We decide to eat here recently after flying into the airport and before picking up our rental car. Were all very glad that we did, too! Our server, Krystal, was efficient, friendly and very helpful with directions as we were leaving. The restaurant is quite large and nicely appointed. The bathrooms were very nice and very clean. I ordered one of my all-time favorites, Chicken Piccata, and it was fantastic! It came with a creamy lemony sauce that also included artichoke hearts and capers. A side of cheesy mashed potatoes complimented the dish very well. Just remembering it has me pining for that very same dish again. I wonder if they deliver to New Mexico? Their iced tea was also great. Our 22 y/o daughter had their onion soup and salad. My husband had the Ahi Tuna. Both were very happy with their meals.

As a rule I do not eat in hotels and airports..but every now and again you need to break the rules...the salads were very good, the fish and chips were good, and the chicken picatta was excellent..

I had the chop chop salad and while the turkey is a processed meat, not oven roasted in house, it's a decent salad and my server Xavier was excellently professional.

If you want a relaxed, nice meal in the midst of the busy Atlanta airport, we recommend this restaurant. Atmosphere is so nice and the service was great. The pretzel appetizer was AWESOME!!

It's not a good thing when you write a negative review while sitting in the restaurant. I've walked by this place dozens of times and finally stopped in for an early lunch. Wish I hadn't. Ultra slow service and the food was cold. Maybe it's no management on site, but it seems like the staff is too busy chatting to pay attention to us customers.

Flew in and had the best service from Winsome. She really took care of us and we are not easy people. Very good food also. Before flying out ate at the bar and again had excellent service from Andy but the kitchen totally switched up our burger orders leaving us both unhappy.

The host disappears and people stand around waiting to be seated. A customer is asking anyone within hearing distance to please cash him out - he needs to catch his flight. Ten minutes later he is still waiting. I ordered a $35 filet and it was marginal. Like what I would expect from TGI Friday’s. The Au Ju tastes like it came from a powder. Really bad experience. They have this button you push for service. But I don’t think it works!

Big mistake to choose Atlanta Chop House as a dining option. Thank goodness we, unlike some patrons, were not in a hurry. The service is abysmal to non-existent. The filet was tiny. I didn't want the potato or rice which came as a side for the chicken and was informed that a vegetable would come at the full price. Annoying, as the vegetables were priced only about $1 more then the rice. We would absolutely not return and strongly discourage anyone from eating here.

Looking for somewhere to eat after a really long day before heading to the hotel, nice looking restaurant, relatively attentive service, this was an ok choice. Onion rings are amazing, very large and perfectly cooked. Calamari comes tender, a little too much batter but not distasteful, but the dipping sauce is superb. However, considering the prices, was really disappointed in the steaks. Paid the extra price for the gorgonzola preparation, got no more than a teaspoonful of gorgonzola in the sauce and was not very flavorful at that. Steak was tough, not terribly flavorful and really could have benefitted from the gorgonzola! Service and appetizers were definitely best part of the visit.

My husband and I stopped in Atlanta Chop House after arriving at ATL after 9:00 PM. Since we were not sure if there would be late night dining available near our hotel we thought we would grab dinner at the airport before we left. I travel in and out of ATL frequently, had noticed this restaurant, and thought it looked nice. I went into the restaurant at about 9:45 to ask if they were still serving. The server said yes but that the kitchen staff left at 10:00 PM and encouraged us to make our selections quickly. We ordered hurriedly and were served drinks. Our food was served about 25 minutes later. It appeared that it had been prepared for some time and left to sit under a warming lamp. The vegetables did not seem fresh and our orders were not correct. This restaurant does not have much competition as it is one of the only sit down restaurants outside of security in this terminal. My recommendation - if you are flying out of ATL wait until you get through security and have many choices. If you are outside security wait until you are off airport property and find some place to dine.

We really enjoyed the bratwurst and prime rib sandwiches! The local beer we had on tap was excellent too!

This is our go- to place at the Atlanta airport. We often take a 3 pm flight and arrive early so we can have lunch here. The food is very good. My husband and I split a 12 ounce strip steak which was the perfect portions for lunch. They have a nice selection of salads and sandwiches, too. We had the side size chopped and Caesar, both were excellent. Our steak arrived hot and cooked as ordered, the baked potato was large enough to split. Steak came with a huge and delicious onion ring and a bit of gravy tasting sauce. Service prompt and efficient and they have a button on the table to use when you are ready to pay.

I regret that I ever doubted my brother when he told me that he had found the best prime rib sandwich ever here. On my first visit, I could not put the sandwich down because it was so delicious! I like the upstairs dining room where it's not as noisy as downstairs. They did not get a perfect score for two reasons: 1) It's pricey - best time to eat here is when you're on business travel and the company pays and 2) Slow service. My server was fairly quick to approach me to get my drinks and order, and delivered the food quickly. However, it took forever to get my check.

Leaving Atlanta after a great Labor Day weekend, decided to grab some lunch before catching our return flight home. Sunday and just opening, service was somewhat slow. Alcohol not being allowed to be served for another hour, we ordered teas and perused the menu. Menu was varied with many choices. Our choices ranged from the chicken tenders, a hamburger, chicken piccata and club sandwich. You know what! We were served really good food that surprised us all. If ever in Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport at Terminal N, check it out!

We got to the game early enough to enjoy lunch at the Chop House overlooking the amazing new Suntrust stadium. The atmosphere is so exciting as everyone is excited to see their Braves play..I had the chop house bacon cheeseburger, no bun, no fries, and a blue moon, she has the chicken sandwich with no bun no fries and a blue moon..we got a bag of peanuts for the game and the total was $60..this is a little pricey, but again you can watch the game from where you sit, so it’s totally worth it. Beer prices are not that much different, you can expect to pay around $10-12 per beer inside the stadium. Service was prompt and friendly and it made our experience there more enjoyable!! I can’t wait to return for another Braves game!!

I arrived at the airport four hours early and wanted to eat where I could watch NCAA basketball games. Well, to my surprise, I had a first. They have five TV's. Through very, very poor design, all five TV's have to be on the same channel (game). Of course when you walk in, a group of people were already watching a game. It was not the one that I wanted. Needless to say I did not have dinner here.

In the airport before you go through the security lines is Atlanta Chophouse. I met someone who had a layover in ATL for dinner. The wine selection was good although city restaurant pricey but that is to be expected at the airport. There is quite a selection of appetizers, sandwiches, dinners and steaks/prime rib. The wine selection was very good as were the beer options. The service was good and the food very good. If I was in a position to meet someone for non-chain quick food in the future, I would certainly return.

Had lunch at the airport at ATL. Great place for grills and salads. The Salmon Caesar Salad was brilliant. May be the best place to eat at the airport.

I was in need of some quality food while traveling through the Atlanta airport. I looked at all of the fast food options and then was pleased to notice an upscale type restaurant. Upon entering it went south from here. The hostess was very unprofessional and grunted something that was indecipherable, and motioned me to follow her. She stuck me in an elevator and just pushed the button without any idea of what to expect. I exited and was seated at some very cheap plastic tables and chairs. It took about 8-10 minutes before a waiter even asked what I wanted or acknowledged me at all. And they were not even busy. It took awhile to explain to the waiter that all I wanted was a plain salad and dry potato with my steak. Here again all i ordered was a glass of water to drink. Obviously they have a water shortage because it took for ever to get this and then it was never refilled. Eventually, once again after a long wait a plate of lettuce showed up. I had asked for vinegar and oil and of course nothing. Finally after flagging someone down 3-5 minutes later I was able to get some. My entree showed up timed about right after my lettuce. The steak was tasty but cold. The potato (baked) was cold too. I have eaten at other upscale restaurants in airports before but this may be the worst yet. I would not recommend wasting your money or time here.

I was in the Atlanta airport and had a dizzy spell right before I got to the Chop House and stopped there to sit a minute, hoping it would pass, which it did. The chair I sat in was in the entry , not at a table, a waiting seat. Two seconds after I sat down a waitress came and asked if I needed a table. My husband told her I was having a problem and would be just a minute. She said I could not be there if I didn’t order something...he asked for the manager...after a minute or two I was better and moved on. I do not support businesses who employ people who do not have feelings so I will steer clear of the Chop House and any business they are associated with! Bad people!!!

Had some time before my flight so stopped in for some drinks and a quick meal. The space itself is relatively nice to spend a little bit of time in and the food options, while limited, are decent for airport fare. The real downfall here is the subpar, disinterested service. I sat down for a drink at the half empty bar and it took roughly 10 minutes to get an adult beverage and a menu. Placing my order and getting another drink took a fair amount of time and effort. If this place buttons up it's service, it would certainly be welcome and certainly would justify the relatively high menu prices.

We tried the crab risotto fritters, shaved prime rib sandwich and bacon burger. Also try the GA Peach martini. The food was really tasty and Xavier was a fantastic server but unfortunately restaurant operations were slow/poor. Once greeted, we were pointed to the elevator to the upstairs seating but no one was there to seat us. Food was VERY slow on delivery. If you need to make a flight, this isn't the spot.

Waited over 45 minutes for a steak salad. Waitress was never around and manager did not know what was happening. Too many options for meals and probably won't be back unless I have a few hours to kill. Not to mention I paid $35 for a salad and a beer.......

Arrived after delayed flight before heading to hotel. Even though they would be closing shortly staff was eager to take care of us. Excellent waitress name Rita. Very friendly and took care of us. Food was great.

For an airport restaurant, they did not appear at all to be concerned about time. it took almost 10 minutes after being seated for a server to stop by my table. The restaurant was not even half full. A simple Rueben and mashed potatoes took 20 minutes, and never once did anyone ask about the time I had before my flight. Then it took 15 minutes to get my check and get everything processed. The food was ok. Nothing near the quality of the original Atlanta Chop House. I guess they are not concerned about reputation. .. they will continue to draw customers on their name. I will not eat here on my next trip to Atlanta.

Wow! All was fantastic at the Atlanta Chophouse. Cici our waitress was friendly and efficient. The salmon orange buerre Blanc was fantastic as were the mashed potatoes served with it. My shaved prime rib was very good. I wish it was bigger. The onion rings were good too. We were out in plenty of time to make our flight.

Had some time before our flight so my wife and I and our young kid went here. Very friendly and decent food but pretty pricey for what you get. Kinda small portions and just okay food

February 2022 - needed to kill some time awaiting international checkin. This restaurant is in the pre-security area of the main terminal at ATL. Good for us as we had luggage to recheck in international terminal (15 minute bus ride away) but had to wait for checkin counter to open, and nothing pre security is open in that terminal. This place still had social distanced tables and plenty of room to park the luggage, unlike the nearby TGIF which had tables jammed together so we bypassed it and found this gem. Super friendly service, decent (for an airport) prices, chicken tenders and fries snack with beer and wine $35USD. Pleasantly surprised as we normally bypass airport eateries and nosh/drink at the airport club lounges but couldn't access inter terminal until checkin counter opened, so this was a nice alternative.

Had a 3 hour layover and it was a good thing. The positives were that the local beer on tap was extremely good and the chicken finger appetizer was hot and delicious. The service on the other hand was courteous but too slow. Probably wouldn't go back unless I just sat at the bar and avoided the wait staff. This is an airport...people have places to go!

The bar tender was super rude and I regret going here. It took her 30min to make 2 cocktails for me and my friend. She didn’t serve us anything after that and finally after an hour and a half of trying to get her she finally gave us our check. She was swearing and acting like she owned the place.

We had delicious burgers on our way out of the airport. Service was good. Meal was good. Prices were high. I would not recommend the mashed potatoes as a side. Not a lot of flavor. This is a great restaurant if you want to meet someone and not clear TSA.

I met my family last night and this was a pretty good meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and pleasant. Our server was really nice. The food was good not great. For an airport it is a decent place to eat if you want to avoid food court.

Food was actually very tasty which really helped. The service was so slow and so bad it was hard to believe. We will not be going back to this place!

You would think an airport restaurant would be prompt with service, but not so here. After being seated I waited 15 minutes - no server appeared so I asked busboy to track her down. Food came about 20 minutes later, but the party at the table next to me had waited an hour for one salad. Waited for the check but finally had to track down a manager to pay my bill. I won't return which is too bad because there are few decent dining options at this terminal.

Ordered Ahi Tuna. It was AWFUL, smelled like it was 3 years old, and very tough! Wife ordered turkey burger. They just cut an avocado in half and threw it on there, and they forgot the Anaheim peppers. All the staff seem very lazy and careless.

No complaints everything was wonderful! Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. The staff and food were top notch.

Have found myself in ATL with a long wait for a flight several times. I typically head for this comfortable restaurant. Whether you sit at the bar, as I did on this visit, or dine at a table with a group, the waitstaff is cheerful and helpful and the food is satisfying. Above average wine list make this this place a fine airport dining experience.

We meet our daughter and her family at the airport since they had a four hours layover and looked for a good place to have a late lunch before their next flight. We selected the Chop House since its offering looked appealing and like a comfortable place to relax with our family and enjoy a meal. Off the four entrees ordered, one was acceptable; 1) Our granddaughter’s sandwich (turkey was acceptable, but the bed was hard as a rock), 2) of all things, my wife’s salmon was over salted, 3) my steak and cheese sandwich (ordered with iceberg lettuce in place of the arugula and no sweet onions) came with arugula and half of it looking like someone had taken it all apart, and 4) my daughter’s steak and cheese was good, except they forgot her au jus. Our server, Tra’lish, was pleasant enough, but you had to keep pressing the button on the table (5-6 times) to get her to come to the table to address the problems with the food and deliver additional drinks. When I pointed out to our server that my sandwich came with arugula instead of the iceberg lettuce, her response was, “Is that a problem, are you allergic to it?”. Bottom-line, I would not recommend the Chop House at the Atlanta airport for their food and service. We also noted that both the ladies and men’s restrooms were filthy with paper scattered all over the floors.

I arrived at the airport in Atlanta. Hungry and tired. This place offered me a great dining experience. Hostess was prompt searing me. My server introduced himself. No many people do it anymore. Manu is easy to read and sufficient choices. Food is great and pieces good for airport prices.

I never thought that I would write a positive review about an airport restaurant, but this one is an exception. We visited yesterday and it was Christmas, so it wasn't very crowded. The service was good, and they have an electronic system at the table that you can push some buttons to get service, get your bill etc. In fact it worked so well that when I pushed the button for a bill, it came within 30 seconds! What was so good about the place was the food. The chicken tenders were the best that I ever had anywhere. they were like homemade and had a great light batter. The hamburger was like home made. It was very tasty and cooked to perfection. It came with a side and we chose the cheese mashed potatoes which also were outstanding. The house merlot was very good for the price, considering that most airport restaurants gouge you on wine prices. Overall it was a very good experience and I would recommend anyone who has time at the Atlanta Airport to try it.

Wanted a nice dinner which is usually impossible in an airport - and this was it. Nice decor, quiet, great menu and good service.

I have been to the Chop House in the Atlanta Airport numerous times. It is an excellent alternative to the food court. Each meal has been well prepared and nicely presented. The Chop Chop salad is a favorite of mine. The cost is a little pricey so be prepared going in. Unfortunately, the staff is hit or miss. I don't think the hostess has ever greeted us or cracked a smile. There is usually a wait for a table so a more personable hostess would be welcome. Our most recent meal, the server was also without wit or smile. She did her job and nothing more. I am a generous tipper but for the first time in many years I gave her the expected 15% and nothing more. Don't expect a warm greeting, hope for a good server (they do have some) but do expect a good meal.

If you are traveling through ATL and desire more than fast food this could be a good choice. A word of caution, the front greeters are not very welcoming. The wait staff are fair to average but not much better. The is very good and the selection is good with something for everyone.

We went to the airport to drop off our son for a flight home after a week-long visit. Wanting to spend a little more time with him we decided to have lunch at the airport with him. We just happened on this place. It was great food, great service, and very affordable considering we were in an airport. Whatever you do, make sure to try some of their onion rings! They are huge and very good.

I ate here while traveling through on business. The food is really fantastic, it's a great steak house compared to most other large city steak houses. The fact that it's in an airport is even more amazing. Everyone was friendly, the only negative was that our waiter tried to automatically add a 25% tip to our bill. We almost signed and added another 20% for tip until we realized what he did. We asked another person about the error, it turns out that 2nd opinion was a manager who apologized. The waiter came back and sheepishly claimed it was "an error". It was pretty clear it was a nice way to get a double tip from travelers who are eager to just pay the bill and move on. I would eat here again, I'd just check to receipt before paying.

Thick and juicy Reuben with a side of slaw and ice tea was the perfect lunch! I guarantee you won’t find a better Reuben at an airport.

This is near the rotunda in Hartsfield Airport, so had a business lunch there. The manager greeted us, and was quite knowledgeable about their menu, and how it stacked comparatively (I believe she was from Louisiana). I had a very tasty salmon dish and a nice desert. A great option for an airport location. I will say, we had advanced reservations, but this place was tough to find based on the gps. The restaurant didn't answer their phone over a 30 minute period, and we were given wrong directions by airport employees about 4 times.

Had to wait in the Main Terminal (exit and baggage claim) for a colleague to arrive. Decided to have lunch. Spacious, and clean. But I had an extensive wait for the server to arrive after being seated. The food however was good. I had the Reuben and a baked potato. Tried to get my soda refilled and again waited quite a while to get service. Overall, if you're not in a rush, it's a good choice.

I was in airport early for afternoon flight and was hoping to find some acceptable food before going through security. This restaurant was a jewel. I had a great salad that was huge and had really special additions, including fresh blueberries. Service was good, quiet, pleasant room. I can't remember having such good healthy food in an airport.

I took my son to the airport to catch a flight to DC and we decided to have lunch at the Atlanta Chop House. My husband and I ordered burgers and my son ordered the grilled chicken salad hold the blue cheese crumbles. We waited a considerable amount of time before the food arrived and instantly there was a problem. Blue cheese crumbles were all over the salad. Because of his flight time, I swapped my burger with him. When the waitress came to check on us I told her of the mistake. The manager was there behind her and offered to replace the salad. I explained that replacement wasn't an option because I had swapped plates with him and we didn't have time to wait another 30 minutes for a burger. When the bill came, instead of taking off the salad she had simply discounted it 15%. I wouldn't go here again. The prices were very high ($3 sodas and $15 burgers), the wait was long and the service wasn't anything to brag about. Next time, I will walk across the hallway to the IHOP and order a burger for half the price.

Food was not bad, but service was so so so slow! Over an hour to get 3 sandwiches and the check. Not what you need in an airport!

I am giving it a 3 star to this place because the food was good and we were allowed to share a Reuben that came already in two plates with respective sidings. The server was very helpful and nice. Pleasant atmosphere, clean restrooms. However, they have a deceptive practice: the price of beer is not on the menu and if you don't ask ahead of time, you will end up paying dearly for it. A glass of wine cost us $8 and the 14 oz domestic draft beer cost $9.79. So, my advice is ASK the price of beer before you order it!

Had a great lunch at the Atlanta chip house, in the airport atrium. Our friend was passing through on her way back to Europe and we meet at the chop house. The service was great, I my hubby and I ordered the Reuben based on the reviews I read, and it did not disappoint. It was really good, we also had the calamari, a little too much bread but tasty, nonetheless, our friend had the crab bisque and was very impressed. The wine selection is good, but be prepared to pay 3x its value outside of the airport. The food price was ok.
Chicken Piccata - Outstanding
I don't usually get excited over chicken dishes. Chicken is just a healthy staple food for me. However, the Chicken Piccata with White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes was amazing. The chicken was moist and the potatoes were the perfect compliment. I highly recommend this dish at the Atlanta Chop House airport location.
