First Meal as Mr. and Mrs. Bade

By Mollie B |

As husband and wife we had not traveled much yet. We found BJ's on our way to out hotel and we were starving. the food was amazing. We are now getting a BJ's in our hometown of Longview!!!!

Slow Service/ Decent food/ Great drinks

By Tundrajs |

My experience with BJs has been consistent. Very slow service. Very slow. Did I say slow? I went in on on a Saturday early evening to a restaurant at maybe, 40% capacity. Plenty of servers were walking around. They were very polite and cordial. They just seemed more interested in talking on the phone or to each other than doing their job. The food was decent. I wasn't exodcting anything more. The drinks were excellent. Although when a server spills half your drink, laughs it off and walks away, I tend to not be very happy.

Family Friendly Brewhouse

By Bonnie N |

Big selection of fresh brewed beer and cider. Healthy food choices and great tasting dishes. Friendly servers and nice atmosphere

Wide variety of foods

By JOJO7164 |

A nice place to relax, watch sports, enjoy a handcrafted beer , appetizers, and a main dish. Open and friendly. Salads are chopped which makes eating them easier. Burgers are good, along with many chicken dishes. Wait staff caring and friendly!

First Class Dining Experience

By VanEsq12 |

My husband and I ended up at this restaurant by default, after we literally walked out of the Magic Time Machine next door. Our mood had been soured by a negative experience with their competitor, and so our expectations were low when we walked in. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! This place was great! Although the restaurant was full, the seating arrangement is such that it can hold a lot of people without giving you the feeling of being crowded. We were seated right away, and offered drinks and appetizers almost immediately once seated. The menu is diverse and reasonably priced. Our meals were hot, delicious and exactly what we'd been looking for! We will definitely be eating at this restaurant again!

Disappointed

By Britt H |

I went to BJ'S at the advice of a friend who said it was amazing. We had a group of 6 who had all been there before and simply raved about the food and service. However, the night I was there, our server was inattentive and we had to send back almost all of our food because it was either cold or undercooked. I won't be returning.

Large Menu

By Ellada H |

This place is huge! It has a large menu with a great variety of beers. A group of colleagues walked from the hotel. We ordered the Calamari for appetizer which was very good. Pizza, steak, and mahi mahi were among the diners ordered. Good American dishes!

Food Good, Service Just "OK"

By Dave S |

Stopped in here to celebrate a special day and we were seated right away. Server did a great job on greeting and taking drink order but got drinks wrong upon return. Took our food order and got them right and the food was very good and we had a good time. Server let my drink get bone dry more than once and really never checked on us. In fact, we were here before on a visit to Dallas about 5 months ago and the service was not very good either. My fear is that the restaurant does so well because of the good food, good drinks and people over look the average service. Their desserts are awesome too. We'll keep coming back and I think visitors will continue to dine there and if you can look past the service from wait staff, you'll have a really nice time and a really nice meal.

Our food arrived before our drinks

By Sherilyn S |

Six ladies arrived about 10:15 on a Friday night wanting to celebrate and have some food. One waiter was waiting on the entire bar area. It took 25 mins for me to get a bottled beer. We had placed an order for some avocado egg rolls. They arrived well before our drinks. The waiter was very attentive to our water glasses. Not sure if they have a back bartender but the front bartender didn’t seem that busy. 3 of us got our drinks before our other food arrived, three after the food. The frustrating part is seeing the manger standing around. If it takes that long to get drinks he should be busting his behind to help the waitstaff.

fantastic service

By Jim H |

I'm a fan of BJ's and have dined in a number of other BJ's but I really want to compliment the staff at this BJ's. We walked in without any reservations and asked if they could accommodate a party of 12-15 people -- we weren't even sure how many were going to show up. The staff was extremely professional and TOTALLY UNFLUSTERED by our request. They immediately started pulling some tables together (granted - it was a Tuesday night and they weren't packed but they handled our request with the utmost professionalism). Our party did ultimately include 15 people and they assigned 2 waiters to handle our group. The wait staff concentrated on drink orders and appetizers first and then moved to our dinner orders. The staff was attentive and took extremely good care of us. The drinks and appetizers came out promptly and our entrees followed without any delays. With a group of this size - suffice it to say we ordered a variety of entrees ranging from salads to pizzas, to burgers, etc. Everyone was well pleased with their meal and with the service. I'm still impressed with the staff's ability to handle a party of 15 without any stress or fuss. Thanks.

Disappointed

By laurieap236 |

Disappointed We ordered take-out for late night (11 pm). Wedge salads were very "rusty"-not fresh ok lettuce. Blue cheese dressing was good, child's pizza tasted good. We requested plasticware because we were staying in a hotel and did not receive it. It's difficult to eat a salad without utensils!

Lost their taste

By John-Galt-Of-Dallas |

Granted that's it's been about 6 months since were at BJ's, but they seem to have lost the taste of the food during that time. The stuffed mushrooms were so bad they comped them for us. The burger was like a veggie burger, the thin fries too thin and only warm. The shrimp/pasta had overdone pasta. We'll probably give them another try in a couple of months, but then that's it.

Pre-Concert dinner

By PeterN |

Chose to eat here on the way to an event, was not disappointed with the food or service. Arrived relatively early for a weekday dinner at 5:15. Did not bother with an appetizer but did enjoy the Fresh Atlantic Salmon offered on the seafood entree list. It came with steamed broccoli and lemon butter sauce to complement the flavor. For a last minute choice this turned out to be a reasonable place to eat with decent service and good food.

Great lunch

By Nancy S |

I have been to this restaurant many times in the past but I had the best lunch a few days ago. I specifically ordered my salmon to be grilled without oil and my vegetables to be steamed with a bit of seasoning. Both came out perfect and I was sorry to eat the last bite of each. I made sure to tell our server about my perfectly cooked lunch and to pass it on to the chef.

always a winner and I enjoy the points for future free items

By skylanders |

We met someone very special to us and had a lovely evening, great food, all 3 liked food, good service all around great evening, they couldn't help the rain storm but we gave up table to new customers and sat in the lobby till it let up!

Great quick meal!

By Christopher M |

Was travelling with a colleague from Germany, and he wanted to grab lunch before heading to DFW for the long flight back home. When our server (Andrew M) seated us, we told him we were in a hurry due to having to get to the airport and had an hour tops. He had us out of there in 25 minutes!! And the place was PACKED! We had excellent food and really appreciated the quick service when we needed it! Great place to eat and awesome service!

Calamari and much more

By Irene M |

Love the Root beer to start with in a ice cold mug. Big menu to view salads , burger , pasta and much more. Food had a great taste. Fish tacos always good. Service very good.

Horrible Food & Horrible Service

By rjtoc2 |

I realize that most folks write a review when they are: 1) really satisfied, or 2) really not. Well, I've written several reviews and I strive to be as fair as possible. That being said, my experience here was absolutely horrific. I ordered a simple dish - shrimp teriyaki. When it was delivered by the host, it appeared as if someone had dumped a bunch of scraps on my plate and hoped it'd past muster. As I began to look at my selection, it was obvious that the person who prepared it did not care one bit about how poor the presentation was. The coup de' grace was the rice. It appeared as if the bed of rice was one big piece of overcooked plastic. To exacerbate the issue, I informed the host that I was not pleased with the quality of the food that was delivered. He gave a quizzical look and replied, "...whatever dude... do you want something else?" At that point, I answered "nope... I think I'll pass". He then quit serving our table. Bear in mind, my friend was still eating her meal (which was also of poor quality but edible). Long story short, he finally returned to deliver our check. In the 20 minutes or so after I returned my entree, our host returned only to bring the check to us. At no time did the manager even glance our way. In a nutshell, a trip to the local McDonalds would have been more appetizing and productive.

Fun environment, great art on the walls, service cool, food great

By Pepper |

Classy and large place for causal food and a high energy atmosphere. .really nice murals on the walls. I loved my tortilla soup and the burgers were great. Also tasted my friends tacos which were very good. Brussels sprouts were terrific too- and lots of them. There were twelve of us and the service was good- which is hard to do with big parties. I didn't have beer but a few people did and said there was a good selection. I liked the feel of the place and I hope to go back and try some of the other options. There were plenty of them! The deep dish pizza looked fantastic- I was envious of my friend,

Amazing place!

Just have an amazing time in BJ's restaurant and brewhouse! Went there with family and everyone enjoyed a lot the place! Highly recommend it!

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse 4901 Belt Line Rd, Dallas, TX

By Ge0rgetravels |

This was my first visit to a BJ's Restaurant but it won't be my last! Great open roomy atmosphere! Friendly, helpful servers and staff! A huge menu with lots of choices! Something foe every taste!! Food was delicious and prepared as ordered! No complaints what so ever! Just a great meal at reasonable prices!

good service, diverse menu

By KMillerNewYork |

Since it was within walking distance from our hotel, we went 3 times in 3 days! We had 1 lunch and 1 dinner and another dinner at the bar. Everytime, we were seated almost immediately, even when they were very busy. The service was always good and the menu very diverse. The food wasn't 4 star, but good. When my husband goes to this area for business, he always goes to BJ's. He enjoys their unlimited soup and salad. With the restaurant being in the vicinity of at least 20 other restaurants, I would definilety recommend this one for a good meal.

Disappointed

By Janine B |

Just wanted a decent late dinner after arriving in town. The service, what service? Waited a while just for water. I ordered a seared ahi salad that was not fresh and the appetizer wings were dry. We will not be back.

Not too bad

By TheRealJ0E |

Not a bad place to grab a bite. Had the Ahi Tuna salad and the clam chowder bowl. Not bad. The clam chowder bowl was the best I’ve ever had. Served in a sourdough bowl with a butter garlic sourdough toasted top. Great big bites of clam in the chowder. The salad was pretty good. It was a little soggy and the Tuna was... kinda weird, but not bad. Service was great.

Good Restaurant and nice Bar/Restaurant for a late night dinner

By Don P |

The restaurant has a very large menu (really too large as it takes some wading through the first time you go there). Its open until 1AM on Friday and Saturday so you can sit in the Bar area and get restaurant food in a very nice ambiance. It was not crowded at 10PM, and has more relaxed atmosphere then during peak dinner hour. The beer is very good. There were three of us and we tried 3 different brews that are made by BJ's. I liked the nutty brunette, others liked the Brewhouse Blonde and there was also a vote for the Cherry Burst cider. I went for a light meal to go with the beer, Cobb Salad. Often this is so loaded with stuff that is highly caloric and not at all light. The Cob Salad at BJ's was lightly dressed with flavorful feta, it was very good.

Exceptional!

By Texas Voyager |

Our daughter had just flown in for the holidays and her first choice for a late lunch was BJ's. Done. Our server was quite memorable for his warmth, friendliness, attentiveness, and engagement. My wife and I split the amazing Chicken Club and our daughter had the classic BJ's Bacon Cheeseburger. Both were perfect. As with every BJ's, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It's a bit on the pricier side but quite worth it.

Excellent service and food

By Nicole D |

Our family went here for the first time and was very impressed with the item choices on the menu. The food was excellent and the service even better. I don't think one of us ever had an empty glass. Great atmosphere too.

Hooters or BJ's?

By PookyCake |

I attended BJ’s with a group of friends. We decided to patronize this restaurant because it was close to our hotel accommodations (about a 5-minute walk). It was a weekend, so the place was understandably busy; however, we managed to secure a large enough table to satisfy our group. Service, initially, was good but degraded as the evening wore on. For instance, when we started our evening repast, our orders were taken promptly and drinks delivered quickly; however, when refills were requested, many of us had to wait in excess of 20 minutes while still others never received their requested drinks – even after flagging multiple servers down to remind them. On the one hand, I can sort of understand because it wasn’t exactly a quiet night but, on the other hand, there were ample servers mulling about – with some paying special attention to larger tables that were ordering even more drinks. This obvious preference for those who’ll down the most drinks always gets me, be it at BJ’s or any other pub or brewhouse. In any event, the atmosphere at BJ’s is, to my mind, pretty standard pub fare: Dim lighting, high exposed ceilings and a quasi rustic-modern look. In short, there’s nothing – ambiance wise – that really sets them apart. The menu, though, is pretty wide ranging and includes everything from typical pub grub to more interesting entries like their “Enlightened” (i.e.: healthier) selection. I suspect the menu is as varied as it is because, on top of being a happening place for a night out it also functions as a family restaurant. Because I wasn’t feeling overly hungry, I kept my order on the lighter side: Signature chicken wings w/ buffalo sauce, followed by the Caesar Salad with the addition of prawns. Given how busy the place was, everybody’s food arrived in good time. On the whole, though, I’d say the offerings – at least what I had – was average at best. The Caesar Salad was unremarkable; the dressing tasted like it came out of a bottle, the croutons were over-sized and the shrimp, instead of complementing the salad, ended up detracting from it because they were so over-saturated with Cajun seasoning salt . . . it was all you could taste. If I wanted Louisiana-style Cajun cuisine, I would’ve asked for it. And my chicken wings? Well, they were something of a missed opportunity. I really liked the buffalo sauce – flavourful and not overpowering – but the wings themselves were a downer. In a few words, they were uneven in cook. Some had the nice crispy exterior and juicy interior, but most were like chicken jerky. Not good. FOOD: 2/5 SERVICE: 3/5 VALUE: 3/5 (decent price) RECOMMENDATION: Well, this place was certainly close to the hotel but it didn’t have me pining to come back for more. Service was average and the food didn’t exactly blow me off my feet – not even close. But then, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing? BJ’s says they were “born in pizza,” so maybe I should’ve had that instead? Some in our group asked “Hooters or BJ’s?” Maybe next time we’ll choose the former. Fast service on a busy Friday night...good food.

By Stawzie |

Visited BJ's because it was within walking distance of our hotel. Was slightly overwhelmed by the size of the menu...once I narrowed down the choice, I was pleased with the food. Had the tomato bisque soup, which was very good and Hubbie and I split a Black and Bleu burger (okay, he had two thirds and I had a third). It was very good and we had the wedge fries as the side, which were not crisp and just okay. Service was fast and friendly and she had a great attitude serving the six of us. Someone in our group ordered pizza and it looked good enough that I want to return to BJ's to try it. A good experience!

Decent food, decent price

By rymharris76 |

Pretty good food, pretty decent price. Not really anything to go out of the way for, unless you are looking for "microbrewery" beers that are pretty much mass produced. If you are in the neighborhood and need a quick pick me up, they do have good happy hour prices on drinks, and Tuesday is half price wine, but no Mitch to go out of your way for.

Do not eat here if...

By Rescue |

You want to eat at a clean restaurant (the menu was dirty, the floor had trash on it that staff repeatedly walked over, food debris was on tables and chairs, the restroom had paper towels and toilet paper on the floor and the trash receptacle was overflowing). Do not eat here if you want good service. The server did not know basic ingredients of an appetizer, did not ascertain satisfaction, remember what we were drinking, clear plates from the table, box up the food requested to go, or thank by name. He did lean against the wall and talk with other staff. He also disappeared for long periods of time to where we had to ask other staff to get him for us so we could get the check. In looking at the other reviews, suggest management changes the culture of the establishment because the one they have now, is not focused on the guest experience. On top of that, the appetizer was dry as was the fish.

Fun

We come here all the time when we arrived in town. Food is good, service has always been good, atmosphere is great and you have many TV's to choose from.

Dinner Date

By shelby d |

My A M A Z I N G boyfriend took me to BJ's for a dinner date. Our server was GREAT!!! We couldn't ask for a better server. I had the Mahi-Mahi with a side of Shrimp and Asparagus and also a glass of red wine! It was not the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had chicken parmesan with a side of potatoes and broccoli. Of course I had to steal a little bite of his and his food tasted GREAT! The dessert was excellent! You should go try this place out.

BEST BREWS & BURGERS

By veer2808 |

A really cool place for the best handcrafted beers and burgers in Dallas is BJ's. Try their Bison Bugers, Hot Crispy Chocken Sandwich and the Caprese Piadina - truly outstanding! Service is a little slow especially during peak dining hours but the food is worth it.

Excellent ribs

By Kawa47 |

Ive tried various rib places in Dallas..Social house, houstons, Kennys , Riskeys ETC and BJ's is not the most expensive but the BEST (for me) I Love their ribs and rate them very high (best in world for me was princess Di's old hang out the chicago rib shack in London). Tasty , big portion and not overly smothered in overwhelming BBQ sauce. You get a baked potato (maybe other choice?) and sour cream. My only complaint is no coleslaw with meal and I ordered some and it was tasteless and dry. Ive now been here 3 times and love it. Its a huge restaurant, staff are effiecient and you can wait at bar (with a buzzer) for table to be ready which is usually fast. Its not as stylish as the other places I mentioned but has a good happy friendly vibe. If you are 4 or less try for a booth. Ive been twice with 4 but once with 13 and they can handle many large groups.

Great food

By Michael W |

Table at the bar. Excellent waiter from Cleveland who knew his brews well. Good fish tacoa, tad dry, but the homemade salsa really made them great. Looking forward to reading again.

Really good brew!

By lizzylory |

My spouse & I have always wanted to "experience BJs. We were staying at the La Quinta, right across the street, so it was a VERY short walk & so worth it. We were able to sample a few of their house brews, which were all smooth & cold, so good on a warm (& humid summer day). BJs offered a 10% discount on any food orders, as long as you showed your hotel card key. We went for a couple of appetizers to go, which were SSSOOO GGGOOOOOODDD!!! Total bill=$35 (including tip)...We will be going back! My favorite was the blonde brew, while hubby enjoyed the more "hoppy" ones...These are all brewed either in Houston, San Antonio, Temple, or there in Dallas & they are SMOOTH!This BJs is really in Addison, suburb of Dallas, so if you are ever that way, stop in & taste! You will not regret it!!

Good food

By Renl2614 |

I had never heard of BJ's and my sisters recommended them for lunch. They have a wide variety of food to chose from, good service and good food.

Impressive selection of beer & good food

By DaveAngel_UK |

Large group of us - attentive service. Great selection of beers and good food. Only down side (probably because we were a large group) was it was a bit cramped.

Their Beer is good but food was disappointing.

By Zantastic |

I went here with some friends after Thanksgiving for a quick dinner. We were seated immediately (which was nice) and the wait staff was polite. The beer was good, if a little expensive for how much they pour. My big complaint is with the food. I ordered the bison burger cooked medium, and it came out well. The meat was also very dry--bison is hard to cook with because it's a naturally lean meat, but this had almost no moisture. I found myself drinking water between bites. But the rest of the table's food came out fine, so I was the odd one out.

Great menu

By thegriesers |

I'm not big on local brews, but BJ's in Plano has a great list. I had the Tuna Salad and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had a deep dish pizza and ate the whole thing. Ian was our waiter and did a great job. Pizza, beer, a diverse menu and good service makes it a regular stop gor us.

Great Food Average Service

By horaceb136 |

If you do not mind the ever so frequent inconveniences the food is fantastic and well worth the trip. However, they come up short on the quality of service. I would return for the food but would have to be prepared for their service. Do not let that hold you back as you will have a great selection of great fare.

Ok food

By DC_Travels12 |

was recommended this restaurant from the hotel and a traveler at the hotel, but the food was average at best.

Never disappoints!

By Michaelwebb1 |

Me, my wife and kids are all huge fans of Bjs, any location we've been too. Those potato skins are killers every time. And of course, everyone should eat a pazzookie once(or twenty) times in their life! The service was excellent, I forgot to get the servers name but he was very friendly and super helpful with helping us pick out new things to try!! Love it all!

Average Food, Slow Kitchen

By bobemac |

Our server was well informed and conscientious. They have a long list of craft brews. The Blondie and Jeremiah Red were good. The spinach and cheese dip with chips was tasty. The boneless wings were decent and done right. Their deep dish pizza is not inexpensive and the crust is a lot of air, the tomato bits are dry and flavorless. Their pizza is not as good as a Little Caesar's deep dish, and that one is $8. When we ordered dessert they "had a shift change" so we waited 25 minutes for an apple berry dessert. This is a busy and attractive place, and is a part of a big chain operation. I prefer the individually owned operations, only because they are unique and endangered.

Excellent food, excellent service!

By jllantin |

We are always very pleased with BJ's nice food and exceptional service. Three of us tried grill salmon, the flavor was exceptional. Great experience.

WIde Selection--great microbrewery

By Terry S |

Absolutely great food and beer Reasonable prices with great service. The Blond beer is a great tasting brew and fantastic pizza.

Not Family Friendly

By Dan M |

Not family friendly. I went to the restaurant with my daughter, and my grandson who is a four year old autistic child. We sat down and ordered our food. The child had a small outburst, but we didn’t think anything of it, because this was a sports bar and grill, and noisiness is not uncommon. And then in a few minutes the hostess came over to us, and asked us to move to another section of the restaurant. We explained to the hostess that the child was a low functioning autistic child with brain damage, but that didn’t matter to her. So we moved. We sat down and wondered what happened and apparently somebody complained about the child’s outburst. So we thought about it for about a few minutes, and my daughter was brought to tears. We got up and left the restaurant never to ever return.

Don’t miss the quarterly beer dinner!

By Kelly E |

The beer dinner is fantastic every time. Well worth the price for the food alone and they do a great job on the beer themes and variety. Jeff keeps things running efficiently. We come back every quarter; wouldn’t miss it!

Business trip with unexpected highlights for eating.

By Penny Myers Y |

I had a wedge salad and it was super good. Also had a fun and upbeat atmosphere and the service was great!

Good food and beers, inconsistant service

By Kragh F |

I was in Addison on business for a week. I had never been to a BJ's before, but, it was very close to my hotel. On Sunday night, I found a small high top table near the bar and in full view of the TV's. My waitress was excellent, she gave me food recommendations, showed new dishes, talked about the special beers, and was always there to check on me. The second night I sat at the bar and Mario took care of me. He is a real asset for sure. I returned on a Wednesday night and sat at a high top table again, in the bar area. The waitress couldn't care less about what she was doing, service was slow, she rarely checked on me, I had to go to the bar to get a new beer which was annoying. The food was consistently good, the beer selection is excellent, but, when you have human beings waiting on you, sometimes you get somebody that isn't at their best. Overall, the quality of the food and beer, the overall ambiance and decor and vibe was very good, would return.

BJ's - large menu, good food

By dcalianno |

BJ's is a restaurant chain and has a pretty large food, beer and bar menu. It is a good place to go with kids and families. They also have TV's for the sports fanatics. The food is good and consistent. At this location, we had a rally good server as well

Home brew is great

By Jimmy P |

We stopped for a quick beer or two and I had their HopStorm IPA, delicious. That is if you like a "hoppy" beer, which I LOVE! Great service and convenient location.

Great service, great special (Monday), great food!

By tmartazu |

When I think of BJ's I think "great burgers, and great pizza". So today, I was thinking "great pizza" and stopped in for lunch for a deep dish BJ's Favorite. I started out ordering a Medium BJ's Favorite Deep Dish pizza (which is totally awesome). But the waiter quickly informed me that the large was on sale today (Monday's) for 1/2 price. No doubt in my mind...ordered the large. Awesome pizza, and awesome for leftovers...how can you go wrong?

Excellent Beers and Food

By pm0208 |

Stayed at the Intercontinental which was just around the corner from BJ's. The food here is great (good ribs). Their own beers are also pretty good and a great wine list. Atmosphere is terrific and even when it was pretty much a full house (as it was the night we went) it was not all that noisy. We didnt book but the staff found a table for us pretty much straight away. Service is good and friendly as well. If in Addison Texas this place is well worth a visit even if you just want a drink at the bar and some bar food and not a full blown meal.

Brewery of Your Choice

By Kaan Erbaydar |

Whenever I go to a BJ's resturant, I always find a very warm welcome, delicious food and nice selection of local brewed beers. It's my preference to drink the local brews. So I go with that. To me, beer should be served with its thick foam on, otherwise it looks like savage water. This time when I was in BJ's Dallas branch, like always I do, I ordered a selection of in-house brewed beers. And the beers came without the foam, and what I noticed is they weren't chilled enough. So this should definitely be improved in this particular branch. Other than that, the food I ate was okay, service was good as always.

Think twice before stopping here

By Brian H Texasjetman |

Just not impressed, I understand shift change, but to be completely screwed up from the beginning to the end on the tab with three issues requiring adjustments to be made to my final bill, the happy hour pricing is a complete mess, garlic chicken pesto flat bread style pizza was pretty good but for $15.25 I would hardly call this a bargain at even half this price, then ordered the small gourmet five meat again at $15.75 this would not be considered a decent snack or small meal at half this price, just one disappointment after another, Not just basing this on this experience I am comparing this location to many others in the Dallas area, this has to be the worst on the list.

Great food

By arun |

They have many options to choose from. Their soup & salad combo is very good. The rib eye stake was excellent

Cement Mixer

By sydtay |

Went in for a light meal and beverage. The crowd was medium there were a couple of seats open at the bar. We ordered our beverage we talked briefly with the bartender and bartender in training. The beverage arrived and the glass was so disgusting. My beverage was served in a dirty glass. How can you not know as soon as I touched it I felt that grime on the glass and started looking at it, there were lip prints and finger prints and slop all over this glass. We waived in the direction...nothing, we sat, and sat and sat waiting for one of the two bartenders to come and check in. They were staying at the other end of the bar chatting with each other, chatting with the clients at the end of the bar. The main bartender even turned her back to our end of the bar, lounged her body along the edge of the bar and continued to laugh and chat it up with the guys that were at the other end of the bar. A gentleman came in sat down next to me, looked through the menu and beverage menu. Then waited and waited no service. I told him we had been waiting and they seem not interested in our end of the bar. He said he would go get their attention. He walked down to where they were huddled. A short time later the main bartender came down asked for his order and then walked away, got his order still ignoring me and the dirty glass drink that I sent back and still did not have. A gal walked by and noticed I still did not have my drink and the social hour at the other end was in full swing, she gave me a smile and stated she would get the drink to me, she did. She was a delight. A few minutes later the main bartender came down with a shot for the gentlemen sitting next to me. She let him know that it was from a guy at the (social end) of the bar. The gentlemen said no thank you, I do not know that person and I do not want this drink. The bartender just walked away, leaving the shot. How bizarre, you reject a shot and they just leave it anyway. The gentlemen next to me told me the shot was called a "Cement Mixer" and it is a joke drink sent to someone you do not like a non friend, or a friend as a joke. Being he did not know person who sent the shot it was real clear it was sent as a non friend. When taken the shot changes to the consistency of cottage cheese in your mouth....I was floored. It is one thing for someone to want to send this to a stranger but the bartender who was a part of the group of which the shot came from should know better. She made the drink, she knows what the drink is and she delivered the drink, and left the drink when it was rejected. This could have turned bad real fast. In this day and age of tensions and unrest this could have ended in a fight and or someone being shot. The bartender should have been the bigger person. We had ordered an appetizer platter and had been waiting for it for thirty minutes when this event took place and we decided there are way to many places on Belt Line that offer MUCH better service at which we could spend our money. We requested our check the platter was on it, we asked that it be removed since we never got it, he took the check back, quick printed out another without the platter, no apology, no thank you, nothing...WOW We went to the hostess desk and ask for the manager on duty. She was so shy and timid and overwhelmed. She wanted to offer us a discount card or something. I let her know we were not telling her about the bad experience to be paid to come back. That if we ever choice to grace their door again we will do it on our own accord. She wanted to know what she could do to have us come back. I suggested she fix the problems she has. At one point a server went to the end of the bar looking for her clients order. She saw what was happening and went and got someone who went behind the bar and made the drinks the server was waiting for. We just shook our heads when we witnessed this, it was not until we spoke with the same person (the manager) upon our exit. She is not helping the situation is she allows this to go on and she just steps behind the bar and makes the drinks when a server comes to her. I understand that business has to flow and you do what you have to do to get to the end of the shift or end of the evening. But this was so far from acceptable, the bartender should have been sent home on the spot.

Excellent

Stopped by for lunch. Restaurant was clean. Restrooms were clean. Service was excellent. Food was out quickly. Waitress was very professional. Had an appetizer for a meal. Was the avocado egg rolls. Simply delicious. Really enjoyed my meal.

Good lunches

By ChopperBenny |

They have good lunch specials. Ribs were ok. Salad is also ok. Pizza was really good. Enjoyed the monkey dessert

A saturday afternoon lunch

By jlwilliams0620 |

It's a great place to go with lots of options for everyone. I like that there's gluten free pizza. Sometimes the drinks are hit or miss. The Mediterranean tacos are amazing though!

Very tasty

By Jorge L |

I love the place, very nice enviroment ,nice people , very good service , the dishes super tasty with good portions. All kind of beers that they have, is very difficult to decide but I recommend to taste the mix beers

Thursday Night!

Most wonderful ribs...great price, superb dinner and dessert! The meal was more than we could eat and every bite better than the last! We encourage you to try it!

Very enjoyable visit

By SGHTulsa |

Recently ate here with a group of 7 while attending a conference nearby. Great service and an interesting menu. Each of us enjoyed our food (I had spicy chicken with soba noodles--very tasty). Lots of TVs (good views from about every table and the bar), so it was a great place to watch the World Series or other sporting events. Fun ambience. I look forward to returning the next time I'm in Addison.

Rack of Ribs and service very good

The only time this week I got a great meal - Service too was good - Atmosphere was also helped into a good experience

Great Service and Beer

By Robert Forsythe |

Our waiter, AJ, was great even though it was a busy Friday night, making my Grand-girls feel special. The Grand Cru is delicious.

Awesome Beer

By Ash R |

I love their own made beer and the food was great too. The restaurant was busy and the waitress did take care of us. The atmosphere is nice and good looking interior. Will be back next time in Dallas.

Decent food and decent service

By Robert P |

I can't say this location is stellar, but it is solid. Service was decent, but didn't wow me. Food was average for a place that serves such a variety. To be honest, I go to try their occasional new beers on tap. They can put some interesting stuff out there and having food that isn't bad to go with it is a nice change.

Food : OK. Service: Not OK

By Jim D |

While we were there on a Friday at Noon, they were about half full. We were seated immediately but waited over twenty minutes for a server. Another ten for water. The food was fine, one of us had a half chicken sandwich with chowder. Sandwich was good but the chowder was only luke warm. Second member had the “all you can eat” soup and salad. Salad was average, soup was only warm. Next trip, the soup was changed to chili. Same results. My order was the sausage snack tray. It was very good. Service as very very slow.

Disorganized and horrible, slow service and !

By Peri C |

I made the error of visiting this BJ's location after having so many great dining experiences at the Lewisville location over many years. The wait time at 7:00 pm on a Thursday night was supposedly 15 minutes. I took the pager but then decided that my father and I were so hungry that we could stand the noise in the bar area next to a table full of obnoxious people who were already stumbling drunk when we arrived. It took about 10 minutes for any waitress to stop by sans menus or water. My father ordered a bottled beer, and I said I needed to see the menu before ordering a drink. I also said we wanted to order food. After at least another 10 minutes a random waitress came from the bar (we were at a table for two right across the doorway of the "to go" area next to the bar). The lady had my father's beer but a Long Island Iced Tea that I didn't order that she seemed to think that I had ordered and forgotten because after I told her it wasn't mine she still tried to give it to me. I told her that I hadn't even given a drink order yet! I didn't have water or anything. Our waitress returned after several more mimutes and took my drink order for a hard cider and our food order. At the forty minute mark after we sat down, I went to the bar myself to ask for water. I saw a berry cider pulled that a bartender was carrying wandering with looking for the customer, so I got my cider from him instead of hoping that someone would find me eventually at a table. Apparently their order system needs a tweak. Our waitress wandered past at least four more times without checking on us. She finally seemed to notice my drinks sitting on the bare table and gave me two napkins which didn't begin to make up for me being my own waitress. At the fifty minute mark, I realized that the pager had never gone off for a table and the hostesses had seated the entire line from the lobby and outside including people who came well after us. When I returned the pager and informed them it was defective, there was no apology or question about whether we might still want to move to the dining area. Still no food for me but my father got his side salad delivered by the kitchen. Minutes from the one hour mark as I finished my drink and gathered my purse to leave for a drive through window anywhere, a guy exited the kitchen with our meals. The food was adequate but at that point warm shoe leather would have sufficed. No apology for the long wait. No word to the table of screaming (literally) drunks that were still being served MORE alcohol as we left. I was charged for the drink that I had to serve myself. When I asked the hostess to get a manager as we left that took so long that we walked out. I'm not a "picky" diner or super sensitive to noise or even a reasonable wait when staff is swamped. This entire experience was ridiculously poor. Forty bucks later, I will never set foot in this location again. Addison has more than 100 restaurants in a very close proximity and I will give any of them chance before I return here.

Dinner

By lso275 |

Stopped for dinner after training on Dallas. Had the double bacon burger which was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Beer selection and taste was fantastic. Cost was actually cheaper than I expected. Restaurant is beautiful with plenty of space. Highly recommended.

Sparkling clean!

By scubak32 |

I was impressed with the apparant cleanliness of BJ's. Everything almost sparkled! Had the Barbacoa tacos that came with a side of cold quinoa salad that was outstanding. Salad and tacos had that bright, fresh flavor. Would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Girls Night

By Nettie L |

This restaurant was in the area near our hotel as we needed somewhere to done after driving all day. When you hungry in an unfamiliar area your choice of eatery is critical. We hit the jackpot with this place. The atmosphere was great. The service was good. The food was excellent. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Great vegetarian burger

By ANAND K |

I was there one weekend evening for dinner and as a vegetarian, I wasn't sure whether I would find anything other than onion rings. But their burger was really good. They had a vegetarian burger, which tasted incredible.

Mediocre

By Laura L |

I wanted to make sure I had the correct BJ's because the reviews here are rather positive, unlike our visit tonight. Hostess was less than happy to see us and it went downhill from there. Our server was not at all friendly or attentive. The food runner that delivered our pizza tried to convince us that the italian sausage that was on our pizza was not italian sausage. We were hungry and dining with others so didn't want to cause a fuss. We ate it anyway. The server never asked how our food was. Probably because he could not have cared less. If you want mediocre food and really don't care about customer service then you should be ok with this place. But if I'm paying to eat there, I expect an enthusiastic server, food the way I want it prepared and a thank you when I leave. I don't think that's too much to ask for.

AWESOME Cookie / ice cream desert

By Mike B |

All the food was great but the Hot Cookie and Ice-cream was SOOOOOOO Good. I'll go there for just that!

Pasta Not up to Par - But the beer was Cold!

By Carl C |

Typical BJ's, but the pasta was not cooked as good as usual. Anyway this is a good place to go for Ok food and a sports bar type of atmosphere. The service was good. Better that the food on this night.

Great Appetizers!

By Tanja D |

I had been wanting to visit BJ'S so my husband and I decided to stop by while coming through Addison. The restaurant was nice and the waitress was quick to seat us and take our drink order. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The stuffed mushrooms and egg rolls were good. We may go back but only for appetizers.

Perfect location for large groups

By Robin P |

It was the perfect location for our group. They have a room for groups. Food was excellent and the servers were very helpful.

Good food

By JLP4277 |

First time eating here. Hostesses were very nice and friendly. Very busy atmosphere, but also pretty face paced. My wife loved her Caesar salad, and enjoyed her Chicken fettuccine dinner. I had the ribs with the seasoned fries. I really liked the rib sauce. Our waiter was very friendly and knew the menu pretty well. My wife and I plan on going back when we come back to Dallas.

delightful

By diandra c |

The atmosphere at this restaurant was laid back but classy. If you want to through on your evening attire with some heels you can or if you just want to throw on some jeans you can do it here. The food and service was excellent. I ordered grilled pork chops with mashed potatoes and green beans. My fried ordered as grilled ceasar salad and my husband order shrimp pasta with a side order of salmon (i know crazy huh but the extra piece of salmon was only 4.00 bucks). We were all pleased with our entrees! The salmon was so good I wanted to take it off my husbands plate when he wasn't looking. He ordered a glass of wine and i ordered a dessert beignet and it was superb. We visit Dallas regularly and this will definitely be a must stop the next time we are in town. They something on the menu for every mood that you may be in!

A Sports Bar With Good Beer and Large Menu!

By breinhaugen |

If you are looking for a good sports bar with a wide range of beers and food BJ's is your place. Their menu is quite diverse, ranging from burgers, pizza, ahi tuna, salads, grilled pork chops, sandwiches, and even power bowls. They brew their own beer which is excellent, but they also have a variety of other beer on tap as well. They also have a full bar. They have decent happy hour as well as game day specials. Lots of TVs if you want to watch a game as well.

Always a favorite

By EFfromNJ |

Great restaurant chain, super menu with items of all types. Seasonal brews are fantastic. Beer selection is tough to beat.

Poor Brewhouse Experience

By CraftBeers |

BJ's lifts itself up as a Brewhouse with their own craft beers. I would argue this is a restaurant only that dabbles in craft beer. I stopped going to BJ's as a restaurant because the service is inconsistent. This visit was in the middle of the afternoon with an empty restaurant and only one or two people sitting at the bar. It was a perfect opportunity for the bartender to make this a craft beer experience since it's in their name. No dice! Very poor craft beer service. There was no talk, no questions, no excitement. I tried eight different BJ crafted beers through two separate flights. My bartender did ask which was my favorite, but that was it. He didn't share his thoughts or explain anything about any of the beers. Of the seven I tried, only one hit my palate. The rest were very thin or masked by nitro.

Happy Friday & Fellowship

By peggysuecory |

I came here with a large group here totaling 42 people As always, BJ's never fails to impress me with their quality of food and service. The wait staff were very accommodating with our large group in being both attentive and delivery of food.

Always consistent, extremely large menu

By GNAC-001 |

Prime Rib special- cannot be beat! Always consistent, excellent house beers. Wait service was very attentive, reasonable wait time from order to served. As usual too much food- I always get a to go box..

Great food

By Fritokid |

Went here on a work trip to Dallas it was good, steak was cooked just right and the beer was ice cold if you haven't tried the restaurant. It a must

Good food, great atmosphere

By brendalV8363DL |

We ran upon BJ's while walking around downtown Dallas. Has the most delicious Mexican food. We sat outside and watched the carriages go by and enjoyed the sites and sounds of the city.

Great food and great service!

By Frank N |

7/30/22: This was our first time here and we had a great time! We decided to sit in the bar area. Terre was our hostess and she was great the whole time we were there. Isaiah, was the bartender and he made some really good drinks. Terre was very friendly and was patient with our questions regarding food items and drinks. My fiancée had a Watermelon Mojito and I had a beer flight for starters. We then shared a loaded nachos with chicken, which was huge! We had a second round of drinks and I went with a draft "Light Switch", which was one of the beers in my flight. We had a great couples night and Terre and Isaiah made us feel comfortable and valued. We were pleasantly surprised when a military discount was offered. We met with Elvis, the manager, and expressed our appreciation for Terre and Isaiah. We'll definitely return to this location!

Great for a Fast Lunch! Special Lunch Prices, close to North Tollway.

By Terry W |

Went here today, was seated really fast (considering it was very busy at lunch time), and the waiter came right up! The BBQ Chicken Salad was one of the best I've had in quite a while. I think we got our meal in maybe 10 minutes, and again this was a busy time for them!! I will be going here again, when I'm up in that area of North Dallas.

Typical BJ's

By tripandtravel |

The Bjs are the same with good service and good food and beer. The menu is so large it is hard to decide exactly what you want. They have it all from pizza, to burgers, to salads, to entrees and steak; whatever you feel like. The patio is nice when the weather is.

Black Female Photographers - Vision Conference 2017

By Ann G |

Day 1 of our conference started out with a Meet & Greet at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. The Mojito was the best I’ve ever had and the barbecue wings and potato wedges were amazing. I wish I had gotten some barbecue wings to bring back to my hotel with me.

Good food and nice place

By SeriouB |

The waitress was nice and friendly food was great. I have ate at BJ'S in different cities and have no complains. Was in dallas for my kids soccer games.

Love the Brews

By TCooper4653 |

Great place to get some of the Brewhouse beers. They have a full range of unique beer, best bet is to try them all! The food is usually good, I have never had bad service at this location. It can be busy at lunch, if you don't mind a pub table, those are usually quick seating.

Exceptional American food, well-worth visiting

By Euroerican |

Not only is the staff very friendly each time I go, but the food just keeps getting better and better. Not all of their stuff is great, but most of it - and it's always a pleasant surprise just how good it is. The first time I went, between the three in my group we had baby back ribs, steak with garlic mashed potatoes and Fettuccine Alfredo. The baby back ribs were the best I've ever tasted, the fettuccine was literally the best I have ever had, even better than my favorite (nearly authentic) Italian restaurant in the same area of town, and the steak was pretty good but the least good of the three items. The second time I went, there was salmon and flatbread pizza. The flatbread pizza was nothing exceptional - though it was still very good - and the salmon, I'm told, was delicious. The third time we ordered carry-out and it was the deep dish ravioli and a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was really good, but nothing life changing. The ravioli had a nice flavor but was way too saucy. It needed more meat and pasta, it was just drenched in the sauce. The last time I was there, between the group of four of us we had, fish n' chips - which were really spicy but really good - salmon over quinoa, which was apparently very tasty, the same fettuccine alfredo (because it's absolutely that good!) and the best thing I've probably ever ordered there, which was the grilled chicken and turkey sandwich with wedge potatoes. Dude. Really delicious. For dessert we had pizookies, which are a creation of the gods I do believe. It was like this gigantic cookie in a round oven-plate, that's gooey and heavenly when you bite into it. Just writing about it, is making me want to go eat one... I would definitely recommend B.J.'s to anyone looking for a chill Friday night out! Very relaxed atmosphere and while it tends to get loud and noisy in there - that should just prove that the food is worth while if that many people are always in there. Even on evenings during the week!

Never served, never again

By Christian Z |

Open seating, so we chose to sit outside. After 15 minutes without any server showing up on the patio, chose to get drinks at the bar. Eventually the manager showed up and I pointed out that they seemed under staffed (the situation in the entire establishment seemed to be the same), she disagreed and that was it. It would have been OK to acknowledge that they underestimated the Memorial Sunday traffic... So we finished our drinks and left 30 minutes after that. Nobody asked us whether we wanted to be served, so we just left without ordering anything.

Team Lunch

By esapage |

I must say I had low expectations for this restaurant. I thought it was a glorified Fridays when I saw the menu. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my calamari for an appetizer and to my gluten-free pizza. I wish the servers were a little bit more attentive to where there is group conversation. I felt like they didn’t know how to do the homework pull back when there was a deep conversation going on.

Excellent Beer! GREAT pizza!

By Stagmie |

This is the second visit to BJ's, the first being last year in Oklahoma City, OK. This location was EXTREMELY busy for a Thursday mid day. But the wait staff was totally on the ball and very nice and professional. We, my wife and I, ordered one of their pizzas and I got several of their hand crafted beers. The pizza was, as expected, of the highest quality, and the beer was/is some of the best you'll find anywhere. Why can't something like this open in Alabama? Near me? Why do I have to drive over 600 miles to eat great pics and find great beer?

Very consistent

By Molly M |

It's a chain restaurant with a menu that's all over the place. That being said, it's consistently good. Nothing to rave about, but fresh salads, sandwiches, entrees. I've never been disappointed with anything on the menu. Service is erratic, but it's on a long Restaurant Row. I imagine the wait staff turnover is something else!

Good Food, REALLY Bad Service

By Dave S |

We went out for dinner to celebrate a new career for our daughter. We were seated right away and greeted pretty promptly. We ordered our food and I'm NOT a fan of servers who do not write down orders, especially when things don't come out right. My wife ordered a specialty burger and the server didn't ask any of us how we want that prepared. So I found him at a wait station and let him know that my wife is very particular about the cooking temp of her burger. He said he'll rush back and make sure that it has no pink. She cut into it and there was plenty of pink in there. Took him a while to circle back to check on us. I informed him of the burger and he took it back and did NOT say he was sorry. They did not make her a new one, they scraped off the toppings, put it back on the grill, and then put the toppings back on it. Then they good fresher fries and just put them on top of the fires that were there. When he returned with it, he said he figured it was going to be pink because it was coming out already when he went back. It was just not handled well at all. No apologies at all. He is a terrible server and was a bad representation of this location. We ordered dessert and was surprised he didn't offer to pick that up for us because my wife waited a long time to get her's back. We were all almost done when she was just starting. Great place, great food....one bad server.

Dinner with a friend

By Jim M |

Had dinner with a friend and it was highly recommended to us. Did not disappoint the home brewed beers were very tasty, dinner was very good as well would definitely visit again

Mediocre at best....

By KAK401 |

Dined here in early October because it was around the corner from our hotel. We sat outside on the patio. Food was mediocre. I had a wedge salad (terrible) and the bruschetta appetizer (very good). My partner had a burger. It was average. Service was okay. Waitress was trying hard, but she was the only server assigned to the entire patio. She appeared to be overwhelmed. Not somewhere we would dine again. Additionally, it should be noted that they do allow smoking. Coming from a city and other major vacation areas in which smoking is banned, it was annoying to have the meal interupted by cigarette smoke.

Enjoyable meal

By Carol W |

I enjoyed my service at this place each time I am in town. They have good service and good place. You might have to say something to the hostess about your rewards if she doesnt ask.

Good food and beer

By Stephanie L |

The food was good and they have a wide variety of beers so everyone can find something. Our waitress was wonderful and it was a good experience. I would come here again.

Nothing special here!

By Ron A |

This place has a wide selection on their menu as well as their beers. Their food should be priced a little cheaper. the place was busy on a Friday evening and there's plenty of atmosphere. I liked the fried asparagus for an appetizer. Nothing really special here, we did miss the happy hour for some deals.

Beer was good but those Siracha wings were really reallly good.

By TheTraveller87 |

This place has never let me down. I usually go there for beer but the good is great as well. Their wings are better than some wings I have eaten at wings place. Their craft beer is really good and they have a good selection of the beers in draft and regular bottles as well.

Enjoyed It!

By RIC P |

Excellent restaurant! GREAT staff! Wonderful food! Over all it was a great experience. We loved it all. We will be back for sure. Might be are favorite place now.

It's the best

By Ryan N |

Get the Southern Fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn succotash. Their beers are step above. Finish it off with a Pazookie and live large.

Visit to Dallas

By Peter K |

Local folks recommended BJ's Restuarant & Brewhouse for a casual dinner. I'm from the Midwest and never heard of this chain of restaurants. It is mostly Amercian fare with a bit of Mexican flare. Our group ordered salads, chili and poultry dishes all to our satisfaction. The craft beer menu isn't overwhelming, but the price is right. We were satisfied enough with our dinner to return the next day. I don't know about the other restaurants in their chain, but the Beltline location is above average. The place was clean and the service excellent. A good hangout in Dallas

Food average, staff was great.

By Skysoldier4life |

Have worked in the food service industry before, so I can appreciate when a restaurant is slammed and the staff is making up for it by workings their tails off. Restaurant was very similar to a cheesecake factory- with a menu as thick as an Encyclopedia. Craft beer was surprisingly good, although the food came out as slightly overpriced for what it was. Business lunch, guys.

Great meal

By ct-cruisers |

I was in town on business with coworkers and came here for dinner. We really liked the selection of beers and had fun trying many of them. For dinner I ordered a bowl of quinoa and shrimp which a coworker also ordered. The other ordered a small pan pizza. I thought my meal was very good. The others that so as well. Our server was not the most attentive, but it was a busy time.

Dinner

By TOm J J |

The food is always good, the service is generally good. However this is the second time we've visited this BJ's that they where OUT of PM PORTER BEER. Such a disappointment to get to the restaurant and be told this. We will be branching out and not be so loyal to bjs in the future.

Great Atmosphere...Good Food

By TutinsPony |

This was my first visit to a BJ's and was pleasantly surprised. we went with a large group and the service was great and the food was good. I had a soup and then a salad, and others enjoyed salmon and toasted cheese .......all very tasty. We did not sit in the main bar/restaurant area as we were a large group. There were plenty of TV's if you wanted to watch sports and the beer was also very good, with a great selection.

Lousy Burger

By Glennalan4458 |

It was late and we did not know where to go, but this place looked like we could get a good drink and a decent burger, I mean Dallas is a Steak area. The wine list was OK, and we had a nice glass. The burger we got was thin and overdone, with not much flavor. There are a lot of other choices in the area.

Excellent service

By jllantin |

I went to this location for the second time. The service was excellent. The waiter did an amazing job. The food was exquisite. Definitely we will return.

Great place for lunch

By mangmail |

Stopped here after recent business meeting... Great place for lunch. Exrtensive menu ensures that everyone in your group can find something to like! Great service and reasonable prices. Several of us had the Burgers and they were great. one small negative.. parking lot is shared and really full. it was hard to find a space.

Good food

By Sherri G |

We went on a Tuesday night and our whole family got great food. Pizza, salads, pasta and sandwiches all good. Save room for dessert! They have a delicious cookie dessert which comes in different varieties. My favorite was the caramel one. Hot cookie + ice cream + Caramel topping = Yummy!!! ...and on Tuesday it is half off!! 😍😍😍

Pick up

By James C |

First time using app. App was easy to use. I order chili and a hamburger I ordered the burger Medium rare and that was how it was cooked. As I was walking in my order was coming out of the kitchen. The staff was very helpful. I will be back

To go naturally during the

By Cowtownm |

To go naturally during the corona . Ordered a $15.00 w tax bacon cheese burger w fries meat excellent !! Perfect very stingy w bacon and fries and also lettuce cheese and tomato pickles no onion Please serve a burger w everything on the side By the time you get home the buns wet . Cheese burger was good ! Just don’t believe it was worth $15.00 w tax needs to be much more generous w the fries and toppings please The staff was extra helpful and friendly !!

Average fair and atmosphere, good service

By skeeziks |

I had the flatbread which was pretty tasty but not remarkable. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was typical for a chain brewery. Nice but average. The sangria, on the other hand, was quite good. The restaurant is perhaps a little pricey for the quality. But still a fine dinner choice if staying in the area for business.

Don't waste you time and money!

By minigay |

We went to the restaurant with 11 people . They gave us a waitress who was brand new . poor soul she was beside herself . The service was beyond horrible but not as bad as the food . not one order was correct and the food was cold . We were there 45 minutes until we got water and finally the manager came over and got this poor soul some help. it really didn't help as I said above .The manager ca,e over and competed dinner and gave us coupons for next time but there will not be a next time .Oh the only dish that was decent were the ribs or maybe we were just starved by the time we got our other awful dishes

Excellent food

By Thomas C |

Excellent food and service. Good beer choice. Fast efficient service No complaints, the personal waiters were very polite and helpful. Good choice on the menu and food was excellent. Plenty of large screen TV to watch spots etc.

Great food!

By smreeves99 |

This place was amazing! Went multiple times while on this work trip. The staff was great the food was great. I really recommend the Root beer glazed boneless wings. The beer was great also, really enjoyed the double IPA.

Great service and food

By LktVa |

Are here on a Friday night with a group of five friends. We had excellent service for a busy Friday night. Most of us had steaks and they were very good. Prepared as ordered, well seasoned and very tasty. Our server was very attentive but not intrusive. No problem with a split bill either. Looking forward to the next visit here to try more of the extensive menu.

Good food

By JuBaz_13 |

We had a quick Sunday night meal here. The turkey burger was great. Plenty for a main meal. Sampled the beer which was great. Service was OK. We ordered an entree which didn't arrive but it didn't bother us that much.

Fun place to visit for a bite to eat

By PaulEugeneG |

We wanted something to eat rather late at night, so dropped, as it was near our hotel. The food was really pretty good, the service was pretty mixed. We came back a second time for some late night fare the next night. Food still good, and the service was a bit better than the previous night. Not exceptional, but pretty good!

Slow, overpriced, unappetizing - what's not to love?

By Jon L |

I generally only go to BJ's for the alcoholic root beer after everyplace else has closed, as the food is mediocre. Last night two of us thought a couple of mini-pizzas would be a good option for a post-hockey game snack, and we've had them before at Happy Hour. This time, we pointed to the Happy Hour menu and asked for two of the HH veggie mini-pizzas. We weren't surprised when it took forever for the order to be taken, took forever for the pizzas to come out lukewarm, took forever to get crushed red pepper, and took forever to get the check. What did surprise us was that we had missed Happy Hour and had to pay full price ($11.95 each) for their tiny pizzas. Maybe the waiter could have told us since we even called them "Happy Hour pizzas?" Anyway shame on us for not reading the fine print. But the combo of lousy burnt-crust pizzas and $30 bill after tax and (undeserved) tip left us with no choice but to post a one-star warning review. Don't go! There are other options in Addison, and all are better.

Excellent

By Timothy O |

My wife and I and several family members ate at this restaurant on a busy night. We were seated promptly and both the service and the food were excellent. We definitely will return to this "Brewhouse".

Surprisingly Great Menu Options

By JR W |

Have been here before for business lunches and I guess I was distracted. My trip this week was excellent. There menu is extensive and several of the items were unique especially for a place like this. Appetizers and food were very good.

Work Lunch

Service was good and food was average

I hate here twice while in the area and the service was good. The food was just average. The one thing I found awful was the condition of the bathroom..trash cans over flowing and no toilet paper.

Great choice!

Ample environment and was playing a very good selection of music! We were well served and the food was very good! With a children's menu with items that children like the most! But the dessert was wonderful! A hot bronwnie with ice cream...was divine! The attendant was very friendly!

Great food, great beers

By Dennis v |

Good place to eat and have a beer! The menu is loooooong, it has a lot of different tasty entrees on it, fish, meat, pizza, pasta, and all look delicious. The ordered steak was big and delicious. The choice of beer is enormous. The taste of the BJ’s brand of beers is very good. Overall great restaurant, will definetely visit them again.

An upscale Chile's with a bigger menu, more beer, and pizza

By Neal B |

BJ's changes their menu every time we go there so one item I love one time will inevitably be off the menu the next time. A bit frustrating but it does force you to try new things. Since I could not get my meatball sub this time, I opted for the roast beef dip. It was not up to their usual standards. But, the menu is quite extensive and I am sure I will find something better next time. Like their deep dish pizza. Don't be fooled by the size, there is a lot more pizza there than you would expect. Quite good overall. I also like their flatbread appetizers. Just the right size for an appetizer pizza. I just looked at the menu again and it looks like they dropped them again. Drat it. Like I said, things are on and off the menu all the time. BJ's has a very good loyalty program. When you sign up you get a pizzookie. Not a bad incentive and the program does have very good offers.

Always a Good Meal

By Jeff V |

Came to BJ's in Dallas for dinner on Saturday night. We were able to walk-in, and had good seating in watch the various games going on. Our server came over within a few minutes to take our drinks and made a great recommendation on the Double IPA. Very tasty. For an app, we had the Nacho's, and the plate was huge. We could not finish it before our food came. I had the guacamole hamburger with fries, and it was great. My other party members had the carved chicken sandwich and bacon burger. All good. Food was great, and our server was attentive and efficient. Can't ask for anything more.

Bad customer service Good Food.

By Djuana J |

We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm and did not order our food until around 7:30. We received our food around 8:30, but my 3 children did not receive their food until after 9pm and one of their orders was wrong. They brought her another order and it was raw. She did not get her food until after 10pm. The service was terrible, but the food was good and the manager was very nice about taking the food off of our bill. I would actually like to give them another chance.

Great lunch

By JosephDonahue |

I have the Maui Porkchop lunch special. It was very good and reasonably priced and the service was excellent even though the restaurant was very crowded with the lunch crowd. I would recommend this place if you're in the area.

A Fun Sports Bar!

By breinhaugen |

Typical fun sports bar atmosphere with a lot of large tvs. They had a very large menu with many different items to pick from. It would be hard pressed for someone to not find something they didn't like. They have the typical appetizers all the way up to steaks and grilled entrees. They have many different beers to choose from as well as specialty cocktails. They service is quite friendly too!

Great pizza

By TXMARTINS |

They do something with the crust that just isn't easily found somewhere else. The other food is good, but their pizza is the best! Good drafts and drinks - takes large parties.

Great beer and good food

By Lance B |

Large selection of great made beers. Really like the hefeweisen!! They have a full menu with lots of choices. Something for everyone and all good. Fun atmosphere and very lively! Good service and very fast food delivery (at least when we were there)

Happy Hour Value

By roneill000 |

Surprisingly, this attractive and affordable place was not very crowded on a Friday evening, even with a happy hour that offered their house brews and guest beers at a discount. Most of the food was what you might find elsewhere, but it was fine. A shared appetizer of fries and carnitas was the size of a generous entrée so be advised if you plan to still eat something substantial from the dinner selections. A curiosity was that the piped in music, not overwhelmingly loud, was pretty eclectic-think C&W artists with cover versions of classic Xmas carols, followed by A T-Rex track from the '70s, then an original pop hit from the '40s followed by a U2 smash from the '90s. Pretty cool.

Pepperoni Pizza was Heavily Vegetized

By WildWilliam |

Our 14" pizza $24 had too many chunks of tomatoes for my preference. Overall, taste was good, but too costly for almost a veggie pizza.

Our large group enjoyed dinner

By Michael G |

12 of us walked here from our hotel on a Saturday night. Restaurant was busy, but they were able to seat us together quickly. Food and service was great!

Handled large group order very well

By SusanAdventure |

We were a large group. Got all the orders right and all the mains came out together and warm. Food was good. Service was attentive and friendly.

Good Food But a Little Pricey

By RVmasterblaster |

BJ's serves a great burger, and almost always serves a great meal. Food comes out in reasonable time, and is hot and fresh... and they have something many restaurants still do not offer, Gluten Free alternatives!

Good food everyday!

By lisalovely1 |

I do all my first dates at BJ'S. It is a great location, good selection of food, and I feel safe. Wish online dating was as fun and consistent as BJ's.

A really great meal was had by all.

By Daniel K |

New Orleans Jambalaya, flatbread pizza, deep dish pizza, lettuce wedge, absolutely delicious burgers, everything excellent, excellent service too. Nice surroundings, short wait, lots of parking. This place is a “go-to” place for slightly upscale dining.

Good but pricier than similar dining

By David A |

We have eaten here a couple of times when we had a $10 coupon. Food is good but not great and it is pricier than say, an Applebee's.

Nice pork chops

By Paultskenny |

We were seated on arrival and waitress was on hand to take drinks order, although my porter arrived 20mins later! Food quality was very good and the pork chop choice was excellent. I like the BJ’s brand and this restaurant is well worth a look up if you do to! My wife had a salad and was impressed with quality.

BJ's Brewhouse

By Diamante899 |

BIL came in for the Cowboys game and the wife and I decided to take him somewhere that was not back in his state and where there was a good scenery, great drinks and awesome food. Ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and had Long Island Ice Tea's. They were great! The service was good. Sports playing, clean environment, great atmosphere!

A bit disappointing these days

By Baywolfe |

We've eaten at several of the BJ's in the area and the one on Addison often. While there are particular items on the menu that are always top notch, like the Avocado Eggrolls, the entrees don't live up to either the menu picture or the price charged. Also, they open at 10:00 am on Saturday however, when we came in at 10:30, they were not prepared. Tables were still being cleaned, nobody was up front, and once, seated and served a drink, we might as well have waited until 11:00 for all the good it did us. Not taking them out of the rotation, but cutting them back from a regular stop.

BJ's Dallas

By Don M |

Dropped by while waiting for hotel room to get prepared. Only had one drink and a burger. Burger was good and nice size. Service was very good.

Good service

By MadMan222 |

Service was very good but the pizza was average. I have been to a few different BJ's and the crust was not as good. it was a bit soggy and no crunch.

Good Brews

By EdM734 |

Stopped in after a late meeting. Good micro brews. The Stout was my favorite. The server was polite and friendly. Not crowded but it was a Tuesday night.

Lunch

By 150hotelnightsayear |

Service was good and prompt (5 stars). Food was decent (3 stars). It was quite loud, and it wasn't that full. That made it difficult for us to discuss business.

Like it. Nice Place to enjoy.

By Rustycnrh |

If you like to try specialty beers, try their house brew. Food is nice and if you want to dine there or have lunch, you can not go wrong with them. Prices are moderate and staff is attentive. Enjoy

Delicious food in a busy area

By Celesia A |

We dined on a Wednesday evening and the place was full. It was a bit of a wait to order as waiters were extremely busy. Service was professional and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious. One of us had the Swiss Mushroom Burger which was cooked to perfection and tasted divine. The other ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger and it was also delicious. If you go, you must order the Brussel Sprout Appetizer. It is heavenly. If you don't mind hanging out & are not in a rush, the food is definitely worth the wait.

If you're not hungry

By don628 |

Pleasant hostess sat us immediately on a Sunday night. Four of us ordered from a good waitress and then it all fell apart. Almost one hour later we asked for our food. When it finally arrived the fries on one order were cold and the salmon on another order was luke warm. The Sante Fe Salad had very little chicken and rare find of avocado in it. Unlike the previous visit where there was ample chicken and avocado. After complaining we got another dinner with warm fries, 2 meals comped and a free dessert was offered. We did not take the dessert nor will we ever go back there. This had happened to us a few years ago but we took a chance that they figured out how to serve on time with hot plates.

Great Atmosphere and Food

By PLcoppell |

BJ's warehouse is one of my favorite places to go for relaxation, beer, and reasonably priced food. We were the Corvette Legends Club for a meeting, and BJ's is always willing to accommodate us. I had the chicken wings, which were okay and a little vinegary but that only reassured my previous choice was the small pizza and a salad for lunch. I'll go back because I like the beer and my normal choice for lunch.

Great Service and Great Covered Patio.

By johnjphillips7 |

They take a reservation. Large seating area with plenty of space between tables. We sat on the patio which is covered but garage door windows on the side can roll up. We started with chips and salsa and an order of the garlic knots. Both were good. My wife and I split the Barbecue Burger. It had brisket on top. It was tasty. The fries were crispy. For dessert we had the Pizookie trio which was great. 3 large hot cookies with ice cream on top. My daughter and I liked the Hot Fudge Pizookie while my wife liked the Peanut Butter Pizookie the best. Our server, A.J. was great. He was friendly and attentive.

What you expect, no more, no less

By michael m |

Nice property, good food with good service. Unfortunately this concept is locked in the past. The dishes have high fat and calorie design. To their credit, calorie count is on the menu. This style of dining is still popular with some, but not ish. Our group started with a pizza for an appetizer, then selected entrees. All good, none exceptional. Nice craft beer selection. Wines are average.

Enjoyable Night

By Wgj302 |

I had an opportunity to have dinner with two friends at the location in Town Center Mall. The service was friendly and the food was good; as expected. I have been to a few locations of this chain--in Nevada and Indiana. The offer a consistent environment and menu; and Mesquite was no different. Lots of food types to choose from including some dishes with quinoa. I would recommend this restaurant.
