Great staff and food

By patraveller2007 |

The food at the Aviation Grill is very good. Fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend the wings, plump and flavorful. Burgers and sandwiches are large and well made and come with choice of salad or fries. Staff is excellent, friendly and efficient. Booths are nicely distanced.

It is nwhat bit is supposed to be...and it does itnwell

By Steve B |

The Grill is a good restaurant at an airport hotel. It has an inviting appearance, the menu is not crowded with hundreds of selections and yet it does what it is supposed to do. It has a sufficiently broad area of selections which are nicely prepared and served by good professionals. This is not a date night s[ot unless you are leaving on a trip the next morning. If you are leaving on that trip the next day this is the place to go! I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past few months and have had several meals at the Grill. They do a good job!

Good for a quick meal

By Kathy I |

We ate here while staying at the Marriott for an early AM flight from PHL. Excellent service and the food was actually very good. The restrauant itself could use an update but overall not a bad place.

Not worth it

By Pamela P |

Ordered a $6 glass of wine and French onion soup. There were only two prices for the wine on the menu, one price for a glass and one price for a bottle. I ordered the cheapest & when the bill came the price was double. After questioning the waitress she said she gave me a bigger glass bc the one on the menu was too small. That is not what I ordered and wasn't made clear to me. The soup was 75% rubbery melted cheese that looked like the leftovers from someone liposuction. I will never go here again. I got ripped off. Lesson learned but they have you in a bind bc where else would you go?

Overpriced

By Don N |

I expected prices to be a little higher. But what I paid for a bacon cheeseburger one night ($17), and quesedillas the next ($15) was a bit extreme. At least you got a side with the burger, but wirh the quesedillas, there were no options. Drink prices were where they should have been, but the food prices were ridiculous. Food was good, but not worth the price. Bartenders were also very good.

Excellent!

Excellent breakfast. Worth the $$. Shout out to our waiter Michael. My son's birthday is today and Michael brought his pancakes with a birthday candle šŸ•Æ šŸ˜

An Excellent Place to Enjoy A Quiet Evening Meal

By Worldsvet |

We had an early evening meal so that we could turn in early for our early morning flight. The French onion soup was full flavored and their signature dish, the scallops were perfect. The service was flawless and the Yueling beer on tap was cold and refreshing.

Stimulating Bar Atmosphere

By Robyn M |

While waiting for a ride at the Philly airport, not too many options for food & beverage. The bartenders at Marriott's were fantastic at holding court and keeping conversations lively. Great recommendations for places to go & things to do. Go there...

Drive and find somewhere, anywhere else

By Erethel |

Wow, this is a really poor restaurant! I mean, stay away or drive someplace close to the airport. Really awful food, I had the Caesar salad with salmon, and the salmon was as dry as a bone. We had dessert, and the ice cream and cookies were literally out of a package from a store (or something). It was so, so bad…..

Good people...good food

By smalltowntravelerPa |

I arrived shortly after the restaurant had closed for the day and they accommodated my tired and hungry body! The sandwich that was provided was large and very well made. It had lots of french fries and a very good dill! The staff can often make a restaurant and in this case they got things off to a great start and the food was a "topper"

Night before early flight

By afojc |

An over night stay for an early fight lead us to the Aviation grill, the menu may not be as big as some places but what they had was cooked well, tasted delicious and was served with a smile. Great place to get a bite while waiting for your flight or just getting in. Prices comparable with the area.

Over priced for food

By vegasrugbyref |

My guest visit. Service was slow. Good atmosphere for social. Food took too long to be served. Burger overcooked. Located inside Marriott. Paid separately. Food definitely overpriced for quality.

Lots of options and happy to serve staff

By Femexecmom |

Menu had options for all kinds of eaters and service was friendly and efficient. We had burgers, salads, sandwiches, fish and chips and all were fresh and delicious.

Adequate but Expensive Food, Good Service.

By BBVeniceFL |

The only reason to eat here is if you are staying at the Marriott or want to escape the airport. The food is pricey for what it is. It’s mostly bar food, with nothing that really stands out as special. The preparation is average. The only thing that stands out here is the friendly staff.

Decent. Expensive.

By dreamer8313 |

This is the restaurant inside the Philadelphia Airport Marriott, so I expected it to be expensive. Their breakfast menu is very straightforward and I was glad to see they have an egg while only omelette. It was an expensive breakfast, but at least the flavor was good. Service was quicker than I expected.

Decent hotel restaurant

By TeacherEating |

My friend said it was better than she expected; I thought it wasn’t as nice but that could be bc I was comparing to a higher end Marriott. The calamari appetizer was nice and crispy, the cheeseburger was meaty, the cheese plate was good for two. The hummus wrap (a vegetarian option) had very little hummus in it. Good option for an airport hotel but I wouldn’t come here just for the restaurant.

Great Night spot to gather and incredible food and service

By Glen H |

I travel quite a bit and when flights are exceptional early or arrive late i have found myself staying at the Airport Marriott in Terminal B. The hotel staff are great, but i must comment on the Grill area and specifically Kevin Nolan at the bar. Kevin seems to spot me when walking thru the lobby or checking in and gives a shout out by name, which is pretty cool. His service is like to other restaurant or grill I frequent staying at Marriotts over 150 nights per year. The menu is excellent, but it is his personality and attention to detail that keeps coming back. Check it out.

Ok hotel food, nice waitresses

By MarySogni |

I have eaten here many times, but rarely for dinner. Last night it was for dinner, which was a salad, chicken dish, and a cocktail - came to $60, which seemed rather high given that the chicken dish was rather bare on the plate. A was hungry and it was tasty. Staying at the Marriott unless you have a boarding pass for that day departure, you dont have any other place to eat unless you go off airport. That's not necessarily bad, as the food here is ok. The bar has tons TVs obnoxiously turned to sports (I would have appreciated seeing the news). The bar drink was very good.

Breakfast

By Donnel P |

Had breakfast here after my flight and while waiting for my sister’s arrival as this is the only relaxing and quiet place to stay after a long flight. The place is not busy in morning so my food was served quickly. Staff are nice and friendly. The Omelette I ordered was very good and tasty. The coffee is just perfect, not to strong or bland.

Good breakfast but pricey

By VAHOME |

Had breakfast here and it was outstanding but more than we usually spend. My wife had the corn beef hash and it was outstanding.

Bad service. More salt than Bonneville

By Richard F |

Upon arriving. I went to grab a late dinner. The first comment from the bartender was he was tired. Ordered a French Onion soup to start. Had sooo much salt I sent it back & got wings. I have NEVER had salty wings! Bartenders were only concerned about cleaning and closing up. Wish my flight landed 30 minutes earlier. I would have eaten at the airport! Maybe the Marriott brothers need to make a visit here. Never again.

It Is What It Is

By TrayBN |

Your typical hotel bar and grill. Good service, decent drinks, overpriced. The flatbreads are pretty good.

Surprise!!!

By EatDrinkOmmm |

Who would think an airport would have such a great restaurant! Renovation are great...classy... The kale and quinoa salad is spectacular!!! Share it...way big! And the bbc chicken quesadillas are great!

Spicy Margaritas!

By christinaschanbacher |

Stayed at the Marriott the night before our trip to Mexico. Dinner was good and not terribly expensive. Great drinks. Good servers.

Feels like home

By Rashad B |

I love stopping in the restaurant anytime I pass through the Philly Airport. The drinks are awesome as the bartenders have really stepped up their game. I had the Sidecar and my wife had the Ponegrante martini. They really hit the spot. The new food me u is spectacular to say the least. I normally get a Cheesesteak when I stop in but this time I saw lots of new options s so I had to try them. The Fish Tacos were my fav but the Shrimp and grits were clutch and the stuffed pretzel bites hit the spot. Make sure you stop in here before or after the flight the staff is top notch from Drew, Ruth, Robin, Bonnie and Sayed. They make you feel like part of the family when you come through.

Good food, terrible service

By Richard F |

The food is good but the service is extremely inattentive and slow, and depending on who you get, grumpy. I spend 100+ nights per year in hotels and this place has the distinction of having the worst service of anywhere I stay. On the positive side, the food is quite good, so if you are very patient it might be worth it.

Good Food Expansive

By Chia Yu W |

I stayed here in Marriott. Since it is right next to airport, there is no many dinning choices. I settled with restaurant in the hotel. I had a burger which was good but the price is kind of high. I also had a beer. The restaurant itself looked nice. The waitress was very nice as well.

My wife and love this place as this is our regular waterng hole before she puts me on a flight back to LAX.

By GradingMachine |

We have a number of servers whom we adore, such as Carla and Scott. We always enjoy whatever we order to share (most recently the Caesar with chicken) and the drinks.

Quick Dinner

By Golfguymb |

Staying at the Marriott Philly airport hotel and had a long day and just went here for dinner. Very surprised when told by hostess that there was a 20 minute wait at 7PM on a Sunday night. Bar was open, so I ate there. Menu was varied and I had a cheeseburger with fries. Asked for Medium well and got Medium, bartender offered another one, but was too hungry to wait for another one. Service was good and alittle slow in getting meal.

Quick meal

By Steven D |

I think you can only expect so much when the hotel grill is the only place to eat while staying at this hotel. The waitress was very pleasant and quickly took our order. The food was a bit slow coming out and was brought to the table by courteous assistants. The food was fine. The mahi mahi sandwich which came on a pretzel bun. The fish was well seasoned and tasted fine. The bun was a bit much so i would recommend the mahi mahi tacos instead. The Philly cheesesteak was good and overly large. The homemade ricotta cheesecake was amazing and could have fed 3 people. The taste was superb and the berries were fresh. All in all, it was satisfying. The tab was a bit pricey but they are the only game in town.

Great hotel restaurant

By Debbi Fuller |

As I mentioned in my hotel review, the food was delicious. I had the seared scallops over a bed of potato/chorizo croquettes on a vegetable puree with edamame and crispy scallions. To die for. Ate every bite. Breakfast was excellent with eggs done perfectly and delicious bacon. I substituted extra fruit for the toast and hash browns with no problem.

disappointing and a bit overpriced

By duricchio |

food was very disappointing and overpriced for what was served. Drinks very overpriced. Service was good.

Not bad!

By KTDub2014 |

Late night arrival at PHL and hungry! I wanted s steak. Ordered the Rib Eye and it did not disappoint! Great peppercorn sauce and the veggies were fresh. 11pm dinner and the wait staff were also very attentive!

Ok

By CatherineB5 |

Ok food for airport setting- wait staff pleasant and attentive- nice space to relax- Chicken Quesadilla were tasty- the Veggie sandwich generous, but a bit bland- I would eat here again if spending extended time at PHL- probably best place to relax, eat at this airport.

Great place to stay

By iris p |

We stay at the Marriott Hotel Philadelphia Airport, once a month . We call it home away from home. Easy to get too Avis rental car easy access. The aviation Grill bar Restaurant bartenders are awesome.great Philly cheesesteak also.

Solid Choice

By Mark P |

This is a pretty good Dinner Choice, at least when stacked up against Airport hotel restaurants. The food is good, though a bit expensive. Service is fine.

Great convenience.

By 2Mickey123 |

The food was well prepared and you can get it modified if needed. I had a chefs salad and substituted shrimp for the chicken with no problem. The salad was ample size and fresh ingredients. My husband had their house burger and it was good.

Great ateak

By John O |

A very busy night with many canceled travelers. Had the Calamari- very good with some pickle slivers in the mix. Cheese and prosciutto platter, 4 cheeses were ok and the prosciutto was kind of regular. We both had the ribeye - very good. All and all a very nice experience. The wait staff did well keeping up with the capacity crowd.

Great menu and service

By Marcia D |

I'm used to the pick two menu combos. This was a pick three so I had a delicious half Rachel sandwich, yummy quinoa kale salad, and soothing chicken noodle soup. It was lunch so no adult beverage but the woman across from me raved about her pomegranate martini.

Service excellence

By robertadamsonjr |

Ladies & Gentlemen If your travel brings you to Philadelphia and great service is important, you will find an abundance of it at the Philadelphia Marriott Aviation grill. Ask for Margaret to hook you up with either Debbie or Iman. You will not be disappointed. They are among the finest examples of professionals dedicated to providing a wonderful customer experience! My wife and I were visiting from Boston to attend a wedding. We made reservations with Margaret and met with family the evening prior for dinner. Iman was the server. The next morning we had breakfast. Chef Darryl prepared wonderful omelettes for us.Debbie was our server and I was impressed to level of taking the time to write this review. Stop in and see for yourself! Rob & Dalila A

Great food, great service by Ruth

By Jfasch |

The fish and chips and turkey club were excellent! But the service from Ruth was outstanding!!! Thank you for taking such great care of us!!

Rude Waitress

By Benzband |

On June 14, 2016 it was suggested to us to eat at the aviation Grill in our hotel. We were staying at the Marriott Philadelphia airport hotel. I am a platinum elite member and usually Marriott employees are amongst the best. In this case we sat down in the restaurant looking for a hot meal, but all they were serving were sandwiches. So when the waitress came we asked if they served other items besides sandwiches and she said no and just walked off. Then she came back and asked if we were going to order or not. I told her we decided we were going to look for another restaurant that served hot meals. She once again just walked away. We were looking on our phone for something else in the area. Within two minutes she came by and told us we needed to leave because they needed to sit other people at our table. The problem was is is that the restaurant was nearly empty. She was very angry because we were going to order and we sat at the table for two minutes. We are guests at that hotel. We have been visiting the East Coast for the past week and all of our stays were at different Marriott's. I don't know if it's the culture there in Philadelphia or if it's just a rude, caucasian, older woman with short hair working for Marriott and has horrible care for the customer. I hope someone can train her better to at least talk with kindness.

Fresh and good. I was impressed!

By AndyOKC21 |

By far a better hotel restaurant experience than most. The food was fresh and tasty and the portions were good.

I expecting this to be as good as it is

By LoquaciousColorado |

I had both dinner and breakfast here and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Dinner was a Caesar salad with a flavorful piece of salmon. Breakfast was their buffet. The French toast was quite nice. My only complaint would be the horrible conditions of the cushions for their booth seating. I didn't notice it much during the dinner meal however breakfast was seen in the whole new light. Who wants to sit on cracked leather with chunks missing?

good between flights

By katy-lied |

typical american grill food - good selection of apetizers if you don't want anything too heavy before a long flight. Our waitress was great and kept checking that we were ok. Prices a little on the high side but that's to be expected at a hotel eatery. drinks refills plentiful.

Great food and service

By Joel S |

Overall a very good experience. If you order the rib eye steak I'd ask for the bordelaise sauce on the side to have the option of not using it. Fantastic desserts, like the cheesecake. So leave room for it. Really good coffee as well, not like that burnt stuff so popular at a coffee shop chain.

Missed Flight Dinner

By Anthony L |

After missing our connecting flight to Venice, Italy, we stayed the evening at the Airport Marriott and had dinner at the bar. Scott waited on us and was most pleasant. We both had a Philly Cheese Steak that was excellent but one could have been easily shared.

Good Food, Nice Atmosphere

By Heidi D |

This is an airport hotel, so not many options close by. That said, the food and service at this restaurant were good. I had the shrimp and grits, which was tasty. The shrimp could have been fresher, but still tasty. As other reviewers note, prices were somewhat high. You do pay for convenience.

Very good for what it is

By brmusicman |

My business meetings in Philadelphia ended a bit early, and I got to the airport around 6:30p for a 9:00p flight. Rather than sit in the (dumpy) terminal and fight for a table, I simply walked across the bridge from check-in to the Marriott, which is directly connected to the airport, and went to the restaurant. This place is nothing fancy or particularly amazing, but it really worked for me as a better-than-airport-food alternative before my flight. I was quickly greeted by the staff and sat at a nice table. The restaurant was relatively busy, but I was quickly greeted by a server and the pace of the meal was appropriate. The menu had standard hotel fare; I ordered a large salad and a flatbread. Both were served promptly and tasted as described. Prices were reasonable for the portions. Again, not the most amazing meal ever, but solid fare for an airport hotel's restaurant and I appreciated the chance to grab some reasonably healthy in peace before heading into the packed terminals. Fulfilled its purpose well and wouldn't hesitate to recommend as a good alternative at the PHL airport if you have a longer period before your flight or even a very extended layover.

Friendly staff

By ctwhisper |

Stopped here due to a missed connection flight. Super friendly staff. Great service. Would stay here again.

Delicious and convenient

By Sbcllc |

I have been here a couple times in the past month and it is delicious with huge portions. I had the cajun chicken pasta both times as recommended by the top notch bartender. It is so good and for 21$, it is worth it.

Nice Meal

By Allison439 |

Used the hotel as a stop over so wasnt expecting much, but we ate in the restaurant late afternoon and it was lovely. Staff were great.

Pleasant Surprise

By diningexpert1 |

Caught a earl dinner in the dining room. Service was pleasant and attentive. Beet salad was tasty, but limited beets and smoked almonds were missing. Had these on the side. The short rib tacos and the flat iron entree were excellent. The banana bread pudding with ice cream was delicious. Better than expected meal.

Nice surprise

By Deb C |

We were staying at the airport and stopped in for a quick dinner. The fig and prosciutto flat bread was a bit on the sweet side...probably too much fig jam. The Cobb salad was very good with plenty of chicken, egg, avocado, tomatoes, bacon and a decent blue cheese dressing. The salad was so plentyful, we probably could have shared it.

Menu was ok, service and quality were lacking

By lyssaleah |

We stayed overnight before a morning flight. It was my husband’s birthday and we were limited to eating here because we had kids with us and it’s the only option at the hotel. We thought the menu selections looked ok, but honestly the quality was really lacking. We also waited a VERY long time for our food, after waiting a while to even put our order in. My fish tacos came out after everyone was on their last bite. They charged us $10 to cut a cake (4 pieces). My son’s water glass had a very large crack in it.. when I alerted the waiter, there was no apology or sincerity in caring that we were using glassware that was hazardous. The manager asked how our meal was and I was honest. I appreciated his follow up, but there was no compensation for the service we received. We spent $300 and for that amount, we could have taken an Uber into the city and had a nice experience for my husband’s birthday. We were very disappointed.

Staff realiy hustles

By patraveller2007 |

The Aviation Grill is located in the PHL Marriott. Large, well made sandwiches Burger and turkey BLT large and very tasty. Both came with choice of fries or a salad. Easy, convenient and filling. Staff works very hard and are very accomadating. Next table had wings and they looked and smelled great. Booths are well separated and entire staff was masked.

Pleasantly surprised

By Patti D |

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch outside of the security area at the Philly airport, and gave this hotel restaurant a try. We were very pleased with both the food and the service. Good food and friendly service.

The only place for food near the airport

By DeepakBachu |

Six hours before I could check-in to my international flight and no place to have food at the airport...coz all food joints are only after the security check..thanks to the airport staff who informed me about the restaurant inside the Marriott. It was s a typical dining experience in a hotel but with some good options to choose from. T

Extremely poor service along with decline in food quality and poor managment oversight

By Kalalia |

I use the restaurant for business meetings and had great experience in the past except for this week. I ate breakfast and lunch this week. I would have given them no start but you are forced to pick at least one. I had pancakes and they were slightly raw and spongy and were tasteless. Coffee was barely warm and get cold as soon as you pour milk. My colleague and I had lunch as well and soup was poorly prepared. Bisque flour was raw and the onion soup was really poor taste and extremely salty. My colleague left soup after taking the first sip I had this menu a few times before and really liked the place. This time, food quality had really declined. In addition, my colleague and I started at 10 with breakfast and were on a work call while we ate and listened. The rude server kept coming and interrupting us. I eat very slowly and she kept saying why you aren’t finishing your food as it is cold and are you sure you want to eat cold pancakes. I paid for the food and it is my choice how I eat and my pace. So after 4 times telling her I am not done, I told her to box it. She took my breakfast that I only ate 25% of, and threw in the garbage. Then she said aren't you ordering lunch. Since we needed a place for a little bit more, we were forced to order lunch as well after ordering expensive breakfast. I noticed that there were some guests who were eating breakfast and arrived before us and didn't order more food. The server picked me and my colleague only. She was extremely rude and kept making faces when she came by until we ordered lunch and then she calmed down a bit. Since I had to leave, I called the restaurant that evening to file a complaint. There is no direct line so I had to call the front desk/operator who transferred me to the manager but no one would pick up. Then I called back, she again transferred but no one picked up. Then the Third time, operator found the manager and asked me to wait while she transferred my call. I heard manager in the background but she hung up on me again and 4th time the operator wouldn't pick up my phone and waited when it range 10 times. It was getting interesting so I used a different phone to call the front desk to see what happens and they did pick up and her coworker heard me and was angry at me for keep calling. I think the poor operator was embarrassed and her colleague was trying to help her by making things worse by yelling at a customer who is trying to file a complaint. This time she took my number and said someone will call me and no phone call yet. Unfortunately, there are no other places to eat within the airport area unless you are at the gate so I am forced to arrange my meetings here. The music in the background is loud and the staff told me that they do not control it and not sure who does and how to make it a little less noisy. Last time they charged me twice for same meal but I have already reached out to my credit card company to contest the charges so I am waiting to get the full story about what happened. On the website there is an email that can be sent to restaurant and I sent it to a Jeffery cooper and I yet to receive any response. This is really sad to see that they are losing business because of poor management and ruining good name of Marriott chain and franchise.

Way over priced!

By RpII |

Marriott knows that if you are eating at this location that you must not be able to go anywhere else. So they price gouge and serve really small small portions for a double whammy rip off. Food is over salted as well. This establishment doesn’t offer any happy hour choices. Eat prior to checking in!! For breakfast, Marriott platinum members are served food akin to the Fairfield Inn. Omelettes and such are available at a steep a la carry up charge.

restaurant sub par service lacking

By edie l |

I just wanted to eat. I waited to be seated, I waited on a menu, I waited on my food, I waited to get my check. The fries tasted like old grease, cheeseburger had items on it I requested to be left off. I was put at a table that was part of a walkway to another room, and it was busy with people walking through. I thought about getting a glass of wine, but it took forever to get a menu again, and they never checked back to see what else I wanted. Would not recommend or return.

Stay away

By redbaron12016 |

Very limited food selection. Staff is not attentive had to wait for 10 minutes until a member of staff even recognised me.

Not very good for the price...

By ronSohana |

Had a cheese burger, French onion soup, and bread puddingwith a beer. Cheese burger was average... French Onion soup had no cheese and was bland... Bread Pudding was prepared earlier and then frozen, it had no taste. The same goes for the accompanying ice cream, scooped and frozen prior, so it was rock hard in the bowl. For $42, I would expect more, but not much choice when you are stuck in the airport...

Good Food not an unpleasant atmosphere

By Nick O |

Staying in the Marriott at the airport means you have limited choices in where to eat. So I popped down to the restaurant and sat at the bar. The bar staff, lady was very efficient and friendly. I chose the Gulf Shrimp Linguini which the bar lady said was very good. It was actually excellent and just the right amount to eat. Not a crazy amount. Having eaten and had a beer I trotted off quite content.

Good Place to Wait for Flight

By HappyTraveler1202 |

At Philadelphia airport, there are NO places to wait for a flight before security. The Marriott offers the best solution. This is a comfortable hotel bar that provides good food, good atmosphere and good service. The menu offers many varieties, including vegetarian options. It's a fully stocked bar with friendly and professional bartenders. The hotel attaches to Gate B by walkway straight to security. A quick 5-7 minute walk and your in the airport. This is a great solution to wait with family/friends who have given you a ride the airport. This restaurant is roomy and very clean. The hotel bathroom is always clean, as well. You have to park in the parking garage. I will go back again.

Great Waitress

By Jim R |

Good for hotel food with a delightful waitress. The prices are high but that is to be expected at an airport hotel. We Both had soup which was good. My wife had a salad and I had a cheese steak. They were both good but not great. The local IPA was good. I bumped my rating from average to very good because of our waitress

Only on premises Restaurant Accessible without Boarding Pass

By drjeffh |

The Marriotts usually have consistently good but unremarkable food. Menu selection is varied but with limited options. I found the service to be excellent.

Good for breakfasts

By jstevens2000 |

They have everything you need to get the engine started for the day. I had the western omelet and it was done well and not to runny. Coffee was hot and taste great. Wait staff was attentive and you can also get it to go if you call about 15 minutes before. No room service so this is it. All good.

Good food, a little pricey.

By D967VKkevinj |

I enjoyed the taste of my food and the service was fine. The facilities were very nice and clean. A burger, fries and a glass of tap water should not be $18 though.

Excellent Martinis, Great Food.

By nclaireb |

We ate dinner here before an next day early morning flight. Food was delicious. Well prepared and presented. Portions are HUGE. Neither of us could finish our dinners. We had great Dirty Martinis. Better than we expected at an airport location! Will go back.

Convenient and reasonable

By Dwightcr |

Located in the Marriott attached to the PHL airport, this hotel restaurants has lunch specials including cup of soup, half sandwich and petite salad. An oasis from the busy airport. Staff is friendly and helpful.

A Satisfying Port in a Storm

By Chuck C |

Stuck in the airport by a winter storm, we holed up in the Marriott inside the Philly airport. Dinner was great (though predictably expensive.). Service was superior and there was plenty of choices. The breakfast buffet was terrific, too.

Look twice before eating

By carolinagirl124 |

I ordered the Clam Roll plate. It tasted okay but apparently it wasn't to my stomach. I was flying to Halifax from Philadelphia and started to feel sick by the time I landed 2 hours later. Not a good first night in Halifax to say the least! Our waiter was great and his service was good...but beware of the kitchen!! And the clams!!

was horrible. and no they dont validate parking

By Darryl D |

Do not go here. Do not ever go here. Beware. Worst experience. Rude staff people dirty hotel. Waitress was so inattentive it was dismissive

Good food and service

By Tracy-Scott83 |

We had a flight delay so decided to eat here to pass some time. Our server was really friendly and the service and food was really good. Reasonably priced as well.

BREAKFAST BONANZA

By everly23 |

Many airport travelers want a good, quick, healthy breakfast and this place never disappoints. Great range of choices, fast and friendly service and very good food. I opted for the roasted vegetable omelet that came with mozzarella cheese, home fries and choice of toast. It came out quickly, was prepared to perfection and I was able to get in and out of the restaurant in a timely manner. Bravo to the Grill.

Unusally good

By globetrotteraz |

Service was excellent. Had a cheese steak and it was one of the better ones I've had. Buffet breakfast was very good- good selection of breakfast items. Really good omelttes and hash browns that were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.

A Grinch-Like Review

By KimberlyMarie711 |

The start of our Christmas vacation started with a klunker of a meal. I thought of getting the salmon dish ($30) but opted for the bacon cheddar burger ($18), my husband got the cheesesteak ($17). Glad I went with the less expensive option given our experience. The waitress was ok but mostly absent. And it seemed unusually long to get our food given the sparse crowd. The biggest issue was the food. Fairly greasy and barely warm. There’s no way the food came to us straight off the grill. The flavor was good but the temperature of the food such a disappointment. Had I not been starving and it not being Christmas Eve, I probably would have grumbled a bit more. We did notify the waitress when we were done about the issue so she could tell the kitchen staff. They graciously offered a complimentary dessert but we declined. It was nice of them to offer though. One high point: they offer some glasses of wine in 3-ounce portions which I thought was a nice option. All in all, will not be back.

Nice, relax atmosphere with Guinness on the drink menu

What a nice hotel restaurant. Staff is very attentive, friendly and the food menu has sufficient choices. Excellent for a bite especially, if you are here just for a stop-over

The aviation grill serves a pleasant breakfast and a good lunch. I had the American breakfast that comes with juice and coffee. The eggs were perfectly poached and the service was great. Attentive but not in your face. At lunch I had a sandwich which was nicely prepared and served with nicely cooked fries. Plenty of space between tables for a conversation to be heard, not bad for business topics.

Good food

By normaEugene |

vegetarian options are limited, but that's the case most places and we veggies just deal with it. what i h ad was pretty good.

American dinner

By Peter D |

I had a nice bacon and cheese burger at the bar. For me it was the classic American style burger. Tasten very good while watching a game of AMERICAN football. Nice people at the bat. So I enjoyed my meal.

Rude, lazy service, ridiculous policy, $35 to sit down and look at the menu

By Mark A |

Bizarre experience. I wanted to buy a drink and browse the menu with my partner and was told that to do this would cost minimum $35 to sit down. Rude, passive aggressive, waiter didnt even give me eye contact when he explained the "rule". They said they were super busy hence the $35 dollar but I've watched 4 waiters standing around doing nothing for the last 30 minutes from the hotel reception. Going elsewhere for lunch now. Worst and most unwelcoming restaurant impression I've ever received in a marriott hotel.

great service!

By Human44 |

We had the breakfast buffet included as Gold members staying on a weekend. Our server Mark was outstanding - friendly, helpful, and genuine. Breakfast here made a great start to our day.

Good food

By GerryBaron06 |

The food was good. We had the sliders, mahi mahi and cheeseburger. The only issue was the long wait for the food and the dessert to come out. If you're used to the molten lava cake at Chili's, don't expect the same here.

If your at hotel, eat here. Do not take cab into city. Food and service above average

By john b |

Above average airport restaurant. Bar is great. Merriott burger not as good as I remember but OK. Scallops looked great.

Fun location to wind down

By cbo49r |

Good drinks, good beer on tap, friendly servers, and (if the TVs work) lots of games to enjoy. Food wasn't bad either.

Business Lunch before a Flight Home

By Jim R |

I was able to accomplish two things at once, conduct a business meeting and have a great lunch. Several great soup, salad and sandwich options. I had a Philly cheese (when in Rome), with a side salad. Quick service and convenient to the airport concourses.

Only Alternative

By Patricia L |

We had an early flight so we decided to stay overnight at the airport Marriott. This is their restaurant. The Aviation Grill is a cute little place. My lemondrop martini was made well. There was a nice selection of beer. Our waitress was very friendly but there were lapses in service. My husband ordered a burger, which he enjoyed. I ordered french onion soup, which was delicious, and quesidillas, which was so greasy. I had such an upset stomach after eating that.

Great Service

By Jennifer G |

We had a really nice casual meal here. Food was average but the service was fantastic. Our waitress was so nice and friendly we stayed and chatted with her until they started closing up!

So so....

By Nancy L |

Service felt rushed and the sign on the table seemed very unfriendly considering it is a Marriott. The food was good and served quick.

Always great food

By rjsiko |

When my family flys out of Philadelphia international airport we always stay at the Marriott connected to the airport, the restaurant has never been a disappointment for us, the wait staff is always fast and courteous. We normally get the cheese steaks and some burgers and always have trouble finishing the portions

Very accommodating

By Kim W |

This is right in the hotel lobby, attached to the airport. The food was good, service fast and bartenders friendly. There are areas for private meetings too. We had several teams staying here at the same time and the hotel staff helped us coordinate meeting areas and generously opened their kitchen and dining area to accommodate our 4am departure times. They also stayed open extra late for the entire week until we returned each night, to make sure we could get dinner. Who does that? This is why I got my Marriott Card and I am glad I did. You also get extra perks if you are a member of the rewards team, not just in the grill. My trip was almost a year ago and I am still thinking about it fondly.

Great Stop

By Scarlett T |

Ate dinner here after a long day of work and travel. The atmosphere was relaxing and just the right mix of activity (TV's) and quiet space. The food was good too. I had fish and chips and it was delicious although to much for me to eat so would be good for the really hungry. My co-worker had a burger and said it was good as well. Also had coffee which was good to, not to strong and not too weak. The service was a little slow, but I don't mind because I wasn't in any hurry and our waitress was super nice. Stop in here if you are looking for good food near the airport. The location is very convenient.

Unfriendly Host

By lh91lh |

Even though the food was good, and the waiters very extremely kind the host working that night, was unfriendly and refused seating to hotel guests on an half empty restaurant without any reason.

Wonderful find!

By Nettie77-9 |

We were spending the night at the Marriott on our way to Aruba, I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. The service and food were excellent. The grown-up grilled cheese was the best. Our friend said he ever had and I had the salmon which was also delicious! Highly recommend!

Convenient Marriott Food

By Ge0rgiaPil0t |

The french onion soup is always excellent. Nice place to refuel and re hydrate when needed. Wait staff is always professional and unobtrusive.

Nell Took Good Care of Us

By TrayBN |

Sure it's an airport hotel bar but the food and service are pretty good. Nell gave us excellent and friendly service. Go with the Chef Marvin bacon cheeseburger if you are hungry.

Old hotel and terrible food

By Bulldog Dan |

One of the worst meals ever. Marriott should be embarrassed. Salmon was so over cooked it was inedible, lava cake was microwaved and you couldn’t eat it. WTF.

Very Good Dinner Choice

By Mark P |

Airport hotel restaurants are generally pretty ordinary, but Aviation Grill is actually very good. My mushroom bisque and salmon were both very good, and service was quick.

OK but expensive

By Neil C |

Forced to stay here overnight after a missed connection and with an early start, we ate at the hotel's bar cum restaurant. Service was patchy but OK and the food acceptable if not exceptional. My usual complaint (not unique to this restaurant) was that Coke was only from a fountain rather than also being available in cans or bottles. The prices, as might be expected at an airport hotel were high. I'd visit here again only if I had to.

Tired and expensive

By MikeBirdman |

I had time after landing to have lunch before heading off. The good news is that the Marriott is connected to terminal B. it is, however, worn and scruffy. The restaurant had a basic menu and was expensive. I had a flatbread with mozzarella and tomato. Pretty uninteresting. Would have liked a small salad with it but no such item on the menu. Service was prompt as was the food.

A real gem

By Rob H |

The Aviation Grill at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott is a real gem! The staff are simply fantastic and while the menu is not extensive, the food is prepared perfectly. There is a solid beer and wine list that will satisfy everyone's tastes. There are TV screens in the facility. Some tables don't have great sight lines, so if you want to watch, ask for a table with a good view. Not at all costly.

Only Place to Eat...

By wnocranberry |

The restaurant is the only place to eat if you are staying at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott because even if you walk over to the airport, without your boarding pass, you cannot access any of the airport shops or restaurants. We enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. It was clean and the service was fast. It was quite crowded probably because it was the only place to eat or get drinks but thankfully, the food was delicious.

Debbie in the morning, Ruth at the bar For appetizers. Two ladies that bring hospitality to the highest level. I will always return where I receive good service and great food. Thanks ladies!

Average food

By R E |

Had an evening meal and breakfast here. At best average. Service OK though food quality not. Was convenient at airport hotel hence the choice.

Philly Cheesesteak at PHL Aviation Grill

By cattailcruiser |

As we stayed at the Marriott PHL hotel one night prior to our flight, we had dinner and breakfast here. I was so excited to get a "real" Philly cheesesteak! But I was disappointed as the one I was served was made with provolone and not Cheese Whiz. It was OK, but did not live up to my expectations! Breakfast was good, but pricey at $18 for 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. But I know that's to expect at an airport restaurant. Service was good both times.

Bad Management

By Jeff Y |

Our group had a layover from our flight from St. Lucia. We are went down for dinner and drinks. This place is very pricey especially the drinks. Most of us had burgers which were ok. The waiter was ok with service the place was super busy. My wife ordered a medium rare steak which came out medium well. The waiter agreed and took it back, and ordered her a new steak. The second steak comes out medium well again, so the waiter gets the Manager which we appreciated. The manager argued with my wife saying that was medium rare which it wasn't even close to medium rare. She then returned to argue more, my ended up eating half of one of friends burger just so she could have something to eat before we turned in for the night. The manager for sure needs a lesson on customer service and what a steak looks like when cooked correctly.

Speedy service and great food

By Ed S |

I just had a light meal at the aviation Grill last week and it was very good. Service was great and the food came out right away and was nice and hot. Nice comfortable chairs at the bar too. I hate hard stools and chairs without backs they do not let you relax and enjoy your food. I have already left eateries that only have stools an hard wooden booths. It is almost like some establishments go overboard in their quest for "Turns."

Oustanding

By BBBBTravel |

Volunteering at airport for the DNC - there are no restaurants outside of security except this one and we were so lucky. Decor is nice, service was perfect and the food looked and tasted delicious. (Wonderful vegetarian panini and I'm told the mushroom soup was very very good.) We were very happy. (a little pricey, but worth it).

Great servers

By Helen F |

Every time we stay here the food is good and the servers are great. A great start to our vacation. The quesadilla are are must.

Great food and service

By TeriPugh |

Mentioned this restaurant in my review of the hotel. The waitstaff was terrific. Very friendly. They had home made soup. Delicious! Just wanted a light meal the the waitress was so helpful. A very pleasant experience!

Great food, service and variety

By MarkO95 |

This is a really nice place to have a drink, dine, and relax. Excellent overall with a wide variety of options for food.

Great breakfast!

By Tom L |

I had their full breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon. It was excellent. They used three types of potatoes, including sweet potatoes. Eggs were done accordingly to my preferences - over easy soft. Coffee was very good. Service was fast.

Excellent food, great place to meet

By bclarke292 |

A short walk from the terminal this is an excellent place to meet for business and a meal. It is quiet with excellent food and service. Highly recommended!

Good food

By roytan1947 |

I had the blackened mahi mahi on a pretzel roll and my husband had the cheesesteak. Both were excellent. For an app we had the calamari which was fresh. Great meal to start vacation.

Surprisingly Good Food

By Kevin M |

Never expected much for a restaurant in an airport hotel but every time I stay at the Marriott I have a great meal here. The martini's are excellent. I have had the fish and chips which are great and last time I had the pork sandwich/slider which was fantastic. It's pricey for what you are getting but you definitely get a good meal.

Nice hotel restaurant

By Rstraubh |

We are stuck in Philly because our connecting flight was cancelled until the next day. So stayed at the Marriott Hotel which is connected to the airport terminal. Lovely hotel restaurant with multiple tv's in bar area. Food was very good and quick. Only awkward thing is note on table saying that if you wanted to just sit there and not order anything you will be charged $35. The tables for just sitting around the hotel is located upstairs.

Meh

By FriedSquash |

Hit or miss entrees. The burgers and fish and chips were satisfying, but the "signature" scallop dish was overcooked and bland. The potato croquets were not appealing. The mushroom bisque soup is house made and was excellent, as are the accompanying pretzel rolls. Service was good and the bar area was crowded, but quiet. Good menu variety, so pretty good for an airport hotel restaurant.

Average food and service

By TravelerONE2468 |

Bottom line - this place does not get repeat customers other than business people who have no choice. Very standard and quite average - and at times, the servers disappear for periods of 15-20 minutes or more. So-so -- go elsewhere if you have a choice

Stay over

By RustyDawg |

On our way to vacation stayed at the hotel and had dinner at the hotel. The atmosphere was very welcoming with a nice crowd at the bar and the restaurant was about half full on a Friday night. Service was prompt and very courteous. I had the cheesesteak and my wife had a club sandwich. I never thought a hotel restaurant cheesesteak would be that good but it was fantastic. My wife loved her club sandwich as well. The drinking water tasted funny so i would avoid that.

Absolutely Horrible!

By Jouxjoux |

One star is too good for this place! There are minimal choices and all are based upon the same three proteins throughout…and that was the start…I ordered grilled cheese, my husband, a salad with chicken. His salad came with no chicken…my entree was nowhere to be found. I asked for it again (2nd time). After three other diners came and were served, I asked again to please have my entree (3rd order). Another waiter came by and I asked him (fourth time). The first waiter came by again and asked if I got it (obviously not…5th time). I literally thought I was on a comedy hidden camera tv show. 90… yes 90 min later it came and was told it would be taken care of. My husband and I were kind throughout this joke of a dinner. Two hours later…waiting for bill the three other diners had long gone…we stood up at the table as if to say…bill or follow us out because we had enough. The bill came with the $17 grilled cheese charged to it!!! Done…never again! One waiter was Dwayne and the other, not sure but what a mess! Now I know why the lady across from us literally fell asleep with her head on the table! Not kidding! Stay far away!

Pleasant Surprise

By Patty R |

We got to the hotel late due to missing our connection. It was especially nice to find them serving full menu till 11 PM. The food and service were quite good as well.

very average food

By PhillyDoc |

I ate at the restaurant for a business dinner. the service was excellent but the food was quite mediocre. the restaurant atmosphere was also somewhat depressing, particularly in the back room where we were seated. the restaurant could definitely use some renovation.

Disappointing, Overpriced and Indifferent Service

By Ronstales |

After arriving from an all day flight from California I was very hungry because airlines now serve no food on the planes. I bypassed the airport concession counters which are notoriously overpriced and often lacking in quality for the restaurant at the Marriott where I would be staying overnight. I have stayed here before but never ate at their restaurant. I asked for to see the menu and was shocked at the high prices for drinks and food. Did I want a $19 hamburger? A $13 glass of wine? I decided no. However, when I checked my other options I had none so I went back and ordered the $19 hamburger which was actually quite good. Maybe I was just hungry and anything would be good. I was also disappointed in the indifferent service. Not a smile among anyone for this tried traveler. The next morning I opted for the $25 breakfast of two eggs, sausage, home fries, toast, coffee and orange juice. The orange juice and coffee was excellent. The home fries were cold (not lukewarm but cold), toast cold as were the eggs which weren't done to my request. I asked to have the home fries replaced and they were. Service again was indifferent. Didn't feel welcomed at all which is a shame because good service is so easy to do. Just one smile would have made all the difference. The only plus was my room which was excellent. Clean, convenient and comfortable and reasonably priced.

Nothing special here

By BBVeniceFL |

The food here is average hotel food at best. The only reason to eat here is the location and lack of other option. The menu is unimaginative to say the least. Stick with simple things like burgers, as it's the standard Marriott Burger (the best option on the menu). The service is variable, at best.

WAY to expensive for what you get.

By Leslie O |

Dated, tired and really expensive. Grandkids had 8 dollar mini pizzas that I swear are the little frozen ones you get at Costco for 8 dollars a box full. My Phili cheese steak sandwich was tasteless. My son's hamburger at $20 was just ok. The only one that enjoyed their meal was my daughter who really enjoyed the hamburger she had. Husband got the Ahi tuna- really? I knew that was a mistake!

Shore

By kathyhK9551WZ |

On the way to the jersey shore but stopped here after our flight and had super service and a great meal

Debbie

By kathyhK9551WZ |

Every time I come here she is the best. Breakfast is quick easy and healthy. Always a smile and a friendly hello and welcome Back. I feel at home.

Very Good

By babcme |

Had a flight delay and as anyone who frequently visits PHL you know that they have just about the worst food quality of any US airport. Gave the Marriott grill a shot instead and was pleasantly surprised. Attractive trendy rest-bar located downstairs the food and service was very good without being overpriced. Definitely much better than anything you would have inside the airport.

Food OK but not outstanding

By MrsLePew |

I had the fish and chips. The fish was absolutely wonderful. The fries were cheap frozen style. Service was good however we can only anser so many times that we are fine. Must have been 5 times while we ate

PUB GRUB AT THE AIRPORT

By unionjack2015 |

Good selection of pub food served quickly. Friendly attentive staff. Good for the solo traveller as there is a long bar at which you can sit and eat; and watch local sport if you wish.

Great service & food

By Staecy A |

Our server was unbelievable - she made us feel welcome and provided not only exceptional service but great recommendations! Very pleasant evening spent before leaving on vacation - highly recommend!

Great food

By John |

Surprisingly great food for an airport hotel. Soups made on site. Cheesesteak great. Don't hesitate to eat here. Prices are what you would expect for an airport hotel but the food quality delivers

Convenient, functional, pricey but good.

By Rhapsodyinblue |

We have been here many times both as hotel guests and meeting family in Philly. The food is very good. The prices are on the high side but you are paying for the location and convenience. Entrees were a beet and goat cheese salad (someone posted a photo) has a ā€œcakeā€ with the beets and goat cheese, surrounded by greens. It was really good. Companion had a burger and a salad, as expected and fine. Two other things that made me happy-recognized a waitress who told us she has been here for 20 years. Nice to see and a compliment to the restaurant. Also conversation with the bartender showed that he had a lot of pride in his work (even though he used a jigger for every drink which took away from his creativity).

Great all around, highly recommended.

By KE B |

Great all around! Breakfast was pricey but very worth it, so tasty; service was fantastic, Maureen was wonderful; quiet, clean, & relaxing; perfect spot for a layover to grab a bite.

Excellent Food - Drinks

By Jim S |

Wife and I were staying as we were flying out the next morning. Both had martinis and Aviation Burger. They were excellent!!!

A wonderful place after a miserable day being mistreated by the airlines.

By vidiverbill |

We went there after being stranded at the airport by American Airlines. The hotel they put us in had somewhere to eat but calling it a restaurant would have been a stretch. We took the bus back to the airport and found this place the staff was excellent, the food was good and the drinks were a lifesaver.

Dinner

By Warddav47 |

We both had philly cheese steaks, Caesar salad’s and two adult beverages. Very good! And our server Maureen was wonderful!

Convenient Quick Bite in a Nice Place

By Boris E |

We decided to visit this restaurant since we are loyal Marriott members and this hotel was the first one that we came to for celebrating our first year anniversary. The quality of the service is good and the food was tasty. It is a little bit expensive compared to other places in the airport, but it offers a nice ambiance and quality food for any ocassion. I would recommend the cheesesteak and drinks available in the cocktail menu.

I Enjoyed My Meal And My Waitress Was Great!

By LynnFH2 |

I liked the fact that there was an All Day Omelette on the menu and it was just what I wanted for dinner - requested no fries and that was how I got it. Very good omelette - hot and fluffy when it came out - perfect dinner for me at the end of a day of traveling!!

Cheesesteak

By interlskygoddess51 |

I’m from philly and was cautious ordering a cheesesteak ... it was delish... and on an amoroso roll no less !!! One of the best I have had!!!

Fun pre-flight!

By IrishFan-80 |

We always dine here the night before an early flight. Drew once again was a terrific waiter! Nice menu, nice cocktails, nice service.

Decent food, not so decent service!

By Larry Lance B |

The food was quite good, the service was unprofessional and unfriendly! Staff needs serious food service training!

Great!

By teena1014 |

I was very pleased for this bar/restaurant that is located in the airport hotel. While I didn't expect much, I was very pleased with the food and service. While the menu is simple, the food was very good. We had a cheeseburger and a turkey club and they were both very yummy. They also had a nice wine selection. The service was also very good!

Not bad...

By David S |

Stopped in for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised. Had the free range Lancaster chicken, not bad! Service was great! Convenient!!!

Overall good

By Jeffrey H |

We ate here twice in our stay. Food was good both times. Service was, okay... not the best. Set up like a sports bar from the 70s.

Great Food and Service at a Convenient Airport Hotel

By scottsM1122TK |

The Aviation Grill is a great place to dine, especially in an airport hotel. I've dined here numerous times and have always had good meals. There is often times a short wait for a table in the evening. When the restaurant is very busy, it takes a bit to receive your order. The food has always been very good, this evening I had an excellent grilled salmon dish, a tasty Riesling and very good chocolate lava cake with ice cream for dessert. The prices here are expensive, but considering the airport location, acceptable. Check this place out when staying at the Marriott Philadelphia Airport!

Very reasonable prices

By pathfinndr |

I was surprised at how reasonably priced the menu items were, especially being connected to the airport, where everything is overpriced. I had the Fish & chips, which ere a bit bland until I doused them with malt vinegar. They had a very good beer called Yard Brawler.

Another great meal

By John |

Had take out from here while staying at the hotel. Great to go set up that has everything you need. Food was pricey but that is to be expected at the airport. The food was great. Highly recommend the grilled meatloaf sandwich

Food took an eternity to appear

By Philip S |

The food, two burgers with fries, took over a half an hour to appear on an early Saturday evening. We couldn't figure out why, because the place was not busy. The service was pleasant, however, and the restaurant appeared clean. The food was satisfying as well.

Good Breakfast, Terrific Server

By jaybeeFL |

Convenient when staying in the Marriott. Breakfast was very good---cooked to order and delivered quickly. What made this a better than normal experience was the friendly, personable, fast service by I believe it was Debbie. She was just returning to work after knee surgery. She took great care of us---thanks.

Convenient

By BigDob |

The restaurant is located in the lobby and the greeter was very friendly. My waitress was also very nice. The menu had lots of choices but the prices were expensive. The food was pretty good however. I would recommend guests to try it.

MARVIN is the best!!!

By 4157 |

My husband is handicapped. He needs extra assistance. We had just returned from 4 weeks in Ireland. We had an early morning flight) to catch to get us to our home. (we spent the night at the Marriott Airport Hotel) to rest up). We had 4 large heavy bags and 2 heavy carryon's and 2 computer bags. We called for a bellman at 6am. MARVIN arrives with a smile on his face and states "I'll take care of everything. and He did. He loaded all the luggage in and out of the van. all the way to the check in counter. Helped my husband in and out of the van and situated him in the wheelchair area. All with a smile and the best of attitudes. MARVIN was awesome. Marriott is lucky to have such an excellent employee. Thank you, MARVIN, for being such a big help to us. Kim Flynn

Good breakfast

By Tom F |

Had a mid-morning flight, but arrived early. Decided to go to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Meal was pricey but we had good service and the food was hot. One downside, the breakfast was served with a broken egg yolk. Not a killer problem, but not what I expected at this price.

Great wings!

By Irene F |

Great spot - good food and drinks. Friendly and efficient staff. I love the wings! There are always fellow travelers to chat with.

Dinner at Marriott“s Aviation Grill

By NedConger |

The salmon dish with mussels was well prepared and had a delicious sauce. Service was friendly and attentive. The merlot wine was also of fine quality.

Overall good experience at PHL Marriott.

By Traveler_200950 |

Quick and pleasant service with good food. Seems to have a business clientele from my one visit. I would come back.

Dinner

By whtwav2 |

The atmosphere was very nice but it it is in an airport hotel. So, it was busy. Our meals were very good. I had the salmon which was excellent. The drinks were well prepared. However, they kept the temperature so low we had to go back to our room to get sweaters.

Better than expected

By seattlesez |

News Flash: you don't seek out the airport for fine dining. Airport hotel and dining is a convenience for travelers. So it was with muted expectations that we sat down after arriving from Venice Italy and checking into the Marriott. Service was quick and friendly. The menu is limited. Wines offered in a variety of sizes. I had Turkey Club Sandwich and wife had Cobb Salad... both fine. The Prosecco was fine, could have been served in Verona. The place was busy with active business people and was comfortable.

Thanks Amme!

By KaStrole |

The food is decent. The drink options are good. Amme and Chris (host???) are polite and wonderful conversation! They both enjoy football.

Great Airport Hotel bar and restaurant !

By Wilson P |

Third time at the Aviation Grill, inside the PHL airport Marriott. Each time has gotten better and better. Shout out to Carla the bartender at the time. She is a super bright personality, and lots of fun.... I ordered the chicken caesar salad and it was excellent ! Cocktails were cold and "good pours". Can't say enough good about an "airport hotel" Bar and Restaurant, this one gets better and better every visit.

Surprisingly Good Dinner

By Mark P |

Restaurants in airport hotels are generally pretty nondescript, but the Aviation Grill is a cut above. The food was quite good-both my mushroom bisque and salmon were very tasty, and service was good too.

An enjoyable dinner.

By FF13 |

We stayed at this hotel for one evening prior to an early morning flight. We decided to eat dinner in the restaurant rather then venturing out to the airport or anywhere else nearby. (Couldn't leave the parking garage without paying another fee.) We were seated promptly by a staffer who turned out to be our server. He was excellent. Our food was very good and served promptly. The restaurant is large and very busy. A private party was also going on in another part of the facility. The central bar was large and had an excellent selection of beverages. All in all, an enjoyable dinner before turning in for a next-day flight.
