Excellent Pizza and a great environment. Huge pizzas with lots of toppings. Clean. Friendly service. Would definitely visit again.

I stopped here for a lunch after the rush, and greatly enjoyed the quiet of the outdoor seating, nestled under an atrium between two Amazon buildings. I had the arugula salad and it was fantastic. I like my salads fairly damp, and this one was dripping--delicious. The serving was heaping, a treat for a lunch salad, with the prosciutto hiding beneath and parmesan generously on top. The oil-based dressing balanced the salty prosciutto nicely. It was filling and satisfying and this will be my go-to lunch when working in this part of Seattle.

The pizza is top notch, including the crust. Too bad they are cashless, I'd go there more often if they accepted cash. $4 for a can of pop?? Way-y-y too high. Invest in a soda dispenser. They ask for a tip when you sign the credit card? What happened to a tip being for service provided? They want a tip for accepting your credit card?? I'll only come back for take out.

Ballard Pizza Company serves up NY style pizza in Seattle. They offer a variety of pies and slices, plus salads and drinks. The food is delicious, and the service is quick, helpful, and friendly. Stop in!

You can get slices or you can order an entire pizza. I went with the classic pepperoni, yum – thin crusty, and perfectly chewy with crispy pepperoni. Karen went with their Bianco pizza covered with roasted garlic and green beans. This was actually my favorite. I am not a huge fan of red sauce and I know this, so I always love the white pizza styles. We also split a third slice – classic cheese pizza topped with sweet red peppers and zucchini…

This restaurant has good pizza and many good draft beers. The atmosphere is typical Ballard, young and fun. The sitting is not great and they do not take reservations.

Much better than average pizza with many unusual toppings available. Very accommodating and gracious waitstaff. Dining experience only let down by the very high noise level, especially in the back dining room. Conversation almost impossible.

Best slices of pizza for the price point. Love the atmosphere of the place and the employees are always nice. I've never had a slice I don't like here and they're nice and thin but generous is size

Here for dinner to catch up on life with another couple. Seated quickly by friendly, efficient staff. Pizzas good, but nothing compared to Tutta Bella. Salad was ample and local beer selection was adequate. Urban ambiance music (not quite techno, but close) was way too loud and chairs not butt-friendly at all. Pizzas on the pricey side. Cavernous room paired with regular restaurant noise and music not conducive to conversing with friends. Being open late (especially on Sunday) is a plus, though.

We left from SC almost 24 hours agonto visit Seattle for a week. Driving thru and smelled the pizza. Did my usual Trip Advisor app.and saw it was well rated. Walked right in, sat and ordered. Excellent service and great food!

We stumbled upon this cute neighborhood pizza joint after visiting the Ballad Locks and it was, by far, the best pizza I have had in a long time. On our first visit, we were promptly seated and attended to by a very helpful server. It was late afternoon and we hadn't eaten since breakfast, so needless to say we were all very hungry. They sell pizza by the slice and whole pizza and, while the menu is limited, the choices served our family well. Their flatbread was the bomb!!! It was actually the reason my daughter insisted on going back two days later. The 2nd visit was at dinner time and the place was packed. Since they only have about 10 tables, we had to wait for about 30 minutes, but it was well worth the wait. It was just as good and, if we are ever in Seattle again, we will definitely return for more amazing pizza!!

We're new to the Ballard neighborhood and decided to give this place a try. From the decor to the friendly staff to the great menu, this place will definitely be a spot we come back to. The decor is not overdone, but fits the place perfectly. From the wooden pizza paddles to the mixed wood walls, they nailed it with the decorations. You can get pizza by the slice or can order whole pies. The menu has some traditional pizzas, but this place puts its own twist on the classics. I got the veggie pizza and as one of the toppings, they used picked peppers. It was amazing. And, if you're not sure what type of pizza to get, you can get 1/2 of a pie as one type, and the other 1/2 as another. The salads are super fresh and huge! I hate going to places and spending $8 on a starter salad that has 4 leaves of lettuce and one tomato. Ballard Pizza does not skimp! Another thing that's huge is the size of the pours for beer and wine. Who wants to drink 4 oz. of wine if you can get 6 to 8 for the same price?!

We were a party of 6 so called ahead for "reservations" which means they put your name on the board. We were seated right away and ordered a selection of wines and beers. We bit the bullet and decided to order the Big Moses, which is a surprise pizza -- living on the edge, we are! Also ordered two other pizzas but decided if we order the surprise again we should probably mention a few things we absolutely do not want (like super-hot peppers!). Anyway, the service is a little slow/uninterested but the food is divine. In fact, it might be in the crave-able category, because it's only been two days and I already want to go back for more!! Finally, I think the bill was close to $200 when it was all said and done which is a bit pricey for a pizza and beers but next time I will probably stand in line and get a few slices instead of ordering an entire pizza.

Pros: solid pizza, interesting and fresh salads, super good service! Good vibe for a cute date or family/ friends. Cons: REALLY UNCOMFY CHAIRS!!! Ballard, please get different chairs because they're so bad!! Also, the menu is pretty basic so don't go expecting anything super fancy. I also think the prices are a little high but on par with Tutta Bella. Shoutout to our nice server on Monday the 21st! They were understaffed and she had a great attitude.

Crisp, crust, browned cheese, pepperoni that Italians would fight for, solid beverage selection and fun atmosphere. I wish they opened for lunch.

We ate here when the restaurant we had planned to eat at was on a 3 hour wait.....Pizza was simple and good, Caesar salad was very good, and service was friendly....$50 for 1 pizza, 1 salad, 1 beer and 1 coke seems high, but it's in Ballard....waited 30 mins for a table ......which might be a stretch for this place, but on a Saturday night in Ballard, I was glad to do it....

This was our family pizza place for a long time. We went there almost weekly. Haven’t been in a while so we were disappointed to see the place a bit run down. Pizza and salad not as good as they used to be. Service was fine. Prices higher, tiny tiny lettering at bottom of menu stating a 4% charge going directly to restaurant (I suppose so you don’t lessen tip for server). Maybe to cover credit card fees that are 3% and they just rounded up to 4? Kind of a shame- we have nice memories here. I think it’s just really a slice place for hungry bar crowd these days.

Excellent Carbonara -- possibly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Great service. Great location what with other bars and restaurant close.

Finally a great traditional pie in Seattle with amazing crust and fantastic toppings. This is not frufru pizza, though I guess you could make one that way. This is great hand tossed crust, fresh ingredients, big slices and a fun atmosphere. It just doesn't get any better than this. Ethan has another hit on his hand.

The stone structure was very nice. We had 7 people and service was great. We ordered 2 salads, 2 pizzas and 2 desserts which were all AMAZING!!!! We even had food left over. Both pizzas had their individual taste (one of a kind very nice). The type of music was great however a little loud for conversational talking.

Huge, hot, and ready when they said it would be. Located right in the heart of Ballard with much happening all around.

Their pizza is thin-crust, but somehow crispy and chewy at the same time, in the best way. We got pizza by the slice and shared the caesar and arugula salads, which were both outstanding. Will definitely return.

This restaurant serves amazing pizza and provides very good customer service. The entire pizza was very flavorful to include the crust, and the cloves were enormous. Ballard Pizza Company is a great choice, if you are in the mood for pizza.

We had a long day and we had already been up for 24 hours. We got the Whole Hog Pizza and goodness it was delicious. Great choices of beers on tap and plenty of pizza choices. Our server was awesome and she knew we were tired! If I ever come back to Seattle, I would eat here again!

$5.50 gets you a pint and a slice of pizza. $4.50 gets you a pint of your choice. It is not too far from Lake Union and we stopped on the way back to downtown. Great selection of beer on tap and many choices for pizza.

I guess my family has become regulars here. The atmosphere is great....nice long booths or some standing tables if you are just grabbing a slice and a beer. The wait staff is great, very personable and gracious. There are always good beers on tap or cool specialty sodas my kids love as an out to dinner treat. The pizza is very good, quite large and reasonably priced for Seattle. Traditional choices and some more unique toppings. The salads are delicious. We love the chop salad with olives and salami. The mozzarella salad is savory with olives, sun dried tomatoes and soft authentic cheese. One salad easily feeds several people. Everything I have ever had here is fresh and delicious. Some pizza, a beer and a stroll to the movie theater up the street makes for a great night out for a couple or a family. The earlier part of the evening this is a family place after 7 it becomes more of an adult spot. Great for both.

You can't go wrong with these slices. I had a cheese slice (good enough) and what probably was a special vegetarian slice: spinach and roasted garlic. YUM, YUM, YUM! My partner had 2 slices of the Hawaiian and was very satisfied. Now, I don't know how much we paid for the slices, which makes it hard for me to determine whether the slices were worth the price. But if you're looking for a snack or interested in grabbing a quick slice (or pie), definitely can't go wrong here.

Food: Tasty pizza Service: Good Price: Good Value: Good Ambiance: Casual dining Decor: Wood furniture Location: Good We came across the pizza restaurant because where we wanted to go went out of business. We were hungry and it made everything taste better. Lucky for the pizza joint...and us.

We devoured a huge pizza that was loaded with great stuff. The crust had to be one of the best we've eaten and our son said it tasted just like he remembered Italian pizzas that we ate on our trip to Italy many years ago! We also ordered & ate two side salads that were large enough for the 4 of us to get our fill of yummy greens. And the anchovies in the Caesar salad dressing tasted perfect.

Ballard Pizza Company makes great pizza with high quality ingredients, great crust, and quick service. You can purchase by the slice or the whole pizza. Salads are fantastic, and they have a great selection of beer and wine.

Totally awesome recipes.Crust to die for. Many original combinations. We had the Parma and added sausage. Can't be beat anywhere. Price is up there but it's very good.

Best in Ballard. Thin crust that is magically not wet or greasy. They do offer a lot of the pretentious foo foo toppings, but the old stand boys are available as well. Nice warm room with communal tables if that's your thing. Excellent friendly service.

This was our first visit to the Ballard Pizza Company and it will not be our last. This restaurant has a typically funky feel like many of the food establishments in the Ballard district and is warm and inviting. The selection of beers on tap are great and all are local as well as a nice selection of wines and non-alcoholic beverages. We started by splitting a Caesar salad that was huge, tasty and had really nice greens. The pizzas we chose was called the "Parma" and had Prosciutto, heirlom tomato sauce, fresh arugula, fresh mozzarella and was brick oven baked with an amazing crust and super fresh ingredients. You know it is good when there are two slices left and you are full but eat them anyway. We highly recommend you try them out.

i love this place and the pizza is amazing. the atmosphere is great too. recommend to anyone looking for a great pizza place

Went here with family and friends after spending the afternoon at Discovery park. We showed up right at 4 pm when it reopens for the evening. So had no trouble getting seated promptly . We tried 4 different pizzas and all were amazing - Fungi / Veggie Bomb / Margherita / Bianco. The crust was well done and amount of cheese and toppings just right Also tried a pitcher of the Pilsner

I've been a handful of times to Ballard Pizza company and without fail they always turn out a great, consistent, pie. On my last visit I was with my Boyfriend and his teenage daughters. We got two medium sized pies and had zero leftovers. One of the teenagers is allergic to *everything* and the waiter was great about working with her to create a pie she could and *wanted* to eat. The menu offers great pizza types and we always come back to "the bridge" or "staple and fancy" -- plenty of topping to create your own as well. Beer selection changes and always has something for the more seasoned drinker. The restaurant itself is always jammed, by proximity you can't help but to get to know the tables next to you. Only complaint would be the night we where there the music was all 50/60s stuff my parents would have listened to -- not exactly the demographic for this restaurant. Given the location and clientele I would have hoped they could have been more inventive with their playlist.

Stopped in for a late night slice...weren't many left and we were worried they were the leftovers but all 3 varieties were top notch. The crust is excellent and the toppings very nicely done. The staff was friendly and a nice selection of local beers. They are open til 11:00.

I was enthused about trying this pizza after so much positive press. Had a half pepperoni, half sausage pie. Crust was crisp, lacking the proper textural chewiness of the real thing. The pie was too salty. I can't determine whether it was the meats, the sauce or the cheese; perhaps all three. Pleasant atmosphere, good service. I've had much worse outside of New York. Basically OK, and probably good by West Coast standards, but the real item it is not.

Outstanding pizza and great beer. What more could you want?oh also perfect service from the staff. So just go. Try the summer ale if it's still there.

Great little shop with a nice feel to the place. Shady outdoor seating for summer days. They pizza by the slice if your in a hurry or you can sit and wait for a fresh cooked one. Good selections of beverages including a variety of beers. We found the pizza to be a little bit greasy but otherwise just fine.

A nice cozy nook to hang out with family and friends on a nice winter day is Ballard Pizza on Ballard St. Try the fungi and spinach pizzas. One that caught my eye is "Big Moses" described to be "the chosen pizza. Have some faith, it will be good."

After walking by Ballard Pizza without going in I decided to give it a try this afternoon. I ordered a slice of their mushroom pizza. It was good. I would suggest giving it a try during their Happy Hour which is Sunday - Thursday

Went here with a party of 6, got seated quickly. Waiter very friendly and quick on the uptake. Ordered an appetizer and 2 pizzas. It was all very good and I would come back again.

Located in the heart of historic Ballard this is a great pizza company that is better than the many others around! Fresh sauces and toppings with great salads! Pick it up for an easy night in or enjoy the open aired restaurant with great craft beers. The pizza has a delicious thin crust that allows you to enjoy the pizza without getting too full to fast.
MANDATORY TIPPING, POOR SERVICE, MEDIOCRE FOOD.
The service was poor, the quality not much better. The waiter gave the same “song and dance” to everyone. He would bring out an item ordered and apologize about something then offer to “make it right, discount the item, etc. I assumed this behavior was his way of earning a better gratuity. It was not. It apparently was his way of earning an even GREATER gratuity than the 20% they AUTOMATICALLY ADDED to your check! It infuriates me that a business does this underhanded trick and gets away with it. I appreciate the service workers and am generous in tipping people who have a good work ethic and try to do a good job. This mandatory gratuity shortchanges the customer as the server already knows the tip is coming and there’s no motivation to do a good job.
