Decent Mexican Food & Service

By Ellespeth |

We enjoyed our lunch & ordered favorites like Carne Asada. Lunches were large portions and quick. The Carne Asada steak was "ok". Also it came with a giant, roasted, very hot chile I couldn't eat (instead of grilled green onions, which are traditionally served). The service was above average & we enjoyed it there except the outdoor seating tent was blown out by the wind. It was fairly warm with a big heater, until the wind came blowing through. Overall: not bad. I would not attempt the outdoor dining tent at night.

Nice for quick meal

We were late for another reservation and opted to try this place. It was fine. The place was quite large and staff were attentive (but busy). Food for our group was all good as was the drinks we tried. Price was ok. I would try this place again if in the area . Parking was paid which was a surprise for a mall.

IT DOESNT GET BETTER THAN THIS.

In my 40yrs I’ve never tasted Mexican food better. Absolutely mouth watering delicious, service was excellent..

Worst Mexican Resturant!

By Ted E |

It was the worst Mexican Restaurant I've ever eaten at. Too many things to point out, even rats seen in the dining room area. I've lived in the Northgate area for 25 years, and I'm so glad it has closed now!

Excellent Cheese Tamales with Mole Sauce - HUGE PORTIONS!

We stopped for a late night dinner at this restaurant, which is a locally owned chain in Seattle. The service was kind, friendly, cheerful, and bilingual. There were tons of vegetarian choices - I chose the cheese enchiladas with mole sauce and they were to die for. I have craved them ever since eating them.

Great Mexican food and service

This is a great place for Mexican food. It has a huge menu for lunch and dinner. The service is wonderful and parking is easy close by. This is a local chain outfit with multiple locations. The shrimp quesadilla was excellent.

Good restaurant

It is a very spacious place with enormous sitting . We ordered 2 different types of margaritas. Lots of ice. Less liquor. Bland taste. The vegetarian entrees were okay. Could be better. The server Norma, tried her best. Overall neither bad , nor outstanding.

A nice meal

The menu was large with many options. The complimentary chips came with a warm bean dip along with the traditional salsa. I ordered a cheese enchilada combination meal with rice and beans. The food was hot, portions large, and flavor of everything very good. He servers were friendly and stopped by the table often. The restaurant interior looks like it recently had some upgrades, but could use some new upholstery on the table benches. The restaurant was busy, and still going strong despite the Northgate Mall renovation around it.

Nothing Special AND BEWARE!

We got take out from here as it was close to our hotel. This was during the holiday snow/ice storm that the Seattle area had. Driving was difficult, so we picked somewhere close. We are always hesitant to order Mexican food from "chain" restaurants, as it usually is not very authentic. That was the case here. It was just your average, kind of bland, pre-processed, Americanized Mexican food. We had a few different things from the menu. None were great. None were bad. The food filled us up, but the flavors were nothing special. I doubt we'd go here again.

Good Mexican food

We ordered two items, fish tacos and Enchiladas, both were good. Chips and Salsa were tasty. Good service too.
