We went in on a Saturday evening, not crowded. The food was unbelievable !! Between us we had Fish and Chips (cod), it was huge! I'm not much of a french fry fan, but these were AWESOME! The fish was perfectly prepared, moist and fantastically breaded. Shrimp and chips, she gobbled them up! And we split a cheddar char dog that was in itself worth going back there for!! The place was clean, the employees were welcoming and very pleasant. We look forward to coming back here, or the other two locations.

My wife and i brought our picky eating children here. There was good stuff for the kids to eat(burger, fries, breskfast sandwiches). And my wife and i had many delish tacos. My favorite was the ahi poke tuna taco. Very fresh with a hint of wasabi. Samurai fish taco also bery good.

So fricken good! My wife and I shared 8 tacos. So good! So full! Fish tacos were the best! Pork tacos were next best. And their truffle oil fries were tits! My son ate two burgers.

First time here. I got the grilled shrimp taco, 1/2 LB Fish-n-Chips (Cod), & house salad. The taco was street taco size (smaller tortilla), so I was a bit disappointed with regards to cost vs. portion. Average taste at best for the taco, I’ve had better. The tortillas were plain jane. More sauce on the taco and crisping up the tortillas would’ve made the difference for me, maybe a couple more shrimp and house made or hand made tortillas. The Cod wasn’t soft and flakey, and juicy. It was tough. The fries were good. Salad was OK. I’ll try here again and try something else.

My friends and I went here on a Taco Crawl and out of the three places we tried this was our favorite. The tacos were reasonably priced and every one that we tried was absolutely delicious. We would definitely go back and recommend this to any taco lover.

I didn't catch his name but big guy at the counter taking orders was very good at acknowledging every customer and making sure they had everything they needed. Very good soft shell crab sandwich and seating is kept nice & clean. Will definitely stop again for lunch.

After seeing this place on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives my bf and I knew we'd stop in on our road trip out west. I really loved the flavors in the Mango Chutney taco. I also loved the atmosphere and vibe! "Huge" was super friendly, funny, and was clearly concerned with the quality of our meal/experience. Definitely stop by while in Chicago if you love tacos!!

Excellent food and interesting combinations. They have a little bit of everything. Featured on diners, drive-ins, and dives; and you can see why as soon as you walk in. Awesome graffiti mural on the wall. One of the owners served us. Cannot wait to go back. Truly a wonderful experience. Try the Kimchi with anything.

Yes, this is the place from Diner's Drive-ins and Dives, don't order the pork belly po' boy, the fatty bits thrown in the deep fryer give it a very rotten smell and gamey flavor. Order the tacos or get a burger, I've tried all of the taco's and all of them are delicious.

Great food! For low price. The staff was so warm and welcoming. We had a couple different tacos (I had a fish and a carnitas) and a Chicago dog. This place is also byob.

The guy at the counter was friendly and walked me through what each taco was made of, and I got myself a samurai taco which he said was one of the bestsellers. The taco was tasty and quite tasty and service was fast.

Good fish. Fries were pretty good with sea salt. Great prices. Menu has lots of choices. Saw it on the food network so thought Id give it a try and glad I did.

I was in town for business and I went out of my way to find this place and I was very happy. The vibe is ecliptic and the food is fresh comfort food.

We had a deep fried grilled cheese, a Zues burger, and some fries. Oddly enough, we liked the grilled cheese more than the burger. The atmosphere was really cool though

My wife and I eat here quite frequently, especially when they have a $20 value Groupon for $12. We always order the Shrimp Poboys, Truffle Fries and fountain drink. With the Groupon it comes to about $16, plus a tip on top of that. Food is delicious and the value can't be beat.

This hole in the wall restaurant is small..quaint..delicious food! "Huge", the guy behind the register who took your orders seem to know everyone. It is like Mexican sushi that is just amazing! Some are more spicy that others but he will help you decide which to get. Would highly recommend this place...parking on street. You will not believe it. Tried so many with our group cannot just recommend one...try lots!! Either carry out and sit in.

The Big and Little's burger was so delicious, I was craving a burger and beer after house hunting. The fries are so crisp and not the least big greasy. The Chicago dog was so fresh and tasty I could have eaten 3 more with no problem. The main thing about this place is the young man that took our order. He is friendly, attentive, and very personable. We'll go back for sure

This has been an unvisited bookmark for a while and I apologize to myself for taking so long. I suspected I could have survived with only two tacos but was (thankfully) talked into getting three: Japanese beef short rib. Perfect ratio of savory and slightly sweet. Al Pastor. Medium spice level and outstanding savory-seasoned protein. Ahi Poke, buttery smooth, slightly spicy soy undertones and perfect citrus compliment with a squeeze of the included lemon. I am already looking forward to subsequent visits so I can work my way through the menu. Don't wait like I did. Go now

You'll be greeted with a warm "hello" and get treated like family! They like helping you find exactly the right meal/taco combo. They really do poke (raw tuna) right! You really can't go wrong with whatever you order here... you're going to love it! Suggestions are---truffle fries, fish tacos, and their pork tacos. Guy from diners and drives might have helped them with getting noticed, but they bring the awesome to tacos with/without Guy! Plan on spending about $10-12 a person, and getting stuffed! The only problem I see is not being able to eat everything on the menu in one visit.... keep bring the local/outstanding food! I can't wait to come back

My family and I stopped in here for dinner recently. The menu has a mix of everything so we all were able to get what we wanted. I had the Zeus burger. It’s easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. My wife’s tacos were delicious as well. The Cajun fries we split were the perfect size and had great flavor. It’s a must visit in the area.

This place has the most amazing tacos I've ever had. The staff was very helpful and I can't recommend the place highly enough. Not fancy, but innovative.

We came here for dinner one evening. It's a BYOB restaurant so we did just that. They have over a dozen specialty tacos to choose from along with wraps, burgers, and sandwiches too. I ordered two different types of the tacos. One was the Banh Mi which had fried white fish, cucumbers, carrots, pickled jalapeños, cilantro, pickled red onions, tartar sauce, lime juice and sesame seeds. The other was the Japanese beef short rib. It consisted of shredded beef short rib, queso fresco, pickle jalapeños, onions and some sort of sauce. Both we're great tasting but a bit on the small side. The tacos are good but at $2.99 per taco the cost can add up so be warned. The seating area was a total mess. Nothing was cleaned up. The floor was filthy, the tables are filthy and the garbage cans were overflowing. This really needs to be addressed. Overall we had a good meal but please keep up with keeping the interior clean.

From the number of people filtering in and out, my friend and I could tell that this casual diner was clearly a neighborhood favorite. I ordered fish and chips, which was delivered piping hot and in a portion so massive we probably could have shared. Service was ultra friendly and the food was delicious!

On the trip, when we were running short of time, we went to this restaurant on the advice of one of my travelling companions. His review completely oversold the restaurant. While everything here is okay, nothing is special. I found the place reasonably priced, with quick service, and of reasonable quality. But I wasn't wowed. Still, a good place to eat; I wouldn't seek it out, but I wouldn't avoid it.
Guy was right.
DDD led me to B&L. All of the fish tacos are fabulous, and particularly partial to the Bahn Mi and Thai fish tacos. Ahi Poke Crunch Wrap harkens the northshore of Oahu.
