A varied culinary experience, but some disappointments

By Cedric T |

We had dinner at the Bacchanal Buffet for December 31st. Our experience is as follows: Pros: A wide variety of dishes, with specialties from several countries. It’s perfect for discovering different culinary cultures. Despite a huge queue (many people that night), the staff managed very well and remained efficient. Chefs cut and serve meat on site, which guarantees a beautiful quality. Areas for improvement: The portions served by the chefs are far too generous, which is a significant waste. A disappointment on the announced "caviar", which turns out to be in reality lump eggs, not real caviar. Unpleasant surprise on arrival: when booking on OpenTable, the menu was advertised at $85, but on site, the actual price for December 31 was $140 per person, which is frustrating and lacks transparency. In short, the Bacchanal Buffet offers an interesting dining experience with a wide variety of dishes, but some details, such as waste, false “caviar” and lack of clarity on prices, tarnish the whole thing a little.

Stay Away from! No pride - go to Wynn -so much better!

By Ken S |

The food was deplorable- They only give us 100 letters to try to give a proper review. They are not interested. Chef has no pride waitress was nice. Food was so bad. Had to get a burger after leaving!

Recommended for those with large appetites. Worth a try

By HavFrkWilTrvl |

This is worth a try if you want a wide variety of foods, cuisines, and have a big appetite. There were only a handful of dishes that were memorable which are hot snow crab legs with drawn butter, seared scollops , bone marrrow, menudo soup and the special ordered pasta. The prime rib was mediocre and did not have the rich beefy flavor a good prime rib.

Overcrowded…

By Luv_ Rachmaninoff_No2 |

This was our first time dining here. The buffet offered many stations with a variety of food from seafood, meat carvings, asian, Mexican, etc. with amazing desserts. The restaurant was packed with too many people. There was a long line to get snow crab legs where we spent waiting close to ~15 minutes. It would have been more efficient to already dish out crab legs onto a plate (similar to how other Vegas buffets) to reduce long line, especially since there’s a 90-minutes time limit & people were picking & choosing crab legs. We weren’t as impressed, mainly due to overcrowded setting.

Great Selection!

By PokerPsychic |

This buffet had the best selection of food for any of the buffets we visited this trip. This was also the most expensive buffet we visited this trip. Service was drink only. The only disappointment was the desert options. The crepes were popular, and after two attempts I was still not able to get one before my 90 minute time limit expired. Not sure if we will go back to this buffet, based on the higher price.

It is not worth it.

By Islander |

They live from their location, but not from the quality of their food. When you come here, just expect a very standard mass tourism buffet you pay about 118 Dollars per person. They make you pay the entrance fee AND EVEN THE TIP in advance.

Restaurant Excellent!!!!

By Troy W |

Three months ago, my family and I visited Bacchanal Buffet. We made a reservation for lunch. The staff was very friendly when we went. I ate Asian food and was impressed by the taste. Very good price (85 dollars each person) however a bit expensive. Overall, I liked this restaurant.

A fairly complete buffet but nothing more

By César R |

Being a super famous buffet, I don't think it offers anything wooow taking into account the price and/or the time of at least one day in advance to make the reservation. Very rich flavors (especially the Mexican season). I guess on my next visit I will try to look for those buffets with super discount prices since this one doesn't offer anything mega wooow what you would expect inside Cesar's

One and done

By bchawla |

The quality of the food is average at best. Cost $100 per person and is overpriced. Lots of choices including Mexican, Philippine, Chinese, etc. If you want to eat lobster, prawns, octopus, beef etc, then it may be ok. People were heaping lobster on their plate. Plenty of choices for dessert, but again not of good quality. The Ice cream was well below average, Nice waitress lady wiring there for 20 years.

Turned Away for "Dress Code"

By MrsCarter627 |

My husband and I tried to go here after the Michael Jackson O Cirque du Soleil show. It wasn't my top choice for buffet because others had higher ratings, but it was convenient and we were hungry. We got in line and I noticed one of the two hostesses were starring at me, looking quite bothered. No one greeted us, until we finally asked if there was seating available. One hostess said they had to check because we didn't have reservations, then the other disgusted hostess came back and said they had to check on the dress code. I asked what the issue was and she looked at me in disgust and said the slit in my skit (which showed the side of my thigh) and then proceeded to ask me if I was wearing anything under the clothing...which I certainly was. At that point, we just left. Unbelievable. We went back to our hotel (Aria) and had a much better experience and dinner at the Steakhouse there - WITH NO ISSUES AND NO LOOKS OF DISGUST).

Open Minded Review

By Jules M |

My partner and I spent a week in Vegas and decided to try the Bacchanal Buffet at the Magnificent Ceasar’s Palace on our last night in this incredible city. We had watched a number of YouTubers review a good selection of Vegas buffets prior to choosing the Bacchanal, and this had the best ratings. We made a reservation for 8pm and arrived 15 minutes early and were greeted and told to wait in line. One thing I noticed was people being turned away who didn’t have a reservation - so my advice would be to make a booking on Open Table a couple of days before to avoid disappointment. We were then greeted by a very nice cashier who asked that we make a payment prior to entering the buffet, I fully understand the reason for this as it ensures nobody dines and dashes, however one thing that I would advise against is paying the tip in advance which is optional. We paid 20% up front and had to get up and get our own drinks and move our own plates as we couldn’t find our server at times, probably because they were extremely busy, but for $214.00 I expect a certain level of attentiveness. In 90 minutes we had our drinks refreshed 2 or 3 times, which I felt was quite poor and this only happened when the server saw my partner get up and get a pitcher of water. My partner and I have different food pallets so the buffet was a great dining option for us. I loved the brisket and the mashed potatoes, and the Chinese food was some of the best I have tried. My partner loved the snow crab and the Mexican selection, and we both indulged in the deserts - the chocolate lava cake in particular was a hit. The real question - was it worth the money? No. I think had be both been sea food lovers and had plate after plate of crabs legs and lobster then we would have had our money’s worth - and there were people sat around us who clearly went with that plan in mind! It was a great experience however and we had a lovely evening trying new things with nothing off limits.

Best buffet on the strip

By CanadianAsh1234 |

We went at 9AM when it opened for breakfast and it was amazing!! So much variety, so clean, no lineups, wonderful service, all the food was out for 9AM service. 90 min max sitting time. I consider this the best buffet on the strip. I would recommend and will return.

If you love seafood and beef this it

By mary ann N |

The best buffet in Vegas only one at night -- pricey well it depends cause the seafood they have and the beef is worth every penny -- the seafood is over the top everything tasted great -- we loved it - it was worth the money and experience = we loved it

Enjoyed but not amazed.

By Steve H |

It was good. Was I ‘wowed’, no. Crazy wait times, despite reservation. One if those I’ve done it, but wouldn’t worry about doing again. Table service was excellent but with the proportional 15-20% tip based on your check (defaults at 22% I believe) you would expect it to be. $99 USD each.

So much food Such high quality

By sassysagesays |

I was very hesitant to make a reservation at a buffet. Although I saw the great reviews, I assumed a buffet could never be that good. I was wrong. All of our party ages 4-70 enjoyed the meal. Each plate felt like it was made to order, with incredible flavors and high quality ingredients. It is definitely worth the hype and long lines.

Buffet with a lot of cold food…

By Jake H |

A lot of the food I got was cold. Prime rib was tough. Trip-tip was tough. Scallops were cold. Rice was cold and hard Deserts were lacking

Buffet for dinner

By Heather B |

Despite making a reservation we still had to wait in like for around 15 minutes. The stations range from Asian - seafood - Latin - Italian - American. Some stations have fresh…prepared upon order food while others are sitting under a heat lamp. The busser did a great job clearing the plates quickly. Drinks are extra charge so we had water. I attribute the $95 per person price to the fact that you can eat endless snow crab legs the entire time, people are there to do just that. Overall good but not great…maybe I’m not a buffet person who knows.

Excellent experience

By Julie S |

4 of us went to the buffet in the early evening. Fabulous experience. Good quality uality food and well presented with a varied menu to cater for all. Great service. Well worth the price

Way Overrated

By mlbaker15 |

In my opinion this place is sooo overrated it’s ridiculous. The seafood was all previously frozen and was mushy. Nothing was fresh. I expect more at 100.00/person. I would never go back nor can I recommend this to anyone going to Las Vegas. This might be why people are putting the brakes on when considering Las Vegas as a destination, way overpriced and food quality that is sub par.

I want to go back

By sk8 |

Everything is really good wish we have more time and space to eat. Just a long wait to get in and sit, wait service is satisfactory. A tip: crab legs and shellfish will take some time to finish. Be smart on how you spend the 90 minute buffet. Over all worth it! My personal favorites are: Menudo and Cinnamon rolls. Idk why. So good. Lol

Food allergy

By Lisa M |

I have a garlic allergy and chef Christian went out of his way to walk me around the huge buffet, pointing out which dishes were safe for me to eat. He also made two Asian dishes especially for me and offered to carve a variety of meats prior to seasoning. Thanks so much to Christian for being so accommodating!

It’s an experience

By Niamh 🐝 |

Encouraged to book by a friend. Attended for our allotted time but still had to wait for around 30 mins to be seated as they take a large volume of walk ins. I would say generally the concept of a buffet is my least favourite but it was good to try a variety of cuisines in one place. Staff were accommodating and friendly. I would say the experience is overpriced but is still an experience all the same.

Good Value But Quality Declining Over Time

By AHJr |

I've been to the Bacchanal Buffet a few times over the years and sadly the quality has gone down a notch every time I visit. With that said, even for it's high price, it's worth it with. With so many choices, it's easy to get your money's worth in Vegas standards. Plus the selection is huge, ranging from seafood, meats, American, Mexican, Italian, Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc., you'll definitely find some food you enjoy. Plus, the dessert section in quite large and the crepes are excellent. With that said, you'll find a lot of average, at best, food. But, so long as you stick to the expensive stuff, it's easy to eat $100 worth of food by Vegas standards, where most restaurants are now in the $30+ range, at minimum for entries alone. IMO, it's a must visit, if you've never been just to experience it and splurge while in Vegas.

shuttered expectations

By Dylan Gray |

Hyped online I really can't understand how they dare to charge what they charge. Sea food was not super fresh , 80 percent of the meat was sub par, with huge lumps of inedible fat attached to merely ok tasting meat. Asian and Mexican cood section were ok I guess. Best thing was the pita gyros, actually very good.... Was expecting much much more for the price. Not recommended.

Poor Experience.

By BonitaBeacher |

Laughably Unorganized Reservation System. The wait with a resrervation is ridiculous and the staff is running around with no idea what they are doing. The servers mark your ticket and time your experience while giving poor service. They don't efficiently clear plates or refill beverages but they are great at timing you which does not make for a good dining experience. Much of the food is cold and Sysco quality with long lines that take up most of your time. No way is it worth $100.00 per person plus alcohol and gratuity. The complaints in the reviews have been the same for the last 2 years which shows you they have no intention of changing their policies, food or service. Their response is always the same. "Thank You for sharing your thoughts. We understand your frustration. Blah Blah Blah. What they are really saying is Too Bad we already have your money! So sad that Caesars has come to this. They used to be known for class and customer service.

Terrible ambiance and super loud

By DecoWorldTraveler |

Terrible terrible terrible. Not worth a visit at all. It is super crowded, super loud, smelly, dirty, food was simply average and drinks cheap. There is absolutely no reason to charge so much for a buffet you can get at golden corral. Very disappointed we wasted any time on this place. Go somewhere else! Not worth your time or money… unfortunately

Something delicious for everyone

By Adele R |

Delicious variety. American, Mexican, Italian, Philippine, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Indian, etc Amazing seafood station lobster, snow crabs, shrimp, etc

Great buffet but at a ridiculous price

By Dave |

First of all, as buffets goes this is top notch. The problem is the price. At $84 it's just not a good deal (remember - it's just a buffet). You could easily get a great meal for that price at a thousand restaurants in Vegas. They limit your time to 90 minutes but an hour is all you need to work your way through all the food stations. At this price, I just don't see the attraction anymore.

Very Large Buffet In Las Vegas

By Ryan |

This was by far the largest buffet we had ever been to. The choices were endless. From the King Crab legs to the Prime Rib, the food was really good. They had tacos, chicken, pizza, and pretty much anything you could think of. The desserts were really good, and for how many choices there are, you might as well try them all. The only knock I would say is the lines. This is a really busy buffet, and you definitely need a reservation. Even then, you may not be seated at your reservation time, so arrive a few minutes early. Overall though the food and the service here is really good. Just be prepared to spend some money so show up hungry.

Save your money and go somewhere else, expensive, cold food not much veggies

By joannehurley |

Lots of options, especially if you eat fish. The food was mostly cold, poor quality and really overpriced. Save your money and go to a cheaper buffet. There was around USD 100 per person. The dessert section was really good lots of options.

Overpriced , cold food, grumpy staff

By Sarah G |

Im sorry to say this was awful arrived on time , made to que with non reserved people even though i had a reservation . Service was not good , ques for all food , and everything was cold . Selections were not as good as advertised ..unfortunately for nearly 200 pounds , it definatly wasnt worth it. We left after only half an hour as the foid that was served cold was making us feel sick . There are better cheaper buffetts to attend in vegas .

Seafood buffet for me

By Flyer47484578882 |

Crab legs were very good. Sushi was average at best. That’s what I was there for the seafood. The meat looked very good, but I did not have any and the dessert was excellent.

Buffet choice

By Bill K |

This is the best buffet in Vegas. Well worth the cost. Prime rib excellent. Fab sea food and puddings are great. Staff are polite and helpful. The drink package is expensive.

Wide choice, but high price

By Sandrine L |

We went there on the evening of December 31. There were a lot of people, so a lot of expectations, despite everything the staff handled very well. There is a lot to eat, a lot of cuisine represented: Asian, Italian, Mexican, French, American... and a great choice of spitmeat and seafood, so necessarily for all tastes. Even if the taste and quantity are there, we know buffets with more affordable rates, here we also pay the pitch. The price for the 31st (150th / people) is a bit high for the quality of the dishes, for example, we are advertised caviar, it was more like lump eggs. Even if there is a wide choice, rates can be reviewed. I keep the overall rating of TB because despite everything, you can find good things to eat especially for seafood fans.

The online prices weren’t accurate, lines (with reservations) were insane, and our seating was cut short.

By Bess N |

Online the pricing was $80 per person and it turned out being $110 with no warning and no information online or while making reservations about the change in price. Also we had a reservation for 8:45 pm and got to the restaurant at 8:30 pm but weren’t seated until about 9:45 pm. Little did we know they stopped serving everything at 10:45 pm so although we were supposed to have a 90 minute seating, it was cut 30 min short. When I went to the front to ask the cashier for a manager, she sent me back to my table to wait for the manager. When the manager Edgar finally came by, he was extremely dismissive and said that the cashier I had just talked to had gone home for the night so he was unable to help me or compensate me in anyway for our shortened experience. Our server did not tell us about this last call and so we did not have a chance to look at the deserts at all. Overall very unfortunately experience and not worth the wait or the price. Food was quite dry and you can tell that the quality dropped for the last few seatings.

BE PREPARED!

By Marlaina G |

If I were rating my experience solely on staff, it would be lower around 1 star and the star. Please understand this was my BIRTHDAY trip and I was super excited to be trying this place for the first time. My wish is that that came with better staff. They have a couple different lines for different kinds of guests. When it’s your first time and you’re not a local to Vegas you don’t know what’s what, you’re trying to make sure to get on the correct line. Crowd control is horrible . There’s a confusion when to know which you follow (walk in, reservation, diamond, etc.) They will pull and redirect into the right line after some time. If you ask the staff a question forget about it! While standing on the line you’re expected to not ask questions to the staff. The hostess Grisella was obviously being rude to customers, including myself. As an example she will pretend not to hear you when you’re speaking. However, I will say once the trauma you get past the trauma of getting past the door. The service inside is much different & better. Mark, who attended our table, was an absolute delightful person to encounter. I never had cold seafood at a restaurant. They have a wide variety of dishes choose from, a little something for everyone. Side note they have a crepe making station. If crepe is your jam I think that was pretty neat. For that price, rather than an upscale experience, it is comparable to your 90 minute lunch break in High School.

OK dinner buffet

By Alyssa B |

We had early reservations here one night (5:15) for dinner. Would highly recommend making reservations as by the time we left, the line was very long to get in. The food was good, but I don't think it was worth the price that you pay as this buffet is expensive. The dessert buffet was the highlight for us. If you are a huge seafood fan, it might be more worth it as they do have a lot of seafood offerings

Do not pay to eat here

By Justin M |

I learned a valuable lesson, never pay to eat at a casino buffet. If you have it comped than so be it. Otherwise, put the $100 toward one of the actual great restaurants in Caesars (Peter Lugers, Amalfi, etc). I was very disappointed with the lack of freshness in most of what was available, although the prime rib and the brisket were okay. Wouldn't return on my own dime.

Incredible food options. Service okayish. Ambience poor.

By Markus_Ldn |

Incredible food options. The looks of it, most people come for the crab legs! Service okayish. Ambience poor, crowded and loud. And very pushy to get you on the minute out, when your limit is up! This left some bitter aftertaste, especially as they were up-pricing on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and called a normal day a holiday!

Big 50 Bday Meal

By cja_615 |

Great experience. Been here before pandemic and this time is even better, more food options ( so happy about the variety of it) ambience is really nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating even from the front desk to the servers... Spent my husband's 50th bday on this visit with 11 people in the group.

Must Try

By 4Martinez |

Make a reservation people. Saw a couple join the queue only to be told they needed a reservation to join the queue. The line lasted about 30-40 min with an Open Table reservation set up through Yelp. Luckily, went fast for the number of people. It cost us $188/two people. But WOW! The offerings and quality. First round was about the seafood especially the crab legs for hubby and lobster claws. I started with the lobster claw and octopus salad(really yummy). Second round was the aguachile(meh) and campechana (must have a Mexicano in the kitchen-delicious). They had tacos al pastor, fish tacos and iconic carne asada. I didn't try them but seemed to be enjoyed by all. I was excited to try the quesabirria(quesadillas with birria-think this is the touch of the Mexicanos because this is street food level goodness and was 'chef's kiss.' Now food snobs may say that street food doesn't belong where you pay $90+ person but birria needs a touch and Caesars put its trust in the right Mexicanos. Third round, brisket was divine. The best I have had outside of my house. They had cheese board fixings with 4-6 different cheeses, the best honeycomb honey evaaa, and the best crostini with fresh fig and brie(pair it with honey). They had Asian dishes that looked so delicious but I just couldn't eat anymore. They had dumplings, potstickers, sushi(dragon roll) and edamame(salted and spicy). So much goodness but I am a mere mortal. Now, I was full but I had to try the dessert so bread pudding it was(my go to) with a scoop of vanilla gelato(they had like 12 flavors!). They had macaroons and all kind of sweet goodness like mochi donuts and even Thai iced tea!!! I have been ordained as a follower of the great Bacchus, god of merriment and indulgence.

Perfect 21st Birthday Dinner - Crab Legs for Days!!

By Matthew L |

When we told my daughter we were celebrating her 21st birthday in Las Vegas, she had just one request: a buffet with amazing crab legs. After doing her research, she picked Bacchanal Buffet, and we are so glad she did! Pro tip: Definitely make a reservation. It was a lifesaver! The place is understandably popular, but having a booking got us through the line and seated much faster than the standby crowd. Once we were at our table, the service was fantastic—our server was friendly, quick, and very attentive. The food selection was absolutely incredible, but the crab legs were the real star of the show. They were delicious, and the chefs did a phenomenal job of keeping the station fully stocked despite high demand. Beyond the crab, the entire seafood spread was impressive. Everything was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. I was honestly blown away by the quality and service—this isn't just 'good for a buffet,' it’s just excellent food, period. It was the perfect spot for a birthday celebration!

Good racket

By Ron L |

I see, there is a $25 cancelation fee per person for reservations that are not met. But when you get there, 10 minutes before your reservation, you wait an hour and a 1/2. The only reservation that was available was at 845, and we didn't get into the buffet until 10 PM. At which time they were closing, pretty good deal. They can get $25 per person for their own failure to meter out reservations appropriately

Delicious buffet

By Emma L |

A must if you are looking for a brunch in vegas. Price $64.99 each plus tax. You choose what tip you want to add to your bill (use custom button). Selection of food incredible and regular offerings of juices, coffees etc. service outstanding. Quality of goods excellent. Large dining area so doesn’t feel packed. Plenty of food on offering no short supplies. The desert counter is out of this world. Didn’t need to eat again for the rest of the day!

Not worth the price

By Keong H |

I took my daughter here to celebrate her 25th birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised when the staff gifted her a free mimosa — that was such a thoughtful touch and made her feel special. The atmosphere was energetic and enjoyable, and the presentation of the food was truly impressive. However, I was disappointed with the overall quality of the food this time. The Asian dishes were good, but the kimchi fried rice was overly hard and crunchy, which made it unpleasant to eat. It seemed like it had either been over-fried or sitting out for a while. The Cajun crab claws also lacked flavor — the seasoning was only on the outside, and once you got to the meat, there was no taste at all. I was especially excited to see crème brûlée on the menu, but unfortunately, it was the worst I’ve ever had. The sugar top wasn’t crunchy, and the custard didn’t taste right. I also tried the chocolate mousse, which was too bitter, and even mixing it with the vanilla didn’t help. The dessert section overall was very disappointing. I ended up eating grapes and melon, which were actually quite good. It really says something that I only had one plate, which is disappointing considering it was an all-you-can-eat buffet. For the price — about $200 for a Saturday visit — I could have had a better meal for much less at a regular restaurant. This wasn’t my first time dining here — I’ve been at least four times before and always enjoyed it — but this experience was by far the worst. That said, our server was very pleasant, and the rest of the staff were kind and attentive, which I truly appreciated. I didn’t share my disappointment with my daughter because I didn’t want to spoil her special day. I truly hope that in the future, the restaurant can return to the high standards it once had.

Not worth the cost or wait

By ohsooocute |

I heard great things about this buffet so I thought I would try it out. I went and paid the fee, over $90 for lunch/brunch. I thought it was a bit pricey but I went anyway bc I heard such good things about it. Well there were a lot of choices but everything I tried (lumpia, elote, filipino meat on a stick, rice/beans, fried pork skin, pizza (meat and breakfast), and a bunch of desserts) the only things that were decent were the elote and desserts. Honestly it was not worth the money. I would or should have gone to McDonalds, they would have tasted better and are cheaper than this buffet.

Consider Dining Elsewhere

By Tara S |

I’m never one to leave reviews, but I had to share my not great dining experience. We booked this buffet for my Birthday and flew into a vegas specifically to experience this Buffet. We sat down and immediately felt rushed. I tried everything that didn’t contain land meat and I was left feeling nauseous at the end of our dining experience. Seafood was not fresh, very watery (had to squeeze the water out of the lobster claw meat, as I bit into it, it was like a water lobster gusher) and my stomach began to feel wheezy after eating the cold shrimp. There was a lobster claw that was expired and when I told the server at the seafood station, they just said sorry. Everything tasted old. I’m a food lover and will eat just about anything, but I took bites of what was on my plate and didn’t want to finish the plate. My husband knew I wasn’t impressed because he knows I always finish my food. For the price, I’m absolutely dissatisfied with this buffet. I was not expecting this and was left feeling disappointed, to be honest. I thought this was going to the an awesome buffet food experience, but it was the opposite.

Not worth the price

By Y8761ZFbryanc |

The buffet is very good but Caesars raised the price once again. With tax and tip you’re looking at $100. It simply isn’t worth the price. I’ve enjoyed the many times I have eaten at the buffet but I won’t be going back. And judging from the amount of guests that were there when we went, it appears a lot of people feel the same way. In previous times, it was packed. This time, there was no one in line ahead of us.

Rude staff

By Lucky T |

OMG, came in here for the experience, and can only eat two plate. I had some bones and scraps I asked the server to find out if I can take it back to my room, he said yes. While existing, the lady and manager grabbed the bones and took it away and made a scene in front of a line of people waiting in line. Most embarrassing and humiliating experience ever. As a diamond plus client, I would expect a little more respect. It is just trash, dude acted like a cop stopping a criminal. The hostess was a bit h too!

Strange experience.

By redingo |

This could be so much better. Paid nearly 500 USD for four including drinks. Expected a buffet along the lines of the palm Atlantis in Dubai for the price and location but it’s a poor shadow of that. The experience starts poorly with the reservation process and never really recovers. Reservations don’t guarantee you a table at the time you book. It just gets you a place in the long waiting line for tables with everyone else. If this restaurant was anywhere else you would not bother queueing for a table. When you get to payment you’re then asked to select a service charge before you’ve had any service and when you’re actually the server yourself! You tip the drinks waiter separately once inside. Food is pretty average with a big emphasis on the raw seafood bar. However it’s clear there’s been a few days since the shellfish last saw the sea as no remnants of the deep see flavour left. If you like quantity over quality and don’t mind a canteen type sitting area, go for it. We were looking to have a great culinary experience though and there must be better places on the strip than this for that. We maybe just made the wrong choice but won’t be back.

HIDEOUS!!!

By Diane N |

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! We went for the seafood experience & the deserts were the best part. The lobster claws didn’t have any flavor. I don’t know what that stuff is they call drawn butter. I do have to say the chefs & servers behind the stations were helpful & happy.

Not worth it!

By Fifie L |

Not worth the price. Nothing extra same old same old like any other buffet. The server behind the steamed crab counter was very rude. I saw him yelling and even take his spatula and hit the woman on the hand. He was not behind the counter and there was a line up. The woman was first on the line and decided to help herself when he came in. He was not happy and started yelling at her. I don't agree with that. Hopefully Ceasar Palace sees that comment and has a talk with him so he doesn't do that to another customer.

MUST TRY AND WELL WORTH THE MONEY! Great experience if you are a foodie

By Laith N |

Many food selections, extravagant seafood dishes, roasted beef, pork roast, Mexican station with freshly baked tacos, chips, Italian section with pasta station and assorted charcuterie boards with fine cheeses. Vegan options, Mediterranean section, Asian section with dumplings and all the good stuff. Sushi stations. Wide variety of sweets available including a station for fresh crapes , and Ice cream. Carbonated beverages included as well as coffee and tea. Must visit to get the full experience, words can’t describe the food and the taste. We paid $86 plus tax and plus gratitude for each adult. Kids 4 and under are free. There is 90 minutes limit for staying and it’s enforced, which is not really enough if you want to take your time to enjoy the food.

A must do

By msrichard6 |

Best buffet ever! Tons of choices-very efficient, very clean and desserts were plenty and not just sliced Costco desserts. Loved crab legs, prime rib, and of course desserts. Pricey but worth it.

A fun experience

By Tmai |

Bacchanal Buffet is famous for being big and fancy for a buffet. Not so much a good value, but a great experience for brunch. Service was solid, the chefs are friendly and enjoy showing off their wares. Appreciate their approach to buffets, huge variety but small bites. Allowed us to sample a ton of different dishes presented in artful ways. Very important to us as we are not big eaters, and most buffets fill us up too quickly.

Probably one of the most professional buffets in Vegas

By Steven W |

I've been here multiple time but I usually don't write reviews. I went here with a couple of friends, we walked in and the servers sat our party of 5 almost immediately, even thought there were other people waiting, I don't think that anybody in our group had diamond status so I was confused. We got seated and our server Jim was nice and fast, even though the place looked slammed. Food was great as always. they do have an overwhelming amount of seafood, and as somebody who doesn't eat most seafood, I was still able to find plenty of other things. The selection here is unlike anything you will find anywhere else. A banger anytime, breakfast, lunch or dinner, this place still hits. Honestly one of the most up and coming places in Vegas. Great aura and just unbelievable customer service. And I must have gotten at least 4 compliments on the Richard Mille that I was wearing that day. Great experience from the Bacchanal at Caesars.

Overpriced and Overhyped – Not Worth It

By Larry Liu |

The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is honestly a rip-off. It costs over $90 per person, and you’re expected to tip before even stepping inside. Shouldn’t I at least see the service first before deciding on a tip? And, of course, the service was terrible. The servers barely paid attention, and even when I asked for water refills or to clear my plates, they just ignored me. Unbelievable. The food was mediocre at best, and the selection was disappointing. A random five-star hotel buffet in Beijing or Shanghai for 400–500 RMB would be way better. I was hoping for some decent sashimi, but after searching everywhere, the closest thing I found was some salmon and tuna nigiri. The soy sauce and wasabi came in tiny packets, just like the ones at cheap sushi joints. The only thing remotely worth eating was the snow crab legs. I ended up spending 60 out of my 90-minute dining limit just cracking crab legs, and the remaining 30 minutes waiting in line for more. The next morning, I woke up with swollen gums from biting into crab shells. The expensive price tag would be one thing, but why did I still have to wait in line after making a reservation on OpenTable? I arrived at 7 PM and had to wait over 30 minutes just to get in. Fine, whatever. But then once inside, I had to wait in line again to get food! Snow crab? Line. Carved meats? Line. And they only give you 90 minutes to eat! For the $100+ (including tip) I spent here, I could have had a proper, high-quality meal somewhere else. Why did I put myself through this?

Buffet Bar None

By Mezcal_Tours |

This dinner buffet was exactly as represented to us by a friend, so there were no surprises either with price or variety of fare. I think I would go again if in Vegas, though there are so many other great options.

Oh dear, what a circus...

By machinmad |

Oh dear, what a circus. More people than seats. More food than anybody could reasonably eat. More wasted food than humanity should allow. More expensive than it should be. Perfunctory, unfriendly service. Go spend your hard earnt money at a restaurant that will appreciate your business.

Perfect restaurants

Loved my experience, food was fresh very nice serves. One of the cook kindly helped me with my order of crab legs name Doris Henriquez very nice friendly and she was bilingual. I would go visit again

Extremely Disappointed - Overcharged, Poor Service, and No Accountability - Not Recommended for Group Reservations

By William C |

I rarely write reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to warrant one — especially given how much we paid. I made a group reservation for 22 guests, aligned with our hotel group stay at one of Caesar’s properties, expecting a seamless and hospitable experience. Instead, we were overcharged by 31% above the original buffet price, and yet the service and treatment we received were nowhere near justifiable. To make matters worse, our group was split across separate tables, with half of us seated in a section where blinding sunlight was shining directly into our faces. For a pre-arranged group reservation, this setup felt careless and disorganized. Buffet dishes were not cleared in a timely manner — a real issue given we were under a set time limit. Our waitress was nowhere to be found, and it reached a point where we had to bring the dirty plates over ourselves, only to be met by a rude manager who not only failed to apologize for the lack of service, but actually criticized us for taking the initiative. Overcharging a large group and then offering subpar service is one thing — but to treat paying customers with disrespect is unacceptable. Only after the confrontation did our waitress become slightly more attentive, but even then, she rushed us to leave five minutes before our allotted time was up, without acknowledging that their delay in service cut into our time in the first place. I followed up by emailing the group accounts rep about this experience, and to this day, I’ve received no response — reinforcing the lack of accountability from start to finish. This was my second time dining here, and the first with a large group. Unfortunately, it will also be our last. I strongly advise anyone considering this place for a group gathering to think twice. There are far better buffet experiences in Las Vegas — both in value and in the way they treat their guests. We expected professionalism, efficiency, and basic courtesy. What we got was the complete opposite.

Good Overall, But Better Buffets Elsewhere

By Mario O |

This place is pretty good! I liked that there are lots of prepared dishes that you can just grab instead of serve because they are in small plates already. We went during breakfast and there was a station where they made omelettes fresh to order! The quality of the food wasn't as good as the Wynn but it was still very delicious and enjoyable. The price is a bit high, but with the immense amount of options I think it is justified.

Chaos

Booked weeks ahead, arrived at 730pm and there was a huge que for those who had booked. Very warm in the restaurant, we left!

Best dinner buffet in Vegas

By august01 |

Best dinner buffet in Vegas now that the Wicked Spoon only now provides a breakfast and lunch buffet. So much choice it’s overwhelming, from nearly every cuisine imaginable. Great meats and seafood. A must if you like the buffet experience.

Disappointing

By Steven T |

We go to this buffet every year in May as a celebration for our beloved mother with friends. Tonight was the first time that the seafood was not fresh. They serve only small defrosted lobster tail that has no flavor. The clam was equally disappointing small and not fresh. The shrimp was of medium size and quality has gone down taste was from a defrosted frozen from Costco. The stone crab which I loved last year turned out to be defrosted one without flavor. The only consistent thing was the crab leg. The other dishes we tried were the sushi which was limited in selection and dry. The Chinese section looks horrible and food was not very good. The dessert was okay we tried the crepe Nutella with mixed berries and cream and they do have decent ice cream. The service was slow and the server was overwhelmed. The quality of the food and desserts has deteriorated and lack of fresh seafood was the most important part of our visit.

GREAT

By Bernadette Fernandes |

July 25, 2024 Our friend’s 50th birthday we are group of 11 I cannot get a reservation online so we tried walking in. around 3pm is not that busy, we got a table that time really quick. but when the dinner time starting kicking in the waiting outside was so long. so i recommend to get a reservation or walk-in early. There’s alot, means LOT of variety! our favorite part is the dessert buffet! our servers are all awesome! great service, very friendly and the restaurant is clean. they even sing a birthday song to our friend to make that day very very special you guys are the best! we’ll be back!!!

Not worth the price.

By FloridaDetroitGirl |

It’s over $60.00 per person for a Monday “Brunch” at 11;30 am. None of the food stood out as being above average. Nothing was bad but for the price I didn’t feel it was worth it. Maybe later on, after ‘Brunch”, the selections are more outstanding.

The Meaning of Reservations

By David R |

FYI. Had a Christmas Eve 4:30 reservation for two and arrived at 4:20. Waited a few minutes to check in and pay then was placed in a line apparently for reservations. Twenty minutes later, as groups of four and groups with higher Ceasars status are seated, I asked what was the point of making a reservation. The hostess told me that the reservation simply gets you in line for a table. We were finally seated just after 5:00. The variety and quality of the food was good and the table service was excellent but due to the wait we had to rush through the meal in order to make a show at a different hotel.

Choose some other buffet if you desperately want a buffet!

By Elisabetta W |

The buffet is overpriced! $100/person! Fresh and roasted vegetables missing! Fruit is mussing as well! Quality of food just above average.

The buffet goes on FOREVER! So many great choices.

By Wendy C |

I would have given a 5/5 if it weren’t for the price and the check in/waiting process. It doesn’t matter if you have a reservation, you still have to wait in line behind everyone else. If I remember correctly, I believe the price was around $85 per person. The food was fabulous and there was plenty to choose from with seafood, Asian, Mexican, Italian, dessert, smoothies, cheeses, meat carving, etc. I was amazed at the flavor of many of the items I ate. I think my favorite may have been the passion fruit smoothie and the ahi tuna. It was all great! I recommend and will be visiting again.

Seafood Buffet

By SharonB231 |

We went to this buffet in the evening. There are many food choices here. The buffet includes shrimp, crab legs, lobster claws, mussels and other shell fish. Food was very good. Buffet was busy which made it chaotic. Service was good refilling drinks. Price tag was very high.

Total disappointment!

By Thierry P |

Reservation for 9:30 pm. Arrived 15 minutes early. After having made the line (Reservation does not allow to avoid the line, contrary to what is mentioned on the website ), I go to the ticket office around 9:35 am. We are told that we stop serving food at 10:45. I’m fine, provided you go straight to the table. Another line later, at 9:50, not only has this line not advanced, we are told that there will be an additional 20 minutes of waiting. Having heard this, I decided to quit because only 30 minutes to try to enjoy this buffet, the Award of admission is just not worth it anymore... I got refunded but no compensation for all the time lost (getting to the restaurant plus queuing). And now I have to find another restaurant at 10:00 PM... Totally unacceptable!

Selections are great but the food quality was not good.

By clyoung97 |

$326 for 3 people including the gratuity. It’s a beautiful room and service was really good. We could not wait to try the seafood. They had lobster claws, 🦞 Jonah Crab Claws both either old, overcooked or both. The shrimp were a little fishy but the prawns were pretty good. 🍤 The snow crab claws were hit or miss. Most of the other food was really salty or tasteless. The dessert was the best. The made to order crepe with banana and Nutella and the en the Chai Pudding so good. I hope they improve the quality of their food someday however, for the price I cannot recommend this buffet.

Not worth going

By まゆすけ |

I have no idea what's so popular about this buffet. It's simply not tasty. Only the prime rib was tasty. I think $35 is enough. The crab and shrimp were not tasty at all, and the Chinese food is not worth $90 for a buffet. Panda Express might be better.

Just ok..

By Howard O |

The buffet was average at best. It is huge but the quality of the food is average or below average. They have bins of lobster claws, but they are dry and eat like rubber. The crab is the same. Much better choices in Las Vegas. It is going to cost 100.00 / person with tip so check your options.

Great Service if you are Diamond Level BUT a regular customer

By JMNana |

I made our reservation for 6 , 1 month in advance . One of party guests is disabled in a wheelchair. We arrived 15mins prior to our reservation time and was not seated to a table for 45 mins after our reservation time. If you have diamond status you don’t have to make a reservation and can have as many people in your party as you want with no time limit on eating. They must of seated 15 Diamond GROUPS with an average party size of 5 ahead of us. Who came after us. Regular customer’s have 90 minutes to eat once you are seated. We paid $100.00 per person. Would I return ABSOLUTELY NOT. The assortment of food is great but to be treated in the matter we were treated with a disabled veteran not returning. It’s about customer service. If you are a Diamond level Caesar’s customer, yes I would go. But as a regular person don’t recommend it.

Overpriced, average food.

By Gustavo S |

The buffet is very expensive for average food. The brisket was tough and not much flavor, the mussels had no flavor at all. This was our first and last time.

Sadly Disappointed

By Wnnbrb |

In my opinion this was a very expensive disappointment. From waiting in an airport security-type winding line, even with a reservation- to cold food that was supposed to be hot and vice versa. Some dishes like Kolbi ribs looked delicious in the photo ads but were gristly and drowning in sauce in real life. The food selections were extensive but not high quality.

Almost 10/10

By Omar |

The lobster looked like it had just been thawed, nothing good, Mexican food, pretty bad, but... the crab, meats and desserts very good!! It's worth going to meet him and then decide if you'd come back. I will come back!

Worth visiting

By Travel75_12 |

Huge variety of dishes. Taking a small amount of interest dishes helps tasting a wide variety. Service was a lot slower than in the past.

Not what it once was

By ugoEngland |

Have visited this buffet a number of times over the years and had been excited to return. There is a variety of different food types available but we felt that this had reduced from previous visits. The quality of the food was varied (ok to good) but this was disappointing as this had previously been very good. Service on this occasion was not great but I guess everyone can have a bad day. For the price of this buffet we were expecting more choice and better quality so I’m not sure what has been changed but I would not be in a hurry to return to this buffet on future visits. As people have previously mentioned the time limit does appear to be enforced quite strongly which could be difficult given how busy the buffet is, we left before our 90minutes but we did see a table close by reaching their time limit. If it’s your first visit to vegas this would have previously been a must do but now I would suggest weighing up which buffet offered the better value and experience for your group.

Save your money….

By JKBScotland |

We were really looking forward to this buffet but we were left feeling very disappointed, long lines to get in, place was very busy and noisy, pretty much all the food we tried Chinese, Mexican and carvery were all cold. The pizza was nice and hot. Desserts all looked amazing but they all lacked any taste. For £80 a head this was def not worth it and we would never return, as a few have said try the wynn buffet instead as it is always amazing.

Astounding variety of items

By WestCoastChick604 |

Best to make a reservation. There is a 90-minute limit. Scan all the stations first to scope out what you'd like to try. Huge variety: Asian, Mexican, meat, seafood, charcuterie - there is something for everyone. Save room for dessert which offers bite-size offerings of many choices including gelato. US$85 for dinner is steep but is worth it given the experience and plethora of items on offer.

Bacchanal Buffet: A Pricey Experience with Mixed Results

By jerry@worldtrip |

We recently dined at Bacchanal Buffet, drawn in by its reputation and recommendations from influencers like Mark Wiens. While the concept of a high-end buffet is intriguing, our experience didn’t quite justify the premium price tag—over $190 for two people. The selection is undeniably vast, featuring dishes that would typically cost $20-$30 each at individual restaurants. However, while the variety is impressive, the execution didn’t consistently meet the high-end expectations we had. Perhaps it was the timing of our visit, but some dishes lacked the elevated quality we anticipated. One undeniable highlight was the dessert section—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, making it the most memorable part of our meal. However, one aspect that detracted from the ambiance was the presence of a security guard patrolling with a stoic expression, which felt more suited to a casino floor than a dining experience. Overall, Bacchanal Buffet is worth trying once, especially if you’re someone who enjoys sampling a wide range of dishes and can truly indulge. However, if you’re expecting fine dining quality at this price point, you might leave feeling underwhelmed.

Pricey but very interesting

By Louie G |

This is the most expensive buffet I have been to, BUT the food itself was very varied and interesting. My friend ate nothing but expensive seafood, but I enjoyed taking a bit of everything and sampling even the bread. If you want to eat interesting things, check this place out

A must in Vegas

By Don K |

Amazing ! Easily the largest buffet I’ve ever been to in my life. The selection was absolutely stunning. The meats were amazing and of course, the desserts were delicious.

If you want an all you can eat quality food buffet, try this one!

By DIG324 |

WOW! Apparently newly renovated this large buffet seating is divided into sections giving a more private feel. Service was perfect, friendly and ever present. The food options are countless and I couldn't complain and often was taken in by the quality of the preparation and presentation given the buffet style and large number of customers it serves daily. You cannot go wrong.

Best Buffet in Sin City.

By Sir Ronald |

Three hours and what a great experience. Listed below is what we had from each station. IPO and I would share what we had selected from each.. I'm sure I missed some selections, but I tried some of everything, I think, from all stations between the two of us. What Can I say, The selections were terrific, just walking around the aroma was absolutely intoxicating, everything was fresh, well seasoned, well cooked depending on each dish, carvers well very pleasant and accommodating on how you wanted it carved. This truly was Epicurian extravaganza. If you travel to Las Vegas, at least once, you have to try the Bacchanal Buffet. American menu: monkey bread, chicken fried steak, smoked fish potato salad, Portuguese sausage, kielbasa, truffle-roasted chicken, smoked gouda cavatappi, Boursin mashed potatoes, potatoes florentine, roasted potatoes in cream sauce, Bloody Mary deviled eggs, Asian: Asian noodle salad, Filipino roasted pig with dipping sauce, pork lumpia, Filipino pork skewers, chicken tikka masala, poke bowls, crab rangoon, shiitake potstickers, ginger and garlic clams, kalbi short ribs, chicken with gochujang sauce. Latin Italian menu:  chicharron, strawberry kiwi virgin mimosa, huevos divorciados, Sonoran street dog, duck carnitas quesadillas, achiote toasted chicken, ceviche, campanchano, duck confit, seafood linguini, Seafood menu: crab Florentine benedict, shrimp cocktail, lobster Boursin, New England seafood boil, mussels, crab claws, clams, blue crab legs, frog legs, Cajun poached prawns, Lobster claws, 10 varieties of fresh oysters, Grilled giant scallops Carving station. Prime Rib, Tri-tip, smoked brisket, Rib eye rounds, Beef steamboat, honey-glazed ham, roasted turkey, Apple wood smoked Wagu beef, Porchetta, and truffle roasted chicken with Foie Gras Cognac sauce, Truffle Turkey gravy, wood-grilled lamb t-bones and roasted bone marrow. Dessert station menu: crepes, berry cheesecake, crème brulee, strawberry giggly, raspberry panna cotta.

Good buffet, for $100 us / person

By Elias sackman |

Good buffet, $100 us x person. Great variety, limited time to eat 90 minutes. Good Service, not excellent. You have to pre-book online, you do not line up. Some superheated dishes.

Nice Buffet

By Adelia Gutierrez |

I had a lovely time at this place for lunch with a friend, and I highly recommend making a reservation, even if there are open tables. The lunch line is much shorter than it is for dinner. The variety of food is fantastic, surpassing that of other buffets. You'll find so many different options for food and desserts. The food is quite tasty; some dishes are excellent, while others are just okay. And oh, you must try the desserts and ice cream - they are definitely worth it! I can't wait to come back here again.

Delicious food in a somewhat rushed atmosphere

By AndreaLeverkusen |

We were there twice in August 23, once for breakfast, once for dinner. The Bacchanal is spacious, partly tightly seated and loud, but offers very delicious food, partly freshly cut, partly already portioned, and a huge dessert buffet. Everything looks appealing and is more than sufficient, I think there is something for every taste. Our service was friendly and quick about the drinks or clearing the empty dishes. What I don’t like so much - but what is now common in Las Vegas - is the strict time limit of 90 minutes. There's not much with cozy. And unfortunately cold seafood was served, I personally prefer it warm.

Bacchanal Lost its Glory

By Adam B |

There was no long line to get in, that is a positive. Unfortunately, that was the only thing positive. The food: Mediocre at best, and I am being generous here. With such a high price you'd expect food that tastes like the old Bacchanal from back in the days. But what you end up getting is a bunch of options that are inedible. The only bright side was the bone marrow. Lamb, tri-tip, lamb, all were borderline inedible. Not to mention the absolutely disgusting deserts. Both myself and my wife left feeling robbed. Service sucked too. Waiter came once, we never got spoons, had to waive down a different waiter to get spoons, which we never got. Cost cutting, raising prices, and lower quality food is ruining this once magnificent buffet. We literally decided to go to Rampart Casino buffet instead

Not worth the Cost

By Cleo |

We attended this Buffet in the morning, they serve the same menu from opening to 3pm, at a cost of $80 pp. It is a large buffet, but not more spectacular than most. There were only a couple of salads, mostly cooked foods, lots of meats. Desserts are mostly versions of pudding. The Asian section was best, but we found most of the meats were dry and a lot of the foods would probably have been better served fresh not sitting out on a buffet line. The sea food was not great if your used to fresh caught varieties, we found the crab legs to be dry and under salted. The flavours were dull to our palate. We have been to better cruise ship buffets. Staff were very nice for the most part. For the cost I would not go back. It is exorbitantly priced. The money might be better spent on a nice entree based restaurant.

Food good, service bad

By Excursion07013416552 |

I felt like I was sitting in a huge canteen. Poor service at the table. Food good, partly excellent. Expulsion after exactly 1h and 50min. You don't have to have that.

Disappointed in the service.

By Go62628478710 |

The dresser and drinks are generally good, somewhat disorganized access because it is crowded and you get confused with the line. The waiter very politely asked us to hurry as it was a busy day and he had to occupy the table. My wife was halfway through dessert and yet she went for the manager to come and hurry us. We understand that you get 90 minutes to eat your food, but there are ways to say it. Very bad attitude from the waiter and the manager.

“Ugh $$$”

By Ben B |

Disappointed, Service mediocre at best food presentation terrible the lobster claws, mise well been eating cardboard .Look I know when you’re in these clubs on the strip you’re paying top dollar for everything I get that but you should have a selection and food presentation and quality of food at a higher level I would think we ate at several others and I’m not gonna mention the names that were sooooo much better. Save your money and skip this one I won’t go back

Lots of food and desserts

By Katrina H |

There’s a variety of food, but I think it’s overrated … long lines better to have a reservation pick an early time to get in quicker

Great buffet

By mcbec |

Excellent choice and quality of food. You're on the clock from when your group is seated so we felt the time pressure but not from the staff- we just wanted to make the most of the experience! Drinks are included- which we wished we'd known as we thought that was an extra charge. Items with a price in the drinks menu are an extra charge but fountain sodas are included. There are a range of drinks throughout the buffet- horchata, virgin mojito etc. Delicious and fun to try. Everything is labelled so well so people with allergies know exactly what they can and can't have at a glance. Perfect! There are a range of free from deserts which is both rare and a welcome treat for someone with allergies. There was a seafood station during our visit which was great too. My favourites were the extensive choice of dumplings and the Mexican station. We would have loved to have gone back but we were on a budget. Would go again!

Deliciously Unique

By Jimmy M |

This was a unique experience. I don’t think I’ve ever been that full of crab, lobster, snails, and prime rib. Everything was delicious. It is very pricey. I don’t know if I would do it again, but I’m glad to say I had the experience.

Nice dinner at Las Vegas

By RRS621 |

We had a very nice dinner buffet with friends. Our reservation was at 830pm and a table was readily available upon arrival. They have a seafood section and Asian dishes which I enjoyed the most. I am not a dessert person but I love their chewy cookies. I am sure it’s freshly baked. They have Filipino staff who were assisting us well. Hope we can go back again.

Garbage!!! Don't go

By DNOH |

By far the biggest scam ever!!! Over priced garbage. Most of the food is inedible. Total with tip for 4 people for dinner was $436. Such a rip off. Save your money. Nothing is worth it. The seafood is cheap and tastes like garbage. People who love this place love subway and other garbage food.

Say goodbye to decency in quality.

By NewYorkeralive |

Over 200 choices of dishes, over indulgent character of filling you up with deluxe cafeteria food. But the you are paying overindulgent price that leaves your wallet empty, not worth the money. Vegas has become a pit.

Good but overrated

By Betty |

There are so many food options from meat carving stations, seafood, ethnic cuisines and desserts. The stations are constantly cleaned. Some of the dishes were inconsistent and we were disappointed with the dried crab legs. The prime rib was a perfect medium rare and juicy. For the price they were charging, we were expecting more quality food. The food is good but not worth the price.

Good buffet worth trying

By MI |

Bacchanal Buffet was large with many options. While not as large as the Buffet at the Wynn it did seem to have more creative options. It has a fine selection of meats and seafood with the ubiquitous array of carved meat stations and crab legs that are found at most of the Las Vegas buffets. Aside from the usual, there was also a range of different dishes to choose from that were fun to try. Where the buffet was lacking for me was in its dessert station. Small with limited options and I didn’t think the desserts were very good compared to other buffets. While we were lucky enough to get seated right away, I do hear that the lines here are usually very long which can sometimes lead to some pretty extreme wait times. I would definitely recommend reservations and trying to go earlier rather than later. It was an overall enjoyable experience and I would go back again but I definitely don’t think it’s worth an hour of waiting in line for. Atmosphere: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Food: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Total: 4.25/5

Very nice layout !!

By Nothreeputts |

Hi gang, We’re here in Las Vegas, my son treated me to an overnight stay in LV to see the Eagles at The Sphere. After landing at LAS , we Uber’d to Caesar’s Bacchanal Buffet at 2 pm. Lucky us, it’s a Friday and Friday is the Seafood Buffet @ seafood buffet prices !! Normally ~$60/pp, now the seafood grabs you @ $82/pp. The food display is offered over 4 separate areas, each bursting with lots of choices. We jumped on the crab legs and soon had our fill and stuffed our remaining body cavities with selections from the other areas. We had soft drinks and unlimited refills kept coming. We left stuffed, ready for a nap. And nap we did. We wanted to eat enuff to hold us until the 8:30 show start. Consider having a meal here. Buffets aren’t the best choice for portion control, but the variety will satisfy everybody. Buffet courtesy: At the crab leg station, one guy in the front of the line took his sweet time picking thru the remaining scraps to fill his plate. Over a minute of him ignoring the line behind him. Some were telling the guy to “ hurry up”, some using more interesting verbiage. So he finally leaves, when I stepped up the cook comes out with 70 lbs of steamed, hot, fresh crab parts to refill. That’s justice !! I related the story to my son and 5 mins later I realize the guy is sitting 10 ft from me……I don’t make friends easy, do I ? Enjoy !!! Rich

Come hungry, it's worth it!

By Jose C |

Make sure to arrive hungry because there’s an incredible variety of food to choose from! With different stations offering options for every palate, you’ll find something you love. I only wished my stomach had been bigger to try even more. Yes, it’s on the pricey side, but the quality of the food makes it worth every penny. From Italian, Mexican, Japanese, and Chinese cuisines to seafood, steaks, and more—you name it, they’ve got it. If you’re a foodie, this is an absolute must-try!

Don't waste your money

By Magdy S |

Had reservation for 4:30 pm. After a very long line we got in at 6:35, more than 2 hours waiting in line (with the reservation). I had seafood, my wife had prime ribs and pasta - all food has no flavor. The lobster claws tasted funny like its bad or old, Shrimp and crab legs were no good either. No lobster tails. Large verity of food. What a waste -$185 out the window Don't waste your money - Bad experience

Wonderful Dinner

Amazing food, add it to your bucket list. Great service and food selection. Highly recommend to all looking for a buffet.

Quality control required

By Captain Hook |

Wish I had read the recent reviews before visiting. My birthday so was really looking forward to a good meal. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. Many of the cuisines are not catered for as advertised e.g. no Indian food, no chilli, no pasta ( although other Italian food is served), no European food. If you can eat seafood there is choice but I can’t, even the rice in the Chinese section contained crab so that was a no-no. There are a lot of dishes but clearly it’s quantity over quality - no thought has gone into what is available and there is no quality control so the food is mostly dry, greasy and lukewarm. As for the desserts….. Overpriced and not even close to being value for money, the ambience was that of a noisy canteen. It was a massive disappointment that ruined my birthday. My wife was ill afterwards and I was still hungry because there was so little I could eat. To be fair when we complained the manager did refund half the cost although what we paid was still probably overpriced and that doesn’t make up for the spoiled birthday though it wasn’t his fault. Our server Jim was excellent though.

Beware all who aren’t interested in crab legs and cold seafood

By Lilydale17 |

This has to be the most overrated restaurant I’ve been to in my whole life. Not even sure where to start. Luckily we had a booking as I’d have been livid if I’d queued for this- already can’t believe we shelled out over $330 AUD (including gratuity). If you’re not going to load up on crab legs and other cold seafood for your 90 minute stint this is definitely not the place for you and there’s no way you’ll get your $$$ worth. The rest of the food selection leaves a lot to be desired. No pasta at all- but a whole bowl of pasta sauce sans pasta- go figure. I found the hot food to be poorly cooked, cold in some cases, and often tasteless. The sweets included. I’ve never tasted a tiramisu without a hint of coffee. Tasted like a soggy Oreo topped with cream. The Wicked Spoon buffet leaves it for dead. Just a shame it’s only a brunch buffet now.

Overrated Buffet

We were told this was be best buffet in Las Vegas so we had to try it. Booked a reservation through open table and got seated right on our scheduled time. Our waitress was terrific. The spread is impressive. We sampled a little of everything and a lot of the seafood. Beef dishes were good. The seafood selection was good but lacking in quality. Taco station was good and supporting sides were good. Excellent mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, cream spinach, ceviche. The best part of the buffet was the desert selection. Try this buffet if you must but we did not think it was worth the money.

Go if you enjoy feeling ripped off!

By Corvette87 |

Considering the price one of the worst ever dining experiences. I tried last several years to get reservation hearing how good it was. ( I attend convention here at this hotel every year). So happy to get for lunch as we have gotten older this our main meal. WHAT A WASTE OF $!!! Employees all are wonderful. 94$ lunch worth 40-50$. They do not give little picks to help with Jonas or snow crab "picking". There is no lobster. No good broiled fish at all. Too many items were spicy hot but not labeled as such. Prime rib best if you eat meat. I do not; husband does. Whole shrimp you peel just awful! ?? Overcooked as meat not separate from shell and what did was mushy. Same for shrimp cocktail MUSHY. Had I been alone would have taken first plate of food to hostess and asked for money back. Husband would not. Dessrts are good. This is so much like everything else in vegas now. 14 $ HOTDOGS AND 8$ COKES. Anyone who knew old vegas when the pirate ships fought and Mirage had Siegfreid and Roy tigers...... Well I think I'm done here. :-( PS in prior life was in hospitality industry so I know more than most.

Amazing buffet

By Donna S |

The crab legs!! The tri tip! The best red velvet waffle with sweet cream and chocolate chips! Is it breakfast, or dessert?! A perfect meal after a late night at the Sphere!

Affordable, Tasty and Delicious food

By KKKenan |

Tasty food from meat to shell fish, amazing deserts and ice cream. We liked the meat selection, extremely tender melt in the mouth and very tasty. Crab legs were plentiful either cold or hot with huge selection of accompaniments and veg. Price was very reasonable. We are slow eater however the ninety minutes allowed was sufficient time to enjoy and taste all we wanted. We were pressured to leave despite running slightly over the time allowed.

One time and one time only.

By Bill T |

For the amount you pay, this place is just ok. I wasn't a seafood lover, so unfortunately i wasnt in the camp as the family in front of me, who just had piles and piles of crab legs on the table, so that was out. The selection of meats are impressive. I kept thinking the slices of prime rib, tri-tip sirloin and the slab bacon pretty much paid for my meal lol. They were all good, with the bacon with it's bacon flavor explosion and the tri-tip leading the way. Very dry bakery iterms, including the breads holding the sliders and hot-dogs, but nice asian section... Finally, the best thing at that place are the truffle-crusted deviled eggs, which were UNREAL.

Do not even try the crepe station!

By Jon B |

Came with a group of friends along with my family of four (2 adults 2 kids). Everything went well, food was great. Major complaint here is coming from the dessert station, more specifically for the crepe area. Stood there for more than 5 mins staring at the 3 staff members refill the items, not one of them approached me to even ask or at least let me know that they are busy. For the amount you pay this is unacceptable. I hope the leadership sees this and makes sure staffing is not an issue with this station going forward.

Moderate food for high $$$

By George F |

Went for dinner. Had to wait in a queue, in spite of having reservations. The food is reasonable, akin to other buffets, but nothing that warrants the high price tag. I wouldn't visit it again.

Overrated reputation

By Simon B |

Very overrated reputation, lots of choices but poor taste, price advertised at US$45 per person but increased to US$95 per person for Thankgiving Eve (Wednesday night). I didn’t think there was anything special about this award and it was as crowded as every day. Unless you are a very heavy eater, you will have a much better experience in a restaurant that is not a buffet.

Terrible !!

By Donald L |

Peoples..please stay away from this Baachanaal ! The manager should find another carreer. No heart at work and hiring non - professional cookers !! So sorry that too much wasted !!

Delicious, plan ahead!

By Jeaniy02 |

Make your reservation ahead of time so you don’t feel stressed by the crowds. A great buffet - it’s expensive but you get your money’s worth! My husband said the crab legs were excellent. I loved the appetizer selections

Is it Worth the Cost?

By Tim |

$111 for one person, FYI! I wanted to try this buffet. Heard it was one of the best in Vegas. We were staying at Caesars, so it was convenient. Had no idea what the price would be until I got to the register. While the price is insane, I've spent close to that for a really high end meal before, too. That said, I was blown away by the options and how much food was on the buffet. There is a 90 minute time limit (the time you sit down is noted on the receipt left on the table for your server) and I was able to get down 3 plates of food before my time was up (it goes FAST!). I didn't even get close to trying every section of the buffet. Would have liked to have tried some of the pizza and more of the Mexican section, but alas, I did what damage I could. lol For a buffet, the layout and ambiance is beautiful. I'm on the fence whether it was worth it or not. Definitely wouldn't recommend unless you're just really into buffets (I've heard Wynn is better for less money). Food was excellent, so that's what the 3 rating is for, otherwise it would be a one.

Very poor quality/price

By Luca P |

Quality / very poor price. Too, too expensive for what you eat. We were in six friends and spent $700.00 on a set menu (including soft drinks, extra alcohol and very expensive). The figure is justified by the fact that you are in Vegas in the Ceasars Palace, but for the food absolutely not. I highly recommend trying something else.

Lousy Service(not worth what they charge)

By oscargcervantes |

Lousy service, the waiters (eye is buffet) all they have to do is bring the drinks and pick up the dishes, they give you only 90 minutes (enough time) but if it takes 10 minutes (watch in hand) to bring you a simple soda, 13 minutes to bring you the coffee and do not pick up the dishes, because something not Czech, for 100 usd per person there are much better options

Bad time for everyone

By Explorer238 |

Total Zoo. Went with a reservation. Waited in line that did not move for about 90 minutes. All the staff told me this was a new process. Abandoned as we had tickets to a show. Bad time

Not recommended, save your money

By Scott |

Definitely not worth the price (over $100 per person). Went to the buffet with my wife and 16 year old son and none of us were pleased with the food or service. We made a reservation but still had to wait in line for 45 minutes. The staff at the front desk were rude and unhelpful. As for the food, everything was either too spicy or very bland and the hot food was all lukewarm. None of us finished a full plate, even the desserts were mediocre at best. I personally left hungry and very disappointed. Would much rather have spent the $350 on made to order food at an actual restaurant.

A Global Feast in Vegas — Arrive Hungry!

By The Parkashes |

We visited The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace and it’s easily one of the most impressive buffet experiences we’ve ever had. It’s also one of the more expensive options in Las Vegas, but for the sheer variety and quality on offer, it’s well worth it. The food selection is vast and thoughtfully curated, with cuisines from all over the world; from fresh sushi and Mexican street food to traditional American roasts, Asian dim sum, seafood towers, and Italian classics. You’re not just getting quantity here. The quality really stands out, and every station feels like it could stand alone as its own restaurant. If you’re planning to go, definitely arrive on an empty stomach. There’s so much to try, and it’s very easy to get carried away. We left absolutely full and didn’t feel like eating for hours afterwards. Most food and drinks are included, but specialty drinks (like cocktails or premium wines) do come with a surcharge. That said, even without those extras, there’s more than enough included to make it feel indulgent and luxurious. The space itself is large and well laid out, and the service was efficient despite the crowds. Plates were cleared quickly, and staff were happy to guide us to the best stations if we were looking for something specific. Whether you’re a foodie or just want to experience one of Vegas’s iconic dining options, The Bacchanal Buffet is a must-visit. We’d absolutely go back. Next time, we’ll skip breakfast first!

Expectations maybe too high?

By Euerw |

This was a Bucket list thing, the buffet at Caesars Palace. Then you have been watching it on YouTube as preparation and were really looking forward to this. Booking your tickets online is easy on their site, we were on time and maybe had to wait 15-20 min and off we went, you get assigned your table and once you have it you have 90 min to eat your crazy 😝 I first went to look around and thought, okay and where else?, on YouTube it all seemed much bigger because. But well yes there is a lot of things that like all meat and fish and tight unfortunately little lobster, and yes also good but honesty is that we didn't think it was so special, yes everything is there and you can stuff yourself completely but I just tasted and ate a lot of things and then I'm done, mind you I am, someone else might go completely wild. Maybe too much expectation by YouTube, the buffet at the Wynne we did not do just to be sure.

An Unfortunate Let Down

By Jonathan B |

I am a fan of the Bacchanal. I go eat each time I'm in Vegas. But this time, it was lacking. I was in a powerlifting meet all day, so we got there at 7:50 for our 8:00 reservation. The 45-minute wait to be seated was more than usual, but OK. Service was extremely spotty. My wife dropped her fork, and after waiting for five minutes to see a server, I had to walk around until I found one. Immediately upon seating, food was running out. I have a few favorites, and they were already gone. I asked if more was coming but was told no. There were also some empty spots along the line, and the placards were removed, so I didn't even know what had been offered there. And I guess they changed the crab and now have only one tray, so the line was really long and slow, backing up to the carving station. Speaking of the carving station, while the tritip and pork belly were good, the prime rib was woefully overdone and the brisket was dry. I didn't finish either. It wasn't just the main and side courses. Five or six ice creams were finished. All of this was while all the tables were still filled with diners. I paid $350 for two adults and two six-year-olds (the kids ate some Asian noodles, a couple pieces of pizza, and ice cream), and I expect a full buffet table. On the plus side, the ceviche, pork belly, crab claws, triptip, crème brûlée, and porchetta were delicious. And the crêpe chef was a joy. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge let down. My wife doesn't get to Vegas as often as I do, and she'd been looking forward to eating at the Bacchanal since April, so this was a pretty big disappointment.

The worst treatment on a 100% Disabled Veteran

By ramil c |

Absolutely the worst service. I can understand we were on the waitlist and when I asked if and why we were only moved up 3 spots from 146 to 143 on the list after 5 hours of waiting the lady at the check in told the manager she was going to move us into the holding area but he manager said no and did not care if I was a 100% disabled veteran. Mind you it is Memorial day weekend and this is no way to tell me no. I will ensure to spread the word to NEVER go to this establishment ever again. I hope Ceaser’s Palace upper management would fire this guy for telling me he didn’t care about veterans especially disabled ones. NEGATIVE STARS AND DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Table of 7, you are last priority bc of unorganized workers.

By Nancy P |

Wrote this review on yelp already, but I realized Trip advisor is much more important. WARNING: YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT A VERY VERY LONG TIME GETTING SEATED IF YOU HAVE A PARTY OF 7!!! We came here yesterday with 7 people with no reservations. We made one and they told us to come back at 6PM. 6PM rolls around and we check in. We were then proceeded to another line, which is fine. The workers kept us asking us how many people we had and when we said "7" they would pass over us and take another party with a number they liked. Groups of 8 seems to be the magic number (but they seated plenty of other parties, they just didn't like groups of 7 for some reason. During the first 45 minutes we waited they seated 2 groups of 8 who were waiting behind us. and they seated PLENTY of other parties behind and in front of us. Then we noticed someone from another group of 7 spoke up and started complaining. They asked why the workers were seating people behind them. And that's when they actually decided to seat them. Then my sister decided that the next time they came by she would complain. ONCE again for the 4th time, they asked how many people we had. We said 7 and then I yelled "WHATS THE POINT?? You guys don't seat parties of 7!!!!" Then they got scared and decided to seat us. I then started yelling to everyone in line to warn them that they do not like to seat people of 7. It’s unfair that just because they wanted to maximize the space to make money, they made groups of 7 wait an hour after their reservation. I understand that a group of 5 can’t be seated at a 8 persons table but honestly 7 isn’t that different from 8. It’s annoying that they didn’t respect our time. We only had one night in Vegas and they totally wasted our time. By the time we were done my grandfather with arthritis was exhausted and couldn’t walk around anymore, we had to stand an extra 30 minutes bc they wanted to seat tables perfectly. Which was the most upsetting for us. It’s sad bc this is likely the last time he will ever come to Vegas

A filling meal at the Bacchanal

By Sobia A |

We decided to check out the bacchanal buffet at the Caesar’s Palace Hotel in Las Vegas because it’s just something you do when you’re in Vegas. :) The booking process was fairly easy. We were led to our table after a short wait after checking in. You were supposed to pay for your mail and show the server your receipt, who then leads you to your table. Our waitress quickly took our drinks order and show us the layout of the buffet. We started out at the Chinese food section, which was rimming with hot and cold options. The meat dishes were perfectly prepared. The short ribs were so yummy. So were the glazed fried shrimp. There were a variety of fried Asian appetizers with accompanying sauces. A variety of Italian food options looked pretty tempting too. You can get Mexican dishes with classic accompaniments. A grilled/roasted station was also quite busy serving sliced meats with a variety of gravies and sauces to go with each option. The most popular station was the seafood station. It was brimming with crab legs, muscles, shrimp, fresh fish and cold salads. The dessert station was a special treat at the very end of the meal. The options were endless and show beautiful that you would want to try each and every one of them. The bread pudding was the bomb. The presentation was absolutely gorgeous and the flavors were outstanding. The staff helping out with the food was cordial and efficient with a pleasant smile on the faces. A waitress was great. She kept bringing us refills and also got me a nice hot cup of tea at the end of the meal to finish off our fantastic experience at the Bacchanal. Please come with a big appetite and also be mindful of the 90 minute time allotted for each sitting.

Good Variety and Service at Bacchanal Buffet

By Ryo Z |

Had family visiting Vegas, and since they were staying at Caesars Palace, Bacchanal Buffet was the easy (and smart) choice--lots of variety under one roof, and no need to trek through the desert heat. Bonus: my nephew was celebrating his 21st birthday, so we wanted it to feel extra special. We had a 4:30pm reservation, and timing worked out perfectly. The line moved quickly, and soon enough we were seated. The buffet was lively but not overwhelming, which meant little to no wait at each station. The food? Consistently solid. The Asian section is always my go-to (the char siu and bao buns are fantastic), and the carving station is another highlight--do yourself a favor and grab the bone marrow. For seafood lovers, the spread is huge, especially the crab legs. And then there's the dessert island: endless choices, with crème brûlée being a must-try. The best moment of the night was when our waitress, Sue, surprised my nephew with a plate of desserts topped with birthday candles. The staff gathered to sing "Happy Birthday," and it really made the night one to remember. I hope when you visit that you have a great experience too!

Great Buffet!

By ASGLondon |

I didn't have a reservation when I arrived, but they host was kind enough to seat me anyway. They were very busy when I arrived at about 4:00pm on a Monday, so I would recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment. The buffet has a variety of foods. I tried a bit of each and everything tasted great! Everything was fresh and well prepared. I hit the seafood pretty hard. My server was very slow to bring me drinks, but he was very busy and seemed a bit flustered. One guest was using his bare hands to pick items off the buffet and when a staff member noticed it, they immediately confronted the guest over his conduct. There was a wonderful variety of deserts. The buffet is pricey, but is worth every penny in my opinion.

Cold food

By dannycrafts |

To be honest I had a lot of hope for this buffet, after waiting nearly a year to go we were really looking forward to it. Arrived 6.45 for 7 o’clock reservation and we were sat down very quickly, which was a bonus. The food itself looked amazing but when it came to eating it 90% of what we had was cold, the food had clearly been out too long and most of it was dry and soggy. As it was a Sunday you would think they would turn over food a lot more but clearly not, for $85 each it is a massive amount to ask for when your food isn’t up to standard. If I was to come back to Las Vegas it’s the Wynn hotel all the way! We went last year and it’s was spot on. Sorry Caesar’s I don’t usually complain but the price and lack of care for food has forced my hand.

Wife’s birthday celebration

By robertgH7016CZ |

Went to buffet for wife’s birthday, the Food was delicious and the amount of variety was outstanding would recommend to someone who’s looking for variety. The only critique I would say is the lobster claws be warm, cause cold were a little dry

Overpriced for disorganization

By Culture65457685329 |

This restaurant is so disorganized. For the price they charge service should be a lot better. We had reservations, but they were letting people in without reservations ahead of us. They were disorganized as to where we were supposed to sit the waitress was totally useless. She would sit and talk to all of her friends and coworkers, ignoring all the Customers. Quality of food was just average large selection, but didn’t find anything worth the value that they charge.

I don't understand the hype. Very underwhelming.

By WIpaintchip |

For the price you would expect filet mignon but you get brisket. Which was the best beef on the carving board. We had the steamship which I don't know what that really is but was not good prime rib was below average... Great variety ethnically But unless you are okay with cold seafood (lobster tail, some sort of crab claws) and sushi I would definitely eat someplace else. There was an incredibly long line for crab legs that were freshly steamed. The desserts are pretty amazing. Was able to enjoy little bites of everything. Tried new things and found out that I do not like those new things. Like cold lobster tails and crab claws. $89 a person for 2:30pm weekday reservation (1.5 hour sitting)...

Hit and miss

By Heather |

I went for the Crab buffet and arrived at 1pm on a Thursday. It was packed, and the reservation time seemed useless as I stood in line forever even though there were several empty tables. Although I went for the crab legs, I did try other items, and the food was hit and miss. The bagels were hard as a rock but the desserts were delicious. The juices and smoothies were good but the pork buns had barely any filling. A note about the crab legs: they pre-crack the crab legs so that you can snap them open to get to the meat, but it's still hard to get the meat, and they don't provide any tools for this. Something to keep in mind.

Price and quality do not match

By royufu |

It's a popular buffet in Caesars Palace, but if you go for two on a Sunday, you'll need to spend about $200, and to be honest, I don't think the food is worth it. There's a wide variety of international dishes, but the quality of the ingredients isn't great, and I personally feel that the buffet at Bellagio is far more satisfying.

Poor service

By Jamie S |

Worst service ever we made reservations and then still had to stand in line for an hour. Haven’t got seated yet hope it’s worth it.

Too expensive

By Jennifer C |

The advertisement for this buffet is misleading. There are not 3 types of crab. They are supposed to give you 90 minutes and if you go at the end of the night they will stare at you to make you feel uncomfortable. The wait staff looks unhappy and they are not friendly.

Our group enjoyed the experience

By KBD87 |

Our group made a reservation here and had the buffet for dinner. It was our first time here and first time at a Las Vegas buffet. We were led strait to our table at the reservation time and were told we had the table for an hour and a half so we were on the clock. The buffet is massive with every genre of food one could imagine. Everyone in our group enjoyed the experience and being able to try a variety of meats and dishes. There wasn’t anything I had that I thought was the best I’d ever eaten but everything was well prepared and tasty. It is expensive and I’m not sure anyone can eat an amount to equal what you pay but it is certainly an experience and good overall

No words

By Sam P |

Arrived for 1230pm booking no one in sight… shockingly awful that it doesnt open until 230pm even though booking confirmed via text day before. Very disappointing… brunch finished a month ago??? Yet can still book… sort it out!!

Just don’t waste your money

By Terry C |

There is nothing at this buffet that justifies the price you pay! When the best thing that you eat is the bread, it’s not saying much! At first, I liked the peel and eat shrimp until I saw it wasn’t cleaned. Yuck! The brisket was so dry you couldn’t chew it. The desserts were bland. The decor and the sticky top ugly tables were also disappointing as we were expecting higher end decor. Overall its was a big waste of money which would be better spent elsewhere.

The typical tourist trap with lots of food

By Lukini |

I have mixed feelings with this restaurant. At the end it is a tourist trap for the quantity food lovers that sacrifice quality.

Unpleasant, noisy, back in school canteen

By Lisa |

No stars for this awful experience over priced, very noisy canteen style seating, no chicken, curry, pork, lamb..plenty Asian food which we do not enjoy. Spoiled birthday celebrations. Pics on display are not of food on offer. We would not return if free to eat..unpleasant experience in school canteen set up…we traveled from U.K. total disappointment and typical of cesars resorts..get em in, rip em off get them out !

Definitely Worth It

By Willie L |

The food was excellent. I was thrown off at first with the $85 price, but it was worth every penny. Were can you go and eat 2 or 3 types of crab clusters, sushi, Chineese, Korean, Thai, Mexican and a few other types of food all in one setting? The food was awesome and d the service was good. Definitely worth it.

Make sure you book. Skip the line!

By Love to enjoy ‘go / don't go’ ? |

Make a reservation! We had a reservation, missed the queue which will get up to 90 mins. The food, well.. I’m not sure I did it right. It’s 85USD, not cheap. I’m not sure I’d go again as there are alternatives. The selection is indeed immense. Choose wisely. There is lobster but only claws. They cut them which is a big help. You have 90 mins which can go real quick. Our reservation was 16:30, go later and you’ll queue inside for each station. Do your thing, plan and make the most of it. Have to say all deserts are poor.. hopefully you won’t even get that far.

still a good buffet but pricey as well

By isabel p |

on my past visits I would have give an 4 or 5 rating - why now a 3 rating - because of cleaniness. It is for the price you pay not clean enough and also the food is not these pretty presented anymore - some stuff food stays on for ages and is not changed.

Extremely disappointing and inconsiderate experience

By Tony C |

We made a reservation for 6:45 PM because my wife is 8 months pregnant and cannot stand for long periods. We arrived early at 5:00 PM and were told to come back at 6:00 PM. Only then did we find out that a “reservation” simply means you still have to wait in a reservation line, it does not guarantee being seated at your reserved time. As a result, we ended up standing and waiting for over 1.5 hours after 6:00 PM. If they had been honest with us at 5:00 PM and explained that reservations still require waiting in line, we could have lined up earlier or simply canceled, given my wife’s condition. Instead, they told us to leave and come back, which made our total wait time more than 2.5 hours. I clearly mentioned that my wife is pregnant, yet no accommodation, concern, or helpful guidance was offered. The staff showed a complete lack of empathy and responsibility, it honestly felt like they simply did not care at all about our situation. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. To make matters worse, the food was overpriced and absolutely not worth the excessive wait. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially families or pregnant guests, and we will never go back.

Excellent value for money

By LilloKing |

Saturday brunch at Caesar. Buffets in Vegas are an institution, this is the most famous and rich. With 85 bucks they give you soft drinks and all the food you can eat for 90 minutes. There are kitchen counters: - American, with tons of meat; - fish, with particular attention to shellfish, - Mexican; - Italian; - Asian, in addition to the final island of sweets and ice cream. All good quality, I tasted all the cuisines, except the Italian. Don't eat too much!!! :)

Prime Rib is for the dogs!!!!

By Sterling S |

The prime rib was horrible! It was so dry and hard to cut. For the price they charge, one of the main attractions of the buffet should be amazing!!! Such a disappointment

Absolutely worth trying.

By DoneVT7 |

Huge buffet inside Caesars Palace, infinite assortment of dishes from all the cuisines of the world. Good quality and worth mentioning is the large quantity of oysters and shellfish. Really complete and satisfying with non-alcoholic drinks included. At around 100 usd each, and comparing what you spend in Las Vegas in a normal restaurant, it is almost affordable. Absolutely worth trying.

Cold food

By Dave K |

This was really not worth the money. Food was good but most of what both of us had was cold. They need better warming devices. Seafood was good except the mussels were the worst I have ever had. Prime rib. Good but cold. Taco bar area...all of it was cold so only had one bite. Duck was warm but hard to chew. Very tough. Frog legs were really good. All chicken was warm and good. All desserts were awesome. You are asked tip when you check in. Would not do that again. Didn't even get my water refilled once. Glad we tried this place but would never go back for the price we paid.

meh

By Veronica L |

the only way for you to be able to get in line and eat here is scan a QR code to make a reservation. Well it would be nice if the QR code worked at least!!! The lady at the lines wouldn't let us in without a reservation so I had to find a QR code that wasn't extremely pixelated and low and behold the link isn't even working!! Had to walk back to the line lady and show her my phone lol then she finally let us in line after showing her the link wasn't even working. waited almost and hour in a tiny line (this was on 3/14/2024) finally got seated and the food selection was bleh and all the desserts weren't good except the creme brulee. almost cost me and my hubby $200 not worth it anymore like it used to be. but we gave our server a nice tip because she was awesome. So if you like the crab legs this place is for you but if you're not a seafood person like us you probably will be disappointed.

Great buffet

By diamondj |

Got there before it opened for Dinner. Many people in line, most made reservations. We were walk ins, waited about 20 minutes before getting in. We were not in a rush and knew we would have to wait. Excellent buffet, so many selections. Staff was excellent, food was delicious, deserts excellent . Will go back, the experience was worth it.

Lukewarm food

By UkManchestergirl |

Was recommended this buffet. Some food lukewarm and lots of people pushing in line. Lots of different stations and took some time to find them all. Drinks server very attentive and best part of the buffet.

Bad Reservation System Great Food

By Christopher C |

Food quality was great staff wasn't that friendly. The buffet is consistently great. One of the few bright spots left in Las Nickle & Dime. The food quality is great, our server was good and attentive. The chefs staff not very friendly. This is still a bright spot in the Las Nickle & Dime food scene. The seafood quality was great and prepared very well. Everything was fresh. The only real bad thing is that the reservation system doesn't work very well and for the last year when you call the phone number for the registration system it just hangs up on you. Told the staff on several different occasions and they still haven't fixed it. Reservation are a necessity. While expensive it is worth the money. Las Nickle and Dime as I have renamed it better wake up. Despite what the big hotel company's are saying people really aren't coming. The reports you are reading are 100% True 55 dollars a day for parking and a resort fee that gives you nothing and 26.00 drinks. Have destroyed Las Vegas. I come for work and it just cost to much these days there is very little value left.

Extremely poor service

By Christian G |

For the price they are charging for the buffet, the service is absolutely terrible. We had a reservation but apparently still had to wait in line since more important guests arrived without reservations. Once we got seated, the whole experience felt disorganized.. we were practically going around the restaurant looking for a free table. Our server came to our table and just speed-talked out all the possible sodas we could order - we could barely understood what was being said. At one point my wife asked if it was possible to order a Dr. Pepper and our server just said “No, Pepsi” and walked away without allowing us to order anything at all. The service deserves a ranking of 1 but the food did taste good and they had a large selection..

Terrible, shameful and humiliating

By Adventure50553024955 |

Terrible, shameful, and humiliating experience experienced , we were accused of stealing food and putting it in the backpack by the attendant Sandra, manager Patricia , attendant Irma I asked them to search my backpack, but they refused saying it had been a mistake, that I could turn my back and leave, according to the manager Ed,so I opened my backpack and threw everything on the floor, it was a shame, embarrassing and humiliating, all my things on the floor the other manager Patricia also tried to scare us saying that my husband reacted badly to the accusation and hit the table. They only stopped frightening us when I demanded the presence of a police officer so that a police report could be made, then they called the hotel security guard to whom he said that he would not give the report in any way, so I refused to speak to that person, because in nothing protected us but was in favor of the restaurant. I demanded the buffet money back, which was still charged, and has not yet been reimbursed.

Dinner Experience

Bacchanal Buffet is an unforgettable food experience in Las Vegas! The restaurant environment is spacious and bright, the staff is kind and courteous, and the selection is amazing. Nine culinary regions spanning national cuisine, from the current cherry steak, garlic salad to fresh seafood and delicate desserts, each showed a high level. Specifically recommend warm-cooked steak and ready-made Portuguese egg towers, so that you can taste endlessly. Self-service Poke Bowl and its own brand ice cream are a highlight! The overall meal quality and cooking speed were excellent, making it one of the most satisfying buffets I’ve had in Vegas. It is recommended to book an appointment in advance and also reserve enough time to enjoy slowly. Whether it’s your first visit or your return visit, Bacchanal is worth five stars for sure!

Under whelming

While planning my trip to Las Vegas, my sister showed me a YouTube video about a blogger reviewing the Buchannal Buffet in Caesars Palace. Everything he ate looked delicious and he raved about the place. So I told my sister I would treat her to an early birthday dinner and we went the the Bucchanal Buffet in the iconic Caesars Palace. What we paid for two, appx $94 after tax each, we were seated promptly (made reservations using Open Table) and our server (cannot recall his name) was very nice and attentive. The food on the other hand was very under whelming for both of us. I tried several dishes and some lacked seasoning (beef w/ string beans: kacked flavor), the bang bang shrimp & egg roll (Asian section) were very good but the cooking on the seafood (seafood section) was not consistent: some crab legs were old and dried out, shrimp w/ heads several were very soft either old or under cooked (did not want to get sick so spit it out immediately); the seafood boil corn on cob was delicious. The carving station the beef was too rare for me so passed and the garlic knots hard and dry. My sister had salmon (among other things) not a fan and got some dessert, looked pretty but tasted horribly. I was truly hoping for excellent food but that did not happen. Honestly, do not waste your hard earned money. It was just very disappointing. The workers (cooks) were working feverishly but their hard work did not translate into tasty food. It was however an experience, albeit disappointing.

Great selection, enjoyable.

I reserved online and also received email and text reminder. We arrived early and they were able to accomodate us. Very nice selection. Good service. We enjoyed this meal very much.

Expensive!

Those willing to pay so much money may rate it as perhaps better. We were shocked by the price of $100 PER PERSON. 200$ for a buffet lunch is already neat as a couple. Due to a voucher we only paid one person, otherwise we would have regretted it. Yes, the choice is very wide and there is really something for everyone. But you can't eat that much. At least not us, hence my rating. Those who can eat more than two plates and access seafood, etc., can use the buffet. But remember, a time limit of 2hours is set! Soft drinks are included. Conclusion: we would not go there at that price anymore.

Mediocre and overpriced

Hey, I’m from San Francisco and used to hit Vegas every month for parties, staying at spots like Wynn, Venetian, Aria, Cosmo, MGM, or Caesar’s from 2008 to 2020. Haven’t been back much since COVID ’cause of work and kids. Just went this week and was shocked at how things have gone downhill and prices have skyrocketed. I remember Bacchanal Buffet’s grand opening—unlimited Alaskan crab legs and ginseng chicken soup for hangovers from Pure ( Omnia) or XS. Now, no Alaskan crab, just a guy rationing out a few snow crab legs (the “top” option now). Price jumped from $56 to $86, and it opens late at 2:30 PM! Good tasting sushi and desserts though. Though not a fan, I would say if you're visiting from across the world, why not. Inflation, climate, tariffs—guess that’s driving it, but Vegas doesn’t feel vibrant anymore. No real urge to go back.
