJ to the breakfast, everything was incredible. The service from Chill Will is worth the wait to get in. I’ve been running restaurants a long time and he is a gem in service industry! Thank you for a memorable time in ATL! I’ll be back!

I had such good envy!

By wren52681 |

First time to Atlanta and decided to stop by the ABC for breakfast. My server “Radio” was very friendly and provided great service. I ended up getting the salmon croquettes with cheesy grits, even after I was recommended the chicken and waffles. Didn’t think I was thy hungry to eat it so I went with the salmon. It was good, not really what I expected, but pretty good. I really wish I had gotten the chicken and waffles or whatever it was that had the gravy and eggs. Mmmmm. I would definitely go back here and actually look forward to it.

Good food near Civ Rights Center

By BaghdadbytheBay |

Great fresh food. The kitchen lost my ticket. I wasn’t in a hurry and didn’t really care but the waiter was very upset about the delay. The coffee is mediocre but I find this to be the norm in Atlanta.

Awesome breakfast/lunch/supper

By Enos |

Awesome experience. Great food, friendly staff. Thanks Niki! Best breakfast I’ve had in years, and we will be back. I wish I could make black pepper gravy like that…!

The best breakfast in Atlanta

By FedeAL_EC |

By far the best breakfast in Atlanta the chicken and waffles great, granola with fruit was great and the peach cobbler French toast out of this world. The service outstanding, highly recommended

Atlanta Breakfast Club - Try it, you won't be disappointed!

By World_Traveler237 |

Just thought I would drop a few lines about Atlanta Breakfast Club. My friends and I got into our Atlanta hotel around 11am. Our rooms were not ready. We asked about a close by restaurant we could still grab a late breakfast, early lunch. The receptionist recommended Atlanta Breakfast Club which happened to be right next door. We took a chance. Boy am I glad we did. The food was great. I knew it was going to be good when we saw a plethora of people waiting outside to get in. I asked if this was the line and a woman said we have already checked in and to go and check in with the hostess. We did that and was told 15-20 minute wait. It was less than 10 minutes. We ordered and it took no time for our food to come out to us. One of my friends had the Southern Breakfast, another had a salad with grilled chicken and I had a breakfast sandwich with home fries. Everything was delicious. I wish I had taken photos. I would recommend to anyone to try Atlantic Breakfast Club if you are in Atlanta. They close at 2pm though. I intend to have breakfast there before I leave.

Delicious biscuits and great service!

By Sue F |

Waitress was super friendly and helpful with guiding us through our order. The chicken biscuits with gravy were incredible. They may be the best I’ve ever had. I did not overly enjoy the coffee but the food was great!!! (Come early if you want a seat-easy walk to the aquarium next door!)

Get UP and get there EARLY!

By Nikzleez |

I tried this based in TA reviews and google searches. Unfortunately they don't accept reservations. We arrived around 8:30 am on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. We planned that out, because I had waiting in line for seating. If you arrive much later, you will have to wait. Service was prompt and food was good. I tried the waffles (with and without the peach cobbler topping)...enjoyed more without (person preference). I also had the southern breakfast with was tasty, but next time I would step it up to something more unique (breakfast tacos or shrimp and grits, etc.) I would absolutely return. They don't officially accommodate separate checks, but will itemize everything in two separate bills, if you tell them what to place where. Seems like a hassle for wait staff.

Amazing eats and entertainment at lunch!

By Chris D |

In a word fabulous! Arrived around 12, waited about 30 min. Great DJ out front to enjoy during your wait. Ordered both entrees per recommendations from the waiter. Fabulous

didn't meet expectations and please inform me if chef overwrites my order

By USABelgie |

Came here with the family and ended up getting the seafood gumbo, belgian waffle, chicken an waffle and several other items. The seafood gumbo came with grits and I asked if I could have it with potatoes or something else than grits. However when it was served to me it was with the grits and was told that the chef didn't feel it appropriate to change the dish. ok, if that's the way you want to go and I can even understand that. But don't inform me about this when you bring my dish. At least inform me about this after I place my order so I can change it.

DISAPPOINTING IN SO MANY WAYS

By Tracy M |

I was in Atlanta on business and my friend lives in Alpharetta, Ga and wanted to go there because she had never been. Our waitress was very nice and we both had the shrimp and grits which we thought was AMAZING and it was! We wanted water and they ONLY serve water in the carton for $4! My tab was $49.17 and I paid by debit card and was charged $61.17. I left a $10 tip in CASH. I didn't realize I was over charged until days later and I had returned with other friends because I raved about the food. Little did I know, new day new service. Waitress was a Debbie Downer and didn't recommend any of the dishes I was interested in trying. Since we were all on business, we needed separate receipts and they said they couldn't do that because it's too much trouble. They need to get people in and out. When we received out food, it was cold and NOT worth the money we spend. One of the people I was with realized her credit card was overcharged by $300. Either these people can't add or they are scammers. Highly disappointed because tap water is offered every where. One swipe of a credit/debit card is all it takes. I always check my account but I'm sure some people don't and several people may have NEVER noticed they were overcharged or charged twice. UNBELIEVABLE.

Can’t believe it!

By Stacy M |

I was on my IPad finishing my coffee after I ate my breakfast and the hostess asked me to leave. She said the waitress only had two tables and she wanted me to leave since I was done eating breakfast. I asked could I finish my coffee? I’m just blown away at her asking mr to leave the restaurant.

Delicious and true Atlanta dishes.

By AshleyS |

Our food was delicious, the service was great and our wait time was less than we were quoted. You can’t beat that. There was always a crowd waiting when we walked by during our trip. We made sure to go early for brunch especially with 5 people in our party. Delicious and true Atlanta dishes.

American breakfast

By Timuçin T |

Good food and perfect saffet. Nice to have been here. Tradtional amerikan breakfast. They convert food, how you like and they are always yes. 😁😁😁

Best breakfast in a long time!

By Lesagr18 |

Amazing food and service. Ask for the “off menu” items. Pricing is perfect for the quality of food and portions too. Will visit again!

Southern Breakfast

By Adv4Me |

Southern breakfast with buttery biscuits and fried chicken. It’s a once in awhile place to eat. Minus one star for serving hot coffee with a plastic straw (microplastic leaching into the coffee?!?)

Expensive. Good but not Great.

By David S |

We had breakfast at the Atlanta Breakfast Club (ABC) 4/6/22. The place is located adjacent to some of Atlanta's top tourist attractions including World of Coke and the Aquarium. The place is simple but clean - diner decor with concrete floors. It is a big place. I had the Peach Cobbler French Toast with bacon and my wife had the Waffles and Chicken. We asked for water and for some reason they brought us bottled water -for which we were charged $4 each (robbery - especially since we did not ask for bottled water). We liked our breakfast but neither one of us thought it was great - outstanding - a must repeat. The cost was HIGH, as in $$$$ ($47 before tip). The portions were generous and we could probably have split a single breakfast and been ok - not full. The service was good and wait person very nice. Would I return to ABC? Probably not. If I wanted a traditional breakfast - which the waitress discouraged us from ordering - no. From what we could see all the drinks are bottled drinks you can buy at a super market but sold and 2.5-3X retail (seriously a rip off). If I am going to spend $50 for breakfast I will go to a elegant or interesting spot - maybe someplace with a view and white table cloths - not a big open and noisy diner. The best breakfast places we have been to have fresh squeezed orange juice, do not serve all their drinks in bottles, and definitely have coffee (our waitress told us their machine was broken (one machine - are you kidding). If you are going to charge $20 for breakfast it needs to be great and/or elegant. When we travel we love to try breakfast spots and have had fantastic experiences like the Taste of Belgium in Cincinnati or Wild Eggs in Louisville. Other than a Ritz in Amelia Island FL we have never paid this price for breakfast. Due to all this I cannot recommend ABC. Sorry!

Overrated!!!

By Nisey |

Stopped in today looking for something different & the place was crowded so that made us excited. Crowded places usually means good food. Was told the wait was going to be between 30-45 mins but I really ended up being a little over an hour. That was fine because we sat outside & was very entertained by the DJ they have out front. Once we finally got seated, I ordered the salmon croquettes w/grits & my husband ordered the peach French toast with a side of shrimp/chicken sausage gravy. My grits were delicious, but the salmon croquettes were HORRIBLE. After 1 bite, I said absolutely not! My husband said his French toast was ok, but the shrimp/chicken sausage gravy was bland. Definitely wasn’t worth the hour wait. The bill was $40. Absolutely insane. The drinks cost more than the food. I paid $5.25 for a 10oz bottle of OJ. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

Atlanta Breakfast Club

By Tracy S |

Our server, Ebony, was the best. The food was amazing. I would come back here again and again. Don’t miss the opportunity for a great meal.

Amazing breakfast experience

By Roxie Shay |

This is a must-do when visiting Atlanta downtown. Tucked in the middle of the block across from the Aquarium, don’t be intimidated by the wait time. ABC is definitely worth the wait! The link in the text will keep you posted on the progress of your table. Say “Yes” to the cinnamon roll. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is quick and super friendly. Our server is the artist in the pictures.

Monday Morning Breakfast

By Derstoh |

It took two days to try to be seated. Never go on weekends. Wait can be more than a hour-half. Came back on Monday morning around 8:30am and was seated. Food was good but not worth the long wait.

Great breakfast, and also fantastic lunch

By John P |

We had a delicious lunch with fantastic service. We tried the chicken & waffles and the chicken & biscuits — both amazing — as well as the burger which came with the best French fries we have ever had. Highly recommend.

good ambiance, great music and food!

By Menorca C |

The wait is worth it. Excellent French toast and breakfast food. Wait staff is friendly and welcoming

Food was great, service was not

By scottbB5371PJ |

Ate here twice and the food was very good. First time had a very friendly young man, just not attentive. Second time had a gal who never bothered to break a smile and seemed like she was there against her will, had no interest in making my dining experience a pleasant one. I'd go back, I'll just hope for better service.

Best Meal!

By IRun2Eat |

Simply put, this was one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. This was our first visit to Atlanta and our boys really wanted to try chicken and waffles. We were not disappointed at all. I highly recommend the southern biscuit with eggs, bacon, sausage, and gravy. The food was top notch and the wait staff was fantastic. There was a great vibe in the restaurant and was a memorable part of our trip.

Great family breakfast spot

By Jrcamp826 |

Excellent breakfast and service. Very accommodating to our family with a toddler, including helping us store our stroller during our meal. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was delicious, too!

My Favorite Breakfast Of My Trip!

By laurajean316 |

Everytime I passed this spot there was a line out the door- which initially deterred me from coming here. But this line is here for a reason. It is that good! I decided to suck it up and try it this time around and am so glad I did. I put my name on the waiting list while we were driving there. We were 16th in line. We parked across the street at the aquarium parking garage, jaywalked across the street and checked in. We waited outside in the shade while the DJ played his tunes. Then our table was ready. In all the whole process was maybe 15-20 minutes max. Wow. Not bad at all! This place is run like a well oiled machine. You scan the menu as you sit, your server comes over promptly. Order. Food comes out quick. You are happy. The end. There are some pretty decadent things on the menu so make this your splurge or cheat meal if you want. If you just want an egg white omelette with toast then I would go somewhere else. This is the place you get the fun stuff...so do just that. I ordered the breakfast tacos that come on a french toast tortilla drizzled with syrup and my boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles with peach compote. We both cleaned our plates. I will definitely be back!

Chicken and Waffles

By robert m |

Chicken and waffles, very good. Would recommend getting the toppings on the waffles. Needed a little more. Great staff, friendly service. Near the Coke museum.

Can’t Make This Up

By Dan R |

If I could give 0 for a rating I would. Came in at 9:00am. Selected this place because it was less than .3 miles from where I was meeting. Informed the server of our time constraint and asked if the kitchen had a delay. She said no. We ordered 3 oatmeal’s and toast. We asked for the bill to pre-pay so we could leave as soon as we were done. Leaving this review at 9:45 after leaving to make our meeting and no we never got the oatmeal. I want to than this place for going the extra mile to live up to every negative stereotype there is agony BOB

Excellent food and service - long wait for a table on a Sunday morning

By Ffion G |

I guess you can tell a great local eating place by the length of the line of people waiting to be seated. The Atlanta Breakfast Club provides a DJ and mimosas to buy for those waiting in the sun for a table. Inside the staff are excellent - the hostess, the wait staff, everyone. Really outstanding experience. Oh, and the food is as good as everyone says....

Unexpected pleasure

By Joanne F |

Stopped in for a quick snack and ordered the Little Peep. The chicken was delicious-moist with a great well seasoned coating. Waffles were light and fluffy. Devonte took very good care of us and gave us homemade sauces to try. Super Experience!

The ABC was “On “Point” Saturday morning

By Jacksonville Joe |

Let me start by saying, get on the wait list through Yelp before you arrive or you could have a 30 minute to an hour wait. I was able to make friend$ with the host and we were seated promptly with great southern hospitality. Everything on the menu looked fantastic. We settled on the fried green tomato BLT, gumbo with grits, and a fresh cinnamon roll for dessert. I highly recommend the ABC for breakfast or lunch. I’ll be back next time for breakfast and look forward to our next visit. This place is legit!

Meh, didn't live up to the hype

By AnnetteMarie332 |

I have literally waited years to visit this restaurant due to the crowds that are typically here. Today was not crowded so we went for my son's birthday. Well, I can tell you that the food was OK. Not spectacular like I had heard and most definitely NOT worth $100 for 3 adults and 1 child!!! The start of the meal should have been the clue when we ordered waters and the server said, "Those will be in bottles, is that OK?". I asked if there was a charge for them and he said it was $4. FOR A FORCED BOTTLE OF WATER?!!! I said for that much, I would take coffee. The coffee tasted so acidic and they only had gross tasting "non-dairy" creamer. I asked for cream but nope. The hostess said she would bring me a little milk and brought me a pint, which I didn't want that much. She said it would be no charge (but guess what was on the bill at the end?!) As stated before, the food was OK. We had french toast (meh). Chicken and waffles, definitely not worth the wait. Biscuit and gravy was sub par. The real slap in the face was when we were paying for the $100 soso breakfast and the automated question about the tip populated on the machine. It offered,in this order, the possible percentages for a tip 32%, 25%, or 20%. Are you kidding me? 32%??!!! The service was good, but in ky lifetime I have NEVER seen such a flamboyant suggestion for a tip. Sheesh. I definitely do not agree that this place should earn a trip advisor award! Honestly, I have had a better experience for less money and more satisfying food at Cracker Barrel.

Great food!

By Marcia L |

The restaurant is near many Atlanta attractions. The shrimp and grits were fabulous! The restaurant was very busy but the service was excellent.

Excellent Food/Loud Setting

By krogersku |

Stopped here for breakfast on vacation with family. Atlanta Breakfast Club typically has a wait. We waited 45 minutes to be seated. The peach cobbler French toast and southern Benedict entrees really stand out. This is the loudest restaurant we have ever experienced. It was impossible to have a conversation at the table. Just be forewarned.

Delicious

By Irina B |

Such a fun vibe with delicious food conveniently located next to the aquarium. We had a 30 minute wait but who cares when you can buy some mimosas and listen to the DJ outside while you wait. Food is delicious! Got the shrimp and grits and pepper gravy topped chicken biscuits. Devine. Only two small complaints... Found out after we ordered there is a secret menu and they only have drinks in cans or bottles... Also coffee is 4.25. Didn't matter... I'd still recommend and go back.

Remember your ear plugs.

By Tim B |

We saw that this restaurant had really good reviews. We were visiting from out of town and didn’t know the area that well. So, we decided to try it out based on the reviews. We went to the restaurant to get a seat and were blown away by how loud the music was. So we never got to try the food. There’s no way we could’ve enjoyed our food with how loud the music was. So we were disappointed.

Cool atmosphere, great food, friendly service. A must try!

By Lindsey O |

We stumbled upon this place this morning trying to find somewhere near the aquarium to eat. We are so glad we did! We were greeted by a DJ (yes on a Monday at 11:15am lol) who was playing outside, entertaining people who were waiting. We waited about 25 minutes but it was SO worth it. Our server was informative & very friendly. He even noticed our table was a little wobbly and fixed it without us having to ask. He made great suggestions from the menu and we ended up ordering the Chicken & Black Pepper Gravy(added scrambled eggs with cheese which was a good move) and the Chicken & Waffles from the “secret menu” which had chicken, waffles, eggs, bacon, cheese and was topped with peach cobbler. Sounds crazy… but was so so good. This is an Atlanta must try for sure! The atmosphere and experience were just as good as the food.

Worth it to wait for a table

By RagsKP94 |

Wow! This was a totally unexpected find. We did an early tour of the World of Coca-Cola. Hungry and looking for something nearby we found this place. On a Tuesday at noon we had to wait 45 minutes for a table. We were so glad we did. Ask about the secret menu items. You'll be happy you did. I had the Dirty Bird and was so happy with the choice. The only drawback is it is a bit pricey for essentially diner food. But it was worth it.

Excellent experience

Let me tell you just how fantastic this place is. The food was so delicous! I had the Chicken and Waffle with the peach sauce and I've not had anything like this before...So good! Our waitress was awesome. I can tell by reviews that this place gets really busy, but we were lucky and had no wait at all. The diversity in this place is so beautiful to see. Just look around and it's all types of people, all together, just enjoying good food and each other. I would most definately return.

Bring your earplugs

By F00lishTraveler |

Very popular breakfast/brunch/lunch spot, so it's always crowded and has dance music pumping through the stereo, so the noise level IS VERY HIGH (and yes, I am YELLING at you so that you can HEAR me). But if you can tolerate that, the food is fantastic. We had breakfast tacos and yogurt with fruit and granola. Tacos are made with tortillas fried like French bread, eggs, cheese, bacon (or other protein choice), all topped with maple syrup - fabulous. Yogurt had plenty of fruit, so very satisfying. Service was excellent, although our server told us his ears ring for days after every shift. Across the street from Georgia Aquarium and Civil Rights Center, so parking can be a problem (we found a space on a side street). Not terribly expensive.

Excessively Priced!

By Jan R |

This was our first visit and we will not be returning! The cost for a basic breakfast for two was $74. Yes, that is for eggs, bacon and biscuits with coffee and OJ. The food was fair. We asked for water and were brought an individual bottle at $6. per person. They do NOT provide a cup of water with ice. Extremely noisy industrial atmosphere. Difficulty parking too! Skip this restaurant!!!!!

100% The Best Brunch Ever!

By Wanderlust3483 |

We waited an hour for brunch and it was so well worth the wait. This place is amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the food…..all just awesome. We tried the peach french toast and the chicken and waffles- both were so delicious I can't find the words to describe it. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area. Get there early or be wiling to wait- it's worth it for sure.

Georgia Peach Chicken and Waffles 🤤

By LNCTC |

Will was our server and was the bomb.com. The food was AMAZING. He provided insightful advice and recommendations. Love the vibe and though it was packed we were able to be seated fairly quick. Food was served quick as well. Right in the heart of downtown nearby all the walkable attractions. Highly recommend

YES YES PLEASE

Very very good food, the wait was 1000% worth it. Staff was great and it was close to the aquarium. Parking in the area is hard but still not awful.

Yummy

Great spot for a breakfast. They, of course, have the standard eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, etc. But don’t miss out on their specialties. I tried the breakfast tacos. A taco shell dipped in French toast batter and fried. Then filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon. A little syrup is drizzled on top. A really yummy flavor. The service is solid.

True ATL Vibes at the Atlanta Breakfast Club

By Christina G |

I found this place on a top brunch list for Atlanta and it has become a favorite spot when I visit Atlanta in the future! The restaurant is in a convenient place as it is across from the Aquarium and the World of Coca Cola, but the parking is limited. The whole atmosphere is just a true ATL vibe, from the music and the weekend DJ to the retro decor just make it a true ATL chill vibe! The food is DELICIOUS!!! The cinnamon roll is 5 star as well their biscuits, fried chicken, in house hot sauce and black pepper gravy! I don't like gravy but this was 5 star, that's says a lot! Shout out to the fabulous hostess Nikki, she takes care of you in record time! Another special shout out to Mina, she is just amazing! She was friendly, wonderful and attentive to us! I went back for a second time because I wanted my mom to be able to experience this ATL weekend vibes, have awesome southern comfort food, and experience Mina's excellent customer service! You have to go here at least once when you go to Atlanta, trust me you will not be disappointed at all! Worth the experience, food and staff!

A bit pricey but a breakfast that is hard to beat. Worthy of a 6.

In my life there are THREE places in the US that I have been that I feel warrant a five. One place is Bensons Sugar Shack in Thornton NH, the Thumbs Up Diner and the Atlanta Breakfast Club. First of all as soon as you enter you feel you are welcome. The staff are funny and are so friendly. The service is amazing. We enjoyed many of the items. I had the cinnamon bun that I think was home made. OMG it was the absolute best ever. My wife got the Peach Cobler French Toast that was so so good. Others had the cinnamon bun PLUS eggs, the pork patties, home fries, toast. My son had the bisquit, gravy and chicken. Everyone was absolutely and completely stuffed. The food was amazing, tasty and hot. It was a bit more than we usually spend for breakfast but in this case it was worth every cent. A really wonderful place with great welcoming staff. I wish there were times we could give a six because this is one of those places.

Decent Eats

By MrFino |

Went here with some friends for breakfast, decent, we weren't wowed. I had an omelette with meat and veggie on the inside eggs flopped over, not the way I'd preferred. I think this place is a little overated.

Best French Toast Ever

By Jen G |

Believe all the great reviews! I had the peach cobbler french toast - it was so good, the vanilla butter, peaches + crunchy crumbles were perfect. My boyfriend got the breakfast tacos - tortillas with the french toast treatment might sound a bit odd, but they were delicious. Service was so friendly. A fantastic breakfast.

Watch out for extra charges! Everything is extra.

We went here midday on a Tuesday. There wasn’t much of a crowd, but there was still a 10 minute wait. The hostess took the number in our party, but not our name, and told us to wait outside. After waiting more than 10 minutes and seeing others get seated before us, we asked the hostess. She had forgotten about us since we weren’t on the list. She insisted she just checked to put us on the list, but we, along with two other parties, didn’t get on the list. The menu is only online. They do not have tap water (due to COVID, but I don’t understand why the can’t wash glasses) only overpriced drinks. $4 for a bottle of water, $5.25 for a bottle of Simply Lemonade, etc. Music is way too loud and it’s heard to hear to waitress. Food was ok. Kids had waffles, husband and mother in law had chicken sandwiches and I had an breakfast sandwich with a side of potatoes. We were surprised when the bill came and they charged extra for cheese ($1.50) veggie sausage ($5) and gravy ($3.50) on my breakfast sandwich. It tripled the cost of the sandwich. The description makes it seem like at least the sausage and cheese is included in the price. We thought we ordered a single sandwich for my MIL and double sandwich for my husband (the a la carte chicken sandwich vs the crispy chicken sandwich entree) but we’re charge for a double sandwich for both. We even told them when the food arrived that we only wanted the single, but we told that it only came in a double. We spoke to the manager and he didn’t seem to understand the issue. He offered 10% off our meal. Hopefully, he also updates the menu to avoid confusion. I do not recommend and will not return.

Overpriced Bland Brunch with 2+ hr wait time

By Danielle N |

This place is overpriced and overrated. My husband and I brought our family to ABC for brunch after reading the reviews. We were told that our wait time would be one hour but it ended up being closer to two hours. The food was extremely bland and the breakfast potatoes were undercooked. We all ordered the chicken and waffles and the waffles were tasteless and didn’t even come with butter. One cup of coffee was $8 and it was okay at best. For a party of four, our bill came up to $130. I was not impressed and will never come back. The food was definitely not worth the two hour wait time and the money.

Step on it, Adam!

By That Hollow Guy |

I asked the Uber driver if he'd ever been. He said, "No, it always looks so busy." I said, "That's all I need to hear, Adam. Just punch it, baby!" The minute you walk in, it's like you stumbled into a Happy Hour at TGIF, but in a good way. Got seated so quick, it made my head spin. The craic was deafening and we rushed to the table as if our first born was about to recite the Gettysburg Address at the kindergarten graduation ceremony and we were going to miss it! 17.6 seconds later, Darian sprinted over and gave us the best server intro I've seen in the last decade. "Folks, sit back, relax, I've got you covered and I know it all." I might as well have handed this fine young man my wallet. After getting our drink order, he said, "Just so you know, we make our cinnamon rolls in house and a batch just came out. How many we doing?" I said, "Darian, I love your passion. Make it two." Wham jam, Bob's your uncle, we all went a little different direction. Mama got the breakfast bowl, like the old soul that she is. The girls got the Chicken and Waffles and the French Toast, while Big Papa went for the niche Salmon Croquettes with fried potatoes. I'm not sure what the resolution on their crystal ball was, but I went to wash my hands and the food was on the table before I returned. Stunning. Needless to say, the only thing that disappointed me was the knowledge that the next time I'm in the town that Tecumseh put to the torch, I'm going to have one less surprise, because I simply have to go back. It's not a choice, anymore. It's a way of life. Oh, and did I mention the hostess? I don't know where they found that gorgeous creature, but she needs to be cloned. Wanted to buy a little hot sauce for the road. She didn't even let me pick! We walked over and she just grabbed a bottle of magic and I said, "This is the one, huh?" Without missing a beat, she said, "Honey, that's the one." A heart emoji flew out my left ear, I laughed so hard. Just go and tell Adam to step on it...

Nickel and Dimed for Mid-food

By Daniel S |

If I could give a zero, I would. Food—fair…but not special. I had breakfast tacos, daughter had pancakes, wife had eggs and grits and biscuit. Food not the issue however. Service, attitude, price, and conditions, were. You are nickel and dimed on EVERYTHING. A dollar is charged if you (god forbid) want a Pat of butter for your biscuit. You want a sprinkling of cheese on your grits? $1.50. You an order a water? No tap offered, here is a $4 box of water. Salt and pepper? Napkins? Nope, nope and nope. You are forced to ask for them and what do you get for sugar and cream for the decidedly mid-coffee?? Sugar packets picked up for free seemingly from McDonald’s in a tiny plastic fake cream thing from a gas station. This very small meal was almost $75 and they have the gall to then default the “tip” to 27% force you to manually enter anything less than 20%. Oh, and did I mention that within 30 seconds of finishing our food but not our coffee—for near $100 all in you’d think you’d be allowed to actually enjoy your average tasting coffee in peace—we were informed that we had to leave because they needed to seat others. This place is horrid. It is filled with hipsters thinking they are eating something “authentic” and for that reason are seemingly willing to put up with ungodly prices, average quality, terrible service, and charges for items that are gratis at any respectable establishment in the Western world.

Great breakfast

By shannon c |

I would highly recommend this place. The food was perfect. Quantity is huge. It was a big plate. Me and my husband could’ve shared orange juice. Fresh squeeze was delicious.

Every dish is delicious- share

By leigha142019 |

Wow Lots of delicious food. Truly a southern breakfast. There where 4 of us. I got there late and the other 3 had already ordered. Biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits. I was so lucky because I got some of everyone’s. And they where all very Tasty.

This place is a must!

By Dana S |

If you are in Atlanta, you must have brunch here! The food was amazing and there is such a great vibe! The Georgia peach French toast was the best I’ve ever had. My family enjoyed the chicken and waffles as well as chicken and gravy biscuit, creamy grits, and the Georgia peach chicken and waffles. Don’t miss this spot

Delicious breakfast

By awookk |

I visited for the first time with my lady friend. This was our first meeting at this restaurant. Great establishment and atmosphere. I got the chicken and waffles peach 🍑 cobbler style. I enjoyed my dish. My friend got a salmon croquet and a biscuit and potatoes. Good time is 8:00 am before the crowd. First time I will definitely be back.

Georgia Peach! 10/10

By iamjujubites |

Tried this place and it was great! Fair warning, get there early and be prepared to wait. The place was packed! The waitlist goes fairly quickly but there will be a wait. Our waiter was everything, so nice and so Atlanta lol. We had the Dirty Bird, Georgia Peach, and tried the shrimp and grits. Everything came out pipping hot. A pretty good meal for the price.

Ok… but not great

By Dymediva |

We joined the waitlist at 9:30 am and were finally seated at 1:10. They did have a DJ out front and a food truck that had mimosas for sale. I ordered the peach chicken and waffles and it was good. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. My husband ordered the salmon croquettes and boy was that a mistake. I don’t know who taught this place how to make salmon croquette but it was TERRIBLE! Literally barely edible. I’m from the south and this is not how we cook salmon patties. I also didn’t like the fact that you pay a high price for a drink and they give you a bottled drink that’s not even 16 ounces with no refills for $5 highway robbery! Overall I did enjoy the chicken and waffles but I wouldn’t go back, the food just wasn’t worth it

Food and vibes 🔥🔥

By Stephanie |

My husband and I absolutely loved having breakfast here to start our day. Service was excellent, staff was incredibly welcoming, and food was amazing. We got the P Biscuit and shared the dish and was plenty of food for the both of us. Will most definitely come back when we’re in town again.

Excellent Breakfast!!

By SJMLD |

My family and I stayed within walking distance so it was the perfect location in the touristy side of town. We started by ordering the cinnamon roll to share, which was great! Our breakfast consisted of the peach cobbler French toast, chicken and waffles, and the fried green tomato BLT. Everything we ordered was fantastic!! Honestly the best breakfast in the area!! The environment and the staff was lively. The service here is excellent. The staff all had a smile on their face. What a great way to start the day!!! 100 percent recommend!!

Excellent family breakfast

By mary |

Excellent food. We had a 45 minute wait and it was worth the wait. Everything we ordered was excellent. Fried green tomatoes were the best I’ve ever had! Chicken and waffles were perfect. Breakfast sandwich special of the days was exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend.

Best breakfast almost anywhere

By Martin N |

Delicious food and large portions, the staff was excellent and attentive. Management definitely excels here seems like a team environment. I will be back whenever I am in Atlanta.

Best breakfast around!!!

By Melissa L |

Excellent food and excellent service! Very lively diner type eatery. If you don’t like noise this wouldn’t be the place for you. But you would be missing out on some of the best breakfast. Biscuits are so die for, grits are amazing and the fried green tomatoes 😋

Complacent dinner

By MootHouse |

Breakfast is highly rated here. Sadly, I do not agree. At a cost of £$50 plus tip for 2, I expect good food, well presented, and not to feel hungry afterwards. The menu could be clearer on the options. I had the Southern breakfast with, I thought, sausage and bacon, but these were alternative choices. Ok. My plate arrived without the wheat toast. I reported this to two different servers, both forgot. Lexi the manager asked if it was OK. I said no, as my eggs were now cold, no toast. She was great, dealt with it immediately, no fuss. However, overall, even if the order was correctly supplied, the portion is small. No salt, pepper or other condiments were around. Coffee was not refilled. No fresh milk or cream. No complimentary water. No juices listed on the menu. Sorry to say, I have had many breakfasts in USA, this was not nearly as good as most. I think they are over rated.

Oh So Good!

By Crystal C |

I had a great experience. The staff was great and very helpful. My waiter recommended the Chicken and waffles peach cobbler style. It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Literally.

Liked the food, but not beverage situation

By Stacie H |

I had shrimp and grits with fried shrimp. I was charged $2 extra for the shrimp. I was offered fried or grilled, but not told there was a charge, so not sure if I choose grilled whether there would be a charge. (Which would make NO sense because without shrimp there is no shrimp and grits). The flavor was excellent. Hubby had peach French toast which he really liked. What I DID NOT like was that I couldn't get any drink other than coffee or tea that wasn't in a single-use plastic bottle (including water). Not cool. If you have the capacity to wash dishes and mugs, you can wash a cup and help us save the planet.

Definite good choice

By Bud S |

What an unassuming gem to stumble upon! Really good food, excellent housemade hot sauce, and our server was top-notch. This is definitely not just the next diner – – worth coming. Make sure you get here in time to beat the crowd. On site parking and close by public lots which is a huge deal in downtown Atlanta.
