My friend and I hit the drive-thru a couple of times for breakfast tacos and queso. The food and service were fast and very good. It was a step up from quick stops like Taco Bell and Taco Cabana. It was very in expensive too. I definitely recommend this for some quick Tex Mex in San Antonio.

I had lunch here with a friend. The service was pretty good and the food was tasty. It wasn't very busy and we were seated immediately after we both arrived. I had the wawa bowl with fajita chicken and it was good. The house margarita was OK but not that great. My friend did say her skinny margarita was good. I asked if they had a military discount and the guy said yes but then came back and said it was only for my husband. I've never had this issue before. Usually if you have a military ID they give you the discount. I thought this seemed kind of petty, but that's just my opinion.

First of all, the waiter responsible for my table was very committed during my stay. At the beginning he provided complimentary chips with a red salsa. I ordered a mexican hot cheese with poblano peppers, grilled onions and sour cream. It came with homemade corn tortillas. The food was good and I would return.

Ordered the dinner for all 5 of us, the taste was not too bad. It was good compare to other restaurants in area. I was really disappointed when they just lied at the end so they do not have to honor free dessert what they advertise on their website. They knew I was vegetarian and they said, oh this dessert Sappa something has meat in it. Really??? Which country in the whole world have chicken or any meat in simple desserts. I will give them zero rating because of their this dishonest behavior.

My two buddies and I ate here for breakfast after playing golf. We all enjoyed our meals. Their best items are Mexican in nature. I had an Mexican omelet and it was good.

I recently discovered this second location for this restaurant. We had been several times to the one in Spring Branch but this was our first time to this location. It is located on the NW corner of 281/1604 where the Walmart is. It is a smaller than the other location and more booths with some table seating. The full bar is also smaller with only four bar stools. It is easy to get to if you are familiar with the new roads and construction. The parking is small but we were able to find a place for lunch. There was no wait and they are practicing safety precautions with booths separated by plexiglass, staff wearing gloves and masks and tables being disinfected immediately after customers leave. They do have table scan menus but rather than paper menus they have plastic reuse ones which we prefer the paper ones. They have a senior menu reasonably priced and lite version of entrees on main menu and the price is about $2.95 less. We ordered the Tex-Mex cheese enchiladas that come with refried beans, rice and a tiny shredded lettuce/tomato mix $7.95). The salsa is flavorful and not spicy hot at all. The chips are a small serving but were crispy. Tea is not included and again the have a senior price ($1.59) for this as well. The food was served at a good temperature, very good Tex-Mex style and filling. The waiter was attentive and we enjoyed the meal. Although they are still remodeling this venue dine-in is open and everything was clean including the restrooms. We will visit again when in the are.

Was not sure what to expect when I visited. The first time we went, we were there for lunch. Our son had a breakfast dish, though, and that was probably the best of the meals (which is not saying anything negative about the tex-mex we had). Another time, we went back to have breakfast. Service is generally good and friendly. They have good breakfasts, including more American breakfasts featuring eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. Both times we went we enjoyed ourselves. Just have to try the margaritas once!
Salsa, red gravy and tomatilla worth the trip!
This was a surprisingly good dinner. The atmosphere is not fancy and the presentation is not elegant. BUT, the tomatilla sauce on my chicken enchiladas was outstanding, as was the salsa. My wife had a regular enchilada with red sauce and it was readily apparent that the sauce was freshly made from dried chili pepper pods with no added tomato sauce...very close to how my wife makes it and unlike anything we've had at most Mexican restaurants. Heading back there for sure next time we're in San Antonio.
