We happened to walk by the Dossier Hotel and saw this place through the window. The staff were very friendly and the place has a pretty decor. We ate and highly recommend the Bacon Smashed Burger and the Steak Frites, as well as the Napoleon dessert. Delicious!! The French Onion soup was just average, a bit of a surprise given how good the entrées were. We would definitely go back for the burger and the steak frites.

I really wanted to like this restaurant in the Dossier Hotel because I like the hotel. Unfortunately, the food is awful. We tried breakfast and dinner and both times left disappointed. The service was lovely.

A gem! Excellent service, excellent food! Stayed at the Dossier Hotel and came across this awesome spot at the hotel. I can definitely recommend the fried gnocchi, lemmon pound cake, blistered green beans and the chicken sandwich. Has an amazing dining experience thanks to Amanda and James who provided excellent service to make the meal even more enjoyable.

We had a delicious breakfast at Bar Alder with two other couples after a very pleasant overnight stay at the Dossier Hotel. We ordered a variety of entrees. Each was very well prepared and enjoyed by all. Our server, CJ, really made our dining experience outstanding! He was timely in serving us and checking back to ensure we had everything we wanted. CJ had an easy rapport and a great sense of humor that had us all in stitches throughout our meal! Spend some time at Bar Alder and ask for CJ! You'll be glad you did!

Happy hour in this popular spot was delightful. The truffle mac and cheese with wagyu meatballs was great for 2 to share. The cocktails were reduced during happy hour. The entertainment watching our mixologist , she was way more than a bartender. Jackie was fun, social however she was extremely busy too.

Had a quick bite before heading off to a couple of wineries for a taste. A little pretentious in a cool way. Clean and well decorated. Olive and CJ know what they’re doing. Great hospitality. I’ll be back for dinner!
