Worth venturing off the riverwalk for

By Lisa B |

We made dinner reservations based on a local recommendation. We went for dinner Saturday night. The restaurant is on the smaller side comfy/cozy. Even though the restaurant was full the service, the drinks, and the food were all great. We split a cheese board, pork belly app, and the Loretta burger with tots all soo good. I highly recommend venturing off the riverwalk for this gem.

Poor

By Tammy N |

Food over cooked. The loster risotto over cooked, no flavor/taste and non existence of lobster. Shrimp ok, but 6 shrimp over priced at $28.00. Very small portions. One small Martini overpriced at $28.00. Very small place with poor parking. Not wheelchair accessible and parking is poor.

Great atmosphere, food & drinks

Great atmosphere, food & drinks. Staff were friendly & welcoming. Definitely recommend if you want some upper scale food & drinks at a spot frequented by locals. We sat at the bar & ended up having a great time chatting with several locals for a few hours. Highly recommend.

First time eating here and it was amazing! The polenta cake was so good we ordered a second and still fought over it! My husband had the burger which he raved about and I had the special which was swordfish and it was delicious. Make reservations and come eat here!!!!

At last somewhere to enjoy in San Antonio

By Stuart P |

An outstanding experience, the best we had in two trips to San Antonio. Great atmosphere and a lovely, busy setting yet service efficient and professional. Food simply superb. Great options from seafood to burgers which our party had and each was skilfully prepared, presented beautifully and served piping hot. We rate this the best option in San Antonio by a clear margin.

Amazing food tucked into a very cool neighborhood!

We went here while visiting San Antonio based on a friend’s recommendation. All of us enjoyed different meals and cocktails. The food is not over the top unique, but just slight unique spins on classic meals. Will definitely visit when I’m in the area.

Hidden Gem In Southtown

By Jerry J |

We were staying in Southtown and wanted to get a feel for the local neighborhood and came across this hidden gem. Great food, drinks, and service!! Reasonably priced and a great local atmosphere. Being from out of town, if I lived around here, I would be going to this establishment frequently!!!

Still High Flying

Just back from early dinner and beverages. Beet salad starter, The famous brussel sprouts and the Loretta Burger. All very high quality and super tasty. Todd made the experience enjoyable a d we had a nice visit with the owner. Great place for after work or any occasion. 5-7 seems not difficult to get a table. Beyond that, a rez is best. Cheers

This restaurant has only been open for 10 months now but boy do they know the ins and the outs of meeting people's needs!

San Antonio’s Best Experience!

By Marbella John |

A six minute Uber ride from the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio for the best meal of our visit! Ashley, our new best friend, served us incredible salads, entrees, wine and deserts. We will be back!

Casual and craft

By gondekp |

Went during a work trip and chose based and the combination of craft cocktails and food. Was not disappointed. Very casual atmosphere with a lot of character. I arrived a little early and got a drink at the bar. The bartender was experienced, friendly and a legit professional. Enjoyed the drinks and interaction. For dinner the server was great. A lot of recommendations and explanations. We shared the polenta cake, Brussel sprouts and pork belly. The sprouts were the favorite of the 3. For main I had the pork chop. Don’t recall what exactly the side was but involved shredded apple and everything was great. We shared a fresh toast brûlée for dessert. Throughly enjoyed the meal.

One Last Meal Before I Pass

By McMurry |

The Peppered Beef Tenderloin with potato gruyère gratiné, and grilled asparagus was incredibly delicious! The red wine mushroom demi made it all the more special. If I were granted one last meal before I pass on to the other world, this would be it. Well, that and a gin martini to start.

New Gem

By JJJRS5 |

We had a number of entries, and all were excellent. The Loretta Burger was sensational. There is bar seating, traditional seating or private room seating. Choose your level of vibrancy. Reasonable prices on their bar, wine and beer as well as the excellent menu items. Good service, even offering a beer sample which was surprisingly large.

Fantastic! Not to be missed!!!

Amazing meals for everyone from someone that clearly knows their way around d the kitchen. Cooked with love and competence. By far the best meal we’ve had in the USA in the two weeks we’ve been here. Sorry about the photo of an empty plate. Not really sorry, it was fantastic!

Fortunate enough to attend a soft opening tonight and predicting wild success. All small plates were samples of the menu to come. All outstanding. Fun vibe and ambience. Great and ample staff. We will be back, A LOT. Cheers
