Great service great food happy servers good atmosphere lots of choices clean and a fun place to be. Great buffet in the morning

Very few decent restaurant choices in the area so I gave in and tried the one in the hotel. Calamari was wonderful and had a decent burger with sweet potato fries. Topped if off with desert and went to bed happy and full. Service was very good and very friendly and prompt to anything I needed.

This restaurant was the best food we had during our Portland stay. We tried many highly recommended restaurants, and I was thoroughly impressed with Blvd. We had breakfast and dinner here twice. Our servers were all very friendly and nice. The chilaquiles and rigatoni dishes were my favorite! The other items were also delicious. Pricing was very decent, so we were very impressed. BLVD also provides food at the bar in the hotel lobby, which made for an even better game-watching experience. :)

I wasn't a guest at the hotel but a pedestrian who was way over-heated on a warm August day and in need of sustenance. I ducked into BLVD thinking that I should have my head examined for expecting much from a bar/restaurant in a Courtyard. But being Portland one can find great food in the strangest places. And I did. First, thank you to the bartenders who were absolutely charming and helpful. Great service. I didn't eat much but had some of the happy hour appetizers and all were good quality. The atmosphere is quite pleasant as well. All in all, don't assume as I did. This is a nice find in an unexpected place.

I was staying at the hotel and decided to eat at the BKVD Bar after the clerk at check in gave me a $10 off voucher. After going to my room to freshen up I looked up a few options near by and decided I'd take advantage of the location and the voucher. I seated myself at the bar and was said hello to within a minute of sitting at the bar. I order a cider and began looking over the menu. I went with the Crab Mac and Cheese ($22) and sweet potato fries ($6) prepared with garlic and parmesan. The food was delivered in a fair amount of time. Both items were extremely good. I would order them both again. My low rating was completely tied to the servers. After my first cider was empty it took them at least eight minutes to refill (it wasn't very busy - to the point that one of them kept saying he was ready to go home). When I finally went to cash out I gave the server my voucher and he said he would ring it all up and after I signed the room charge (I assumed it was so he could make sure I was tipping for the full amount vs the discounted amount) he would just apply the $10 after that. Well I signed it and left the tip and assumed my bill would drop from $45 to $35 when I checked out. It didn't, so I had to go to the desk and advise them and they apologized and took care of it. With all that being said the food was on point! The servers are what brought it down so much, maybe next time I won't sit at the bar so I don't have to hear their work issues.

BLVD offers a buffet style breakfast and menu items. The buffet is not worth $16. The food is good and the staff are friendly.

Great staff! Magdalena was terrific! And the food was good and nicely priced for a metropolitan hotel restaurant.

What a pleasant surprise. I stay at Courtyards all over the country and none have the restaurant facility as this hotel. There is an omelette station and a full spread of breakfast items and the food doesn’t taste like the generic version that so many other hotels serve. I think I spent $17 for the breakfast which isn’t bad for a hotel. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn’t open until 6:30 AM which is inconvenient for those early risers like me!

On a recent trip to Portland I stayed at the Courtyard. Honestly, I didn't expect a lot from BLVD but ate there one evening because I was just too tired to walk any more. But, much to my surprise, the food was great, as was the service. I liked it so much that I went back one day for lunch and had a second great meal, with the same great service. If you're staying at the Courtyard, or even if you're not, you should stop in here for a meal.

Quick bite in the hotel lobby before a concert, watched some hockey and had a couple beers. Great meal and staff, make sure to order before last call, I got lucky!

Did not have steak that I wanted, disappointing. Did try my second choice and that was the salmon and it was very good. Did not completely feel full after eating.

Breakfasts are good. The buffet includes eggs cooked to order, fruit, breads. The wait staff is great, but they are overworked. When I had dinner, there were open tables but the staff wouldn't seat me until I asked about the open tables and then it was a wait.

Full service resto instead of the quicker breakfast bar like most Courtyards. Has breakfast with a colleague and it was great. Would definitely eat there again.

One server tended bar, kept everyone's drinks filled, stayed on top of the kitchen, delivered meals, and never kept anyone waiting between 5 and 6 pm. She was amazing. Prices were very reasonable. Choices were very good.

We weren't sure about a hotel breakfast buffet for $16 but we were very pleasantly surprised. A really good selection of fruit and yogurt. Omelets, waffles and pancakes made to order and delicious chicken sausages. Coffee, teas and juice included.

My server, Kyler, was great he recommended and convinced me to get the crab Mac & cheese and it did not disappoint. And he made me one hell of a Manhattan.

What an excellent place! Great staff and service, sure to be a good experience! Good burgers and even better flat bread items. Several in our group raved about the Mac and cheese. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant and casual. A good place to hang out with friends.

We had some exceptional service two of the three mornings for breakfast and "above and beyond" service from our waiter at lunch when they had officially closed.

The breakfast buffet was excellent and high quality. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The happy hour deals and selections were very good.

This restaurant is inside the Courtyard Portland Downtown/Convention Center hotel, for that reason its convenient if you are staying there. We did not have to wait long to eat breakfast, they have a wide range of food and everyone enjoyed it. The only problem is that the service was a little slow, but it was breakfast and I imagine this is their busiest time.

This place is in the Courtyard Marriott Downtown/Convention Center. Unfortunately, the only food service is from the bar (or room service if you stay at the hotel). It is a shame, because the food is good. But we were here on a day after a conference. There was only one bartender. He took all orders at the bar and the food was sent to the table. The problem was that there were dozens of people leaving the conference at the same time and only the one person to take orders. The po' boy was excellent. Homemade potato chips were very good. They had a small selection of local beer on tap.

Not a bad place to eat at all. The service is excellent and we enjoyed it. We will eat here again next time we visit Portland.

The salmon chowder was thick, hot, interestingly spiced and tasty. A bowl can be a meal by itself. Single crab cake came with parsley rice and a few sautéed veggies. Beautiful presentation and crab was light and perfectly prepared. The outstanding dish was the walnut pesto pasta. The cavatelli was perfectly done and the pesto was absolutely fabulous! Highly recommended.

I go here when I stay at the Courtyard. The food is wonderful and the staff is friendly! Restaurant atmosphere is very welcoming.

The new breakfast chef, Sammy, is very friendly and made some delicious eggs and waffles for us! The servers were lovely too, but I cannot remember their names.

Met a friend for dinner here and we both found several tempting items on the menu. She ended up with the Salmon and I had the Bolognese. Both were delicious! No room for dessert. Breakfast the next day was also good. There was someone at the grill making omelets and other egg options, a waffle bar, other hot food in chafing dishes, fruit, yoghurt, oatmeal, and plenty of pastry options. I had the breakfast included with my room, but you can also order and pay separately.
good food with good service
We had our evening meal at BLVD and we eat around 5 pm which in this restaurant meant that we had the waiter to ourselves. He was very helpful and the food was very good.
