Really great service and atmosphere, but did and drink I'd rate perfectly average. We had the red sangria which was a disappointment. It was super sweet and barley had any wine in it. I'm a light weight and was perfectly OK to drive after four glasses. Of the five tapas we ordered: - really delicious- bacon wrapped dates and truffle whipped goat cheese - good- beef empanadas, sauteed calamari - poor- pork shank (mostly fat and over cooked) I would go back but won't be a regular.

This place had such a great atmosphere and the food was wonderful. Stop in for dinner with some co-workers and we all enjoyed it!

Reminded me of eating out in Spain...tapas!!! The shareable plates came fast to the table once we had a discussion with our server Karyn about our food allergies and dislikes! Loved the bread, salads, and the 5 different tapas we were served. Portions are small but very tasty!! Loved the atmosphere and the large wine collection on display.

I love this kind of eating. Great selection of tappas. Everything was beautifully plated and executed. The price was fair and the ambiance was beautiful. It gets busy busy. This place is not a secret so get there early. Check out the bartenders...they really know what they are doing!

The service was one of the best experiences I had with Tania. She pulled out her marker and made some amazing food and drinks suggestion. We had Gambas-DELISH, Brava, Steak Palliard, Sheep’s cheese and TOPPED IT OFF WITH CHICKEN Pimientos! For drinks we had the Side-Hustle and a White Sangria…we were extremely full but she told us we couldn’t leave without having the Olive Oil cake!!! The way she explained the details of it all we had no choice…. LISTEN SHE WAS ON POINT WITH EVERY SUGGESTION AND HER ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!!! You guys are in Florida!!!! Not only am I chasing the “Tania Experience” I look forward to visiting the Miami location in the near future! Shoutout Joe (Management)

The tapas here are delish! They include old favorites like gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic butter), beef empanadas, fried calamari, and tortilla española (potato omelette) and also innovative options like octopus. The collard greens were not typical “soul food style” but were good. Everything is served with crusty bread and high quality olive oil. For dessert, do get the crepes! The service was friendly and efficient. There is free parking in the evenings in the garage next door.

The trainee waitress mixed up my credit card with another customer. Took 20 minutes to straighten it out. No one explained or apologized. Meanwhile, my credit card was somewhere. No accountability. Be careful of this place!

Sangria tasted like medicine and calamari was way to salty. Good service and nice area but food and drink were disappointing.

First and noteworthy, super friendly team, great service, laid back (we brunched for nearly 3 hours and never felt rushed). Cava and "mix your own mimosa" bar was a fun experience - the addition of bitters to mix in is a really nice touch. I tried the cardamon/apple on my first mimosa and then a more traditional bitter addition - fun and unexpected and made for some great conversation with other patrons. The assortment of tapas is inspired with nods to Spanish cuisine (obviously) but some creative variations. We started out with a charcuterie and cheese board of two cheeses and a serrano jamon - good portions. Bread was crusty and plentiful. We then moved on to individual tapas dishes; highlights included the steak, empanada and jamon and cheese croquettes. The French toast that we ordered as an afterthought was warm and pillowy - reminiscent of a zeppole - beautiful - as were the crepes with dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream which we shared. No let downs. A little pricier than a typical brunch.

We were told by the bartender of our hotel to not come to this side of town. I am so glad that we ignored that advice. Had an amazing time and as I write this review, it has been over a year later. Great service, amazing food, will come back one day.

This place was extraordinary. I went with my husband on a whim because our 3rd year anniversary was spent in Barcelona, Spain and we were hoping this restaurant would bring us back there! And it definitely did!! It was absolutely amazing, the muscles and the bravas took me aback with how amazing they were. Without a doubt the best mussels I have ever had. I will be returning with all of our friends and family! So happy to have Barcelona so close to home.

Barcelona Wine Bar is a great place to socialize and enjoy a great selection of Spanish wines. The restaurant is warm and inviting and has a good sized bar area in the main area. On this occasion were were there during a Saturday afternoon. It was packed so I can only image what the crowd would be like into the evening and at nights.Keep in mind that this seems to be a very popular spot. So service can be a little slow. If you are in a hurry, you might seek other options. I didn't get to the try any food on this visit but I will also go back. Go there, you'll have some fun

I saw this place while having my phone serviced across the street and checked it out on line and because the ratings were 4-4.5 came for dinner with my wife. I have to be upfront and tell you that I have been to Spain at least 6 times and to Barcelona itself 4. I also lived in Miami 23 years where there are many good to great Spanish food places. Here is my opinion. Romantic this place is not. Loud it is. We went on a Friday evening and the place was jammed. If you are into wine this is fine. But for us, older couple looking for good food and just one cup of wine (my wife does not drink) this is just average. Parking is a pain. The place is nicely appointed. Even though there were many people waiting, we were only a couple so we got seated right away. The service is very good. Even with the big crowd we had a waitress taking care of us right away. I ordered a cup of Spanish Tempranillo for $7.50 that was good. My wife ordered two tapas and I ordered 3. I tried all 5 and my opinion is the same as hers. The 3 I ordered are only my opinions as she did not try them. I understand that when it comes to food, what I like you might not and vice versa. Hers-Manchego cheese with ham croquetas-2 out of 5. Fried calamari-way too salty and not crispy. 1 out of 5. Mine-meatballs-4 out of 5. Garlic shrimp-4 maybe 5 out of 5. Both pretty good. Spanish potato omelette-1 out of 5. Possibly the worst I have ever had. The bill was $50.10 and with tip $60.10. Would we go back? Not if my wife has anything to say about it. Tip-Want to have a conversation-sit outside.

I had never had tapas and wasn't completely sure what to expect. The staff was more than patient to help us through the confusion and the results exceeded my original assumptions. Inside was a bit louder than I would like, so we moved outside which was no problem. I could truly tell that our pleasure was in their first interest, and they truly wanted us to get the full experience of Barcelona's and who they are. Great people, we will definitely go again!

We arrived and we were able to get a bar seat for two right away. It was inside with great decor and lively atmosphere. Music was loud and the conversation was happening around the granite bar that was the size of most of the left side of the restaurant. We had great servers who attended to us with knowledge of the menu. We started with wine and a beer which was brought to us promptly along with a container of bread & olive oil. Everything we ate was delicious. The in season pick for the night was okra and it came three different ways. We chose cheese from the Charcuterie, a few tapas(lamp chops!!), and finished with an amazing coconut ice cream on top of a chocolate molten cake with raspberry sauce. We came home and have told many of our friends about this place and hope to go back soon!

I met a business colleague here for drinks and dinner. We had a reservation, it when we arrived we decided to sit at the bar for a drink or two before we went to our table. (The bar staff is great!) When we were ready, they seated us immediately. Although the restaurant was busy, they gave us several options for seating; we chose a table outside near the wood burning fireplace. The selection of tapas is excellent, and everything was interesting and delicious. Their wine list is excellent (of course heavy on Spanish wines). The price for the evening was reasonable, and the atmosphere was great, with many young professional people. We will go back.

Everything here was delicious! I ordered the shrimp and grits and my husband the yoghurt and granola. We also had croquettes as an appetizer. Everything was fabulous!!! They made ordering and paying really easy too, with a QR code to scan on your phone. The restaurant had a very classy feel. This was definitely one of my favorite restaurants !!

Its a great spot to sit outside to have a drink but other than that I wouldn't recommend it. Inside the restaurant its so loud that you have to scream to have a conversation... terrible acoustics. The food was disappointing, and the service average. The place has a lot of potential but the quality has done down. Their drinks, however, are very good and they do offer valet parking (at no additional cost). Great location, but other than that I wouldn't recommend it.

The Barcelona is as close to a tapas bar you can get too and not have to travel to Spain. The selection is outstanding. The pulpo is the best along with goat cheese purée and salmon tapas. The selection of one wine is equally outstanding. Look for wine specials which are usually a great bargain. Ask the service staff for other special items that can be prepared if you're a tapas pro. They will accommodate. Anchovies? They got'em. My favorite in a tapas bar with anything! Great olives. But don't dwell on them. Whole foods has better seasoned olives. Here is the secret to this restaurant- great place to meet people and potentially develop great friendships. Everyone here is looking to socialize. Hence- The true spirit of a tapas bar in Spain.

This is a great Tapas place. Excellent tapas and the Paella was great too. Very friendly and efficient service. Plenty of indoor seating, easy to fit in a large group. I’m coming back.

Pro: great restaurant with a wonderful vibe! Barcelona has a rustic, yet modern Euro vibe that makes this a terrific date spot. The vino selection is on point, and the staff is well trained to guide you through the wine list. Con: food lacks bold flavors, uniqueness, and presentation to make this a 5-star destination.

The food was good, some of it great. The meatballs were as good as Wolfgang puck are. The restaurant is nice and service was excellent.

We've been a few times, Barcelona wine and tapas bar always has great ambiance. Service isn't always great, but the food is amazing. The selection of wines is wide, although they do not have everything available. I love the food and their bread so I always go again.

Grilled trout excellent. Grilled shrimp very good. Asparagus okay. Octopus okay. Watermelon salad very good. Beet okay. Guns and Roses is a great wine cocktail. Service just fine. Ambiance very noisy and close seating. Price about $10/dish. Not the “amazing” tapas others have described. Portions unpredictable but as others have noted minimum is size of dishes in Spain.

We wanted to try the restaurant because of a recommandation. We made a reservation as it was a friday night. We had to wait 40 minutes for our table, the host was very unfriendly, no apologies at all. The food was very good, but we wouldn't visit again.

It is better than average, but not "very good." It was good, and still has potential. I have been here about 5 times. The first time was perfect and pre-covid, and so were the second and third time. The fourth and fifth were this weekend (Oct. 24/25th 2020) The charcuterie board! yes. The host/hostess. yes. The diversity. yes. The food.......meh. The broiled oysters were on the menu but they were out and it was only 1pm. I had tot use the restroom and on the way I spoke with a cook who was super helpful, I asked her what the best dessert was and she said olive oil cake, but they were out of the compote it's normally served with, she said the crepes were good, but they were out of the filling. I wanted to try their tableside gin and tonics, which was on the menu, but our server said they weren't doing that at this time. I'm like c'mon, this experience went from a 4.8 to a 3.2 in 15 minutes. Before, their paella was burned and there food is inconsistent. The drinks are fabulous and the servers are nice. Could be better, but if you go you may love it or not...it's really a tossup.

There is free valet for your car. Pull into the road to the right past the restaurant (if coming from the Ponce). We got there around 6:30pm without a reservation and got right in. We asked and got a table on outside. The wine was very good. They bring bread and dipping oil. We also ordered a few Tapas to share. They were trying out the chickpea dishes. We got the fried one. It was ok, but could have used more flavor. We also got the mussels (fine, but again not a ton of flavor), whipped truffle goat cheese with dipping bread (that was good) and olives. This would be a great place to sit out with friends and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.

Spent quite a bit of time in. Barcelona and found this restaurant in Atlanta every bit as good. The Patatas Bravas is actually better at Barcelona Wine Bar.

I have been coming to Barcelona for years and it never disappoints. The hanger steak, empanadas, and croquetas are some of my favorite tapas there, but you will not go wrong with anything you order. The atmosphere is vibrant with fun music and people. What prompted me to write a review today is that the staff last night (whoever was working Jul 18 you rock!) went above and beyond. My friend and I were trying to get away from a guy who was not taking 'no' for an answer and the staff at Barcelona totally came through for us. They made sure we felt safe and literally and figuratively looked out for us. You guys are amazing! Thank you!

Caveat. I'm a professional chef of 30+ years. Visited Atlanta in May 2022 and had our last dinner here with Friends. Got a reservation online easily, waited a couple minutes while our table was prepared. We ordered a number of Tapas to share. Staff did a good job bringing them in a timely manner. Interesting wine list. We ordered a terrific Txacholi (sp?) at a reasonable price. Dishes were all pretty classic Spanish - Ocotpus was good and tender, The chorizo with sweet and sour figs held promise but was a little too sweet and sour. Croquettas were yummy. Everyone at the table loved the child carrots with pistachios. Will say that ambient noise was very disconcerting - hard to hear my dinner guests at the table - lots of hard surfaces made the busy dining room VERY loud. But ultimately we enjoyed our dinner there. Good Service.

Every menu item we tried was delicious, I especially enjoyed the meatballs, very tasty. Even the pulpo was good and I'm not an octopus eater. Hangar steak was tender and cooked perfectly also plenty of vegetable options as well. This restaurant is bustling very busy on a Saturday nite but not to worry the restaurant has plenty of waitstaff and servers as the service of the tapas was very quick. Our server was friendly and knew the menu, she recommended several tasty tapas dishes. I didn't try the paella but this gives me a reason to go back. Kudos to Barcelona

We made a reservation for 4 a week in advance to have a nice dinner out before an art show nearby. When escorted to our table the hostess stepped outside the restaurant expecting us to follow. Now I did still have my wool overcoat and scarf on, but was intending to take it off for dinner, so I waited for the hostess to return from the patio with her confused look...and request to follow her outside to our table. At this time I did notice other bundled up patrons suffering to stay warm under the heat lamps. I let her know that having made a reservation in January, we made the foolish assumption that we would not need to specify a table indoors. She let us know she had no choice in the matter, and she introduced us to the manager who informed us we'd have to wait 20 mins or so since they had no indoor table available for us. We did wait, and then were escorted to the bar, where it was so loud the four of us could not hear each other even when practically yelling across the table. We had a parade of servers introduce themselves to tell us they would be the 'one' taking care of us tonight. Turns out none of them really took on the job seriously, and the tapas were good at times (brussel sprouts) an sometimes awful (Birdseye would have rejected the swordfish/cardboard we had!). Nevertheless we used what was left of our voices to tell a few dozen friends at the art show our 'funny' story.

Fabulous outdoor lunch with great service. But, the food is consistent. The broccolini was tough and tasteless. The shoshito peppers (which I've eaten in Barcelona) were inedible ( the need to be roasted). We had the empanadas, whipped goat cheese with honey, and meatballs. They were fairly good.

While on vacation, a friend suggested we try this authentic Spanish tapas bar, and we are glad we did. We went on a week day, two to our party, and did not need a reservation. It is located in a walkable neighborhood, with about a dozen quaint restaurants, next to each other. Parking was available on the street, however, there is also valet parking. Upon entering, the decor is nicely appointed, and there was a very lively large bar area. The entire restaurant was packed, and a much too noisy to have a conversation. I would think this place is great, though, to meet new people. We chose to sit outside, since the weather was perfect, and wanted a more relaxing vibe. Outdoor seating is very nice and cozy, even for a romantic date, being that it is much quieter. They even have a lovely area with a fireplace, outdoors. Loved the ambience! Our server was superb, made good suggestions, and was very attentive. We enjoyed all of our creative tapas: Braised Pork Belly with pickled red onions, Crispy Calamari with smoked tomato aioli, Spanish Chickpea Cazuela, Garlic Shrimp, and Lentils with Smoked Bacon. The server kept the bread coming, as well. We were too full to try dessert, but they looked tempting. They also have a great wine selection. On my next visit to Atlanta, I will definitely return and try a few more selections. I only wish there was a restaurant in Maryland.

They have great outdoor seating in a cute area. The tapas was all really high quality and fun to share all of the plates! The bacon or prosciutto wrapped dates were my favorite while the beef with sauce and shrimp were the favorites of the table. The servers were knowledgeable about the wine and they serve other drinks too. The fireplace outside is beautiful!

I enjoyed the atmosphere and energy. When we arrived the staff was very attentive. We had a variety of meat and veggie dishes. My fav was the heirloom tomato salad. They struggled a little with my cocktails. Think it was due to the sound level and explaining what I wanted. Food came out at the right pace. Drinks not so much. Wait staff where many we were told would be attending to us unfortunately were inattentive. Food and atmosphere gets a 5. Wait staff 3.

After several recommendations for skyline view and ambience we tried Barcelona. It did not disappoint!!! The manager Eric and waiter Andres paid special attention to our drink orders and our tapas. Eric assured our drinks( martinis) were perfect while Andres kept the water and bread coming along with our order of meatballs, hummus, bread with goat cheese, etc. We loved the attention given here despite the crowd. It's a busy place. Everyone here is smiling and very well served. We will be back! This restaurant is well worth the price. Thanks for the special treatment at Barcelona. Velma

I think 3 stars is generous for this one-- food was quite average. The paella took forever and wasn't particularly good and the service was pretty awful. Expensive too

If you are looking for excellent tapas......each and every one.....try try and as well the main dishes....All of Spanish influence....The outdoor seating with heaters is just the ultimate and the General Manager Michael Hixon coordinates everything to perfection...i will dine there over and over and over.....You all should do!!Excellent recommendation and destination.......Adrienne Leeds

We loved the tapas here and the chicken main dish. It's loud, lively and fun. Service was excellent the tapas were crazy delicious. We had a beef, squash bread, veggie/salad, all were full of flavor! Paella was okay, we shared it with 6 and there was only about a cup of rice in it; very sparse.

We enjoyed a nice spring afternoon here after some walking on the Beltline. I was very impressed with the wine selection and the service. We have eaten at other establishments that served tapas, and the ones we tried at Barcelona just didn't quite measure up. I'm willing to come back and try some other selections in the hopes that I can find a few things that I like, but it just didn't happen on this trip.

Excellent food; wonderful atmosphere. We were seated almost immediately. Good selections of wines especially from Spain. We ordered quite a few tapa all were very good. Really enjoyed the steak tapas that was our favorite. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We sat outside (they have heater so it was fine even in Nov) and sampled a variety of the tapas. The plates are not too big which encourages a variety. Our waiter was great and the food, oh the food was soooo good. We had fun trying to rate all the items and struggled to come up with a ranking as all were so good. Favorites included Whipped goat cheese, Okra, Potatoes Bravas, and Shrimp. For desert we had the cheese cake and the olive oil cake and enjoyed both.

I love this place for many reasons: you can sit outside by the fireplace, snuggle in a blanket on a chilly night with a glass of cocktail or wine, sharing several tapas between friends or just have it all to yourself. If you haven't been to their brunch, do visit. Try morcilla sausage Eggs Benedict or short rib hash and pair it with a refreshing cocktail from the bar, enjoy excellent execution of dishes like hanger steak (my favorite) any day of the week. What else? Bloody Mary bar for those adventurous early in a day, on the weekends. You can make a meal out of your merry drink! Kudos to the management for listening to their patrons and making our visits memorable. We will be back!

I was in a group of five who had dinner here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Tuesday night, but even so the service was excellent from the get-go. We gave the cake to the host to keep until the end of dinner, and they brought it out with the candles lit right on time. Everyone was courteous, even if they weren't assigned to our table, asking if we were lost looking for the restrooms, for example, haha. The food was great, too. My friends were not huge fans of the lamb, but the croquetas and calamari were favorites of the night. The wine selection was very broad, so two of us ended up drinking. I was not planning on any alcohol (designated driver), so the bartender made me a fruity drink while we waited for our group to arrive, which was so kind! The only thing that I would have changed was where we were seated. There were other tables available - quieter - but we were seated directly by the kitchen, where it was bustling and loud, listening to the chefs and staff.

Food was great, excellent wine choices, and the service was amazing. They were attentive, but not hovering. We ordered a variety of tapas and all of it was wonderful. This was my first time at this restaurant but it won't be my last.

The food, drinks and service were amazing. We had five people for a little birthday celebration gathering and the team did an amazing job! Kudos to Ashley great service.

We had gone to the States especially for our sons birthday which was to be celebrated with friends at what is one of his favourite restaurants, but no longer. The service was very poor, the food not a lot better the music so loud we were unable to converse. We lived in Madrid and love Spanish food but it was expensive and very limited. Some things may have been good but the whole experience and ambience ruined the evening. A long way to go to be truly unhappy with the evening, and then nearly 400 dollars bill. They gave us several free tickets but we cant use them and I'm not sure my son will be going back. The delight of the night was when because of spilt wine (the server) they offered us desert, lovely, a small portion to share between the 6 of us, we didn't even get a spoonful each.

Great night out at Barcelona with a High School friend in Atlanta. Started the evening for drinks at the sister restaurant 4 blocks away at BarTaco. Walked to Barcelona for dinner. Wonderful Tapas and wine. Lots of help from the best waitress in Atlanta, Chloe. We had the Moussaka, spicy meatballs, and hanger steak. Wow. All so good. I highly recommend this location for drinks, food and great service. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Loved this restaurant. The tapas style breakfast was amazing and very nicely done. The interior of this restaurant is very nice and welcoming. Perfect place to have a relaxed brunch on weekends.

We were a big group of co-workers and had reserved for dinner ahead of schedule. We got to order a ton of tapas including the pork belly, Albóndigas, Prawns a la Plancha, Drunken Goat, Spiced Beef Empanadas. All of them were varying levels of good, making for a very satisfying meal.

Great service and delicious tapas. Highly recommend the paella salvaje and croquettas. The olive oil cake was also very tasty.

Bartaco's (slightly more grown) sibling sits across the street from Bartaco and offers great food at a pretty steep price. Went on a Wednesday night--wasn't too busy but definitely a nice crowd. We were seated in a section with a lot of other tables that seemed to be right on top of each other, meaning it was cramped and a little loud. However, the atmosphere is overall lively and pleasant. If you've never been before, the menu is downright overwhelming. They feature meats and cheeses, tapas, and larger plates for 2+ people. We settled on splitting the goat cheese and carrot hummus and I got the hanger steak. The cheese and hummus came out in what felt like 5 minutes--blistering fast. Both were delicious, but the whipped goat cheese with honey and fresh bread was fabulous. The hanger steak was also good, but for $11 you get 6 very thin slices. It seemed like not much considering the goat cheese was $8.50 and fed 2 people. We didn't get any wine (odd since it is a wine bar), and skipped dessert as we were full from the plentiful free bread they provided. Service was somewhat slow but our waitress offered great suggestions and took her time in explaining the menu. We also got a token each for a free tapa after filling out the comment card, which is a nice touch. I'd have no problem going back, especially with a free tapa in hand.

Great food! Very delicious food with Spanish flavor in all its tapas. They eat 2 to 3 tapas per person and the waitresses are very nice.

The tapas here are to die for and the service is wonderful. The porch is dog friendly, which is also very welcoming. Highly recommended! Be sure to walk around the community before or after dinner, it is cute and quaint.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Spain and honestly thought the Tapas here was better overall than what I’ve had in Spain. Crazy, I know. The service was also amazing and really pleasant atmosphere. Fantastic selection of wines and delicious cocktails. Prices were pretty reasonable too. Highly recommend the Pulpo, beef tartar, any of the sliced hams, hanger steak... in fact everything was good!

I had dinner here during a business trip, following the suggestion of a local friend. Food was good (besides the pulp which was not tender at all) and ambience is great. Considering the price point (def not low), I would have expected a better service - we had to ask for drinks more than once and few tapas did not come out (we ordered 2 each of 4 plates, only one each come out at first). Still, I think I would go back.

We were in town for a business conference and wanted to get out of the Downtown area for a more neighborhood feel with good food, and this place hit all of the check boxes. We took a cab ride out there and were able to get a table for two within 15 min. and we were there a little earlier than the dinner crowd because as we watched outside the line grew, so I would definitely make reservations ahead of time. The wine and food were excellent, where we feel we got a taste of something original to the area that we'd remember and want to go back to. It can be a little on the noisy side, and the tables are closer together, so don't expect it to be intimate.

I have been excited about going to Barcelona for months, so I decided to have a girls night and go there to celebrate my birthday. I made a reservation for 6 people a week in advance, and upon arrival (3 min early), the restaurant had overbooked and didn’t have a table ready for us. After waiting 15 min, they sat us at an outside table in the corner with no lighting in the 45 degree, windy weather. The hosts/hostesses were the rudest people I have ever talked to at a restaurant. Once talking to the manager (the only reason I would go back to the restaurant), he was much more accommodating. He brought us blankets to the table. We understood that there were no more tables available, so we ordered food. 3 of our 10 tapas came out 20-30 min later. After about an hour (the rest of our tapas still hadn’t come out), our waitress tried to clear our table. We informed her that the rest of our food still hadn’t come out, and then the food came out within another 20 min. We enjoyed the food once it arrived. The manager (honestly a great guy), checked on us throughout the night. He also gave us a free bottle of champagne. All in all, I do not recommend going to this restaurant, for it seems they do not prioritize their reservations, and don’t have an organized plan to deliver their food to their paying customers in a timely matter.

This is a wonderful place for tapas and small shareable plates. The food is amazing and our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, helping us with recommendations on what to choose. They have a nice wine list and a hip atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious food & a fabulous experience for my bachelorette. We sat outside because of COVID (on a VERY cold night!) but the heat lamps on their patio kept us very cozy! On top of that, the manager, Dave, made sure we had an incredible experience with a special gift of champagne on the house. He also shared some fascinating facts about the restaurant! It was a wonderful time— great food and great service!

We came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. The inside was a little loud, so we chose to eat outside. It's perfect for people watching as it's located in a great walkable neighborhood. The menu offers a broad range of Spanish-inspired tapas from light to heavy. We ordered the spicy meatballs (Albondigas), blood sausage (Grilled Morcilla) and garlic shrimp (Gambos al Ajillo). All were delicious, but where the restaurant shines is in the vegetable tapas selections. The Blistered Okra, fried potatoes with an aioli sauce (Patatas Bravas), the zucchini with golden raisins (Zucchini a la Plancha) were amazing! I enjoy trying foods that I wouldn't be able to cook at home and this definitely fits the bill. Also, the service was exceptionally good. The server explained that even though there are several Barcelona restaurants around, they each have their own menu based on each location's chef. Some items are standard at all the restaurants, but many are different.

Stopped by for a taste of the Atlanta culture. The happy hour was very nice and entertaining. This is a recommended must when visiting Atlanta. It was crowded and the people were nice and friendly.

Nice evening with excellent bites, no leftovers to take home! It's all consumed on spot! You will not be disappointed

Nice atmosphere. We ordered sangria and it was too sweet. We told the waitperson and she took it away. Everything else we ordered was Great! Octopus, cheese, shrimp, and more. Excellent service, great food, fun place.

The atmosphere at Barcelona Westside is super fun! Beautiful restaurant that has the ability to be opened up in nice weather. We had exceptionally beautiful spring weather last Saturday night and all of the sliding doors were open so the fresh air and breeze were available to us inside. There is also outdoor dining, but our group of 8 had an inside table. We opted for the $35/pp tapas option and it was well worth it! The chef selected the different tapas and they were all delicious and there was so much food that we did not need the last 3 sets of tapas brought out to us. The variety of meats, seafood and vegetables was just perfect! We also really enjoyed the fresh crusty bread and the whipped sheep’s cheese with honey spread. We were stuffed and felt like we had gotten a great value for all of the hot, tasty food that was served to us. The wine and red sangria were also wonderful!

Luckily the menu is small plates because so many items are tempting. There were four of us and we tried a good variety and probably had too much. The short ribs were outstanding as was the risotto. I have had better paella but it was good. The service was excellent with good suggestions on wine.

Met a friend from out of town here and sat at the bar. It was 5 pm but already getting busy. It’s an easy place to enjoy all the different apps, lots of wines to choose from which change periodically which is good. Portions are good size and staff friendly. Always consistent....recommend!

What a great experience we had. Went to celebrate a birthday and had a really great visit to an outstanding restaurant. The food = tapas and service were both excellent. Our serve Shelby was very attentive and knowledgeable but not overbearing. The wine list is phenomenal so take your time when selecting. We had the Rioja by Torre De Ona which is a great wine at a fair price, we shared many selections starting with a cheese and Spanish ham plate. The short rib and hanger steak were the two favorites followed closely by the fried brussel sprouts. When you go make reservations and then simply use the valet parking as it is only a few steps from the entrance. It does get crowded and it can be a little noisy. BUT IT'S WORTH IT!!!

I used to valet at this place but never tried the food. The hour wait was discouraging but can be expected on a Saturday night plus during an NBA playoff game. The ambiance was intimate and romantic. This menu was new to me as you basically order a bunch of appetizers but each one I had was scrumptious! The meatballs were authentic. Brussels sprouts were perfect. Potatoes were crispy. Even the shrimp were better than expected! I had a small draft beer which fits me cause I wasn’t in the mood for a tall glass. A whole page to choose from various wines, cocktails, a few beers. I tried the cheesecake for dessert which was ok. Overall the experience was worth it and since it was mainly appetizers the bill wasn’t expensive at all. This place is good for a date night or double date. Definitely will come back to try to the brunch items (12PM - 3PM Saturday and Sunday only)

First time and the staff helped us to understand the menu and gave us great suggestions on food and drinks. Everything we tried was delicious, the PARRILLADA was the best. Different kinds of meats all grilled perfectly. The ambience is wonderful, plenty of wine options.

My wife & I contacted this restaurant weeks in advance to see about paying for our son & daughter-in-law's meal for her 40th birthday. The 4 of us had already dined there once so we were pleased to be informed that we could pay for their bill the evening of the meal. When we called to do so we were denied by staff & the manager on duty. Our son then proceeded to pay for the meal we intended to pay for. We live in California and visit Atlanta occasionally. I was mortified ! This establishment treated us poorly & unprofessionally in spite of the fact that they list a policy of being a "cashless" restaurant ! Credit & debit only... Hello people - you could have verified our card via telephone & went thru the effort to punch our card # into your machine ! Who in their right mind would call to pay for a couples $200 dinner if they were't legit parents intending to do just that ?? How could this be a fraud risk ? My wife will want to patronize your restaurant again, however I will insist we never do so ! The owners of this business should be ashamed & the staff should be admonished severely . They should never abuse customers in this fashion ! Should the owner wish to speak directly with me, feel free to respond with a phone # and I will be happy to confirm this did happen. I only wish my wife had written down the name of the employee who told here this would be "no problem" !

Came in with my boyfriend for drinks and a late lunch. We grabbed seats at the bar, which was easy as it was later in the afternoon on a Sunday (post-brunch, pre-dinner) but I would highly recommend making a reservation on any other weekend time as the restaurant is generally very crowded. We had a really nice couple of hours eating some delicious tapas and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine. I really love this restaurant as it's in a great location and has a great vibe. If you're looking for a nice dinner or a quick drink and you're in the Inman Park area I would recommend going in.

Great atmosphere! Lively, fun, a little loud. Very good food, and good drinks and wine. Good service, friendly staff.

We (two couples) walked straight up to outside tables on a busy Friday night, which was a nice surprise. It was a little warm outside but certainly preferable to the extreme noise levels inside. The setting was great; the wait staff attentive and informative but the food just average. The tapas plates were rather stingy portion wise for the price. Thank goodness for the fabulous bread with olive oil; otherwise we would have gone hungry. We ordered 8 tapas plates for four plus wine and beer. When we got home we made popcorn because we were still a bit hungry?!! And we are not particularly big eaters.

I must say....I love this place for food but it is half an hour past our reservation and we have not been seated. No one called to let us know. I understand that things get backed up but we called to confirm 5 minutes before and still no one told us about a wait. What is the point in taking reservations if they will not be honored and you have to put yourself to the bottom of another waitlist when you arrive?!?! If you cannot manage the time please don't waste mine.

I love this place! The two servers who assisted me were so knowledgeable and friendly. They made wonderful recommendations, and when one tapa was very late being served, they gave me a token to have a free tapas another time. The atmosphere is beautiful, and it is intimate and warm. I had a tapa of charred broccoli with a cheese and roasted pepper sauce that was fabulous. They have valet parking, a must in Atlanta.

Wonderful tapas and a very in depth selection of fine wines. Went to celebrate with the family and the waiters were very knowledgeable of their dishes and pours. Would highly suggest.

Absolutely delicious!!! Everything we tried was terrific!! Very tasty, fast, a lot of wines and good beers. Service was really good and ambiance very nice. Highly highly recommended!!

We received New Year 2018 in this cozy and chic restaurant in Atlanta for brunch. We went with friends and the experience was sensational. The waiters and waitresses all knew the right information and one of them even offered me to personalize the menu so that I know which dishes were vegetarian or could be made as a vegetarian meal. They have a nice selection of varied wines, which I appreciated a lot. The atmosphere is inviting and with the cold condition outside, we didn't want to leave the place. Excellent choice!

We dine there on every trip to Atlanta. Being able to eat outside in good weather and enjoy the ambiance of the area is part of the attraction. The food choices are so interesting and diverse, it is hard not to take one of each. We love that these are tapas and not full plates so we can try several and not be stuffed. On our last trip, the manager was exceptionally gracious in visiting our table when he made his rounds to check on the customers. Hearing how the restaurant started and his vision for the venue was inspiring. Barcelona seems to be the place to go on any Atlanta weekend.

While in Atlanta for The People of Color Conference some friends and I went to dinner at Barcelona. The place is phenomenal, great tapas for the table and a great selection of wine. We had one bottle of red wine and one bottle of white wine. The food was excellent, wine was stellar and the service was great. The one problem was that they sat us outside for our reservation in 40 degree weather. The heat lamps and blankets helped but I would have preferred eating inside. Would definitely come back and found out from the manager that they are opening a location in Philadelphia. Can't wait!

Barcelona Wine Bar Inman Park has a great reputation for it's atmosphere and culinary selections, so naturally, my husband and I wanted to try it. However, going on New Year's Eve was not very pleasurable. I made a reservation a few weeks in advance, and a couple of days before when I called to confirm, I was asked a few different times, evening by separate call, to move our reservation time. I could tell they needed seats. Sure enough, we arrived to an overly crowed restaurant. Quite a few of the patrons gave off vibes of not wanting anyone near them and just down right being rude. Food was so, so and the music, though very high energy was offensive in language at times. There are so many great spots in Atlanta, not sure if we'll go back anytime soon. A bit disappointed.

I attended a food and wine paring class at Barcelona Vino Teca and absolutely loved it! The instructor was very knowledgeable about this subject and very easy to follow. It was a really fun class to analyze the chemical reactions between food and wine. The owner, Katie Rice, was fabulous! She was so organized, generous and knowledgeable too. So this is also a wine shop with an amazing selection of whites, reds & various varieties as well as a wide variation in prices. This is a cozy comfortable place to meet friends and catch up over a glass!

We had reservations to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived on time we were told we could not be seated and no update on wait time. We went to the bar to get a cocktail and were told we could order and leave but not sit and wait. There was plenty space and no one else looking to do the same. I get that it might be policy but it was not politely shared or even an I'm sorry. We were finally seated and our server was lovely, the manager came by and was apologetic about the wait. That's all great but neither should have had to do that. The host and bartender could have been better trained and the reservation system clearly needs an overhall.

I love Barcelona tapas!! Yummy flavors that melted in your mouth on each bite! The best croquetas de jamón y queso!!!! (I wish I was there right now!!) Their wine list is wonderful!

I walked into the Inman Park Barcelona and stumped into a friend. I was hungry, but undecided about everything. I asked my friend and the bartender to help. I had a chickpea and spinach plate that was incredible. The olives were wonderful, and the garlic shrimp was excellent as well. My friend had the chicken, and I tasted it. It was spot-on! I look forward to returning for a full meal! The staff was very helpful! Bartender was very knowledgeable about the wines-which I was familiar with.

We dined here with friends during a recent visit to Atlanta. Our server was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations! The food was outstanding. Call ahead for reservations. They are quite busy even on weekdays.

Ben is our server..... cool dude! Great atmosphere- friendly staff Trendy, stylish, forget the food! Just come! You'll be happy!

We stopped by for drinks late Friday night and went with family for an early dinner on Sunday. From the time we walked in to the time we left the service was excellent. We had two infants in our party and they graciously provided everything we needed. The food has always been excellent and the drinks were good too. This is one of my favorite restaurants to bring family to when they're visiting town and this time was no exception. Great job all around.

We love the atmosphere at Barcelona's and we must have ordered a dozen or more different tapas to share which were flavorful. The staff was great, but ice must have been at a premium since we kept getting room temperature water. But where Barcelona fell completely flat was in the most important dish - the paella. It left a lot to be desired with a strange taste and even the color was off. Paella usually has the pink or the orange of saffron and ours was brownish. We were a group of 11 and the consensus about the paella was the same. The paella was too expensive for its mediocre flavor.

It's rare that we are surprised by a dining experience. Not because we don't love food and travel, but because we do. Loving both wine and Spanish tapas, we were excited to try this restaurant. This was our first trip to Atlanta, and our daughter's boyfriend recommended we try Barcelona Wine Bar. After realizing we'd gone to the "other" Barcelona Wine Bar, we made our way back to this lovely part of town. The restaurant is warm and inviting, having both indoor and outdoor seating. It is lively without being raucous, a sign that good times and good food are in store. We did our best to sample just about everything we could, appetizers and mains, drink and dessert. You can't go wrong if you start with some good Jamón and cheese. The best part is that there is an excellent selection of both. We went with Manchego, Cana de Oveja, and Mahon. These paired nicely with our Cava. From there, we followed our local guide, enjoying grilled broccolini, Steak Paillard, salads, and patatas bravas x2! The evening ended with a decaf and a delicious olive oil cake. It was the kind of evening that calls you to make reservations for the following weekend... but alas we were headed back to the West Coast. We have all been in Spain in the last 18 months and enjoyed the culinary delights on offer in that warm and remarkable country. But our evening at Barcelona Wine Bar brought together the best of those experiences into a single exceptional experience. We will be back!

We went there with 4 families. Great tapas. I would rate all but one plate 10 of 10. The one I didn't like was the lamb. Best one was chorizo sausage in fig sauce.

Tried this place based on the reviews and it did not disappoint! Husband is vegetarian and the bartender was awesome and circled all the options on the menu while we waited for our table. Drinks were tasty and the food was so delicious!

Our party of three enjoyed a great Mother's Day meal here a week ago. The restaurant was busy! Pretty noisy and lots of people coming and going, but all staff were calm and thoroughly prepared - something I find not handled well in visits to other restaurants on holidays. Service was prompt and friendly. We sampled about 9 different tapas plates and also devoured a few baskets of the delicious bread that is served, using it to sop up the amazing sauces and juices on the tapas plate. We enjoyed a bottle of wine suggested by out waitress/sommelier when we gave her our price range. No room for dessert. After dinner, near sunset, we walked a bit on the Beltway which is very close by. It was filled with many Atlantans walking/biking/skateboarding and enjoying the gorgeous evening. Great food, wine, people and environment.

Great bar atmosphere and signature cocktails. Great selection of tapas, something for everyone...beef, pork, fish, veggies, you name it. Very attentive staff. During the week, this place was pretty full, can't imagine how packed they get on weekends. Limited parking so plan on walking a bit.

We were a party of four for dinner. On our arrival, the restaurant was very crowded, so we had to wait, although we had made a reservation. We had requested outdoor seating on the patio in front of the restaurant and were seated there after a wait of perhaps 15 minutes. On our way to the patio, we passed through the interior of the restaurant, and I commented to my party that I would not have been able to tolerate the noise level inside. This is one of the noisiest restaurants I have ever been. It was okay outside, however. We ordered several tapas and two large dishes, one a paella and one a roasted fish. Both were well-prepared. The fish preparation was delightfully simple, baked, roasted, or grilled, served whole, with lemon slices, ostensibly for two people, but it was small enough for one. All the tapas were excellent. Our server, Adam, was very attentive and efficient, and overall the waitstaff was great. I will certainly return, but only if I can sit on the patio.

I really want to rate this restaurant 5 stars but I took one away for the wait time. We made reservations far in advance for a party of 6... you would think that we wouldn't have to stand around for over an hour but unfortunately we did. Fortunately they have some great Sangria so I can't pretend it was entirely terrible in the bar area. By the time we sat down the amaaaazing food made us all forget how hangry we were pretty quickly. In a nutshell: it's worth the wait but don't plan on being seated on time

Had the roasted beet salad. Suspiciously like the jar of beets I do not remember fondly from my childhood. Not awful just not truth in advertising.

In between visits to this fine restaurant, we visited Spain. It is a wonderful country with warm, friendly people, beautiful countryside, delicious food, and fascinating cities. During our tour, we made a point of choosing tapas for our evening meal. I have to say that Barcelona in Atlanta does a much better job of tapas than any we experienced in Spain. A key reason is the size of the serving. At the Atlanta restaurant, once can taste servings of several items and not feel full. In Barcelona, Spain, for example, one item was more than enough for two or three people to share and feel full.

A group of 3 business friends visited. Tapas were fabulous, drinks great, service was down-home and welcoming. Good advice on choices.

Spinach & Chick Pea and Calamari were the two highlights in addition to the wonderful Malbec I tasted with my dinner. The food is definitely delicate & tasteful. You will not be disappointed!!!

We love this spot in ATL. The food is amazing, prices are not too shabby. Service was spectacular. The only downside is the music was so loud that I could barely hear my friends.

There is an excellent selection of small dishes of all types, and for all tastes, as well as an excellent drinks list, including wine by the glass as well as by the bottle. All my dishes were seafood (shrimp, scallops, calamari) and all were excellent. Service was friendly and prompt.

7 of us went for dinner and it was perfect! Loved the sangria - not too sweet! steak, cheese with honey, beet salad were my favorites. Great desserts and service as well.

We visited in a group of six and ordered a wide variety of dishes- all were very good. Nice outside dining and live music during Sunday brunch. My only complaint was that the service started out great but became not so attentive.

We knew this restaurant was extremely popular and now we know why. Barcelona excelled in every way, with superb charcuterie, creative tapas, excellent service and an outdoor dining atmosphere that allowed for quiet and relaxed conversation. This restaurant achieves a relaxed, upscale atmosphere perfect for any special occasion. We've got a new favorite restaurant in Atlanta (and we're not alone!) and hope to return soon.

I celebrated my birthday in this restaurant and everything I can say is the food is delicious! Great service and good experience.

For reference, we went here on New Years Eve 2024, to bring in the New Year. It was packed. We had a reaervation, and still waited around 20 minutes , once we arrived. Our experience was good, but the service was slow. But outside of that, everything was good. We did get free champagne for the New Year's Toast, which was a nice touch. For food, I had the Patatas bravas & the chorizo w/ sweet and sour figs, which were fantastic. My wife had the paella salvaje & the spiced beef empanadas, which she thoroughly enjoyed as well. Parking is on street or in the adjacent parking deck, for a fee. We noticed other tables getting checked on more than ours, and there were only three of us. But kudos to the chefs for great food as usual.

Disappointed this time. Been here numerous times but this time the food just wasn’t good. Ordered paiaella (sp) waited an hour and it was really salty and not crispy in the bottom. Also tapas just weren’t the same quality as i the past.

Stumbled upon Barcelona while driving in the area. Great vibe, friendly staff, very reasonable. We ordered 5 tapas. The zucchini was excellent but was just slightly undercooked. The burratta cheese was good but could have used to be warmer. It was served out of the fridge. Staff, don’t keep okra on your menu unless you can guarantee it won’t be stringy. If it’s stringy, it doesn’t get eaten (because you’ll choke!!). The shrimp was good but the shrimp should either be really big or really small and plentiful. Served this way, they just remind me of what I get at the grocery store. Just meh. The potatoes were amazing through and through. Fried perfectly and the sauce was soooo good. The ambience and really sweet staff get high marks from me!

Stopped here on a recommendation from Annette, the INSIDER at the W Downtown, and it was great. A solo visitor on business, I was able to slip into a spot at the bar even on a very busy Saturday night. I had just been in Spain 2 weeks before and the wine and tapas selections were en pointe. Also had a DJ in the bar adding to the vibe, although I'm not sure if this is a regular feature...

100% recommended since you enter the restaurant, the staff is special and super friendly, we traveled from Orlando to Atlanta and it is the most Spanish and most delicious thing I have ever gotten in the United States, thanks for the attention! we will be back

We went for NYE. It's best to make reservations here because they always have a crowd. Our server was fabulous. He had extensive knowledge of the food and wine list and all his recommendations were spot on. We had the braised short ribs, shrimp, potatoes, mussels, and Charcuterie. All the food is really fresh. The ambiance is great and the bar is really good as well. I would put this in the mid to upper price range. If you go for a light bit without drinks you can probably come out for around 50-75 dollars for 2. With drinks for 2 it's more like 125. It's all worth it based on the quality of the food.

Excellent service, excellent wine selections and excellent food offers. What more could you ask for? Use the valet parking service as parking can be a bit of a hassle at times. The dining area does get loud at times as there is always a good crowd so I suggest reservations especially on the week-ends! Go and enjoy a great experience!

Would recommend booking in advance (We didn't), super busy restaurant mid week. We agreed to wait for a table and had a drink at the bar. We had to wait a while to be served (at the bar) and it would appear we were forgotten about (for table), but his was rectified and we enjoyed our evening drinks, tapas and atmosphere.

Group of 4 of us went on a weeknight. For a tapas restaurant the table was small and we commented on how little space there was for anything but our service on the table. Little did we know, until we saw the table next to us expanded, that our table could be easily made bigger by simply lifting the leaves. This was the first sign our server was inexperienced, which is OK but then she should have acknowledged it. Servers knowledge of menu and beverages was limited, she did go ask someone about the wine selections. Food was good, the salads and gazpacho ordered were both very vinegary. Tapas delivered to the table by a disinterested server (not person who took our order) who just dumped the food on the table without serving utensils. Soups and salads ordered by individuals randomly dumped on the table not delivered to person who ordered. Soup served without a spoon. Incorrect wine order taken back but charged to bill. Too bad, the place could be fun but the service made the evening less than enjoyable. Won't go back.

The food is always excellent. The location is really good and the atmosphere is friendly and trendy. I love this place!

I've been waiting to try a a nice place in ATL and check out the nightlife scene. When you walk in you can tell it's got great ambience and it was packed. The music was quite loud, which I usually don't mind, but we were meeting some people here for this first time and our table was right near the speaker so making conversation was a bit hard to say the least. The waiter was really helpful and every dish was good. We were with vegetarians and they were able to get quite a few dishes so it's definitely a good place for everyone. I'd say the best one we tried was the Lamb Belly and Chicken dish. The Paella was a little bit too salty, but still good. Loved the old skul hip hop and Sangria was amazing. Would definitely come back again for drinks and tapas or a special occasion :)

The food was great - a lovely mix of different tapas - all delicious but the restaurant was cold - and very loud. It had a wonderful vibe but hard to talk and be heard

Awesome vegan tapas and phenomenal drinks! Had the crispy snap peas, spicy and crunchy and delicious, and the eggplant, and a spicy margarita... soooo yummy! Appreciate that one of the managers/owners mentioned they can always accommodate certain food requests, but if I don't see marked options on the menu, I usually won't go there in the first place. We HAPPENED to go in for drinks and discover that there were a few tapas options free of animal products, which was great! But I generally scope out vegan friendly options online before I trek across town when travelling through an area. If you list vegan food options (esp. If I know you've got awesome drinks, in a great location with spectacular ambiance), then I know I can make a point of going to your establishment and having more options than french fries. Much appreciated when you recognize these options clearly in online menu and restaurant description.

8:00 pm reservations, arrived at 7:50 was not seated until 8:40. Cramped extra small corner table, pressed up against a wall, could not move my right arm at all. They did eventually reseat me to another (really small) table but able to move arms. Delicious food; over priced for small portions. Service was notably good.

Absolutely loved everything about this place, atmosphere was amazing, servers outstanding & food fantastic! 😀

Bad service and bad paella as well. We arrived and ordered tapas right away because our waitress mentioned that the paella was going to take 45 minutes. I got my sangria 20 minutes after I ordered it. We got our tapas and were good. I saw the next table’s waitress offering them bread with olive oil, I asked her were was the bread in the menu and she mentioned that it was complementary. Waitress never offered it to us. At that point, it was one hour and 20 minutes after we order. Paella came and it was burned from the bottom. Manager was nice to come to the table and apologize. Tried it and not going back.

I have been to both locations, this one and Virginia Highlands and neither of them disappoint. Perfect spot for hanging with friends, romantic date. I love the wine selection they have so many options to pair with your meals. The customer service is always exceptional and everyone is very knowledgable on the wines, food you name it. The ambiance is great, you can seat in the room with the bar which is a bit more loud and fun, the main dining which is more intimate or outside and I love their touch with the heat lamps and blankets if needed. The food... Definitely order a Meat & Cheese plate, my faves...Jamon Serrano or the Barcelona plate which is the Chef choice. Tapas: I love the potatoes dish its served with Paprika & cayenne, Boquerones, The hanger steak, Grilled brussel sprouts and spiced Empanadas My drink of choice is usually a nice Malbec Dinner I'm usually doing one of the Paellas or the Mixed grill option for 2 or 3 people. You get sausage, steak, chicken and pork chops...so yummy. Bon Appetit

This place really surprised me, I mean it was busy but they got us a table right away, their service was fast and super helpful, especially for my friends who wanted to drink and they had a lot of questions about their spirits, which the waitress knew every answer to, which made me realize that she did her homework. I ordered a Paella, vegetarian, it was delicious, also their bread is amazing. Great young crowd and prices are what they are for what you get

We enjoyed the tapas and sangria, they had trouble delivering what we ordered but quickly made it right. The paella was grossly over cooked, hard to eat. That said i will come back often.

Excellent Spanish tapas. Setting is great, service wonderful with great food. Very authentic. In addition good wines capped of a great meal. Suitable for business, couples or friends looking for a relaxed night out.

The environment at Barcelona did not disappoint! The wine list was good and the food was amazing. The staff was super attentive and knowledgeable about their menu and made great suggestions. Very welcoming space that is obviously a popular dinner spot!

Came here on a Saturday night recently, the place was packed and there's a good reason for it, it does amazing tapas food. The menu is really diverse and interesting, my favorite was the chorizo and fig dish. We had 2-3 tapas dishes per person in a group of 4 people and that was more than enough food. Service was great and we had a nice table outside. Highly recommended for a nice dinner in Atlanta.

The food was fine, some really good, some average. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated, but while waiting for the remainder of our party to arrive, were not allowed to even order a glass of wine because our waiter had not yet arrived. The host (hostess?) said that we couldn't order from the bar due to Covid. Then, after everyone arrived, another 15- 20 minutes passed before I finally asked a waiter if we had a server. He began waiting on us. The night was fine, but good service and Southern hospitality was definitely lacking. Does it exist in Atlanta anymore?? As a native Atlantan, I am not so sure.

Check your bill closely. Not once but twice on two separate occasions we were overcharged on glasses of wine. First time we went the food was great. Second time not so good. May not ever go again.

We go regularly and enjoy different and some same dishes. The service is always attentive, the food fresh and hot and the ambiance lively and civilized.

Loved everything we tried here. Especially the croquetas and the short rib! I would have gotten every single thing on the menu it was all so good. The drinks are very strong too! Really cool area as well, going to have to walk around some on my next visit.

Fabulous ambiance. The vibe here is fun and high energy. Great wine selection. We had reservations for two and sat at a table in the bar area. We truly enjoyed the loud bar scene, the other half of the restaurant seemed a bit more quiet if you are seeking that atmosphere. The outdoor patio would be fun in the right season. The food was good. The potatoes braves is a sort of soul food meets tapas. I was told it was very popular. It was unique to try and have a bite, though I would not order it again. The hangar steak was done nicely. The scallops had a great flavor profile, but were slightly chewy, definitely a disappointment for the cost since they were so small (3 tiny scallops for $15 which would of been fine if they were amazing). The meatballs (albondigas) were fabulous and the extra sauce was a perfect pair with the fresh bread. I do not recommend the crepes. It would be a vast improvement if they were warmed. The staff was a bit odd as one would expect a more professional crew, especially in appearance, and to be more versed in the pronunciation of the menu items. Overall though, this restaurant was fun and a great date-night scene. I would return when in Atlanta again.

Great selection of wines and some Staff very knowledgeable about the wines Selection of tapas food available whilst very good is expensive and very small portions

Had a lovely time in the restaurant (very delicious tapas). However, when we received our car from the valet service for Barcelona (provided by Eagle Parking), they had damaged my car, and will NOT compensate me for the damage. Don't use this valet company at Barcelona or any other place they service. Beware!!!!!

Four of us had a large variety of plates. First we had cheeses and the jamon (cured ham) from Spain. The whipped goat and the blue cheese were my favs. Then we had chickpea fritters and other veggie dishes. Final course were small plates of meatballs, hanger steak, calamari, more. Excellent! We had dessert. The small crepes were the best. We weren't a fan of the sorbet that came with the berries or the cheesecake. These were maybe 3 or 4 stars, but everything else including the pleasant servers were 5 stars. Good drinks too!

Recently had my first experience visiting the Barcelona Wine Bar located in Inman Park. We sat outside with a view of the surrounding neighborhood and enjoyed their selection of wine and beer. Very pleasant environment and very friendly wait staff. We also enjoyed some tasty dishes from their Tapas menu. If you are in the Inman Park area and looking for a place for drinks with friends, I recommend The Barcelona. (Please note, they are now a Cashless Restaurant, so bring your credit/debit card)

My wife & I celebrated our wedding anniversary. We had reservations to sit outside. It was a nice warm fall evening. It was fantastic people watching, it was the evening they announced the presidential election results. Everyone was so happy, waving flags, honking horns. It was such a fun atmosphere. Our server, Yaw, was excellent. We ordered 2 tapas, the seared scallops ($13.50), & the crispy calamari ($10.50). They were both delicious. We each ordered a half order of the paella Mariscos ($24.50). Be forewarned, the paella takes 45 minutes. The paella was disappointing. There was one shrimp with head on, which was delicious, 4 tiny clams, 4 small mussels, & squid in the rice. The rice was inconsistent. Parts of the rice was very salty, other parts was not. It wasn't awful but could have been better.I enjoyed a drink, guns & roses ($12.50), while we waited for the paella. It was pretty good. The hostess, Paula, gave us complimentary champagne. She was so friendly & so nice. She kept wishing us happy anniversary & checking up on us. Several others came by to check how the food was. The staff was wonderful. We ordered 2 desserts, the flan ($6.50), which was amazing, to die for, & the burnt cheesecake ($8.00), it was pretty good. Overall we enjoyed our anniversary dinner. In the future we would order more tapas & no paella.

Loved this restaurant! It specializes in tapas, small plates and a few entrees. We only ordered the tapas. They were all wonderful but everyone will have their favorites. Mine was the hanger steak. It was very tender and flavorful. My son loved the chorizo with figs. It was a delicious combination of sweet and spicy with a touch of sour. There are a lot of choices for tapas with everything from seafood, fish, beef, and pork. There is truly something for everyone. We also ordered the pitcher of sangria. It was one of the best I have had. Service was excellent. We did sit outside because the inside often becomes too noisy for conversation. We had 6 tapas, two desserts and the pitcher of sangria for $100. We left full and satisfied. Highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Barcelona restaurant, but we will certainly be going again the next time we're in Atlanta. The food selections were excellent -- mostly small plates that we shared among the four of us. The chorizo, in particular was notable in both of the forms that we had it. I would suggest spacing the food order out a bit, at least if you're dining early in the evening as we were since the dishes arrived pretty quickly. But, as good as the food was, the wine list was even better. Emily, our sommelier did an excellent job in exploring our tastes and pointing us toward some very find Spanish wines. And, much to my wife's pleasure, there was a wide selection of Cavas to choose from as well. Overall, a great experience.

Excellent dinner before a concert with my best friend in Atlanta! The tapas selections were outstanding and hard to choose just a few to share. The empanadas, broccolini and sweet potato hummus were favorites. We sat outside on the patio with the heaters on and enjoyed great service and people watching. Delicious!

Went for my boyfriend's birthday after being told it was great. The paella tastes like sofrito. It either sat in the window toooooo long or was made incorrectly. It was red and gummy. Didn't look like the pictures we'd seen here. The chicken was raw in the very center. The manager agreed and took it off the bill. He also bought us a round of drinks for the inconveniences. Customer service was A1 but food was a miss.

Great atmosphere with amazing food! The Manchebo & Jamon Croquetas is a must try!!! The service is also amazing!

With two friends I visited Barcelona on a beautifull spring evening sitting outside close to the road. We ordered in total 6 tapas which we shaired. Caponata, swordfish, shrimps, hanger meat, spring onions all tasted good but not special. The Douro wine was excellent and the staff was friendly. Barcelona is very good for a nice evening wth friends but go elsewhere if you are looking for really special tapas.

Tapas were fantastic. I was alone so I managed to find a seat at the bar quickly. Definitely make reservations for tables. They are busy. And there's a reason why. Loved the food and the bartender was very attentive!

My wife and daughters at at Barcelona a week ago. It is not our first time there and it NEVER disappoints. The food is magnificent, the service very attentive. If you are looking for a very fun place to go with a very cool vibe, this is THE PLACE!!

We ate here on a Friday night. Even though our table was not quite ready, we sat at the bar and started the tapas sampling with a couple of adult beverages. The food, service, and drinks were sublime. When we got to our table, there was more of the same. The food really is excellent here, not only the tapas but the entrees as well. The only criticism was that we sat next to an outside door and every time they opened the door there was a blast of cold air. Oh well....

My friend and I finally decided to dine here after hearing great things about it! We started off splitting a bottle of wine and three tapas. We wanted to keep ordering a few tapas at a time so we could try everything fresh but our waitress, Destiny, never came back to check on us. The sweet lady who was helping clear tables asked us if we needed anything else and we said we would like to order more. She got Destiny to come back to take our next tapa order and then she completely disappeared again. We ended up not ordering an entrée or dessert because she never came to check on us. After about 45 minutes of sitting around finishing our wine, we left our credit cards on the table to finally catch her attention. When she came with the checks, she never said a word to us, didn't ask how everything was, and didn't say goodbye. Sad that we did not get to try more food. Hate when great food is ruined by terrible service!

Amazing tapas (for vegans as well) great service and the selection of wine is wonderful. I wish I could go there every week.

A wide array of Spanish-themed tapas (meat and vegetarian) await you at Barcelona Inman Park. A second Atlanta location can be found at the Westside Ironworks. Servers are well versed on making wine recommendations to suit every palette. Great for a date night or a night out with friends. Perfect for happy hour, too!

I wish the service would be consistent and a bus person would be cleaning the table. We had a reservation and didn't realize the 7 of us would have to seat near the bar. It was not good for any conversation. When I asked about tables for seven I was told you cannot request a quieter area . We were squeezed into a table for 5 because they had nothing else. It was a big effort for the front desk . The food is good and we are still waiting for a second round of drinks 25 minutes later. So you decide what you want

This is a great tapas restaurant. It is very busy so you will have to wait a while if you do not have a reservation. Seating outside is better because the noise level can be a bit much. The wine selection was really nice. The location was really nice for people watching. We parked in a parking garage. I wouldn't even bother to park on the street because it is too busy. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe. The customer service was awesome.

Enjoyed a varying sample of tapas plates and all were wonderful! Server was knowledgeable and very friendly! Lively, fun atmosphere. Will go again next time we are in Atlanta.

Such a great place, ambiance was awesome, service was exceptional, food was outstanding! We will definitely be back next time we are in GA!

I love the vibe of this place. Nice mix of clientele I havent been home in years and its great to see places like this. I took my mom out for her 70th. Our servers were fast and attentive. One even indulged my mom in looking at family photos after her complimentary glass of champagne. The food was great. We really enjoyed everything.

The food was delicious and atmosphere was fun. It was a beautiful night so that helped too! Service wasn't too bad but could have been better.

Went with friends for drinks. Very busy, but fun vibe. Thought the wine was over priced, but the food was beautiful in its presentation. Would return.

It was so extremely crowded and noisy. We were seated near the bar and the crowd waiting at the bar was three deep. The service was just OK, the the amount we spent on dinner, the service should have been much better. We were also charged for something we didn't order or eat. So the food was fabulous, but not enough to make up for the rest.

After having had doughnuts mid-morning and a later lunch, our desire was to lighten things up for supper. Tapas at Barcelona seemed an ideal choice. It was walking distance from our bed and breakfast, however it was raining so we drove. That might have been just as well as we didn't have reservations. There was only one party in front of us as restaurant was relatively full, especially for a Monday night. However we were seated quickly inside. Barcelona does have an extensive patio with awnings and heaters and these allow patrons to continue to be seated outside and it was full. Our servers arrived quickly with menus and was prepared to explain tapas if needed. We ordered Sangria and perused the tapas selection while it arrived. Our tapas order was for Lamb Pintxo, Gambas al Ajillo, Manchego & Jamón Croquetas, and Potato Tortilla. These arrived in close succession and were enjoyed. We likely could have ordered a couple more dishes but had already decided to get gelato after an after dinner walk. The place is busy, the tapas is well prepared and each plate ranges in price from $6 to $15 with many in the $10 range. We'd suggests at least two tapas per person and 5 per couple would be more likely. As we wanted a light meal with room for dessert, four tapas were about right for us. Enjoy.

Although the tapas experience is inherently social and impromptu (food comes out when it is ready), and therefore fun, this particular tapas place makes it more enjoyable by offering a complimentary brunch tapas menu along with the regular offerings. Potatoes covered in savor goo shown in the photos of this listing are as good as they look. Rice and fish (migras?) make for a near meal, while the ever-trendy trout dip was definitely in the bar food camp. Service was a little overly directive and required some convincing of the waitstaff to left the group sit outside. In short, a good choice in a good section for restaurants.

Our party of 8 in Atlanta with a large work conference had dinner here based on a couple local colleague's recommendation. Inman Park area of town seems very fun & young place to be! The atmosphere at this restaurant was great! We had a drink at the bar with a great bartender, and we chose to eat outside. Several waitstaff attended to our table, and our two main servers were very knowledgable about the menu with good recommendations. We ordered a lot of different items - group's favorites were the hanger steak, vegetable paella, whipped goat cheese, asparagus, patatas bravas, and indulgence cake. Our table was busy, and it took a couple requests to get waters filled, sweetener, extra bread, but the servers did a great job staggering items. Fun experience.

This is a wonderful place! We were there on a busy Friday night and the place was packed. Our table was waiting and the service was great. Everything we ordered was delish! Enjoyed a bottle of Cava and very good Sangria. Loved all the veggies and the ham was perfect. The manager, Scott came by and we had a great conversation with him - more than a perfunctory visit. We will be back when we are in Atlanta.
Greatest Food You'll Ever Eat
I decided to eat here for my 20th birthday, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! If you go, you have to try the hanger steak. All the food was exceptional and the service was fantastic. The prices weren't bad at all, especially for a group of college students.
