This restaurant brought me back to being in Thailand. Everything about feels like it was lifted out of Bangkok and dropped into Seattle. The food, drinks, decor, staff, everything felt authentic. I highly recommend this place if you like Thai food.

This place is great for Thai street food in Belltown, Seattle. Cool, eclectic interior with a great vibe. The menu is comprehensive, and the wait is short. Packed with people who were all having a great time--especially people celebrating birthdays.

Our family (myself, hubby, and my dad) came for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon. From pictures and reviews it sounded more like a food hall with different food stations. It was a regular restaurant with decorations of Thai street food stands. We were seated promptly outside on the patio as it was a warm day. We are of Thai heritage and have been to Thailand many times. We ordered papaya salad with crab (Som tum poo), Kor moo yang, sticky rice, pad Thai goong, Kua gai and Thai iced tea. I’ll comment each dish separately. Som tum poo - Thai papaya salad style with a good mix of sweet, sour, and salt. We end up using the sauce of the salad for flavoring the noodle dishes. Kor moo yang - the flavor was good but $18 is a little high for the amount received in my opinion. Pad Thai goong - Shrimps were cooked well. The noodles had some wok taste but flavor was not quite there. We ended up using the sauce from the papaya salad to help even out the favor of the dish Kua gai - the noodle and seafood were cooked decently. The chicken was dry though. Again used the papaya salad sauce to flavor. Sticky rice portion is small. It must have been good since he ordered a second one. Thai iced tea didn’t quite hit the mark. It was missing something - like more cream and sugar. Was going to order dessert - kranom krok but waitress confirmed that it was not made fresh so I passed. I appreciated the honesty. Our bill was a little over $100 with tip. Prices are high but probably due to its location being in downtime Seattle. We are glad to have stopped in as my dad reminisced of the Bangrak Market in Thailand. Our eating ceramic plates were chipped which we didn’t care for and would have prefer the aluminum plates of the Thai street food stalls. The aluminum cups were a nice touch. Before we were done, they gave us our bill because happy hour was starting soon. Not sure what that meant but thought it was interesting. Other customers had the same question (what happy hour?) and puzzling reactions. Customers service was good.

This was our first time trying Bangrak Market while visiting Seattle. This is our new favorite restaurant and new staple while visiting. There was a hour and half wait with tons of people outside which is always a great sign for business. It is definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere was very upbeat with music blasting over the speakers which we enjoyed. We started our dinner with a beer tower which came with a sparkler attached to the top and an order of the crying tiger as an appetizer. This was the highlight of the meal and what I would order again in the future with a side of rice. The meat was extremely tender and flavorful. For our entrees we got Pad Thai and Curry, both really good. The Pad Thai was our favorite entree. We got it at 2 and it was slightly sweet with a little kick. Next time I'd try a 3 on the heat. The curry was no slouch either. It had deep flavor and was amazing poured over rice. We are already looking forward to the next time!

Food was fresh, authentic and delicious! Anytime there’s a line, you know it’s gotta be awesome! We sat outside under a heating lamp and ate amazing Thai street food. Their passion fruit margarita is refreshing and delicious. Everything was really fresh and tasty. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great authentic food!!

Wanted to try this place in the fall and didn’t make it so we were so happy to find this gem open on a Monday night past 9pm in Seattle. Food was fresh and surprisingly authentic. Drinks were flavourful and recommendations were on point. Standout dish- Pad Mama with Beef.

This restaurant serves very tasty "beef boat noodle" bowl I have ever tasted so far. I tasted many "beef boat noodle" bowls in Thailand for so many years. To my taste, Bangrak Mkt just tops it all with better beef quality, very soft and juicy meat, and overall balance very "umami" broth (without having to seasoning anything). Though what I didn't like was Bangrak Mkt had more noodle per soup broth ratio. The noodle got soggy and no longer "al dente" as time went, unlike in Thailand. I will go back again when in town and will politely tell the chef to please take 1/2 the noodle out :-) Cheers.

Amazing vibes for this great Thai location. Tunes pumping through dinner provided a upbeat feel through dinner. I've tried curries throughout the states and this is the best I've had at a great price and incredible portions!

I've spent a fair amount of time in Chiang Mai eating Khao Soi in lots of places, but I think the huge bowl I had at Bangrak Market this afternoon was the best I've ever had! A very generous serving of the delicious soupy noodles with chicken, pickled greens, onions, lime and crispy noodles served by friendly and attentive busy servers. We also had northern Thai sausage, corn fritters and mango sticky rice. All those were tasty, but the Khao Soi stands out.

Worst Thai food we’ve ever experienced. If you like everything sweet without any other flavours, you’ll love this restaurant. If you’ve been to Thailand you won’t recognize the flavors because it lacks authenticity. Service was very average.

Thai food. Food was really good and drinks even better. Mimi is one talented bartender and her drinks were AMAZING! The restaurant made me feel like I was back on the streets of the night market in Thailand. Literally felt like I was back in Thailand with all the colors and decorations. We went back to eat and get Mira drinks. Would recommend asking if Mimi is working just so you can try her drinks. She made us three drinks; I think ginger martini (can’t remember) Thai Sabai and a Tom kha martini. AMAZING!!

Not sure what happened, but nothing tastes the same anymore - was there few weeks ago, they taste like any average thai restaurants in seattle. Still has a cool ambience and location but if the food isn't great then sorry I'm not coming back.

We visited during happy hour, they have a special happy hour menu, inexpensive drinks and appetizers. All tasted great. Service is prompt and not pushy at all. Food was good

Another fine, new addition to Belltown. Without a doubt, this is the best thai for miles - you probably can't find a better pad kee mao anywhere in Seattle. Not as cheap as most thai places, but you're paying for quality and I have no complaints. Very unique setup and usually blasting loud thai pop/rock, everyone working there seems super nice and accommodating as well. If you're planning to visit for dinner on a weekend, get ready to wait for a while.

Ordered the most amazing papaya salad and fried tofu. The flavors were out of this world. It had been at least 20 years since I’ve had a restaurant NAIL IT! Kiddo had a chicken dish and ate every bit. We will always come back when in Seattle. Great service with smiles!!

On a Wednesday night, went for dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in many years. Service was prompt and friendly, and the restaurant was bustling, but not overly busy. My food was just O.K. I didn't end up finishing my drunken noodle dish (which is unusual for me) and the green beans had too much garlic in then -- although they were cooked nicely. (Not too much, not too little.) It's surprisingly hard to find a good restaurant in Seattle that's reasonable. The pricing here is what you'd expect. I'd probably not come back for a while.

We went right at 4 when they were supposed to be opened. Staff was not ready to open until almost 410pm. We were seated but left pretty much alone for another ten to fifteen minutes until someone came to take our order. We had three appetizers (Chicken Satay, Fish Balls and Green Beans), all were about average in taste, with the green beans being our favorite. We had four cocktails, supposedly they had Happy Cocktails during happy hour but none of the ones we ordered apparently qualified. Most were over-sweet, the best being the Jalapeno Basil Margarita. It also took at least 15 minutes after we were given the check to get the waitress back to the table (note: They were not busy at all, there was only one other table). Would not recommend for Happy Hour and do not anticipate returning. This was a real disappointment.

sorry to be the fun spoiler, but this busy place is very bad. the food is less than mediocre with relatively expensive prices. the place is extremely noisy and unpleasent

Terrible reception, really rude lady maitre d (joke ) no menu have to use q code no Wi-Fi ??? Unless you stand next to desk ,waitress terrible rude ,said the do not have menus you have download ,nice helpful young fella be hind bar eventually printed one off .food not bad .place filthy toilets don’t want to know beer terrible ,.sitting in terrace filthy .been all over the world Bangkok is cleaner

This place was awesome! We ordered the Crab delight and the Moo Sam Chan Tod Nam Pla appetizers as well as both getting Pad Thai. The spice was a bit conservative but it was easy to add spice. The flavor was amazing with good complexity. We stopped here for lunch before jumping on our cruise ship. It is three blocks from pier 66 with easy walking access. Pricing was also very reasonable especially for the area.

We had the red beef curry. It was absolutely delicious! We loved the vibe of Bangrak Market…It felt like we were in a marketplace in Thailand! The bellman at the Mayflower Park Hotel recommended this restaurant to us and I am so glad we took his advice.

We had some amazingly authentic Thai food! Just like we get in Bangkok! Som tum and khao mun gai were legit. Even the sauce for the Hainese chicken was perfect. Super impressive thai food. Huge menu! Happy hour specials too

Drinks where ok, the Music in the left part where we where sitting, was so loud , you couldn’t hear yourself… they said , it’s the concept … ok … nice concept!!🤣🤣 Food was ok, have eaten much better … My crispy pork belly , was just -> port belly ! And getting the Bill while still eating is just a disgusting behavior Stop that please .

Wow! This place was recommended by our nephew, and what a great recommendation it was! We sat at the bar and had the best time! The bartenders were engaging, fun and true mixologists. I think they were having as much fun concocting delicious cocktails as we had drinking them. 😊 The food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Two weeks later….we are still talking about it and telling our friends to go! Can’t wait for our next trip to Seattle so we can return to Bangrak Market and try more things on the menu.

The service was great! The bartender assisted me in picking out food to try. It was a great, authentic atmosphere as I enjoyed my lunch!

Upbeat Thai spot with cocktails and street food. Came here on a Friday around 9:30pm for dinner and put our name down for the waitlist. You can also put your name in via the Yelp app. Indoor and outdoor dining is available. The outdoor dining is covered and has heat lamps. The music was bumping and I liked the neon light decor. The khao soi was delicious and came with an option to customize the spice level from 1-5. A 3 was perfect - it had a kick, but not overly so. The crunchy noodles on top provided some nice contrast. The pork dish was super tasty and I really liked the sweet sauce. It came with a side of plain chicken broth which was pretty bland and got cold quickly, so if you get this, maybe try drinking the broth first. Overall, the food was super tasty and reasonably priced.

May everyone be healthy! We were checking out this neighborhood where we might buy a condo and along with “shiro’s” this was one recommendation. We have visited Thailand too and know what Thai food should taste like. My wife had pad med mamuang (cashew nuts, green peppers, shrimp over rice), and I had Kao soi Chiangmai (a yellow curry with chicken over noodles — Chiangmai style), with a Thai coffee. I had hotness at a three level and it still wasn’t too hot; I’ll ask for “4” next time. This was pretty good. My wife said the shrimp and rice was a bit sweet, but it looked good. We will certainly go back. There were many customers and people coming up for takeout orders while we were there, so this is a popular place. The bill came to about $40 for the two of us. Bon appetit!

With a craving for Thai food, we came here for dinner on a Friday night. The vibe was loud and fun with some of the 2000s greatest party hits coming across the sound system. When we, in the interest of economics, ordered a beer bucket, it came with a sparkler. Once we got our food, it was fantastic. I particularly liked the satay. The portion sizes were also great and I left with another meal for the next day.

This place was right behind our Airbnb. After a day of hiking, this place definitely hit the spot! The food was fantastic and the staff was helpful with recommendations. They definitely did not disappoint. The mango sticky rice was delicious! We tried the following and would recommend it all: 🥢Moo Sam Chan Todd Nam Pla {fried marinated pork belly} 🥢Goay Teaw Ruea {famous Thai boat noodle soup > bean sprout > Chinese broccoli > garlic oil > pork} 🥢Kao Moo Dang Moo Krob {bangrak crispy pork belly > Chinese BBQ pork > jasmine rice > special sauce} 🥢Kao Neaw Ma Muang {mango sticky rice} 🍵 Cha Yen {thai tea}

My pick up order was 2 hours late and their rude, entitled host/server was just awful- he said it's only two hours late, btw we've not even started your order and it's going to be at least 20 mins more. Then proceeded to tell me to cancel my order. Did not even refund the amount. I had to chase down grub hub to ensure they voided the order. I drove 30 mins from north Seattle to pick it up- and so at 8 46 pm on a Friday night, i was out of options for dinner as most places are closed for last order.

Authentic, amazing and sooo delicious. I wish I had more time to try one of everything! Well done 10 stars. 3rd time we have eaten here while visiting Seattle and will be back again.

We were walking past this restaurant and noticed the fabulous food being served at the outside tables . We immediately decided to take a late lunch . We enjoyed everything about it. We loved the drinks served with plenty of ice , the fabulous , authentic dishes and the fact you could choose your own spice level from 1 to 5. We chose level 3 and it was perfect . It had plenty of chilli heat but not too much . We would definitely return . The staff were also very friendly, efficient and helpful .

By far one of the most unique dining experience I’ve had in any Thai restaurant. The vibe, music, food and music was just beyond my expectations! Five stars all the way. Highly recommended if you’re in Seattle

Don’t bother if you’re over 30 It’s a young person’s place to hang. The music is so so LOUD I had trouble ordering and hearing what the server said,, Nice staff. Usually love Thai food! This was awful. Between the loud vibrating music and the tasteless food I was actually sick later on. But then again as I said maybe none of this will bother you if you’re young.

Such a cool atmosphere and fun Thai music! And the food was great too! Had the Khao soi (great), gyoza (ok), sai oua (great), yellow curry (good), pad krapow moo (great but wished it came with the runny egg). It was all super good (the gyoza felt out of place but that sauce was very tasty). The mango sticky rice to to pit off was great too! Already thinking of coming back on my next trip back to Seattle. Hard to find all of these combinations of thai street food (esp the sai oua) in one place. Legit tasting thai street food and could even wash it downwith Chang beer! We'll be back for sure! Khapkhun Khrap!

The restaurant food was so-so, but we had bad and worst waitresses who made our visit awful. The restaurant was empty, and we requested the first waitress move us to another table nearby. She said all other tables (about 10) were reserved and could not change. All tables remained empty even when we left. The second waitress was seriously bad and disgruntled and hated to serve us. She refused to answer anything we asked for and acted she hated our presence. She told it is street food; that is how they serve it. Never visit this restaurant as it is the worst service for Thai food in Seattle. Basic Thai food you can get in many other great restaurants. We also had to send our food back as the food was still frozen, cold and uncooked. They recooked and brought it back. I would give this restaurant minus 10 stars on a scale of 1 to 5.
Yep..that bad
I was so excited to try this place! Great reviews, recommended by our hotel! First clue was a guy with his dog on the table across from us. I’m the biggest dog lover on the planet..4 rescues at home! But, the waitress kept bringing him treats..great for the floor, right? Put them on the table? No way! I ordered the Thai soup and was excited! One spoonful..something was horrible. I told the waitress I couldn’t eat it. She took it away then comes back and says “our chef tried it and you’re right it doesn’t taste good “ so I order another dish. In the mean time the guy with the dog is leaving.. let’s him go up and across the table that people are going to eat off of!! I say something because the whole experience was awful! “Oh ok, want a box?!!” Really?! Sounds like a spot that thinks they don’t need to keep the standards that will keep them in business.
