Will be the first time with the family they were not severely crowded we found parking pretty quickly we were seated right away and I must say that we were well taken care of by our server Joseph who did a very good job. El menu is too big too long and too many different plates I ended up with a delicious Mahi and shrimp plate which was cooked to perfection our other three plates were also excellent and cooked to Perfection so I have nothing but good praise for Bahama Breeze it served us well with excellent food tonight the music and the Ambiance were excellent and I can recommend this place based on my experience I think sitting outside though it's a lot better than inside.

Went their for lunch ordered Cuban sandwich and fish tacos was good. Waitress taking our order could not hear me, overhead music to loud I ask her to cut it down she did. 30 minutes later young bartender cut it back up, could not enjoy meal and conversation with my fiancé I guess it was more important for bartender to hear music than to have happy customers

We eat here frequently because the food is good and there are plenty of healthy choices to not feel bad about. The service is fine, typical of Miami. There is frequently a crowd here but the patio is first come first serve and usually pretty empty, while there can be a wait inside on the weekends. However, sometimes there is really loud music on the patio so you can't hear each other. The fish tacos and fresh catches are delicious. The shrimp and grits is also very good. For vegetarians, their black bean burger is really good.

Just walked out of Bahama Breeze Tampa location after we were denied service. Reason of us walking out is we weren't given a table even though we had reservations. Their excuse is reservations is only for inside and not outside, although the reservation site didn't state anything of sort. I know we weren't given a table because according to the host they were 20 names ahead of us, but that is the point of us having a reservation. I would never step a foot at this location again.

Very courteous staff. The restaurant is rather large and the outside searing is spacious. The complete bar features a number of great tropical drinks. On occasion there is dancing to a band or a dj outside. Food was good and prices are reasonable. A great hang out for the not so old crowd. Lots of fun.

Five of us came here for an early dinner on Veteran's Day. Unfortunately they only had one round table so we had to sit at a table with my Mum on her own at the end of the table unable to join in the conversation :-( Service was good at first, but the server never came back for refills on water or any other drinks for that matter. Food was good, but pina colada and Margarita were weak according to my friends who drank them. My wine was great and so was my lobster and shrimp quesadilla. The black bean soup and the chicken dish with lemongrass that my Mum had were all delicious. Food good, but half way through our meal the music was cranked up and it was hard to have a conversation. I don't know why restaurants do that. Overall, I would still come back as I like the food here. Plenty of parking in the mall location as we were early and it was a holiday.

We came here to have a nice time with our family to celebrate my husbands birthday and to our suprise our sever Elvis had seem to be more anoid of us than making us feel welcome. I am working in this industry myself and must say costumer service is so important because in the end a guest is not remembering the meal he or she ate but rather how she or he was treated. Besides Elvis everyone else was nice.

We brought out of town guests to this Breeze last week for lunch. To say it was a disaster is an understatement. Once seated we waited about 15 minutes for a server to arrive. We ordered iced tea and other beverages and also asked the waiter for a glass of water. The water never arrived. The fish was nothing special, but it was OK. The burgers ordered rare looked more like a piece of burned shoe leather and were inedible. The side dishes ordered were not correct. In good conscience, I can say in the past, Bahama Breeze was a nice place to dine. I don't know if they have new owners or management. I can honestly say for me, it is Bye, Bye Bahama Breeze. If we are driving by and hungry, we'll simply Breeze Right On Bye.

I love this resturant . A very good menu with choice of seafood, chicken ,steaks ,salads etc . A Caribbean kind of setting and taste makes this a must for tourists . Excellent cocktail drinks .

Delicious food and drinks. Great and fast service with a Bahamian vibes. Caribbean inspired meals rich with tropical flavors and sauces. I dropped by for a little me time and sip on an Ultimate Piña Colada which is delicious. Definitely recommend for dinner with friends, family or just because. The only downside is the parking. They do offer valet.

The food was great and the service was excellent. I love the island theme decor. The chicken dinner salad was huge! I loved the tangy dressing that was used. It was so light. The salmon dinner salad was just as huge and just as tasty. The other person in our party enjoyed the fish tacos.

We always go to this restaurant whenever we can. We don't need to reserve to dine in. Food is always great. My favorite is the ribs with guava sauce. . . hmmm. . . delicious indeed! My husband comes back for the coconut shrimp. The appetizers are very enticing, too. The only down side is that, they should also incorporate "free bread" as part of their appetizer just like the other restaurants nearby.

My partner and I had an amazing dining experience thanks to Samson, who had just completed his training and made our visit unforgettable! My partner and I were his first customers, and you would never have guessed he was new—his service was flawless. Samson recommended the Tequila Sunburn Salmon, which was paired with Sweet Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans, while my partner had the Lobster & Shrimp Linguine. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! We finished with the Key Lime Pie for dessert, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. If you’re dining here, do yourself a favor and ask for Samson. You will not regret it!

Went to Bahama Breeze for Sunday dinner with my wife, food was great, the server did an excellent job taking care of us.

My friend and I visited Bahama Breeze and loved it. Our partners wanted burger bar we wanted Caribbean fabulous and ate it. We ordered Mojitos to start followed by Jerk chicken and a lovely prawn rice and vegetable dish. Lots of different tastes. My jerk chicken had black beans, plantain, chutney and rice to accompany. Live music as well. Excellent service.

Went there for the first time with my family (wife and our two daughters ages 11 and 8 years old). Even though it was Christmas Eve the place was practically empty, so did not wait at all to have a table. Orlando was our waiter and he did a great job explaining the menu and making sure that we had everything through-out our dinner. Will definitely come back!

We were about to visit chuck e cheese, so we wanted to eat something other than pizza. Their menu is really vast, there are many different options. Service is ok. So is the food. Prices are average.

Beautiful open terrace with drama lighting ceiling fans and misters, smooth reggae music that adds divine to the mundane every thurs-sat night. I recommend the Mahi Shrimp soup bowl with rice and peas after the best fluffiest crab cakes i've ever had! Wish this were the Bahama Breeze in my neighborhood. Also, only $3 to valet park.

My husband and I both agreed this was our best meal of our whole vacation. I had the coconut shrimp and my husband had the jerk chicken. They were perfect and the sauces that accompanied our entrees were fantastic. We both loved the yellow rice also. The warm chocolate pineapple cake was delicious also. Highly recommend Bahama Breeze!!!

This place was big... huge outdoor area to eat. Food was just ok, nothing to write home about. I had a burger my wife had a crab and shrimp dinner. Both were good just not great. Service was a little slow. Server kept disappearing but wasn't awful. This was probably a one and done for me, but it really wasn't bad just nothing exciting.

I combined the coconut shrimp, conch fritters and the shrimp quesadilla's for my create your own meal. It came with a salad and was excellent.

Nothing better in a raining day...Seafood and Wine. Food was excellent and the service was excellent too.

Is alway really nice is relaxing pod food great food the music is a great place to meet friend or a family time even for a date

This review focuses only on bar food. If you're looking for a place to have a late snack (or something for happy hour), try this Bahama Breeze. The interior is predictable--as all chains are--but it open and airy, and there's a lot of outdoor seating. The huge bar is well managed and service is terrific and friendly. A beer and an order of three excellent empanadas will cost you very little--just a few dollars. Obviously the place specializes in tropical drinks.

The food was pretty good. I'm not big on citrus flavors. My husband really liked it. The wait was really LONG. 45 minutes to eat outside. I don't know if they didn't have enough wait staff or what. There are probably 20 or so tables and 8 or 10 tables were open the entire 45 minutes we waited. The music was really loud. Most people don't seem to care about that. It's just my personal opinion. The decor was pretty cool. Our server was nice and tried to take care of us. It took awhile to get food and drinks. I think they might of been under staffed in all areas. I would of rated them higher if it wasn't for the wait.

No way to describe how amazing the meal was. I strongly recommend the tilapia Oscar. The crab and shrimp we're done to perfection the tilapia was very nice on the pallet and the sauce that it's covered in amazing.

Came here for lunch on Sunday with a friend. Restaurant was cold and also about five minutes after we sat down the music started blaring so loud we couldn't hear each other talk! I had to get a manager to turn it back down again. At first our server was very good and very attentive and we got all the drinks and food quite quickly. The food was very good but after that the service went downhill fast. I had to get up and get my own refills on water and club soda and I was never asked if I wanted a refill on my coffee either. Disappointing but food great with huge portions!

Fun atmosphere at Bahama breeze. If it is warm enough enjoy the beautiful patio seating. The music is a little loud during happy hour but not crazy loud. Good food with large portions...some items have smaller portions available which is advisable unless you are sharing or planning on taking leftovers with you.

You have a choice of valet parking or self parking. You have a choice of inside seating or outside seating. It is a big place and very busy. There are a lot of choices for cocktails. It is really hard to choose just one. There are also a lot of food choices: salads, soups, beef, chicken, fish, etc. I had a Jamaican plantain bowl (see picture). Sweet plantain, rice, black bean, and ground beef. For 7 of us it was about $175. It was very good.

The food and service was great. Visited twice and enjoyed both times. It does get busy and we see why. Even with it being busy the wait time was minimal. We will visit again, and again, and again.

I've driven by this place a few times and since my friend was in town, I decided to give it a visit. The food was really great and so was our hostess and waiter. We had just got back from the beach and so we wanted some nice seafood appetizers and some sturdy food after to e good for dinner. We sat outside and it was very nice also.

Food quality had gone down but now is up to par. It is what it is and the empanadillas are to die for as an appetizer. I imagine that the restaurant us no longer understaffed or has new management. Really enjoyed my last visits both with freinds and wife.

Been coming to this great restaurant mostly now every weekend, good food, friendly staff, great value, good location, clean place, keep up the good work guys

Being from the Caribbean I was skeptical of eating at "Bahama Breeze", but it was an easy walk from the hotel and I was hungry. I sat at the bar and was cared for by "Tilo" who offered a little humour and enthusiasm to her role. The food was decent and the price fair and the service was a notch above expectation. Not too bad.

Though a small chain, Bahama Breeze defies the norm, with different menu items. My wife had the Key West Shrimp and Grits and I the Shrimp Creole. Both bowls had large portions and we enjoyed both dishes. The drinks was the Aruba Red and the Ultimate Pina Colada. My wife thought the Pina Colada was might tasty and I have had the Aruba Red before and thought is a very nice red ale. Prices were slightly more than $20 per person, due to the price of drinks. We had just missed the Happy Hour. Being a block from the hotel we stay at, we shall return.

This place is terrible. The food was disgusting. Dirty too. We ordered 2 plates and both has the chicken raw

I loved Bahama Breeze in Dallas, TX. I was upset when it left. So, I drove 30 miles from our hotel, my taste buds were watering and I was expecting fun and great service. Everything was disappointing. Seating, service, drinks, and my favorite Jamaican Wings and Habanero Wings were horrible. It may be this location because I had my wife bring them from the Tampa Bahama Breeze and they were fine. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION

This place as a pleasant surprise. Stopped over for a late dinner and the restaurant was full. Vibrant bar, good food and amazing music. If you are looking to relax and get away from the "city" go here and enjoy a bit of the "Florida Keys" experience.

Came for late dinner after flying into town with biz associates. While restaurant nearly empty, host put us next to very loud table. Food was just ok and somewhat overpriced. I'd rate somewhere between TGI Fridays and Papadeaux's.

Being from the Bahamas I had to check this place out. It was empty and the greeter was slow to the mark. Nevermind, the server was very friendly and full of conversation. I had a simple meal and it was priced reasonably. The fare is American Caribbean and the conch fritters were obviously Floridian as they were small but tasty. The venue was very pleasant and they have outdoor seating and can obviously accommodate a large crowd.

Service was decent but waiter almost rude and very impatient Food was decent and the company made it better We had the empanadas, always a favorite and overall everyone was satisfied and happy with their meal. Will return but will avoid the waiter

I ordered the frozen Bahamarita , it was delicious but very little alcohol in it. I also ordered a hummus with pita snack. The hummus tasted like vinegar, and the pita was as hard as a piece of plastic. I returned this dish and was afraid to order anything else. I like the ambiance, feels tropical.

Our mid-size group went to Bahama Breeze for lunch. Parking is now a hassle, due to their new valet arrangement. This means you cannot park close and the valet is not really there to park your car. Good intentions but bad implementation. We were seated quickly but on a broken table. Switched tables without problem but we were then out of sight (and mind) of waiter. Sodas were flat and the option was water. By now, the waiter was annoyed. The food took a very long time and all entrees were lukewarm or cold when they arrived. Fried food, when cold, is not appetizing. All special requests were ignored (no BBQ sauce, no jalapeno peppers) and the entree that was not supposed spicy was quite so. At this point, we ate what we could, paid and left. It had been a while since we went to Bahama Breeze and we will not likely return.

Went twice while on business and both times were good. The service was good and the food was good. I had salmon salad one time and quesadillas another.

I went to Bahama Breeze because it was right near the hotel. They had great outside seating and the happy hour is two hours long. Half price appetizers and discounted drinks! The fans are going strong so the temperature is very comfortable.

Went here with family and the menu is very extensive . There is truly something for everyone: beef, chicken, seafood and veg options. The fish tacos are yummy and the 2 taco portion sized option is good if you looking for a smaller portion under 500 calories. If you order the Caesar salad ask for the dressing on the side as it will come drenched if you don't ask for it in the side. Overall, our party of 6 found the food very good and the service was good too.

The food was just OK nothing to write home about. Nothing about the preparation was remotely close to an island experience. I think the cooks need to go back to school for some much needed lessons on Island Cuisine and the seasonings associated with it to make it a truly Island savoring experience. I had the pasta with jerk chicken which tasted like an overly creamy pasta dish saturated in cream sauce topped with some non- descript super soft spongy meat product that resembled meat but had zero flavor

We stopped here for a quick lunch while visiting friends. We had the lobster and shrimp quesadilla with chowder and the half Cuban sandwich with black bean soup. Also ordered the onion rings, which were HUGE! All of our food was very good, the restaurant was nice and clean, and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back

The cool weather made us chose outside sitting that fresh Sunday night. Surprise for us: apetizers were half price so we ordered just that. All the food was so good that I could not believe we were going to pay only half price. To be honest, it was my first time there and my expectations were minimal. However everything was delicious, the drinks, the caribbean music and the service made my day. I’m going back this next Sunday night. Just how I like it: no crowded, good vibes, excellent food and half price. Could I ask for more?

A friend of mine has been telling about Bahama Breeze for YEARS, but I have never been close enough to one to go. I finally had an opportunity and it lived up to his high praise. The service was quick, friendly and helpful and the food was AMAZING!!

I'm giving a big benefit of a doubt because the food was so good. We were, however, looking for a more elegant experience. Music was loud and annoying, floors were dirty, and the indoor area didn't smell nice.

Not tasty food. Waitress made a lot of mistakes. Very old furniture. Dishes are different from what you see at the menu

My first time visiting this chain and I was not impressed. Our server promptly took our order and then everything after that went downhill. One of my friends ordered soup and when they brought it out, it was cold, but I also noticed he had fish tacos with him, which is what I ordered. But he never gave them to me and instead left. We tracked down the waiter, who apologized and said the food runner was confused and assured me those weren't my tacos. He took the soup away. I then saw the food runner come out of the kitchen with a new soup. Our waiter, took it and then left it on the bar. He waited on two tables, put two orders into the computer, then picked up the soup and brought it to us. Then came my fish tacos which were barely warm. I'm guessing, they had been sitting someplace. My other friend got his meal as well and said it was good. We finished, but our waiter was no where to be found. I finally went inside and asked at the desk for our check and they said they would find the waiter. We saw him about five minutes later but he never looked our way. I got up and asked for the check. He brought it, but then disappeared again. We got tired of waiting and took it up to the front desk, but they had to get him so we could pay. The process to get the check and pay took almost as long as it took for us to eat. Doubt I'll go back.

On a recent stay my wife and I had dinner here and it was great. The food was excellent as was the service. The restaurant was clean and walking distance from our hotel.

Tlhe Bahama Breeze at Kendall Today I have the worst dining experience I have ever had, from start to finish not good. A long wait for food took an hour to get my food, the service a disaster. You will wait, and wait, and wait, and haven’t even gotten water. Would give it a zero if I could. Hostess was rude. The place is horrible, awful service from start to finish. DON’T SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE ...Not even a discount could make me feel better.

We went here for the first time on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. We were told 10 minutes even though there were tables visibly open and cleared. Once we sat it took our server 15 minutes to come to the table. I informed him we were in a rush, but unfortunately that did not help/speed him up any more. Nice guy, but not very attentive to us. We were done eating for 15 minutes and he kept just walking by us. I finally called to another server to run our card so we could get going. I would come back again to give the service another chance since everything else is so great.

I went with my business partner for lunch. We both ordered the salmon with sweet potato, broccoli and cheese. It was hot and fresh. The waiter was amazing. We had our refills and very attentive.

Great place to hold and feed my large family who came to Miami for a long-awaited wedding. Great food, great company, and of course Great Beer!!!

We went to bahama breeze first time in that place we want to try a,new restaurant and we decided to go there but that is a place that I will never go back and don't recommend to nobody else to go have a dinner or something else the food is terrible and the drinks only one of them are good but not too good for my taste if everyone wants to try something new choose another place

Simply awesome! Nice and friendly service, delicious food and drinks! Not even expensive! I will come back, soon :)

We have eaten at a number of the branches of Bahama Breeze before, but this was the first to this one. The outside deck is a bit close to the road which makes it a bit noisy, but on a warm night, preferable to sitting inside where the a/c was freezing! The service was good and the staff friendly and this would probably have been a 5* review except for the dreadful duo musicians who came on to do their turn! A trombone and a percussionist with backing tracks who had no idea how to balance their sound which was massively too loud for the venue. I’m a musician and have played for over 40 years in all sorts of venues but these guys had no idea, it hurt my ears. Get rid of them Bahama Breeze.

If you like laud music, this is for you. Maybe. Food is very average, so is service and ambiance. Prices are a bit higher for the restaurant. Maybe a good place for a few drinks before heading to movies.

Even though we arrived at the restaurant when it first opened we were expecting them to be ready to serve patrons and they were not. We sat outside at the bar but there was not a server on shift yet to take care of us. The bar was visibly dirty from the day before and I had to have them clean it. I have been to several Bahama Breeze restaurants and this one fell far below my expectations. The service was just ok and the food was terrible. Everything that normally has lots of flavor was lacking and the food was either not cooked thoroughly or not executed properly. I would never visit this location again.

We were on our way to the Keys and needed some lunch so we stopped here. We were greeted and seated in their covered outside seating area almost immediately by the friendly staff. Our waiter took our drink orders and allowed us time to look over the menu. No rush. We ordered appetizers and when they came we were surprised at the amount we received. The Crab Stack was almost a meal in itself! The meals were also big. You definitely get what you pay for here, and it tastes good too! We were enjoying the outside seating with the warm breezes but the biggest drawback was that the location is right on the main highway. If this were situated in a more remote location, away from the traffic and it's associated noise it would be a much better dining experience. However, this shouldn't be a deterrent as there is plenty of inside seating. Even the staff inside greeted me when I went in for a moment! We would definitely eat here again if our travels took us back into that area.

Havent been here for a while. New menu and very good choices starting with the appetizers. Drinks half price after 9 pm. Very good music with dj at the ouside bar. I found my new favorite spot.

It’s a good place to recreate that you’re at an island of the Caribbean with the music, food and cocktails.

The Coconut Shrimp dinner is to die for and the beef empanadas are great. The ambiance is great whether youre indoors or out. Coming back to this place next time I'm in Miami.

We went as it was convenient to where we were staying and the place was absolutely packed. The fresh seafood selection was very poor and the burger was OK. The Host was quite nice and stated that he hadn’t been with the restaurant for two months. We received no silverware or napkins and took them off a nearby table. We requested water twice and never received it. Waiter was overwhelmed and didn’t seem to care. Miami area must have low eating out standards as the place was packed and the service was horrible. We won’t be back to these restaurant.

As European tourists we wanted to eat in American style restaurants. This one was a perfect choice. Very tasty dishes, nice staff and happy customers around. We stayed in Miami for 4 days and at the evenings we always had diners there.

Poor and quality food. Presentation great! but just visual. The portions are small and the prices are high. Mahi Tacos are $ 15.50 ( 3 Units) and don't have 1 oz. of fish total.

I had a pleasant dining experience . the menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters.. if you like caribbean food , you will love this place . My favorite is the Skillet Simmered jerk shrimp... I don't know were to bigging about the tostones with chicken ..you have the choice of staying inside with a nice and smooth ambiance , and if you like music the setting outside will be perfect with a little ban playing all king of music.

This is a great choice for a casual business lunch. They have something for everyone from salads, to steak to tacos. Although this is a chain, the service is always consistent and the food special

We came early so there was no wait. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We loved that you can order smaller portions. This is helpful since ware not big eater and when on vacation it's not an option to take leftovers with you. I had the tostada salmon which was perfect in everyway!

I've only been to this restaurant a few times, and just realized they allow smoking. This most recent experience was so disgusting that I would be reluctant to ever come back.

Our waitress was negligent. She forgot plates on our table after appetizers which left little room for our main course plates. The food wasn't as appetizing as the last time we went while we were in Tampa. The restaurant is located right next to a busy highway/road so it takes away from the overall atmosphere of the place. Will not be going back again -at least not this location.

We can recommend the Bahama Breeze. The food is very tasty and the cocktails are also very good and are not watery. The staff is quick and friendly and also the prices are okay. On the terrace there was live music and it was all in all a great atmosphere. The ambience in the restaurant is also very nice, but we prefer the terrace, because with the air conditioning inside was too cold.

Jessica is terrible and racist and unprofessional does not accommodate or listen to customers. Needs better training on how to treat customers!

I ordered mahi mahi and shrimp, with no shrimp. The other stuff in the plate came out of a can. I ask how many ounces of fish were there and he told me 6, it had like 1/2 oz. The taste of everything felt very fake. Will never go and never recommend it . The plate my girlfriend had , did not taste good al all , she had the pasta with shrimp and the other thing it had. The mojito was bad, I am from the caribbean. u should learn better. U ow me $50.

Coming in to Bahama Breeze, you think it will be your regular fare of fish and Caribbean foods. Not so! There are so many things on their menu it's hard to make up your mind. Of course, we went there for fish and we were not disappointed. The salmon and mahi were fresh and well seasoned. We enjoyed everything about this meal. Oh, and the classic margaritas on the rocks, were well made and not watered down. We were there during happy hour, so two for one.. you can't go wrong!

Upon arrival I informed the hostess that it was my daughter's birthday and although they don't have something special for birthdays they would bring her a candle on her desert and sing happy birthday. No one came and no candle on her desert, not even I'm sorry so next time we will celebrate birthdays somewhere else

Add another name to the category of ex-favorite restaurants. It had been awhile but I had always found this Island Theme eatery one of my most enjoyable dining experiences. The entrees were varied and reasonably priced, the house wine selections were good and their appetizers were good to exquisite., Especially those that carried their signature and very own, Mango Sauce. But alas, just as Thomas Wolfe once lamented, that you cant go home again, the same seems to apply to once favorite restaurants after a prolonged absence. My recent experience with the Kendall location was most disappointing. The entrees for myself and my date(we both had a seafood linguine) were acceptable but the service was not. Our waitress was nervous and noticeably inexperienced and was obviously not getting any cooperation from the kitchen resulting in an inordinate long wait which caused us to be late to our movie. That wasn't the worst part. When we asked what does our dinner include, the answer was Nothing. I mean no side salad, no bread, not even crackers! Everything was Ala Carte ( even bread?!). The result was an overpriced bill of over 150.00, for two people. Oh yes we did have a glass of the house wine-- a rather indifferent tasting brand. And the before mentioned salad was as ordinary as it was overpriced (ala carte?) So as not to assumed that my experience was not unique I asked a friend of mine (who also happens to be a Master chef) and who I know had recently visited the establishment. She told me that she ordered a steak that was over cooked, with rice that was sticky and hard and plantains that were soggy and tasteless, She, on the other hand, had also inquired with other friends who had gone and the consensus opinion was all similar. Aahhh Thomas...You were right. They wont catch me their again!

These places are a dime a dozen. Food is pre-made. Wait staff want you in and out as quickly as possible. Food is good but lack real quality

No the place did not really smell but the waitress was very timid and did not have a strong voice so we had to repeat our order at least twice - the steak was not done to our request as she told us the cook could not cook it that way ( huh ??) also problem with the key lime pie - meringue on a key lime pie ? unnecessary and made the flavor less than it could have been - big thunderstorm hit about when our dinner arrived and the roof was leaking over a table or two - okay it was food !!

Our server was Christina S on Jan 15 about 11pm. She was very attentive and had great advice on selections. Fish Tacos awesome, sweet potato mash great and it retained heat from the inside so every bite was a warm smooth taste of explosion. Husband had lobster quesadilla - it was really good. The atmosphere was fun and friendly but I was impressed with the constant attentiveness each server had with their tables. I saw servers pushing up chairs with a pep in their step. The manager At this location deserves a pat on the back- this was a well oiled machine and the servers were contagious with their attitudes- male and female. Great job. I would come back often- if we lived close by.

We like this chain but this venue is what I ours describe as mediocre. Staff were lovely but the food was a little disappointing. Not what I would consider good value for money.

We recently went for lunch with some friends, the food took a really long time and when it came it wasn't even hot. The manager turned it around took care of our check, but was totally disappointed. All around fail.not going back.

The restaurant looks promising, but just don't waste your time. From when you pull into the parking lot and have to deal with the insufficient parking, this sets the stage. The food took forever, but the restaurant wasn't crowded. Our order was wrong, and - despite noting a dairy allergy for one of our kids - there had been cheese cooked onto one of the burgers then scraped off. I ordered the fish tacos - which were cold and the fish was so overlooked I thought it was chicken. Don't even bother.

We have the Jamaican Jerk wings and it was so good we all ordered the wings but of course we also had the Shrimp Pasta with spinach which was good. we goo there at least once a month.

The food was good, but we also had the intention of speaking with each other. I had to get up from my seat to go across the table to explain the menu to my mother. Even after asking for the music to be turned down, it was impossible to carry-on a conversation. I could understand if we had sat outside where the music was being played, but not indoors. Not for me, never again.

I always love the food choices and drinks at Bahama Breeze locations. It will not disappoint those who are in the search of Caribbean tasty food, drinks, music, ambiance!

We eat here at least twice a month...new manager had made this great restaurant in less appealing to us. Food is great but new manager not customer oriented. Previous manager (Sergio) always very helpful...Wish he comes back

This place is so over rated. You can compare this place to McDonald. I think McDonald's has better service than this place. First they gave my wife the wrong order and we had to send it back. My food was cold and the fries were soggy the waiters never came to refill the drinks or ask if we were doing ok. They needed more servers, there was 2 waiters for 30 tables. Very understaffed. Never going back again

Stopped by Bahama Breeze for fish tacos and fruit drinks from the Caribbean. Met Elvis! " I'm all shook up!" Elvis recommended the shrimp/lobster Quesadilla. I also had fish tacos, which were actually fresh fish. Enjoyed the Caribbean atmosphere and nice drinks.

We ate a late lunch here while on vacation. Were going to eat outside because the weather was so nice, but the music was so loud, we opted to eat inside where it was a little quieter. Service was good. Food was good. But somehow we have trouble finding a good variety of items to choose from. My husband had the fruit salad which was very good and filling. I had a west indies rice bowl. I liked that I could order a small size - it was just right for me. Also nicely seasoned.

I have to say Bahamas breeze has a nice ambience, and overall good prices. what really upset me was the fact that I had to ask my waiter 2 times to send my meat back because it was undercooked. I asked for it well done and everyone in my table did as well. The food took long plus It wasn't even cooked properly. The customer service is good, waiter was very polite. It wasn't his fault since the kitchen is in charge of the food. I personally wouldn't come solo unless it was for some event.

The worst service ever. It took a long time to get served. The food was good. And it took over 15 minutes to get my dessert and another server brought it to me. I will never go back to that location.

We were 6 and they wanted to sit us on a table for 4 or sit on table tops which I could not do for medical reasons. We waited for the manager but he said that even though the 4 tables in the front were available but he could not waste putting 2 tables together because that would be a waste but he could do it in the back of the room but not near the music. I felt humiliated and left. NEVER Coming back.

This is a favorite restaurant of mine. Just tried another location for a special occasion and as usual I was a very happy camper. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. Three suggestions would be the Jamaican chicken wings, jerk shrimp, and lobster & shrimp quesadillas. These are in no particular order. Try them, you'll like them! PS, the strawberry margarita was good too.

we met my wife's side of the family here for a late lunch. the inside of the restaurant was fairly empty, and we placed our orders for drinks and appetizers, drinks were hit and miss, my mojito tasted like 80% lemon juice while the frozen drink that my wife got was fairly good, the food took a while with the waiter apologizing for it (not his fault), but we all enjoyed it, and the portions were fine...

I was on Bahama Breeze last week and the food was really good, for entree we had the nachos which were not spectacular, but when the main course came in I realized what this restaurant was all about, the baby back ribs with guava bbq sauce were amazing, the shrimp and lobster linguine was really good too, highly recommend this restaurant, the service was great too !!

Pros - great drink menu a lot of variety - out door seating is beautiful - food comes out very fairly quick - staff is very friendly - all age groups from kids to adults were there enjoying there time Cons - different waiters work your table and when there busy they don’t really give you the attention you need - drinks are pretty strong (can be good or bad thing depending on your taste) - Dessert options are okay - a bit pricey for quality of meal - I got the lobster Mac and cheese it was amazing but it was just a bit pricey but then again it is sea food - not a great view the outdoor setting is nice but your looking out to the highway so that’s not as exciting - overall if u want a quick eat and craving island flavor this is the place

This was a nice place. It started out slow with a wait because they had no staff to service us. Then once we were given a table the service got better. I would go back to this restaurant because the food and drinks were good.

When we came up the steps leading into the door we were greeted by an overpowering smell of urine. Probably from last nights party . It should have been cleaned, they had all day we went at 2:00 pm. We ordered the chicken tostones appetizer it arrived cold. Not lukewarm I mean refridgerator cold. The server took it back and we got the same picked over plate 2 minutes later from the microwave. The entrees were the jerk chicken pasta which was ok. Mine was calypso shrimp rather bland. The portionsnwere generous but the food quality was very average. I gave it a three because the servernwas attentive

Very disappointing experience. First we are seated and after 15 minutes of not having anyone come to our table I had to go to the hostess station to get someone to come. The waiter came and finally we took our orders. Everyone was happy with the food. However bathrooms looked like the hadn't been cleaned for a while and only one of the two soap dispensers had soap. Based on the cost of the food I would consider other options in the future that are cleaner and provide better service.

It has a nice chill vibe. Great for family dinners, graduation celebrations etc. Our server was very pleasant and checked on us a lot to ensure everything was good ( Think his name was Carlton) . It was my cousins birthday and she received a nice birthday cake on the house. They have a wide variety of drinks and decent variations of food such as pastas, burgers and sandwiches. I would recommend here if you're in the area.

This is a great place to have lunch or dinner. Dinner is much better is you enjoy listening to live music. My husband and I enjoy dinner here and we particularly like the pajea, steak and shrimp and lobster pasta. The music is Caribbean. My favorite musician in this restaurant is Pluto Shervington, known for his music hits in the United Kingdom and the Caribbean. Feel free to request songs, and you will be surprised that he can sing songs from the United States as well as the Caribbean. The staff here is great. You have the option of eating inside or out on the deck. If you are a non-smoker, it would be preferable for you to eat inside of the restaurant.

We adore the servers Mike, Josh (Elvis), Scotty, Gus and Pablo. What a Team! The best GM this location has ever had is Jesse Decle. He has done miracles with this Restaurant. Trust me, we have been coming here for years and we have seen the drastic change for the best. Corporate should be extremely proud and delighted to have such a great person, who is so passionate for his Restaurant. If we can only have this place with that Team in Islamorada, FL? That would be a huge hit. We had the Chef's selection Jumbo Stuffed Crab Shells, very Caribbean flavors. Jumbo lump Crabmeat, sweet peppers and scallions, serve with the best yellow rice, green beans and light citrus cream $20.99 Worth every bite! We need Corporate to bring the dish back and make it a regular, please! If you love their Paella you will die of joy having this dish. When was the last time you visited? Because the Restaurant has been upgraded. The lanterns are finally working, they have Mist water spray wish I wish they would put them on more often. The outside patio is always open for lunch now! At night Bahama breeze looks from far like a space ship the coolest lights and the whole place transforms. The music is great specially when they have the steel drum musician. You must come back and visit to taste the new menu selection, the new drinks and signed up on line to receive the new offers. The parking is a bit tight, they do have Valet parking but $5.00 is a bit much, even in the Bahama Breeze in main Orlando is free. Must repeat, we always love to come over is like visiting Family.

Isabel was an amazing server! Best service and food I've ever had at a restaurant! Isabel had expert menu knowledge and anticipated my every need. The food was delicious and came out really quickly! I will definitely come back the next time I am in Miami.

Stopped by on way home from work. Had a couple beers and shrimp and crab quesadilla and coconut shrimp and it was under $20 . The bartender Gene was on point and the music playing was great.

Went there on a Sunday....afternoon...had beer and a drink...and some appetizers...everything was good.....waitress a little crazy....gave us the wrong ticket...if i didn't notice...i would have paid $30 more...otherwise...everything was really good...Music also....was good...

Delicious sweet and spicy flavor! we always order the coconut shrimp and jerk chicken pasta. This is our dinner at least once a month, we love it!

We do enjoy a visit to Bahama Breeze when on holiday in America. Arrived late afternoon, seated and served promptly. Food as usual tasty and portions large. My only slight niggle is that we were sat at a booth (we did ask for a booth) which was dimly lit as seen in the photos. However, this did not detract from our enjoyment of the food. Platter I had was very nice with varying flavours, onion rings came by the mountain and the deserts were very nice as well. Server was sometimes hard to understand, but, she was very helpful and attentive. I find it odd that they’re are not more Bahama Breeze’s in Miami or closer to downtown/Miami beach area.

I remember trying this restaurant over 10 years ago and not liking it, have been avoiding it ever since. I decided to give it another try since I was going to catch a movie nearby. This time I was pleasantly surprised. The "drinks" menu is huge, the appetizers were delicious and the curry goat I had as my main was also very good. The staff was friendly and helpful describing the menu. The atmosphere was festive. Valet park as parking is always awful in this mall.

Pandemic times visit went OK; good health protocol without being dogmatic. Food was Bahama Breeze typical; tasty fish tacos and others. However, mixed drinks were a disaster; the regular frozen Margarita tasted like a chemical re formulation. Had to send back after a sip. Their “natural” top Margarita (I don’t remember what was called) was acceptable but at a much higher price. They did had the nerve to charge us for the Margarita we sent back... Poor Management and need better bartending.

The staff is friendly and attentive. Oh my goodness we cna't say enough about the food. Every single thing we ordered was wonderful! Full of flavor! And the portions are just right!

Been here a few times and the food has always been pretty good, can't complain, it's just one of those places that you just don't think too much about, . I don't know why but it's never my first second or third choice when we are dining out. Again, not to knock them down the food has always been good, I believe it might be the generic big store chain type restaurant feel that this place gives off.

Service was terrible especially Roxy. She was mean declining our request. And being disrespectful. This is to fil it innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Why, oh why, is this place still open. Very few on a Friday night should speak volumes. 5 dinners and not one was worth the $$. Tiny shrimps, small flat piece of dolphin, fatty ribs, and dry over cooked pasta. Please put this place out of its misery.

Party of 11 for dinner and we got seated within 15 minutes. Service was very attentive. Group had a variety of dishes and all were well prepared and tasty. When crowded it is quite noisy.I understand it's a chain. We would look for it in our travels.

Went with my daughter for happy hour. The drinks are between 3 and 4 dollars and all the appetizers are half off. Probably one of the best happy hours in Miami

I've been here for a week and this was my favorite of all the places I have eaten. I had to go twice! Eating outside was awesome, especially with the entertainment. The food was incredible! The homemade lemonade, drinks, that island vinaigrette salad dressing on the house salad was out of this world! The fish tacos and jerk chicken pasta... Yum!! Both times I had incredible service! Very upbeat place! Enjoy!!!

My wife and I make it here once or twice a year, when visiting Miami. The food is very good, as is the service. It's a little pricey, but not over priced.

Something for everyone. Nice bar area great for mixing. We were here for a family reunion. Great service. Appetizers include Key West nachos, Tistones with chicken, beef empanadas. Quesadillas, seafood crabstack, coconut shrimp, and wings. Small plates are available including pork and conch. Soups, entree salads, soups, seafood pasta, shrimp and Mahi bowls, fish tacos and Cuban sandwiches. You want it, they have it. Rum cake for dessert or the best key lime pie. A very fun place to go. A bit noisy!

Went here for happy hour. The appetizers were half off and the well drinks were $3. I had the shrimp and lobster quesadillas and the coconut shrimp. I have to say they were very good. There were TV's at the bar and music playing for a good ambiance. Will definitely return.

The food was really good. Ordered the salmon with the mango salsa which was delicious. The mashed sweet potatoes and the green beans were cooked well. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh and tasty.

Over all we had an amazing server his name was Enrique (name tag) - Slick Rick He was really helpful, knew his menu very well and was able to answer every single of our questions with no hesitation. It was couples & in laws having dinner all having different taste and he was able to accommodate us all. The only issue we had was the host/hostess, we were a party of 6, we didn't know what table they were going to put us in but when we did notice what table we were going we asked if it was possible to switch to another table no more than 5 steps apart and that would accommodate us more. The host informed us we were not able to have it due to that the fact that the server in that section was already dealing with a larger party. 4 out the 6 people in our party work or have worked in a restaurant industry so we understand how it works it's no different. What bothered us was that we were told we could NOT sit there because the server was dealing with a large party I believe 8-10 people but then no more than 10 minutes later the host sat a party of 4 in her section( by that time we had just only ordered drinks) that same table we requested and there might be a difference between 4 & 6 guest but the purpose to have many servers on the floor is to "help each other out and back each other up and accommodate all guest that walk through the door" so if we would've wanted to sit at a specific table I'm sure we have the right to sit there and I'm pretty sure a host response shouldn't be "well a server is already working on another party" . That's not my problem if she would need help the server should ask for help from other servers or the managers on duty. Dinning experience November 8,2015 around 830 Table 227 is the one we requested at the last minute but did not receive Thank you

It is a restaurant that, within a range of reasonable prices, offers tasty, well-crafted food with that Caribbean touch that makes it different. It’s not a haute cuisine place, but it doesn’t pretend to either: it’s a good place to do it if you’re looking for a good meal without leaving your pocketbook. Special mention of jerk chicken and appetizer patties. Although the terrace is well decorated and has its charm, it must be said that the traffic passing nearby can be a bit annoying. I prefer the interior. Very attentive, fast and professional staff. It's nice to see waiters who aren't just watching for tips. The happy hour on weekdays has interesting offers and is worth taking advantage of if you go with time. In short, good service and prices adjusted to what they offer. Unpretentious, but with very good taste.

First time visiting. Nice place. Although kind of dark. Nice friendly staff. Good prices. Good place hang out with friends. Definitely coming back!

This is a mediteranian cuisine restaurant with and island theme decor. Cuban influence as well as american food. The seafood paella was out of this world good. Conch fritters and cuban sandwich were also very good. Available outdoor dining and beach bar sets it apart. A must visit place.

We were a group of 8 and two of us valet parked our cars only to find that a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses were stolen from one car and a $50 dollar gas card also stolen from the glove compartment of the other car. The restaurant was a nice to visit, but if you valet park your car, make sure you don't leave anything other than a dirty diaper inside your car...

So we had a reservation on Father's Day at 6:00pm. We arrived at 5:45pm and checked in. The hostess advised that we had a 25 minute wait. I could not believe what I heard, so I repeated that we have a 6:00pm reservations. The hostess again advised that, "yes, you still have a 25 minute wait. We are running behind and don't have any servers." Well...6:50pm the hostess finally call us to be seated. The attitude from the hostess was the worst. I will never come back again. What's the use of making reservations? The only reason they get 1 rating is because I can't leave it blank. Truly don't deserve a 1.

My wife and I were hesitant to dine here due to not so good experience at other locations; however, we are glad we did. Good service, atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. We decided to begin with some appetizers ( Beef Empanadas and the Breeze Cheese-Yuca sticks), they were delicious and plenty for both of us. My wife decided to have the Bahama Mama and I the Muscato White Sangria, they were prepared perfect. Definitely try it again if ever around this area in the future.

If you like Caribbean dishes, such as the ones created in Jamaica and the Bahamas, this is the place to visit. On this visit we had the jerk chicken, a specialty of Jamaica, tasty and abundant, not to be forgotten. We also had the shrimp and mahi mahi dish on a bed of yellow rice that was excellent. For dessert I recommend their coconut cream pie or their delicious guava cheesecake. Price is reasonable and service is tops.

Met a friend for dinner. Music was very loud both outside and inside. Requested a quiet booth but the location was still very noisy so I got up and walked throughout the restaurant to the far left area which was not quite as bad so asked to be moved and the Hostess kindly obliged us. Food was very good.

I have driven by this place at least 300 times since I moved to Miami, and had never been. Now that I've tried it, I plan on returning till I'm done trying every eye-catching thing on that fabulous menu. The drinks are colorful and inviting, the music, the flavors...I felt like I was having lunch on a little island in the Caribbean. I'm Puerto Rican and was pleased to see they even have Coquito! I wholeheartedly recommend my plate--Jamaican Stuffed Plantain Bowl. This thing--it was amazing. I snuck a few licks off my plate when I thought no one was looking...

We had a wonderful first experience at a Bahama Breeze restaurant. Our server was very nice and helpful and we each enjoyed our choices!!

I always loved Bahamas Breeze! Especially their mashed potatoes with cilantro sauce. But here they have a ropa vieja sandwich with Cuban bread! It is so delicious!! Black beans are a bit spicy which their not supposed to be, not a fan. But the sandwich is amazing!

Got there around 8 pm and waited for a table for an hour and a half which was 45 minutes more than what we were told. However, this wasnt the issue... at 9:40 pm i placed my order which contained some wings but they didnt get to my table until 11 pm.. my mojito drink was also missing for 40 minutes.. the server barely went to the table... he would only come when he was called.. food was good, but the service made it impossible to enjoy it.. won't ever go again...

The food was okay and so was the service. Honestly I just came here for cheap drinks. Don't expect much for the quality of food or the drinks. Service was attentive although I did notice as it got busier, the service got a little chaotic.

We held a fundraiser and this restaurant offered to help. They contributed their beef and potato empanadas and coconut breaded onion rings. The onion rings are huge with large slices of onion. The breading is crisp and tasty without being greasy. The empanadas are large and filled with seasoned beef and chopped vegetables and potatoes. This is a fun and lively place with a casual outdoor bar and full dining area. I'd definitely go back because of the overall quality of food, pricing and service. But, I'd like to mention that they are very community minded, so please give them a try! They also have take-away food which allows for front door parking for your pick-up.

Good food nice atmosphere we did happy hour drinks and half off appetizers. Shrimp and lobster quesadilla and coconut shrimp

Use to enjoy going to this restaurant. They use to play Calypso Music. Now on certain days, the Music from the Isle of Cuba. If I wanted to hear that I would go to a Cuban restaurant. ( in which I love Cuban food). I miss the Caribbean Music that made you think that you escaped to Islands for an Hour. The food is alright. There cocktails are delicious.

This is an Awesome place. The food is great and the menu is very versatile. The staff is all very nice and Friendly. Luke is an Outstanding bartender. He's always on top of things and he really has his act together and knows what's going on at all times. This place is always booming. I loved the live music and the Jamaican feel . Also we made friends with the Jamaican singer. Love this place!!! You go to Miami you definitely absolutely need to visit this place!!!

I live in Dallas we had one of the restaurants years ago but unfortunately it went away. I recommend the jerk chicken pasta and the firecracker shrimp

We went there on an early Friday evening i.e. before 7 pm. We wanted to sit outside. Since our table was not going to be ready before 15 minutes, we elected to go to the bar for a drink (Ultimate Margarita). The barman was sweating, moody and obviously not friendly even when I tried to strike a conversation with him. At least, the drink was really good. The food was good (Mahi-Mahi, conch fritters, lobster quesadilla) but not extraordinary. We wanted to be on the patio mostly for the music since we expected a live band to play from 7 PM to midnight. No music until 8 PM from 8 to 9:30 (the time we left), a "very" senior citizen with a guitar did some "lip singing" for 15 minutes and went to socialize with his friends thereafter. The place really gives you a good Bahamas vibe but, I'm sure they could have done much better when it comes to entertainment. If they can't find a good Caribbean band, a good and "lively" DJ could do the job. We wanted to stay longer but, it was so boring that we have decided to go elsewhere for a drink. This was a lost opportunity for Bahama Breeze).

Food is very good, so is service. Atmosphere is nice gives a island vibe. Pricing is about right for quality and quantity of food.

A very large restaurant with a overwhelming menu, price reasonable, lots of selections and good for group, staff is good and the quality of the food is good, stay mainly with the seafood or fish. Large selection of Tropical drinks.

We came to Bahamas Breeze for dinner after a crazy day. OMG when Thalia greets us at the Front Desk it just absolutely sets our mood immediately to a happy state. She is too funny. Bahama breeze must be doing something good because she always seems so happy to be there. Gus was our waiter. He anticipated our needs and seemed to know exactly what we needed next. We love Gustavo! Please thank them on our behalf. Bahama Breeze Rocks!

We had not been here for year's and decided to eat here after attending the Kendall Regal Movie Theatre. First of all, our Waiter, Stefan, was outstanding in all respects. Friendly, attentive, responsive and delightful. We will return and when we do we will ask for Stefan. Blue Moon draft nice and cold. Fantastic Onion Rings, Conch Fritters and Seafood Chowder (the cup is actually a good size bowl). Two of us enjoyed the great Seared Ahi Tuna plate which was delicious and plentiful. The third person in our family had the bacon and cheddar burger which he devoured. Topped of the meal with the Rum Cake Dessert which was fantastic and unique.

The atmosphere is great. They play really great music. The service was good, not great but good. The food was amazing. I had the Cuban bowl which I will totally recommend. You also must try the Pina Colada in the pineapple it is so yummy!! The only problem I had with this place is that I feel that they need to upgrade their booths. Some of the seats are so old that they have big slashes in them and the stuffing is coming out. Aside from that it's a great place to just hang out and have a great meal.

Have been to other Bahamas. Breeze restaurants and had a very different experience. Not worth the money. Service was very slow and the restaurant seemed dirty. Would not return

Just got back from My birthday celebration at Bahama Breeze Kendall with about 30 friends and just would like to share how amazing Sam was. He went out of his way to accommodate my party, he was so kind and generous! I had an amazing time. Food was great, as well as drinks! Servers and outside bar staff very friendly and helpful. I would not only recommend this place, but I will be coming back with my family for sure! Thank you so much for making this an amazing experience! ❤️

I ordered the snapper. Seemed old and overcooked. Family felt the same about their food.. Jerk chicken..The service was fine. Lots of traffic to get to this spot due to it being on Kendall drive surrounded by lots of stores and malls. I was not impressed with this place. I would not recommend. It definitely portrayed chain to me.

We went for Happy Hour and had a variety of tapas and most of them were good. The Yuca cheese sticks and the House made Guac were surprisingly good as well as the Coconut Shrimp. However, the Chicken Tostones were tasty, yet a bit greasy, and the Crab with Three Cheese dip lacked any true flavor.

We go to this restaurant everytime I stay in Florida which is every February and it never fails to serve great food and service. Would highly recommend and the outside terrace area is fantastic.

First time visit and I was really looking forward to the Caribbean food.was not impressed .it all seemed very processed/

Started off appetizer with coconut shrimp. Mojito then rock shirmp and for my meal jerk chicken. If you come ask for Vic amazing customer service the chefs also sent out extra sauce for the jerk chicken it is a must try the restaurant is super clean there fast pace and well you have to come see for your self.

OK food and very good service from the waiter Jasmin, which was perfect and very nice. The margaritas were excellent, the rum drink called Bruno was also interesting. In addition, everything in the Bahama Breeze network standard.

Awful service, nobody came to our table, we wait 15 min and the waiters didn't care at all. They looked at us and made us feel invisibles. I don't recommend this place

Excellent Food, excellent portions, Outstanding service, great music. Jessica was an excellent waitress, her recommendation were right on the money. Price was not as high as I had expected. Will return for sure.

I visited Bahama Breeze as it was recommended by the hotel staff during my stay. I went on a Tuesday night, and it wasn't very busy. There was live music outside and sports showing on TV inside. Food: I was leaning toward the fish tacos or chicken quesadillas, but the bartender mentioned that they were known for their jerk chicken when asked so I went with that. It was way too much food for me. The chicken took up half the plate and came with yellow rice, black beans and plantains. I also did not find it very tasty and I think the chicken may have not been cooked all the way (lighting was dim, so I couldn't see if there was any pink) because my stomach started to hurt before I left the restaurant. Drink I had the pineapple mojito. It was OK and I liked that it came with a piece of sugarcane. If I go again, I would likely try the coconut one. Service I sat at the bar and found the bartender to be very personable and knowledgeable of the menu. However, she was also helping to get the food out so it took a while to get her attention for the check. Overall, the vibe was fun and they had a happy hour starting at 9pm so it could be a good stop for drinks and apps if you're hanging out at that time. I would try it again, buy choose different menu items.

I brought two friends here for their birthdays, especially for the Keylime pie for dessert because that was what they were craving. I made an open table reservation and we sat outside, which was quite busy. Service was pretty slow and we were never offered refills on water and had to ask multiple times. The food itself was good, but when we got to the birthday dessert, they were all out of Key lime pie! The manager and server told us that they had a cooked it but it was still cooling and it would take a long time to be ready. You would think by 6:30 PM on a Friday night they would have their signature dessert ready to go. My friends were extremely disappointed. Happy hour drinks were good prices however, so that helped a little but still disappointing.

I honestly don't know where all these good reviews come from. Perhaps the fact that Kendall is not known as foodie destination makes this restaurant seem better than what it really is. I've tried eating here three times because I love seafood and all three time have been disappointed. This Saturday afternoon was worse. They have live music but honestly the radio would have been better, We both ordered the seafood pot and it arrived in a bowl without a seafood fork to pull the mussels out or a bowl to place the shells. After ordering hot sauce twice, I had to go to the bar and order it myself. I got two types but only one of the bottles had hot sauce. It seemed like the staff was bothered to be there. No genuineness about them. The food itself was just O.K. Two seafood pots, one children's meal, one soda and one martini.. $70 There are much better seafood places in Kendall. Feel free to scroll through my reviews

We arrived at 125 pm and were seated right away. Waited 15 minutes for the waitress to come to the Table. The waitress took the drink order and after another 15 minutes no drinks. We got up and left. Never again. The level of service has declined!!!!
Good Food,bad service,
I went here 10 years ago and not liked, never return, but last month I went Tampa and My Family invite to the one opening there this year.Excellent,, and deside back to the one in Miami, food was very good, but poor service from Joshua, never smile, ask for a drink and very rude tell me that is not included in Happy Hour time...so what,I just ask for drink not for price. He's very rude,He has wrong job. Also ask to seat outside and they tell me no(3.45 PM) is closed. 15 minutes later they start to seat persons there. I feel discriminate, maybe because I was speaking Spanish , in both case (Server and Hostess )
