Quality middle eastern food, with generous portion size Our office is walking distance and we frequently eat at Aviva, always a line in front if it, but goes quickly. Owner walks around the line with a tray letting you taste food while you wait. Strongly recommend

I’ll start with the only downside — not being from Atlanta the location was extremely difficult to find. This could be due to construction that was happening though. We almost gave up trying to find it, but I’m glad we didn’t; the food was delicious and Kameel was a hoot! We met him as he was offering free soup samples while we waited in line. He professed his love of all customers no less than 10 times while we were there. Dining here is an experience!

How food should be.. natural and made with passion and tradition. ♥️ Don’t miss this beautiful place.

I have been in this place many times and I must say the food is always very delicious. Especially their baked chicken.

If you're looking for delicious, healthy and unbelievably memorable food, this is the spot. From the moment you walk in, you will be welcomed with positivity, the owner comes out from the impecibly clean kitchen to greet you, offering a tasty sample to make your time in line fly by. There isn't a wrong thing to order on the menu, because it is all amazing. Well priced, it is my go to spot when I'm in Atlanta.

I had gone to Aviva for lunch and there was a long line of hungry customers. The owner greeted all the waiting customers, served us samples of soup, and dessert while we waited, and thanked us for supporting his family :). The food was worth the wait. I had Falafel Kameel Style which was absolutely amazing. It was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

The place is nothing special but clean, efficiently run friendly service and good meditterenian food.

Amazing spot! Recommend for anyone!!! The worker gave us watermelon and we're so generous!!!! Portions were awesome and so fresh.

This was my first visit back to Aviva by Kameel Downtown since 2019. I am delighted to report that the food is as delicious and fresh as ever. Kameel himself greeted us warmly from the kitchen. Portions are generous like my grandma would serve, so plan accordingly to save room for homemade baklava.

The menu is authentic so I needed to ask several times “what is that?” and the item was explained very nicely. The chef came out and greeted us as we ate and even gave us free baklava explaining why it tasted better (maple syrup.) I ended up buying a box of it to go!

We stopped at Aviva for lunch because of the high TripAdvisor ratings. We were NOT disappointed! We were greeted at the door by Kameel, who was handing out samples of sandwiches and then soup as we waited in a quite lengthy line. Kameel is a draw on his own, but the food stands on its own merits. The food was amazing and plentiful. Our group had rosemary chicken, and chicken and lamb shawarma platters. So delicious! Will definitely return!

Great vibes and great food. It all makes you smile here, from personal warm welcome greeting by the owner and complimentary soup while waiting in line to wonderful flavors and crisp vegetables.

Rarely can you go to a cafeteria style restaurant in food court and come out wowed. You will at Aviva. It's all about the food. No trickery with fancy decor and soft chairs. The words authentic and fresh are used by everyone..... probably McDonald's. But here at Aviva each word means exactly that. Authentic....yes the taste of Lebanon. Not sweet Americanized glop. Cumin, garlic, parsley, lemon. If you travel frequently to the middle East or are from Lebanon.... welcome home. Fresh....there is no freezer in the restaurant. That says something. You can literally taste each fresh ingredient No pork dishes. The food is halal. The owner and his wife are from Lebanon. They are involved greeting customers, serving food, cooking food. I true sign of food excellence. Sorry, no corporate MBAs maximizing profits from corporate recipes. Foodies rejoice this is the spot for lunch. Finally a gem among common rocks. Enjoy....

The Aviva Restaurant is inside Peachtree corner food, kiiind of difficult to find.. but don't give up! It really worth it 🙌😍 the owner is very kind and the food is amazing 👍❤️

Great tasting vegan food and the owner knows me. This is my go-to place for lunch. I recommend them to others. We also hired them for my son's wedding.

We visited this place purely because of the ratings and because we could walk to it from our vacation place. However, once we stepped in line we began to see how it got such high ratings. The owner, Kameel, was greeting people in line with samplings of minestrone soup and then a minute later, homemade cake--this was way past lunch time---food is served cafeteria style where you go through and choose. I ordered lamb which needed to be cooked fresh and they brought it to our table, followed by more samples of fresh watermelon. The lamb was delicious and all the sides---lentils, falafel, creamed spinach, and tabouli---with all the sauces---were fresh and scrumptious. Kameel came back to our table and visited some more and he seemed to know all of Atlanta. This was our favorite dining experience in Atalnta!

Lamb shawarma was super good; grilled veggies had wonderful herb flavors; sweet potatoes were great, too. The only thing not perfect was the hummus (a bit bland), but I filled up on the other bits!

Delicious food with a great selection, not over priced, and friendly people. Atmosphere is welcoming and plenty of seating. Only open 11-3

This restaurant is located in the Hub which seems to be a food court with a few businesses mixed in. I got there just after they opened and there was already a short line which I got in to and tried to get the lay of the land. It reminded me a bit of CAVA or Chipotle where you choose your base, your protein and your toppings. I got the chicken shawarma salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, hummus and tzatziki on it. The owner was there and said I was picky like his wife which got a great reaction from the people in line. I also got to try a sample of their vegan soup which wasn’t bad just a bit spicy. It was fifteen bucks for my salad and was enough to feed multiple people or give me multiple meals. It was delicious, fresh and very filling. I understand why they are so highly rated. Go and enjoy.

Very fresh, delicious, and clean food options, and reasonable prices. A convivial and casual lunch crowd of regular diners. The Mr. KameelWil was genuinely lively, friendly, warm, generous (offered free food samples), and it's evident he loves being hospitable and feeding people!

Love Kameel, the food is wonderful. The only falafel I that is worth ordering anywhere . The half shawarma half falafel is incredible. His soup is amazing. And he makes you feel like family. His new location in Buckhead is next to the new Publix in Buckhead.

Back in Atlanta for the Mart, we knew we had to go back to Aviva for lunch. Again, this small unassuming place in the Marta corridor off Peachtree is a knockout! Every dish I have had here has been perfect. Chicken Shawarma and OMG the Mmjadara which is lentils with brown rice and caramelized onions are just the perfect bite. Their sauces (get the hot sauce for sure) are a great complement to their seasonings. If you like falafel, get it here! If I worked in Atlanta, I'd make this a thrice weekly visit, if not more. But...go early, they close at 4:00. The owner is usually around greeting customers etc. He's a super nice guy who never fails to thank you for coming in. His staff is equally welcoming.

I visited during a 90-minute lunch break from a conference at the Westin. Aviva is listed on FindMeGFree as a safe place for people with Celiac disease. There was a VERY long line but it moved relatively quickly (40 minutes). None of the menus are marked to indicate whether or not they contain gluten but I asked Kameel himself as he came quickly through the line handing out samples of soup and cookie bars (both GF and delicious). He said the line severs would know. Kameel greeted guests and showered us with kind words and free samples. Servers were so polite and welcoming. All the sides are GF, they said. I had the lamb shawarma, which was so unbelievably tender and flavorful. Got grilled veggies and lentils as my sides, which we fine. I had enough leftover for lunch the next day, and the lamb was still fantastic. I hope I come back to Atlanta again on business. I’ll definitely visit Aviva again!

Don't judge...cause we ate at some nice places...but this little fast casual place is sooooo great! An the owner himself makes you feel right at home, he was so nice I would daily if I lived in the area. Now this guy gives HAPPY new meaning. The food is so fresh and delicious. I had a salad brimming with all kinds of toppings along with some very tender lamb. The lentil soup was incredible and the desserts were amazing too. If you are near Peachtree Plaza, you absolutely stop by and say Hi to Kameel.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was! I was waiting to get a passport, discovered the Peachtree Center Hub food court, and found this in the back. I am vegan, and it was so nice to have such a large percentage of the choices be vegan. The restaurant is bright, clean, and wonderfully friendly. I expected to pay more because of the food offered, but my whole bill was $20, including a 20% tip. I opted to get 4 vegan sides, which included choice of bread, and it was delicious. The lentil dish was the best I've ever tasted. I added the Mexican Coke, and my meal was very filling. In fact, it was too much, but I couldn't throw away any food! I arrived at around 11:30, and by the time I was finished (traditional lunch time), there was a line of customers way out the door into the food court. I saw no other restaurants with this kind of line as I was leaving the food court. People are obviously looking for real food that is minimally processed and healthy.

This was literally the happiest place I’ve ever been to. It makes Disney world look dour. The owner offered everyone in the line free samples of soup and banana cake (both delicious), getting every single person as if they were his oldest friends. All the staff followed his mood and presentation, and they all felt genuinely joyful to be there. The food was just as good, and the lamb shawarma was to die for

This place is legit good. I got the falafel and it was one of the best I've had in Atlanta. It is in a food court in a mall with terrible parking but its totally worth it. go there, eat food. enjoy.

🍽️ Just had the most amazing Mediterranean food experience in Atlanta at Aviva! 🌍✨ From the moment we stepped in, the vibrant ambiance and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The menu offered a tantalizing array of dishes that captured the true essence of Mediterranean cuisine. 💫Whether you're a seasoned Mediterranean cuisine enthusiast or new to the flavors of the region, Aviva is an absolute must-visit. The restaurant captures the essence of the Mediterranean in every bite, and you'll leave with a newfound appreciation for this incredible culinary tradition. 📍 Location: Aviva Restaurant, Atlanta 🌐 Website: avivarestaurant.com

This gem is in a mall that is being remodeled. It was a hard to find the restaurant once inside the building. The food is delicious! There was an abundance of food to choose from and the chef is right there greeting folks.

Very welcoming place. Surprised it was inside of a mall. Owner served soup samples while his customers waited. Also handed dessert and showed everyone kindness and appreciation. Excellent food and service

The good reviews of the restaurant in Yelp and TripAdvisor is what took us to Aviva by Kameel. We had ordered the Rosemary Chicken, the grilled Salmon and veggies which were not only very delicious, but they were amazingly healthy too. However, what made the lunch even more enjoyable was the amazing hospitality of Chef Kameel, the owner of the restaurant, who greeted us with a free sample of his quinoa-tomato soup while we were in the line waiting to order. Then he came back again while we were having lunch with a plate of hummus and pita bread to see how we were enjoying our lunch. Then he again sent another waiter with a plate full of fresh sweet strawberries for us to finish our lunch on a sweet note. I have never seen such warmth and generosity in any restaurant owner I have been to. I am so glad that we were able to have lunch there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Atlanta downtown.

Amazing Rosemary Chicken!!! This place knows how to flavor food! The fresh made bread, OMG! Melted in my mouth, superb touch, no one serves fresh made bread, don’t say no to the bread! Lots of great sides to choose from hot and cold. Highly recommended! Going back tomorrow to try the salmon!

They seem to do a good job with their whole menu. I had the chicken shawarma and it’s delicious, plus they have fantastic sides. They’re quick and very friendly, too. Lovely place, especially when on a road trip and need somewhere yummy + quick place to eat.

This is a favorite lunchtime favorite. Friendly staff and great food. The baby ganuaush and falafel are ine of my favorites.

Great lunch. The owner was so nice sling with all the employees. Obvious that good is prepared with utmost care. Good was fantastic!! Completely fresh... Great find!!

Delicious grab and go lunch and dinner🥗 ! You don't have to wait an hour to get AND its healthy! My top two picks are the Salmon 🐟 that is made fresh for you and the Rosemary chicken 🐔 . For sides, I love the alfredo, mixed garden veggies🥦🥕🌶, and hummus. But honestly, you can't go wrong in any direction Try it ALL, then some!

My husband and I love Mediterranean food. And Aviva did Med food proud. Spicy deliciousness from the chicken schwarma to the potatoes and creamed spinach. While eating, someone brought us fresh watermelon...and then a vegan cake that hit the spot - even for those of us who are not typically fond of vegan. We’ll be back!

I work nearby and can't help to visit Aviva at least once a week. Their lamb Shawarma, Rosemary Chicken, Falafel, Chicken Shawarma is to die for. If you have not yet, please make plans to visit Aviva. You won't regret. At lunchtime, there is usually a long line but the food experience and the warm welcome of the staff makes up for it.

What everyone says about this place is true. The owner is very hands-on with his guest. And the food is excellent. Their customer service is always on point. They deserve more awards.

Long queues for this highly rated restaurant and it's nice to get a warm welcome from the host and free samples, but the food itself was very ordinary, overpriced and sloppily served.

Long line? That just means more time to sample the fruit and soup on the menu for the day which is delivered to you personally by the owner while you stand in line. The chicken shawarma is out of this world, and the creamed spinach is better than any Atlanta steakhouse. Food. Service. Outstanding in every way. The only travesty is the spinach is only on the menu Tuesday and Thursday. I have a hard time visiting without also ordering a meal to go for the following day... it's that good.

Excellent food served by people who really truly seem to care about nourishing others. Unassuming place. Worth the wait. And when the line gets long, the owner brings complementary appetizers to those waiting.

I love going to this place for lunch. They have the best tasting veggies and the owner is the sweetest and most genuine guy ever. All the food is so flavorful. But be sure to get there early. The line wraps around the wall.

Line forms early and I now know why! Wow! Trust the awesome reviews - it was SO GOOD. Met a friend for lunch and he told me about this place tucked away in the food court. Got there around 11:40am on a Tuesday - line out the door. Left around 1pm. Line still out the door. Line moves pretty quickly and they handed out small cups of tomato, parmesan, basil soup to enjoy during the wait. Almost did not have time to finish my soup by the time we could order. Owner was walking around complimenting people and joking that you can only have 3 cups if you are driving Right before we reached the counter someone else offered us a sample of some blueberry treat. I ordered the Lamb Shawarma platter and the lamb was amazing!!!!! Shaved right there off the vertical rotisserie with tasty seasoned edges. Portions were plenty, sauces were flavorful. Once at the table, another person came around with plates of chopped up watermelon and fruit for us if we wanted it. This place is a friendly, well-oiled machine of mediterranean deliciousness. It is clear that it matters to them that we came in and they appreciated our business. The seating is also not crowded and the atmosphere is quiet so you can hear other talk over lunch. LOVED IT. LOVED IT.

Food for your body, nourishment for you soul. Owner is incredible and just walking in here is an experience. First time walking in- “Hello my brother, so good to see you! I love you, thank you so much for coming!”. His energy alone brings people in the door and it’s a wonderful experience. Rosemary chicken platter is out of this world. Falafel and hummus so fresh, I was almost exploding but just couldn’t stop eating it. Hands down the freshest and most delicious food I’ve had in a long long time. A wonderful experience made even more impressive that it’s located in a mall food court. A must try!!!

Aviva by Kameel Downtown at Peachtree Center in Atlanta is a great place to go for all things Mediterranean food. Everything that I have tried from here has been flavorful and delicious and something different that was much appreciated. The staff here is very efficient and provides excellent customer service.

I’m a vegan and Aviva was incredible! So many options! I had the falafel platter. I had it with sweet potatoes that were so good I can’t imagine what they did to them! I also had this lentil with caramelized onions dish that reminded me of food my Babie used to make. I don’t even know how you make those flavours without meat. As others have said Kameel was so nice and came around with samples of soup-delicious-and desserts. They also came around after I had my food handing out watermelon chunks. You should know they don’t really serve soda except la croix (its a very healthy place). Inexplicably the food is served in compostable containers but drinks and samples come in styrofoam.

After reading about this restaurant, we just had to stop for lunch. We had to wait in line outside, and while we did Kameel brought us vegan chili, and brownies to sample. There were far to many choices for one meal, and we both had more food than we could eat. I would add this to the must visit list for any trip to Atlanta. The food and service is top notch. Don’t pass on this one, eat here.

From the warm welcome to the flavorful food, this is a must go to spot in the city. The lines are long during lunch hour but moves quickly and they offer little treats while you stand in line. It’s really a wonderful place all around.

Aviva is a must stop everytime im in Atlanta. The people are great and the food is amazing and very clean. But I do want to mention its Palestinian owned and Run with my respect to the Lebanese people

I love eating here. The owner and staff are kind and friendly. The food is perfect. I eat here often and it is always consistent.

Staggers the imagination that food and service this good can be found in a food court. Rivals even Chickfila as a lunch spot!

Popped in for a quick lunch last week with a business colleague - we were working around the corner. Really glad we did - super food and service. Fresh, clean and very, very tasty!

Great food and even better service. Owner is heavily involved and service is very helpful. Will stop by again

I was in Atlanta for a conference and stumbled upon this place in passing. And then proceeded to eat there every day. The place is great, has a clean, modern vibe to it. The service is exceptional -if there is a long line (which at lunch time usually wraps around the exterior of the place), the staff will come out (Kameel included) and hand out little bowls of soup and some desserts to keep you going until it's your turn. The food is amazing. I've never had such good food for the price they charge. I recommend the chicken shawarma, the rosemary chicken, the falafel sandwich and all the sides they offer. Everything is good but the rosemary chicken was my favorite.

Located underground in the Peachtree center food court, this is perhaps the most underwhelming location for what might be one of the greatest treasures Atlanta has to offer. Yes the line stretches out the door but do not worry! Kameel himself will come to visit with you personally while you wait! And he will bring you samples of his delicious fare! He is an amazing person with a spirit that will reach into your chest and melt the ice around your cynical heart! Also the line moves super fast and before you know it you are picking between Rosemary chicken, lamb kabobs, or some of the best falafel in the city! I can't recommend the rosemary chicken enough! It is one of the best single dishes I have ever had!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all outstanding. The chef was so pleasant and seemed genuine as he greeted patrons at every table with a smile making sure everything was to our liking. Special thank you to the nice young man Quinson. He gave us the perfect suggestions for our meal as we weren’t too familiar with the menu and all the different choices. We are not from this area so we had a hard time locating the restaurant, but there were helpful people along the way to steer us in the right direction. Everything was awesome. Definitely going back the next time we’re in Atlanta!

Meh. Styrofoam containers of very average chicken shawarma , overcooked veggies and dry rice. Not a happening scene, go elsewhere.

Amazing authentic food. The owner is energetic and fun. Healthy options and reasonably priced. I am shocked that this is inside of a mall! This should almost be a tourist attraction. Do your senses a favor and eat here!!!

I come here every chance I get to. The food is the best, but the owner is even better. I recommend it to every single person I speak to - my coworkers, my family, even people I don't like LOL

Lived up to the good reviews, food was served quickly and was very tasty and at a reasonable price .. if you want a great quick lunch you won’t get much better!!

Back in the dungeon of Peachtree Center is an awesome place for fresh, homemade Mediterranean food: Aviva by Kameel. Bypass the lines at the fried Chick Fil A and all the other heavy laden Chinese and Italian food.

The falafel & bean soup are so fresh & delicious, I enjoyed them as well as the creamy and tasty pasta side! The owner is so hospitable.

Located in the Peachtree Center mall, it's easily accessible from nearby hotels and conventions. I'm glad I got there early because by the time I left the line was out the door, and after eating there I understand why. The chicken shawarma was tender and delicious and the service was outstanding - chef was working the serving line and very engaging and friendly. Red cabbage was on point. Vegan baklava was outstanding. Would highly recommend and would eat there again.

We love Aviva! We’ve been coming here for several years now and it’s always fresh and delish! Everything is made with good, wholesome ingredients. The owner is very friendly and always makes you feel welcomed and appreciated.

Great food....very long line for lunch hour that moved surprisingly quick. Chicken schwarma was awesome. My only complaint is that the schwarma didn't come with rice like it does back home. Still...I would eat here again

Had the pleasure of having lunch at Aviva by Kameel. Chef Kameel came around with samples of fresh bread and watermelon but the star of the show was lunch. Lamb Schwarma with veggies and sweet potato. The lamb was not processed and sliced thin...Absolutely delicious...couldn’t believe it was in a food court.

This is a counter service restaurant in the Peachtree Center. There was a long line when we visited, but the line moved pretty quickly and the owner passed out samples of soup and baklava to help the time pass. While doing so he created many people by name, called many people beautiful, and was incredibly friendly and happy. The food was delicious and fresh. I see why there is a line! I will definitely go back.

The best, fresh food and incredible service!! We will probably eat here again during our conference!

This is a very good restaurant. The owner of the restaurant is AWESOME. While waiting in line he gave us soup and baklava. He was talking to customers like he knew them. Food was awesome. If you are ever in Atlanta please visit this place. Wonderful atmosphere and good food. I will definantly be back. Just wonderful.

This is one of the BEST Lebanese restaurants i have ever eaten at. Quick, fresh, and the best customer service. Centrally located. Really Great falafel.

Our lunch was amazing! The rosemary chicken was tender and flavorful. I definitely recommend this restaurant. The line moved quickly and was worth the wait!

My husband had this on his list of must eat at places in Atlanta. While waiting in line we got a sample of soup. Then the owner came out with vegan and gluten free dessert for everyone. We ordered our food, and everything was delicious. My husband said he would eat falafel everyday if it tasted as good as this. While eating we were also given a plate of watermelon. There's a reason there is a line to eat here, the food was all delicious. You will not leave hungry.

Aviva is a great place for lunch. Get there early for lunch because the line is long and that is because the food is delicious.

Every bite is amazing. There is nothing bad here! The hummus, the babaganoush, the out of this world roasted chicken. The falafel. The salmon. And yes - THE LENTILS! Kameel is a gracious host - he is all about the customer. Hate standing in line? No worries! Have some soup. A little dessert bite. How about some watermelon? Kameel loves everyone - he tells them so. The food is healthy, the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. You will never be disappointed. This really is the number one restaurant in Atlanta.

Aviva by Kameel is an awesome restaurant. The Rosemary chicken is delicious and the salmon kabobs is one of my favorites. I've had pretty much everything on the menu and I have never been disappointed and that includes the soups! The owner (Kameel) is a very down to earth person and really cares about his customers.

So fresh and full of flavor! Everything was delicious... Service was fast and friendly. I'll definitely come back...

The food was fantastic! The owner greeted everyone, was so friendly and passionate about providing good food for everyone. He gave us samples of his lentil soup upon arrival and it was delicious also! I highly recommend eating here!

Grabbed lunch here during Dragoncon. Thought there was a queue i waited here because it smelled so good! I had chicken shawarma. Service was good, the queue moved quickly and we got some baklava while we waited. Worth the wait and will grab some lunch here again.

Pleasantly surprised by this great spot. Found it online and saw it had great reviews. Lived up to expectations. Staff was very friendly and offered us soup samples that were delicious. The chicken and meat was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Sides were delicious. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely stellar the quality of the food is beyond any of their neighbors in the complex. Great value for money. And is an absolutely wonderful character!

Aviva is on our schedule every year during DragonCon. The food is consistently delicious and Kameel is always so kind and welcoming to the DragonCon family. Wish he would open a location in Marietta!

Came here during DragonCon, as we do every year, and the restaurant was open specially for the event. They really get into it and are very welcoming. Quick service, and the owner is very sweet and friendly, as is his staff. They were giving away food while we were waiting in line, which made us want even more. The best lentils, baklava, and falafel I've ever had! A must-stop if you like Mediterranean food or want to try something new.

I and my wife enjoyed the experience and food at Aviva by Kameel. We came and were greeted by Kameel sharing samples of soups and desserts. The food was great and healthy too. Will come back here for lunch again.

Fantastic healthy meal that’s delicious and served with a smile. The line indicates how many choose to eat her but don’t let it turn you away, it moves fast.

Kameel is amazing. All the staff are very nice. I feel as though it is a little expensive. I got a lamb kafta lunch platter without a drink and it cost $17.

Unbelievable. I never write reviews but had to for this one: The portions, the quality, the taste, the service....all of it. I was so impressed. It is slightly pricey for lunch but for how much food you get and the flavor, totally worth it!

The friendly staff, sample cup of soup and the menu which accommodates all kinds of diets make this a winner. We had a vegan / dairy free our group and she had plenty to choose from. My favorite side was the lentils with brown rice and caramelized onions.

Flew to Atlanta for business meetings, arrived early enough to grab lunch. This is less than 5 minute walk from WESTIN PEACHTREE hotel. I grabbed lunch about 130PM & there was absolutely a line, but I chatted with the person in front of me & found the line moves relatively quickly. THANKS to the manager for coming out and saying hi!!! How nice is that?? THANKS to the staff for coming out & offering FREE delicious soup samples - and generous sized samples at that!!! Really helped me out because I was so hungry!!! RECOMMEND their delicious salad and perfectly cooked, flavorful lamb. HUGE portion (also a $16 salad - not sure if that is normal or expensive in Atlanta?) This restaurant is essentially IN THE FOOD COURT OF A MALL. So if you are not from the area and trying to find it by using your maps app on your phone - be warned! :) Restaurant was clean & offering fair amount of seating, offers free tap water, and clearly runs a big take-out business. Fresh delicious food. Totally would return.

The owner intimate two of us in my group, and he was also sexist towards the women in line to eat (such as referring to them as "Gorgeous" as if it were their name). He became angry when I declined a freebee, and he became increasingly aggressive about it when I kept declining as he asked more and more aggressively. At the end, he ended with "May the Lord be with you.", and not the positive way of using that statement. I am an atheist. One other group member who needed to repeatedly decline freebees has severe allergy problems and was sufficiently intimidated by all this that he wasn't comfortable checking about those regarding the food and ended up not eating.

I come to Atlanta several times per year for business and finding Aviva is the best thing that ever happened to me! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kameel, his energy, his passion, and of course his food. You can just tell that everything is made with so much love and so much attention to detail. I can’t recommend the lamb highly enough! I am very picky when it comes to my meat and this is some of the only meat I will eat. It is consistently tender, seasoned perfectly, and just delicious. If you go and there is a line, do not be deterred! You will be treated to some delicious samples and Kameel’s incredibly positive energy. And of course, the food is absolutely worth waiting for! You will be hard-pressed to find a better restaurant in Atlanta than Aviva. It is just incredible in every way!

My co-workers has been raving about Avila and the experience did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the service was second to none. The owner brought around the most delicious samples and had a winning personality to match. I highly recommend this establishment!

This is our favorite restaurant in all of Atlanta and we love it because the food is delicious and the customer service stands out for being very friendly, you feel at home. I will definitely keep ordering food for much longer.

We are attending a meeting at the Marriott and were looking for a quick bite for lunch. We walked over to see why this place was rated so highly. There was a line, that moved quickly. The vegetarian salad that was served while we were in line was delicious. I had the chicken Shawerma while someone had the beef Shawerma. They threw in a falafel which was amazing. Everything was delicious and tasted like my mother made it - I am Lebanese and not always do places make food how it should be. 5 stars all the way. Excellent service as well.

Employees accommodated for friend’s allergy and were almost free of any dietary restrictions. In addition, we didn’t know their closing hour and accidentally came late, but they still fed us an incredible meal!

Excellent food 😋. I had lamb swarma steam vegetables and rice. Good, good food. I would definitely come back to this spot at The Hub when I come back to Atlanta.

Saturday and Covid equals comfort food. Aviva by Kameel is a great choice. Loved the Chicken Shawarma, Salmon and for the sides recommend Chicken soup, tabouli, cabbage salad, hummus, grilled veggies, potatoes and baba. Loved. Loved. Loved it.

I went downtown to experience the #1 rated best Mediterranean food in Atlanta! The staff was exceptional, and the restroom was the cleanest I have ever seen. However, the food was very bland and extremely disappointing. The Rosemary chicken was cooked to perfection, but they must have forgotten to add rosemary; it was tasteless. The hummus was as smooth as it could be, but again, it fell flat. The final disappointment was trying to understand why you would serve pita bread cold. Really? I think it’s time for a reboot!

This place is delicious! Healthy, friendly and really good! The owner greated everyone at the door with free baklava and lentil soup. Everything was perfect.

Fantastic food and worth parking to visit. Busy at lunch but still worth the wait. The owner may even be greeting you while you are in line.

Fresh food, efficient service and lots of love from an attentive owner. How refreshing to have someone take such pride in their restaurant and love to interact with their customers.

Great food. Family friendly. Long lines. Fresh food. Worth going. I would highly recommend it as it is an excellent Mediterranean restaurant.

Amazing food, great portions, great flavor. Nothing bad! Highly recommend! Got the rosemary chicken with lentils and cabbage slaw.

The Peachtree Center underground mall has loads of good looking food choices. I recommend Aviva. The staff is really friendly. Been there twice in the past couple weeks. There’s a great selection of vegetarian choices but the sample of soup made part of my choice easy both times. Got the baba ganoush last time. Nice and smoky and a good contrast to the lentil soup. Falafels are small and best eaten while still hot.

Coming from the Middle East, I know the spectrum of what can be expected from restaurants across the board. I can honestly say that both my wife and I were blown away by Kameel's food and hospitality. He is onto something with modified recipes that use much better ingredients than common in the middle east. We will definitely be back soon. Kameel really seems to love what he does and wants people to leave his restaurant feeling welcome and satisfied.

Just had lunch at this amazing place. From being greeted on line with a delicious cup of soup to the most enjoyable interaction with the owner! Had the chicken shawarma plate which was sooo good.

After 3rd trial I was lucky to lunch at Aviva. Located inside Peachtree Center in Downtown food court. Open 11a-4pm M-F, not open on weekends ☹️ Food was freshly made, seasoned richly and not expensive. Owner Kameel is very friendly, constantly greeting customers in line serving free cup of soup and other samples. Line moves quickly. Would recommend for sure. 👍🏻👍🏻😀

Long queues are becoming almost a 'thing' but one can't complain too much since it may mean that everyone recognizes a good thing. Here's the thing: you get "fed" even while you wait! Okay, so maybe that's a bit of a misnomer but, while in the queue there was a steady flow of samples of food of the day being given to everyone....& chocolates too! Then we get to the food & the only thing wrong there is that one has to try the variety of options (for each menu item & in general), to figure out the extent of the goodness i.e. there's no guessing which is better; a long term comparison has to be made. The location being in a nearly-underground mall didn't hurt either Did I mention Kameel's super congenial personality!?!

There is a reason people travel hours to get to this place. There will be a line. It will be worth it. Kameel is a wonderful man and his food is spectacular!

This little restaurant is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the busy food court. Everyone who enters is a friend, the food is always fresh, and the service is very attentive.

My family chose Aviva based on the reviews and #1 rating. It is well deserved! The staff and owner are so friendly I felt like I was eating lunch with my friends. The soups are all wonderful. I had the seafood soup and tasted both the chicken and lentil soups. My husband had lamb, one son had rosemary chicken and me and the other son had chicken shawarma. They offer chicken shawarma 3 ways. I chose the salad option and my son got the platter with 2 sides. Everything we ordered was amazingly good. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! It is the total package with outstanding service and delicious food. We will be back!

This is the best Mediterranean food in Atlanta, and the falafel is the best I've ever eaten. Tomato quinoa soup each Tuesday is a staple of my diet. Ask this and the food is hormone-free with lots of vegetarian, vegan, halal and just plain good-for-you choices. Kameel (owner) is a character and constantly serving up sales to those who wait in line, which can be long but goes quickly. His family are great, as are all the staff. Aviva is my top recommendation to newcomers and visitors alike.

Don’t get to visit often, but Aviva is always on my list when I’m downtown. Kameel is always there with a smile, handing out samples and making sure you’re having a great experience. Falafel...favorite

Weekday lunch. Made the trip over based on other reviews. It was well worth the effort. Would definitely recommend and return.

Aviva by Kameel in downtown Atlanta is a fantastic spot. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with friendly service usually by Kameel himself, the eccentric but very kind owner. The Mediterranean dishes are fresh and full of flavor, with highlights like the falafel, hummus, and shawarma. You can really taste the quality and care put into it. The atmosphere makes it a great place for a quick lunch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, wholesome and healthy food in Atlanta. Aviva by Kameel is definitely worth a visit!

This restaurant is ranked #1 for a reason. It's fast, fresh, and delicious. Everyone I've brought to this restaurant has loved it. The prices are great, and you get a lot of incredibly flavorful food for your money. The staff are wonderful, and the chef is one of the nicest, most welcoming people you'll ever meet.

Just amazing and fresh Mediterranean food! 2 days in a row, for lunch! So many choices of sauces and combinations. Great spot in downtown Atlanta!

Everything they serve is very fresh and healthy! The owner is always there welcoming customers. If the line is long, he starts to give food to taste. The atmosphere is very friendly. Food is delicious.

Best food In Atlanta also so fun. Great service. The chef was so gracious. Mic drop. You won’t regret it.

The food was delicious and unusual and the four of us enjoyed the variety. The menu was thoughtfully put-together and changed every day. Loved the service -- the wait staff was extremely attentive and the waitress was able to discuss the food on the menu and the wine. They have obviously been well-trained! We'll definitely go back.

Food is not bad. In fact it’s among the best in the food court; likely healthiest. But, the price point is ridiculous for what it offers as counter-service. Guess the rent is high and convenience wins. Way too many outstanding reviews.

The service here was absolutely amazing! There was a wait since it was busy but the owner/head chef came out and gave everyone samples of the soup as well as cuts of honeydew and cantaloupe. This place was so welcoming and the food was delicious. Definitely will be coming back and I encourage everyone to stop by there to eat.

We visited this restaurant after reading all the great reviews in trip advisor, the owner greeted us very warmly and made us feel home with his positive energy and he personally ordered for us and the food was amazing cooked with healthy ingredients and the taste is beyond great , took us back to our grandma flavors .. definitely this food is made with lots of love and passion , definitely deserves number # in Atlanta .. I highly recommend if you visit this place to order the tapas style which is small plates from almost everything they have , every single plate have its unique flavor made exactly the way it should be made with healthy ingredients and great taste , very proud of them and wish them always best of luck , we will be back soon for sure .. thank you Kameel family for your great hospitality and amazing food .

So let's start with the food. It was delicious and amazing. Some of the absolute best Mediterranean food I have ever had. You order at a counter and there are plenty of seats in and around the "food court." It was crazy busy but the line went super fast. Now on to the service. While waiting in line, we received free samples directly from the owner, and even after we sat down they were giving out free samples. The owner was friendly, knew his regulars well, and clearly has a passion for what he does. I wish there was a way to give like 6 stars. It was that good. The owner should be commended. Some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time.

Not a fan for this kind of cuisine, but I came to the Food Court giving it a try for the 5 star rating with some reservations due to the last few days dining experience based on ratings in Atlanta. “ Hello, friend!”, the owner had a tray on his left hand and courteously handed out small sample cup to people waiting in the line, three times during my about one hour stay. I ordered King Salmon (he said white salmon), and side dishes. It was fresh, much better than the one we had in Crown Plaza for breakfast yesterday. Everything I ordered in the lunch box was fresh and of the top quality. No complain even for a picky eater like me. The best dining experience in Atlanta in 4 days!

Super delicious food and fast service! The staff, and the chef himself, are very welcoming and work with love. My family and I loved it here and came two days in a row during our stay in Atlanta. The meat is fresh and the lamb chops were the best I have ever tried! Their falafel is spectacular and so is everything else. Their food is one of a kind! EXTREMELY RECOMMEND! 10/10

Kameel is the consummate host. The only issue is the location can be difficult as it is in the Peachtree Center Food Court, but nicely tucked away in it's own corner. If ever in that vicinity, definitely go there!

Three of us just enjoyed a tasty, healthy and filling lunch here. Two had falafel wrap which was not small and I liked a taste. I had the salmon platter (comes with two sides and two pieces of pita bread). Nice-sized salmon was wonderfully spiced with peppers and tomatoes. My sides were very good— creamed spinach and quinoa with eggplant in tomato sauce. Baklava was a nice sweet finish. To complete the scene there’s the terribly friendly and humorous Kameel behind the counter. Highly recommended!

Great for downtown lunch. worth the wait. The falafel and Mmjadara the best I've ever had. Also amazing Baklava

The food variety, flavor, and freshness are exemplary at Aviva by Kameel! The service is more than excellent! They treat everyone like family and everything about this place emphasizes that loving-family kind of care and deliciousness!

I was just in Atlanta for Dragon Con 2023. I’ve gone every year for 17 years. I’ve looked forward to eating at Aviva every year since he opened the downtown location and only learned of the place by going to the convention. This year was no different as I ate there once a day for six days. If anyone is familiar with Dragon Con then you know it’s huge, over 50K people swarm downtown. It’s like the Super Bowl for the hospitality industry on that part of downtown. Some places deal with it better than others. Aviva welcomes it with open arms and gives it a big hug. While the lines could be long they usually moved quick. You don’t mind it because Kameel himself comes out to greet everyone and hug them. He and his staff hand out small bowls of lentil soup, baklava and melon to people waiting in line. Kameel habitually says, “Thank you”, “I love you” and God be with you” to everyone. It’s amazing and you can tell it truly comes from the heart. The food itself is outstanding. The humus and the chicken shawarma pita sandwich are personal favorites. It’s truly delicious and genuinely good for you. If you are in Atlanta and do not eat there you doing yourself a huge disservice.

I am a fan of Mediterranean food but this place is over the top. I had a fatoush salad with a piece a salmon and it was the best meal I had in Atlanta. Owners are wonderful and offer tastings while you are in line to order. This place is a must stop if you are in downtown Atlanta.

Place is clean staff friendly. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. I had the kebabs with vegetables jucy kebabs but the veggies were not on spot

Awsome food!! The owner is always so welcoming and generous often handing out goodies! Food is always fresh. They often hand out samples of the soup of the day while you wait in line. Very convenient to get to it’s located in a Marta station. Always my go to place when downtown it has never disappoint!

Connected by a walkway to the Hyatt Regency, this restaurant was a great find. The staff is friendly and explained all the options. The owner walks around thanking everyone for coming and making sure everyone is happy. I had the chicken schwarma wrap and it was massive. They offered me a free piece of watermelon to complement my meal. Spent about $20 including a bottle of sweet tea. It was really fresh and delicious I would recommend!!

Out of town. Wanted highly rated local cuisine. They were rated #1. Was absolutely wonderful. Everything I put in my mouth. I called to find the place , he told me how to walk there from where we were parked. Said I love you and see you soon. Ok. Got there without saying a word he knew I was the person who called. Gave us a complimentary plate of hummus tabouli cabbage and falafel. Paid for the salmon and rosemary chicken.potatoes and creamy chicken dish. Also the pistachio baklava. All of it was heavenly in my mouth. I couldn't believe how delicious. The owner referred to us as his sisters. Hugged us goodbye after thanking him for such wonderful food. I wish we had this back home. I'm telling you it's amazing food here!!! Located in Peachtree mall, no sign outside on street but will be near the food court inside bldg.

The food is average/good but saying this is the best Mediterranean food in town is a big stretch. There are tons of better restaurants and this food is more like middle-eastern simple food.

I was here during dragoncon(lots of people) and the staff was amazing. They were checking on people in line and gave out some nice samples. The customer service was maintained even with lines 50 people long. The chicken shwarma and lamb kafta are both awesome

We always look forward to getting a meal here during Dragon Con. Not only is the food extra delicious and healthy, but the owner is amazing and super welcoming. He stayed open a good 45 min later than listed on the door to take care of his customers and he even gave those of us in line some baklava due to the wait. The best!

When we were on vacation we stayed at the Hilton so this place was close by. Aviva by Kameel, whatever it means, is absolutely amazing! The staff here is professional, kind, loving and will make sure that you will have something to drink! "Crab Stuffed Avocado" was a wonderful dish.

We were cueing in a long line but it only took like 10 minutes until we could order - and they served appetizers while standing in the line. The food is classical middle eastern style in a pretty good quality. The chicken shawarma was great. Prices 10-15 USD.

Unbelievably good! I got the fish shwarma combo plate for lunch w/ roasted vegetables and lentils. The shwarma had shrimp, salmon and a seabass mix cooked in tomatoes and red onions. It was outstanding! Comes with a sauce that is also good for dipping vegetables. The owners greeted everyone waiting in line, while bean soup was delivered to those waiting to order. Definitely a great find in Peachtree Center!

I’ve wanted to try this dining option the last few times I’ve been to Atlanta but there is always a line. I hopped in line today and was surprised how quickly it went. Staff brought samples of soup to enjoy while we waited our turn. My meal was one of the most flavorful and delicious meals I’ve ever enjoyed. Everything is fresh and prepared to perfection. The staff was friendly and made ordering my meal easy and fun. I highly recommend!

Absolutely the BEST lunch in Atlanta! So delicious, so beautifully cooked. Wonderful vibrant coloured vegetables (hard to get in USA) The Rosemary Chicken is moist and delicious. No sugar, just enough salt for flavour. Kameel entertains with starters before you get in the door. Don’t be put off by the queue it is worth the wait. He is so hospitable and welcoming. If you’re an Aussie and you are craving ‘normal’ fresh food you will not be disappointed. Wonderful experience

The seafood kabob was amazing and the service was great! Delightful experience all around and excellent value for the money! Would go again!

There was a line out the door when we arrived, but Kameel brought a try of soup samples to everyone waiting and the line went fast! Quick counter service and the food was great! A service brought small plates around with complimentary watermelon to finish our lunch.

My wife and I came here during our time in Atlanta and were blown away by how excellent the service was. We were allowed to try multiple samples from the different sides and desserts and everything was delicious. The creamy chicken soup, the tabouleh, the baclava, the creamy tomato soup, chichen shawarma, all of it was delicious and best of all it is reasonably priced for good sized portions. Definitely coming here again.

Thoroughly enjoyable Lebanese food served “to go” style. Not a sit down restaurant (it’s almost in a mall like setting) but there are benches and chairs around for you to sit down in. Rosemary chicken was excellent, as was the salmon. The roti bread and the spinach side were to die for. Great, healthy option for any close to the area who want quick food and quick service.

Only visited once. One evening my sister and I went to eat before watching a movie at the Theater.Great Food & Service

We visited Aviva based on Trip Advisor reviews. Luckily we chose the original location at The Hue (downtown) where Chef Kameel greeted us. We purchased the plate and a few additional sides as well as pistachio baklava. Everything was fantastic, especially the babaghanous, sweet potatoes, rice, falafel. As we were leaving Kameel’s wife came over to speak and was very warm and welcoming! When in Atlanta, make sure to seek out one of their three locations, you too will sing their praises!

Mediterranean food of Aviva by Kameel is awesome, healthy and served in generous portions. The quality of the ingredients is noticeable. Chef Kammel is remarkably kind, he serves soups and appetizers to the patrons waiting in the line. The restaurant seems to be Atlanta's favorite. Ambiance is great. Highly recommended.

Wonderful spices and sauces. Desserts exquisite. Excellent service and waiter in an intimate, small setting.

We loved our lunch! It was such a friendly atmosphere, great food, and offered tastings of different foods before ordering. Highly recommend!

The owner of the restaurant treats people like they are genuinely family. The pricing is a bit higher, but completely justified considering how busy they can get and how strong their reviews are. The service is relatively fast, plenty of options to choice from, and they toss in little extras if your timing is right (ex: complimentary soup samples, watermelon, etc).

Food is very good at great prices. Lamb Kafta is amazing and chicken breast is very good. Great place for weekday lunch when you are nearby suntrust.

Super super delicious (and healthy) eating! Fresh squeezed juices - juiced right in front of you for maximum nutrient absorption! I believe they do not use any butter at all in house, and it is easy to tase out dairy free and vegan options. The owner Kameel is super friendly! I used to work nearby Aviva and frequented regularly.

Definitely a great place to stop by. While the peachtree center food court can be depressing (currently under renovations) this restaurant is a light within this space and is one of a kind. Best Mediterranean I’ve ever eaten.

Kameel is the BEST and I've never met an owner who is more engaged with his customer base. He was bringing out samples and personally thanking everyone. He loves Dragon Con! And we definitely love him and his DELICIOUS food! It's healthy to boot, which is way better than most of Peachtree Center's offerings!

I was at first very surprised to find myself walking through a hallway filled with fast food restaurants on my way to one of the best restaurants in Atlanta according to Trip Advisor. I was immediately greeted by someone who appeared to be the owner and he gave me and my friend a free small cup of soup since it was very cold outside to warm up with while making our food selection. The Chicken Shawarma was the best Shawarma I've had to date! I will hands down go back to this place the next time I visit downtown Atlanta!

I went here for lunch after several recommendations...and I'm glad I was here early, since there was a huge line by the time I left with my to-go lunch. The food here is fresh and unique. And, Kameel, is quite the gregarious character...but in a positive, excellent way! When I ordered what I thought was a good combination, he looked at me and said "You haven't been here before, have you. Well, No, you don't want that....". And then proceeded to tell the staff what to put together for me. I was a little surprised (although he did it very nicely)...but, I tell you what...was Kameel right on! My lunch combination was fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't wait to get back.

The food overall was okay, but although I was excited about this place, I probably should t have as it is after all a food court “restaurant”. So food was okay but not great. I also should have known by the simple fact the there was practically no line to wait whereas some other places did.

Its nice for people to take the time to give you samples to make sure you don't order the wrong thing. The food was fantastic and so was the service.

Extraordinarily friendly place for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-sensitive folks! I got into a very long lunch line, wondering if the tripadvisor rating was really worth trying it out for myself. The lovely chef, Kameel, came through the line twice with samples -- soup and desert -- and heartfelt affirmations for his customers while we waited. A truly amazing experience that one would never expect from a restaurant located in a downtown food court area. Better than any other "high-end" restaurant I visited while in Atlanta! Delicious, healthy food! Way to go, Kameel!

Very nice yummy food. Amazing service as well. The hummus was too good. All the dishes in the menu have very healthy ingredients.
Good and quick
When we were looking for a place to eat lunch, we didn't really understand that Aviva was in a food court style setting. Once we realized "The Collective @ Coda" was a food court, we were able to find our restaurant. I ordered the chicken shawarma, falafel, and grilled vegetables. My friend got the Rosemary Chicken, and hummus. The food was in generous servings with a great choice of sauces. She raved about the Rosemary Chicken. We opted to eat outside since the weather was perfect. Seating includes a long wooden bench that could accommodate a huge amount of people. The large screen on the wall outside provides an interesting mix of ads and screen-saver-like art.
