80's throwback for the imagination.

By Richard B |

Excellent restaurant, friendly staff, great amounts of 80's memorabilia. Loved the atmosphere and the music. Food tasted great, slight expensive but you are paying for the experience.

80s fun!

By ninja145 |

Food was good...not out of this world, but good. My wife had a milkshake that was very good, however. The atmosphere is really cool and nostalgic. The service was very good as well. It is definitely worth a visit. It looks like it it would be a cool little joint to hit up in the evening for a beer and a burger.

Back to the 80s

By TerrasTravels |

I’ve been wanting to go here for a while! I finally got to go and it did not disappoint. I love the 80s so this is right up my alley! As soon as we walked in George McFly greeted us (as well as the Ghostbusters car outside).! You order at the front and pick a table and then they bring the food to you. I ordered the Monte Crisco sandwich and my friend ordered the grilled cheese. Both were a delight! We of course walked around to see all of the 80s memorabilia in both of the rooms. It was so cool. I feel like I stepped into “Saved by the Bell’s” diner hangout! Super fun place! Take your time walking around and looking at everything. VHS Tape decorations and all!

Let's Do The Time Warp Again!

They always say when you're in Vegas you should try something you wouldn't normally do. Well my friends and I figured we are all Back to the Future fans, we'd hit up this joint called Back to the 80s and well we were not disappointed. This was a really fun treat, just looking at all the cool decor was a true delight! There's hidden memorabilia all about. Marty McFly was there in full gear and even had the iconic back neck rub when nervous. It was wonderful. You can even purchase iconic Back to the Future sunglasses lol. The food was surprisingly good, far better than Smashburger! The Chicken Strips & Waffles were quite tasty, albeit a bit crispy good nonetheless. There was a Michael Jackson impersonator doing karaoke and his dance moves were bar none! Whether you're a fan of Back to the Future, Ghost Busters, Aliens, or just a fan of the 80's or grew up in the 80's this is a must see if in the Vegas area. The area is small but packs a big punch and its just a cool spot for nostalgia and photo ops if nothing else. My friends and I had a blast!

Great memories for GenXers

By tmoore48 |

If you’re part of GenX, you’ll enjoy what amounts to a visual assault of 80s memorabilia everywhere you look. Basically a themed diner, there is 80s stuff everywhere, much of it for sale. The food was good and reasonably priced, and we were served by George McFly himself! Of particular note, the milkshakes were delicious - I highly recommend the Madonna, chocolate chip ice cream with caramel, cinnamon, whipped cream, and cinnamon sugar Bugles.

If you love Vegas, and love the 80s… then you’ll love this!

Wow, what a brilliant place! I absolutely love the 80s so this was an absolute treat. The nostalgia around the place was simply awesome. We were even greeted by “George McFly.” The food was excellent, and not your usual Las Vegas prices, so it was brilliant value for money. We were served quickly and made to feel very welcome. The downside… it’s not located on the strip. In fact, it’s quite a way off. We visited on the day we’d hired a car when on holiday in Vegas, so it was easy enough to get there by car. It also meant that the place was really quiet. There was only us and one other couple in there. Which was a real shame as it’s a wonderful place. I mean, come on, there’s Ecto-1 outside, and that’s defo worth a visit in itself!

Cool decor, poor service

By Heather |

You can tell a lot of work was but into this place, and the decor is awesome. I had the Doc Brown burger and the Tetris tots. The tots were good, but the burger was way too big. Neither me nor my friend could eat half of it. When we visited they were very short-staffed, and it took nearly 30 minutes to place an order.

Cool 80s themed dinner to hang out at.

By SitesAndFood |

This is a cool place to hang out. The staff here was welcoming and friendly. Video games, beer, soda, food, and thrifty's ice cream! Those familiar with the 80s should stop by and check it out and support this business.

A great nostalgic diner with a great atmosphere at a great price.

This was a must see when visiting Las Vegas. It is in town and only a few minutes drive from the strip. A very inexpensive meal with a lot of nostalgic memorabilia to look at, which will bring you back to the 80's. This is a very basic diner, so don't expect any bells and whistles with a waiter and cloth linen. The names of the dishes are great. Sit back, listen to some great 80's music and sight see while waiting for your food. I spotted things I had forgot about which makes the experience even greater. It will definitely be the cheapest meal when eating if you are a tourist visiting Las Vegas.

WOWZERS!!!

AMAZING!! From the moment you walk in you walk back in time!!! From the pictures on the walls to the life like statues by the bar, this place is amazing! We will be back.

Excellent

Great Food, great service by George McFly. A must for any 80s music lover and Back To The Future fan

Totally 80’s

By Medic |

There is nothing like walking back in to the 80’s. George McFly at the register to take your order. Food was awesome. What is more 80’s than Pepsi and Orange Crush on the fountain. Food came out fast and even got a George McFly dance about the food we ordered. This needs to be on everyones Las Vegas stop.

Comfort food with a nostalgic Gen X feel.

Neat set up with lots of 80s memorabilia. Love the scratch & Sniff stickers on the bathroom door! Not a 5 star restaurant for food, it’s your basic stuff you can make on your stove- like we did in the 80s as latchkey kids. Off the Strip be a couple miles.

Felt threatened…

By Mark S |

This is a local diner for local people. As tourists we were made to feel very unwelcome by the regulars. I have been to vegas a few times and this is the only time I have been made to feel threatened. We were greeted at the door by a customer claiming he was a “friend of the owner” and that “our type weren’t welcome” and we would “be better leaving”…. So we did… If you want to attract tourists (and maybe you don’t) then I would suggest keeping the owners “friends” away from any tourists…

Fun, different, would recommend

My family went to back to the 80’s cafe and we loved it! The food was delicious and freshly prepared, the owner was warm and welcoming and made a great George McFly from back to the future! I loved that there was a ACTUAL ghostbusters car on the outside! I would definitely recommend and remember this welcoming and fun cafe.

Very neat nostalgic step back in time, good food and service. Laid back environment.

We were looking for reasonable low key place to eat and found this. It doesn’t look like much from the outside which is very deceiving. Once inside there is two sides. One side has low tables and is like a small diner, the other side is a bar area with high top tables and karaoke on Friday and Saturday after 9 pm. We sat in the bar area. The decor is amazing! We didn’t realize how much we miss the 80’s until we came inside and started looking around. It was self seating and you go up to the counter to order and they bring the food to your table. Food was really good, it’s simple food’s nothing fancy. Your normal diner/cafe food. Service was good and super friendly. We’d definitely go back.
