Special dinner

By David T |

I have always liked BJ'S restaurants. I love craft beer, and they certainly offer a bunch of different choices that they brew. Light? Got it. Amber? Got it. IPA? Got it. Red? Porter? Stout? Those too. All good! The food is awesome as well, and so was the service. I had a black-and-blue burger, which was very tasty. My wife had fish tacos, which were some of the best we've ever had. Delicious. We had the mini dessert trio with salted caramel, white chocolate, and peanut butter. Excellent meal, and I heartily recommend this restaurant.

food is always good, priices seem up some, this visit food good, service not up to par and not that busy.

By skylanders |

their lunch menu is very good, portions good and choices good, like the idea of calorie posted items to help those watching it, the tea is to expensive I think so I love the food and have water, will go back for sure.

Good food

By Celeste M |

We enjoyed our food but our guest requested hot fries, because he thought his were cold. My husband and I both got salads which were very tasty but mine was really small. Our guest got a burger he really enjoyed. We all had a pazooki in the end, which after all makes all things right.

Early Dinner after the Movies

By tedebear108 |

We have not been to this BJ's in a long time. Delicious and the atmosphere was nice. The waitress and hostess were extraordinarily nice and memorable. I would definitely recommend this place and will come back again.

Great Meal

By Kelli M |

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meal we ate at this restaurant. The food was good, the service was good and although busy, the food was prepared promptly. They have many gluten free options including an incredible cookie dessert. If you are in the area, this is a great option to choose.

Great food and beer

By TRP21 |

Couldn't ask for a better sandwich and selection of beer were terrific. Stop here, you won't be disappointed. It is a nice family type atmosphere in the afternoon.

Excellent Selection, Excellent meals

By William C |

We had heard from friends that BJ's was a good place for lunch. We had heard right. They have an extensive menu. I had the baby-back ribs. They were tender, meaty with an excellent sauce. The wife had their shrimp. We both left quite satisfied. This place also knows how to make a very nice Long Island Ice Tea, which is a rarity these days. We will be returning.

It's the tried and true go to place

By skylanders |

When we are out and decide to do lunch we feel we can't go wrong, the food is fresh, tastey, healthy dishes, service has always been good and priced reasonable, we have joined their club which offers perks for visiting there, have had birthday parties, special gatherings, they always handle it all well. Smile when you want some adjustments to the dish, "no problem"...We travel to Oklahoma City a lot and were thrilled to have one in Norman Okla. No matter where we travel if we see one we know it is a good, safe place to eat and if children with us also works, the Cookie/ice cream in the skillet Is to die for..We have given gift cards for occasions and everyone is always thrilled. We love this place.

Consistent good food & service.

By BillWBulverde |

Service is good even when busy. Variety of food including ample appetizers & deserts are a hot with us. And then there's the beer selection plus happy hour pricing.

Great Beer - Good Food

By OETEX |

We went there for our Anniversary. The in-house beer was excellent (Hefeweizen) was excellent - comparable to the German "Hefe's". The food was very good pub fare. A very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this restaurant/brewpub...

Bad Experience

By Mike P |

My spouse and I went there Thursday night. Their Thursday special menu featured Tri Tip steak along with 2 side dishes. The server/service was mediocre - at best. Seemed like she was not happy being there. The steak was so bad, I literally could not eat it. I ordered medium, got rare. OK, since we had waited 27 minutes for our food, I did not want to send it back and wait another 27 minutes - my partner had her food already as well. It was not even that crowded at that time. When I started to eat the steak, I literally could not cut the meat with my serrated knife - it was that tough - and bloody red too. My thoughts at that time, and still now, are that I would not give a steak that tough to my dog. It was truly inedible. I had steamed broccoli as a side - half of them were slightly warm - steamed, and the other half were raw. After a long wait, the waitress came to check on us - I showed her the streak, blood and all and she agreed that it was not medium as requested. I asked for the manager, after about 10 minutes the waitress came back and said it might be awhile, because the manager was cooking. I was so disgusted by that point, I gave my credit card to my spouse to pay and walked out. It was one of the worst dining experiences I've had and the restaurant should be embarrassed by how poor the overall dining experience was.

Its good food

By swatchsatx |

The service was a little slow the food the baked ziti is the bottom my wife always gets a salmon platter she really likes it I'm not a big fish eater but she is and she loves it the big CD is really good and that's what I always eat with an extra roll and the Mojitos are really good

Great experience

By BCody76 |

Great service! Catherine was outstanding! The added beer samples and dessert was a nice touch. The steak was a bit under but still delicious.

Appetizer meal

By Marianne K |

We really wanted to try a lot of stuff instead of just 2 meals...so we got appetizers! Food was great! Service had a lot to be desired. We still left good tip because of it being new restaurant maybe servers were busy! But still never had eye contact even though I tried to make there be...very distracted. I probably wouldn't sit in her section again Brit I will go back for food as it was very very good!

Great - easy spot

By Salukichad |

BJ's was a great, easy dinner spot for us from the JW Marriott just 3 miles up the road. Food has great flavor and their microbrews were tasty too. Side note: They offer the most organized flight tasting of their dif beers I've run across. Made it easy to pick "your range" of beers to try and then easily select your favorite without confusion.

Great Food and Service

By Steve S |

There is a wide selection of food on the menu that is always good. We don't care for their house draft beer but there are many others to choose from. Great place for lunch. The bar service is always fast. There are TV's very where if you like sports.

Dependably savory food!

By Katherine L |

My favorite small plate is the fried artichoke hearts. The "small plate" actually had enough for two people to share. I enjoyed the new loaded beef burger with avocado and bacon. Very good !! Save room for the Pazookie Dessert - a hot cookie in various flavors, topped with a creamy scoop of ice cream. The regular one is shareable for 2-3 people. Yummy!! I'll be back !!

Great

By ltcajh . |

A glass cracked, probably because ice got put in when it when it was hot from the dishwasher. The manager gave us a big discount. Good food. We were impressed.

Great food.

By DonnaO_10 |

A friend and I ate there for lunch on Sunday a couple of weeks ago. We did not eat at the one on 281, this one was at 1604 and Culebra. Although there were many choices on the extensive menu, I was just in the mood for a burger and fries and a beer. The service was quick and friendly. The burger was excellent and the fries thin and crispy just like I like them. I had one of their specialty beers and it was very tasty as well. All in all a good, pleasant place to have a casual lunch or dinner.

We love the food here! Overall, great experience!

By Sheila M |

We love the food. I usually get the tomato soup and the macaroni and cheese side. My husband meanders around the menu... Last trip, the soup was fab; but the macaroni and cheese came without cheese, and lots of breadcrumbs. I showed it to the waitress and sent it back. The manager came out and apologized and said that the recipe had not changed, but that the last batch had not been made right. He took it off the bill, which we were appreciative of. This is the first time, things have not been five stars!

Very good experience

By lucsimsthomas |

We walked in on Father's Day weekend and were immediately seated. I had put our name on the wait list through the app but it was not that busy. We ordered the deep dish pizza as usual and loved it. The strawberry lemonade also was so good. Our wait staff was wonderful and they kept our glasses full. This place always has good food so we can't wait to return. I love that you can put your name on a wait list through their app. Hopefully more restaurants will do this.

Great food, as usual!

By missmeticulous |

Fluffiest & best pizza crust ever. Everything is always good at this place; the salads, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, you name it.

Home Purchse Closing

By prissyh |

We had an awesome experience today thanks to our server, Amanda ! We sat in the bar area & her attention to detail was phenomenal. It started when our appetizer, yummy avocado rolls arrived but were not to her satisfaction. She knew we were hungry so she informed us while we worked on the not so perfect due to slightly burned avocado rolls she requested a replacement order meanwhile. I noticed when she sat the dinnerware down she noticed herself one of them did not meet the clean standard so she immediately removed it & replaced it. That is unheard of ! Its usually the other way around when I have to request clean dinnerware. BJ'S is perfect for any occasion . Make sure you get their app if you don't already have it......Bon appetite !!!

Good Sports Bar

By KingofThreePutts |

Came. Here for wings, burgers, and beer and to watch Monday Night Football. Food was pretty good, and there were numerous good beers on tap. Fries were particularly good, and wings and burgers were fine. As long as you don't expect haute cuisine here, you won't be disappointed.

Good for lunch or dinner

By MKM78163 |

Had lunch here with my wife recently. They have cool, fruity drinks for the ladies. Food was excellent, service was very good. Have been here a couple of times, always good. Its really good if you want to try some craft beers. They will give you samples to try. I learned I am not much of a craft beer guy. Just give me a Dos XX and I am fine! lol

The New Baby Back Ribs Were Only Glitch

By Rufus318 |

We love going to a BJ's almost anywhere so we were looking forward to our latest visit after picking up a daughter at the airport. I was pleased to view the ribs on the menu. It said they were a new item and I ordered the half slab. My two side items that were included met my expectations, but the ribs were mediocre. The flavors and sauce were good, but these ribs were smaller than most I've eaten and they were mainly fat and gristle, not much meat. I left with little satisfaction from this meal. My dining companions ordered items that they have had many times and were pleased.

They had me at micro-brewery

By Brad S |

I always enjoy going to BJ's whether it be for lunch or dinner or even a social get together. They are almost always busy so there is usually a short wait but the staff is always friendly. I love to sample the beers that BJ's makes -- check out the descriptions in the menu. The food is always tasty and filling. I must admit that I have become a fan of their pizza's as well.

BJ’s after recital

By J K |

Dinner and a pazookie. What’s not to love. Beer was fantastic as always. Johnny was a legit server. Well done. This guys goin places.

Very good dinner

By wildcatsfan86 |

We enjoyed our meal here. The pizza was about a step up from Pizza Hut, but the service, atmosphere, drinks, and desserts helped to bump this into the "very good" category. Excellent service, reasonable prices, and the berry hard cider they serve is fantastic. Dessert is excellent too. We had never been to this chain before, and we enjoyed it overall.

Friendly staff

By prof747 |

Friendly staff ready to serve. Great happy hour w/many appetizer choices along with their many beers from light to dark. Planning on a return visit soon!

Good American food, reliable place.

By Francisco P |

Although this is my first review for this restaurant I've been a BJ's costumer since 2010, and I always go back, as obvious they have a great selection of beers and a menu that has a little bit of everything, but of course the house specialty is Pizza, so, go hungry and try one! I specially love the burgers, they never overcook the meat, and they taste great. Service is always good, I've never had anything to complain about. If you haven't tried BJ's, stop by, won't regret it.

Rude Waitress

By Ray R |

Had dinner at the restaurant couple days ago. The waitress (Clarissa?) who served us was very rude, and obviously needs to go to charm school. We asked for some items in the menu which she said were not available, but instead of providing some other options like any customer oriented wait staff would do, she asked us check the menu ourselves. She was loud and very bossy. I also noticed her throwing some paper (receipt?) to the garbage, I assume because she didn't like the tip that she received? We gave her 15% but in hindsight should have given her nothing.

Excellent Gluten free pizza!

By kmannwarfield |

Had an enjoyable meal! The gluten free pizza was excellent. It didn't hurt that the Spurs beat the Warriors and Danny Green showed up for dinner after game. Go Spurs Go!!!! BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse 17503 IH-10 W, San Antonio, TX, 78257

Good food and Servcie

By Debbie L |

The food and the service here are good. The restaurant is a little noisy, though, since it's primarily a sports bar type of place. Menu choices are not so healthy but if you're into comfort food, you will definitely like it here.

Good food

By Foodie53_11 |

Been here a couple times and every time it is good! Had the prime rib dip sandwich and was impressed with the serving of prime rib in the baguette. The French fries were hot and the cole slaw was tasty.

Awesome pizza!

By travelr0x |

We decided to dine here while driving through San Antonio. The pizza here is really good, especially the crust! They have a good variety on the menu, but we liked the pizza best!

A little disappointed

By Janet R |

I am gluten free because of severe allergy and I've eaten here several times. Tonight I ordered the salmon and told them to hold the Chardonnay butter bc their menu indicated it had gluten. apparently our waitress failed to let the kitchen know it came with the butter. After much time I got a new plate. While they were very nice and sorry about it they never offered to let that reflect in the price. My husband was finished eating and therefore I ate my salmon while he sat and watched. I think I would have felt like they were really sorry for this mishap if they would have compensated in some way.

Great healthy items that taste sinful!!

By paige1231 |

I love Bj's Enlightened Entrees! Healthy never tasted so good. I not only order from the healthy items, Bj's makes me crave their enlightened dishes! Thank you for giving me healthy options without sacrificing one bit of flavor or enjoyment!

It's a Chain, But Really Good

By CherK528 |

I'm not particularly big on chains, but this one is above average. The variety of drinks and menu items is super -- there is truly something for everyone. In two previous visits, I've had tasty appetizers with their delicious berry burst cider. This time, I selected the asian chopped salad and was very pleased. It was fresh, and the low calorie dressing was very good. Others at my table had ahi salads and gobbled them up. Our server was excellent and patient (three ladies chatting on and on takes patience!). Just a nice, casual place with a relaxed atmosphere and good food.

Great Spot

By Garry M |

Really enjoyed this spot. Great food and great service. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will most certainly go back when in the area.

Extensive Menu & Sports All Around

By dysg |

Big place, informal, and TVs running various sports events. Many, many food choices, and a wide beer selection. Friendly staff and very good service. Portions tend to be sizeable, so diners shouldn't go away hungry.

Nico

By Toni D |

Great service. Very kind and helpful selecting the pizza based on my questions. Clean bathrooms. Great happy hour pricing.

Busy parking, to go & HC avaiable. Nice and quick greeting, seating & service.

By Dewey Owens |

Had their special beer & BBQ combo for two. Good service taking drink and food orders. Lots of TVs for sports, Lots of good comradery and friendly staff.

Great Customer Service!

By Amy B |

My husband and I had great service from Macy! Delicious food too. Highly recommend this location and our wonderful server, Macy!

Good food and reasonable prices!

By Lori P |

Service is always good. The mozzarella cheese sticks are the best we have had. The deep dish pizza is really good. Then to top that off specialty beers and great desserts - pizookie.

Bad curbside service

By lucsimsthomas |

We ordered a deep dish pizza from this restaurant and was told to park in one of their curbside spots and call when we arrived. We waited the amount of time they said it would take and then went there and parked and called. No one ever came out. After about 20 minutes my husband went in and eventually saw our pizza sitting somewhere with his name on it. By now the pizza is cold and they barely want to acknowledge that this is our pizza and let us take it home. If you order pick up from this BJ's be advised you will have to go in and get your food. They will tell you they will bring it out but never will. The restaurant was clearly packed with dine in customers and could care less about their pick up customers -- at least on this night. The pizza quite good even though we had to reheat it when we got it home.

Great Experience

By Brenden M |

Highly recommend! Always enjoy my experience at this location. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Don't waste your money on a steak!

By SummerAdventure2013 |

I am eating at bj's on 281 as I write this... I ordered my $20 ribeye medium and it came well done and the waiter said he said he put it medium. The meat had very little flavor. They either cooked it all out of it or it was very poor quality meat. It was only after I told the waiter I was doing a trip advisor report that he called the manager.

When in doubt...this always works

By skylanders |

menu is very user friendly and we were able to do the lunch portion even on Sunday only couple of items aren't available. There isn't anything I can think of that I dislike, we have good service, good food, most of time good service, they seat us where we chose to sit. Bathrooms clean and well stocked. Rack up points for free items or discount on meals..all is well.

Lunch at BJ's

By connie O |

Four of us went for a late lunch at BJ's. The service was good and the food was very good. We had menu items including burgers, chicken sandwiches; roast beef sandwich and pulled pork. Everything was very good, place was clean, and service was good. Great meal. .

Good comfort food. Unbeatable around Stone Oak / Bulverde.

By Chur D |

Great options for classic American comfort food. Lot´s of pastas, burgers, pizzas and salads, and a great selection of beers on tap. Since it is one of the best options in the area tends to be crowded at nights and during the weekends. We also use their "take out" service and the food is very well packed, so both options are duly recommended.

Very delicious

By outoftown17 |

I've come to BJ's twice now and the food is amazing! I get the Cajun Pasta, I love it! I first heard about it when I was out of state and was hoping that we had one back in San Antonio. I'm glad that we do! It's great food and the staff is friendly, as well.

Just Lunch

By Rhonda O |

Great food! Had a prime rib which my husband and I split. It was tender and cooked to perfection. Loads more f sides available and perfect service from Spencer. Beer was good too

Quantity and Quality is the BEST

By lemohan |

We find the food to be excellent and the quality and quantity outstanding. The manager came to our table to see how everything was. Normally at restaurants you only see a manager when there is a problem. (281 restaurant) ****** BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse 22410 US Highway 281, San Antonio, TX, 78259

Good food, good drinks

By 4TexasGirls |

Tasty food, nice atmosphere, good service. Their Jambalaya is excellent! Also, the beignet and the peach cobbler is well worth saving room for!

Great food, average service

By James J |

First, the food was very good. Large appetizers, as well as large main dish portions. I often get the clam chowder in a bread bowl. Honestly it is big enough for two people. If your dish comes ith fries, expect to not finish them. Generally the service is pretty good but tonight the waitress as obviously in a hurry. No clear reason as the place was not crowded as we were there before the main dinner crowd. More than once we did not finish talking with her before she said "sure, will be right back". She could have saved herself a lot of work if she would have slowed down and listened..

Great!!!

By Stephanie W |

The food and service were really great. We will definitely be returning. Nico was an amazing and so helpful with making dinner and drink decisions.

great night out

By OnAir15161524564 |

The food was pretty fantastic, i personally got the bacon chessburger and it was great. I highly recommend coming here on mon-fri because the pazookie meal deal is fantastic

Great food great experience

By R S |

Amazing experience, great service from David S, we had an amazing dinner experience with the family. Very quick sitting, food was amazing.

Dinner very good and Nachos not so much

By OWL78654 |

We had two different plates of Salmon. One had a cherry sauce, the other a white sauce. Both were very good. The broccoli and asparagus were also very good. The calamari appetizer was also good. We stayed and talked a long time. Nobody was waiting for the table, so there was no rush. We ordered Nachos with carnitas. They arrived on a round tray, about 18" diameter. Plenty of chips. Very skimpy on the cheese. You had to hunt around to find any meat at all. Worst of all there was a sheet of thin brown paper covering the tray, under the nachos. As soon as the cheese cooled, it welded to the paper. It was not possible to eat the bottom layer unless you wanted to eat paper. Very disappointing. The loss of edible nachos was about 1/3 of the total.

second visit and last

By mrpak5604 |

I will try to make this short. I live very close to this location and decided to order take out a few weeks ago. I did not order dinners....just wings and app's. My wife and I found everything to be as ordered. Last week we stopped by for happy hour and ordered the same items....one bite, half way through one boneless wing my wife realized the chicken was raw and cold. Obviously the you know what hit the fan....my wife became ill and all the wait staff and managers started to scramble. It was a cluster to say the least. They did comp the food and were very sincere in their response but somehow it just didnt help. My wife was sick for two after and as much as I love chicken....i just have not been able to eat it since then. Just something I thought I would share....and alert you travelers.

Plenty of food for the price-2 dine for $25 special

By 44beckyd |

Always a great experience here. Tortilla soup was great, the pizza was not the one we thought we ordered still was good, the crust is super if you really like fresh made crust. Pizookie to round off the meal was great, although it is hard to share :) We were there during a Cowboys game so cheering from the bar area, yet was not disrupting to our meal or our conversation.

Good food; not great just good.

By Lynedon |

This restaurant has a variety of different types of food. For example, you can get spaghetti, or salad, or fish, or burgers or sandwiches, etc. The service is good, but the place filled up right after we arrived, increasing the time between the appetizer and main course. I got spaghetti with meat balls. The sauce is spicy mild hot, but I would have preferred more sauce. My wife had a salad which she said was really good. The portions were on the large side. No room for desert. We went to the restaurant on a Friday night at 5:30 and there was no waiting. When we left the wait time was 45 minutes to an hour. I would go to this restaurant chain again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Quick lunch

By Matt K |

Group of 4 venturing off-site (Marriott) for lunch. Server was efficient and food came quickly. Spicy chicken peanut noodles very tasty.

Dirty place

By FourBarN |

Food is fine but the restaurant is filthy. Dirty bathrooms, salt/pepper shakers, floors and menus covered in grime. Management needs to be better.

1st visit

By Daniel L |

A let down. Waiters were more in talking to each other than serving us. Food was overpriced and not worth it. I had fried chicken and was charged 14.99 for it

Fish Tacos!

By TaurusMom |

The fish tacos were very good! I had one of their seasonal beers, and it was excellent, too. One note....GPS did a terrible job of getting us here--not sure if it's because the address is the highway...I will be back.

Very Pleasant Experience

By Jesusan |

We chose to go to this BJ's because we've been unhappy with the service at the one on I-10. Fortunately, this was a wonderful experience. There were a couple of glitches in getting our group served, but our server was very helpful, very honest, and did everything he could to make our visit a good experience. From now on, if we want to visit a BJ's while we're in San Antonio, this one will be where we go.

Wife's Birthday Dinner

By Kenneth D |

I rarely write a restaurant review. Tonight, Aug. 10, 2017, I took my wife for her birthday to BJ's Alamo Ranch. The first thing we were unhappy with was our bar drinks. We both sent the drinks back for two different drinks. My wife ordered BJ's classic rib-eye steak and I ordered the two bone pork loin meal. My wife ordered her steak medium well. The steak was extra well and she was hardly able to eat a quarter of her steak. I ordered a bake potato with butter only. The potato came fully loaded with no butter. Very disappointing!!! I believe we will think twice about visiting BJ's Alamo Ranch. There are too many good restaurants in San Antonio. KD

Good atmosphere, Quick Service and Good Food

By Julia G |

This place was packed but they still got us in within five minutes. The service was great and the food was delicious.

Calvin the best

By Jacob C |

The food is always the best so good. Have came here twice in a row cause it’s so good. Then there’s Calvin who is the best waiter I hade ever had. He is always there to help us with whatever we need. He is just the best and always love to see him here.

Service Failure

By 863wendyi |

Visited for lunch on a weekday, we were probably the first ones in the restaurant. Ordered the soup and salad combo. Food quality was very good, portions satisfactory. Service was a failure. Waitress approached a couple times to take order while I waited for a business associate. Once associate arrived, waitress did not return for some time. About 10 minutes after arrival, she returned. Order taken. Never returned to ask about meal once we received food. Finally returned to ask if we wanted soup refills. I chose to refill mine. Waitress did not return with soup until 20 minutes later as we were packing up to leave. Had to ask for To Go contained. Another 10 minutes. This is not the first time we've had this experience at this restaurant.

Best Deep Dish!

By Gina G |

This place does not disappoint! The deep dish is incredible, never had better. No matter what toppings you choose you will not be disappointed. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it if you want good quality pizza. Also try their craft beers, they have a helpful beer graph to help you find the beer you're craving.

Great Foodd - awesome dessert!!!

By travlr64-49 |

Was in town for a graduation and the graduate took us to BJ's for dinner. It has great atmosphere and food but the highlight was the dessert which our graduate recommended. Don't remember the name but it's a half baked giant chocolate chip cookie served warm with ice cream. It was very rich so it's best to share. Was a great time with food, wine and good friends.

Nico was an amazing server!

By Ellie R |

My server Nico was extraordinary !! He was amazing and friendly!! Always had a smile on his face and was upbeat the entire time. If you go to bjs off of stone oak ask for HIM!!!

Good Food, Noisy Environment

By Kegmeister |

The Manager, Wait Staff, and Kitchen were excellent in doing everything they could to create a meal that meets my complicated dietary restrictions due to my Pan Diverticulum. The food was flavorful, and attractively presented. If you're looking for an environment that will permit a conversation that's easily heard, then you'll want to arrive before 6pm. The ceilings are high and there's nothing to balance the acoustics so when enough people are here their voices will compete with the music making it difficult to hear a person across the table from you.

Awful night at BJ's

By mepenny |

Went for dinner with my husband. When we walked in, there were three people at the host station and LOTS of empty seats in view. They took a few minutes to acknowledge us and then they took quite a while debating where to seat us. When we were seated, we wanted to try some of the special beers offered, but the entire range of brews and drafts were unavailable due to issues with the dispenser. ALL of them. At a BREW house. The waitress was very nonchalant about it. When I asked about bottled beers, she stated she was a minor and didn't know anything about that. I ordered tea, which tasted old and sour. I asked to have it removed from the table. We both ordered from the special insert in the menu. My husband ordered a ravioli dish baked in a round deep dish pan. I ordered the stroganoff. NEITHER of our dishes looked remotely like the pictures on the menu insert. My husband found about three pieces of meat in what was supposed to be a 3-meat dish. There were no pepperoni at all. My dish had little chunks of meat rather than the long strips pictured and very little sauce. They tasted about average but nothing great. Mine wasn't very warm either. Because we don't eat alone very often, we decided to hang out and get dessert. Again, ordered from the specials insert - peach cobbler. NOTHING like the picture. About three peaches in it, lots of stuff around it that tasted like sweet cake, and no candied pecans - just a few chopped pecans on top. There was ice cream on top and it was served warm. When the bill came, the tea we returned had not been removed from the bill as promised. Overall, the service wasn't great, the food wasn't great and the beer was unavailable. We won't be coming back.

Huge Portions

By Razz_N_James |

We were in town for the weekend looking at houses and stumbled across this place for dinner. It was very busy, but we were sat within 5 minutes. Food was very good with very big portions. Would highly recommend.

So bland I almost forgot we ate there

By katsat |

BJ's is what we consider a safe restaurant when there are many people to please - the menu is varied enough that usually everyone can find something. But this trip the food was so bland that it was unremarkable. It's not bad, it's just not great

Big, Bold, and Brash

By bobemac |

This is an eye pleasing upscale sports bar. We stopped by for lunch early on a weekday. They have an all you can eat soup/salad combo that's a good deal for the hungry. My BW had the Chilli and Clam Chowder, she had seconds on that Chowder. The salad was tasty. The boneless wings were flavorful with all good breast meat. We liked the honey Teriyaki, and Buffalo flavors. I had the Southern Fried Chicken. This dish came with mashed potatoes and spicy corn. There was not much chicken, but it tasted good. Our server was friendly but distracted, and he eventually got everything taken care of at his pace. The only down side was the noise level but that's to be expected in a sports bar.

Great evening away from home

By Safferboy |

I was over the weekend for an anesthesiology course. This was near my hotel and recommendation was from my girlfriend in Florida. Service was great from the start. I was seated in a great site. I was attended immediately and offers of dinner were made with great suggestion. I was told it was happy hour and I duly enquired about the beers. Mo my waitron sorted a collection of six tasters. Wow. That was a first. I chose my meal which was tasty. The Blonde Beer was great. And the dessert was a perfect end to a great meal. Service from Mo was simply incredible. She is a true credit to this restaurant and she has a lovely demeanor to ensure the customer is sorted. Thank you. I hope to return. And the price was perfect too.

Good place for drinks

By Jered B |

Went here for a meet up with some other people and we had a bunch of beers. Their selection of beers is really great so we kept ourselves busy for awhile with that. Then eventually we got hungry and we ordered the food. The food was pretty average bar food I wouldn't say there's anything spectacular about the food. The staff was all really nice as well. All in all we had a good time with the drinks, could've done without the food but it was alright for where we were.

Great service. Good food.

By Sondra D |

Deborah was very helpful and attentive during our entire visit. Avocado egg rolls were perfectly prepared and the new chicken bacon ranch piadina was delicious.

The two worst burgers I have eaten in San Antonio are from this establishment

By James P |

Consider Carl' Jr or Burger King -- burgers are just poor. Bacon Cheeseburger was ordered Medium Well, came Medium Rare, special burger sauce on menu turned out to be 1/3 cup of mayonnaise. Cooked wrong and waaay too much mayo. Used to come here regularly - no more. Second time the burger was horrible here.

Consistant

By Latonia H |

Best Chicken lettuce wraps! Even tastier than the competing Chinese food chains! Great selection of cold beer. The staff is helpful with selecting one that for your taste buds.

Mediocre Food, and understaffed service for a large group

By Jim C |

Our team had a luncheon here, and in spite of a reservation made several days in advance, they were unprepared. One waiter took orders for 30 people. We were there an hour before anyone got food. Not a single drink was refilled. Assistant servers showed up at the tables with plates and without a clue who to serve. A $15 french dip was just OK. The only saving grace was they comped the beverages. The beer was good.

A BAD DAY IN MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT

By Nice P |

I have been there many many times and always had a good meal & service. What happened? The hostess didn't ask my loyalty # and even thought I told her to include it in my reservation she said the waiter can take care of it! She was really sad,no smiles, and very serious. (She had a bad day ,I guess). Service & food was very very late. We arrived for lunch at 13:00 and our appetizers came at 14:00!!! Also they mixed up our order and we had to wait and wait... The spaghetti with marinara sauce was really bad. Well, I will give it another try soon, maybe it was just a bad day..... I will get back with more reviews good or bad.

Dinner

I love this place. The food is consistently good. So many choices. Great staff. The flatbreads are the best !!!!

Outstanding!

Absolutely an amazing dinner experience with family! Food tasted great but most impressive was the customer service from Ms. Macy. Her willingness to serve was True and genuine

Corey was a fantastic server , very professional at his work ethic and got my order out in a timely manner would recommend this server to anyone visiting this location at 281 and TPC

Best server ever !!!

By DIY W |

We had a young lady by the name of Jayda and super sweet young lady. She was very knowledgeable about some drinks she had recommended and knew by what flavors I liked. She was very sweet and attentive love her energy. Please let her know to keep up the good work and energy. She is one server I will never forget.

My first experience in this location.

By Antonio M |

My first experience in this location. We ate clam chowder on sourdough, we did not finish it and brought half of it home. Here we found that the bread had hairs on it. At first, my wife thought that was her. But we realize that the hairs were inside the bread. They were baked with the bread. With that experience, it hard for us to recommend are friends to eat there at BJs.

won't return

By joihnny j |

large group, shrimp scampi very ordinary, hula pork chop ordered rare was so over cooked, could have hacked out bone and used for a hockey puck. will never return and will tell any of my friends not to go

Slow Service

By bibio952 |

Food at best is just average which is disappointing as they're a bit pricey. If it wasn't for the Jeramiah Red I wouldn't even go back. Service can be slow even when they are not busy.

Good food

By bjcTx |

The food was great and reasonably priced. Large variety of menu items. Craft beer was plentiful and very good. Service was attentive and fast. Definately recommend.

If you want prompt, accurate curbside - THIS IS NOT THE PLACE

By James P |

Very poor effort, even for times of stress! This is the second time in a row they have dropped our on-line order. This time they also lied about it, rather than saying "Sorry we will fix that." Claimed the charge did not go through - the card company texted the charge to us before we ever arrived curbside. Lied! Then the reorder was incorrect, no oyster crackers, no pizookie, and of course double wait time since it all wasn't entered until parked in their lot. Called back to speak to a manager and died on-hold. Hope things go better when they reopen - we eat there one to two times a week - - used to.

Excellent Variety of Beers

By Corky G |

Came early evening and got good service, good pizza, but a little noisy. Tried sever different crafted beers and found one great stout aged in whiskey barrels. Half and half pizza, Hawaiian and meat lovers, was very tasty.

Late dinner

By Marty E |

Love this place. One thing I highly recommend is to get their app. You can order everything and set up you time. When we got there it was a 30-45 min wait I did everything on my app and we were seated right away and all are drinks and appetizer were coming out. As soon as we finished food was there and I just paid off my phone and it was great. Food was great also. I recommend this place great food and service.

Just so-so

By Angie R |

Server was just ok. We ordered a pizza that was served lukewarm. The potato skins were pretty good. I've not had a really good meal at this chain and I've given it three tries. Doubt I go back!

Sports bar atmosphere with excellent food

By ROBERT S |

Good place to hang with friends. Lots of drink options from the bar, and a varied menu. Pizza is outstanding. Also soup in breadbowl, salads, and the typical type of things one would want to order from a place like this. It is a bit noisy, but is very popular judging by the huge crowd.

Good food with great atmosphere

By judywatters5 |

I met a friend for lunch at BJs in Stone Oak on Monday, May 7. their lunch menu offered a great variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta and more. I both ordered the combo Baked Potato with a Caesar Salad. My potato had bacon and cheese topping; my friend had the chile topping. Salad was yummy; potato was a bit dry, but it could have been because it was so big and not enough butter/sourcream for me. The Pizookie, which they are famous for, was over the top. Ice cream on a huge hot chocolate cookie. We did ask for a chocolate syrup topping. The waitress was very sweet and accomodating. The manager came around two times to ask how we were doing. Bathrooms were clean; however, we were there right after opening.

Great service, super friendly

By Luz A |

Our waitress was super. Great service, very friendly, she knew about the different beers, she was amazing.

Excellent casual fare for the gluten intolerant

By ldeimos |

I recently ate here with my husband as I had read online that they have a gluten-free menu. And they do! Usually at casual restaurants there is NO gluten-free menu, and you kind of half to hazard a guess that the salad might be OK if they leave off the dressing and croutons. Not here! The menu was extensive, and offered something for any craving. I ordered the tomato soup and a margherita pizza, as well as a cherry root beer. Our server was very accommodating, the food came out super fast even though it was packed, and the root beer was super tasty! The food itself tasted very good, it satisfied my craving for a real pizza, and the soup was pretty good, but it could have been hotter and it tasted faintly of pizza sauce. It was also inexpensive, which is always a plus. I will definitely be eating here again.

Huge disappointment

By James P |

Sliders came with charred grease bits attached - way overdone. Fries were cold. Wife's was average, but server seemed disinterested in requests for more glaze and ice tea. Manager was not in evidence during entire visit. Weren't busy, and staff gathered at to-go register to chat. We "used to go regularly", but they don't seem to be interested in maintaining, much less improving. Next time I will spend my money at "Walk Ons" new place farther south on 281.

Server extraordinaire

By Roving783950 |

Bailey was an excellent server and efficient with our order and service. Every Tuesday, we make sure we have her. Would not want to not have her.

Love the Enlightened Meals!

By PrincessInBoots |

I’ve been to BJs many times since I always love the food. It’s my first time to try the enlightened shrimp quinoa bowl and it is heavenly! I’ll definitely go back.

That soup!

By bealsmelissa99 |

Wow. This was a memorable meal. I've been a fan of bread bowls since I was a kid. First one I ever had was on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco when on holiday with my parents. I think I was 10 at the time. This bread bowl compares to any you could find in San Francisco. Awesome!

Solid comfort food

By Babelfish84 |

Stopped off here after landing at SA airport and en route home, on the recommendation of friends. Service was a little strange for me - I found our waiter a little forced and not really genuine, but that's just a matter of taste. I had the pepperoni pizza dip (amazing - dip bread in cheese and tomato and sausage, essentially) and the soup (broccoli and cheese). The pizza dip was fantastic and piping hot, the soup sadly was only lukewarm, but as we were under a time pressure, I decided not to push the point. All in all, a perfectly serviceable meal, but not one I would go out of my way for.

Great selection of lighter options

By gl925 |

We had lunch here yesterday and we were very impressed. It was our first time at a BJ's and we will definitely be back soon. The Kale and Brussels Sprout Salad (with Chicken) was one of the best salads I have had in a very long time (the only thing I would change if I could, would be that the sprouts were warm not cold). My husband had the Chicken Tacos, and the accompanying quinoa salad .. both were delicious. The service was very good (after about 6 minutes of waiting to be greeted - only negative thing.. but they were training new servers, I think that had something to do with it) and two managers were making the rounds which is always nice to see. We are looking forward to going back very soon!

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant!!!!!! And you will too!!!

By wahmsuzanne |

Not only do I love BJs restaurants in general ... I love THIS 281 location! No matter the day of week or the time ... I have always been greeted by a friendly staff and been seated quickly! We usually prefer to sit in the bar area (in a booth) and the service in both the restaurant area and the bar is exceptional! My husband and I are out to eat fairly often and we can't help but compare - this restaurant has won us over for sure. The manager will often come around and ask about your food and experience ... nice touch! P.S. Be sure to join their reward program (forget the name at the moment) but you will get emails with great specials for members - last night 1/2 off large pizzas) and you will earn points towards free and discounted food

Anniversary Lunch

By danmurphy90 |

We went to this BJ's for our anniversary lunch because it is close to our house and the menu variety. The food and service were excellent as well as the brews. Great place!

Late night visit to BJ's

By POPPA-D |

Following a late football game, we came into BJ's at 11:45 pm. Our late arrival did not hurt the service or the quality of our meals. We had a variety of food ranging from sirloin steak,to pizza, to hamburgers. Great service.

Bad service & excellent food!

By lrob21013 |

Excellent food will order take out from now on. Took over ten minutes for a menu, or any acknowledgement. Love the food but the service is very un-wowing and un-caring. Will order take out from now on .

Disappointing Food but Good Service

By Katiemeg2 |

I had heard a lot about BJ's restaurant from some relatives who live in Houston. We had a google offer for $5 off and figured we'd try it. My husband ordered the home-made rootbeer, which I must say is amazingly good. Our appetizer was the calamari, which was unfortunately not crispy but kind of soggy and chewy. We ordered the Thai Style Chicken Wontons as well, which were very tasty and sort of made up for the poor calamari. I requested the shrimp tacos while my husband got the Jambalaya. The shrimp tacos had tiny salad shrimp that were overcooked, and there was little dressing on the coleslaw making it a pretty dry meal. My husband enjoyed his Jambalaya although I didn't think it looked appetizing, and wasn't that impressed with the taste but it wasn't bad. We noticed at the end of our meal, however that our $5 coupon was for a different location. We asked the waiter, who WAS excellent, and he was able to get the manager to accept it. I think we'll probably try this place again based on the good service, but may try their pizza instead, which is suppose to be their signature dish. And I would definitely try the rootbeer (free refills!).

Good place

By Robert T |

Parking was tough Lunch time parking spots are for all businesses Food was good But it was expensive

Dinner with Ken and family

By Taylor W |

As expected. The food was average to above average for a Brewhouse and the staff was very knowledgeable and efficient. The downside was it smelled like stale beer as soon as we walked in. For me, that is a turn off.

Great local brews and food

By steelerhawk |

Probably the best stout I've had in years. Sampled 4 other locals while eating a terrific plate of rubbed and sauced ribs. I'm hoping we eat there again before we head out of town.

Zoe Post is amazing

Zoe Post was such a good take out employee. She was very fast paced as well as efficient. She had me not wanting to leave. I wish she was my server rather than my take out. That’s how you know it’s good.

Bad prime rib - no manager in view

By James P |

We ordered the prime rib - should have known better - this is not a steak house, and it demonstrated why it isn't. One half of one piece of meat was inedible due to fat and gristle. Neither entree was warm, either the meat or the sides. Did not ask for a manager and should have - regardless, during our time there, there was no management visible on the dining floor. When we started going here management was concerned and out with the customers, now it seems the remain in the back watching the staff. Both entrees were poor and one should never have made it out of the kitchen or even, for that matter, onto the grill. If you want anything other than a hamburger and a beer -- go somewhere else.

Great service.

By Retired0316 |

I know there are some reviews out there that say the service is not good. We had a party of ten and the place was really busy. The Manager and our waitress, Sydney, went above and beyond to make our visit spectacular. Ok the food was basic BJ’s food. Not bad but not exceptional. Food was hot and came out in a timely manner. I would recommend giving this place a try. See what you think!

Poor service and food quality

By PTG6 |

Just left having a $20 BJs Favorite 14" pizza anda $10 "Caesar" salad. Pizza was OK as long as you were rating it alongside Red Baron, maybe. The Caesar had little dressing, made from iceberg lettuce and the size of a small dinner salad, not an entree salad. Had to ask the waitress for everything twice. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Chis Provides Great Service

By Mac |

Chris S. Was friendly attentive gracious and amazing. Food was good. Chris checked in several times to see we had everything we needed. He brought several drinks and ensured we were having a great time. Menu choices were great.

Great food, service, and atmosphere!

By L D |

We love BJ's!!! The have a great kids menu with lots of choices! We tried the new Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. They were great. My hubby and I always love to try their house brewed beers. I had Mediterranean chicken pita, and my hubby the bison burger. Both were delicious. I also asked the waiter to expedite the kids food. It came out super quick!

Nice atmosphere

By Juanita W |

Good food, nice atmosphere, and our server was attentive. The menu is extensive so most of the food is probably precooked like many other places. Overall it is a good place to grab a quick bite.

Good food and atmosphere

By Michael K |

We enjoyed the food and I loved all the TV viewing options. The service was a little slow at times. The pizookie was on sale and it was really good.

Great soup and salad!

By CocoKim |

Of course BJs is known for their great puzookie desserts but I like to come in for their great soup and salad lunches! I really enjoy the selection they have and the all you can eat aspect without being at a buffet. There are tons of other great items to choose from and the wait staff and hostesses have always been too notch. My only grumble is that I wish there was a chicken noodle soup on the menu. It would be a great addition!

Great atmosphere, tasty food, little pricey for what you get though

By Evan C |

Pros: Terrific atmosphere from family dining to casual bar scene, nicely decorated too. Menu selection is pretty big with a lot of variety. Food and drinks here are always high quality and service matches. Even had a reserved parking space out front for combat wounded Purple Heart recipients, which I am one of so that was really appreciated. Cons: Can tend to get busy (waiting list) but this is a testament to being a good restaurant. On this visit, we ordered a calamari appetizer, really yummy but probably the smallest serving I've ever seen (especially for the price). No appetize specials which was a bummer on a Saturday early evening, but oh well, not really a complaint. Overall, definitely recommended. Will be back for sure.

I'll be back...

By 45Cocojr |

My first venture into BJ's for a work luncheon and I was impressed. The service was great, even though we only had one waitress (and she was very pregnant)! I ordered the grilled fish tacos and it was a lot of food for a lunch portion. I really liked the fish and the chips and salsa and would recommend it for sure. The atmosphere was very impressive too. I will definetly be back to try more meals and have a drink.

Five Star Service

By julia c |

I loved this place so much! Our waiter, Calvin is such an amazing waiter. He is so friendly and he always made sure to get what we wanted. I would recommend BJs to anyone who wants have a great time. I ordered the french dip and it was great! The rest of my family ordered other stuff and they all loved it! Highly recommend this place

Good food, good beer and good service

By Shanker B |

We had just finished river-walk and wanted some dinner late in the night. It was close to 11 PM and all the major restaurants were closed. This one was close to our hotel. We called them and they said that the restaurant side was closed - however, the kitchen was fully functional and if we didn't mind sitting in the bar area they would accommodate us. Service was great as soon as we walked in - they brought our drinks out quickly - my wife tried a cocktail and she said it was a little too sweet. I had the blonde beer which they brew and i liked my draft. They brought out my son's pasta first as he was famished. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and fried artichokes for appetizers. The stuffed mushrooms were awesome. The fried artichokes were a little too sour for my liking - my wife liked it - she prefers sour taste more than i do... I ordered the veggie burger with fried jalapenos and blue cheese. It was awesome. Being Vegetarians, they had a ton of options. they had a veggie burger which we could substitute instead of meat. The burger that I had was one of the best veggie burgers I have had. We had one of their signature pizzcookie...it was okay. we like our desserts not too sweet and this was just way too sweet. All in all - they offered us good food, great beer and very good service at midnight when all the other restaurants were closed. The young lady who served us was cheerful and made it a memorable service.

horrible experience

By Joshua G |

Last night I had the most disappointing dining experience in my life. I expected way more from a higher priced casual restaurant. I honestly don’t know where to begin. My wife and I decided to dine at BJs due to their eye-catching dessert (the Pizookie) and give it a try. when we arrived (about 7:00pm) it wasn’t very busy we where able to be seated quick. Our waitress greeted us and took our drink order (and let the waiting begin). I ordered a beer, wife ordered a water she came back with the water 5min later and the beer another 10 min after that. After looking over the menu I ordered the chicken fried steak burger with sweet potato fries, and my wife the It took almost 45min for us to receive or food! When I received my plate, it was completely wrong! I received just a dry un-breaded burger patty that tasted burnt with an egg and cheese on it, and regular French fries. It was not the chicken fried steak burger I ordered and did not get the sweet potato fries. My wife ordered the hickory brisket and bacon burger with pickles and French fries the waitress asked how she would like it cooked my wife said medium. When she received her plate, the burger had no pickles and was dry and over well done and had a burnt taste to it. my wife decided to order a beer (another long wait). I ordered another beer (another long wait) It took the waitress almost ten minutes after we got our food to check on us. We told her about the sweet potato fries, and we waited another 10 mins and got them cold! they were good, but they were cold. Same with the pickles. We were so upset we didn’t even finish our food. My wife and I are trying to be very patient despite all that’s happened and decided to just order the desert we came for. And guess what!? The waitress comes back 20min later to tell us that she forgot to put the order in for the Pizookie! She said she just put the order in and it would be “on the house”. The waitress gives us the check I give he my card right away so that we don’t have to wait any longer than what we already have waited. Again, another ten minutes running around with my card, and I get a notification on my phone that my card was charged $66! And my total was $58! I was furious I took the phone to the register where the manager and our waitress is standing, and I tell them as calmly as I can “is there something wrong because I was just charged $66 and the total was $58” the manager proceeds to tell me that they “swiped the wrong card, and he would take off $10”!!! I was already furious, and the waitress hands over the check to me and has the nerve to stand over me while I am signing and tell me “I’m sorry its ok if you don’t want to leave me a tip its ok”. I couldn’t even look at her cause she pissed me off so bad. I signed the check and me and my wife left in disbelief of what happened here mind you it was already 9:15pm! I was going to write this last night, but I felt I needed some composure and not rant. It is safe to say we will never be visiting this place again.

My daughters, granddaughter and I went there to celebrate her b'day and the food was great but the dessert is worth the visit. My grand lives the pizookie which is a large cookie with ice cream (vanilla bean) and baked and served hot. It's fantastically delicious.

Jazmin was a fantastic server, the food was phenomenal , and I got a new bathtub. An amazing experience. Now I don’t have to make a trip to IKEA

It's always 50-50

By FlyWithKids |

We have been here several times and it's always a 50%-50% chance of getting good service. Food is generally good, but for the rest of the experience... sometimes the servers are very nice and fast, sometimes not at all. If you intend to watch a game, it's also possible that they will show it -or not... that that will have sound on the game -or not. Even if you request it, sometimes they will grant your request and others they have said their policy won't allow them to.

Dependably good food

We have eaten at several BJ's during our annual trips to Texas. The food and service is always good. This location is also dependably good.

Great evening out

Great dinner experience

By Irma S |

Alexa and Teresa were amazing. The cherry salmon was delicious and very flavorful. It was a pleasant experience especially with are large party.

Good food and atmosphere

By AmyJosie |

I haven't had a bad experience here, but it's never been a great one either. This is a good place for good food. They have a gigantic menu, which seems like it would be difficult to support, but I haven't ever ordered anything that didn't taste and look good when it arrived. Sometimes it is very crowded and there is a wait, but that's probably a good thing. The servers are friendly, and the bar service is good as well. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either in my experience.

Getting Better and Better

By Mark R |

This review is of the newer BJ's located at The Village (shopping complex) very near the Stone Oak area of San Antonio, TX right off the 281 at the Stone Oak Parkway. We have visited here three times now and the "getting better and better" refers to the service. The food has been excellent! The receptionist(s) are still getting the hang of how a BJ's is supposed to operate. Most customers, such as ourselves, are Premier Rewards members. As such, one would not expect to be told "we'll see what we can do" for a party of 6' while they seat successive parties of 2's and 3's. Obviously with those tables available, excepting booths for two, they could be pushed together. This is exactly what happened to us on our last visit. After 15 minutes waiting, I suggested two separate booths or tables if that would be easier over one large table. I was THEN informed that the bar area is Open Seating, where two large booths (next to each other) were available. We took them and waited another 5 minutes for a server to come by. The Getting Better aspect comes into play here, where the Bar Manager came over, apologized for our lack of service and personally saw to it that a table to accommodate all of us was made available right then and there. As I said up front, the food is really good. Our prior experiences with this chain were all in Southern California were the service is top-notch. This Texas location is worth a try and we will definitely go back, just don't expect "snap-to-it" CA service. BUT THEY ARE GETTING BETTER!

Lunch w/ my wife

By ayers002 |

BJ’s is one of our go-to spots to eat after church! My wife and I go solo and we go with our family too. This place seems to be on our family’s radar. The service is always very friendly, but has been semi slow on occasion. They have a cool in-house brew selection and the Brewhouse blonde is my favorite. Today my wife and I split the cheese curds and the portobello mushroom swiss burger. We didn’t ask, but we’d mentioned that we were splitting our meal so our server Megan had it all split for us when deceived to the table. That was a kind gesture and very helpful. Burger was cooked to our preference and fries are crispy and plentiful. We love this place and will be coming here for a long time!

Great food and staff!

By Footprints60635 |

We always have a nice experience there. The food is very good and the service is amazing. We love the staff when we sit at the bar. Casey is awesome!

Happy Hour Dissapointment

By Tim R |

Up until 3 weeks ago BJ's had a decent H/H, but now they have decided to drastically up their $$$. For example, domestic bottle beer was $2 during H/H, now it's $3.5. Many apps were half off, now only $2 off menu price. They say is because of local competition that they raised their prices.

Calvin is the BEST!

Sad Attempt at Dinner

By James P |

I eat here pretty regularly, so it had to happen. Worst meal ever - pulled pork. It was actually chunked pork, in a stew of juice, with soggy bun, and thin (not so crisp) fries left over from lunch. Nutty Brewnette was good. Service was good during meal, but frequent eater number was not entered so could not e-pay, and then took several tries to get the bill with credit card picked up and paid. Mini-pizza was good.

BJ's Restaurant is an upscale chain restaurant with something for everyone on the menu. We were a party of 7 and they sat us in a large, comfortable booth. The server came over promptly to take drink orders. We all ordered something different on the menu: soup, salads, pasta, salmon & pizza. All of our meals were very good. There is also a children's menu and in house made beers and root beer. Sports fans will also enjoy the restaurant because there are many TV's on showing different sports event.

Long day of travel, needed a quick dinner. This place hit the spot. Food was great, staff was friendly and attentive. Early dinner so didn't have to wait for a table.

Good food, Great Service

Stopped here on Saturday before the 4th of July for lunch. The place was a little busy, but our hostess acknowledged and engaged us and showed us to our booth. Christina was our server and she did an excellent job. We had the House salad, and the grilled California chicken club sandwich with sweet potato fries. The food was appetizing and presented well. Tasty chicken! The special root beer was enjoyable as was the blonde pint. All in all an enjoyable experience. I tend to forget about this place, the people are nice, the food good and it's close to me. Need to come back more often.

Bailey was the best waitress ever. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She went above & beyond to keep us happy. She deserves a raise! We give her a 10++!

Quinoa chicken & spinach bowl was outstanding, crispy chicken salad, balsamic chicken, & deep dish zita were all done to perfection. Our server Edie was very friendly and efficient. Looking forward to going back to try many other items on their great menu.
